ESKK: Another chapter legs get started.
(Start Red Fountain)
Flare was reading a book in his dorm room. Ever since the incident with the Witches Flare had started to research Stella's ring. It's been bugging him ever since he first met Stella those three witches have been gunning for her ring and Stella never seems to wonder why. Nearby Timmy was studying the Wonder Ride Books they had acquired thus far as it felt kind of like a scavenger hunt for them.
"Well, this proves my theory matching colors equal greater power." Timmy said after he tried Hedgehog with Aladin. His scanners got the data, and this meant one thing for Flare, he may have matching Wonder Ride books out there as well.
"Yeah, that's great Timmy." Flare said as he waved off his friend.
"Uh Flare you paying attention?" Timmy asked with concern for him.
"Yeah sure, do your best." Flare said as he was clearly not listening.
"Hey Flare, Riven; just got himself locked outside in his underwear and everyone is laughing at him." Sky said which got Riven upset with a glare. But despite this all Flare did nod and continue reading.
"That's nice Brandon." Flare responded and thus Sky had enough.
"Flare!" Sky called out and slammed the book to the table.
"Dude what the hell?" Flare asked as he looked to Sky.
"Look man your distracted and honestly even Riven is worried, and he doesn't even like you." Sky said as it was no secret that all Flare and Riven do outside missions were shooting insults at each other.
"Look I just can't get my head around this thing with the Trix." Flare said as he leaned back on the table.
"The Trix?" Brandon asked as Amud tilted his head a bit.
"It's the name my sister's fairy friends coined for those three witches." Flare said as he leaned back on his chair. "Funny enough my sister and her group started calling themselves Winx." Flare added with a small smile on his face.
"Great the girls have team names now." Riven said with a sarcastic tone. "Maybe you can all do a childish superhero team up." Riven said only to suddenly get assaulted by a familiar ball of light. "Dammit Flare control your pixie." Riven said and thus Flare sighed.
"Hey Tink lay off him he may deserve it but now is not the time." Flare said and thus the pixie flew over to Flare and hovered around him.
"I thought Tinkerbell would have returned to her wonder ride book by now." Sky said as he looked to the fairy who nuzzled up to Flare.
"So did I but behold." Flare said as he gestured to Tinkerbell who took a spot over on Flare's shoulder. Tinkerbell then flew off and hovered around the room before nuzzling up to the sleeping Ico and Princess.
"So Amud you have a pet?" Timmy suddenly asked as he looked to Amud.
"Yes, but I had to leave him home, I do not believe he would have been allowed in Red Fountain." Amud said but then Flare cleared his throat to get everyone to focus.
"Anyway, according to this book, the ring is a powerful family heirloom for Stella and her family." Flare said as he looked through the book. "But it doesn't tell us why those three even want it." Flare said as he hated stories with loose ends.
"Well, they don't seem like common criminals." Sky said as he took a seat on his own chair.
"I concur, I suspect there is more at work than any of us may realize." Amud said joining the group a bit.
"There's more, according to the book, the Sword Ring was sculpted a long time ago out of a stone emersed in light." Flare said as he recalled the story. "It's one of the many gifts offered by the sacred fire, whatever the hell that is." Flare said and thus Amud then looked at Flare.
"Uh what's the Sacred Fire?" Timmy asked and thus Flare looked to the brainiac of the group.
"Apparently it came from a Dragon that created the magical dimensions as we know it." Flare said as he looked to the group.
"Sounds like a whole bunch of hogwash if you ask me." Brandon said as he crossed his arms while standing near the couch.
"Well, I think there's more to it." Flare said as he then closed the book he was reading. "I'm heading to the library see what I can turn up, don't wait up for me." Flare said as he got up and headed out with Tinkerbell following after him.
(Later in the Halls)
Flare yawned a bit as he walked through the halls of Red Fountain towards the library. He always did do some of his best thinking inside a library. "Jeez why is this Dragon making an itch in the back of my head." Flare said while Tinkerbell flew next to Flare's head. "What do you think, Tink am I crazy or what?" Flare asked and thus Tinkerbell just shrugged at Flare. "Yeah, figured as much." Flare said but then he kept going.
"I know it sounds crazy, but I can just feel it in my gut that this dragon is not a myth." Flare said scratching his head trying to figure out what this Dragon meant for him. "There's something more to it I can feel it in my gut." Flare said but then he got a surprise.
"Perhaps I can help you, Flare." The old voice of Saladin was heard catching Flare off guard with a yelp.
"Jesus Headmaster Saladin you nearly gave me a heart attack." Flare said as he looked to the old man.
"My apologies Flare but I could not help but overhear your troubles." Saladin said before stepping to the side. "Come with me." Saladin said and thus Flare followed the headmaster to his office to speak.
(Later the Headmasters Office)
"Have a seat." Saladin said as he took his seat behind the desk while Flare sat across from him.
"Thanks." Flare said and thus took the seat Saladin gave him.
"I see you have a new friend there." Saladin said as he saw Tinkerbell flying around close to Flare.
"Yeah, she's a strange one alright." Flare said to the tiny pixie. "But she's not so bad, she makes Riven's life miserable." Flare added with a smile causing Flare to share a laugh with Tinkerbell.
"Well then onto the subject, you wish to know about the Dragon, correct?" Saladin asked and in turn Flare nodded.
"Yeah." Flare said with a nod confirming the Headmaster's question.
"Well, it is a long story." Saladin said but Flare would not be deterred.
"Don't worry I got time to kill." Flare said and got comfortable with for the long story.
"Well then let me begin to say, in the beginning there was nothing, it was all darkness and void, then from that darkness a great explosion came forth," Saladin said as Flare said, "The big bang? The thing that started the universe?"
"Oh, so you know the story then?" the headmaster said as Flare shake his head and said, "Not really, only people on earth theories that the whole universe was created by a huge explosion creating matter or at least put matter together and the matter just form the world over billions of years."
"Well they were half right and wrong, as you see that big bang as you said that created the universe was really the great dragon and with his flames created many worlds including earth, delivering warmth, light, and life across the universe itself before the dragon itself exhausted its powers and rested on the world of Domino," Saladin said as Flare realize it as he said, "Wait Domino, the world that became a frozen over by those witches and where the former saber lived at?"
"That is correct, as you see the witches were after the dragon fire but they were unable to attain it, so they curse the world in ice and extinguish what left the dragon fire with that Domino was never the same again," Saladin said as Flare soon realize as he pull out the Brave dragon book and said, "But if what you said is true then this could mean this book contain the dragon fire power itself, if it came from the Book of the ancients that contain all the knowledge of the universe including the dragon fire, then surely mean that Domino could be restore."
"You would think so but that book did not contain the dragon fire power my boy, as the book of the ancient only recorded the knowledge of the universe after everyone was created, no one truly know how the book of the ancient came to be but there are some stories that believe that the book written itself when life came forth observing everything and keep the stories within before it broken and its pages scatter across the worlds, and the book you hold tells of a story of a dragon with destructive powers not creation," The head master explain as Flare lower his arm that held the book and said, "Oh, I see."
"Don't get me wrong me, it's a noble idea, but without the dragon fire itself, Domino can never be restore, as much as you or I want to help, not everything can be saved," Saladin said as sad news as soon enough Flare nodded and as the headmaster soon said, "But that doesn't mean it too late to help save others as even in the time of despair, hope exists beyond our resolution."
"I see… thank you headmaster for this talk," Flare said as he stood up and about to walk out of the room, until Saladin said, "Wait a moment before you go Flare, I do wish to know, what got you so interested in as Flare soon said, "Let's just say the more I learn about the worlds and magic, the more I seem to get drawn into it and as well think of a way to use it to help others."
"Well I guess that is a good reason, but sometimes it's not always wise to seek out a great power such as the dragon fire as I know such power can be devastation without knowing how to use it," Saladin said as Flare got the idea, and if the Trix are after such a power there's no telling what they could do with it as Flare said, "I understand headmaster."
