At the Fire Station,

Ellie had been working hard cleaning the station and preparing the other food for Christmas dinner while the others were out looking for Penny, Sarah, and James. She had just been finishing up and cleaning all the supplies when Sam's voice came on the radio. "Mercury to Base. Mercury to Base." Sam radioed.

"Hi, Sam. What's going on? Have you found Penny?"

"We have, Ellie. We also found the twins while we were at it. We're on our way back. I need you on standby to check over the twins and Penny for any other injuries, Helen needs to know if there was anything she missed."

"Roger that, Sam. I'll get the medical room ready."

"Thanks, Ellie. See you later. Out."

Ellie pocketed her radio and went to her locker. She needed to grab something for keeping herself busy while on light duty. Since Ellie was trained and licensed by the NHS, she was allowed to have her own set of scrubs for the medical exam room of the Fire Station. Her set of scrubs had the official Fire Service logo and they were made in two different colours. One set was red for Spring and Summer seasons and the other set was blue for the Fall and Winter seasons including Christmas time.

Out on the road,

Sam was leading the escort back to the fire station and then he saw everyone with Christmas presents and Christmas food for the Fire Station. They were standing right outside the station and Sam went to park Mercury in the garage. Everyone was heading there for a special assembly. Sam was surprised and then they parked all the vehicles in the garage of the station. Sam went out to Norman, Mandy, and Hannah. "What's going on? Is this like uh... How do I put this... A big Christmas gift for all of us?" Sam asked as everyone else was parking their vehicles.

"Yes indeed, Fireman Sam. We thought that to save Penny and Elvis some time cooking. We thought we could help you get the station ready for Christmas dinner. Mandy had her dad work on the turkey while Trevor helped him. No problems. Norman and Dilys had worked on the Christmas feast with pumpkin pie, and Figgy pudding. I helped my mum and dad with the hot chocolate and we brought some for Penny, the twins, and everyone who has worked hard keeping our town safe."

"That's... Very nice of you... Everyone... I guess it's joy to the world for all of us. Now, let's all get inside the station and celebrate Christmas."

Everyone cheered and they all walked to the station kitchen and Elvis had been surprised. They knew that there was not going to be a single call for them until the next day. Penny, Sarah, and James were with Ellie right alongside Venus who was towed into the Parking spot by Phoenix which was driven by Station Officer Steele. Sam went to the kitchen with everyone else until he saw Ellie with Sarah, Penny, and James. "Wow... Ellie... Where did you get these scrubs?" Asked Sam.

"Ah... I got these after I went through training and I am Licensed by the NHS. They said I am allowed and under Boyce's directive which was a few weeks ago before this day, I can wear these at the Station while on light duty. I got to find some way to keep busy. Right?"

"Right... Well, why don't you check them over while I get the Christmas dinner set up. I'll see you four up there."

Ellie, Sarah, James, and Penny went to the medical exam room which was right next to the shower on the other side of the briefing room. Sam went upstairs to find the others in the kitchen. Penny stayed with the twins the whole time. "How are you feeling right now, Penny?" Ellie asked her friend.

"It could've been worse. But I managed it perfectly and I did all I could to keep these two safe."

"Well, that was very brave of you, Penny. How are the twins?"

"Sarah's still cold but warming up thanks to some heating packs I found in Venus. James is ok... He was cold at first but he's doing just fine. I'm actually surprised he is warming up fast."

"Really?"

"Yeah... I think he may have been using the blanket, heating packs, and a campfire I have provided to keep warm."

"That's what I was thinking."

Ellie grabbed her pen light and shined it up towards Penny's nose. She was looking for signs of Frostbite or Hypothermia. She did the same for Sarah and then James. All three came clean and didn't show any signs of Frostbite or Hypothermia. "Ok... I don't see any signs of Hypothermia or Frostbite which is good. I'm still not sure what I've missed out there." Ellie told them.

"Oh... Well, that's good then. Right?"

"Yeah, but I still need to do a few things before I can send Helen the message."

"Alright. But you sure know what you are doing. Right?"

"Of course I do, Penny. I worked in conditions like these. Besides, I can help the twins through this... And so can you."

"Ok, Ellie..."

Ellie put her pen on the clipboard which had a paper for each one for Helen to keep in case they need to go up to Newtown. She then picked up her stethoscope and carefully checked Sarah's heart rate first. Ellie can notice she had been through a lot and it was picking up the pace. Ellie decided to ask Sarah what happened. "You ok, Sarah?" Asked Ellie?

"Not really..."

"No? What's wrong?"

