ICBPenguin: Glad to hear!
Guest1: Can't update any faster, I'm getting overloaded with work and I'm thinking of starting another story but don't worry it's not going to take months for me to update once.
Death Fury: Thank you!
B10H: I do know what you mean. But Ben got martial arts training when he was 14-15 he wouldn't really surprise anyone with any skills. Sure he has some survival instincts and some dodging/fighting capabilities since being trapped in the Null Void but that about it.
Wahid Alam: Thank you, however, I am updating as fast as I can.
Guest2: Ben/Bigchill already had his babies since he's sixteen.
RedBurningDragon: THE WORLD WOULD END! No but seriously he could probably become more powerful then the League with just Upgrade at that point.
Kevin06x: I think it came from TheIncredibleMuffin with a crossover with the animated Justice League series and that became what everyone based their fics off of. I mean I've seen the trope in Justice league (a lot) young justice hell even Avengers EMH crossovers. You'll see that in this chapter where Ben uses his 'Brainy aliens' to learn more about the species. Oh and I totally agree, people have a habit of downplaying Ben's aliens to make it seem like he's going up against actual threats. Don't worry Ben is already affecting the story now. What do you think Eon and Vilgax are just going to try to get the Omnitrix to fail then leave? No, no, no my friend. The stealing/ hacking the Omnitrix never made sense because even If it was, somehow, hacked then that still means villains would need the DNA samples if they try to create their own Omnitrix. Glad you like the story!
The Moist Crusader: Good to hear! I want to have as many aliens as possible while also not making it overwhelming. Ben being in the Null Void should make him more smarter and versatile with his aliens which is what I'm going for. Don't worry Gray matter actually makes an appearance in this chapter. Lol definitely don't want it being 'Power Rangers' repetitive.
Rushing Shotgun: He doesn't meet the team, in this chapter at least but he is in this chapter.
William Escobar 608: Tal vez ponga los limones en una historia diferente y se relacione directamente con esta. No soy bueno en español, así que espero que todo esto tenga sentido.
TennysonForce: Agreed! YA HEAR THAT DEATH BATTLE! Sorry I just… still can't belive they were that stupid… not turning this into a debat but I'm just gonna name three that could crush Hal in a fight which are, Upgrade, Cromastone and Toothpick. Toothpick can have people see their worst fear when they look at him (something that sounds directly capable of taking down a Green Lantern), Cromastone could literally just absorb any construct Hal could make and Upgrade in practically invincible and can morph with the Green Lantern ring and either dismantle it or turn it on Hal.
Alright to the chapter!
Unknown Location
"This is the end, Tennyson!" Vilgax roared out holding his sword in his right hand with his left gesturing to his foe.
Ben looked up at the villain, his vision was blurry and fading. He fiddled with his watch trying to pick out the best alien to use in this situation until it landed on one particular hologram he had never seen before.
"You still can't win, Tennyson, no matter what you do!" He switched his sword to be handled by his left arm with his golden gauntlet.
His right hand suddenly becoming blurry all on its own until a dark purple aura surrounded it, Vilgax grew to at least ten times his original size, the tentacles that made up his body becoming more muscular. Then, finally, a rock-like substance surrounded his body and reformed the pale green tentacles. His eyes glowed a darker red.
"Not so fast, Vilgax!" Ben slams down the dial to the Omnitrix as an emerald light surrounds his body. "It's Hero time!"
Ben had now become a being that seemed to a whole universe in itself. He had to be at least 6 feet tall, something kind of crown as his head.
"Alien-X!" The sound of thunder roared through the battlefield as the two beings stared off at each other.
Vilgax's eyes shot lasers hot enough to melt a planet in half as Alien-X shot his hand up ready for the attack and right when it was about to collide-
Bang!
"OW!" Ben shouted, suddenly falling off his bed with another bang. "Ow again!"
Ben slowly brought himself up from the ground rubbing his aching head. Once he looked at the wall next to the bed and saw a bit of a dent in it, he could tell what happened. He suddenly got too excited in his dream and moved so suddenly that he smashed his head on the wall.
