Winx X Saber Dragon Fire Rider
ESKK: Well here we are a new chapter let's begin shall we.
(Start Forest Magix)
The family appeared in a forest upon a dirt road in a pile. It took a moment to regain their baring's but when they did the first thing they saw was a school in the distance. "So... we in Magix?" Mike asked shocked to see it was real while they began walking trots the school with Ico padding along.
"Yep!" Stella said cheerfully taking pride in her school. "As you can see, that is Alfea over there!" She said while pointing at the school in question.
"So that's the school for fairies..." Flare said as he gazed at the school. He then looked around and saw it was the only school for miles it seems. "And it seems that Red Fountain isn't nearby." Flare said hoping he didn't have to walk 20 some miles to get there.
"All schools are separate." Stella answered for Flare making him raise a brow.
"Ok why?" Flare asked as Ico padded near the young Kamen Rider.
"Makes things safer that way. Sorry if you two had to be separated like that." Stella said as she didn't think it would affect them that much.
"It's fine..." Flare said as he shakes his head to ease Stella a bit. "It's just... this is the first time me and Bloom ever go to separate schools." Flare said as he smiled a bit.
"Well, maybe this could be an opportunity to see how well we can do without each other." Blooms aid and thus Flare had a teasing grin.
"Yeah in about a week I'm probably going to be running back here." Flare said to which Bloom pushed her brother with an annoyed look on her face.
"Jerk!" She scolded while pushing the now laughing boy.
"You two do need each other..." Vanessa said worried for her kids. "Who could keep my daughter safe and my son from getting himself in trouble again?" Vanessa said as Flare tended to draw problems torts him like a moth to a fire.
"Don't worry about it." Bloom said before she gestured her hands to the blonde. "I have Stella to protect me when you're not around, and Flare have the Specialist guys to watch over him. If they allow it, we could visit each other." Blooms aid as she had more to add to get back at Flare. "Plus I'm sure those Specialists will keep Flare from starting another chemical fire." Bloom teased and thus Flare glared at her.
While glaring Flare growled a bit before he retaliated. "One time and you still don't let me hear the end of it!" Flare yelled as one accident was all it took for him to be labeled.
"Well, that could be manageable." Mike said ignoring Flare's response to the great Science fire as he walked forward towards Alfea. "I think we wasted enough time here, couldn't afford to be late." Mike began but was cut off as he bumped into something akin to an invisible wall that knocked him down. "What the?" He asked as he tried to figure out what he hit.
Vanessa comes up and move her hand forward only for said wall to stop it. "What is this?" Vanessa asked as she was confused about this.
Though, Bloom moved on through just fine. "What are you talking about?" Bloom asked as Flare was tempted to try it himself when he saw Ico and Kiko get through no problem.
"Oh right, forgot about that." Stella said as she remembered that bit of information. "There is this magical barrier to keep certain things out. Such as monsters and... Non-magi. Sorry about not telling you about that earlier." Stella said as Flare sighed in annoyance.
"Does this apply to other schools too?" Flare asked letting it be for as long as he could.
"Umm... yeah." Stella said with a sigh realizing the mistake here. "Kind of pointless bringing your parents here, huh?" Stella said as Flare opted to let it be for now.
"It's fine." Mike said as he was oddly ok with it. "We do want to see this realm of Magix for ourselves and to see our children off before we go home. And we pretty much got one of those things done." Mike said trying to lighten the mood.
"Don't worry, we'll call you guys as soon as after the orientation is done." Bloom said as she walked up to her parents and Flare.
"And we will visit you guys." Flare added before he sighed a bit. "Guess this is goodbye for now?" He said feeling like a kid heading off to university.
Both parents pulled their children in for a group hug to which they happily returned. "We'll miss you two." Mike said before he let the twins go.
"Stay safe, ok?" Vanessa added with her hands on each of their shoulders wanting them to be safe and healthy.
"We'll miss you too!" Bloom replied but Flare had to be real with them.
"And staying safe...?" Flare began as he was scratching the back of his head. "No promises, sadly." Flare said and thus Mike had to remind Flare.
"Flare don't live up to your name and start another fire please." Mike said and Flare glared at his father.
"ONE TIME!" Flare repeated himself as he only caused that fire ONCE. Any other fires was anyone's game after the one he started.
"Don't get hurt too much ok?" Vanessa said with a sigh knowing her son learned his lesson the first time he caused the fire.
"Alright." Flare said with a nod before getting an idea. "Besides, it could be the boot camp that you guys considered sending me to." Flare said knowing he avoided a place like that by a hair on his chin.
"But we worry about your safety too much, I remember." Mike said as for him it was with Bloom and for Vanessa it was with Flare. "Sorry, we've sort of spoiled the two of you." Mike said as Flare scoffed a bit.
"I wish." Flare said as this got a laugh from the group at his joke.
"Not too much exactly." Bloom said as she laughed along as the family followed for a moment.
Once they all calmed down it was time to go. "Well, this is goodbye for now." Flare said as he picked up his suitcase and pulls out the medal. "See you around, sis!" Flare said as Ico padded next to Flare ready to go.
"See you!" Bloom bid farewell with a wave.
Flare waved back as he then inspects the medal. "Um, how do you work this thing?" He asked as he had no idea how this thing worked.
"That's easy." Stella pointed out as she gestured to it. "Just input a bit of your magic in it and it will work... well, like magic!" She explained and thus Flare thought about it.
"Ok, so like this?" Flare asked as he then concentrated on the medal as it began to glow dimly, "Hey, I think it's." Flare began before he was cut off when he was turned into a ball of light with Ico before it flew off to his destination.
(Scene Break Red Fountain)
At a gate path Flare appeared with Ico as he held the metal. "Working." Flare said he and his dog realized the medal did its job. "Eh?!" Flare asked as he then turned around to see a building akin to a grand fortress behind him. He looked around and saw he was on a bridge with either side of him being filled with Students all of whom were male like him. They entered the gate to what Flare figured was Red Fountain and in turn began to get a bad feeling.
"Oh crap this is going to be a military school." Flare realized as he began to think he made a horrible mistake. He and Ico looked at each other and both agreed silently that he walked into this so he might as well make the most of it. "Well no turning back now." Flare said as he began to walk to the gate to enter his new school. But as Flare approached the front Gate he was soon stopped by what he assumed was an instructor.
"Excuse me, but I can't let you through unless your name in on the registration." The Teacher said while stopping Flare and Ico.
"Ah- Oh! Um..." Flare stuttered as he realized that he technically speaking he didn't register to this place, Sky just told him to come here after all. "Well, actually I-" Flare began but was then saved by the bell.
"He's with me." Sky said as the brunette came into view walking towards the instructor. "I'm supposed to take him to the headmaster." Sky said and thus Flare was grateful for the assist by Sky.
"Oh. Prince Sky." The instructor turned to Sky, before he then turned back at Flare. "Very well, you may pass. But I'm keeping an eye on you." The Teacher said to which Flare
"Y-yes sir!" Flare stammered before he then passes on through the gate.
(Inside the School)
Once Flare was inside it didn't take long for Sky to start speaking. "Glad that you can make it." Sky said as Flare nodded while following him with Ico.
