ESKK: Well, here you go this chapter has been a long time coming so let's begin.
(Start Swamp Magix)
The day had been a beautiful cloudless Sky for the group, the birds were singing, the animals were frolicking, and the Red Fountain Specialists were wrapped in vines... wait back up. It was as stated the Specialists were currently wrapped in vines as they were struggling to get free from it but only served to anger the vines more. "Jeez first Flare fails his job, we crash, and now this!" Riven growled as they struggled to get free from this situation.
"Hey, don't blame me because of your crappy flying." Flare said as he then growled a bit. "At least I can trust you to be an ass still." Flare said as Sky and Brandon knew Flare was angry with them and rightfully so.
"Ok I get it your angry that Sky and I lied to you guys lied." Sky said using his own name oddly enough as he tried to get out of this situation.
"As much as it galls me to admit it Flare has a point." Riven said as he glared at Sky and Brandon. "How did we even end up in this situation we're smarter than this." Riven said as Flare glared a bit but Riven, would not let Flare have that. "Well, most of us are smarter than this." Riven said and thus Flare glared at Riven.
"Yeah, screw you too Riven." Flare said as he glared at Riven with some contempt for him.
"Riven has a point we had to have gone wrong somewhere... well save for Brandon and Sky's lies." Timmy said as he tried to retrace their steps.
"Look maybe retracing out steps will help us calm down some, and who knows it may serve to piss off Riven." Flare said as Riven glared at him.
"You guys still can't find some common ground, can't you?" Timmy said as he was trying to find a way out of their current predicament.
"Right now, the only common ground we have is that Sky and Brandon are a pair of liars!" Flare countered as he glared at Sky and Brandon only for the vines grip to tighten around him.
"Look let's just retrace our steps a bit because this might be it for us, now this all started back when we were transporting that Troll to the authorities." Timmy said as he recounted that event which happened earlier that day.
(Flashback Earlier)
Flare and Timmy were currently in the back of a Red Fountain Transport ship as they were currently keeping an eye on their prisoner. Said prisoner was a blue skinned long-haired troll that was staying quiet during their journey. "Jeez why do we need to hang around this guy?" Flare asked as he glared at the Troll for a second before joining up with Timmy.
"That's because you and Riven are at each other's throats a lot." Timmy said as this was the best way to keep the peace. "That and you still haven't gotten a license to drive one of these." Timmy said as he looked to Flare who crossed his arms and began to pout.
"Don't remind me." Flare said angry he had to work on getting ANOTHER license of all things. "Still ugly personality here has been giving me the evil eye since take off." Flare said as he glared at the cuffed troll. "It's starting to annoy me." Flare said as Timmy knew what Flare meant.
"Look just a little while longer and he won't be our problem anymore. Let's just focus on that at least." Timmy said before he stood up and headed for the door. "I'll go update the others you stay put and keep an eye on our guest." Timmy said and thus Flare nodded to him.
"Got it." Flare said as he was then left alone with their prisoner. As Flare glared at the Troll the Troll in turn glared back at Flare. "Not a single problem from you jerk." Flare said as he then took out a comic book he brought from home and started reading it. But as Flare read the ship soon shook causing Flare to go wide eyed to this as he tried to grab something to hold on with. "What the heck?!" Flare asked shocked over what had just happened here.
The ship soon jumped again as this time it caused a hole to blast into the ship making Flare go wide eyed to this. The cabin depressurized as Flare cried out in shock over this. "What the hell come on!?" Flare yelled out as he tried to hold on by grabbing the bench. But alas they were falling, air was spilling out, and Flare was losing his grip all the while the troll smirked at Flare's situation here. Just then Flare lost his grip and from there he went wide eyed to this. "Oh crap!" Flare cried out as he then flew out of the hole just as the ship crashed into the ground.
Flare went flying with a scream where he ended up hitting a tree and in turn his vision was filled with leaves and branches hitting him in the face. It was their Flare began to black out from that as he hit his head at the end of his ordeal.
(Pause Flashback)
"Speaking off had anyone caught sight of where my comic book landed? It's a collector's edition." Flare asked as he wanted to get that particular comic back from where it had landed.
"I think, there is a more pressing matter than where your comic book is at," Timmy said as he was trying to get Flare back on track as Riven said, "Yea, like getting out of these vines!"
Riven was pulled in tighter by the vines as he was struggling to break free, with "Brandon" said to them while trying to help out remembering what had happen, "I believe after that crash, we were coming too, the girls from Alfea Academy came and helped us."
(Flashback)
Flare groaned a bit as he was waking up from his short nap, as he opened his eyes and saw he was still in a tree and sees the Red Fountain Aircraft was nearby crash into the mud a few yards from where he was.
With Sky, Brandon, Timmy, and Riven gotten out of the ship a bit beaten up as well from the crash as well but seem to have been keep safe in the cockpit.
Suddenly from the distant a group of people were running towards them, as the group saw it was then the girls from Alfre Academy along with the Winx club girls who were the first to reach them as they approached them with Flora being the first one to speak up as she said, "You guys okay?"
"Isn't it rather obvious?" Riven said as Musa looks at the guy with a blush on her face, as he sees her looking at him weirdly, he gave off a small scolding look at her, which she just giggles a bit, with bloom remember them as she said, "Wait I know you guys, my brother Flare is on your guy's squad right?"
"That's right, and speaking of which, where is he?" Brandon asked with a groaning voice called out to them, "I'm up here!"
As everyone turn to the tree flare landed in with Stella and Bloom gasp a bit as his sister called out, "Flare, are you alright?"
"I was suck out of the aircraft… fell maybe several hundreds of feet in the air… landed in this tree, and everything hurt, other than that, I'm good," Flare said a bit sarcastic while sounding in pain as Stella spoken up saying with a worry tone, "Don't worry flare, we'll help you. Flora, can you get him down?"
"Certainly," Flora said as she called upon her magic over nature itself and about to cast it on the tree, but Tecna spoken up quickly saying, "Wait, what about the rule of not using magic?"
