Beginning AN: a new year has begun and that means new chapters for my ongoing stories. I don't know when I'll make new chapters for all of my other stories but I'll start with this one. now on with the story.
Chapter 27: Johto Finale and Pre- Hoenn interlude
A week later the Hogwarts teachers set up the special pensieve again and it started the showing at when Hela, Titania, Dawn, Athena, Vulpix, Lily, Red, Jessie, James, and Meowth walk into the building where they would face the Johto elite four.
"You sure you want to use the same Pokemon that you did in the league?" Red asked. "You are allowed to change them now."
"I know." Hela said. "But these are the only Pokemon I was allowed to use in the Johto League so it just feels right to use them for the Johto elite 4 battle."
"Makes sense." The others shrugged as they left to the spectator stands while Titania, and Dawn returned to their pokeballs, and Hela went to the stadium.
The first battle was against Will, who sent out Bronzong, while Hela sent out Athena.
"Smart move." Will said. "Bronzong are known for the move Rain Dance, which makes the move Thunder Athena learns never miss. Unfortunately for you, Just because Bronzong knows Rain Dance doesn't mean it will use it. Use Imprison."
With that Athena glowed as she stopped being able to use any moves Bronzong also knew. Bronzong then tried to use Earthquake, only for Athena to use Magnet Rise, which Bronzong did not know. Athena then teleported behind Bronzong and used Fling to hit it in the back with the Big Nugget she was holding, actually catching it when it bounced off after dealing a lot of damage. Bronzong responded with Gravity, only for Athena to use a second fling to knock it out before it could use Earthquake. The next pokemon was Jynx, as Imprison wore off and Athena caught the Big nugget again.
Jynx tried to use Sweet Kiss, only for Athena to dodge with teleport, and use Fling knocking Jynx out while catching the Big nugget again.
"Okay how are you doing that?" Will asked as he sent out Grumpig. "Fling is supposed to make you lose the item after using it so you can't use fling again."
"Athena is trained to catch the item she used Fling with after it hits her opponent, that lets her use Fling multiple times, and as Big Nugget is one of the most powerful items to use with Fling, she has that as a hold item. At least when going up against a psychic type specialist due to Fling being a dark type move." Hela smirked. "Otherwise she uses a Light Ball."
"Shoot." Will grimaced as another Fling knocked out Grumpig, and knowing the same would happen to Xatu. Next he sent out Slowbro, who took the hit from Fling, but survived due to being naturally bulky. He then used disable stopping Athena from using Fling again. Unfortunately it was still defeated by a Knock off. Will then used Gardevoir, but Pikachu used quick attack to get close as it used imprison, then used Iron Tail for the win. The final pokemon was Xatu who was easily defeated by a Thunderbolt. Though Athena is a max level pikachu so it made sense.
"You did it Mami!" Lily said teleporting onto the field and hugging Hela.
"Thanks, Lily." Hela said. "Why don't you go back up with Grandpa Red. I still have more battles to do."
"Okay Mami." Lily said teleporting back up to the stands where she and Vulpix were in cheerleader outfits and cheering, willingly, while she had got, Red, Jessie, James, and Meowth to agree to it by using the puppy dog eyes at them until they agreed. Giving all of them a slight apprehension of fairy types due to her using her cuteness to get her way, much to their embarrassment especially as Koga and Lance was taking pictures.
"Cute kid." Will said. "She yours?"
"Mine, Titania, and Dawn's." Hela said. "We've been told by a goddess of death that She is the reincarnation of Titania's mother Lily Potter, though won't get her memory back until she evolves. Which will be an interesting time."
"I'll bet." Will laughed, as he left so Koga could join the field.
Meanwhile at Hogwarts...
Dumbledore, Minerva McGonnagall, Severus Snape, Sirius Black, Rubeus Hagrid and the rest of the present adults along with Nymphadora "say my first name and die" Tonks all have their Jaws drop because they knew Lily Potter Nee' Evans on a personal level.
Sirius says "the tiger lily has been reincarnated that's great news."
Severus says "as much as the thought disgusts me I agree with Black it'll be great to see my best friend again."
