"Explain now!" Batman ordered glaring at not only the Team but the new arrival as well who was named Koriand'r. A couple of the League members stood behind him including Flash, Green Arrow, Black Canary, and Red Tornado, basically the League members that weren't so good in space, while the rest of the League was fighting off Steppenwolf's fleet of Parademons.
Ben was quick to step forward and explain. "We checked out what was happening in the city, apparently Steppenwolf, the jerk on the broadcast, is also a slave driver and had captured Koriand'r as one of his 'prizes'." Ben was disturbed just saying that with the venom he used to spit out that last remark.
Batman narrowed his eyes. "How do you know she's not here as a double agent."
"She already consented for Miss Martian to do a mind sweep, she couldn't find anything and she is now more than eager to get revenge." Almost to prove Ben's point the girl's eyes lit up green and her fists started to glow the same color.
"She'll have to wait, the League is dealing with Steppenwolf's ship right now." Almost on cue, Batman places two fingers on his communicator as several members of the League were getting bombarded.
Nobody could close in.
Batman gritted his teeth as he turned away from the Team and started walking towards the Zeta Tubes. "Damn… Black Canary, Green Arrow, Flash, and Red Tornado you're with me. We need to help-" The others started to follow him before Batman was interrupted.
"Now hold on!" Ben spoke up appearing in front of them as XLR8 and then turning back to human. "This is still our mission, and it seems like you guys need an extra set of hands to complete it. I'm looking at a few good spares myself." Ben said eyeing his Team with a smirk as his Team all smiled and stood beside him. Koriand'r also floated beside them not knowing what was happening.
Black Canary narrowed her eyes before yelling, "No way! You, kids, aren't ready-"
"I believe we are," Kaldur spoke leaving no debate in his words.
Green Arrow spoke up next, "How are you going to get past all the Parademons and weapons?"
Kid Flash spoke up next, "Well take the Bioship, duh." He added insult to injury with his last word as he had his arm slung over Robin's shoulder with a big smile.
"And if the Bioship's cloaking fails?" Red Tornado asked next.
"Well bust our way through," Batgirl said, while being the newest member of the Team, seemed to fit right in.
"Once we're in we can take down this Steppenwolf guy and any lackeys he has with him!" Artemis added.
"We can free all the other prisoners he has too," Robin smirked.
"I hope they're all babes." Kid commented, making the team roll their eyes.
"Actually, only I was in the prison at the time so the ship would just be filled with Parademons..." Koriand'r commented.
"This is still too dangerous!" Black Canary cried out looking to Batman for some support but it seemed like he was contemplating letting them go.
"Isn't this Team made for stuff like this?" Zatanna asked with a raised brow.
"Recon and stealth missions are completely different from an alien dictator!" Flash tells them.
"They are trust me I've faced them before," Ben commented with a smirk. The League members looked at him, they always forget how much he experienced when he was in his original dimension. "Seriously, why are we even debating this, with Steppenwolf holding the whole planet hostage a lot of villains are going to start thinking that it's their time to shine and use this time to start doing crime sprees and breakouts. Earth still needs protectors and this IS still our mission."
Batman looked at the Team narrowing his eyes again. "You're going to go even if we say you can't, won't you?" It seemed like he asked the question but to be honest he already knew the answer.
"Yeah," Superboy says before walking in front of the Team and crossing his arms. "So either get on board or get out of the way."
Batman got hit with a wave of deja vu before he sighed.
"Do you have a plan?"
Ben smirked, "Always!"
Mount Justice
October 27th, 16:10
The cloaked Bioship flew around the mighty battle that was taking place between the Justice League and the onslaught of Parademons. Several blasts are being thrown across the battlefield.
Kid Flash looked out the window to watch the battle in awe and fascination. "This is so cool!"
Ben smiled before turning to Koriand'r. "So Kori why has-"
"Kori?" The princess of Tamerain asked.
"Oh, I was just giving you a nickname… sorry do you not like it?" Ben asked rubbing the back of his head sheepishly.
"No… I like it…" She said with a smile. "So what was it you wanted to ask?"
"So why hasn't Steppenwolf blown up the planet like he said he would if someone tried to force an attack? I mean no offense but are you that special of a 'prize' to him that he would risk it?"