"Only to find our way to and reach the clearing, in this case I think it's acceptable as we're helping others in need of help," Stella said giving that loop hole as she look back at Flora giving her a look to tell to keep going, as the tan skin fairy nodded then she cast her magic on the tree with it started to move on its own and brought flare down gently with the both groups helping him out and lay him against the ship while applying some first aid as "Sky" asked him, "You think you will be alright?"
"I think so, just give me a bit to recover a bit," Flare said as Sky nodded and smile as he said, "Good we're all safe and sound."
Suddenly he gasped as he remembered something and look to the aircraft, seeing the huge hole in it as and look out near the aircraft saw a set of track no doubt left behind by the troll as he said, "Where's the troll?"
"He escaped!" as "Brandon" said with the girls seem to panic by this as Tecna said, "You were transporting a troll and you, guys let him escape."
"We didn't let him escape, Flare let him escape," Riven said as he eyed Flare as the redhead teen look back at him saying, "And how is it's my fault that troll escape?"
"You were the one who was supposed to be keeping an eye on him!" Riven said as Flare glare at the guy and said, "Hey I was watching him perfectly before I was suck out of the airship and landed in that tree, painfully I may add, after that is not on me, and it was your crapping flying that cause all of this."
"I am an excellent flyer," riven said as Flare then question him, "Then how did the aircraft crash then, as last I check I was in back with the troll while you were at the controls of the ship."
"There was an accident. We lost altitude and..." riven started to say but could not think of the right word for what happen until Timmy spoken up saying, "Mechanical failure!"
"What he said," Riven said as "Brandon" soon spoken up saying, "Well now we have a problem and that is getting the troll back before he gets away."
"Don't worry about it, he's handcuffed," Riven said as suddenly "Sky" found something in the mud as he picks it up and saw it was the handcuffs that was on the troll as he said catching everyone's attention, "Uh, Riven! Look what I found in the sludge!"
AS he showed the handcuffs to everyone, Flare looked at Riven with a bit of a smug look on his face and said to him, "Hey Riven, how does that boot taste?"
The girls panic a bit to this as now there was a troll on the loose, and no telling where he is heading with "Brandon look to the Winx club and asked them, "What are you, guys doing around here?"
"We're in the middle of an assignment, Brandon," Bloom said to the blonde teen as Riven then spoken up saying to them, "Then get back to your assignment and don't worry about a thing, leave it to the Specialists!"
"The Specialists are gonna be here? When?" Stella said with flare give a quick laugh while he said, "Ha! That's a burn."
Riven gotten mad at this as he came up to Stella and said to her face, "We're right here, you silly little girl!"
"Sky" came up and put a hand on Riven's shoulder as he pulled him back a bit to defuse the problem as he said, "What Riven means, is that perhaps it would be best for you to go back to Alfea while we try to capture that animal."
Riven knock his arm off his shoulder and face "Sky" as he said to him, "We don't need your editorial comments… your highness."
Riven said that last part with a mocking tone used like he knew something that Flare, Bloom, and everyone else, beside Sky and Brandon, didn't know as an Alfre academy girl came up as she said to Riven, "And we don't need to be told what to do! We will take care of this on our own!"
"You do what you got to do, but don't ever say we didn't warn you! Now, come on guys, let's get to work. We got a troll to capture!" Riven said as Flare stood up getting the time he needed to recover enough to move on his own strength as he said, "Who died and made you the leader?"
"Shut up, rookie." Riven snapped as he glared at Flare who glared back at the asshole while Sky and Brandon walked up to Flare.
"I swear one of these days I'm going smother him in his sleep and no jury on Earth or any dimension will convict me." Flare said as the two guys with him chuckled while Flare went to check out the wreckage.
Flare gave the hole a look over trying to figure out what the heck happened. Timmy seeing this walked over to see what Flare was looking at. "What's up?" Timmy asked as Flare gave the wreckage a look over.
"Just something bothering me, we were cloaked in air and all the preflight stuff showed we were good to fly so how did this happened." Flare mused as he looked over the wreckage.
"Now that you mention it." Timmy began as he noticed something. "I don't think this was actually a system failure otherwise the damage would have been more severe." Timmy said as he looked to the hole in the ship. "In fact, it looks like we were shot down." Timmy said as Flare had a similar idea to Timmy.
A quick glance to the girls from Flare's spot showed that they may have a similar idea as him. "I'll go let Sky know about this, you work on fixing the ship." Flare said and thus with a nod Timmy got to work.
Flare made his way over to Sky as the girls did the same. "Sky I think you should hear about this." Flare said as he walked over and got to him before Bloom and the girls did.
"What's up?" Sky asked as he looked to Flare.
"It's about the hole in our ship, I don't think it was a system failure like Riven believed and I don't think it was lousy flying either." Flare said making sure Riven wasn't listening refusing to give him the benefit that Flare was mistaken in his blame of Riven. "I think we were shot down." Flare said and in turn the girls arrived to tell them their theory as well.
"Flare is right." Bloom said in agreement with her twin brother.
"The impact knocked out the stabilizer." Techna said as being a tech savvy and the smartest of the girls she made a good point.
"And whoever did that must have dealt with the handcuffs too." Musa said as she agreed with Techna.
"It's a psychic lock to be able to open it you need mental powers." Techna said as Bloom stood nearby looking over something which Flare saw as well.
"Hey girls check this out the trolls' footprints." Bloom called out as Flare and the girls gathered around it. "Notice anything?" Bloom asked as Flare looked at the footprints.
"You mean other than the fact they get lighter until they vanish?" Flare asked as he looked to the prints.
"He's right they totally disappear after a certain point." Musa said as she realized Flare was on to something.
"But the ground is still soft." Flora said as she put her foot on the ground and left a print. "How do you explain that?" She asked and thus Flora had an idea.
"Is there a levitation spell that exist?" Flare asked to which that was actually a good theory save for one key factor.