Minerva says "It'll be great to see one of my best former students again even if she's a magical creature now."
the rest of the reactions fall in a similar pattern of joy at finding out Lily Potter has been reincarnated.
most of the students that have heard of Lily Potter are simply shocked at the news while Tonks is mentally dancing in the streets at the news since she did visit the Potters before Voldemort attacked them.
Meanwhile back in Johto
The next battle Koga started with Skuntank, while Hela used Kitana. Kitana started off with Dig dodging a Toxic, and dealing a lot of damage before Skuntank used poison gas only for Kitana to use Hyper Voice to blow it back while knocking out Skuntank. Next was Toxicroak who went down to a single Psychic, and made Koga grimace, the only pokemon he had that might survive was Muk who he sent out next, and he used Toxic Spikes as he got very lucky and survived Psychic, however he was not expecting Kitana to have Magic Bounce, and have the toxic spikes sent back at his side. Next Muk used Sucker Punch, but Kitana easily took it, much easier then Koga was expecting as Muk was knocked out by a psybeam. Swalot was next, removing the toxic spikes, but like Venomoth, and Crobat afterwards went down to a single Psychic.
everyone at Hogwarts is told by Lily the PokeWitch the various types of Pokemon and the many moves each type can learn and her explanations are accepted.
Next was Bruno, who started with Lucario knowing Hela was using all psychic types, and Lucario being the best type matchup, while Hela used Dawn. Dawn immediately bent over as Lucario hit her with a bullet punch to the stomach only to knock out Lucario with a Psychic. Next was Hitmontop who used Fake Out, but unfortunately for Hitmontop Dawn had Traced Lucario's Inner Focus and knocked it out with Psychic. Next was Hitmonchan who did the same as Lucario, Bullet Punch only to be knocked out by Psychic, though he did get a critical hit. Machamp did the same and was again knocked out by Psychic, and the next one was Hitmonlee, who switched things up with Sucker Punch. Finally was Hariyama who did the same as Hitmonchan, getting a critical hit bullet punch leaving Dawn with a measley 3 hp, while she then knocked out Hariyama with Psychic.
"Everyone of your pokemon had priority moves." Hela said shaking her head as she returned Dawn to the pokeball. "I'm just glad Dawn could withstand them all."
"It was something." Bruno said. "If I had one more pokemon I would have won. And of course my pokemon know priority moves. hitting before your opponent can dodge is an important part of fighting."
the women population at Hogwarts swoon at how good Bruno looks while the men are jealous at Bruno's physique.
The next battle was against Karen and Hela sent out Titania, her first pokemon was Weavile, who started off with Ice Shard, only for Titania to teleport away and use Dazzling Gleam to knock it out with a wide attack it can't dodge. Next was Spiritomb who tried to use Destiny Bond, only for Titania to be too fast and knock it out with a Moonblast. Same with Honchkrow, Umbreon, and Houndoom. The final pokemon was an Absol wearing a necklace.
"Wait is that?" Hela said looking at the necklace.
"It sure is." Karen said. "When I heard the kanto champion was coming for the johto league I started training with Absol, and looking for this."
With that Absol mega evolved, and lanced forward with Sucker Punch only for Titania to teleport away and use Moonblast, but Absol turned around and used Shadow Claw to destroy it and rush forward with Megahorn. Titania, used Grass knot to trip Absol, and nail her with a Moon Blast. Absol responded with swords dance and Titania had her eyes glow. Absol then used Quick attack to get close, only to be lifted up by Psychic and hold her in place.
"How! Absol is a dark type she should be immune to psychic moves." Karen said in shock.
"We practiced using psychic powers while completely surrounded by dark type energy by shrinking down and training in the fur of a dark type." Hela said. "Did that enough times, and now we can use psychic power to affect dark type pokemon without the need for Miracle Eye. Speaking of looks like it is time for Future Sight."
"What?" Karen asked as the area around mega Absol suddenly exploded leaving a giant crater filled with rubble.
Mega Absol tried to get up only for Titania to use psychic to lift all of the Rubble and use it as a weapon to knock out Mega Absol for the win.
everyone at Hogwarts cheer at Hela's victory doubly so because Titania was the one who earned the victory for Hela.
The final battle was against Lance who started with Salamence while Hela smiled.