Kori shook her head. "No, he was merely bluffing earlier, a weapon that can blow up a planet needs time to charge and the one he had on his ship is an older model. He said 4 of your earth hours because I believe that would be about the same amount of time it would need to charge for. If he could I think he would blow up the planet now."
Ben paled slightly, "Ok, let's try to destroy that first." He commented looking down at the duffle bag he kept that previously held the Team's new equipment. Before he could grab it Bioship suddenly shook.
Miss Martian gritted her teeth and winced. "We've been spotted, Bioship has taken some hits."
Ben looked out the windows and saw what appeared to be a ship hanger on the side of the huge spacecraft. "Go to the hangers well get on the ship there."
Miss Martian nodded before the ship zoomed towards the hanger door and shot a red laser from its front which made a huge hole in the side of the ship.
The Parademons inside were sucked out into the cold vacuum of space and the Bioship snuck right in.
Phasing out of the ship Ben, now transformed as Big Chill with his duffle bag wrapped around him, froze the hanger door shut. The rest of the Team all hopped out of the Bioship one by one. They all then bolted to the door and headed towards the control room where Steppenwolf and access to the weapon would be.
Koriand'r led the Team on where to go since she was the most accustomed to the layout of the ship. They used every stealth method they had, every time they encountered a Parademon keeping guard they stayed in the shadows and made a quick take-down.
They got to the control room doors ready. Koriand'r eyes and hands glowed with bright green energy, Superboy turned on his solar watch and his eyes glowed red, Miss Martian's eyes glowed green as well as she set up the telepathic link, Zatanna's cleared her throat while mumbling words back and setting up her spells, Kid Flash put down his goggles and started to breath a little heavier, Ben transformed into Four Arms and cracked his knuckles, Aqualad tattoos all glowed bright blue while he gripped his weapons, Batgirl, Artemis and Robin all drew the weapons as well.
'GO!' Ben shouted as he, Kori, and Superboy all delivered and punch to the door and knocked it off its hinges. What they saw made them all widen their eyes.
A monster.
That's the only thing that could decide this thing. A monster.
The monster seemed to be a mix-match to some of the aliens Ben had used. The monster gave Ben a terrifying feeling of deja vu. It had legs that resembled Four Arms and its secondary arms resembling Wildmutt, its head was a bizarre but similar look to Heatblast. Its left arm resembled Four Arms in color but it was a hand belonging to Wildmutt and a black tentacle protruding from the elbow. The tentacle has green circuit-like patterns similar to Upgrade, and blue stripes near the tip like XLR8's tail. Its right arm is a tentacle patterned after Heatblast's body. It had two big wings, Its right wing resembled Stinkfly while its left wing was a wing that didn't seem to belong to any of Ben's aliens but it still had Heatblast's pattern. Four white teneticals also came out of his back making a truly terrifying monster.
In its right tentacle seemed to have Steppenwolf in a choke hold with his body looking lifeless. Parademon blood was spattered all over the walls. Some corpses littered throughout the room too. Some had bite marks on them, some were burnt to ash, some looked cut open, and the rest just looked like they were pulled apart.
The Team all stopped breathing as they saw this but steadied themselves.
The monster looked at the Team and let out a hysterical laugh. They all felt a chill down their spine at the creepy laugh but none more than Ben himself.
"Well if isn't Tennyson and his Team full of brats!" Kevin laughed as he looked at each of his Team members. "Finally, I can kill you! You don't know how long I've waited for this!"
'Another old friend?' Kid asked sarcastically.
'Not a friend, but yeah, that's Kevin he absorbed my original ten aliens that were in the Omnitrix.' Ben thought to the others but still gulped slightly as he eyed his former rival.
"Huh, what no talking Benny-boy?! No quips? No annoying banter?! Fine, well do this the easy way!"
'Dodge!' Ben yelled out as the Team spread out just as a fireball landed where they just were.
'Ben any weaknesses?' Robin asked throwing a few of his exploding shurikens, all hitting their target but even after exploding they seemed to do nothing.
