TennysonForce: It was a combination of Ben underestimating Vilgax to the same guy he fought as a kid, Vilgax being much stronger than he was before with his different sets of powers that threw Ben off even more and to top it all off also having to avoid Eon at the last bit. Rember I'm not just bullshiting in that fight either when Ben and Vilgax squared off in Alien Force in their first fight, Ben practically lost because of all these reasons as well. Sure he won with Diamondhead in the end but still.

Vilgax grunted as his massive form grabbed a piece of the rubble that had gotten flung with him into a building. He looked up to the man that had sent him into a couple of buildings and raised a brow. 'Could this be one of the heroes of this Earth's universe?'
As Vilgax brought himself up he could hear Superman's voice above him, "Stand down, If you do we can stop any unnecessary damage."
Vilgax frowned, 'Definitely a hero,' The alien then hissed as he cradled his arm, he looked to his arm and saw a big patch of his green skin had turned so dark it was black. It was hard to tell what did that kind of damage from fighting Tennyson, was it XLR8's blinding fast speed knocking into him the equivalent of a train smashing into a human being, maybe Heatblast scorching flames that reached 3'000 degrees, or maybe it was Humungousaur giant fists slamming into his body.
He didn't know which or if it was a combination of all of it, but he knew now that the moment had long passed it hurt a lot. He looked up once again and frowned more as he saw Superman talking into his comms.
"Where are the rest of the League?" Superman asked, not even for a second taking his eyes off the squid alien.
'Me, Captain Marvel, Hal, and John are on our way. The rest of the League is dealing with disasters all over the world.' The voice of Wonder Woman rang through the comm as both Heroes sighed deeply. 'Of course, a villain would attack now of all times, right when we are spread thin.'
Yeah, that was a bit convenient. Superman had to wonder how deeply this was planned. His curiosity got him to think of a certain bat-costumed hero.
"How's Batman?" Superman says, almost now completely focusing on Vilgax. It seemed he was now not answering to stall so he could heal his injuries he suffered from Ben.
Superman charged towards the squid-faced alien with his fists cocked back and his eyes a deep red. Vilgax gritted his teeth in anger at the hero, then he charged as well bringing his fist forward for both to slam their fists into the others. The shockwave was immense and shook the ground beneath them.
The two buildings next to them suddenly shattered into millions of pieces. Vilgax's eyes glowed a crimson red as lasers shot out and struck the alien's face. He then clobbered the man with a right jab and then brought his hands together for a mighty blow on its back to pound him into the dirt.
Superman caught Vilgax's fists before they made contact, the sheer shockwave of the blow broke apart the ground Superman stood on. Almost losing his balance in the process, Superman then cocks back his fist but not before Vilgax's shoots crimson lasers out of his eyes and into the alien hero's face. Vilgax punches Superman a couple more times before giving him one final blow that knocks the hero to the ground on his back.
Vilgax breathed slightly heavily, he was impressed, he had fought many heroes throughout the years, Ben obviously included, yet almost none had given him a beating unlike the one he had just received.
Vilgax hands down had hit the Kryptonian more times than the Kryptonian landed a blow on him but even with those few hits he felt seriously injured from them all.
Maybe it was because he was already weakened but he found it in himself to respect the fallen hero. And it also made him wish he had brought the power extractor he used on so many heroes to gain powers, the machine that was even able to absorb the Dagon's power and shoot it into himself.
'It appears I have more guests…' Vilgax says looking towards the sky to see 2 more people flying in his direction.

"How's he coming along?" Aqualad walked up to his teammates who stood by the window of the Med Bay. As he walked closer he could see Ben's form just slightly, he didn't look as injured as he was when he first appeared so that was good, yet he was just on one of the beds just staring at the wall.
It didn't take a genius to realize something wasn't right.
"He seems to have healed perfectly fine thanks to that plaint alien." Kid Flash commented looking at Ben worriedly.
"But he seems distraught." M'gann finished as she looked at Ben through the Med Bay window. "Maybe we should talk to him?" She said reaching for the doorknob of the med bay before Aqualad grabbed her arm.
