Chapter 8

The RWBY and Kingdo Heart crew are traveling through the Organisation's lair and while they are at it. RWBY decide to figure out more about the villains.

As the group continued walking through the Organization's lair, the dim corridors pulsing with an eerie energy, Ruby broke the silence.

"Hey, Sora. I know this is kind of out of nowhere, but… who is this Organization? And Xemnas? What's their deal?" she asked, curious but cautious.

Sora glanced over his shoulder, his cheerful expression fading slightly. "Well, I may not know everything, but this is what I do know. Xemnas and his followers are called Nobodies."

"Nobodies?" Yang tilted her head. "What even is that? Sounds… I dunno, insulting?"

Sora chuckled lightly but quickly grew serious. "It's a little complicated, but the simplest way to explain it is this: when a person loses their heart to darkness, they're split into two beings. The heart becomes a Heartless—a creature made entirely of darkness. Its only goal is to spread and make more of its kind by consuming hearts and worlds."

Blake furrowed her brow. "And the Nobody?"

"The Nobody is… what's left," Sora said, his voice soft. "It's the shell of the person—their body and soul—but without a heart. They keep their memories, but they're… empty inside. They can mimic emotions, but they can't actually feel them. It's like they're just… pretending to be human."

Blake's ears drooped slightly as she whispered, "That's… horrifying. I can't imagine not feeling anything at all."

Yang crossed her arms, frowning. "So, wait. These guys want to… stay like that? Or…?"

Riku cut in, his tone grim. "No. That's the thing. Xemnas and the Organization are gathering hearts—by destroying Heartless—to create something called Kingdom Hearts. It's this heart-shaped moon with unimaginable power. They think if they complete it, they'll get their hearts back and become human again."

"But they're hurting people to do it," Sora added. "And they don't care how many lives they destroy along the way."

Ruby looked down at Crescent Rose, her voice quiet. "So… they're doing terrible things because they just want to feel again? That's… kinda tragic."

"Tragic?" Weiss shot Ruby a sideways glance. "It's horrible. They're murdering people for their own selfish desires."

"It's not that simple," Blake countered, her golden eyes narrowing. "They're not just evil for the sake of it. They're… desperate."

"Desperate or not, it doesn't excuse what they're doing," Weiss snapped. "Destroying lives isn't the answer."

"Enough, Weiss," Yang interjected, placing a hand on her sister's shoulder. "They've got a point. It's a messy situation." She looked at Sora. "But this Kingdom Hearts thing? I don't really get it. Is it a person? A place? A thing? You guys keep talking about it like it's all of those."

Sora laughed awkwardly, scratching the back of his head. "Heh, yeah, it's… weird. Honestly, I've been trying to figure it out myself. It's kinda like… everything? The heart of all worlds, maybe? I just know it's powerful, and Xemnas wants it really, really badly."

Weiss rolled her eyes, clearly overwhelmed. "Ugh, this is giving me a headache. It's so convoluted."

"You're not wrong," Riku said with a faint smirk.

"Convoluted or not," Blake said, her voice firm, "if these Nobodies are hurting people, they need to be stopped. I don't care what their reasons are."

Sora and Riku exchanged glances, both nodding in agreement. "That's the plan," Sora said.

As they entered the next room, a chill ran through the air. The space stretched into a massive chamber, illuminated by faint blue light. Ice-like spikes adorned the walls, and the polished floors gleamed like mirrors.

Just as they stepped inside, a figure emerged from the shadows. His piercing amber eyes locked onto them, and he held a massive, spiked claymore over his shoulder.

"Hmph. You've come a long way," Saïx said, his voice cold and calculating. "But this is where it ends."

"I remember you." Yang says in a low angered voice as she steps forward.

"Wait Yang. He is to powerful for you. Let me assist you in the fight." Riku says walking over with her.

"Wait we could-" Ruby attempts to say but Sora puts his arm in front of her.