"Good, now off you go my boy I'm sure you have a lot of work to do, and please keep out of trouble," Saladin said as Flare nodded and soon walks out with Saladin could only smile as he saw there is great strength with Flare as he knew the boy wasn't going to give up of helping others… but there was something that bother him and the head mistress of Alfea as he gotten a call from her not that long ago about Bloom's behavior and ask if Flare was the same, and after this talk he can confirm it there was.
There is no doubt about it that Flare and his sister Bloom has a connection to the world of Domino, it was no coincidence that Flare ended up with that book and sword as they were pass down to the next one that the original wielder believe they found someone worthy to wield such power, as the swords themselves are only mean to test those to see if they were worthy and clearly Flare is, as two magical children that ended up on earth was not coincidence… but fate.
(boy's dormitory)
Flare gather the team for an emergency meeting as he explain to the group what had happen with Sky and Amun, as Brandon and Timmy was surprised, Riven wasn't so much as he soon said, "So what, it's not like it's our problem, if that ring belong to the fairies, then let them deal with it themselves, as if they could do anything."
At that moment Tinkerbell flew in and hit Riven upside the head for that commit as he wench to the pain of being hit and said, "Why you little, keep that thing away from me or else; I'm going to tear off that, things wings."
Tinkerbell sticks out her tongue him, as Sky said, "You were kind of asking for it Riven."
"Agreed, but anyways this ain't just about the ring the Trix stolen, but why they were after it in the first place, as my best bet, they are after the sword ring because they believe it hold the power of the dragon fire, a power that created the universe, if these Trix find a way to get their hands on such a thing… well who know what could happen, so I'm suggesting we go get back the ring ourselves," Flare said as the group was surprise by this as Timmy said, "Flare we know your trying to help, but this is risky, not to mention impossible as anyone who isn't a witch can't get into cloud tower."
"That because no one has, but we will be the first, as I remember that my sister mention about underground tunnel underneath the schools between Cloud tower and Alfea, so I checked it out and found an old map of the underground tunnels That I took a picture of, and it not only connects the two school, but Red fountain as well," Flare said as he took out his phone and hand it to Timmy as he understood what Flare wants as he took it and hook it up to his device on hand which show a projected image of the underground tunnels that shows the path way to Cloud tower as well as Alfea, as well other pathways that will get anyone lost if they take a wrong turn as Flare point it out and said, "If we can follow the path of this tunnel we can enter this intersection that connect to the tunnel that connect to the two schools and follow it up to Cloud tower, get in, find the Trix's room, find the ring, and get out before they realize we were even there, and I need help for this mission, so what say you guys?"
Everyone was silent to this as soon enough the first person that stood up was Sky and said, "I may not like it, but Flare right, there's no telling what the Trix could want with this power if the ring is connected to it, then we better stop them by taking back that ring."
"Well, I guess if you're going, I'm coming as well," Brandon said as he is his Squire, he is required to be with the Prince to protect him, as Timmy said, "Alright I'll come along as well. If we can't find the ring, maybe we can find other important things that could help us."
Flare smiled to this as he got the team to help him, as next it was Amun as he said, "Going along with this plan is reckless, but the Trix has done business with the Megiddo, so it best we also investigate them and figure out what the Trix knows about them."
Flare nodded to this as he got almost the entire team to help him as he turn to the last person on the team that hasn't join yet as he said, "No way that I'm getting mix up with this."
"Come on Riven, we're a team," Brandon said as Riven said to him, "Oh I'm sorry, do I look like someone who care about a fairy's ring being taken by Witches? Its more trouble than it's worth, and your all just fools to going along with this plan."
"Well in that case then Riven, you can stay here," Flare said as this not only surprise the group of Riven too as he would have thought Flare would wanted him to join the group as he said, "Okay what's the catch?"
"No catch, I mean what would be the point for you anyways, I mean we're most likely not going to get anything out of this mission other than maybe helping thousands of worlds, heck it maybe just too much for you if you're not strong enough for it," Flare said as Riven eyes widen as he got angry and said, "What did you say to me?"
"Hey, I'm just saying, people can be weak willed of doing something so dangerous, it would be too much for them anyways, so tis better for them to sit this one out," Flare said as Riven got even more angry and said, "Hey I'm not weak, if you think I can't handle it then I'm going just to show you I can handle it."
"Sure you can," Flare said as he said it in a tone while rolling his eyes to this, as no one knew what Flare is doing as he was working reverse psychology on Riven, to make it seem it riven can't handle it, no doubt he will try and prove him wrong, only to fall into his trap of getting him to join as Riven said, "I'll show you, I'll be there, it's you that better not chicken out on us, Fire boy."
"Fine then we'll see you there," Flare said as Riven soon left and get some of his thing pack away for a mission as the others look to him as Flare saw this and said, "What?"
"How did you do that?" Timmy ask as Flare soon answer, "What do you mean? What I did with Riven? It was a simple trick to get simple minded people to do what you wanted them to do, as it's a little thing that we earthling would call reverse psychology."
(Scene Break Magido)
"So, they finally got the ring." Yasha said as he and his fellows had been informed that the three witches got the ring.
"Honestly, I was starting to think they'll just end up being relegated to comedic relief villains that accomplish nothing unless a greater scope villain is holding the reigns." Azurha said as he found it funny how the three witches kept trying so many schemes that failed one after the other. "But low and behold they finally got it." He added and thus Yasha could not help but chuckle a bit to this revelation.
"Yes, yes now that they have the ring, we move one step closer to our goal." Yasha said before scowling a bit. "At least that's what I would like to say but we all know what the Ring truly is." Yasha sighed and took a glass of wine off the nearby table. They're on the same table was a book with details on every relic and artifact connected to the Dragon Fire. Ever since Domino went cold Megido had been trying to locate the Dragon Fire but to no avail. Every Relic thus far has proven to be less than what they had hoped for every time they think they're close they only find themselves back where they started.
Bafomett scoffed to this finding their continued search to be annoying. "If those swordsmen did not get in our way as much as they have then we would have been making greater strides in progress." Bafomett said as he crossed his arms and scowled to his allies.
"Calm yourself Bafomett we still need to operate under the shadows for the time being." Yasha said keeping his friend calm.
"I hate to agree with him, but I do." Azurha said as he spoke up towards Yasha. "If Caliber was as capable as he claims he would have dealt with these novices already." He added and thus this got them thinking.
"The book of ages is all that matters, Caliber's bloodlust is of no concern of ours." Yasha said as he brought up his own point of the matter.
Rebuilding the Book of Ages was their chief priority, but the Dragon Fire could and can expedite the process for them. But their continued search for it had yielded less then hopeful results. So, with this in mind they had recruited the aid of those three witches acting as dealers for them when they were in fact being used to test the Megid and help build the book of ages. Still, they did not trust those three and they suspected that the feeling was mutual. After all it was part of the business after all, don't trust anyone not even your closest allies.
"How long do we have before those witches get belligerent with us?" Bafomett asked as he was concerned by this.
"Doesn't matter we'll be ready for them." Yasha said and thus they continued the meeting well into the evening.
(Scene Break the Specialists that night)
The guys found the tunnel and were making their way through. Timmy was holding a holographic map as Tinkerbell had her light shining their way through. Flare had a flashlight from home that he was using to help as the guys walked through the cave. "You guys sure this is the way?" Sky asked as he followed after his teammates.
"Positive Flare and I did some scouting earlier to make sure we can mark out way." Timmy said while they continued their progress through the tunnels.
"We should arrive directly under Cloud Tower Castle." Flare said as Tinkerbell kept close to Flare. "I mean I haven't made a bad idea yet." Flare said making Riven scoff a bit.
"Want that list in alphabetical order or chronological order?" Riven asked with a cocky smile which Flare glared at him.
"Yeah, real funny dude, I'm sure we can compare lists later in front of our classmates." Flare said as he smirked at Riven who glared at Flare. Flare turned his smirk back to a glare as the two guys had their pissing contest.
"These two are like cats fighting for a fish." Sky said as Brandon nodded in agreement with the prince.
They continued their trek in hopes of getting to Cloud Tower when they suddenly heard a rock being kicked. "Was that you guys?" Flare asked in a hushed tone.