"Well... what did your headmaster say?" The Red head asked as he looked to Sky. After all if said headmaster declined to let him in he at least needed a way back home.
"He agreed to see you after our report." Sky replied which was good news thus far. "What seemed to catch his attention is when we told him about that Book you have there." Sky said and thus Flare got worried a bit.
"Oh." Flare began with a flat tone. "Does he know something about it?" Flare asked as that was either really good or really bad.
"Maybe." Sky shrugged to this as he looked to Ico. "He just told me to bring you to him." Sky said and thus he decided to change the subject. "Your dog though he's well trained I got to say." Sky said as Flare smirked no doubt remembering how Ico bit the monster the other night.
"Yeah Ico was my attempt to one up my sister with pets but we bonded real close, didn't we boy." Flare gushed the last part to Ico who then barked in response to Flare who gave him head pats.
(Later)
Several minutes later, the duo walked into a large room with a desk at the back. Sitting behind it was an elderly man with his grey hair combed back, and behind him was a window that allowed him to watch over the entire academy. "I brought him, Headmaster Saladin." Sky said once they were inside the room.
The headmaster nodded to sky and was ready to being the meeting. "You may leave us now." Saladin said to which Sky nodded before he went out the door that he closed behind him. Saladin then turned to Flare and gestured to the seats in front of him. "Have a seat." Saladin offered and in turn Flare nervously sets his suitcase beside the chair as he sat on it while Ico padded over and sat on the other side. "Your name is Flare, correct?" The headmaster of Red Fountain asked the red head.
"Y-yes sir." Flare answered as he wondered why he was so nervous about this.
Saladin nodded to the young man from Earth "And I heard that you have a book in your possession that grants you a power in a form of a sword. Would you show it to me?" He asked and thus Flare saw they were off on the right track... probably.
"Um, sure!" Flare complied as he opened up his suitcase to take out his SworDriver before he proceeded to detach his Brave Dragon Book from the belt loop he made for it prior. He then sets them both on the table before him and for Saladin to see.
Saladin's eyes go wide as he almost springs out of his chair before composing himself. "This is... where did you get them from?" Saladin asked as Flare swore the old man looked like he saw a ghost.
"The sword?" Flare asked as he looked to Rekka. "Last night actually when I used the Book's powers. As for the Book itself? Actually, since as long as I can remember." Flare said as he honestly didn't know where the book originally came from.
"I see..." The headmaster said before he set his elbows on his desk and interlocked his hands together. "Boy, do you know what they are?" Saladin asked as he looked to Flare.
"The sword called itself the 'Seiken SworDriver', and the Book is titled 'Brave Dragon'." Flare said as he decided to be honest. "Beyond that not much. Why?" Flare asked as he was lost beyond the weapon and books basics.
"This Book, is called a Wonder Ride Book." The elderly man replied with a tone of nostalgia. "This belonged to the previous Saber before you." He said to which Flare suspected that Saladin may have known the Saber before him personally.
"Saber?" Flare asked as he was also shocked to learn there was another one his predecessor apparently.
"The name of the Crimson Knight that wields Rekka, the Sword of Flames." Saladin said as he tapped at Rekka's crimson hilt. "He... was lost when the Ancestral Witches attacked Domino roughly two decades ago." He said clearly showing a sense of loss over it.
"Um sorry not sure on either of those." Flare said as he looked to Saladin to which he chuckled a bit.
"Oh, right. They said that you are from Earth. Excuse me." Saladin apologized over his own blonder before he began to explain. "The Ancestral Witches were known to be the most powerful witches in history. They were also notorious for their mad ambition and hunger for power, thus set out to conquer the Magical Universe. Domino was one of the worlds they tried to take. They failed in taking it completely after being stopped by its princess and Saber. In fury... they froze the entire planet before they perished." Saladin said as the nostalgia and sad tone returned to the old man.
"It sounds like they have taken it over already." Flare said as that what it sounded like to him at least.
"They may have cursed the planet, but they have lost what they have been looking for on that world." Saladin corrected as he looked to Flare. "Either way, no one could find their remains. As even the Wonder Ride Book that Saber had wielded had been lost as well. Until now that is. In your possession." Saladin said and thus Flare began to grow worried that he had to return this to their proper owners now.
"Does that mean I have to...?" Flare asked as he hesitated to finish that sentence. He honestly had no problem returning it to their proper owners even if it means he had to go home as the result.
"No." Saladin said as he pushed Rekka and the Book back towards Flare easing his mind while doing so. "It reacted to you and lent you its power for a reason. If I were to take it and gave it to someone else, it may won't work on them." Saladin said and thus Flare had to ask.
"Sorry sir but how do you know so much about this?" Flare asked as he looked to Saladin with confusion.
"There is a sect of warriors who wields Wonder Ride Books such as you, Thorn." Saladin began to explain. "They call themselves the Sword of Logos." He began to which Flare was no wow interested in hearing more. "Before you ask who they are, I can tell you that they seek to restore and protect a tome and keep it out of the hands of those who wishes to use it to fulfil their selfish ambitions. The Book of Ancients. A powerful book that contains everything from the magical universe's history; myths, creatures, stories, science, technology, and the evolution of civilization." Saladin said as Flare could tell this book was apparently a big deal.
"You said this Sword of Logos was intending to restore it." Flare said as he could not help point something out. "Has it been broken?" He asked with concern over it.
"Why yes." Saladin said with a grimly not. "A traitor in their order tried to take it for themselves long, long ago." He explained the story as much as he could. "But as a result, its pages were scattered." He began before he then taps on Brave Dragon. "As the Wonder Ride Books." He finished to which Flare understood whoever can gather all the Wonder Ride Books can restore the Book of the Ancients. I could have a chat with their leader about you. You'll know when he will call for you." He offered and thus Flare could handle that.
"Alright, I guess..." Flare said before he started to ask. "And were you a part of that order?" Flare asked with curiosity.
"Well..." Saladin leans back into his chair with a chuckle. "No but I did help them from time to time." He began to speak to which he then sighed longingly for his glory days. "But alas my fighting days have long since passed, young man. It's now up to the new generation to fight in their stead. Which is why I'm admitting you to Red Fountain." He said making Flare go wide eyed at this.
"Just like that!?" Flare said with a surprised tone while shooting up from his seat.
"Just like that." The Headmaster nodded chuckling at Flare's enthusiasm. "You need to get stronger to gather more Wonder Ride Books to restore the Book of Ancients. And to protect them from those who are also gathering them for their own twisted purposes." He said to which Flare recalled what the Hound has said before, and its intention on using lives to fuel their plan for domination.
Clenching his fists, Flare knew the headmaster was right. "To be honest... I want to use this to protect the people I care about. I think... without training I wouldn't be strong enough to protect them in the long run. So... train me, Headmaster Saladin!" Flare said as he leaned on the desk accepting this training.
The old headmaster smiles as he nodded in approval to aid Flare as he was reminded of another whom had the same drive as Flare does. "Good. Your training starts tomorrow. Head to the armory to receive your uniform and phantoblade. Latter of which is your standard issued weapon. Your team captain will meet you there. Also small reminder any pets are the owner's responsibilities." Saladin said as he gestured to Ico and thus Flare smiled to this.
