Jaune was the first to regain his composure. His eyes flickered with a range of emotions… from sadness, anger, distrust, and, finally, a faint glimmer of understanding. His expression hardened, not in hostility, but in thoughtfulness. He looked at Pyrrha as though studying her carefully, trying to reconcile what he saw with what he felt.

It was as if he barely recognized her, yet there was something so painfully familiar.

Pyrrha stood her ground, her heart aching as she observed the conflicted expressions of her friends. She didn't know what to say, how to explain herself, or even if she should.

"I'm not her," Pyrrha said softly, her voice steady but tinged with sorrow. "At least… not the one you know."

The words hung in the air like a heavy weight, the silence that followed almost unbearable.

Weiss was the first to protest. "That's impossible! You're a bit older, sure, but we'd never mistake you for anyone else!"

"She's right!" Ruby added, her voice trembling as she stepped forward. "You're Pyrrha. I don't care what you say!"

Nora tried to rush toward Pyrrha, her eyes filled with desperation, but Pyrrha instinctively raised her hand. Her Semblance flared to life, holding Nora in place before she could reach her. It wasn't aggressive or harsh... it was gentle, a silent plea to keep her distance.

Nora struggled against the invisible force, her expression turning from desperation to frustration. "Why are you stopping me? Pyrrha!"

Ren, who had been standing quietly beside her, finally found his voice. He had been watching Pyrrha closely, his sharp eyes catching details that the others might have missed. "You're… not Pyrrha," he said slowly, "at least… not the Pyrrha we knew, right?"

The protests came immediately. Ruby shook her head, refusing to believe it. Weiss opened her mouth to argue, and even Yang's usual confidence wavered as she tried to process the idea.

But Jaune… Jaune remained silent.

His gaze lingered on Pyrrha, and in that silence, she saw the truth. He knew. Somehow, he already knew.

"Yes," Pyrrha confirmed, her voice steady. "I am not."

Jaune's lips tightened into a thin line, and he let out a deep, shuddering breath. A sad smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. "I… somewhat know."

Pyrrha's heart ached at his words. She noticed his left hand clenching into a fist, the knuckles turning white from the pressure. She wanted to say something, to comfort him, but she couldn't find the words.

Jaune turned away from the group, his shoulders slumping slightly. "This isn't the first time we've seen someone… from another world," he said quietly, his voice tinged with exhaustion. "And she's not her.. Our Pyrrha... never had the chance to grew up."

Team RWBY exchanged uneasy glances, the weight of his words slowly sinking in. Ruby looked at Jaune, her silver eyes wide with concern, while Weiss frowned, clearly wrestling with her emotions. Yang folded her arms, her usual confidence replaced with an uncharacteristic uncertainty.

Ren and Nora, however, were still processing.

"But…" Nora's voice cracked as she struggled against Pyrrha's hold. "It's her. It has to be her. I know it is!"

Pyrrha closed her eyes briefly, summoning the strength to release her Semblance. The invisible force holding Nora back dissipated, and Nora, finally free, didn't hesitate.

She rushed forward, her arms wrapping tightly around Pyrrha in a fierce, almost desperate hug. Tears streamed down Nora's cheeks as she buried her face against Pyrrha's shoulder.

Pyrrha stiffened for a moment, startled by the sudden contact, but then she slowly raised her arms and returned the embrace.

"I'm… sorry," Pyrrha whispered, her voice breaking. "But… I'm not your Pyrrha…"

Nora clung to her tightly, as if letting go would mean losing her all over again. Ren stood nearby, his gaze steady but filled with a quiet sorrow.

Jaune remained where he was, his back turned to the scene. His posture was rigid, his hands clenched at his sides as he fought to keep his emotions in check.

Ruby took a hesitant step forward, her silver eyes glistening with unshed tears. "Pyrrha," she began softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "Even if you're… not the same Pyrrha we knew, you're still… you. That has to mean something."

Pyrrha looked up, meeting Ruby's gaze. The sincerity in her words was almost overwhelming, and for a moment, Pyrrha didn't know how to respond.

"I…" Pyrrha started, her voice faltering. "I'm trying to understand why I'm here. Why… Autumn's Semblance brought me here."

