Prompt: "For God's sake! Who have you killed now?"

"Charlene, have you seen my notebook? I swear that that man purposely hides my shit."

Ra looked up from where she had just started looking through piles on Charlene's desk to see said woman standing by the elevator, looking amused. Standing next to her was another blonde woman, this one a few inches taller than Ra, who gave off a more imposing aura. The Archivist raised her eyebrow before speaking again, looking at Charlene.

"Oh, for God's sake, who have you killed now?"

Charlene's eyes sparkled as she beckoned the Archivist over just as the elevator opened up. Once they were in it, Charlene spoke for the first time. "Oh, don't worry. No one has died as of yet. The Library has sent out another envelope!"

The Archivist raised her eyebrow as she could see the other blonde looking at the numbers going fast on the wall. "I'm guessing that that is why she is here?"

"Yes. This Colonel Eve Baird and she will be joining us from NATO counterterrorism."

"Ah." Ra turned to the colonel with her hand extended, which the other woman took a bit hesitantly. The Archivist smiled. "I'm Aurora Jade York, but you can call me AJ or RA. I am the Archivist here, meaning that I ensure that the artifacts that are returned to the Library are catalogued and stored correctly."

"I haven't explained the Library yet."

This caused Ra to roll her eyes as the elevator opened to show the vast expanse that was the Library. "Well, then. Colonel Baird, in simple terms, the Library collects ancient knowledge and ensures that magic, real magic, that is, doesn't fall into the wrong hands."

By the end of her explanation, Colonel Baird was about halfway down the steps in front of them, looking around with wide eyes. "Wait, this, this is real?"

The Archivist was fighting back a smirk as Charlene took over now. "You got the white envelope, an invitation to join the Library, which means that the Library needs your expertise. Welcome to our secret world, Colonel Baird. Welcome to the Library."

It was at this moment that Flynn made his presence known, laughing as he came in sparring with Excalibur, a necktie around his forehead for some unknown reason. Ra rolled her eyes as she passed Colonel Baird, ignoring what ever the Librarian was saying to the sword. As she passed him, the Archivist turned back towards the stairs and spoke while continuing to walk backwards. "And meet the Librarian."

Once she finished speaking, Ra turned her heel and made her way back to the workroom. There was till something vexing both her and Flynn about the man who'd been killed on the steps upstairs. Very vexing indeed.