"I know my parents say the same thing." Flare said earning a small chuckle from Saladin.
"Of course well then have a good day, Flare." HE said but before Flare left he had one last thing to say. "And welcome to Red Fountain." He said and thus Flare smiled and walked off.
(Later at the Armory)
After Flare received directions he was walking down the hall passing by many students on the way. "Well this place is huge." Flare said as he walked around admiring the school a bit. As Flare passed by the students he eventually arrived at the armory and was in turn met with Sky waiting for him. "It seems that Saladin assigned you to my squad, Flare." Sky said as he stood up from a bench.
"Sky?" Flare asked as this startled him a bit. "We just keep running into each other don't we?" Flare said in a joking manner as he looked to Sky.
"Seems that way." Sky said with a shrug but then got back on task. "But I believe that you are assigned to us for a reason. Come on." He began before tosses a folded uniform at Flare for him to catch it. "Here's your uniform. Wear it at all times during training and in missions. And..." Sky said before the then gestured to the wall of weapons. "Pick your weapon of choice." He said and thus Flare looked at them all.
In response Flare walked up to the wall picks out a hilt and then activates it for a red blade to materialize from it. He gave it a few test swings and noted how it felt like his Rekka in terms of grip and use. "Oh yeah." Flare said with a grin having a feeling he was going to like it here.
(Later)
Alas all good things have a small dislike. For Flare it was currently part of the collar he was pulling on. "Not to sound... picky, but why do we have to wear these things? It doesn't look very... protective." Flare said as he wasn't a fan of uniforms to begin with but this was questionable as combat material.
Sky chuckled no doubt hearing it and delivering it many times before. "It may not look like it, but the fabrics made from a special material that makes it work as well as any plated armor." Sky explained to which Flare had to wait and see for now. "We are in the barracks of Red Fountain at the moment, so this is our team's dorm." Sky said and in turn he opened the door, to show the new recruit some familiar faces setting up the room as they unpacked their things.
Riven then notices the two and sighed in frustration "Oh great. He actually agreed to attend here." Riven said and thus Flare glared at the guy holding his tongue from lashing out as Ico padded on in unnoticed.
"Well, let me reintroduce you to my team." Sky began with a sigh apologetic over Riven. "The guy who spoke up right now is Riven." Sky said to which Flare figured as much.
Riven scoffed in response as Sky then turned to the spectacle wearing young man. "And he is Timmy." Sky introduced to which Timmy smiled to meeting the new face.
"Nice to meet you." Timmy said as he came up to shake Flare's hand. "And you are Flare as I recall?" Timmy said and thus Flare nodded.
"Yeah, I am." Flare nodded to which Flare found Timmy to be nice enough.
"Great. I find your equipment quite interesting, Flare." Timmy said making Flare go wide eyed.
"Wait what?!" Flare asked shocked Timmy asked such a thing.
"Phrasing." Riven snorted no doubt having to remind him on a daily basis.
Timmy rolled his eyes and fixed himself. "I'm talking about his weapon he used fighting that hound last night." Timmy said before he turned to Flare who was sighing in relief. "Mind if I study it once in a while?" Timmy asked to which Flare thought it over.
"Ok... when I am not using it, I guess." Flare said with a shrug after regaining himself.
"Fantastic!" Timmy said with glee looking forward to it.
Then Sky turned to another blonde man making his bed. "And this, is my squire. Brandon." Sky introduced making Flare raise a brow.
"Squire?" Flare asked before he remembered. "Oh right. You're a prince right." Flare said remembering what the teacher from earlier said.
Sky nodded in response with a smirk. "May not look like it, right? Get that a lot." Sky said no doubt used to this.
Brandon then notices Flare and in turn recognized him. "Hey there! You're that guy from last night!" Brandon said as he walked up to Flare, "Nice to see you being part of the team!" Brandon said and thus Flare nodded to this.
"Yeah, some of us are." Riven said as he rolls his eyes making Flare tempted to lash out.
"Hey, come on man." Brandon responded with a sigh trying to get Riven to lighten up.
"Sorry if I am not too thrilled on having an Earthling Bumpkin being a part of this squad!" Riven replied to which Flare glared at him. "He only beat that dog thing with a special magic sword! He's probably dead weight without it!" Riven said as Flare looked ready to let one loose.
"That's why I wanted him to attend here." Sky said as he, folded his arms. "So he could train to not be dead weight." Sky said and thus Flare sighed.
"Well Sky made a good call, I mean not like all of us can be dragged around by a dog so expertly." Flare responded to which the guys went wide eyed remembering that bit from the fight. This got a few chuckles from the group at the sick burn Flare just delivered.
"Ok let's cool our jets." Sky said getting between them before something could happen.
"Fine!" Riven growled out as he threw up his arms upward as he turned to walk away.
Once he was gone Flare glared at the guy before asking something. "So, it's just the four of you?" Flare asked, turning to the prince with his question.
"There were five, the former squad leader." Sky replied before he began to explain that story. "He graduated last year. He was a good guy and great leader... it's upsetting to see him go." Sky said and thus Flare nodded to this.
"I see..." Flare said while looking to the side.
"Come on, let me show you to your new room so you can unpack your things." Sky said starting to lead him as Flare follows to where he will be sleeping. "After that, I'll show you around the academy." Sky said and thus Flare looked ready to start his schooling here. And also cause a little mischief here and there mainly for those who deserve it.
(Scene Break later that evening)
After the tour had concluded, it was nighttime at Red Fountain and thus curfew and all that. Flare was currently sleeping on his bed just fine in preparations for tomorrow until he suddenly woke up. The call of nature was clear and thus Flare began to make his way to the bathroom. Still in his sleeping garments, he walked out of the dorm and into the hallway to locate said bathroom.
"If I remember where Sky showed me..." Flare said drowsily as he stumbles around while rubbing his eyes a bit. Eventually he reached his destination, did his business, and proceeded walked on out. On the way back to the dorms, he walked past a glass door leading to a balcony outside... and noticed a strange individual. This odd looking man was wearing a noble outfit that was bright pink even in the darkness of night, and was seen to have green hair and a moustache. Thing was the odd looking guy was just... sitting at a table pouring himself a cup of tea.
"Bonne Lecture! My friend!" He greeted as Flare looked lost.
Flare looked at the sides and when he saw no one else he then turned to the stranger pointing to himself. "Are you talking to me?" Flare asked trying to make sense of this.
Paying no attention, the man continued to speak. "Getting adjusted to the new magical world, a boy attends a military academy to learn the secret of his Mysterious Book that gave him strange powers! However, he is unaware of the danger his sister is in the city nearby! An ogre, servant of a trio of evil witches, sent to steal a powerful magic staff from her new friend! When learning of this new information, the boy rushes off to save her! But will he get here in time?" He said almost narrating things as Flare was wide eyed by this.