"Nice Ben… real nice…"
Mount Justice, August 4th: 03:30 AM
Ben went to the lounge area and plopped himself on the couch, messaging his temple then with his other hand resting his head on an ice pack. After a while of sitting still he took out his phone to look at it's reflection. He noticed it was slightly red but it wasn't bleeding nor was it a big wound.
He sighed in relief and went to put away the ice pack while also grabbing a pen and pencil. He quickly went through the playlist in the Omnitrix and slapped down the dial.
Quickly he morphed into a small humanoid frog-like creature, it wore a green a black bodysuit and had big eyes with rectangular slits for pupils.
"Grey Matter!" The frog creature jumped onto the couch and picked up the pen that was a few centimeters taller than him, he then started to write on the paper muttering about his alien powers.
He drew several pictures from Four Arms, Upchuck, Blitzwolfer and Cromastone. Each one had several notes attached to them. This was sort of a hobby of Ben's, going into his smartest alien forms and finding new ways to use his aliens.
Already when transforming into new aliens the Omnitrix sends the data and instincts into his mind. Their powers and skills were instantly known to him after the Omnitrix recalibration but it didn't give him any information on how to fight with it or use it to it's best advantage.
Take Cannonbolt for example, his race is filled with aliens with the same powers as him, however, when they wrap themselves into balls they don't use it as a weapon they more use it as a way of transportation. It was Ben's creativeness to use Cannonbolt's body as a wrecking ball.
He wanted to use that same creativity and Grey Matter's 'smarts' as a way to make more use out of each one of them. And with that Grey Matter jumped off the couch and in a bright flash of light transformed back into Ben. He took the paper and pen and walked to the garage entrance to the cave.
"Well I annoyed Batman to the point he gave me this licence, might as well use it." Ben states going through his aliens and slamming down the dial. He was then replaced by a small red humanoid-like creature that resembled a lot like a devil. "Juryrigg!"
Juryrigg jumped up and down and sprinted towards the tons of machine laying on the ground, almost as if a kid ate a crap ton of sugar. Juryrigg spun around the machine parts while he put them together creating a motorcycle that had his color scheme of green and black.
Ben quickly transformed back into human and smirked at it.
"Alright let's take this for a test drive."
Gotham, August 4th: 05:00 AM
Ben had to have driven for hours now, ignoring speed limits and just going his very fastest. It took him some time to adjust to the ride, after all he has never ridden a motorcycle before. Thankfully, he was a quick learner.
He looked down at the steering wheel and saw a holographic screen popped up that had a beeping red light.
"A robbery?" His new motorcycle was made from multiple high tech gadgets so of course he programmed a simple command of whenever a crime was taking place he would get an alert. He quickly changed directions of where he was going and drove off to the bank being robbed.
The cops already outside of the bank were currently trying to reason with the robber but to no avail as the door suddenly started to freeze and then exploded to shards.
Killer Frost walked out of the bank still in her prison clothes since she only broke out of prison about a day ago. "Killer Frost, stand down or we will fire!" The police commissioner Jim Gordan announced to a speaker.
"Fire," Killer Frost smirks and holds out her hand. Jim noticed this and ducked behind one of the police cars. A few policemen repeated this action but not all made it as they were frozen in place by a blizzard of cold wind. "I hate fire!"
Jim popped his head out from the back of the car and fired a couple of rounds at the woman. But right when they got near her they froze and lost all force making them fall to the ground.
'So much for the plan, maybe now they will take me to Belle Reve instead of Arkham.' She thought holding out another hand towards Jim Gordan. Icicles shot at Jim and got ready to impale him but fire that heated Jim's very core and made his face go red from the intense flames, shot by him and melted the icicles in the blink of an eye.
The fire didn't stop there and hit Killer Frost in the stomach. The remaining policeman turned to where the fireball came from to see a large magma and fire humanoid creature.
