The legalities. I do not own any of the Librarians franchise (characters, places, and objects especially) and this is mostly au. Rated M just to be on the safe side.
Also, please don't be afraid to write reviews. I would love to hear from you all!

Prompt: "Are you insane?"
"Do you really want me to answer that?"
"So, where exactly are you sending me?"
Charlene chuckled as she held the plane tickets out to Ra, who was looking at them like she thought that they would bite her. "Portland. While, as the Archivist, you don't really have the need to leave the Library all too often, you still need to travel to the Annex every so often to check on it. That's where you're going."
Ra furrowed her brow before finally taking the tickets. "The Annex?"
"Oh, you'll figure it out when you get there. Now, where are those directions from the airport and that key?"
~~~Annex Meetings~~~Annex Meetings~~~Annex Meetings~~~Annex Meetings~~~
Ra still couldn't quite understand why she was here. Charlene had just said that she needed to "check on" the Annex. Luckily, what the Annex was turned out to be pretty self-explanatory. After she had found the entrance tucked into the footing of a bridge, it was easy enough for her to gain access (she had a key, after all). Everything seemed to be in order, so now, she was trying to figure out what to do, since her flight back to Manhattan wasn't until the morning.
Having a little epiphany, Ra began to walk around the main area, grabbing books from the shelves as she went. The Archivist realized quickly that she could access any book in the Library here and had begun to accumulate the ones that she needed for some research. She had the books stacked so high that she didn't realize that someone else was in the room until a haughty voice cut through her thoughts.
"What are you doing? Are you insane?"
Ra scoffed before she maneuvered to the table, set her stack down, and then turned to the voice, which belonged to a tall, older-looking man who was glaring at her. She shrugged. "Do you really want me to answer that?"
He narrowed his eyes at her before walking close enough to loom over her. "Who. Are. You?"
The Archivist just looked up at him with one raised eyebrow, unphased by his threatening demeanor. Reaching out her hand, she opted for a more welcoming approach. "Let's start over. Hello, my name is Aurora York, but you can call me Ra. I've been the Archivist for the Metropolitan Public Library for the last almost four years. I was sent to check in on this place, I believe it's called the Annex, but Charlene. And you?"
He backed up slightly, giving her a calculated look before taking her out-stretched hand. "I am Jenkins. This is my space, so please try not to disturb it."
"I'll do my best to, but as I am not scheduled to fly out until the morning, I make no promises. Now, since I have a feeling that I may be sent here often, could you possibly suggest some realtors or the like? I may need a place to stay."