"Yes, but the problem with this is that Trolls can't cast spells." Techna said and thus Flare knew what this meant for them.
"Then that means someone busted him out." Flare said and thus went to tell the others.
In turn as Flare left the girls the fairies knew that this meant the hunt for the Troll just got a lot more dangerous. "Guys this wasn't an escape it was a break in to bust him out!" Flare called out and thus they realized this as well.
"If someone broke the thing out, they it must have known something they didn't want it spilling." Brandon said and thus they knew what this meant for them.
(Pause Flashback)
"Wait stop for a minute were you really that prideful not to reveal you figured I was innocent?" Riven asked almost mockingly to Flare who glared at the ass.
"Oh, like you wouldn't do the same." Flare countered and thus Riven was about to retort and in turn was without a comeback.
"He has a point Riven." Timmy said as he knew Riven would probably do the same.
"Shut up!" Riven snapped and in turn the vines tightened around them.
"So, what happened after that?" Sky asked as he looked among the group.
"Well, if memory serves when I told you what me and the girls figured out, we started to hunt down the Troll." Flare said and thus continued to recount what got them in this situation in the first place.
(Continue Flashback)
The group was seen walking through the forest as they continued to hunt down the escaped fugitive as Sky lead the group with Brandon. Part of Flare wanted to figure out where his comic book landed as it was valuable as a collector's item. He was always a bit of a comic book buff as expected from his general age group. Flare and Riven had still found any common ground as they the group of five continue on with their search.
"Jeez it's quiet out here, you'd expect a Troll to be more noticeable." Flare added as he walked with the group.
"Well at least the quiet makes it easier to focus." Brandon said as Riven rolled his eyes.
"So, try not to lose focus again." Riven said as Flare glared at the ass.
"And maybe you should try to get that stick out of your ass, having it stuck there cannot be healthy for you man." Flare countered as Sky sighed and face palmed himself while Flare and Riven began their insults back and forth.
"It's like those two are just naturally antagonistic to each other." Sky sighed knowing Riven is not one to back down and it seems Flare was similar.
"Well, an old saying suggests that it may be their way of liking each other." Brandon added as Flare and Brandon continued with their back and forth. Just then Brandon went wide eyed as movement was heard in the swamp. "Guys stop." Brandon said as he got the two to stop their arguing. "Do you hear that?" Brandon asked and thus from the wood line movement was heard as the two stopped their bickering and got ready for a possible ambush.
When the group move in closer to the area where they were hearing voices, and to their surprise to see some sort of lady monster with bark like skin, and green vines for hair was holding up the troll with its vine like hair, with a fear look on its face as the strange monster said to it, "The masters has sent me to saved you for a reason, as well given you the enchantment to get away, thus you're in debt to them, so unless you do as I say, not only I will rung you up by your toes and have the carnivorous plants at you, but as well leave you to those Specialists and you will be back where you were at before, behind bars to rot away in prison. Do you understand me?"
The troll nodded before the monsters let him down hard as the monster said, "Good then, keep going down this path as you will-
"I think we can take it from here," Riven suddenly said as he walked into the clearing as Flare looked at the guy and said to him in a low tone, "What are you doing?"
"Oh my, you have already caught up, no doubt the others are here including that swordsman rider, Flare, hiding in the brush are we?" the monster said as Flare knew the cat was out of the bag so he and the other came out of hiding as Flare gotten a good look at the monster, he knew right away that she was a Nymph type monster, but what he knew from Greek legends Nymph were beautiful women of nature and doesn't harm people, but this one was ugly and cruel no doubt Megiddo has corrupted another fairytale story as Flare said, "IF you know who I am then, that must mean your with Megiddo, right?"
"That I am, given the task by my masters to save this creature," The corrupted Nymph said to them as Brandon said to it, "What do your master want this the troll?"
"Nothing you need to know Prince Sky," the Nymph said which surprise Brandon for some reason as Flare was confuse by this as he said, "Prince Sky? His name is Brandon, he is the squire of Sky."
"Oh; you, poor boy that is not his true name, nor is the other one's true name," the Nymph said as both Sky and Brandon was surprise the monster knew who they were as Flare said, "What?"
"I connect with nature as its tells me everything with no lies, who you are flame swordsman, you came from earth to learn about your powers and how you came into possession of that sword, I even know those who are among you of their true names as the real prince Sky and the one name Brandon has traded their names to hide who they truly are," The Nymph said to them as Flare is surprise by this as he said while looking at "Brandon", "She can't be telling the truth can she, are you really prince Sky or not?"
"Brandon" had a guilty look on his face which was enough for Flare to tell the Nymph was telling the truth as he said, "So you two have been lying this entire time?!"
"Flare, wait you don't understand," The real Brandon said as he tried to explain the situation as Flare said to him before he could say anything, "Oh I, think I get it; you, guys didn't trust me enough to tell? Do these guys know who you two were?"
Timmy didn't say a thing but rub his head while, Riven, just stayed silent giving a don't care look at normal as it shows they knew as well, as Flare said, "So everyone knew but me?"
"I'm sorry Flare, I was sworn to secretive of not to tell," Timmy said as Flare could understand that with Riven soon said, "Not like I wanted to keep it a secret or try not to."
Riven being an ass as normal which got Flare tick off and said, "So what, you knew who they were and just keep to yourself to make me look like an idiot or something?"
"Not really as you don't need my help with that," Riven said as he and Flare soon arguing with each other with the Nymph giving a laugh to this as she leaned over to a tree near her as she said, "Capture those humans, I command you."
Sending a wave of energy into the tree which flow into the ground, which soon enough the plants near the boys began to act as they started to move and quickly wrap their vines around them quickly without them realizing what just happen as Flare got wrap up as well and try to get out of the vines and said, "Hey, let us go you ugly mother-!
The vines quickly tighten around him thus stopping him from finishing that sentence as the Nymph soon said to him, "Wish I could but my master has task me of getting this troll to them, but don't worry, I'll be back for you as well as Megiddo taken an interest of you flame boy and I won't want to upset them if I try to destroy you."