"I thought it was you." Brandon said and thus they realized something.
"I do not believe that we are alone in here." Amud said as he sensed another presence in these tunnels. Drawing their weapons, the Specialists got ready for a possible battle.
"Not many places to hide." Timmy said as he looked through the tunnels.
"I saw we move in fast, and we move in hard." Riven said as Flare looked to Brandon.
"Your call bro." Flare said to the squad leader.
"Right... Sky?" Brandon asked to the actual Sky.
"We move fast, and we move hard." Sky said and thus Flare understood.
The noise was getting louder as voices could also be heard. "It's getting closer." Timmy said his voice deep in urgency.
"On three?" Flare asked Sky who nodded.
"One, two... THREE!" Sky called out and thus the guys made a battle cry as they charged in while igniting their phantoweapons. But when they got to the turn where the noise came from, they were of course surprised to find that the enemy they were worried about was in fact Bloom and the other fairies of Alfea.
"Bloom?!" Flare asked shocked to see Bloom down here.
"Flare?!" Bloom asked as looked to her brother and his friends in shock. She had come down here with the Winx so they can steal back Stella's ring and remembered about this tunnel. But she had no idea they would be meeting the specialists again down here.
Flare and the Specialists were shocked for a moment before they realized that they were pointing weapons at the Winx. In response the guys proceeded to sheath their weapons and hide them behind their backs in an awkward sort of manner. "What are you girls doing here?" Flare asked as he looked to his sister and her, friends.
"What are you guys doing here?" Bloom asked in response as the twins tried to figure out why the other group was here.
"Trying to get Stella's Ring back!" Both siblings said at the same time while looking at each other in shock.
"Well, this is strange to watch." Amud voiced as he watched the twins start their own back and forth with each other.
"Trust me when I say that my own sister and I are just like that." Flora said smiling at the scene with this odd sense of nostalgia.
(Meanwhile with the Trix)
The three witch sisters were seen hovering in the air in meditated poses as they drew forth their power on Stella's ring. Summoning their strength in dark magic the three sisters tried to get the spell to work as the ring hovered between them. The power became visible as they wrapped around the ring with the spell reaching its apex, or so they would thing.
Not long after the entire room went up in an explosion from magic rebound. The three Witches were on the ground moaning in pain from the blast. "We have to cast a safety shield spell immediately." Darcy said as Windy, who hurt her nose, was complaining about her pain.
From the closet Knut walked out when he heard the explosion. "Hey what's up?" Knut asked as his eyes showed he was trying to sleep.
"We shall be as we once were there was no explosion, no explosion." Darcy invoked and thus Knut fell into the spells sway before yawning.
"I'm going back to bed." Knut said entering his closet again.
"It cannot be, no it can't be!" Icy cried out as she slammed her fists on the floor. "Stupid ring, where is all your energy? Where are you hiding it?" Icy asked trying to figure out what happened to the rings power.
"Stella's ring might be very powerful but..." Stormy began only for Darcy to cut her off.
"I mean get real this little thing could NEVER hold the power of the Dragon Fire!" Darcy roared in fury clearly angry about this. "It doesn't take a genius to figure that out." Stormy said but was then cut off by Icy.
"BE QUIET!" Icy yelled and thus started her own rant. "After all I've been through to get my hands on this ring, I won't be talked to like that." Icy said showing she was angry that all she did was for nothing while she grabbed said ring. "Stupid fairies this ring is useless!" Icy yelled and threw the ring to the wall. "But nothing can deter us from our ultimate goal, the power of the Dragons flame will be our even if we must start the search all over again." Icy said and in turn rolled to her side when her eyes laid on a familiar book. A book mind you that had the image of a dragon with a sword on it.
IT was then Icy began to suspect something. "Wait a minute." Icy said and thus she reached for the book before being reminded of Flare.
"What?" Stormy asked as she looked to her sister with concern.
"An epiphany." Icy said as she opened the book an old story book of a dragon with a sword.
"That old story, book? Come on how is that an epiphany?" Darcy began but then saw the lines. "Unless it's not the book but someone who has a book." Darcy said and thus Icy smirked in response.
"Are we just going to chase every relic with a dragon theme to it now?" Stormy asked not seeing the logic to it.
"Flame Dragon. Dragon Fire. It may not be much, but it might be worth looking into." Icy said and in turn she had a good idea who to ask. "And I have a clue who might shed some light on this." Icy said and in turn knew that they had to call Meggido soon.
(Back with the Specialists and Fairies)
After everyone had calmed down Flare with the Specialists and Bloom with the Winx told their side of why they were down here. "So, let me get this straight we all had the same idea to get Stella's ring back?" Flare asked as he rubbed his eyes in frustration. They had all opted to travel together to get to their goal.
"It sure, seems that way." Musa said finding it odd that everyone had the same plan.
"Well in our defense, this was Flare's plan." Timmy said throwing Flare under the bus.
"Dude come on I know I'll take the fall if or when this goes wrong but wait until the teachers show up to bust us." Flare said causing the group to laugh a bit.
"I'm surprised you decided to tag along Riven." Musa said as she saw Riven was here.
"Not by choice." Riven said scoffing a bit which Bloom saw.
"Reverse Psychology?" Bloom asked her twin brother which Flare smirked in response.
"Big time, the guys and I are having a side wager over how long it takes Riven to figure it out." Flare whispered to his sister which caused Bloom to giggle.
"But Timmy has a point, those three Witches will have the homefield advantage." Sky said once more donning his persona as Brandon and the actual Branding pretending to be Prince Sky.
"Then we just need to be careful." Flare said and thus focused on the path. "Let's keep going." Flare said and thus they got moving once more.
(Back with Knut Cloud Tower)
AS the big ogre guy was sweeping the floors as he started mumbling something as he said, "They make a mess and I got to clean it, I tell you bomb explosion would have made a lot less mess."
"Is there a problem, Knut?" Icy was the one to question him as she stood behind him as he quickly answer, "Ah No-no, uh just thinking of getting you a present a vacuum cleaner perhaps."
"Finish the cleanup and come and join us," Icy said as she, Stormy, and Darcy went out of their room as Icy went on saying, "We'll be out in the woods."
Icy stood in front of a mirror doorway or sort as she wave her hand in front of it without the use of magic, somehow it open up by itself as the girl's step through as Darcy was the last one to leave as she said to Knut, "And make it snappy."
"Yeah right, they always say I'm stupid, I'm good for nothing," Knut said as he started to sweep across the floor picking up the little duckling with the dust and swing him across the room, hitting into the wall as it cracked with Knut didn't realize what he did and just went on saying, "But when they got clean up to do, who do they call? Knut, always Knut."
Knut then sweep up the ring as well and put it into the pile of trash in plain view for anyone to see, as then one of the witches calls out to him as he turn to the direction and said, "Ah I'm coming, Coming!"
(Winx and Specialist)
A secret door opened up into Cloud Tower as both groups came in together and saw they made it as Flora said, "Wow Bloom, you and your brother were right."
"The underground entrance," Tecna said as Amud finish saying, "Into the cloud tower school."
"Yeah, now that I think about it, cloud tower is supposed to be the rival school to Alfea, right?" Flare question as Stella answer saying, "It is, why you ask?"
"I just wonder why is there only three school instead of four? I mean other than fairies, witches, and specialist, aren't there any warlocks or dark magi warriors of sort?" Flare question as Prince sky pretending to be Brandon, "Not really, but that is a good question, of why aren't there any dark magi people?"
"Let not get ourselves too sidetrack, we're looking for the Trix and Stella's ring," Bloom said as wanted to stay on point as Flare said, "I know, it's just a thought that just pop into my head is all."
"Alright but how are we going to find the Trix anyhow?" Timmy ask with Bloom said, "I guess we use our magic to find the Trix?"
"Knut!" a voice scream out loudly that echo throughout the area that could easily tell where it came from, with Bloom and Flare recognize the vice as Bloom said, "Then again, maybe not."