Weiss frowned. "Autumn?"

"Long story," Pyrrha said, shaking her head. "But I… I'm not here to replace her. I could never do that."

Yang stepped forward, her golden eyes narrowed, but not unkindly. "We're not asking you to replace her," she said firmly. "But if you're here… then maybe you're supposed to be."

Pyrrha's green eyes softened as she looked at Yang, then at each of her old friends in turn. Despite everything, despite the confusion and the pain, they were still the same people she remembered.

And yet, they weren't.

"I don't know," Pyrrha admitted. "But… thank you. For believing in me, even when I don't know if I can believe in myself."

Nora finally let go of her, stepping back with a small sniffle. "You don't have to figure it all out right now," she said, her usual cheerfulness tinged with melancholy. "But we're here for you. No matter what."

Ren nodded silently in agreement, his calm demeanor offering a quiet reassurance.

Jaune finally turned around, his blue eyes meeting Pyrrha's. The sadness in his gaze was almost unbearable, but there was also a flicker of hope. Buried within that multitude of sadness.

"If you're here," he said, his voice steady, "then we'll find out why. ."

Pyrrha felt a lump form in her throat, but she managed a small, grateful nod.

Pyrrha sat with Team RWBY and JNPR, her hands gripping her knees as she tried to steady herself. The room was heavy with tension, every word she spoke sinking deeper into their hearts.

She explained everything. Their own battles in her world, the horrifying state of Menagerie, the unrelenting Grimm, and the monstrous experiments of Dr. Merlot. Her voice shook at times, but she remained composed, recounting it all with the clarity of someone who had been hardened by experience.

As she detailed the atrocities Merlot had committed, turning Faunus into Hounds, and the grim battles they had fought to survive, Blake's face paled. Her fists clenched tightly, her knuckles turning white. Ruby listened intently, her silver eyes wide with shock, while Yang's brows furrowed in frustration and anger. Even Weiss, who often prided herself on composure, looked visibly shaken.

"This… this is horrifying," Blake said, her voice barely above a whisper.

Pyrrha nodded solemnly. "It was. I… I thought I had seen the worst of what the Grimm could do, but Merlot's creations…" She trailed off, her gaze distant, as if recalling something she would rather forget.

Ruby, her voice trembling slightly, asked, "But Autumn… who is she? You mentioned her before. What does she look like? What's her deal?"

Pyrrha hesitated for a moment, considering her words carefully. "Autumn… she's odd. She looks a lot like you, Ruby. Silver eyes, a red cloak—she even wields your mother's weapon, Sundered Rose, from what I heard from Ruby. But she's… different. Older, stronger. She trained me in my world, taught me to refine my techniques. Without her, I'm not sure I would have survived against the fighting."

Ruby's brow furrowed in confusion. "She has my mom's weapon?"

"Yes," Pyrrha confirmed. "She never explained how she got it, but she carried it with her everywhere. She spoke of your mother with a great deal of respect."

Jaune and Ruby exchanged looks.

"Ruby… do you think?"

"Maybe… I don't now."

Jaune turned to Pyrrha… "And me?" he asked, his voice tinged with curiosity and a hint of envy. "What was… the other me like?"

Pyrrha looked at him, her green eyes softening. "He was… talented. The Jaune I know had been trained by his Master when he was young, from what I heard from. He could also call Juniper, his… companion, with a whistle. He is decisive, brave, and strong. A true leader."

Hearing this filled Jaune with mixed emotions. A flicker of jealousy danced in his eyes, but there was also a trace of pride and hope. "Juniper?" he asked, his voice quieter. "Wait, you know her?"

"Yes," Pyrrha said. "The Jackalope. He and Autumn would summon her to help us in battle sometimes. Can you try to call him?"

Curiosity piqued, Jaune stood and raised two fingers to his lips, attempting a sharp whistle.

The room fell silent as everyone listened, but there was no response.

Pyrrha frowned, her brows knitting together. "That's… strange. It should have worked."

"Maybe it's different here," Jaune offered with a shrug, though he seemed slightly disappointed. "I think there' are a lot of things that are different."

"You got that right," Weiss commented, wondering how the other Jaune was.