"Heatblast doesn't like the cold either, honey!" Heatblast says with a large smirk appearing on his face. Killer Frost slowly stood up looking at the creature.
"What the hell are you!?" Killer Frost growls, she knew Gotham was home to all kinds of freaks, but she never heard of this one before.
"Heatblast, Frosty, now that we're done with introductions," Both superpowered beings fried their respective elements at one another. Frost almost lost her footing immediately and growled at the alien.
She wanted to get caught in the first place, but by Batman, not this… freak. She didn't seem to last even a minute after her powers gave out on her and she was hit back with a large fireball.
She flew right back into the bank and slid across the floor before she was knocked out.
The police turned to Heatblast in shock. Some even pointed their weapons at him at first before Jim Gordan held up his hand.
"Thank you, so what? Is the Bat busy or something?" Jim asked and Heatblast raised a brow before realizing that this was Batman's city.
"Nope, just here doing my Hero thing." Ben noticed some of the policemen and even Jim cringe slightly at his answer. After all, any hero in Batman's city usually didn't get a warm welcome from the Dark Knight.
"Then I recommend staying away from Batman, he's not one to like other heroes in his city. Although I'm not really opposed to it at the moment, there are crimes all over the city and Batman can't even keep up with all of them." Jim then received a message on his walky talky and turned around, listening to the message he sighed. "Speaking of which…" He says turning around. "Thanks agai-" Once he turned he saw no one was standing there. Another sigh escaped his lips as he messaged his head with his fingers. "Leave when I'm talking, that never gets old."
Ben quickly got back onto his bike and checked the city for any robberies. What he found shocked him since he saw every bank in Gotham was currently being robbed. He quickly hopped on his bike and drove off into the city.
Gotham, August 4th: 06:00 AM
"Hello there! License and registration please," Spidermonkey asked, holding his hand out expectantly through the window that he just punched in. The driver let out an impressive amount of curses. "Ooh, ooh, you kiss your mother with that mouth?" Spidermonkey gasped as he grabbed the man's shirt and slammed him forward.
His head bounced off the steering wheel and when he leaned back to hold his broken nose, it gave Ben the chance to shoot a web from his tail on his face.
"Ooh, ooh, let me" he said as he pulled him out of the vehicle. The man let out a shout as he flailed helplessly into the air before being suspended by a web. Spidermonkey slid into the truck and slammed on the breaks. The car lurched and the tires skidded, before coming to a stop.
The man fumbled with the keys for a moment before giving Ben a helpless look.
After making his exit, he swung upwards onto a building and transformed back into his normal self. Ben quickly scaled down the building, jumped down onto the fire escape, then an old pipe that was mounted onto the building and then again jumping on a trash can. Ben then walked up to his bike and hopped on top of it and pulled up the map of the city's bank.
'Alright, just one group left,' Ben thought to himself. 'Just need to kick some ass and find out where they're bringing the money to. It's obvious with their costumes and face paint they're all in the same gang, but I haven't gotten any answers yet.' He could have asked the robber that he just webbed up, however, he already heard the sirens of the police cars and the past few crimes he stopped tonight he had the displeasure of running into groups of cops that were offended by his alien's appearance.
"Arg, I should have just stayed in bed!" The sound of his motor turning on and the smell of burnt rubber took over the area as Ben took off into the night.
He arrived fairly quickly giving the bank a onceover. Several gunshots were heard and only one person ran out holding her purse. Made sense that almost no one was up. It was still so early in the morning. He got up from his motorcycle and went through his playlist of aliens.
The robbers held their guns up to the man behind the desk telling him to pick up the paste. The plywood door exploded into a shower of splinters, earning a surprised shout from the gunmen before they thought to pull the trigger. By the time the room erupted in gunfire, Ben was already in the room. His appearance is that of a giant humanoid diamond creature with two green eyes and a black bodysuit.
His foot connected to the chest of one gunman, knocking the wind out of him and sending the man backward. As Ben was carried forward by his momentum, he grabbed the barrel of the gun that the second man carried.