"If we run into those witches, what shall we do?" Amud question as Flare said as he put a fist into the palm of his hand and said, "We'll take them by surprise and capture them before they realize what hit them, and then make them tell us where the ring it at and maybe figure out where Meggido base is at if they are on good term with those guys."
"That as good of a plan we can get I guess," sky said as Brandon said to him, "But we got to be careful, no telling if there are traps here or not for uninvited guest."
"Like witches are that smart," Riven said as he and the other move towards where the noises are coming from, as they haven't run into the Trix yet, but they have found their room.
A good sigh that it was there was theme of the room of Darcy, Stormy, and Icy personality, and the smell of the ogre guy as bloom said, "This must be the room of our 3 buddies."
"Yes, and my nose tells me the ogre lives here too," Musa said as Timmy soon question, "How can anyone, even witches live like this?"
"Who knows, but right now let's find that ring, and any other thing we can find on these Trix," Flare said as both groups split up and look around the room, down and up stair area, with the guys avoiding drawers and other laundry related things, as last thing they want to do is mess with other girl clothing with their female friends, even flare is smart enough to know not to do that, as he learn something the hard way early in life after he pranked his sister, so he just look around for clues of where Meggido could be at.
Tecna was looking in a cabinet and pull out a doll with needles in it as she said, "Look at what I've found."
She held it by its arms and stretch it out and said, "Kind of creepy, isn't it?"
"You may want to put that down, if that is what I think it is, you may be hurting someone," Amud said as he knew what a Voodoo doll is, and who knows if it active or not as Musa soon came out from another room and said, "Want to see something creepy, look at this."
She activate it and show the rod turn into a spike mace of sort, as when Flare first saw it, he originally thought that it was something else, but didn't want to voice it out loud, but thankfully it was a mace weapon of sort than what he thought.
Musa freak by this as Flare said, "What is up with these witches? Are all witches like this or just these three?"
"I don't know what to tell you Flare as even I don't even know," Sky said as he maybe royalty but that didn't mean he is a know it all or smart to say, with Stella was looking around and said," I wonder where they have gone at this time of night?"
She open a jar to look inside of it but caught a whiff something that smell very-very bad, while with Bloom went around the bed to see what could be there before she said, "They must have had a party in here."
"Or they were doing something else," Flare said from above as he look down and saw the blast mark on the floor, no doubt they may be trying to unlock the power that was within the ring, but something must have gone wrong as he saw something shiny in a trash pile as he point out, "Hey I think I see something in that pile of junk?"
Stella went to check it out and look to see her stolen ring as she said, "It the sword ring."
She puts on the ring as Flare came down to join them as Stella said, "Welcome home little one, did you miss me?"
She soon turns towards Flare and give him a hug as she said to him, "Thank you Flare for finding my ring."
"Not a problem, I'm glad you found it," Flare said as then he saw something strange to say as he saw a book with a dragon and a sword on it as he picks it up and look at it as he said, "It looks like the Trix are doing their own reading of books of sort."
"So can we go now?" Tecna said as she really want to get out of there fast before the Trix return or another witch catch site of them as Timmy said, "We better head out as well. No telling when those witches may come back."
"Right," Flare said as he put the book back where he found it seeing it was just a normal story book of sort about dragons and knights, that was his guess anyways as when the group try to leave, they found it difficult as the way they first came into the room was now close for some reason as the fairies tries to open it, it wouldn't budge as then the guys try and could not get to move at all as Tecna soon said, "Either the lock is broken or there's a safety mechanism."
"So, we need to find another way out... fun." Flare said as he and Bloom looked out the door.
"Oh, sure we're gonna find another way out with the 10 of us moving like a mob." Riven said and thus Flare growled a bit.
"I hate it when you have a point." Flare said swallowing his pride enough to say that. "But we don't have a choice, it's the middle of the night so if we stay quiet, we can move without being noticed." Flare said and thus they got moving once more.
"I thought you were Squad Leader, Sky." Bloom said looking to Brandon.
"I am." Brandon said and thus they moved through the castle hoping to find a way out.
(Back with Meggido)
Meggido were about to turn in for the night. Most of them were sleepy and ready to snooze when their crystal ball went off.
"Oh, come on now?" Baffomet said and thus they all got into position to speak with the Trix.
Yasha sighed and thus answered the call. "Oh, it's you girls what a lovely evening it is to see you three." Yasha said as he also wanted to go to bed. "Do you need a Magid at his time of night? I'm sure that we can work something out despite the lateness of the hour." Yasha said putting his silver tongue to work.
"Nothing of the sort we have a question." Icy said and thus Yasha grew curious.
"A question?" Yasha repeated and in turn smiled a bit. "Then ask away." Yasha said as this might be the easiest call they made.
"The sword used by the red swordsman, Saber." Icy began which got a scoff from Stormy and Darcy. "Is there a chance it might be associated with the Dragons fire?" Icy asked which got the entire Megiddo to stop and look at the witches in shock.
"That look shows you might know something." Stormy said surprised her sister got a lead for them.
"It's... possible." Azurha said stepping forward. "The Sword of Flames Rekka had been used by Domino's Royal Family for generations before it fell its recent user was even the Captain of the Guard." Azurha said knowing Caliber's role in that. But when Azurha said this this got the Witches wide eyed at this revelation. "So, at best Rekka may carry the Dragon Fire inside it at worse it can be used to draw the Dragon Fire to it like a beacon." Azurha said and thus the witches began to smile.
"Thank you for this information, sorry to disturb your rest." Icy said hiding her grin as best she could. "WE need to leave now, so don't let us disturb your sleep." Icy said and thus she ended the call.
"Are you sure that was a good idea?" Yasha asked and Azurha smiled a bit.
"Of course, they get the Dragon Fire, and we have one more thing to cross off our to-do list." Azurha said as Baffomet scoffed to this.
"I'm going to bed." Baffomet said and thus he took his leave of his allies.
(Later back at Cloud Tower)
The group had been walking through the castle for some time trying to find the exit. Tinkerbell of course lit the way for them as she made sure everyone was in her light. "So, you never introduced us to this little sprite of yours." Stella said as she saw how Tinkerbell flew around.
"Oh yeah she came out of the Peter Fantasy Book when I used it with Flame Dragon and Hedgehog." Flare said as Tinkerbell then flew over to Flare and smiled at him before flying off again. "Her name is Tinkerbell." Flare said causing Bloom to giggle a bit.
"Flare did you give her that name?" Bloom asked but Flare rolled his eyes.
"No, she just came with it." Flare said as Tinkerbell then laid down on Flare's head to take a break from flying. "Though she's pretty good to have around, sure makes Riven's life miserable." Flare joked causing Bloom to laugh with her twin brother.
But all of a sudden, the twins stopped moving as they look towards a nearby door. "Did you feel that?" Bloom asked her brother as the twins both felt some sort of presence from the behind the door.
Felt like something was calling you?" Flare asked which Bloom nodded to her twin brother. "Oh, good I wasn't the only one." Flare said and in turn the twins made their way to the door.
"Hey guys what are you two doing?" Sky asked as he looked to Flare and Bloom.
"There's something behind this door." Bloom said as she and Flare had their hand on the door in question.
"Is it a way out?" Timmy asked wanting to leave this place.
"No, it's something different." Flare said and thus Tecna spoke up.
"This is not the time to listen to your sixth senses you two." Tecna said making it clear that they had to leave.
"She's right we must find an exit and depart from this place." Amud said to the twins.
"Just a second we'll check this thing out and we'll be right on our way to the exit." Flare said as he then opened the door and entered. Once inside the group was surprised to find that they were in a library.
"Well looks like we found Cloud Towers Archives." Flare said as they all entered the group.
"I guess even Witches study from time to time." Riven said with a smirk on his face.
"Unlike you." Flare added causing Riven to glare at him for that.
"Who knows what's in these books." Bloom said as she then pulled a large book from the shelves.
"Wait Bloom maybe we shouldn't." Flare began but it was too late Bloom had the book and opened it causing a bright light to radiate out from it blinding the group for a moment. What they failed to realize was that they had set off a silent alarm.