"I think this will be a good challenge for you. And as a Champion you should be able to handle her." Hela said sending out Latias.
Salamence went in for Crunch only to be knocked out by a Dragon Pulse.
"How!" Lance said in shock before noticing something wrapped around Latias body. "You gave her an Expert Belt. Well played."
Next was Garchomp, who tanked a Dragon Pulse before slamming into Latias with Dragon Rush before being knocked out by another dragon pulse. Next was Dragonite who used Extreme Speed, but luckily Latias is one of the fastest dragon types in the world and was barely able to dodge it, and hit Dragonite with Dragon Pulse in the back of the head for a critical hit, knocking it out. Next was Charizard. Latias responded by hitting Charizard with Mist Ball, dealing damage and weakening the special attack, allowing her to take less damage from flamethrower before knocking him out with Dragon Pulse. Next was Altaria who immediately used Perish Song finishing just as he was knocked out by a Dragon Pulse. The final pokemon was Gyarados. Latias hit him with Mist Ball, lowering his special attack, as he used Dragon Dance then tried to attack with Crunch, but was just slightly slower then Latias and was knocked out by a second Mist Ball giving Hela the win, just before Perish Song would have activated.
at Hogwarts Hagrid and Charlie both stare in awe at the dragon type Pokemon Lance uses and wonder where they can get some for themselves.
"Good job for your first battle." Hela said petting Latias' neck.
"First battle? You didn't train her?" Lance said in shock.
"Nope." Hela said returning Latias. "I caught her right before the silver league, and didn't have time to train her. But she is still a psychic and dragon type legendary so I thought it was fitting. Suprised you weren't able to beat her though. A full battle against a champion...I was expecting her to go down."
"I have been so focused on my role as a member of the Gmen, that my training has fallen to the wayside." Lance admitted. "I'll need to fix that, but congratulations. You are the new Johto Pokemon League Champion. And you are already the Kanto champion as well."
"Not for long." Another voice said as a guy walked onto the field. "My name is Rio, and I just finished beating the Kanto elite four, and now I'm coming after your championship title."
"I forgot the Kanto and Johto pokemon league use the same area." Hela said. "Let me heal my pokemon, and I'll give you your battle."
After healing the championship battle between Hela, and Rio began.
Hela sent out Kitana, while Rio sent out Jolteon. Kitana started with Dig, dodging the Thunderbolt, and knocking Jolteon out. Next he sent out Persian. Kitana rushed forward with Rock Smash, Persian tried to stop it with Screech, but Kitana had Magic Bounce which sent the move back and lowered Persians defense right before Kitana landed the Rock Smash, knocking Persian out. Next was Dodrio who ran forward with Drill Peck, only to be knocked out by a Hyper Voice. Next was Lapras but Kitana just smirked and knocked it out with Power Gem.
"Oh no." Rio paled knowing both of his last two pokemon had double weakness to that move, but had no choice but to send out first Scyther, then Charizard, and just like he feared both went down to a single Power Gem.
everyone at Hogwarts cheers at Hela successfully defending her title as Kanto Regional Champion.
"Aww man I lost." Rio groaned before leaving.
Hela and the others then went back to Pallet Town where they decided to go to Hoenn, which also had contests, and Red informed them that he would not be joining them in Hoenn, and Jessie James, and Meowth also would not be joining them, but until they left they spent time with their pokemon.
Hela, Titania and Dawn ride on Latias's back to Hoenn where they land in Littleroot town and meet Professor Birch, May Maple and her little brother Max Hela choose Mudkip, Dawn Chooses Treecko and Titania chooses Torchic as their Hoenn starters.
then Hela, Titania and Dawn start making their way to Petalburg City and May and Max join them on their journey.
Ending AN: that's the chapter. for the readers who've never seen the anime episodes that involve the journey through Hoenn or even played Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald or even Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire May is the female protagonist of the Hoenn Region in the games and she's one of Ash's canon travel companions in the anime.
Next Time: Hela, Titania and Dawn are introduced to Norman Maple the Gym Leader of Petalburg City along with a shy green haired boy named Wally and after helping him catch a Ralts they make their way to the first Pokemon Gym starting with a stroll through the Petalburg woods.