The man pulled the trigger but the bullets just bounced off him. Diamonds formed around the gun encasing it with crystals, ripping the gun out of his hands but carrying him by the strap around his shoulders. The gunman was pulled off balance by Ben grabbing the gun and he started to follow him with his momentum. Once the gunman was close enough, Diamondhead lashed out and socked him in the face, rattling his teeth.
Ben landed on his feet and looked over his shoulder at the last two men. Both were looking at him with a stunned expression, clearly unprepared for an alien creature kicking the door in and incapacitating their guards in seconds.
Diamondhead let his fingers go completely loose then he gripped them with enough force to crush a boulder in one hand. He then slammed them into the ground, shaking the building, knocking the robbers off balance. Then a column of diamond's came up from the ground and latched onto both men.
The columns rose into the air and then stopped right before they hit the ceiling. Ben then shoved his hands out of the ground and whipped them clean on any debri.
"Well, that was easy," Ben chucked to himself, even though he knew he just said a bad word in situations like this. "Alright, here's the deal! Tell me where I can find your boss and you can come down!"
Gotham, August 4th: 06:10 AM
Batman picked up a thug by the throat before slamming him down on a crate, making it explode in a cloud of dust and splinters. Turning on his heel, he turned around and grabbed the pipe aimed at his head before yanking it out of the man's hands as he planted a fist into his stomach, almost lifting him off the ground. The second thug fell to his knees, gasping for breath but Batman didn't hesitate to hit him in the temple with the makeshift weapon, knocking him out.
Silently, he turned around and observed the building filled with bodies of groaning men and women. Most of them had arms or legs jutting out at unnatural angles, making sure they couldn't use the guns that laid near them even if they wanted to.
"Just finished up at warehouse thirteen," he heard Robin say over his com.
"Same here with the Gunners," Batgirl reported.
"Regroup at the clock tower," he commanded, tapping on his ear. Both his apprentices confirmed before the line went dead. Batman looked at the bags of money these thieves have been stealing and narrowed his eyes. 'The money is a means to the end,' Batman deduced as he hopped into the Batmobile. 'Too much work is going into this for money to be the aim. The question is, what's the money for?'
"Just got a report from the police; all of the bank robberies have been stopped," Batgirl informed over the radio. Batman's eyes narrowed, the police were stretched thin as it was and the only way the robberies could have been stopped was if the police were already outside the door. "Some random superpowered people stopped three of them," she continued, answering Batman's question before he had a chance to ask.
That made his eyes narrow even more. A hero operating in his city without his knowledge or, much more importantly, his permission?
"Is he crazy?" Robin asked, sounding a mix of impressed and exasperated. Even Superman knew to stay out of Gotham.
"Has to be if he's working in Batman's city," Batgirl said as she stood next to Robin on a rooftop while they overlooked the city.
"Hmm, let him take off some stress on the cops, we'll investigate later. Right now we have to focus on robberies." Batman says switching off his comms. Batgirl and Robin look at each other and then start to mimic Batman's orders.
"'Regroup at the clock tower!'" Batgirl mimics making her voice deep and gruffy.
"'Right now we have to focus on robberies.'" Robin says with a laugh also making his voice deep and gruffy.
"So anyway, how has your team been doing?" Batgirl asked the boy of wonder.
"Good, although we might have to wait a little before we go back to school, Ben and Superboy kind of trashed the place." Robin says with a slight chuckle.
"Ben? Is that the guy Batman has been researching the past few days?"
"Yeah, I think so, I think he's trying to come up with contingency plans for him, you know just in case he's 'evil'."
"You think he's evil?"
"To be honest, no, not unless he's the best actor in the world. I just think Batman, as usual, is just too paranoid for his own good," Robin then smirks "Or maybe he just doesn't like that Ben isn't afraid of him…"
"Seriously?"
"Didn't even move when Batman got up in his face, and even talked back to him." Batgirl didn't know what to make of this 'Ben' character but now she only had one look on her face. Impressed.