"This is Riku and Yang's fight. And if Riku wants to fight. He at least wants to make it a fair fight."

Riku and Yang walk forward as Yang loads up fresh shells into her gauntlet and robot arm.

"Oh you're approaching me? Well I guess you are willing to taste defeat a second time, even with the help of the Keyblade." Siax taunts.

"I won't loose this time! I'm better prepared." Yang responds.

"HMP! Very well. If you two manage to defeat me. I will tell you why Raven left you." Siax says with a sly smile forming over his face.

"I guess you just gave me more motivation to beat you!" Yang says shooting her shotguns behind her launching her forward without Riku.

"Yang wait!" Riku yells running after her.

Saïx was ready. He raised his claymore with ease, his weapon glowing with an eerie blue aura. As Yang closed the distance, he slammed the weapon down, creating a shockwave of pure energy that shattered the icy floor and sent shards flying in every direction.

Yang dodged to the side with a spin, firing her gauntlets mid-air to stabilize herself. "Too slow!" she shouted, landing a heavy punch that Saïx blocked with the flat of his claymore. The force of the impact sent a ripple of energy outward.

"You're reckless," Saïx sneered, swinging his claymore in a wide arc. Yang leapt back, but it was to late and the swing knocked her into a wall, cracking and making a creator.

Riku took the opening. "RRRAAAH!" he called out, appearing behind Saïx in a blur of movement. He slashed at him with Way to Dawn, but Saïx twisted his body unnaturally fast, blocking the strike with one hand while keeping his eyes locked on Yang.

"Two against one?" Saïx mocked. "How amusing."

Yang recovered quickly, firing another blast from her gauntlets to charge in, this time coordinating with Riku. She aimed low, throwing a sweeping punch, while Riku followed up with a high slash, their movements synchronized.

But Saïx roared, his body glowing as he entered his berserker state. His claymore shimmered with raw energy as he swung wildly, creating massive shockwaves that forced Yang and Riku to back off.

"Foolish!" Saïx bellowed, his voice feral. He leapt into the air, bringing his claymore down in a devastating vertical strike. Yang barely rolled out of the way, and the impact left a massive crater in the floor.

Riku took the opportunity to dart in again, unleashing a flurry of strikes with his Keyblade. Sparks flew as Saïx parried each one, his movements precise despite his berserk state. "You think you can match my power?" Saïx growled, slamming his weapon down again and forcing Riku to jump back.

Yang gritted her teeth, her Semblance flaring brighter. "Enough of this!" she shouted, charging forward again. This time, she ducked under Saïx's swing and delivered a devastating uppercut to his chest, the force sending him skidding back.

Riku seized the moment. "Yang, now!" he shouted, summoning a burst of dark energy to amplify his next strike. He lunged forward, slashing at Saïx with all his strength, the Keyblade's light clashing with Saïx's darkness.

Saïx staggered, his berserk aura flickering. He snarled, his amber eyes blazing. "You've improved… but this is far from over."

Yang and Riku exchanged a quick glance, nodding in silent agreement. The fight was just beginning, Siax was going full berserk mode.

The two rush at Siax with Riku being more strategic dodging and weaving around his attacks, and slashing with the Keyblade when he finds an opening.

However Yang, is more reckless in her fighting, just throwing hard punches, leaving her open for attack.

She throws a punch with Siax deflecting it with his claymore, knocking her off balance then swinging the weapon and hitting her in the chest knocking her away.

"Yang!" Riku yells jumping over another attack from Siax and rushing and sliding down to her.

"Yang! Are you alright?"

She looks at him, stunned and exhausted "I can't beat him... He's just to powerful..." Yang responds.

"Look. When in combat you have to analyze your opponent, and find the weakness and opening. Like look, his swings are wide, but they leave him wide open to attack." Riku points out.

"You're... You're right... I see it now... Ok. Lead the way, show me how!" Yang motivates herself getting up.