They all exchanged glances, each of them trying to piece together the puzzle. Ruby spoke up hesitantly, "Then… do you think… maybe the Mother sent you here for a reason? From what you've told us, she seems like the one who sent you here, not Autumn."

Pyrrha considered Ruby's words carefully. "Perhaps," she admitted. "I just wish I knew what that reason was."

Blake crossed her arms, her golden eyes narrowing. "If that's the case, then what's the purpose? What does the Blacksmith want you to learn here?"

"Maybe it's not just about learning," Weiss interjected. "Maybe it's about seeing. Understanding."

Pyrrha's eyes turned to Jaune, who seemed lost in thought. "What do you think, Jaune?"

He looked up, his gaze steady but thoughtful like he's finding Pyrrha's presence so... disturbing.

"Maybe the Mother wanted you to see what could happen. To understand the stakes are here."

Pyrrha tilted her head. "What do you mean?"

"Think about it," Jaune began, leaning forward slightly. "Your world… it might be heading toward the same kind of war we're facing here. Maybe the Mother wanted you to see what's at stake if Salem isn't stopped."

Pyrrha's breath hitched. "Salem?"

"Yes," Blake said grimly. "The true enemy we're facing. The one behind the Grimm and the bastards who cornered us here.."

They explained everything to her — Ozma and Salem's eternal conflict, the relics, and the wars that had been waged in their wake. They told her about their journey so far, their battles against Salem's forces, and the losses they had endured.

By the end of it, Pyrrha looked utterly shaken. So what's how she died… Beacon fell… there was so much change?

"This… this is what you're fighting against?"

Jaune nodded. "And it's what we'll keep fighting against."

Pyrrha sat back, her hands gripping her knees. "If my world is heading in this direction… if this is the future we're facing…"

Jaune leaned forward, his blue eyes locked onto hers. "Then maybe the Mother wanted you to see it before it's too late. To learn from it."

Pyrrha shook her head, her thoughts racing.

"Do you have… the Lamp of Knowledge in your world?" Ruby asked decisively. "It looks like you guys don't know at all."

"No," Pyrrha answered, her voice shaking. "We… we don't even know about it."

"And what about Headmaster Leonardo?" Jaune pressed.

Pyrrha looked at him, confusion flashing across her face. "What about him?"

Jaune's expression darkened. "He's a traitor. Working with Salem. There's a chance he's manipulating everyone."

The blood drained from Pyrrha's face. "That's… that's not possible."

Weiss stepped forward, placing a hand on her hip. "It seems like your world and ours have a lot in common," she said dryly. "But not everything's the same. If Ironwood's as paranoid in your world as he was in ours… well, I'd be worried, too."

Pyrrha's heart sank as the weight of their words settled in. She had come here searching for answers, but the truths she had uncovered were heavier than she could have imagined.

She looked at Jaune, her voice barely above a whisper. "If that's true… if this is what's coming… then I have to go back. I have to warn them."

Jaune nodded, his expression bittersweet. "Then we'll figure out how to get you back. Somehow."

Pyrrha lowered her head, unsure how to take it all in.

But before she could process everything. The piercing sound of an alarm cut through the noise, reverberating off the walls and shaking everyone out of their thoughts.

"What's that?" Pyrrha asked, her voice tense as she instinctively reached for her weapons.

"It's an alarm for Grimm activity," Blake explained, her Faunus ears twitching as she strained to listen. "And it's close. Too close."

Ruby quickly moved to the nearest control panel, pulling up a feed from the city's outer defenses. Her silver eyes widened in horror as the screen displayed an incoming wave of Grimm — From Beowolves, Ravagers, Nevermores, and even more..

"It's a full swarm," Ruby said, her voice tight with urgency.

Jaune clenched his fists, his mind already racing. "How far out are they?"

"Not far," Weiss answered, her fingers dancing over her Scroll as she analyzed the data Ruby had pulled up. "At this rate, they'll breach the city's outer perimeter in less than ten minutes."

"We don't have time to waste," Yang said, cracking her knuckles as she activated Ember Celica. "Let's move."