"Wait!" Flare snapped out of his drowsiness from hearing this. "Bloom is in what now!? Where is-!?" Flare began as he turned to the man, only to see that he was no longer there. "What's going on? Is this some kind of weird dream?" Flare asked as, he scrambles to find a way out of the academy. "Damn it! How do I even get to some city in this short amount of time!? Furthermore, where is this city!?" He asked trying to find an exit and maybe a map with a ride.
But in his panicked state Flare failed to see where he was going and in turn bumped into someone. Despite him being shorter than him, Thorn ended up as the one who fell to ground. "Have trouble sleeping?" The voice of Saladin was heard as Flare went wide eyed to this.
"H-headmaster!?" Flare yelped shocked to see, Saladin before him in the middle of the night which startled the young man. In response Flare stood back up and stood straight to speak to the headmaster. "Sorry about this, but I have to get to a city as quickly as possible! I will take any punishment you are willing to give me after sneaking out, but I have to save my sister-!" Flare began but Saladin knew Flare was being frantic right now.
"Calm down." Saladin said calmly while holding up his hand. "Are you referring to Magix's capital city?" He asked and thus Flare had an idea on where to go.
"Y-yes. But-!" Flare began but was again cut off by Saladin.
"Your sister must be important to you, yes?" The elderly man said as he looked to Flare. "Normally I would say I will send someone to handle it, but if she is that important to you... I believe she has some help does she?" He asked which sounded odd to Flare.
"...I...I swore to myself to protect her no matter what. No matter where I am." Flare said as he remembered that childhood promise he made so long ago.
"I understand. But you are most likely not ready enough to head down there on your own." The Headmaster said much to Flare's disappointment. "Head back to your room, boy. I will send someone in to keep her safe. I promise." He said as Flare began to clenches his fists. "You are still new here, Thorn." Saladin continued knowing that Flare was showing traits similar to his predecessor. "And we cannot afford to lose a person like you." He said as his voice had a hidden edge of loss to it.
Flare was quiet for a moment but alas still gave the answer. "Alright." Flare said and in turn Saladin nodded.
"Good. Your sister will be fine." Saladin said with a nod and thus took his leave.
Flare passes the headmaster by and head to his room. But when he got to his bed, he noticed a black book with a bike on the cover titled, "Diago Speedy". He picked it up and inspect it and when the gears in his head began turning the grinned. He may not have known how it got here, but it was a nice surprise for him. And with this the new rider now had a plan as he looked out the window.
(Later)
Using a makeshift rope out of covers, Flare dressed to go out made it to ground level and snuck out to the front gate. Using some device Timmy has given him earlier in the day, he attempts to type in the coordinates to Magix's capital city. Thank God for Timmy because Flare managed to use this same device to call his parents when he saw he had no signal in this world on his phone. He then took out the strangely shaped book and inspected it. "Now how does this work?" He said before he remembered the Brave Dragon and had an idea. "It's a book, then does that mean?" Flare asked as he then took out his Driver and equips it. Once he did this he then slid in the Book on the slot on his right, and then pulls out Rekka from its sheath.
"ROARING ENGINE, STARTED UP! DIAGO SPEEDY!"
The book then, much to Flare's shock, flew out of the buckle as it enlarged itself and unfolded into a motor bike that landed in front of him. As Flare saw this he nearly yelled in joy when he saw it. "Thank you magic just what I wanted!" Flare cheered when he saw his new set of wheels. He then got onto the saddle and revved the engine before riding off to Magix to save his sister from whatever danger was after her.
(Scene Break Magix)
The City of Magix the capital city of this dimension was not a city one expected in a realm of magic. For starters it looked more like a futuristic city then anything that was magic related. They had hover cars, shopping plazas, and even traffic stops. What made it more off was that magic fueled about all aspects of it to the point that you can literally make your own parking spot. Bloom was visiting since she didn't have classes on her first day which was also how she constructed a lie with Stella to have her enrolled.
Bloom of course had learned not to long ago that her phone was apparently a dinosaur in these parts and if her math is right Flare learned this as well. Hence why she was now at the phone booth calling her parents. "Hello, mom?" Bloom began as she called her home phone from said Phone Booth once she heard her mother answer the phone.
"Bloom? Oh! Glad you finally called!" Vanessa said from the other end as she was happy to head her from her daughter. "How was your new school?" She asked no doubt wanting to hear all the details.
"It's great actually!" Bloom began as she regaled her mother of what has happened thus far. "I'm sharing a dorm with Stella and three other girls." Bloom began and thus began to chuckle a bit. "And get this apparently Flare isn't the only one who caused a chemistry incident I won't go into details but we met her yesterday." Bloom laughed and thus Vanessa got the memo.
"Well at least he won't be the target of that inside joke." Vanessa said knowing how Flare hated being reminded of that incident. "So how are your classes?" Her mother asked curious about what magical classes were like.
"Well, the classes start tomorrow morning but don't worry I'll keep you posted alright." Bloom said as she spoke into the phone.
"Oh. Well, just to let you know Flare called us earlier and it seems he's doing fine." Vanessa said as she spoke to her daughter. "He did say hasn't run into trouble... yet. Hopefully it stays that way." Vanessa said knowing her son did have a history of acting without thinking... though most of it was with good intentions.
Bloom held back her laughter a bit knowing how her brother tended to be. "Knowing him, unlikely." Bloom said teasing Flare a bit even if he was not here at the moment. Just then Bloom trailed off as she noticed a familiar large figure pass by her much to her horror. "Sorry for cutting this call short, but Stella and the others are calling me. Call you tomorrow!" Bloom hastily said before she hung up the phone and got to work on following after Knut.
As he began to follow after him she made sure to stay hidden... at least until a flash clouded her vision with dots. Once she regained herself she saw an odd young man with ivory black hair, a duster with a casual suit underneath, and a camera around his neck. "I wouldn't go after them if I were you." He said with a sort of bored tone that had a hint of playfulness. "Trust me as you are you'll only get hurt." He said off handedly as Bloom was left confused.
"I don't know what you're talking about." Bloom said as she wondered if he was an alley.
"Sure you were, let me guess that guy went after a friend of yours and now you hope to figure out why by following him." He said shocking Bloom there. "No need to answer, just giving you a fair warning is all." He said before walking over to a motorcycle with an odd design. "Not like I have the time to stop you, I'm running a bit late with meeting someone." The young man said confusing Bloom. "All I can say is that you should do what you feel is right and hope for the best if and when it goes wrong." He said sounding like he's done stuff like this before.
"Um thanks I suppose." Bloom responded with confusion over this odd man.
"Wasn't trying to help you per say just helping out the rookie your related too." The young man said as he then boarded his motorcycle and went for his helmet. "Anyway do you know where the Doughnut shop is, my friend is waiting for me there?" He asked and thus Bloom did in fact see said shop.
"Um yeah just go down this way and take a left, can't miss it." Bloom said as the man nodded.
"Thank you." He said but then Bloom just had to ask.
"By the way... who are you?" Bloom asked as she looked to the man in question.
"Me?" He began with a chuckle before looking at the red haired fairy. "Just a passing through Kamen Rider." He continued before pointing his hand torts Bloom with a card in his hand. "Remember that." He said before tossing the card to Bloom who then caught it before the man put his helmet on and drove off.