"Hard to believe that… what is he again, 16 year old boy, wouldn't be the least bit intimidated by Batman." Even his own proteges were intimidated by him or more so the fact they were the people most intimidated by him that it impressed them the most. "Alright, time to head out-" Batgirl states but couldn't fully get the last word out as Robin already shot a grapple onto the build next to them and jumped off.
"Try to keep up!" Robin says, swinging off to the next building. Batgirl sighed and went to grab her own grapple when she was suddenly hit in the head with a hammer knocking her out instantly.
"Gotcha now, Bratgirl!" The last thing Batgirl heard was a woman's howling laughter then just silence.
Gotham, August 4th: 06:30 AM
Ben's transformation, Eye Guy, a humanoid-like being that had large green eyes sporting from each body part and his head having to bat wing-like ears, walked around the abandoned building.
His eyes trailed the entire place in seconds, with his tons of eyes it didn't really take long for him to find a secret passageway that led to a bunch of guys and girls standing in a circle. One more strapped to a table then standing, Eye Guy's dozen set of eyes narrowed at the sight and started to listen in.
"Good job, Harley! You did good, real good!" The man with green hair and bleached skin with a purple suit and a wicked grin complimented the girl in a red and black body suit. Eye Guy gritted his teeth when he recognized them as Joker and Harley Quinn. It was kind of hard not to when Robin talked about the two more than any other villains.
The others weren't that noticeable, one was a giant zombie with white hair and a black tux, his height was similar to Humungousaur same with his body shape.
The other two looked human, well kind of, one had half of his face and body scarred to the head down, even one side of his hair was a different color then the other. He was seen flipping a coin then spinning it around his knuckles then rusming to flipping it.
The last one was a bald old man with numbers written around his round head. His eyes seemed dead as he walked around carefree of anything around him.
"Thank you, Puddin," Harley spoke, drawing Eye Guy's attention as she swooned at the man's compliments. Harley then turned to the woman strapped to the table. "So can I kill her?!" Harley spoke excitedly as the woman's eyes widened and visibly struggled.
Eye Guy's eye's shot up and got ready to save the girl that was dressed similar to Batman. He could only guess she was either a fan or another protege.
However, Eye Guy stopped when he saw Joker get visibly frustrated, his teeth grinded against each other. "Now Harley, we can't do that, we have to wait till Batman arrives."
Harley realized her mistake and gulped. "R-Right sorry, Puddin." She almost seemed scared, and a little bit relieved when Joker just nodded and started to walk around his grin going back on his face.
Ben couldn't understand what their releship was, but that didn't change the fact they had to be taken down. But the mere fact he got mad from just her questioning his plans interested Ben, or was it something else?
"Heh, why the hell don't we kill her now, huh? Part of your master plan or something?" Two Face asked as Joker's smile, once again, was lost as his frozen deepened and he started to pull out a gun with his back turned to them.
"It's all part of the fun! We need Batman here. That's the point of this whole thing!" Joker hissed, the man followed the rules of comedy, he was a supposed 'comedian' after all. And the one thing that made a joke un-funny was when people questioned or explained a joke.
That wasn't funny, not at all, and he wasn't about to ruin his joke, not now, not while the punch line was yet to be seen.
"Look on the bright side, when Batman arrives then we can kill her. I'm sure it won't be long now…" Joker smiles again.
"That would explain why Batman always defeats you, if you spend all that time you have waiting for him." Caladerman spoke with a growl. That's when Joker had had enough. He pulled out his gun and pointed it at the man's head.
For the first time this night, the old man showed fear on his face as he backed away. Ben tried to stop him but the sudden movement of the gun appearing took him by surprise. "Hey-" Caladerman was then shot in the head, his brain matter and blood splattering all over the place.
Eye Guy's eyes widened, then he gritted his teeth. "Shut up!" Joker yelled, firing a couple more shots into the dead body. Batgirl's eyes widened then closed not wanting to see the body get mauled in front of her. "Shut up, shut up, shut up!"