"You can't win. I'm far more powerful! It's Usless usless usless,, USLESS!" Siax yells

Riku and Yang give one last charges as Riku blasts dark fire at him, knocking him off guard, with Yang running behind him, jumping and punching Siax in the face with her robot arm, knocking him back!

Then Riku charges up his keyblade with darkness slashing at Siax's hand causing him to loses his grip of the weapon.

"YANG! Finish it!"

Xiao Long nods, running and grabbing the claymore as she charges towards the villain, her eyes red and hair burning like fire, swinging with all her strength and knocking Siax super hard into a wall!

Both the heroes breath heavily after the intense fight, Yang looks at Riku and holds up her robot arm for a fist bump, which Riku quickly does so not even looking.

Meanwhile Siax falls off the wall and lands on the ground extremely sore with the heroes walking over.

"Alright a deals a deal... Why did my mother leave me!?" Yang demands.

"Heh... You're right. You did win...As for Raven... Well she left you... to obtain the Summer Maiden powers."

"She left our family... For that? To obtain some the maiden powers!? That's why!?" Yang asks her eyes turning red once more.

"Yes... She deeply regretted the decision... But she felt it was the best way to keep you and your father safe... To be able to put a stop to Salem..." Siax elaborates his hand starting to fade away into nothing.

"Wait.. To stop Salem? That thing we saw in a illusion?" Yang asks.

"Yes... The goddess of Grimm... A few years later and she... she teamed up with another huntress for the mission to stop Salem..." Siax struggles to speak his body further and further fading away.

"Who!? Who was my Mother with!?" Yang becoming more desperate as Riku, Ruby, and the others look surprised by her.

"The one who was with Raven on the secret mission... Was... Summer, Rose..." Saix spoke his final words as his body faded away into ashes, drifting away.

"Summer Rose? Ruby's Mom?" Yang asked looking behind her seeing the same shocked face on Ruby after hearing what happen.

"Our Mom's both left us for mission?" Ruby asks, shocked with the realization.

"I'm... so sorry. That can't be easy to deal with..." Sora says.

Suddently, the winds flew more intensely, a flurry of rose peddles gliding though and appearing before them, was Marluxia!

"Marluxia! What are you doing here!?" Sora yells as he summons the Kingdom Key.

"HMP. Poor Ruby and Yang. The love of a Mother is so great. But it was betrayed for you two. How... ironic and unfortunate, both Mothers went behind your backs, and teamed up for a seemingly selfish goal." Mark says, passively taunting them.

"You don't know anything about them!" Sora yells standing his ground for Ruby and Yang.

"Oh but I do Sora... I know everything that happen to them... Including where Summer Rose is..." Mark says, catching Ruby's attention imidiantly.

"You know where she is?" Ruby asks

"I do... However. We fight on my terms." Marlu says as the rose peddles swirl around him, Ruby, and Sora.

Suddently they find themselves in a blank white voice, on top of a round platform, with a rose symbol on the floor.

"Now then... Show me your strength! Let's see how you all improved!" Mar says as he creates the countdown over Sora's hand.

He then throws his sythe as it spins towards Ruby and Sora; Ruby uses her peddle burst to dodge the attack, while Sora holds up his key blade, blocking the attacks, then quickly whacking it away as it returns to Mar's hand, before he taunts them further.

"HMP. You seem to have gotten stronger Sora, but I am still just as strong as before!" The reaper yells, before quickly turning around and blocking an attack from Ruby, with the sythes struggling to overpower each other.

Malu laughs as he struggles with Ruby "My my little red, you are getting fisty. Better not loose your way fighting."

Ruby lets out an irritated noise, before jumping back and firing sniper rounds with Marluixa slicing the bullets mid air.

Sora jumps attempting to attack him, but mar teleports away and quickly slashes him.

He once more teleports away leaving Sora and Ruby wondering where he went, suddenly his sythe appears slicing at them at rapid fire speeds!