"Um ok..." Bloom said before looking at the card she got and saw it was a business card of some sort. "Aeon Riddle Professional Photographer Journey of Decades Photography, Diagon Alley London?" Bloom asked as she wondered if that guy was also from Earth like she and Flare were. In turn she opted to put it away to look into it at a later date to see what it lead to. For now she had a job to focus on and that was to figure out why that Ogre was here to begin with.
Continuing to follow the Ogre, going down a few alleyways as Bloom closely at him, as she said, "I'm sure it's him, the creature that attacked us in Gardenia."
Soon enough The ogre stop at the edge of the alleyway looking in the open area looking at Bloom's friend and roommates as Bloom herself said, "Ugh, he's watching my friends."
She backs away from the corner to take a small breather before looking back to see the ogre is now gone as she said, "Where is he now? I must find him!"
(Scene break)
The Ogre came into a dirty alleyway before stopping in front of a shady area where three female figures were seen, no doubt they were witches, as they step forward, one girl with white hair came up to him, no doubt it was icy as she said, "Well, Knut?"
Bloom was hiding behind some trashcan as she had found the Ogre again and follow him into the area, as Knut soon spoken up saying while pointing down the alleyway where Bloom quickly duck down to avoid being seen as the Ogre said, "Err... I saw the blonde girl with the magic scepter in the square and, uh... she was with her friends
"Phew! That was close..." Bloom said as the white hair girl said with determination, "We've got to get that scepter or else we may have to rely on Megiddo again."
Suddenly the girl with the dark green hair with light green highlight sense something, or someone nearby as she walk over closely to the other girl and whispers, "Sisters, we are being watched."
The two witches were surprise by this and wonder who it was but before they could say anything, the girl suddenly said while making a copy of herself, "May I take care of it?"
From the distant as Knut was blocking Bloom's view of what was going on as she whispers, "Move, you big oaf, I can't see a thing."
"Now, all I have to do is disappear," the green hair girl said as the original vanish and the copy stay in her place while giving a small laugh as the invisible girl said to her copy, "And she'll stay here!"
Soon enough Knut move out of the way showing the three girl there as Bloom said, "Ah, that's better!"
Bloom peek her head up from the trashcans as she watch what was happening, but nothing was going on at the moment as they were just standing there, with the real green hair girl suddenly appeared behind bloom without her notice, as the girl cast a spell that soon blast at Bloom, knocking her forward before the group.
After that the group came up to Bloom as she recovers from that magical blast she took to see the three girls before her as Icy flicks at the copy making it vanish as she said, "So, did you like our little joke?"
"Turn around!" the 3rd girl said as Bloom did so to her shock to see the real one there as the green hair girl said, "Surprise!"
The girl walk back over next to her sisters as now they all stood before blood, the redhead girl raise her hair as she call forth her magic and said, "I am a fairy."
Bloom fire her magic to blast the three witches away but its dwindle out of existing before it could touch anyone as Icy said to her, "Ha! You call that magic? I'll show you magic.
The area was suddenly getting cold quickly as Bloom tried to run but ice shards stopped her before she could as Icy said, "Now that's magic."
The same girl who attack blood from behind use the same spell she did before and blast Bloom back while shattering the ice that held bloom as she said, "And that is magic."
Bloom landed hard on the ground as suddenly the last girl gather up a huge amount of magic to call forth a twister and send it at bloom, lifting her up into the air before falling back down, but blood manage to catch herself on the top of a building as she held on her dear life with the three witches laughs at her.
(At a Fountain)
"Where's Veranda? She should be back by now," Tecna said as she was being worry about their missing roommate as Flora said, "I don't know, maybe she got lost."
(Back at the alleyway)
Icy call upon her magic again and grab Bloom from the building as she said, "Get down here! I'm not done yet!"
She three Bloom over to a pile of boxes that broke Bloom's fall thankfully, but the three witches weren't playing nice with her as Icy came up to her as she said while raising her hands with ice appearing around bloom, "And now... The final touch!"
The ice encase Bloom as she was being levitated into the air as the ice soon cover her in an ice prison, with Icy smile to her work of art, placing her hand on it before scratching the ice as she said, "What a pity you had to meet us, sweet little fairy."
"Leave her alone!" Stella voice called out as the three witches and the ogre look to see the four fairies there to save the day as Stella went on saying, "Take us on instead!"
"Pathetic. Knut! They're all yours, have fun!" Icy said to Knut, as the ogre was a bit confuse a bit before his mind caught up and gotten into character as he growl before giving a roar that scared the girls.
The ogre charge at them quickly about to attack them, until the sound of a engine roar came forth, surprising everyone as they heard it, as over the wall behind the fairies, suddenly Flare on his bike as it suddenly called out, "DIAGO SPEEDY!"
Once Flare landed the tires of the bike skidded across the ground as he landed safely. Screeching to a halt Flare did a small spin before coming to a complete stop as he looked around. "Good I made it just in... time." Flare trailed off as he noticed that Bloom was frozen solid in a block of ice. "Bloom!" Flare cried out in shock as he was horrified to see his sister frozen solid like this. He then glared at Knut and the Witches while gritting his teeth to them. "What did you do to her!?" Flare yelled as he glared at his foes.
"Oh? Is she that important to you? Icy began to taunt as she smirked at the young rider. "A relative? Sister perhaps?" She asked but Flare saw she was taunting him. "Though seeing as how similar you are to her it's probably twin siblings." She further taunted as Flare clenched the handlebars of his Diago Speedy. "Careful now, you better think carefully and." She began but was then cut off by Flare who began to rev up the engine.
Needless to say Flare was the farthest from being pleased with what he saw. He then looked torts Knut as the Ogre swore there was a raging fire with a dragon roaring inside of Flare's eyes. Flare then proceeded to charge at Knut and the witches much to their surprise.
"Wait is he going to ram him?" A violet wearing Fairy asked in shock of such a reckless plan.
"Is he insane!?" Darcy asked shocked to see someone this reckless while using Knut as a flesh shield.
But instead of ramming into Knut Flare jumped onto his bikes saddle before leaping off and in turn allowed the bike to hit Knut. Knut was hit and knocked down by the bike as he was shock Flare did such a reckless move there. While he was in midair Flare activated his book to begin transforming.
"BRAVE DRAGON!"
"Henshin!" He called out and thus when Flare landed he was back to being in his Rider form after slashing his sword out. Once he landed Flare pointed his weapon at Knut glaring at him ready to cause him and those witches harm. He then slashed the sword out causing a wave of flames to flow forth which proceeded to melt through the ice freeing his twin sister. Bloom fell down once she was freed from the ice as Flare was just happy she was ok and unharmed. Stella of course caught her and laid her against the wall in a safer spot.
"What happened?" Flare asked as he looked to the scene clearly wanting answers.
Just then an Asian looking Fairy spoke up. "Veranda was frozen solid by those witches." She said and thus Flare was confused for a minute.
"Veranda?" He asked before he ignored it. "If that's the case then... if that's the case they barked up the wrong tree." Flare said as he glared at his new foes.