'None that I can remember, but my aliens do you have some weaknesses to exploit, but we'll call that plan B. Zee tried to use the cable around us to wrap him up. Superboy, Kori, Aqualad, and I will go in and try and hold him down. Everyone else keeps your distance and any opening you have to hit him take it!' Ben said as he rushed forward grabbing onto Kevin's left arm and tentacle holding it down while Superboy followed suit and grabbed Kevin by the neck and put him in a headlock.
Aqualad was next to jump in, his twin Water-Bearers forming a giant water hammer that slammed into Kevin's face.
"Lame!" Kevin taunts hurling Superboy off him and slamming him onto the ground before slamming his flaming right tentacle on top of him burning through Superboy's shirt. Superboy, however, took that as his opportunity and grabbed onto the tentacle and held it down while Kevin let out a grunt in annoyance.
"Arrgg!" A loud battle cry caught Kevin's attention as a green blast of energy suddenly slammed into his face. He let out a groan in pain before more had been thrown at him and slammed at various parts of his body. Koriand'r circled Kevin blasting him every chance she got.
Aqaualad came again with his Water-Bearers making a double-sided blade that pierced through Kevin's skin.
"Egnahc selbac otni sgnidnib!" Zatanna cast as the metal cables came up from the ground and the control center and wrapped around Kevin's body.
'Aim for the head!' Robin yelled out in the telepathic link with Batgirl and Artemis following his lead. Artemis's arrow had hit Kevin first, the arrow exploding on impact and encasing his head in a ball of ice. Batgirl and Robin's shuriken/Batarang slammed into the ice exploding it on impact.
Miss Martian used her telekinesis on the bindings, she brought her hands together like she was crushing a ball in her as her telekinesis continued to push the bindings into Kevin's body.
"You're not strong enough! HAHAHAHA!" He then launched a flaming glob of goo out of his mouth that was shot at Robin but KId Flash quickly rushed him out of the way. The goo slammed into the wall behind him and exploded on impact.
Kevin laughed again before he had Superboy's heat vision blasting into his head. "LAME!"
Spikes of crystal sprouted off of Kevin's body, the crystals snapped and cut the bidding on his body. He then launched the crystal in every direction of the room. Some stabbed into Four Arms and Superboy but thankfully everyone else was further away to dodge.
Ben slapped the onmnitrix's chest piece and transformed into Water Hazard. "Zatanna!" He shouted shooting a large torrent of water at Kevin.
Zatanna nodded before yelling out. "Dloc dniw wolb! Dloc dniw wolb! Dloc dniw wolb!" With those words, the water blasting Kevin turned into ice freezing him into place.
"We won!" Kori yelled out happily.
"No…" Ben stated simply quickly transforming into Armodrillo. He knew Kevin and he was never one to stay down. He was like a bizarro version of himself, which made him all the more scarier. "Get ready!"
Just like that Kevin broke through the ice and let out a roar. Armodrillo tackled him slamming a jackhammered fist into Kevin's gut. His fist quickly morphed into drills that stabbed into Kevin, Kevin's earlier wounds had healed so now he just had to keep him damaged.
Kori and Superboy were quick to jump in after him and tackle Kevin to the ground both releasing blasts of heat and energy from their eyes. The beams slammed into Kevin's face and made him yell out in pain.
"Move!" Aqualad yelled out as he supplied a puddle of water underneath them with his Water Pack and jumped on top of Kevin with his tattoo's glowing and his hands sparking with electricity.
Artemis and Robin both shot and threw arrows and shurikens at the puddle that released a great amount of electricity, Aqualad did the same with his powers. All helped in shocking Kevin with volts of electricity, however, the Osmosian laughed like it was the happiest day in his life. One of his tentacles grabbed Aqaulad and threw him off his body.
"None of you can defeat me! I'm the strongest!" Kevin yelled sending his tentacles throughout the control room slamming into the Team and some missing but breaking through the walls of the ship. They were lucky the control room wasn't near a wall to the outside vacuum of space.
Ben transformed again into Chromastone and shot an energy beam at the tentacle that was holding Kid Flash in place making it let go of the speedster. 'Kid wind tunnel, Kori, Superboy blast this asshole!'