"No, he probably wishes to be left alone for now after his defeat. We must search for the people that did this and make them pay." Aqualad said in a stern tone that left no room for argument, not that anyone disagreed.
They all walked to the training area leaving Ben to his thoughts.
Ben… he didn't know how to feel. All this time, he had never truly lost in a sense… he had always been the unstoppable hero.
As he thought back to everything he's done so far in this new world he thought about how he fought all those bad guys, the crooks in Gotham and the league of shadows were nothing Santa Prisca was a little bit more than a chore, but Amazo and the time beasts were threats he had trouble with.
He felt as if he had lost his mojo a bit, maybe spending all that time in the Null Void didn't make him as good as he thought he was, maybe he was overestimating himself, maybe he's not cut out-
Ben shook his thoughts away, he couldn't think like that now, but he was sure his confidence in himself was shattered.
He gritted his teeth and balled up his fists. Vilgax did this, it's his fault he should have just ended it. But what could he do if Vilgax had gotten that powerful?
Just then a blue vortex appeared right in front of the teen that made him jump up in surprise. Ben looked at the portal and narrowed his eyes slightly as he saw a silhouetted figure approaching him; it seemed to be a rather large man that was using a cane to help him walk.
"Paradox?"
"Guess again…" Wait, Ben knew that voice, it had been a long time since he heard it but he couldn't forget that voice no matter what. As the figure got closer the silhouette shrank to a tiny size and the cane seemed to look very different to Ben.
The man stepped out of the portal, appearing to the young hero as the gray alien frog that created the Omnitrix, the First Thinker, Azmuth.
"Azmuth?!"
Just then another figure stepped out of the portal but only slightly so Ben could see it was Paradox. "I'm here too… Azmuth I'll leave this to you." Azmuth looked back at the Time Walker and gave him a nod before turning back to the teen, as the man out of time stepped back into the portal and it closed.
"Hello Benjamin, I can see you haven't broken my Omnitrix yet. That is good considering you had it longer than the original you." Azmuth smiled.
As happy as Ben was to see a friend from his reality show up he only gave a stiff nod to the Galvin.
Azmuth sighed, "You can't get beat around the bush over one loss Tennyson…"
"But that's just the thing, I have the most powerful device in the universe, yet I can still lose? I've never lost before. I spent only a short time here and I already had more trouble dealing with the bad guys here than I did spending 5 years in the Null Void. Why did you even believe I could use this thing for good anyway? I barely know how it fully works!"
"Well 'sometimes you must see the good in people and not be such a selfish jerk' you taught me that." Ben zipped his mouth shut as his eyes drifted to Azmuth, his own words being used against him in this argument. Azmuth smiled then laughed. "I never thought I would say something like, 'you taught me' me being one of the smartest beings in the universe. It's not every day someone teaches me something."
Ben gave him a deadpan expression as he saw this as Azmuth's attempt to give himself an excuse to stroke his ego. However, that was the furthest of the truth… "I'm very old Tennyson, I've made a lot of mistakes," Pushing away his loving Zennith for his work, making the sword Ascalon, the destruction of the Incurseans planet, and many more… "But I've come to realize giving you the Omnitrix was not one."
Ben looked at the ground for a bit, grabbing both of his hands together and squeezing them. He was now not just angry with himself for losing, Azmuth had expectations for him, and he couldn't live up to them. It made him just want to punch something.
"I'm sorry I failed those expectations then…"
Azmuth hummed in thought. "I would not say you failed, I would say you exceeded my expectations."
Ben's eyes widened as he felt a cold shiver run up his spine. "I was informed right when you were in the Null Void. I was planning on pulling you out myself, however, Paradox stopped me." Ben blinked rapidly at this new information taking it all in. "He said that 'this was needed. And you would become a better hero from the experience'. He even had me disable the Celestialsapien DNA. At first, I was worried about the Omnitrix being in the Null Void for 5 years until you would 'break out'."
The teen grew slightly ticked at that. 'Seriously you were worried about your watch?! What about the guy connected to it and him being stuck in there, huh?!'
"As time went on I watched from afar seeing you and the original grow. And I can't be more proud of the way you have used the Omnitrix, in a way I couldn't have ever dreamed… fighting for what's right."