(Meanwhile in the Headmistress office)
The Head Witch Griffin was doing her nightly duties getting ready to turn in for the night. So far this school year had proven to be another droll one but the three witch sisters Icy, Stormy, and Darcy have proven to have promise and as a teacher it was her job to nurture that potential. But before she could muse further her crystal ball began to go off which meant one thing, intruders.
"Someone has set foot in the archives room." Griffin said clearly upset about this. "Let's see who it is." She continued and then with a swipe of her hand and a use of her magic the crystal ball showed her who was in the archive room. It showed to her the Specialists and Winx in the archives doing exploring. "Oh, goodie the Fairies and Specialists are paying us a visit. Let's give them a warm welcome." She said already planning ways to make them regret breaking into her school.

"Hey, check this out, it's a book about a Specialist named Artorias!" Flare called holding a book in his hand. "And look this one is about a French Fairy." Flare said as he found another such book.
"Well Flare seems to be quiet at home inside these Archives." Amud said noting how Flare seemed to be zooming through grabbing any book that piqued his interest.
"That's my brother, he always worked well in a library." Bloom said as she found it endearing. "Though he favors fictional books more than anything." Bloom added as Flare was slowly building a stack of books.
"Someone better stop him before he tries to make off with the entire archives." Musa added as Sky and Brandon shrugged.
"I got him." Bloom said going after her brother so they can focus on the task at hand.
"I can't believe how much history the witches have here, even a forbidden section," Flare said as he went over to check out the forbidden area as he saw many books there with locks on them, no doubt to prevent others from opening them as Bloom said, "Come on Flare, we can't look through all the books in here, and I want to find a certain book that might be here."
"Just a sec, I want to… hu?" Flare went as he saw one book in the forbidden section that seem to be one of the oldest book there was, and had a strange yet similar symbol to the sword of Logo crest, as he reach out for it and grab it as he pull it out to see the word on it was written like the Wonder ride books as he did learn how to read the written language which may look gibberish to other people, as he read the title of the book that says, "Avalon".
"Come on flare!" Bloom said as she drag her brother off before he could put back the book as he went, "O-okay bloom, I got it, stop dragging me around."
Bloom lead Flare around the Archives as Flare soon ask his sister, "So what are you trying to look for Bloom, as I doubt there much you would get from it."
"I just wanted to see if there is a book about us, something that could help explain why we have these powers and maybe you could learn more about the book you have," Bloom said as Flare said, "I doubt there is a book like that Bloom, even if there is I think only famous figure would be held in Archives."
"Alright, but…" Bloom said as she trail off as she spotted something on a book pedestal as she ran up to it and said, "How would you explain this."
Flare was confused as there should be any book with their names on them, but when he came up to where Bloom is at, he saw two book there, one with his name on it, and another with his sister's name on it, both book sitting next to each other and completely brand new as the others join up with them as sky came up to them and said, "Bloom, Flare what taking you two so long?"
"What did you two find?" Flora said as they saw the two books with the siblings' names on them as Bloom was about to grab hers until Flare knew something was up as he quickly, grab his sister hand and said, "Wait Bloom, it isn't possible to have a book about ourselves already. This doesn't make sense."
"Come one flare, I thought you want to know as well," Bloom said as Flare said to her, "I do want to know about, but this is too risky, and what else could be in those books than what we already know?"
"They could tell your future," Timmy theories as Stella soon said, "Oh what I wouldn't do to know my future."
"Come on guys this is serious," Flare said as Tecna said, "He right, and if it is a book about their future, it doesn't always mean the future would be pleasant, If I were you bloom, I wouldn't do it, but it's your choice."
"Yeah, like anyone will resist knowing their future," Riven said as he thought of his own future of what it could be like after graduating Red Fountain, as he sees himself as a powerful specialist that can take down any monster that comes his way as Flare said, "Bloom, just think about it, it can't be a coincidence that we just found a pair of books with our name on them, this maybe a trap."
"Come on Flare don't be paranoid about everything, and beside weren't you going around looking at books yourself?" Bloom said as Flare said, "That different, and beside I may not know everything, but I can clearly see this is a trap."
"I'm not a little girl anymore Flare so stop treating me like I need to keep being protected, I can make my own chooses," Bloom said as she got angry at Flare and push him away for a bit before reaching out to the book to grab them as Flare wasn't going to grab his, she may as well do it, but at that moment the books change and turn into dark tentacles and grab Blooms arms as she freak out before Flare drew his Phantoblade and cut the tentacles off his sister as they retreated back into the book before they transform with a monster face on said books that laughs maniacally like an evil witch from movies with one that Flare has seen being the "wizard of oz".
Flare looked over to his sister and smirked for a moment which Bloom glared at him. "Not a word." Bloom said knowing Flare was right about his concerns.
"Alright I'll bring it up AFTER we get out of here." Flare said holding it in. "Come on!" Flare called out and thus they all started running. "If we hurry, we can leave before security shows up." Flare said while running and looked to the group.
But just then outside of Flares point of view the door vanished and in turn Bloom went wide eyed. "Flare stop!" Bloom cried out only for Flare to slam into the wall and bounce off it to the floor. Flare landed and just laid there for a moment while Riven just laughed at him.
"Ok I admit... I walked into that one." Flare said while lying on the floor before Sky ran over and helped him up. "I'm pretty sure the door was here though." Flare said after he got up and looked to the door's former location.
"It just vanished." Brandon said and thus this meant that they were trapped.
"Well, this is just great." Stella said and in turn Tecna stepped up.
"Maybe we can take a page out of Flare's book and brute out way through." Tecna said and thus had her hands like a gun. She then fired a green beam of magic at the wall only for it to do nothing to it except create some smoke.
"Well, you tried." Flare said while he and Timmy looked at the wall that stood in their way.
"Plan B anyone?" Sky asked looking amongst the group. But after thinking for a moment Amud stepped up with a plan to share.
"Perhaps power convergence may open the way." Amud suggested which Bloom knew was their best shot.
"Then I guess we gotta." Flare said taking out Brave Dragon and Rekka.
"Bloom and Flare Magic Wing and Masked Riders!" Bloom cried out and thus Flare looked to his sister surprised to hear her say that.
"Really?" Flare asked giving her a judgmental look of disapproval.
"What you weren't going to come up with anything and Kamen Rider Specialists was just a mouthful." Bloom said as Flare sighed to this.
"Because its unneeded we're not a superhero team." Flare said and had more. "And honestly speaking Masked Riders is still pretty long in comparison to Winx." Flare said before Bloom glared at her brother.
"Hey Winx, is a good name." Bloom said but before Flare could continue Riven growled.
"Enough already, we need to get out of this place!" Riven snapped while glaring at the Twins. "So why not just call us Ridex and be done with it." Riven said and thus all eyes looked to him in shock. "What?" Riven asked and thus it was Flare who responded.
"I don't know what's more shocking, either the fact that's actually a good name or the fact you were the one to say it." Flare said while also sneaking in a small jab at Riven.
"I mean it does sound like a good name to call ourselves." Timmy said agreeing with the group.
"Then its official." Bloom said as Riven just stood there shocked that Flare admitted he had a good idea.
"Really hope pigs aren't flying." Riven said before the group got back on task.
Thus, one by one Flare, Sky, and Amud took out their Wonder Ride Books. "BRAVE DRAGON/LION SENKI/LAMP DO ALANGINA!" The Wonder Rider Books went off and thus began the transformation.
(Start Henshin scene Saber)
The power began to activate before Flare closed the book again before inserting it into the left-most slot of the buckle. Once he did this Flare felt for a second, he was in a library that had fires at the ground surrounding his feet with a larger-than-life size version of the Brave Dragon book landing behind him. He simply chocked it up as magic and left it at that before continuing with what he was doing. He then gripped the sword sheath ready to draw it as he glared at his foe before actually drawing it. When he drew the sword the book, he figured was behind him opened releasing the serpent dragon from before as well as an image of a crimson warrior.
"REKKA UNLEASHED!"
Flare took a battle stance with the sword now full sized held in his hand with the blade on fire. "Henshin!" Flare invoked and thus he swung his sword making a cross slash while the flaming dragon swirls around him to form armor.