This confused Flare as he thought what did Megiddo want, with him? Before he could say or ask anything the Nymph and the troll soon took off as she said, "Ta-ta boys."
(Flashback ended)
"I should have figure that Megio would control nature, she was a Nymph for Pete's sake," Flare said as the vine keep the boys trap still after that as Sky said to him, "Flare, please understand that I am sorry I lied to you."
"Well sorry isn't getting us out of these vines," flare said as the vines tighten on him again as he said, "If only I can reach my sword, I can cut my way out."
Just then Timmy had enough as he saw the vines coming closer as they began to tighten on them. "HELP!" Timmy cried out as he clearly did not want to go out like this.
Flare rolled his eyes still ticked off as he glared at the brainiac. "Oh, great why didn't I think of that, brainiac?!" Flare snapped as he
"Stop yelling Timmy I can't think straight." Brandon the brunette said as he looked to Timmy.
Just then they heard movement and thus looking over they saw the girls had arrived. "Ah there you are." Stella said as she approached with the others.
"Keep whispering by all means you wouldn't want to upset the digestive process of these plants." Riven snapped as he glared at the girls only to yelp when the grip tightened.
"Keep your voice down you dummy." Musa scolded as Flare snickered at Riven's suffering.
But then he saw Flora approach the vines and went wide eyed. "Wait don't touch it!" He snapped with fear in his eyes. "It will only make it angrier." Flare warned and thus Flora figured Flare wasn't really knowledgeable on plants.
"Everything is ok little plants you can relax now." Flora said to the vines as they did look angry. Once this was done after a brief delay the plants eased off and let the group go much to their surprise.
"I am never dissing moms flower shop EVER again." Flare said as he got the plants off him.
"Flare what happened?" Bloom asked as Flare then glared at his team.
"I don't wanna talk about it." Flare grumbled as he did NOT like to be lied too. "Now let's get out of here before Riven pisses them off again." Flare said and thus they were off.
(Later)
Once they were far enough Sky the blonde walked over to Bloom. "Uh I'm really glad to see you again Bloom." Sky said as Flare glared at Sky for getting close to his twin sister but followed Stella's advice to give her space.
Stella then cleared her throat and approached which got everyone's attention. "You can speak normally we're out of danger." Flora said and thus the boys didn't think so.
"No, we are not." Flare said as he got the girls attention. "We got a Megio on the loose and she was the one who busted the Troll out." Flare said as he looked to the group. "So now we got to fight a monster and catch a Troll." Flare said as this day kept getting better and better.
"If that's the case then I think we should look for both the monster and the Troll together at this point." Bloom said as Flare was about to reject the idea outright.
But of course, Flora cut Flare off when she began to speak. "Well, I'm ok with it." Flora said but it seems Riven was the deciding factor on this but not in the way he would hope.
"I refuse to team up with Fairies." Riven snapped and thus Flare smirked at them.
"Well since Riven is against it then let's do it." Flare said as even if he was angry at his team, he was still antagonistic with Riven. "But if your still against it, Mr. Emo you can search on your own." Flare said as Brandon the Brunette then spoke up.
"Hey if you find the troll just give us a shout." Brandon said and thus they were off. As they left Bloom was worried for Flare as it seems he was in a bad mood. Being Twins they had a sort of bond that they knew when the other was upset or angry. Bloom figured Flare needed his space but at the same time she could not help but worry. They began their search while Flare knew the monster could be back any moment for them.
(Later)
The group arrived at a small river area where small platforms were scattered about. "Hey, I remember something like this at home, Bloom and I would hop across it for fun when we were kids." Flare said as Bloom smiled to this.
"You mean you would hop while I narrowly fell into the water several times." Bloom teased as Brandon began to hop across the platforms.
"Hey we had fun." Flare defended as Bloom playfully rolled her eyes because they did have fun.
Just then Timmy tried his hand only to fall in which everyone got a good laugh out of it. Of course, the stick in the mud had to ruin it as he glared at the scene. "First we got fairies to look after and now we have clumsy Timmy as well." Riven said and thus Flare had enough.
"Hey; Riven!" Flare snapped and thus to the shock of many grabbed Riven by his collar. "How about you shut your mouth, or I'll shut it for you!" Flare snapped as he looked ready to punch Riven.
"How about you try it!" Riven countered as Bloom knew Riven was pushing his luck.
"Uh take it from his sister he will take that challenge!" Bloom warned as she knew her brother was not one to back down.
"You know I've knocked out guys like you back home, if I hear one more quip from you it's on." Flare growled and thus pushed Riven back and went to cool off a bit.
"Wuss." Riven said as he dusted himself off causing Flare to stop.
"Oh no." Bloom gasped knowing what was about to happen.
"What?" Riven asked only to be blindsided by Flare as he charged him and thus the two fell into the water. Flare then began to punch Riven who then in retaliation rolled over and got on top where he returned the punches. Riven then had his arm grabbed and thus Flare was back on top and was about to fight further when Bloom and Sky jump in pulling the two apart.
"Let me at him!" Flare snapped as he was angry.
"Flare calm down!" Bloom urged as she and Sky held the struggling Flare back.
Riven was of course being pulled back by Brandon and Timmy as the two glared at each other. "I don't know what your problem is, but I swear to God if these two weren't holding me back!" Flare began as Riven glared.
"What are you going to do!?" Riven edged Flare on until Brandon stepped in and pushed Riven back.
"That's enough Riven either you knock it off you're off the team!" Brandon snapped as he glared at the surprised Riven.
After hearing this Riven looked around and saw everyone glaring at him and thus knew when to back off. "Alright let's go find those monsters." Riven said admitting defeat for now.
(Later)
The group soon arrived at a larger body of swampy water as they had more land spots in it as the other. As Flare looked at it Bloom stood with them before the two looked to each other and then back at it. "Seems kind of risky... but it's the fastest route so let's move!" Flare called out and thus got ready to jump.