"Why are you telling me all this?"
Azmuth ignored the question and continued. "A little bit after the original Ben lost the transformation known as 'Feedback'."
Ben looked at him in shock, Feedback used to be a go-to alien, after he was in the Null Void he realized he couldn't depend on him forever so he dialed back on using him.
"H-How?"
"Malware." Ben's body froze at the name. "He destroyed the transformation right in front of him, it shattered Ben's confidence. In fact, he gave up using the Omnitrix completely after that and tried out being a normal kid before certain circumstances made him put it back on. Either way, he had 2 options: he could let that loss define him or he could learn from it."
Ben tried to take that all in as well but he ended up grabbing his forehead, he gave up the Omnitrix?
He stopped being a Hero? Why would he do that? …If Azmuth didn't show up was that the way he was going to go after his loss? After this was he going to give up 'going hero' forever? All in all, it came down to the 2 options Azmuth stated.
Would this loss define who he was? Would he give up on being a hero just from that loss?
Would he learn from his mistake? Would he truly understand that sometimes even good guys would lose no matter how powerful?
Ben took a quick look at his watch, the green hourglass symbol reelected his face for him to look at. He gripped his right fist and stood up from the bed.
"NO WAY!" He couldn't run now, not after what happened. Vilgax and Eon were still out there, they were his villains whether the original or not. He couldn't leave it to someone else.
That has always been his reasoning, he couldn't just leave it for someone to do, the truth is he has the power to do something about it. It didn't matter how many times he lost as long as in the end, everyone wins. No more selfishness, no more self-loathing, and definitely no giving up.
Azmuth gazed upon the hero as it seemed like a fire had been lit out from under him. Ben turned around in search of his green jacket that was hanging on the side of bed. He quickly grabbed it and put it on as fast as possible as he ran for the Med Bay door.
As Ben ran, Azmuth widened his eyes as memories started flowing through his brain. It was all of Ben and the constant times he had run off to go save others. The memory of the of a 10-year-old with an unstable Omnitrix and a simple blaster in hand running off to fight a losing battle, a 15-year-old going off to fight in the Highbreed war to make it out without a single soul dying, the 16-year-old that ran off to face a Dagon powered Vilgax. And now he was seeing the same kid going off to fight another battle.
A soft smile graced him as he slightly nodded his head at the boy's decision.
"Oh, Azmuth!" Ben said then looked back at him with a smile. "Thank you."
Azmuth smiled at him as well and gave him another nod but as Ben reached for the door handle of the Med Bay Azmuth spoke. "How about a parting gift before you leave?"

The Team spent the last hour and 20 minutes discussing plans on how to beat the 2 new foes as a hologram played out a fight that was currently happening. Vilgax seemed to have regained a lot of his strength and was fighting Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, Captain Marvel, and Superman.
"We need to come up with a plan to take this guy down. Does anyone have any ideas?" Aqualad asked them all to which he received silence.
"I have one," Ben spoke out, gaining their attention.
Happy Harbor
Eon walked across the beach, looking at his wrist gauntlet as it made constant beeping sounds and showed a picture of the green hourglass of the Omnitrix.
Eon grunted loudly. "What the hell?! It took me forever to make this tracking device for the Omnitrix and it doesn't even work! It says that he's here but there is no one in sight!"
Just as he finished his outrage a flash of green light appeared behind. "Oi," Eon suddenly looked behind him to see Ben standing there with a giant shit-eating grin. "You shouldn't get so angry, Eon."
Eon then smirked himself and grabbed a handle of a sword from his back pocket, it then created a sabor made out of plasma which Eon grabbed even tighter.
"You should've stayed in hiding, Tennyson. Then I wouldn't have been able to kill you." Eon said, running towards his enemy head-on.
"No hiding, no running, you're going down now!" Ben says and gets into a fighting stance.
Eon in his run tuned out the splashing and running water that came from the water on their left. He was way too focused on killing Tennyson to focus on it but that changed when he was suddenly impacted in the ribs by a large water lance that knocked the wind out of him.