Ben had enough, he quickly shot a green laser out of one of his eyes that was on his hands and blasted away the gun in the man's hand and it burned some skin as well.
The smell of burnt flesh fested the area as everyone turned to the alien confused.
"Alright buddy you're going down!" He said the eye located on his chest shot a green laser that was directed at Grundy. The blast knocked him off his feet and into a wall behind him.
Two-face pulled out a gun and started to fire at Eye-Guy but Ben just fired several lasers at Two-Face, traveling as fast as light, the lasers beat the bullets in speed and disintegrated the bullets in the air. The laser then blasted the gun out of his hand then two more blasted into both his shoulders.
He immediately wallowed back in pain and clutched his aching shoulders.
Eye-Guy then saw Batgirl screaming but couldn't get her voice past the muffle of her mouth. Eye-Guy quickly shot a laser at one of her restraints on her arm which blew it apart.
She quickly used her free arm to grab the muffle on her mouth and pull it off. Ben was expecting a 'thank you' or a 'who are you?' he had been getting a lot of those tonight, however, she said something he wasn't quite expecting. "Watch out!"
Eye-Guy then directed all of his eyes to his back left to which Harley Quinn was running to him with her malet back and ready to slam into him.
Her malet slammed into the back of his head and broke apart on impact. He stuttered forward until he regained his balance then glared back at Harley to which the woman in red and black gulped.
"Heh, heh, uhh so what's your story?" Harley said, comedically trying to make conversation.
A blast of green light was seen lighting up the room before Harley's body was flown across the room and slammed into Joker. Grundy then stood back up with a loud growl.
"Grundy crush Eye man." Grundy took a step forward and the whole building shook as if an earthquake had taken place. With each step it felt like the world was breaking and it became even worse when he started running towards him.
For a big guy he was surprisingly fast, he ended up in front of Ben in a matter of seconds even though they were a few meters away from each other.
Grundy then back handed the alien across the room and made him slam into the wall.
"Ow, ok, let's try the new guy!" Eye-Guy says as he slapped down on the dial on his chest.
In a flash of emerald light he was replaced with a large humanoid-like creature that resembled a large tiger that stood on two legs with two claws extending from his wrists. His green eyes lit up as he let out a loud roar.
"RATH!" The large alien growled, Grundy seemed to be visibly confused with the fact that Ben had changed his appearance but he pushed past that and let out his own roar. "Lemme tell ya something Solman Grundy, big zombie monster that dared to slap Rath, Rath is strongest, Rath is awesome, and Rath is gonna kick your ass!"
With another growl Rath launched himself at Grundy, both beasts cocked their fist back and got ready to punch the other. Grundy roared and threw his fist forward slamming it into Rath's face, Rath himself recovered quickly and slammed his own fist in Grundy's abdomen.
Grundy coughed out some spit before being pummeled in the face by a few of Rath's fists. Rath then grabbed Grudny's arm and proceeded to spin a circle a few times before throwing him to the far side of the room where he slammed into multiple boxes that were stacked onto each other. Rath smiled at this slowly crept towards what remained of the boxes.
Grudny grumbled as he lifted the debri of wood boxes off of him and huffed in anger. "Is that all...? Grudny has seen better!"
Rath growled and, like an ape, pounded on his chest with his fists a few times before lunging at Grundy.
"Fomalhaut Facebuster!" Rath grabbed the back of Grundy's head and pulled it back before putting his leg in front of Grundy's own and then sending him forward face first into the concrete. The ground shattered into pieces from the impact and all that was heard was a groan from Grundy.
Rath then pulled Grundy up by the head and gave him a few more knocks to the head before turning him upside down then jumping high in the air. "Polaris Piledriver!"
As both beasts landed, Grundy landing on his head then being knocked away by Rath, Rath got back up instantly and ran towards Grundy once again as he was, unsteadily, getting back up.
"Cosmic Clothesline!" Rath brought his arm out and smashed it into Grundy's neck making him flip out of control in the air before Rath jumped off to him and delivered a force kick straight to his head. "Sirius Butt-Kicking!"