"BRAVE DRAGON! REKKA: VOLUME I!"
The cross slash then collided with his new helmet creating the visor for it and thus completing the transformation. Flare held the sword skyward as he was now ready for battle.
"When the brave dragon and Rekka, the Sword of Flames unite, a crimson blade shall pierce all that is evil!"
Soon enough Kamen Rider Saber was ready for battle.
(Blades)
Sky find himself inside of a library with a whirlpool of water below him, with a large book of Lion Senki came forth from below as its splash some water around, as sky grip the handle of his sword before pulling it out activating the Driver.
"NAGARE UNLEASHED!"
Sky held his sword in both hands as he takes a stand similar to Flare as he tries to remember what Flare said when he transform as said, "Henshin!" then slash horizontally, send out an arc of water out, while a blue lion came forth running around him.
"LION SENKI! NAGARE: VOLUME I!"
The water arc came back around, colliding with sky's helmet forming the visor on it completing the transformation. Now the Blue Swordsman Kamen Rider Blades had arrived.
"When the king of the wilds and the Nagare, the sword of currents unite, the Azura blade shall bare its fangs!"
(Espada)
Amun stood in his own Library as it appears to be buried in sand, as a life size 'Lamp Do Alangina' book came down behind him and open up unleashing a fury of lighting that surrounded Amun with a Genie like figure came forth from the book itself as Amud unsheathed his sword.
"IKAZUCHI UNLEASHED!"
Amun took his stands as held his sword in front of him as he ran his hand down the blade with lightning engulf the blade as he calls out, "Henshin!" as he Invoke and swing his sword vertical sending out a slash of lightning as his book called out in a techno tone.
"LAMP DO ALANGINA! IKAZUCHI: VOLUME I!"
The Genin flies around Amun as the armor form around and The lighting slash came back and forming the helmet on him completely the Transformation as his swordriver calls out, "When the Djinn from the lamp and Ikazuchi, the sword of lightning unite, the Amber blade shall shine with radiant splendor!"

(Start Winx Transformation)
(Bloom)
Bloom claps her hand with an orb of light forming before she swipes it away and cross her hands with flames forming on Bloom's body forming her outfit.
The fire Spread across her chest before her butterfly like fairy wings form with a mini tiara forming last.
(Flora)
Flora swing her head with her hair flung around as well as she cross her arms with a light engulfing her body, golden sparkling light form all around her as they a flower at her neck before forming a mix of pink colors outfit for her.
Flora spins around as the golden sparkling light dance around her as leaf like fairy wings form on her back.
(Stella)
Stella performed a small dance jog with her hands doing a double peace sign before she went to the next phase of her transformation. Following it up her outfit began to form around her body while her hair was pulled into twin tails. It allowed for her wings to fit perfectly on her back between the two tails.
Soon enough Stella was ready in her fairy form.
(Musa)
A dance floor appeared under Musa she dance around lighting it up with each step before she cross her arms as a light engulfs her too as disco lights form all around her before they form a red outfit for her as well.
The reaches up with a pair of headphones form on her head like she was a DJ, with her pixie like fairy wings form on her as well.
(Tecna)
Tecna took up a fighting stand of sort as she punches the air and cross her arms while kneeling down as her body was engulfed in light.
A digital skin form on Tecna before it became a white and purple outfit with a helmet and digital wings appear on her back.
(End Transformation)
The group were ready and thus got ready to bust their way out. "Alright let's do this!" Saber called out before he, Blades, and Espada stacked their swords and charged their powers of fire, water, and thunder through the blades.
"Everyone ready?" Bloom asked as she and her friends were ready to fire off their power. When everyone confirmed they were good to go Bloom gave the call. "All together... NOW!" Bloom called out and thus they unleashed their power. While the Winx fired beams of magic the Riders sent forth energy slashes that tore through the wall where the door used to be.
They all bolted out and made their way down the halls taking whatever path they could. They ran for a bit with the Riven, Timmy, and Brandon able to keep up somehow. Eventually they came to a stop to catch their breath after what felt like running a marathon.
"Uh guys I think we're lost." Brandon said suddenly as the group looked around.
"Prince Sky may be right, I don't recognize this tunnel it's not the one we came from." Tecna said looking around and noticing how unfamiliar the hall was.
"How can you tell they all look the same." Stella said not seeing how they can be lost here.
"I have a photographic memory I noticed the details." Tecna said which Timmy agreed with her.
"She's right this doesn't match the Hall we were in at all." Timmy said and thus Bloom stepped up for that.
"Please guys tell me we're not completely lost." Bloom said hoping that they were not lost.
"Ok we won't." Saber said and thus Bloom glared at her brother.
"You just couldn't help yourself could you." Bloom said which Saber just shrugged.
"Just lightening the mood." Saber said but then Espada spoke up when he heard something.
"Wait everyone be silent... do you not hear that?" Espada asked when he heard something.
"Sounds like... clittering." Sky said noting and thus they looked to the source. From down the hall they saw a large number of spiders coming their way causing them all to panic a bit.
"Giant Spiders they're a thing here?!" Saber asked shocked to see them.
"Yes, and its worse." Brandon said while pointing to the other hall where more spiders were crawling towards them.
"They're everywhere." Bloom gasped shocked as the creatures were surrounding them.
"Ok what's the plan now?" Musa asked as the giant spiders moved in on them. "I mean these things don't look too friendly." Musa said urging someone to think of a plan now.
"We have to create a protected shield, like a force field," Bloom suggest with Saber soon spoken up saying, "While you girls do that, the Rider and I will go on the offense, and Timmy, sky(Brandon), and Riven, try to look for a way out of here."
"Sounds like a plan," Blades said as he ready his sword as did Espada as they and Saber stood in front of the girls with Timmy, Brandon, and Riven stay with them with their weapon ready in case they need to fight as well, with the force field formed the spiders came forth as the Rider started to fight against them.
Saber slash his sword across at the horde of spiders as he saw them getting hurt by said flames before they retreated with other takes their places, Blades slashing his sword while sending blades of water at them which did a lot of damage to them but more just replace them as they keep coming up to him.
While Espada was swift and fast like lightning as he strike the spiders with ease, but more and more keep coming as the numbers of them has increase, some of them was getting by them as they attack the group behind the riders, but some spiders hitting the barrier and burn up upon contacted with it no doubt Bloom's own magic was making it possible, but they could not keep it up forever.
"Flare, there's too many of them, at this rate we'll be over run!" Blades said as he was backing away a bit as he send another wave of water at them as Saber said, "Then I guess it's time for me to heat thing up."
With that Saber place his sword into the driver as he pull the trigger before unsheathing it with Rekka soon lit aflame brightly as Saber pull the trigger once again with his sword calls out.
"READING FINISH REKKA! BRAVE DRAGON! Vol I: Fire!"
"Fire wave!" Flare said as he stab his sword into the group creating a big wall of fire around the group that push back the spiders and destroy a lot of the in the process, but it seem it wasn't enough as when the flames died down, the spiders still surrounded them as Saber said, "Okay, that was my plan A, anyways with a plan be?"
"We need to hit them all at once for them to be defeated, but even with my speed I cannot be everywhere at once, but I know of a way, Blades will you assist me?" Espada calls out as he has an idea of how to beat all the spiders at once as Blades said, "Sure, what do you need?"
"Follow my lead," Espada said as he soon sheath his sword with Blades doing the same as they both pull the trigger on their swords as they call out.
"READING FINISH!"
"Blades unleashed a wave of water upon all of them." Espada said to him as Blades said, "Got it!" With that Blades pulls out his sword with a blue aura surrounded his sword no doubt the power of his sword was coming forth as it calls out.
"NAGARE UNLEASH LION SLASH! Vol I: Water!"
"Water Ring!" Sky said as she jump into the air and created a ring of water in the air before sending it out creating a mini wave that wash over the spiders, but didn't wash them away with, but they were soaked with water as Espada soon said, "My turn.
He pull his sword out as lightning dance across his sword as he held it out as his sword soon calls out.