"I don't know... I think Norman said that there was a snow monster up on the mountains... I got scared while playing hide and seek... I didn't even know he set me up..."

"Oh, Sarah... I know you don't like it when Norman hurts your feelings like that, but he doesn't know that what he did probably caused this... I'll have your Uncle Sam talk to him after dinner. Ok?"

"Ok, Ellie."

Ellie held Sarah in a comfortable hug to keep her calm and Penny looked over at them and Ellie told her exactly what happened. "Norman Price set her up and maybe he set up James too as he is often frightened of something."

"Then that's what lead me right to them... Do you think Sam should know about this?"

"Probably. I'll explain to him later."

"Alright... I'll have to tell Station Officer Steele and the Police. They probably need to know as well."

"Good idea, Penny."

After Sarah had calmed down with help from Ellie, she was more relaxed and thankful that Ellie was there to keep her safe. Ellie continued to check over James and Penny.

Meanwhile,

Sam was upstairs working on the Christmas dinner and everything was going as planned. He saw the table being set up by Elvis, Jason, Arnold, and Tom while Hannah, Lizzie, Joe, and Ben worked on the tablecloth. The tablecloth had a Christmas theme to it. "Looking good, Hannah. You all have done a marvelous job. Penny is going to love this." Sam told her.

"Thanks, Fireman Sam. Shame that Norman had something to do with this."

"Huh? Say what?"

"Haven't you heard? Norman said something about a snow monster scaring off the twins. I knew it wasn't real and the only thing that scared them was him pretending to be one."

"Hmm... This just got interesting. Thanks, Hannah. I'll have a word with him later."

"You're welcome, Fireman Sam."

Sam left to find Norman. He knew that this had gone too far wasting their time looking for the twins which had both Charlie and Bronwyn worried.

Back downstairs in the medical room,

Ellie had finished checking over James and Penny after she examined Sarah. Penny was feeling much better after she got all worked up on like every emergency she responded to on Christmas Eve. Ellie had written down all of their vitals and Sarah stayed close to Penny. "Well, the good news is that you're all ok." Ellie said to them.

"What's the bad news, Ellie?" Penny asked.

"The bad news is... You have got yourself all worked up today, Penny. I think tomorrow should be your day off."

Ellie sat down in her chair and moved closer to where they were all sitting and then Sarah looked at Ellie. Ellie can see the look in her eyes. "Hey... Sarah... It's ok... You're ok... No one's gonna hurt you. I promise. Ok?" Ellie said calmly to her.

"Ok... Will Uncle Sam talk to Norman?"

"I'm sure he will. What you need is a warm Christmas dinner and after that once you get home, you will need plenty of rest. I know Norman shouldn't have done that, but he just likes to do that for fun. Ok? And if you didn't like it, maybe next time just talk to him about it and then he'll probably stop. Ok?"

"Alright, Ellie..."

"Come on... Let's go and have ourselves some food. I hear that there's a turkey for Christmas Dinner."

"One of my favorites." James chimed cheerfully.

"I bet there's Pumpkin pie." Sarah added.

Ellie, Sarah, James, and Penny had then left the medical room and Ellie had the papers for Helen to hang onto in case something happens and they need to go to Newtown Hospital. They saw Bronwyn and Charlie out by the doorway and Ellie told them what happened with the twins and Penny.

Upstairs,

Sam had found Norman by the TV and he was watching Basketball from America (NBA). Norman looked behind him and then he paused for a moment. "Hello, Sam. Uh... Care to join me and watch some NBA Basketball?" Norman asked.

"Um... No thanks, Norman. I just came here to talk to you about Sarah and James."

"Are they ok, Sam?"

"They're fine, Norman. Hannah told me what happened. She told me something about a snow monster. Is that right?"

"Yeah. Why?"

"Well, I just heard from Hannah that you might've scared Sarah and James after you told them about it while playing hide and seek."

"I did? Oh no..."

"Norman... All sorts of things can often scare people and it's a good idea not to scare them like that. This might've wasted a lot of the Fire Service's time. What would happen if Sarah and James had really been in danger? We wouldn't have found them and made the rescue."

"I'm sorry, Fireman Sam..."

"Well, at least no one else is hurt. Everyone is safe. It was a good job Penny found them. Come on, Norman... Let's go and enjoy our Christmas Dinner."

Norman followed Sam down to the garage and the turkey was still warm enough to eat and then Ellie, Sarah, Penny, and James were waiting for them and everyone was at the table. Chief Fire Officer Boyce was also at the table too after Station Officer Steele invited him.