They don't get cut, but rather they feel the pain without the cut.

They are knocked back with Sora struggles to get up.

"It's over for you all now..." Marluixa says walking towards them, ready to bring the final slashes with the sythe.

"URG... Donald... Goofy... You may not be here. But I need your strength... Both of you." Sora says holding his chest.

Back over with Donlad and Goofy, as if the faint voice of Sora spoke to them.

They know he needs help with both of them turning into balls of light and zooming out to the pocket dimension of Marluxia.

"Now, Time to vanquish you two!" Marluxia says raising his sythe however just as he does suddenly Sora starts glowing with light coming out of his chest and body.

Then the light expands outward blinding everyone as he yells with the overwhelming power.

Mar looks over and is beyond shocked at what he sees.

Sora is wearing a yellow and black version of his clothes, in one hand he is holding the Keyblade known as Gaurdian Soul and floating around his other hand with yellow electricity is Gull Wing.

"W-what is this power? Where did you get it?" Mar asks

"Your pain shall be two fold. And I like to call this Master Form. Ruby let's hit him with everything we got!" Sora says using his cure magic to bring her back to full health.

"R-Right. Let's do this!" Ruby yells as they rush towards Marluxia with new found strength!

Sora quickly swings his Keyblade as Marluxia attempts to block them, but many of Sora's quick attacks land and hit him, sending him into the air as Sora jumps up as well, landing even further combos in mid air.

Then after a cross slash sending Marlu to the ground, he teleports away attempting to sneak attack him.

Ruby dashes over spinning her scythe landing many hits on the reaper, after many slashes she jumps back shooting three sniper rounds all three landing and knocking him back.

Just as he gets back up Sora is behind him and spins around swinging the key blades sending massive damage to him and knocking him down!

Marluxia falls on the floor once more struggling to get up this time with Sora reverting back to normal state.

"GRR...AAAHHH! Damn... You two... Did a good job fighting me... I'm very impressed."

"Now then... Tell me what happen to my Mom!? Where is she?" Ruby demands.

"Heh... Your mother huh? Well she went out on that mission with Raven... The mission was to take out the Goddess of Grimm Salem... However, Salem proved she was stronger then they thought... And well Salem had plans with your Mother. Thanks to her silver eyes..."

Sora could't help but his eyes widen with Ruby curious.

"What do you mean? What plans?"

"Salem... Took your Mother captive as Raven ran away, escaping her lair, and with Summer Rose... She... She..." Marluixa coughs ashis false body was dying.

"She what!? Tell me!"

"Salem turned... your mother... Into a Grimm human hybrid... Summer Rose is a half grimm... Serving Salem somewhere in Remnate..."

"No... No..." Ruby says beyond shocked as she falls to her knees tears swelling up in her eyes, realizing that may be true.

"You monster! How could you do that to Ruby!? How can all of you take advantage of RWBY's emotions and hard pasts!? You all are truly heartless!" Sora lashes out in anger.

"Sorry Roxas... She wanted to know... Besides you are not so perfect either..." Marluixa says with his last bout of energy he jumps up and grabs Sora's head with one hand reactivating his memories with Roxas.

In the memories Sora sees himself fighting his nobody, known as Roxas, as the nobody wants to just be alive but has to fight Sora to do so.

While the memories are replaying Sora once again summons the Black and White checker key blade, it's dark and light powers feeling painful and uneasy.

After the memory clears out, Sora and Ruby find themselves back with the others.

"Sora! Are you ok?" Kairi asks.

"N-no not really.. I had an intense fight with Marluixa... So did Ruby." Sora says a bit sadden.

"I understand... We all had an intense journey so far. But the door to Kingdom Hearts is close." Riku says as everyone fallows him to the top of the base, with a huge door in the center.

"That must be it... Kingdom Hearts... But right now we are no shape to stop Xemnas... Everyone rest... This will be our final rest." Sora says as he looks at the door, dredding but also ready for the final fight!