"Or not…" Ben commented with a smirk as Eon tumbled on the ground before steadying himself, he looked at the teen in shock.
"H-How?" Eon then got his question answered as he looked at the water to see Aqualad floating above the water, two giant water serpents standing next to him. The boy looked deadly serious as Eon stood up. He looked back at Ben only to be blinded by an emerald light.
He once again looked back at the teen and saw him in his XLR8 form. "See ya," He said before taking off.
Eon turned his sight to the Atlantian who controlled the water around him. The two water serpents opened their jaws and bared their fangs. Eon quickly tried to break some distance between them and ran further into the beach but he was suddenly hit by a yellow blur that made him stutter back slightly.
The small debris in the sand that consisted of rocks, glass, and seashells suddenly floated off the ground and hit the man's face, blinding him. Then a red shuriken and 2 arrows hit him in the chest. The shuriken detonated on his chest while the arrows sent an electric shock through his body.
Eon fell to his knees as the yellow blur flew past him twice, Eon couldn't think fast enough to process the hits but he could feel the places that stung.
Hearing the blur come at him again he readied his weapon and swung it back, but the blur passed him instantly. Eon was about to react but his fist was then caught by Superboy and he was suddenly punched in the face and fell on his back.
Eon quickly stood back up and looked around again to see the 6 members of the team standing a few meters away from him. Kid Flash twirled the sword on his finger that made Eon quickly look to his hand in realization before glaring at the teens.
"A bunch of children?! And what, you think you can defeat me?!" The team all gave a smile as they rushed towards the man.
Meanwhile, Vilgax stood over the body of Wonder Woman getting ready to finish the job and shooting two lasers into her skull but his head was grabbed by Captain Marvel and thrown back, making the squid alien shoot the two lasers in the air.
Captain Marvel gripped the alien's neck and kept trying to throw his body back so Vilgax would fall back while the alien kept up his strength still shooting two lasers in the air.
Realizing he wouldn't beat the alien in just raw strength he decided to yell out his last trump card. "SHAZAM!" He yelled, a golden lightning bolt coming down from the sky. Vilgax quickly adjusted his vision and shot at the lightning bolt.
The attack collided with the lightning bolt, however, Vilgax's laser vision stood no chance against the magic lightning that summoned the power of the Gods. But the lasers slowed down the lightning bolt just slightly enough for Vilgax to elbow Captain Marvel in the ribs.
He was able to shake off of the man's grip as Captain Marvel fell back and the lightning bolt landed in between both of them. Vilgax jumped off the ground, shot his laser vision at the Captain's chest, and then unloaded a massive amount of punches all around the man's body.
Just as he was about to deliver a final punch a large amount of force hit the side of his head and sent him tumbling through the remains of rubble from the buildings around him.
A flash of emerald light blinded his sight for a second before he looked up to see Ben standing there, his hands in his pockets with a small smile on his face.
"Vilgax your fights with me, not them." He said dryly as Vilgax got back to his feet and gripped his claws.
"Tennyson I thought you were still running away?" Vilgax grinned, this was it! This was where he would kill this human and take the Omnitrix for himself! He was ready! He was! Wait…? 'Is my hand shaking.'
It was true Vilgax's hand was trembling, his blood ran cold and his eyes widened.
"No more running," Ben brought his left wrist up. "No more hiding," He then broke out into a run towards his enemy. "Now it's Hero Time!" In a bright emerald flash he then suddenly turned into Chromastone. Both got ready to punch their enemy and both caught each other's punch with their left hands.
In a battle of pure raw strength, Ben knew Chromastone couldn't hold out against Vilgax. Thankfully that wasn't his plan…
Vilgax grunted slightly, pushing the hero back. He wasn't afraid! He couldn't be not of this lonely human!
"You think this can beat me?! I've beaten the actual Ben Tennyson who was in that form, and defeated him too! You-you're just a knockoff of the original! A pale reflection of the incompetent boy I fought countless of times!"