"You sure it's safe?" Bloom asked as Flare smirked to his twin sister.
"Hey sis come on nothing ventured nothing gained." Flare said and thus got to the first platform of land he could reach.
When Flare landed on one, he steadied himself on the platform as it wiggles around as he said to the group, "Careful when you land on one, they aren't that stable."
"Thanks Flare," Bloom said as Tecna said, "So which ones should we go for?"
"Well, that one looks good," Timmy pointed one out as he looked at each platform with some bobbing a bit while others not so much as Tecna looks at him and said, "Thanks."
Soon enough Tecna made the jump over to the platform and landed on it nicely while also balancing herself on it, with the others soon did the same as they jump on their own platforms safely… until they started to move with Stella said, "I know this sounds crazy, but I think these clumps of turf are moving!"
Everyone was in the same boat as Flare started to notice them drifting out like they were being pulled into something with Bloom said, "I was thinking the exact same thing!"
"You can stop thinking now, because these are clumps are moving for real," Tecna said as soon enough all the platform turf were moving down river, with everyone doing their best to keep steady as Suddenly Flare notice something up ahead and said, "There's a whirlpool ahead, everyone quickly jump across to the next one and don't stop until you reach the other side!"
Everyone did so as they try to avoid falling into the water Stella almost did until Flare saw this and came up and catch her just in time as he said, "I got you!"
"Thank you flare, you saved me," Stella said as Flare said to her, "But we're not out of danger yet."
Suddenly Flare picked her up bride style causing Stella to blush to this as Flare carried her across the river as fast as he could until he made it before letting Stella down as he said, "There, safe and sound."
"Thanks Flare, again," Stella said before she leaned in and kiss him on the cheek as he blushed to this and said, "N-no problem."
Soon enough almost everyone made it across with the first one being Riven as he tried to leap across fast as he could but on the last turf before reaching the other side, he slipped and fell into the waters as Sky called out, "Riven!"
Catching Flare attention as he saw the Violet hair teen in the water, moving around in a panic as Flare quickly rush over and grab the guy arm before he was drag into the whirlpool as he said, "Got you!"
"Don't let go!" Riven said as Flare pull as hard as he could but the ground he was standing on made it difficult to keep still as his feet slid across it reaching the edge of the land, with quick thinking, Flare pulls out his photoblade, activating it and stab it into the ground using it to anchor himself in place as it did the trick but it wasn't enough as Riven was still being pulled into the whirlpool as Flare said, "I can't hold it! Someone, grab me quick!"
Soon enough Stella and Tecna came to Flare's aid as they grab his arms while the others grab onto them and started to pull him and Riven, out, and away from the river, as Riven made it onto land as he coughed and spat out water.
Soon enough a shadow hover over riven as he looked up to see flare standing before him as he reached out his hand and said to the guy, "Need help up?"
Riven didn't say a thing as he took flare hand as the swordsman help the guy up as Riven said. "I guess I owe you one."
"That you do," Flare said as the group was surprise by Riven and Flare acting to each other as they were acting nice to each other as Riven said, "Come guys we got a troll to catch, and a monster Flare need to beat."
"Yeah..." Flare said reminding himself he and Sky both have powers as riders.
(Later)
The group was seen walking about as Flare told them about the one story about himself and Bloom. "So, after a bit of nailing each other with pranks I won the prank war when I put a balloon into a smoothy gave it to Bloom and she set it off with the straw." Flare said as Bloom was embarrassed about that fact. "Straw enters balloon and KA-POW Flare wins the prank war." Flare said as this got a laugh from the group.
"And right after we got grounded for a month and had to clean up the mess we made." Bloom added remembering that story.
"What did I say they're a lively sort." Stella said with a smile on her face to the other fairies.
Just then a scream was heard getting the groups attention. "We got trouble!" Flare called out and thus got moving.
As they got closer to the troll, they saw that the blue skinned jerk had the fairies cornered. "That sounds like amaranth!" Bloom called out as they saw the troll.
"The fairies of Alfea are in trouble." Brandon said as Flare then looked over to Sky when he noticed something.
"And that's not all!" Flare called out as they saw the monster was there as well. "Well only one thing to do!" Flare called out and with a nod Sky followed after Flare.
"Sk- I mean Brandon and I will distract them and draw the monster away the rest of you handle big blue and ugly!" Flare said and thus went into the fight.
"Wait Flare!" Sky called out but was too late and with a roll of his eyes the blond went after Flare while holding the belt.
In the area the monster had the girls cornered with the Troll. Just then a new sound was heard which got their attention. "SworDriver!" Came the sound of Flare and Sky's belts as the two came in and slashed at their foe with their Phantoblades. Once this was done, they jumped back to avoid the counterattack from them.
"What you two got out!?" The Monster gasped as she saw the two had escaped.
"Yeah, we did!" Flare said as he pointed his weapon at the monster. "But we won't be jumped this time!" He called out and took out his WonderRide Book before opening it.
"BRAVE DRAGON!"
"Ready, Brandon?" Flare asked as he looked to Sky who nodded to this.
"Right!" Sky said taking out the Lion Senki WonderRide Book.
"LION SENKI!"
The two then proceeded to insert the books into the belts slots and thus activated the pre-jingle of the belts. Once that was done, they drew the swords and in turn activated the next bit.
"UNSHEATH REKKA/NAGARE!"
"HENSHIN!" The two boys called out and with a few quick slashes of their weapons.
"BRAVE DRAGON/LION SENKI!"
And with this done the two fighters were then transformed into Kamen Rider Saber and Kamen Rider Blades as the two riders stood ready for battle. The two riders then charged in and began to fight the monster plant as the witch like nymph roared and attacked the two. As the two riders avoided the attacks Flare was slashing through the vines while Sky was avoiding it.
"What that all you got!?" Saber taunted as he looked to his foe with a cocky smirk on his face. With a growl the monster went after the duo as they drew her away from the main group.