Superboy shot his heat vision at Kevin's face once again stunning him for a second. Kori shot beams of green energy out of her fist that slammed into Kevin's chest, both attacks made the man slam back and hit the wall behind him his grip on the Team loosening. Chromastone shot a beam of energy that made Kevin start to wince in real pain, unlike the other times when it just felt like a pinch.
'We need to get out of here. Kid, you ready?' Ben asked a received a 'Yes'.
All of them ran towards the door before exiting the control room. Kevin came out of the wall and growled before running to the door with superspeed but he was hit with a cyclone of wind that pushed him back and slammed him into the controls of the ship. As the wind stopped the secondary doors to the control room shut and an alarm went off in the ship.
While Kevin couldn't understand the warning since it was in an alien language, Ben certainly could thanks to the Omnitrix's universal translator.
"Self-Destruction in 30 minutes!"
Ben's eyes went wide before looking up at the red alarm. "God dammit! Why is there always a self-destruct on these damn ships!"
The Team's eyes also went wide as they heard Ben rant.
"What do we do, I don't think we can beat that guy in a fight…" Kid said a little winded from the fight.
Ben grumbled before setting down his duffle bag that still had a Petrosapien crystal shard in it. He pulled out everything that was in the duffle bag. One thing he pulled out was a belt with an interesting-looking circular buckle, boots with balls on the bottom of it, what looked like a small attachment device, and finally the box that Red Elemento used that upgraded his tech.
"Woah… is that…?" Robin asked Ben and he nodded.
"Yeah, the Glavanic-Mecamorph armor Red Volcano used." Ben then dialed in an alien and transformed into a small red devil-like alien that seemed to be jumping for joy for just being there. "Yes! Yes! Yes! Juryrigg!" Juryrigg then zipped around the hallway they were in taking the belt, boots, and device and using parts around him to help build and fix the devices. "Disassemble! Disassemble! Fix! Fix! Fix!"
Kid Flash laughed at the small alien. "Whoa did this alien take a gallon of caffeine or something?!" Robin snickered to himself as well finding this amusing.
"On he's so cute, he reminds me of some of the pets on my planet," Koriand'r said sweetly.
Artemis looked over at her with a raised brow. "You have pets on your planet that look like little devils?"
"Yes, they are oh so cute! And oh so excitable!" The alien girl says with a laugh.
"All done!" Juryrigg says changing back into Ben now holding the devices in his hands. Ben quickly handed the boots and belt to Kid Flash while giving M'gann the small attachment device.
"Wait, what are these?" Miss Martian asked confused.
"I gave the rest of the Team some upgrades and figured I needed to give you guys some too." He said with a smile before handing the Galvanic-Mecamorph armor to Batgirl. "The belt is a kinetic booster in a sense, it will allow you to slam things with more impact and less injury for you, thinking about putting another on my new car I'm designing."
"Either way, the boots are to help you run faster the balls on the feet are the same as XLR8's which will help you with speeding up. For Miss Martian, I made a sorta psychic headpiece. It expands one's psychic powers the more you have it on but after a little, it's going to breakdown sense I haven't found a good enough power source for it, however, your upgraded psychic abilities should stay even after it breaks."
As Ben stated all this the Team looked more and more in shock. They knew he was working on something with aliens but had no idea what.
JUST HOW SMART WERE THEY?!
Kid Flash couldn't stop grinning at his new gear. "This is so COOL! I could kiss you!"
Miss Martian, quite boldly for her, stated "I will!" She says before quickly kissing Ben on his lips and pulling back. Once again the Team looked on in shock at the shy Martian girl's boldness.
Batgirl was the first to snap out of her stupor. "Wait why are you giving me the Galvan… Galvanic… Mecha-?" She tried to say holding out the box in her hands.
"Galvanic-Mecamorph Armor," Ben stated with a smirk. "I had no idea you or Kori would join the Team on the same day so I didn't have anything for either of you. But I was upgrading the Mechmorph armor to follow the Team's command and I feel like it would be fine giving it to you."
Batgirl smiled before the box suddenly melted onto her skin and wrapped itself around her. Her outfit was now a mixture of blue and black, the bat symbol still on her chest, her mask that completely covered her face with her eyes glowing blue. Batgirl cried out in excitement as she looked herself over.