Chromastone also grunted feeling his body being pushed back and gritted his teeth as his feet sunk into the ground. "I'm not a knockoff! I'm Ben Tennyson, and no matter what universe, clone, or timeline I don't lose, and will never lose to anyone, especially you Vilgax! Or have you forgotten the result of those countless battles?!" Ben didn't have to be there, he didn't have to see what the other Ben did, he didn't have to remember what the other Ben did, he didn't have to know what the other did.
He knew the result.
It would always be the same.
He would defeat Vilgax no matter what.
Vilgax gave an ear-piercing yell that his eyes glowing a bright crimson but Cromastone beat him to it as he shot his own laser beam of white light at Vilgax's face burning the skin and shooting him back. After rolling on the ground Vilgax charged at the boy again, taking the sword from his back, purplish-pink crystals surrounding the sword.
He smirked remembering he almost killed Ben with the same sword reeled back the sword brought it down on the hero's head.
He didn't move, not once did the sword come crashing down on his head and he didn't at all yet an emerald light flashed from his body that blinded Vilgax and made him close his eyes.
When he looked again Cromastone was replaced with Cannonbolt and the crystal sword had broken in half.
"N-No- what?" Vilgax asked his enemy, trying to figure out what had happened.
"What's the matter, Vilgy? Slow on the uptake? Maybe this will help." Reeling back his fist Cannonbolt was suddenly replaced by Humongsaur and punched him hard enough the earth started to shake and Vilgax got launched through the air 20 miles away until he crashed into the ground.
He unsteadily tried to pick himself up and looked around for his enemy to see a speeding Jetray flying at him. His eyes glowed and shot two emerald lasers from them that connected with the Vilgax's eyes and blinded him. Vilgax was still able to assess the situation and he knew with the speed Ben was going he would be next to him in seconds, he reeled back his back getting ready to punch him but he then heard the sound of Ben transforming again.
After readjusting his vision he didn't see his enemy anywhere but he did suddenly hear a voice in his head.
'What, Vilgax, you look like you've just seen a ghost?! Heheheh!' That creepy laugh was a dead giveaway he had turned into his Ghostfreak transformation. Just as he finished his thought his own fist crashed into his face, then he did it again, and again. All the while the annoying sound of the alien saying 'Stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself,' was repeated in his head. Screw hell, this was the worst kind of torture.
After Ben had his fun he popped out of Vilgax's body, the creepy ghost transformation chuckling to himself as Ben transformed back to himself.
"How- how did you get Master Control?!" Vilgax screamed
"Still think I'm a knockoff?" Ben smirked, it took a few seconds for Vilgax to respond.
Vilgax gave Ben his own creepy grin. "It doesn't matter. Now when I take the Omnitrix," He reeled back his claw ready to rip right through the boy's body. "I'll have access to the Master Control too!" When he swiped at Ben the teen quickly transformed into Gray Matter and ran up his arm and jumped off his shoulder.
Quickly turning himself around Ben transformed into Echo Echo and screamed into his ear. The powerful sonic wave sent Vilgax to his knees.
Before he could fully recover Ben stepped on his back and jumped in front of him, he quickly transformed into Four Arms and delivered an uppercut to his chin. Vilgax spit out a glob of blood into the air before he got blasted by a torrent of fire courtesy of Swampfire.
Vilgax took the fire better than he expected and shot loads of flames at him that Vilgax walked through with some resistance but still barely seemed affected. Swampfire quickly turned into Heatblast and shot even hotter flames that stopped Vilgax in his tracks.
After he was done Vilgax fell back to his knees, scorch marks appearing throughout his body. He looked up at the boy and shot his laser eyes at him but Ben turned into Goop and the lasers shot right through his body and regenerated instantly.
Goop turned into Wildvine and wrapped the alien in vines before Ben swiftly turned into Diamondhead and charged at Vilgax. He then punched him hard enough to send him into a park a few miles away that had a small pond that he fell into.
Quickly cupping up to it as XLR8, Ben looked at the pond in interest before he suddenly backed away as Vilgax had somehow turned into a giant squid-like creature.
"Since when could he do that?!" Ben screamed still as XLR8.
"Behold the true form of VILGAX!" The monster screamed and large tentacles shot at XLR8 that he was able to swiftly dodge before he ran towards the pond and on top of the water until he transformed into Ripjaws.