(With the others)
"I have... so many questions." Timmy said as he didn't realize Sky also got that power.
"Less asking more fighting." Brandon said and thus they went for the troll.
(Back with the Riders)
Saber and Blades arrived at a clearing with the monster behind them as she sent out vines at the two. The Riders in response slashed away the vines while defending themselves making sure to keep their foe at bay. Once that was done Flare focused his magic and sent off a fireball at the foe causing her to cry out in pain from the attack. But it was not enough as Flare was forced back by his foe causing him pain as well.
Sky then roared out as he came down with his sword and slashed at the woman forcing her to ease back and circle around them. "Flare we need to cover each other's." Blades began but was then cut off when Flare charged in headfirst with a roar. "Wait Flare!" Sky called out and was in turn ignored.
"Come and get it!" Flare called out causing their foe to smirk and forced Saber back with a powerful kick to the gullet. The force of the attack caused Saber to hit a tree where he crashed making a dent in it.
"Flare!" Blades called out as he went to Flare and covered him. "Look Flare if your still angry can you push it back!?" Sky asked as Flare glared at him.
"Oh, sure save for the fact my friends made an idiot out of me!?" Flare called out but Sky knew Flare was the sort who valued honesty.
"I get it I'm sorry ok, I had some reasons to lie, and you were new to the group." Sky said as he then blocked an attack and held his ground. "I know for you it's not a good reason politics aside, but I want to work on us being able to trust each other." Sky said and thus pushed back his foe and in turn Flare joined him. the two continued to fight off their enemy as she continued her assault on them. "I'm willing to start over! So, what say you?" Sky asked as he slashed down against some vines from their foes just before Saber pulled Sky away from a shot from their foe's eyes.
"I'm willing but I need to be sure I can trust you!" Flare called out as Sky then rolled his eyes.
Just then Sky went wide eyed as Flare was then restrained by the vines causing him to cry out. Going wide eyed Blades saw how Flare was hoisted to the air by their enemy who laughed sadistically at him. "One Rider hold the spirit." She taunted as Sky saw he had to get Flare out of this now.
"Flare!" Sky calls out as he quickly sheathed his sword into the driver and pull the trigger on it before pulling it out fast.
READING FINISH NAGARE UNLEASHED LION STRIKE VOL 1: WATER.
Sky send an water slash at the vines that held Flare as well many others that the Nymph had out, while she cries in pain when this happen while Flare drop down a bit hard as he groin in pain a bit as it seem falling from the tree and being squeezed by the vines earlier is taking its toll on him now as Sky rushes over to Flare as he ask him, "Flare are you alright?"
"Brandon watch out!" Bloom cry out suddenly as Sky look and saw a vine coming at him and one with thrones on it, seeing they were coming at him he would have dodge it but flare would be the one to get hit instead, so he got in front of Flare, surprising the Flame swordsman, as the vines strike him hard, not only sending Sky back, but also knocking out his wonder rider book from his belt, reverting back to his civilian form while he also slam into rock wall where the other fairies were at as they gasp to this.
"No!" Flare cried out as he saw Sky badly hurt with drop of blood coming out from his mouth and cuts all around his body, as the girls rushes over him to try and help him, while the other squad members look and see their leader down and hurt giving the Troll a chance to break out from their grip and make a run for it.
Bloom kneeled down beside Sky as she said, "Brandon, please be all right, please." while she did that the Nymph started laughing a bit while she held the throne vine whip in her hand as it seemed she pulled out her weapon to deal that blow as she said, "That will teach that boy a Lesson he'll never forget!"
Flare is shock by this as Sky took a hit for him, and getting hurt by it too and seeing his sister Bloom crying over Sky's body, something inside of him snap, he was angry at this, not only hurting Sky, as he may have lied to him, but he risk his life to save him, and seeing his sister cry right there and then, he hated seeing that, he didn't want to see her cry again, as he started to stood up as he said to the Nymph, "How dare you."
"Hm?" the Nymph looked at Flare as he gotten back on his feet as he said to the monster, "How dare you attacking us, how dare harming my friend, how dare you to make my sister cry!"
Rekka was suddenly set ablaze as it wasn't its normal flame either, feeling Flare emotion, the magic that was in him drew into the sword itself as the Nymph saw this and sense the magic that was coming forth as she laugh as it seem she discover or found something that was very interesting to her as she said, "So what, human are inferior, they are fragile creature that deserve nothing more than become material for the magic, you feel humans should honored!"
"You may treat us nothing but trash, the thing you underestimate humans for of being weak, but there is one problem with that logic," Flare said as Nymph said, "And what's that?"
"We always surprise our limits," Flare said as he suddenly charges in, ignoring the pain he feel throughout his body as the Nymph use her whip to attack saber with, but Saber deflected the hits as he keep charging forward as he soon got in close enough and slash at the monster causing great pain to her as he slash at her with all he got but wasn't done just yet as he sheath the sword into the SworDriver and pull the trigger before pulling it out.
"READING FINISH! RAGING FIRE UNLEASHED DRAGON! SLASH: Vol 1! FIRE!"
Flare slash across the monster chest while being set ablaze, sending her flying into a vegetation area soon exploding, as soon after that flare kneel down as that took a bit out of him as he hoped that did the trick to defeating the monster.
(With Sky and bloom)
Sky began to stir awake as he hears someone crying as he opened his eyes and saw Bloom over him as she cried for him, a bit weak to do much but gotten words to come out of his mouth as he said, "H-hey, why're you, crying?"
"B-Brandon!" Bloom said as she saw Sky was awake, and alive as he give a smile to her showing he was alright, Bloom cry more while she pull him into a huge, causing him to yelp out in pain, making bloom drop him with a gasp, with Sky give another cry after falling as Bloom soon said, "I'm sorry Brandon, I didn't mean too."
"It's fine," Sky said as Brandon give a laugh at this and said, "Good to see you're alright."