The group sprang into action. Blake grabbed Gambol Shroud, its ribbon snapping taut as she secured it. Weiss summoned a glyph beneath her feet, ready to launch herself into battle. Ruby adjusted Crescent Rose, locking the scythe into its rifle configuration as her eyes flickered with determination.

Pyrrha watched them move with practiced precision, a team honed by countless battles. For a moment, she felt a pang of guilt — this wasn't her world, and these weren't her battles to fight. But the sight of the Grimm on the screen, the sheer number of them, banished her hesitation. She might not belong here, but she wasn't about to stand by and watch this city fall.

"I'm coming with you," Pyrrha declared, gripping Milo and Akuo tightly.

Jaune looked at her, his expression serious but understanding. "Are you sure?"

"I am," she said firmly. "I might not be the Pyrrha, you know, but I'm still a Huntress."

Jaune nodded, a flicker of admiration crossing his face. "Alright. Let's go."

The streets of Vacuo were chaos.

The swarm had already reached the outskirts of the city, and Huntsmen and Huntresses were scrambling to contain the breach. Pyrrha and the others arrived just as the first wave of Grimm broke through the outer defenses.

Beowolves tore through the streets, their claws raking against stone and metal. Ravagers swooped low, picking off stragglers. A massive Ursa Major barreled through a line of Huntsmen, scattering them like leaves in the wind.

"Team RWBY, on me!" Ruby shouted, taking charge as Crescent Rose barked with gunfire. She launched herself into the fray, cutting through Beowolves with a flurry of precise strikes. Yang followed closely, her gauntlets roaring as she unleashed explosive punches that sent Grimm flying.

Weiss and Blake worked in tandem, Weiss's glyphs creating pathways and barriers while Blake darted between enemies, her blade a blur of motion.

"Team JNPR, let's split up!" Jaune ordered. "Ren, Nora, you cover the east side. Pyrrha and I will hold the main street!"

"Got it!" Ren called, his voice calm even in the chaos. He and Nora veered off, Ren's pistols firing in controlled bursts while Nora charged into the thick of the battle, her hammer swinging with destructive force.

Pyrrha and Jaune positioned themselves at the center of the fight, where the Grimm were thickest. Pyrrha's movements were fluid and precise, her spear darting in and out as she targeted the Grimm's weak points. A Ravager swooped down toward her, but she spun gracefully, deflecting its claws with her shield before delivering a fatal thrust to its chest.

Jaune stood by her side, Crocea Mors gleaming as he swung the blade in wide arcs. His strikes were powerful, each one landing with enough force to cleave through multiple Grimm at once.

"Keep them contained!" Jaune shouted, his voice cutting through the chaos.

"Got it!" Pyrrha responded, slamming her shield into a charging Beowolf and sending it sprawling.

Above them, a Nevermore let out an ear-splitting screech as it dove toward the group. Weiss reacted instantly, summoning a massive glyph that froze the creature mid-flight. Ruby leaped onto its back, driving Crescent Rose into its spine and bringing it crashing to the ground.

The tide of Grimm seemed endless. For every one they killed, two more took its place. And then Pyrrha saw it — a massive figure emerged from the darkness, its hulking form dwarfing the other Grimm. It was a Grimm unlike anything Pyrrha had seen before, with jagged spines protruding from its back and glowing red eyes that seemed to pierce through her.

"What is that?" Pyrrha asked, her voice barely above a whisper.

Jaune followed her gaze, his face paling. "I don't know… but it's heading straight for us."

The creature let out a deafening roar, its sheer presence causing the other Grimm to momentarily falter. It charged toward them, its massive claws tearing through the ground as it moved.

Pyrrha and Jaune braced themselves. "Stay close," Jaune said, his voice steady despite the fear in his eyes.

"I will," Pyrrha promised, tightening her grip on her weapons.

The creature lunged at them, its claws swiping with terrifying speed. Pyrrha ducked under the attack, her shield coming up to deflect a follow-up strike. Jaune countered, driving his blade into the creature's side, but it did little damage.

"It's tough!" Jaune groaned.

"Aura slashes!" Pyrrha replied. Now!"

Together, they infused Aura in their swords and then lashed out, beheading the Grimm. Nodding at Pyrrha, Jaune focused back on the Grimm that was still swarming inside the city.