He quickly sunk into the water and made a b-line right for one of the tentacles still in the water. He bit down on it, almost ripping it right off, he could hear the scream that Vilgax let out from the attack. Ripjaws then grabbed the tentacle and transformed into Humongsaur, he got a slight reminder of when he first ended up here and the Waybad he fought and smirked.
He sextupled in size, growing even larger than a building than using most of his strength threw Vilgax's large body into the air. Quickly transforming into Jetray, Ben shot out of the pond and shot two emerald lasers from his eyes at Vilgax's, slowly shrinking to normal size, squid body.
Once Vilgax returned to his old form and crashed down into the park's playground he cradled his ribs as it had taken a massive blow.
Jetray quickly flew down in front of him staring directly down at Vilgax, who did not look good. He was breathing heavily, with several burns marks all over his body, too many bruises and cuts to count.
All the rage building up Vilgax let it out in a loud roar. "AAAAAHHHHHH!" He then shot two more crimson lasers from his eyes hoping this time it would slash right through the boy but…
Ben transformed again into a form Vilgax hadn't seen before, it used its two antennae with plugs on the end of them to absorb Vilgax's lasers. The energy from the blast seemed to pulse through his entire body from his one eye, which was green which glowed blue from the energy, from the tips of his two front toes. His four-fingered hands that also had plug-like fingers shot out torrents of lightning that surrounded the area and made the metal objects around them bend slightly.
"Now I remember why I liked this guy! Feedback rules!" Ben called out shooting out 8 lightning bolts from his fingers that connected with the alien's chest and made him scream out as the volt went through his body.
When the onslaught stopped Vilgax bowed his head in exhaustion. He couldn't believe this. He had beaten Ben before but now, it was no contest. Ben Tennyson had slaughtered him in this fight.
Again!
He couldn't do it! He couldn't accept this!
He shot two more lasers from his eyes that the now-named Feedback absorbed again. Ben then transformed into Lodestar and bent the metal of fences, poles, and other random metal objects that surrounded them and sent them at Vilgax until they all completely surrounded him in a chain of metal that wrapped around him making it impossible to escape.
He then transformed into Upgrade when remembering Vilgax was practically a cyborg and jumped onto his body combining with the technology in his body. Vilgax let out a blood-curdling scream as electricity sparked around him.
"You shut down my cybernetics?!"
The robotic voice of Upgrade that also seemed to be mixed with Ben's voice suddenly spoke. "You're welcome." He then suddenly jumped out of Vilgax and transformed once again. A dark shadow cast over Vilgax as he suddenly looked up and would have shaken in fear if his body hadn't been shut down.
He saw Waybig, bringing his hands together and cracking them individually then giving the alien a very sinister smirk. He picked up Vilgax with one hand and quickly took a baseball stance.
Vilgax's eyes widened and screamed. "NO NOT AGAIN-" His cries were for nothing as he was suddenly thrown out of Earth's atmosphere, the metal melted at high speeds before Vilgax's screams were suddenly cut off from the vacuum of space.
As Waybig admired his handy work he let out a sigh. "Finally that's over."

Eon's eyes shot open as he cradled his broken ribs and looked at the Team who were doing a very impressive job against him. He wasn't the strongest, fastest or most talented fighter, his swordsmanship was slightly above par. It was his power that made him a force to reckon with. Though their counters to him were easy it seemed, he shouldn't have shown all of his ability to Ben.
Just with the small amount of information he had shown to the shapeshifter they had a counter to every one of his moves.
Letting out a frustrated scream Eon suddenly got a notification on his arm gauntlet that notified him of what had happened to Vilgax.
Gritting his teeth he suddenly teleported. "I gave him one job!" Eon sighed "Whatever, next time you won't be so lucky."
"There won't be the next time," Aqualad states strong as he sends a water spear at him, Artemis and Robin both shooting at him, Miss Martian and Superboy both throwing giant boulders at him, and Kid Flash running at, at his top speed. Eon narrowed his eyes and teleported away.
All the attacks were missed as the whole team let out a sigh. Everyone took a seat on the ground. Even if they were winning it was a tuff battle all around and a lot of close calls were made. Aqualad was the only one still up to the place where Eon was an unreadable expression.