"Not like he would go down as simple as that," Riven said overestimating his team leader as Timmy said Sky, "I'm glad to see you all right Brandon."
Sky gave a nod to this while whines a bit as he soon thinks to himself of the pain he is and the battle he did as he while his thoughts went over to Flare as he saw him kneeling down and thought, "Is this what Flare go through at times?"

Saber was trying to sooth his breathing, to relax a bit after that last attack as he was thinking he had won, but then a sound was heard, an angry cry came forth from the area the monster exploded at, to flare and the other shock when they heard this as they look and sees the Nymph was still alive, hurt but alive still as with a burn scared across her body she yells out in anger, "You bastard, look what you done to me! My beauty is ruined!"
"You call all that beauty?" Stella questioned the monster as to her and everyone else she was ugly to the T, while Flare ball his fist a bit as he said, "Damn it, what does it take to destroy these guys?"
"After I destroy you, I will destroy everyone and everything here and leave your body to rot, I don't care what Magiddo want you for anymore," the Nymph said as Saber stood back up ready to fight again, as he try to figure out what to do in this situation as the fairy look at this and wondering the same thing with Flora suddenly felt something calling to her, as she look at Flare, but not him exactly, but what he held on his belt, the clip wonder book holder as she sees the book on Flare give a slight glow as it was talking to her, soon enough she call out as she understood it while she cry out, "Flare, use that other book you have!"
"What other book," Stella question as she and the other looks at Flora as the nature girl said, "The book he has with him, it somehow called out to me."
"The other book?" Flare said as his attention went to 'Jack and the beanstalk' as he pulls it out and looks at it, soon giving him the idea as he said, "Wait that's right, other books can give more power." Flare suddenly opens up book as it tells its story to him.
"A mysterious story about a bean suddenly obtained by a boy becoming a huge tree!" (Bold it)
Soon enough Flare close the book while also sheathing his sword and closing Brave dragon on his belt, then insert the second book at the other end of the SworDriver with it begin to jiggle again.

Saber is in the burning library again as suddenly two large books dropped behind him. Once this act was done Saber then gripped his sword before pulling it out fast.
"REKKA UNLEASHED!
The giant books open up as the dragon flew out from one book, while the other book grew out vines that attach themselves onto Saber left side of his body, including his helmet.
"When the two books stack, The scared sword gains power. WONDER RIDER!"
(End transformation)
The group and the other fairies that were with them stood in shock of what they saw. even Sky. As they all staired in awe seeing Flare new form when he inserted that second book into the Driver.
"DRAGON JACK AND THE BEAN STALK!"
Flare felt the power flowing through him, something different than brave dragon being by itself as he looked at himself seeing the green armor on his including his own little vine as he played around with it a bit as he said, "This is a bit interesting."
"Damn you Kamen rider!" Nymph said as she charge at Saber with her weapon as suddenly Saber dodge the whip and suddenly counter as he aim his open hand at the monster and fire bullet seeds at her, striking her many times as eh back away before yelling out more in anger as she came at him again with Flare using his new power to create a vine himself and use it to grab hold of the monster's weapon when they got entangled with each other.
The monster tried to get its weapon freed, but Flare pulling hard on the vine making the monster be pulled towards him as he slashed at her while doing so, with the Nymph letting go of her weapon with Flare turn around and started attacking the monster with a mix of his sword and the seeds that he can soon from his side.
The group cheer out for Flare seeing him fighting the monster and winning, as he sent the monster flying back a bit, she stood up and cursed at him as she said, "Damn you!"
"Come one," Flare said as the Nymph send her vine hair at him in greater numbers as it seem they were about to hit him, until Flare shot some seeds into the ground, and something incredible happens as right away when the vines were about to hit, bean Stalk vines came forth and getting entangled with the monsters hair vines, stopping them in their tracks as the Nymph was shock by this as Flare soon shot one seed at his feet with a green book suddenly appearing while it open up, a giant bean stalk came forth as it raise Flare to a new heights as the monster try to get free from the vines using her power over nature, but they didn't listen to her at all as she said to him, "Damn you saber, damn you! This isn't how this story was supposed to go."
"This is my story monsters, and I will determine on how it ends," Flare called out before he then inserted his sword into the SworDriver once again and hit the weapons trigger twice.
"FINISH READING. Dragon Jack and the Bean stalk Strike: Vol 2. F-F-Fire!"
Flare Suddenly jump into the air as a book appeared around him. The book then proceeded to open up and flip its pages giving the effect of the flames and Vines becoming one before the book vanish as Flare came in with a flying kick while he said, "SEIYA."
Pages of the book soon formed behind the monster when Flare's kick made contact. Following this event Flare passed through the monster and landed on the ground and just then the monster passed through the pages before it hit the book at the end of it. Once this happened the monster blew up and from up above Flare saw something shine and falling his way. In response Flare caught the item in question and gave it a look over seeing what it was.
"Peter Pan?" Flare asked as he saw the book in his hands was called Peter Fantasia. Just then he remembered another thing and acted fast. "Brandon!" Flare called out as he then ran over to Sky and looked the prince over as did Bloom.
"Brandon are you ok?" Bloom asked as she looked Sky over.
"Yeah, I'll be fine." Sky said as he looked to Flare. "So, making your sister cry is all it takes to set you off?" Sky teased causing Flare to playfully glare and drop Sky.
"He's fine." Flare said before walking off while Sky chuckled a bit.
"Wait the Troll!?" Sky gasped almost forgetting about that monster.
"Got away." Timmy said as the group looked and saw Brandon, Riven, and Timmy approach with the girls while holding the handcuffs for the Troll in question. "We tried getting it but when the plants started growing from your fight it used the chaos to escape." Timmy said as Sky got back up to look to Timmy.
"It's fine Timmy you did your best." Flare said knowing at least Timmy tried.
"Well, it's not a total loss for us." Riven said and just before Flare could ask, he found a familiar comic thrown in his helmet. "Now we're even." Riven said as Flare looked and was wide eyed when he saw the comic.