"IKAZUCHI UNLEASH! ALANGINA Vol I:Thunder!"
"Lightning Dance!" He calls out as lightning came forth from his sword and rain down upon all the spiders, or the wet ground near them as the lighting hit the water and shocks all the spiders at ones as they all squealed in pain before they poof into dust.
The Spiders were gone as the group high fived each other. "Water conducts electricity, nice." Saber said with a grin under his helm.
"It's common sense after all." Espada said in his matter-of-fact tone.
"That should be all of them." Brandon said while looking to the bugs on the ground.
"I don't know." Bloom said as they all gathered. "Something tells me we're not out of the woods yet." Bloom said which Flare had to agree with his twin.
"Yeah, this seemed too easy." Saber said with Rekka firmly in his hands.
"Hey, let's not sell ourselves short." Stella said as she flew down to the ground. "We simply dealt with the problem efficiently." Stella said but as she said this, she failed to notice the Spiders dust corpses gathering together to form something else. Stella let off a haughty laugh as Saber pointed at the new monster forming.
"Uh Stella you might want to step back!" Saber called out and thus Stella opened her eyes and saw the monster towering over her.
"Move!" Blades called and thus he and Espada jumped in and sliced the creature back. Following it up was Saber as they distracted it enough to make an opening to run.
"Run for it!" Brandon called out and thus they all ran away from the creature.
They ran down the hall as the creature was chasing them down. Saber had to admit the ugly blob was fast despite of its appearance claiming otherwise. "Ok this is getting us nowhere." Saber said as he then took out his Speedy Diago book. "Let's ride!" Saber called out as Blades and Espada both agreed.
Inserting the book Flare sheathed his sword before drawing it again to activate it. "GO BIKE! DIAGO SPEEDY!" The book invoked and from it Sabers bike came into existence once again.
Blades and Espada both proceeded to take out the phones for their own rides. Pressing the needed buttons on their touch screens and in turn activated the battle rides. "RIDER TRIKE! ALRIGHT!" The two smartphones invoked before transforming into the Rider Trikes.
"Sky!" Blades called out to Brandon and thus had him ride with him.
"Riven get on!" Espada added as Riven glared at him.
"Never!" Riven said and then they heard the creature get close while Espada drove at Riven's speed. "Move over!" Riven said and thus got behind Espada.
"Timmy with me!" Saber called and in turn Timmy jumped onto the Speedy Diago before they rode off.
Meanwhile the Winx had similar ideas. "Come on girls lets fly!" Bloom called out and thus they flew after the Riders and Specialists. They zoomed through the halls of Cloud Tower intent on escaping the creature chasing them down.
"How do we get out of here?" Musa asked while she flew near Bloom.
"Honestly, I'm figuring it out as I go." Saber cut in as he revved the engine and picked up speed.
"Well, that's encouraging." Timmy said nervously as he held on to Saber as tight as he could.
"Let's try this way!" Stella called and thus they took a turn to escape the creature. They continued like this before they were forced to stop when a wall came up with a locked door.
"Well, we're trapped." Riven said with a glare to the group.
"What should we do?" Stella asked with fear in her voice.
"Only one option left. We fight." Saber said and in turn they were all ready for their pursuer to arrive. "When he shows up let him have it!" Saber said as the three Riders had their swords drawn ready for battle.
Everyone was ready and soon enough the monster showed up. "Strike!" Bloom called out and in turn the fairies unleashed their magic on the monster. It stunned and weakened it allowing for the Specialists to move in.
"ATTACK!" Saber called out and thus with swords and Phantoblades ready the boys sliced through the monster. Saber and Blades went past it, slicing through its midsection, Riven and Brandon came in slicing it in half, and finally Timmy and Espada sliced the creature into an x formation causing the magic to come undone and in turn it turned to dust in an explosion.
Once it was down, they all regrouped and thus looked amongst each other. "Ok I admit this was a bad idea on my part. Time to go." Saber said ready to get the heck out of Could Tower.
"Just one thing though we have a problem." Stella said pointing to the locked door just before Riven roared before bashing the door open.
"We had a problem." Brandon said and thus they all entered the room on the other side. What they found inside was a whole lot of junk the Witches had possibly tossed in here.
"Wow any idea where we are?" Saber asked looking through the room.
"I've heard of rooms like this, but I never thought they existed." Stella said as she looked through the room in question. "Witches are very messy creatures instead of organizing the library cataloging their stuff they just chuck everything away like that." Stella said gesturing to the room in question.
"Reminds me of Flare's closet." Bloom said as Saber then looked to his sister in shock.
"Hey, you still mad about that one prank?" Saber asked recalling the prank from Gardenia when he stole and hid Blooms favorite Teddy bear.
"You had me dig through your dirty closet for it, what do you think?" Bloom asked accusingly but Saber had a counter.
"Only because you decided to hide the fact you tore apart a valuable autographed baseball." Saber countered recalling the time his dad took him to a baseball game and he got a homerun ball autographed by one of the players.
Bloom glared at her brother knowing they reached an impasse on this argument... again. "Let's agree to disagree." Bloom said with a calm and neutral tone.
"What an earie silence. I have a bad feeling." Musa said until she heard movement and gasped in shock over a large insect on the ground. "A Bakel Monster!" Musa cried out at the creature to which Stella moved into action to intercept the creature.
"Don't worry I'll take care of it." Stella said but Saber quickly saw that this was a bad idea.
"Wait Stella DON'T!" Saber cried out but it was too late to stop her.
"SUNSHOWER!" Stella invoked firing a blast of magic at the creature and thus filled the entire room with smoke.
As it began to clear some there were already fires forming as Saber was the first to bring it up. "Nice going Stella you made a fire in a room filled with flammable materials." Saber said and thus Stella laughed a bit.
"I got it didn't I?" Stella asked only for Flare to point at the fire that was turning into a blaze.
"Yeah, and then some!" Saber cried out and thus Stella was wide eyed over the fire spreading. Flora then began coughing as the smoke filled the room. "And it gets worse in an enclosed space like this the smoke will be super thick and when it fills up our lungs... well if we don't get out soon, we're screwed." Saber said and thus Riven had to ask.
"How do you know this?" Riven asked and thus Flare shrugged to his rival's question.
"My dad is a fire fighter he knows this sort of thing." Saber said and thus looked to the door. "And with the flames blocking the door we're trapped." Saber said and thus they needed a way to get out of here.
Flare and Bloom were starting to panic a bit as they tried to figure out how to get out of this place. 'Dammit what was I thinking?! It's all thanks to me that my friends and Riven about to be made into a BBQ.' Flare thought as he tried to think of a way to get them out of here.
'This is all my fault they're all here because of me.' Bloom thought as she and Flare were having similar thoughts to each other. 'If only I hadn't touched that book none of this would be happening.' Bloom thought but Flare carried on.
'Think what did Dad tell you to do in this sort of situation.' Flare thought as he tried to think of a way out. 'Find an updraft.' Flare mentally realized and started feeling around the wind. When fire forms it creates an updraft which is a sure signal of something of an exit valve for the fire which means an exit for them. 'But where is it?' Flare thought trying to find that exit valve for themselves.
Just then a new voice spoke to the twins getting their attention. "Bloom... Flare..." A voice called to their minds from within the flames. "Come Flare come Bloom." The voice said and thus the twins began to approach the source.
"Bloom Flare what's going on what are you doing?" Stella asked as she saw the two walked forward.
"Oh, great they've lost it, we're doomed." Riven snipped but was surprisingly ignored by Flare.
"Come with me... follow me..." The voice spoke as the twins made their way towards the flames. "I will lead you to safety... trust in Rekka's power." The voice spoke and thus Flare held the sword to the wall and saw how it glowed. Flare then roared and sliced through the fire revealing a hatch of some kind. Bloom for her part opened the hatch allowing them an exit out of this place.
"Wow nice going you two." Blades said patting Saber on the back.
"Way to go you two a win for the twins!" Stella added as she was also impressed with what Bloom pulled off.
"How did you two know?" Espada asked as he was also amazed by this.