Mount Justice

The whole Team and some Justice League members that fought Vilgax, Batman included, stood at the mission area looking at each other. All the Justice League had proud expressions on their faces, Batman still had a stern face as he slightly gripped his cast on his arm from Eon breaking it, but it was clear he was proud as well.
"You all did good work today. You kept a steady and level head, even though your enemies were tough and got in your head." Batman said, looking at Ben who looked slightly down. "You pushed on forward," Batman walked up to the teen and put his hand on his shoulder "And did a damn fine good job."
Ben smiled at him and he even gave his own smile as the team all looked to their leader all showing similar expressions. "Get some rest. Tomorrow there won't be any training so enjoy it while you can." Batman said walking to the Zeta-tubes while the rest of the League gave their own congratulations. Soon they all left as well which just left the Team to themself.
"You did awesome man!" Wally suddenly cried out wrapping an arm around Ben's neck. "You just like pow, bam!" Wally said punching and kicking the air to try and recreate the fight.
"How are you feeling you looked pretty down earlier?" Artemis asked him as he just waved it off.
"I feel fine… now," Ben says as a blue portal opens up behind them. Azmuth stepping out of it, his face sporting an unreadable expression, Paradox walking out with him.
Wally leaned over to Robin. "Uh… who is that guy?"
"Which one?" Robin asked not knowing either of the two, him being the only one who missed the Doctor Fate mission.
"Azmuth," Ben walked up to the creator of the Omnitrix. "Thanks for the talk earlier. I really needed-" He stopped when he saw Azmuth holding out his hand. "What?"
"Your Omnitrix, hold it out." Ben did as told and held out the Omnitrix only for it to fall on the ground and disappear.
"A-Azmuth I thought I proved to you I could keep the Omnitrix," Ben asked.
"You-"
"Hold on a minute!" Surprisingly Superboy spoke out first and walked up to the alien frog. "Ben just saved a lot of people's lives today and you're taking away the Omnitrix from him?!"
"He right, you can't take away his Omnitrix from him after everything he's done today," M'gann spoke up.
"Well-"
"No way the guy has saved our asses more than once. He's totally able to wield that watch." Robin shouted with Wally behind him.
"Ben's our leader too, and each time we are in a pickle he puts us back on track."
"If you-"
"Yeah, he's a kind, strong and thoughtful guy, not something you see that often these days." The other guys in the room gave Artemis a deadpan glare. "No offense. The point is you can't take away his Omnitrix."
"I have to agree, after everything Ben has done for us and this world it is unjust to take away his powers," Aqualad said as the team stepped beside Ben ready to argue with him.
"For crying out loud Benjamin look at your wrist!" Azmuth cried and thanked every Celestialsapien out there that all the teens did so.
On Ben's left wrist he saw a new and improved Omnitrix. It still held the green hourglass symbol band being a mix of white and green. Ben quickly flipped through each alien and saw a few new ones in the list.
"This is THE Omnitrix. The prototype you found 6 years ago has nothing on this one. You'll find that all the previous codes are in there as well. Not Master Control though, that will have to be a birthday present." He explained dryly but still held a smirk on his face as Ben's eyes glowed at the sight of all the new aliens. "It's also linked to the original's aliens, any alien he has will soon or have already been unlocked for you as well, and I have also made a setting that will have the watch now collect alien DNA from this reality as well."
"Azmuth." Ben breathed, turning the dial on the watch and looking at the creator. "I don't know how to thank you…"
"Keep doing the right thing…" Azmuth said with a smile. "You've made me proud Benjamin. Good work." Azmuth said, turning around walking towards the portal as Paradox looked at Ben.
"Well done my boy, well done indeed. However be warned the fight is not over yet, both Eon and Vilgax will want revenge." Paradox said.
Ben smiled. "And we'll be ready for them."
Paradox smiled. "I suppose you will," Paradox said, turning to leave as well.
Both Paradox and Azmuth walked through the portal just barely hearing the geeky scream that came from the shapeshifting teen's mouth that made Paradox laugh as the portal closed.