"Kid is right! This is so cool!" Batgirl states as she couldn't help but keep looking at her new upgrades.
"Try to absorb any tech you can see," Ben said and Batgirl nodded grabbing onto one of the unconscious Parademon's spears and armor and absorbing it into her armor.
"What's the plan?" Aqualad asked looking at Ben and seeing him smile.
Time till Self-Destruction

Kevin ran throughout the halls of the ship in his human form with XLR8's speed.
'This has been a long time comin', Benjy!' With his abnormal hearing from Wildmutt, he heard a loud clang sound from another room. He quickly ran to the source and looked around. He couldn't see the shadowy figure hiding. Kevin quickly sniffed the air before grinning. "Next time, Benjy, don't try to hide from the guy with super senses!" Kevin yelled out before transforming his arm into a white tentacle that grabbed Ben in the shadows and pulled him towards Kevin.
Kevin grinned as he saw Ben was in his human form and could see him struggling under the grip.
"Aww, look at you Benjy, all grown up." Kevin taunted.
"What about you, you're supposed to be seventeen now right? Why do you look like one of the guys in KISS that came out of retirement?" Ben asked seeing Kevin's long hair and older-looking face.
"Oh, I'm not exactly your Kevin 11 I'm an improved version, just call me Kevin 11,000!"
Ben raised a brow at that, 11,000 like Ben 10,000? Could this be an alternate version of Kevin from the future? That would explain a lot and Eon is a time traveler, right? He's going into alternate timelines just to kill him now?
'Geez, what did I do to piss this Eon guy off…' Ben commented in his head with a deadpanned expression. "11,000 huh? So you stole my powers and claimed they were better when you are just a cheap knockoff version of me, then you steal my future counterparts' shtick as well? Are you such a doofus that you can't do anything original?" He added a smirk at the end. He made sure to add the doofus since that always managed to tick people off when he was a kid.
Kevin growled, literally growled, before his entire body shifted to his monstrous form. "Doofus? Doofus?! This coming from the guy that forgot one of his powers?! The guy that's all alone?! The guy that was stupid enough to approach me in his human form?!"
Ben laughed, which made Kevin angrier. "Wow, you are wrong on so many levels. First of all, I never forgot about your supersenses." On cue, three objects landed next to the monstrous Kevin 11,000. Two were arrows and the other was a red shuriken disk that let out a laugh and beeping sound. All three then gave a very high-pitched noise that made Kevin clutch his ears.
"I'm not alone either," Ben stated, while Kevin still hung onto him his back was being bombarded with blasts from Superboy, Koriand'r, and Batgirl, who was firing from an arm cannon that was shooting exploding blue-Batarangs.
Kid Flash then slammed into Kevin's back making the already burnt weak spot give off a loud crack and break. Kevin cried out in pain letting Ben go as the teen grinned.
"One other thing," Ben stated his human form slowly shifting into a large green humanoid alien. "I was never in my 'human form'." He started reaching out his hands as Kevin suddenly felt a giant weight on his shoulders.
Flashback
"What's the plan?" Aqualad asked looking at Ben and seeing him smile.
Ben transformed into a form he has been meaning to transform into for a while now. He slapped down on the Omnitrix dial and transformed into a long-limbed and fingered creature. It had a narrow abdomen, revealing the form of a wide pelvis. It also has a membrane under its upper arm and thick protective skin on its lower arms. Its face is squat, with exposed teeth and gums, and small red eyes.
M'gann gasped slightly a fear for the worst as she saw Ben had transformed into a green Martian.
"Who's that…?" Superboy asked already feeling like he knew but had to confirm it.
'It's a Martian.' Ben stated telepathically throwing a lot of them for a loop besides Superboy and Koriand'r. Conner nodded confirming his suspicion while Kori slightly tilted her head in confusion she figured they knew the Martian girl didn't look like she did now.
M'gann looked down in shame as it seemed like a dagger was getting dragged through her heart. 'And our team member isn't a green Martian like this one but another race of her species called a white Martian.' M'gann felt like she was going to cry. Of course, Ben knew, he must have had both Martian options to turn into in his Omnitrix for the longest time.
Silence took over the hall before Ben reached out and put a hand on M'gann's shoulder. She looked up at him as he smiled at her.