Joker undeadily got back up just in time to see Grundy fly over his head and slam into the wall behind him with a loud bang!
Joker looked around for whoever did all this until he heard a growl that sent a chill down his spine. He looked behind him to see the large humanoid alien and gulped before he was picked up by the back of his shirt.
"Lemme tell ya something Joker, clown prince of crime and the creepiest clown Rath has ever seen," Rath roared while poking Joker's chest to emphasize his point. "If you ever kill anyone in front of Rath again! Rath is gonna take you and rearrange every part of your creepy body, so that your feet are touching your shoulders and your face is kissing your ass! GOT IT!"
Rath's last growl made Joker quiver before Rath punched him in the gut and then tossed him over his shoulder like a used paper bag. Joker slammed his face on the concrete and was knocked out.
"Wow," Batgirl says, earning Rath's attention as he looked at her putting on her utility belt that resembled a lot like Batman's. "You did quite a number on these guys, so who are you?"
"Lemme tell you something girl that could be just another Batman fan, Rath is Rath and Rath is the awesomest, newest hero!"
Batgirl seemed confused by the statement and gave a slightly tilted head to him. "What?"
"I said Rath is-" The giant tiger creature was cut off when his face was pelted with smoke bombs making him cough and start to try a useless attempt of blowing away the smoke.
"Batgirl you ok?" Robin asked the girl with Batman behind him.
"Huh, yeah, I actually got saved by this guy…" Batgirl states before things escalated.
Batman looked at the creature before recognizing the symbol on his chest. "It's Ben."
"Ben?!" Both Robin and Batgirl ask. Batgirl already heard of this guy but she had no idea he was the one that came to save her.
Quickly in a bright flash of light Ben was back wearing his hero uniform and a cheap mask he found at a costume store. He only bought it just in case he had transformed out of one of his aliens without consent but it looks like he didn't need to worry.
"Hey *cough cough* did you really have to throw smoke bombs at me?" Batman's eyes narrowed while Batgirl and Robin smiled slightly as Ben tried to blow away the smoke that surrounded him.
Batcave, August 4th: 08:00 AM
"You take this Bat thing way too seriously…" Ben comments checking out the batcave in its entirety, it was very impressive to him how the man was able to make all these cool gadgets and gear plus all of the awesome vehicles he had. It reminded him of Grandpa Max and his secret 'Plumber' job.
"Nevermind that," Batman said, having been told of the whole story he was fine to have had Ben in his city for tonight since it was practically an all out war.
It was clear Joker had specific missions for each person he hired, Calendar Man set up the exact times and places each criminal would have to go and be, Grundy, Two-Face and he himself would supply the man power with their respected gangs and even Grundy as muscle with Joker behind the whole scheme.
"Hmm, if that's all then you can head back to the cave." Batman states typing on his monitor what happened today.
"Eh, that's all?" Ben seemed to expect something, but it fell on deaf ears as Batman ignored him. Ben sighed and then started to walk to the Zeta-tube but was greeted by Batgirl and Robin.
"Hey," Robin greets with a wave while Batgirl glances at Batman.
"Sorry about him, he has a hard time saying 'thank you'." Batgirl says, with a sigh. Ben smirked, this girl for some reason reminded him of Gwen.
"No problem, by now I know Batman's personality." Ben says with a slight deadpan voice. "So 'Batgirl' are you going to join the team?"
"Not right away, however, I do want to join at some point, it would be nice to work with someone other than Batman…" She caught Batman looking back at them with his eyes narrowed. "No offence."
"Well be lucky to have you, anyway I'm gonna have to head out now. I'm so tired, I have no idea how you guys aren't since it seems you've all been up way longer than me."
"Years of practice." Robin answers smugly.
Ben chuckles, as he then steps into the Zeta-tube giving a wave to Robin and Batgirl before disappearing.
Sorry for any spelling errors I had to rush out this new chapter.
Also the poll is up so vote now on who you want the last girl in the harem to be.