But the twins did not respond they got the group worried for a moment. "Uh Flare, Bloom anyone home?" Brandon asked and in turn the twins regained themselves and looked around.
"Wait what happened?" Saber asked as he looked to the group.
"Uh you tell us you and Bloom just zoned out and found a way out of this place." Timmy said but before any more questions could be asked Musa stepped in.
"Can we discuss this later we need to leave like now!" Musa called out and thus that was their signal to get the hell out of the frier. The two groups then all hopped into the hatch and began to slide down the path much to their surprise. They all cried out in caring ways as they had gone in as pairs. Flare and Bloom made one pair, Riven and Musa made another, Timmy and Tecna made a third pair, Brandon and Stella made a pair as well, and thus this left Blades and Espada as the final pair.
They eventually hit the bottom of the tunnel and ended up piling up on each other for it. While the impact may have hurt the fact remained that they were all alive and well. Once they hit the bottom Saber, Blades, and Espada reverted to Flare, Sky, and Amud. "Ok next time I convince everyone that we should pull something like this someone stop me." Flare said and thus Riven smirked to this.
"Noted." Riven said as he was hoping they do so he can punch Flare and get away with it.
(Later)
The Ridex and Winx groups were walking down the tunnel as they followed the bath Flare and Timmy marked earlier. Tinkerbell was lighting the way for them again as they walked through the cave system. "Alright how did you two pull that off?" Tecna asked now that they were out of danger.
"Honestly, I think its nuts, but I heard this voice in my head telling me how to get to safety." Flare said and thus Bloom gasped a bit.
"Me too." Bloom said as she recalled it. "It was a sweet kind voice when it spoke to us through the flames." Bloom said and had more to add but kept it to herself.
"Well, whatever it was it got us out of a hot spot that's for sure." Stella said unknowingly pulling a pun.
"Stella no... just no." Flare said as he did not want to hear fire puns anytime soon.
"Why... we were trapped in what would constitute a hot spot with all the fires surrounding us." Amud said and thus the group looked to him.
"Amud... we need to discuss your thing with taking everything literally." Flare said knowing they needed to teach Amud about expressions.
"I do not understand." Amud said but then a thought occurred. "Which reminds me, Pr Brandon." Amud said as he looked to Sky fully aware of who was who in this deception. "Why did you not employ the use of Nagare and the Lion Senki waterpower to doze the flames?" Amud asked and thus Sky stopped for a second.
"Oh man." Sky said face palming himself for forgetting that he could do that.
"What I say." Riven said taking humor from this.
"Don't worry, we'll just blame it on Riven and call it a day." Flare said and thus Riven growled at Flare. "Though I'd say with a few hiccups we walked off with the spoils." Flare said with a smile on his face.
"That's right I got my Sword Ring back." Stella said showing off said ring. "The Winx and Ridex have the power!" Bloom cheered and thus Flare chuckled to this. They continued down the path until they parted ways with farewells made and promises to see each other next time.
(Scene Break Later Red Fountain)
"It's been a long night." Flare said as he and their squad walked through the halls with a yawn.
"No kidding all the excitement I'm about ready to fall asleep." Timmy said rubbing his eyes a bit.
"Let's just agree to take a sick day and sleep till fall." Brandon said as Sky agreed.
"No argument from me." Sky said as Riven scoffed a bit to his fellow Specialists.
Just then someone cleared their throat and got their attention. Looking the boys saw that it was none other than Codatorta standing there. "You six are in a lot of trouble." Codatorta said and thus the boys all looked shocked by this.
"So, what was that about blaming me and calling it a day?" Riven asked with a glare at Flare.
(Later in the Headmasters Office)
The six Specialists stood in front of the headmaster as they stood upright with hands behind their backs. Saladin sat behind his desk as he met with the six Specialists of his school. "You six seemed to have had an eventful evening." He began with a stern voice as they all stood there. "All things considered it makes sense with the message I received from Head witch Griffin of Cloud Tower." Saladin said and thus the boys knew they were toast. "She claims you six had broken into her school with a group of Fairies from Alfea." He added and thus Flare knew that they were in trouble.
"This sort of behavior is unbecoming of Specialists especially those with your unique traits." Saladin said his voice scolding and stern. "Now what do you six have to say for yourselves?" He asked but then Flare stepped up.
"Sir it was all my idea all of it." Flare said surprising his squad. "I deceived them that this was a special mission assigned to us by you I took advantage of their trust in me to make this mission happen so I can help a friend who had her ring stolen by the Witches." Flare said and thus Saladin looked to the group. "They were unaware of my actions until you brought us in." Flare finished and in turn the Squad found themselves surprised Flare was taking the blame for them.
'What is that idiot doing throwing himself under the bus like that.' Riven thought shocked that Flare would do this.
"That is a bold move your making Flare." Codatorta said as he looked to Flare.
Saladin then raised his hand to have Codatorta to stand down. "Indeed. What do you suppose should be done with you?" Saladin asked as he looked to Flare.
"I suppose... expulsion may be on the table." Flare said sounding resigned to this possibility.
Riven looked annoyed as all get out as he would NOT let Flare take the easy way out. "He's lying sir!" Riven suddenly spoke up much to the shock of Sky, Brandon, and Timmy. "It was his idea, but we all agreed to it knowing full well the risks." Riven said as he looked to the headmaster.
"Riven what are you doing?" Flare asked as he'd rather he get in trouble and not his friends plus Riven.
"You're not getting out that easy." Riven said making it clear that Flare and he still had their score to settle.
"He's right, sir we all willingly and knowingly took part in this unauthorized excursion." Brandon said as Squad Leader Sky. Timmy nodded in agreement while Amud stepped forward to take Flare's side.
"I see." Saladin said and thus looked between the Specialists. "Very well four the time being you four are on probation I shall decide upon your punishment later." Saladin said and thus the group looked surprised. "Dismissed." He said and thus the group took their leave of the Headmasters office.
(Later Outside)
The group arrived at the courtyard of Alfea and during this Flare walked over to Riven. "Hey Riven." Flare began and thus Riven glared at Flare. "Thanks for having my back, you didn't have to speak up like that though." Flare said and thus Riven scoffed to this.
"Like I said you're not getting off that easy." Riven said making it clear that he only did it for his dislike of Flare.
"Still... thanks." Flare said and thus he winced in pain. "Geez thanking you without sarcasm is painful." Flare said and thus Riven smirked to this. "So Riven, friends?" Flare asked before Riven mockingly scoffed to this.
"We never were." Riven said and thus he walked off a bit.
"Well unlike Riven you didn't have to take the fall for us." Sky said to Flare with an arm around his shoulders.
"He's right we're a squad we rise together, or we fall together." Brandon said making it clear that Flare was part of their group now.
"Besides if you're not here, who will I play video games with?" Timmy asked adjusting his glasses a bit.
"And help us get Amud to understand expressions so they don't fly right over his head?" Sky added pointing a thumb to Amud.
"Nothing flies over my head that way my reflects will allow for me to catch it." Amud said only proving their point when he countered the group.
Flare smiled to this as he then laughed with the group as well. For the first time in Flare's life, he actually had a group of friends he can count on... yes even Riven.
(Meanwhile back at the Headmasters office)
Saladin and Codatorta watched as the squad went out to the main courtyard before the Headmaster, chuckled a bit. "That boy is like watching a younger Anton." Saladin said as he watched Flare interacting with his squad.
"Only seen the man when I was but a lad in training never got to personally meet the infamous captain of Domino's Royal guard." Codatorta said as he stood near the headmaster.
"Yes, Flare and Anton are very similar to each other the difference is that experience had tempered Anton." Salazin said as he then turned his attention back to his office. "Flare on the other hand is young and inexperienced." Salazin said and thus Codatorta looked to his boss.
"Sounds like your fond of the boy." He said and thus Salazin chuckled.
"Perhaps... or perhaps I'm simply curious to see the type of swordsman and specialist he will become." Salazin said as he wanted to see if Flare can carry on Anton's legacy. "I suppose we can only wait and see." Salazin said and thus he focused on the tasks for the day and what punishment to give the squad for their unauthorized excursion last night.