"Tell me Azmuth what will you give the original Benjamin if he proves his worth in defeating the Dagon?" Paradox asked
"As if you don't already know." Azmuth said, yet he still decided to answer. "It won't be hard to copy the Omnitrix's design just look at Albedo's silly creation, the dial might take a little long but copying what I have already created should be a simple task as well." Azmuth said dryly. "Too bad doing so may create a few… glitches."
The way he said that officially implied that it wouldn't actually be copying the design that would make it glitch, it was the creator that would put in the glitches.
"I never knew you were so devious." Paradox commented with a smirk as Azmuth offered him a smile as well.
"The kid can prove his worth against the fight with the Dagon, however, I doubt that will change the fact that he will still act like a brat at times. I hope these glitches will one day bring the same attitude that this copy has."
Unknown Location
In a dark room that only had a couple of occupants, Vilgax laid on the floor unmoving as Eon went through his body to turn on his cybernetics again.
"What is taking so long?!"
"Your yelling is not helping you know." Eon gave his snarky remark and a second later he was able to turn Vilgax's cybernetic. Vilgax stood back and grabbed Eon's throat.
"Where were you during the fight!? The plan was to kill Tennyson and take his Omnitrix, correct? That way we could go back to our world and fight Tennyson and steal his Omnitrix as well."
Eon choked out an answer that couldn't be fully heard by the squid alien so he let him go but got ready to kill if need be.
"I was trying to find Tennyson myself. But his little team got in the way." Eon said gritting his teeth, he should have ended this partnership right now and killed the fool. But he couldn't he still needed him. "It still doesn't matter, killing this Tennyson and obtaining his Omnitrix was never the REAL plan, it was a bonus, although you are close to the true plan's intentions." Eon walked slightly forward to the person hidden in the shadows. The man's suit seemed to be glowing bright golden with an emblem in the middle of his chest that Vilgax didn't recognize.
A golden-yellow light shined in his pinkish clenched fist that made Vilgax question what it was.
"The real plan WAS to fight fire with fire, but not in the way you were thinking. If Tennyson holds the most powerful device in our universe. I believe it is only fair if you have the most powerful device in this universe." As Eon finished Vilgax's eyes widened and the man stood up from his chair as he looked upon Vilgax, his pinkish-purple face showing no emotion.
"Tell me… Vilgax… what will you do with this power I give you?" The man asked, Vilgax stood up straight as he remembered a moment that only occurred for a second when Ben showed up. How his hand started to tremble in… in… fear!
He hated that, his clawed hands clenched tightly as he found his answer. "I want to make Ben Tennyson fear me! To knock him off his high pedestal, for him to truly fear me, take his Omnitrix and do the same to the other Ben Tennyson's! In every universe!"
Vilgax breathed heavily at his long statement and the man smirked widely.
"I see." He unclenched his fist and the bright golden light was finally shown to the alien as a yellow ring. It quickly zoomed around Vilgax's form before resting near his head.
To Vilgax it seemed to be a star. "Vilgax," It spoke in a very robotic tone that took the alien off guard. "You are chosen."
"Welcome to the Sinestro Corps."
Some people might be confused with all the timelines here, I tried to make it so It would be in continuity for Ben 10. Vilgax is from after he is defeated and broken out of prison from the fight with the Dagon. Eon is from after he helped Maltruent in Omniverse but is going back in time to defeat Ben with Vilgax. Azmuth is from before the fight with the Dagon so Ben is still acting like a jerk, not like he changed much in Omniverse but they made him slightly more bearable at least. And Paradox… I don't think anyone can answer that question. Ironically not because I was inconsistent with the timeline but because I was consistent.
A lot of people hate the Omniverse Omnitrix design, I got to say I missed the green hourglass symbol too so think of Omniverse design but bulker and has the dial on it.
For the last bit, I know people are going to be salty about Master Control not staying. You guys I get it, Master Control is cool so are having new aliens that are from the Dc world, which will be showing up later down the line, but it just makes Ben WAY too fucking op. For right now at least. If he's too op then there aren't many stakes in a fight and if there aren't any stakes why make this an action fic at all.