Icy stepped back as she glared at the man who nearly caused vehicular manslaughter. "Well get him!" Icy ordered at Knut who in response bore his teeth and charges at Flare. But alas it would be for nothing as Flare slashed with an upper swing and flung the ogre over the witches' heads and landing behind them.
"Come on I don't have time to deal with the grunts." Flare said pointing his blade at the Witches challenging him to fight him.
"Useless." Icy growled as she glare at Flare who by then was approaching them.
"Hold on you wouldn't hit a couple of girls, wouldn't you?" Darcy asked as Flare glared at her.
"Normally no but I'm a supporter of gender equality, so if you're gonna fight like a man then be punched like a man." Flare said to which he really hated people who only wanted the parts of equality that benefitted them. Seriously you either take all of it or none of it you can't pick and choose what you want for such things. Flare then rushed at the Witches intent on taking them down where he proceeded to drive his fist into Darcy's stomach sending her flying into a trash can. When Darcy landed she was seen clutching her stomach in pain from the strike.
Icy's and Stormy's eyes darted between Darcy and Flare in shock to what they saw. "That was a big mistake boy." Icy growled as Stormy then raised her hands towards him preparing to use her magic.
"Last time I checked, metal conducts lightning, hero." Stormy said as sparks flew from her hands torts Flare's sword, Rekka. Electricity in turn flowed through the sword and into Flare electrocuting him as he in turn cried out in pain from this. Flare fell to his knees from the pain as his body began to sizzle from the attack. "Not so tough now, are you?" Stormy taunted with a smirk torts the Kamen Rider.
Flare growled out as he then gripped his sword tight before swinging out a fire wave at the Witches making them duck and cover. "You were saying?" Flare asked before he charged into the fight. With a roar Flare leaped at them with his sword raised over his head ready to take them down.
But just then a violet flame struck Flare square on the chest, pushing him back and causing him to roll on the ground. When Flare regained himself the Fairies were shocked at what they saw while Flare looked around for the source of it. "What was that!?" Flare asked wondering if there was a Fire Witch hidden nearby.
Just then stepping into view, a violet yet sinister knight appeared before them. His breastplate was grey and was seen to had scratches and dents on it. Clearly this man went through many battles, as it was noticed that his pauldron appeared to be a dragon head similar to Flare's but his was wearing a visor over its eyes as well as the knight's helmet with an eerie red glow emitted from the slits under a golden jagged blade tip of a horn.
"About time you got here, Caliber!" Icy growled as she turned to the newly arrived knight. Clearly she did not want the backup but the mission held importance over one's personal pride.
"I have always been here. Watching." The knight now known as Caliber began as he pulled his sword from the side of his belt. The weapon was noticed to be similar to the one Flare had but unlike Rekka Caliber's sword had a golden double edge that was jagged so it was clear that design could allow the wielder to rip out the guts out of anyone it impales. "Until Saber appears." He said as he showed himself ready for battle.
"Saber?" Flare began before he remembered the previous wielder of this power. "Hold on, you know about this Book?" Flare asked as he looked to Caliber hoping for some answers.
"Brave Dragon once belonged to a warrior I respected as a worthy opponent." Caliber spoke looking to his sword a bit. "I wonder... if his successor is the same... or at least will be." He said as he then pointed the sword at Flare ready to fight him.
"Bring it!" Flare yelled as he then took a battle stance once more.
Caliber then looked to the Three Witches and saw they were in the way. "Go and get your own treated." Caliber said before glaring at Saber. "This one is mine." Caliber said as he wouldn't give them the chance if they refused.
"Fine." Icy growled out and thus began to drag Darcy and Stormy away to safety.
Flare then charged at Caliber and locked blades with him before he began to swing at him wildly. Alas Caliber easily parried every attack Flare sent at him before pushing him back. Caliber then spun and proceeded to kick Flare in the stomach knocking him back. Once this was done Caliber proceeded to swing his sword at Flare landing a blow and in turn caused sparks to shoot out form Flare's armor. The red knight then saw another attack coming and in turn used his arm guard to block the sword and even though it succeeded it was painful to him. Flare then proceeded to thrusts forward for his sword to hit Caliber's torso with flames bursting on impact.
Caliber was knocked back a bit as Flare smiled seeing Caliber can in fact be hurt. "Not bad..." Caliber began as he clutched his stomach with his arm. "But your lack of experience is apparent." He said while regaining himself no doubt analyzing Flare from start to finish. "You most likely never picked up a sword in your life." He said which was not that far off from the truth.
With a growl Flare swung his sword overhead upon the violet knight only for said Knight to parry it, leaving the young man open. In response Caliber began to slash up Flare and continued to comment on him. "Your swings, your movements, all too predictable." Caliber further taunted before kicking Flare back causing him to hit the wall. "It seems you only have been in meager fights." Caliber said while making his way torts Flare. "Paltry compared to the battles I have been through." Caliber said before grabbing Flare by the throat and lifting him off the ground. "You are young, reckless, and nowhere near to the one who once wielded the Sword of Flames. You are... disappointing." Caliber said and in turn the Fairies were shocked by all of this.
It had seemed Flare was winning at first only for this guy to show up and turn the tables on him. In a panic Stella realized Flare was in some deep trouble now. "FLARE!" Stella cried out in panic as Bloom also saw this.
"NO!" Bloom cried out also worried for her twin brother but it seems it would not be needed.
Flare proceeded to grab his opponents arm before slamming his head into Calibers. The blow forced Caliber to let Flare go while clutching his head and staggering back. Flare fell to the ground before getting up to see Caliber was trying to recover. Seeing his chance Flare sheathed Rekka before hitting the trigger on his weapon for the climax.
"READING FINISH!"
Flare then unsheathed the sword causing flames to wreathe over the blade.
"RAGING FIRE, UNLEASHED! DRAGON! SLASH: VOLUME ONE! FIRE!"
"Flaming Cross Slash!" Flare invoked and thus leaped upward and dove down on Caliber with his burning sword forward.
Caliber than managed to recover before he tapped the Book in his Driver.
"JAAKU DRAGON!"
In response violet flames burst forth from his arm to his sword as Caliber swung his blade against Flare's. Fires clash against each other until Caliber then knocked back the current Saber's attack and knocking him to the ground. Flare rolled to the ground when this happened but despite this still tried to get back up and fight on.
Caliber scoffed at his foe before he then took out another Book. "Seems you have hardly even grasp the type of power that the Seiken Swords can wield! Observe." He said before he then placed it over the tip of his sword.
"JACK AND THE BEANSTALK! HM, HM! FLASH LEARNING!"
Caliber swung his sword at Flare and in turn green projectiles covered in violet flames flew out at Flare. In response Flare instinctively batted them away causing said projectiles to hit the walls and ground.
"That was a close one...!" Flare panted happy he didn't get shot. But just then then he saw briar sprout from the spots where the projectiles hit and coils around his body restraining him. Soon Flare found these briars choking him when it latched around his neck.
Caliber chuckles as he walked up to the entangled Flare. "I'll be taking that Sword and Book now..." Caliber said as he reached for the Driver. Just then a beam of light hits his hand forcing him back from Flare.