"My, comic book!?" Flare cried out as he knew its value to a collector and gave it a look over.
"It was torn up a bit when I found it, so I used magic to fix it." Riven said as Flare smirked at the jerk. "So now we won't have to suffer hearing your annoying voice complaining about losing a 'collector's item,' for days to come." Riven said as Flare glared at Riven.
"Hey, let's not forget who saved your sorry butt." Flare countered as clearly the two may have found some common ground but not big enough for the two of them. Timmy chuckles while Brandon sighed seeing the two continue to bicker like a pair of Corgi's.
"I swear these two actually like each other." Sky said to Bloom who chuckled a bit.
"I know Flare and he's... unique." Bloom said as she knew how Flare can get at times.
"So, you guys are the specialist?" Came one of the fairies as they approached the group after being saved. "Specialists at what botchery?" She asked and thus Flare glared at him.
"Oh, I'm sorry, would you rather have been monster chow?" Flare asked surprising the girls. "Or maybe you would rather we left you to the Troll maybe THAT would have been a better outcome." Flare snapped back as the girls eased back and then stepped away. "Yeah, keep walking don't talk the talk unless you're going to walk the walk." Flare went off as Brandon looked to Flare.
"Could have eased up a bit." Brandon said as Flare then sighed to this.
"Sorry Sky it's just been a long day." Flare said as he was looking forward to his bed. He then sheathed Rekka before taking the two books out of his belt and smirked at them.
"This has been a disaster." Sky said as Flare looked to him.
"Look Brandon it's not all bad." Flare said as he looked to Sky.
"Flare you saw it; I know your new but all we do is argue." Sky said as Flare looked to a scene and saw Brandon and Riven going off on each other.
"Yeah, we do doesn't mean shit." Flare said causing Sky to look confused. "I mean me, and Bloom argue all the time and we still find the middle ground." Flare said as he looked to Sky. "It's why we're such a great team together." Flare added and thus Sky looked surprised by this. "Anyway, here a gift." Flare said as he then tossed Peter Fantasy over to Sky who caught it. "See if you can make good use of it, if beating monsters gives us these books then let's beat tones more as a team." Flare said as Sky smirked to this.
"What about Sky, Riven, and Timmy?" Sky asked with a smirk to Flare.
"We find them some swords and belts to go with them and juice them up." Flare said and thus the two shook hands while grinning at each other. This scene of course caused Bloom to smile as she saw Flare making some new friends.
(Scene Break that evening)
"Ok ship is fixed!" Timmy called out as Flare was sitting against a tree reading his comic book. They had spent the entire afternoon looking for the Troll and had failed to locate it. Meaning it had no doubt gotten away from them with the only clue to its location being some duck feathers where its footprints ended.
"Finally." Flare said as he snapped his comic book close. "The bugs were starting to kill me." Flare said as he got up and began to board the ship.
"This from the guy who used to play in the mud when we were kids?" Bloom said as Flare glared at his sister.
"Hey, I remember you weren't against joining." Flare countered as the twins could write books of embarrassing stories they had on each other.
"Still doesn't top you burning down chemistry class." Bloom countered as Flare glared at her.
"Actually, he blew up a mage craft class recently." Riven said as Flare was wide eyed at this.
"Wait he did what?!" Bloom asked as she never thought Flare could top burning down a science classroom until now.
"DAMMIT!" Flare cursed as now Bloom will never let him hear the end of it. They in turn began to board the ship as Riven and his teammates told Bloom the details of how Flare blew up an entire classroom trying to transform a needle. All the while Flare buried his face in his hands wondering if he could throw himself out of the ship to avoid this.
(Scene Break the evening Red Fountain)
After dropping off the Fairies with their class the rookie team flew back to Red Fountain to report the incident. "So... Flare about the whole secret thing." Sky said as the blond-haired prince looked to Flare.
"Look I get you have your reasons and I understand I wasn't in the group until recently but... I hate it when people lie to me." Flare said as he then looked to Sky. "But you took a hit for me even when you had no reason to, so I owe you guys." Flare said as he looked to Sky.
"Well, you did save Riven." Sky added as Timmy nodded in agreement.
"Honestly, I wanted to let him, drown." Flare admitted and thus Riven glared at Flare. "But if I did Bloom would never let me hear the end of it." Flare said as he then glared at Riven. "Not like it did much now Bloom will be telling everyone that I became an explosives specialist." Flare added as he glared at Riven who knew at least he got even.
"So, we cool?" Brandon asked as he looked to Flare trying to apologize for lying to their teammate.
"Yeah, we're cool." Flare said forgiving the group for now. "So which Sky is going to tell the headmaster we screwed up?" Flare asked as he looked to their docked ship that was being repaired. Someone had to tell and unfortunately for Brandon since he was Sky and the Leader of the team this meant that he had to tell the headmaster of this failure.
(Scene Break Sword of Logos)
"So do you understand your mission?" Came a female voice as a young man was calmly sitting on his chair.
"Yes, I am to travel to Red Fountain, establish contact with Saber and Blades, and assist them in the use of their Sacred Sword and the WonderRider Books." The young man said as he was dressed similar to a warrior from the desert. "Though I fail to see why it's important that I go there with our enemy acting out as much as they have." The man said and thus the female spoke back.
"Simple because most of their actions seem to be focused in Magix and by extension Red Fountain and Alfea." The woman said as she looked to the young man. "We are preparing to send an envoy to Cloud Tower, but it will take time." She said knowing how fickle the Witches tend to be.
"Very well." The young man sighed knowing he had no choice. Thus, he grabbed a topaz yellow WonderRider Book and with it a similarly colored sword and thus began to board what looked to be a carpet. Once he sat on it though the Carpet showed it was magic as it began to levitate off the ground before flying off. Another Swordsman was on his way to Red Fountain and thus the Specialists and Riders will soon be drawn deeper into the war between Maggedo and the Swords of Logos.