"Leave him alone!" Stella yelled in anger as she glared at Caliber.
"Stella!" Flare struggled to say as the briar choked the life out of him.
"It's that girl with the scepter!" Icy called out when she saw Stella had entered the battle.
"Oh, you're still here." Caliber said while turning to Icy, rubbing his hand before he turned to face Stella. "Back away if you value your life. This doesn't concern you." Caliber said as he glared at the foe.
"On the contrary it does concerns me!" Stella yelled as Caliber sighed to this in annoyance.
"Heh." Caliber scoffed before pointing his sword at them. "Your funeral." He said but before he could do so gun fire was heard as it then hit him knocking him back. "WHAT?!" He asked as soon the area was filled with ominous footsteps.
"What?" Bloom asked as she looked to the source.
Coming calmly from behind the fairies was the boy Bloom met Aeon as he approached the foe. "Jeez." He said while walking forth. "I manage to make it in time and as I leave I walk in on this." He said sounding a bit tired from this. "I'm starting to get to old for this." He said scratching his head a bit.
"Where the heck did he come from?" Stormy asked as she saw the new arrival.
"Please just go he's too strong for you!" Bloom cried out as she got up and leaned on the wall for support.
"On the contrary you should fall back. As the Japanese would say, it falls to the Sempai to help his junior." Aeon said to which he pulled out a magenta collared belt buckle.
But Caliber saw otherwise... whoever this guy was he was powerful and could probably even give him a run for his money. "Impudent interloper, who do you think you are?" Caliber asked with his sword pointed at the new arrival as Aeon smirked and always loved when the bad guys asked him that.
"Me?" Aeon asked with a smirk on his face before putting the buckle to his waist forming a belt with some container on the left hip. He then opened it and pulled out a card from it before holding it in challenge to Caliber. "I'm just a passing-through Kamen Rider... remember that." He said much to everyone's shock over this supposed 'passing through, Kamen Rider's,' response. "Henshin!" He invoked and then inserted the card into the belt.
"KAMEN RIDE!"
Aeon then closed the belt activating the transformation for it.
"DECADE!"
Once the belt invoked this a total of 10 life sized cards appeared and formed up on Aeon transforming him into a black and magenta collared armored warrior with a black and white cross shape on his body. Caliber then took a battle stance and glared at Aeon recognizing him instantly. "So the infamous destroyer of worlds appears. The one they called Decade." Caliber said as he glared at Aeon or Decade.
"Jeez everyone seems to get that wrong." Decade said as he grabbed the item he pulled the card from and transformed it into a sword. "Well whatever no skin off my bones with what people seem to think of me." Decade said as he then took a battle stance ready to fight. The two riders then charged at each other and began a sword fight against each other. Despite looking younger Decade showed himself to have plenty of experience in combat as he swung his weapon against Caliber.
The two then clashed and tried to push the other back but ended up running to the side. Decade then pulled back and kicked Caliber away before switching his weapon to its gun form and fired it at Caliber. Caliber was knocked back by the attack before Decade went back to sword. "Before I forget." Decade said before he slashed the vines freeing Saber from his confines. Once Saber hit the ground he got back up and looked at Decade in shock.
"Thanks." Flare said shocked to see this happen.
"Don't mention it, rookie." Decade said before looking at Caliber who got back up.
"Interesting this may be worth my time after all." Caliber said as he then took the book out once more.
"Not this time!" Flare called out as he then sent a flame slash out at Caliber to stop him. The attack hit the Wonder Ride Book knocking it out of his hand much to Caliber's shock. As an added bonus the book bounced off the wall and to Flare's feet to which he rolled and grabbed it. "Score!" Flare called out as Caliber growled at Flare who now held the newly acquired Wonder Rider book.
"I won't let you use it!" Caliber called out while activating his book. When he saw this Decade quickly sprang into action to provide the rookie with some help.
"JAAKU DRAGON!"
Once more violet flames flowed forth from the Book as it began to take the form of a large dragon made of flames. It was so large that its wing span had to be folded to fit into the alleyway which was already started to feel crowded with Decade here.
Flare wide eyed to this knew they were in trouble now. "Oh crap!" Flare cursed but Decade went at it.
"Not so fast!" He called out taking out another card.
"FINAL ATTACK RIDE!"
He then closed it and activated the cards power.
"D-D-D-DECADE!"
Just then multiple cards showed up before Decade as the two riders got their attacks ready. "Get out of here I'll hold him off!" Decade called out as he prepared his attack.
"I'll get us out of here!" Stella called out as she transformed a ring on her finger into her Scepter. "Everyone get close to me!" She ordered and thus the two attacks began.
Decade jumped up and came down with a drop kick through each of the cards. "Dimension Kick!" He invoked as he came down upon Saber for the famous Rider Kick. With each card he passed his speed and power increased as he approached Caliber and his dragon.
"Dragon... Destruction!" Caliber invoked and thus he met Decades final attack head on. As the dragon fire swept across the alley, Flare quickly grabbed his sister before he leapt towards Stella with the other girls as she swings her staff to teleport them away from the area as it set aflame. When the two attacks met a huge explosion went off forcing even the Witches to escape the scene for their own safety.
(Scene Break nearby)
Flare and Stella were at a safer location as they were using their powers to warm up Bloom who was shivering. "Hey Bloom you're ok now." Flare said as Bloom looked to her twin brother.
"Flare... how did you know?" Bloom asked with concern as to how her brother knew she was in trouble.
Flare then had a quick reminder of the weirdo from before named Tassel but focused on his sister for now. "Doesn't matter, right now what does matter is your safety." Flare said as he then left the rest to Stella. In doing so he proceeded to pull his book out deactivating it causing the armor to dematerialize from his body.
"You know, for Earthlings you sure held your ground against people like them!" Stella praised as she looked to the group. "I mean, sure, you got beaten up by them, but you guys were brave standing up to them!" She said but Flare begged to differ as did Bloom.
"Not... exactly... Those girls are strong..." Bloom said realizing how outclasses she was there.
"And I could barely land a hit on that knight guy." Flare added as he knew whoever he was he was strong. "No doubt we'll run into them again..." Flare said knowing he had to be ready for when he does show up again.
"Well, you guys just have to work harder than!" Stella brushes it off despite the fact the only reason they escaped was because of Aeon.
Just then one of the three girls cleared her throat causing the princess to turn around to see the other three girls with her were all scowling.
"Care to explain?" Flora asked as she was not too happy. "About Bloom of Calisto?" Flora asked and thus Flare was at a lost.
"Calisto?" Flare asked before he then turned to Stella. "Stella what did you do?" He asked to which Stella knew she was in trouble.
"Um..." Stella began as she was nervously trying to find an exit.
"What. Did. You. Do!?" Flare shouts a bit as he wanted answers for what Stella apparently did.
"Wait, you didn't know?" The Asian girl named Musa asked as she looked to Flare.
"If I did, why would I ask?" Flare said as he began to panic a bit.
"I... may have stretched the truth on Bloom's background..." Stella began as she was twiddling with her fingers. "Having taken a name of a student that may nor may not will attend here..." She began and thus all was quiet for a moment.
But the moment then passed as Flare was wide eyed to what he heard. "WHAAAAT!?" Flare yelled as he was clearly not expecting his sister of all people to do something like this.
"Come on, Flare it's not that big of a problem." Bloom said trying to calm Flare down but now she felt like a hypocrite.
"Fraud is a huge problem!" Flare shouted at his twin sister. "You could get kicked out for that!" He added knowing of the number of times he's nearly been kicked out of school for his behavior.
Just then Stella noticed a familiar face nearby. "Flare." Stella began as she saw someone had arrived.
"How are we going to explain this to our parents!?" Flare asked as he was in a rant right now.
"Flare." Bloom added as she also took notice to the new arrival.
"We are in serious trouble! If you have to be sent back, how will I know if and when you get attacked again!?" Flare asked as he was in a rant form.
"Flare." Stella continued as she knew Flare had to see this.
"This is bad! This is extremely bad!" He continued but was then cut off.
"FLARE!" Both Stella and Flare all called out to get Flare's attention.
"WHAT!?" Flare responded and thus Bloom pointed at a new figure just standing at the side. It was Aeon back and well while watching the whole thing play out.
"Yo." Aeon greeted before taking a bite out of a pastry from somewhere.
"Hey." Flare began as he looked to Aeon. "Um thanks for uh earlier." Flare said as Aeon smirked and walked over to the group with the Fairies being on edge over this supposed 'destroyer of worlds,' before them.
"This was a onetime rescue button rookie." Aeon said as he walked passed the group. "I won't be around next time you're in a bind like that. This is your journey after all so you better get strong for it." Aeon said as he finished his pastry and threw it into the trashcan nearby.
"Um thanks." Flare said as he looked to the supposed Kamen Rider.
"Anyway I got places to be, Riders to meet, and a photo shop to run." Aeon said just as an odd gateway appeared before him. "If you guys are ever in London look me up Bloom has my card." Aeon said before entering the portal and leaving them there.
All was quiet for a moment when they saw Aeon take his leave of them. "Well... that was a thing." Stella said as she was impressed with what had happened.
"Yeah it was." Flare said as he turned around and saw a sight he did NOT want to see. "Oh boy." Flare said as standing before him was a student from his school who may or may not have saw the whole thing play out.
"So the situation has been sorted." The specialist said as he then turned to Flare who jumped up a bit in response.
"Who are you?" Stella asked as she saw the specialist standing there.
"No one important." The young man said plainly before he pulled out his inert phantoblade.
"Wait a second hold on, what you doing?" Flare asked while taking a step back in fear.
"You snuck out of the academy I was sent here to deal with a problem." The Specialist said as Flare remembered what his headmaster had said. "Since the situation has been resolved, I'm going to take you back to face punishment for breaking a rule. If you resist..." He trailed off before he activated his weapon for a slender long white blade to materialize from the hilt. "I will do so with force." He said as the threat was evident here.
"Ok cool down I'll come with you! Just put that away!" Flare said as he did not need this problem right now. This had to be some sort of record for Flare to get in trouble and it's not even the first official day yet.
"Hold on!" Tecna the violet wearing tech girl spoke up. "We haven't." she began but was cut off by the Specialist.
"You can resolve your issues later. I am merely here for a mission. Pardon for the intrusion." The Red Fountain Student said before he then used the medal to teleport himself and Flare back to Red Fountain.
(Scene Break Red Fountain)
Flare upon his arrival was taken and left on a bed in the infirmary due to having injuries after the fight he got himself into. "Well this is a new record even by my standards." Flare said as he knew his parents will never let him hear the end of this once they find out. "This can't get any worse." Flare said and thus had tempted fate with that.
"Flare." Came the voice of Flare's headmaster as Flare looked to see Saladin was here frowning at him.
"And it got worse." Flare said realizing he should have kept his mouth shut. HE then sat up on the bed as he should be cleared to leave soon.
"You have disobeyed a direct order. I am disappointed in you." Saladin scolded sounding like Flare's dad there.
"Yeah..." Flare said as look to the floor knowing he messed up.
"Flare I am not upset that you didn't listen to me." Saladin said as he began to explain why he was upset. "I am upset that you are just throwing yourself into danger like that. Every life is important. Including your own." He explained as he knew how Flare's mindset worked. "I know how much you value your family." Saladin said as he was reminded of Flare's predecessor. "But please understand this if you do end up losing your life protecting the ones you love, who else can protect them in your stead when you're gone?" He said and thus got to the major part of this speech. "I'm not saying that you should focus on self-preservation. Nor should you focus on self-sacrifice. I have lost too many people to that." He said and thus Flare was at a lost there.
"What should I do, headmaster?" Flare asked with a sigh as he needed answers on what to do. He saw where Saladin was coming from but Flare at times can't help it he can never let bad things happen and expect not to react to it.
"Everything and nothing, focus on the here and now, memorize the past, and use both to figure out your next move." Saladin said and thus Flare was confused there.
Saladin turns around towards the door with a look suggesting old memories replaying for him. "There is still the matter of your punishment for disobeying headmaster and sneaking out at night." Saladin said as he already had the perfect punishment in mind. "Starting tomorrow, you will do twice the amount of training until next week." He turns his head back to Flare with a smile. "Better work hard to keep up. I'm counting on you." He said and thus Flare saw this was also a way for him to catch up to the others.
"Y-yes, Headmaster!" Flare stammered as he stood up tall.
"Good lad." Saladin said before he turned back to the door. "Oh, and the leader of Logos? He's agreed to meet with you tomorrow. After your training that is. Be ready for that." Saladin said and thus Flare nodded to the man.
"Got it." Flare said and thus Saladin took his leave of Flare.
(Later in Saladin's office)
Eventually Saladin made it back to his office as he looked a bit annoyed over what happened and who was responsible for it. "What were you thinking, Tassel?" He asked as he looked to see the same man Flare had met earlier this night.
"Bonne Lecture, Saladin!" The clownish man flamboyantly greeted the headmaster while sitting by a table. "Well, this story can't do drama without all of its characters. Such is that way, no?" He asked as he looked to Saladin.
"Not when it endangers a student's life." Saladin said with a glare at the man.
"Non, non! That boy is completely fine! Wouldn't kill off a main character this early! Especially if it is meant for the children." Tassel said as he was clearly an odd one to say the least. He then took out his pocket watch sand went wide eyed to it. "Oh dear! Look at the time! Au revoir~!" Tassel said as he began to take his leave.
"I am not done yet-!" Saladin called out looking to where Tassel was seated only to find the seat in question empty when he turned to face Tassel. "...I swear, during all my years I still don't know what he's up to..." Saladin said as he then sat at his desk with a sigh. "What would you have done old friend?" He asked remembering the previous Saber and felt he would have been a better headmaster then he was at times. "Heh probably something along the lines of, why I asked him and telling me I've been doing well thus far and to keep at it while learning from my mistakes." He said recalling his friend and how he tended to respond to the problems others have.
"But with Saber back... how many more swordsmen will rise to the challenge? Perhaps we shall learn this year." Saladin said as he knew with Saber back in action a lot of changes were upon them.