'It's ok M'gann.' He stated.
Miss Martian looked around her to see while some of the Team looked on in shock there was also a sense of calmness from them. She expected them all to act like she was disgusting and that she now wasn't worth anything.
'We wouldn't have judged you no matter how you looked. Your our team member, our family, remember that.' M'gann looked up at him with a smile and nodded her head.
"Understood!" She said her voice cracking as tears of joy threatened to come down her face.
End Flashback
'M'gann now!'
'On it!' The Martian girl said using her telekinesis while shifting to her white Martian form that looked similar to Ben's form.
The ground underneath Kevin started to creak, groan, and snap. Kevin, much to his dismay, fell through the floor and landed in a weapon vault. Ben then warped the metal and closed the hole in the floor.
They all then started moving to the Bioship. "So what are you going to call this one?" Superboy asked.
'Hmm, I was thinking, Mind Reaper!'
Kid Flash hummed, before shivering. "That's good and all, but isn't that close to something pretty bad?"
It took them all a second to figure it out, with only half the Team realizing what he meant, when they did they all shivered as well. 'Yeah, I might change that name later.'
Time till Self-Destruction

Ben transformed back into a human before stopping in his tracks and looking back to where they came from. Artemis looked back at Ben just as she and the Team were about to enter the hangar.
"Ben, what's up?"
"You guys go, I'm going to hold off Kevin till the ship blows," Ben says turning into a new alien that looked like a living planet. It has a large, bulky, reddish-brown body with rocky skin, a giant mouth with teeth that are also made of rocks, and a molten lava planet core at the center of its body. The Omnitrix symbol on his forehead.
"No way are we leaving you here to fight that thing!" Robin said standing beside Artemis as more of the Team heard Ben's declaration and went back to help.
"Kevin isn't going to stop until I'm dead. He's not going to give up even if he sees the ship exploding. He'll still try to kill me. His hatred of me makes him stupid. This might be our only chance to take him down for good. And I'm not putting you all at risk."
"We're not leaving you!" Kid Flash stated.
Ben looked back in his new form. "Please… I promise I'll come back! But right now this is a fight between me and Kevin. One that we have to end!"
Aqualad looked at Ben. 'You better keep that promise, my friend.' He nodded "Before walking off to the Bioship we need to go! Now!" He started dragging some of the Team members with him.
"What we can't leave him!" Artemis yelled out toward Aqaualad.
"Artemis," Ben called out, making the girl look at him. "I'll be back."
Artemis looked as if she was about to cry but held it in before she nodded and ran to the Bioship a lot of the Team doing the same but all looked reluctant.
"New guy, huh?" Kevin mockingly asked as he slowly walked down the hallway in his human form. "So… what are you going to call this guy?"
Ben smirked. "I was thinking Gravattack." He stated, his hand glowing with green energy as he brought his hand down. Kevin felt him drop to his knees. He tried to transform to get back up but even after transforming the weight on him was too great.
"Arrgg!" He struggled to get to his feet. Ben smiled as he heard the Bioship blast through the ice that he used to block off the hanger from the vacuum of space.
"It's over, Kevin!"
Kevin gritted his teeth. "Not on your life, Tennyson!"
With the rest of the Team
Everyone was in silence as they flew back to Earth, they had informed the Justice League of the self-destruction and they could see them all leaving the battle only a few Parademon's remained but they wouldn't after the blast.
Superboy grunted before walking to the back of the Bioship. Everyone looked at him wondering what he was doing.
He then remembered something Superman had recently taught him, how he managed to survive in space without a mask. He started to take a deep breath and kept all the oxygen and air in his lungs.
Back with Ben
"Damn you, Tennyson! You turned me into this monster!" Kevin yelled out at Gravattack as the alien kept his gravity attack going.
"Me?! I offered you a way out, I offered you a way to help others and not just yourself and you took that as a way to gain more power and turned into a freak because of it!" Ben yelled out keeping his attack up.
"What about the Null Void?! You kept a child locked up in there for years!"
"You put yourself in there when you put my family at risk and when you teamed up with Vilgax of all people!"
Kevin looked down in thought before transforming back into a human. "Your right…"
Ben raised a brow at this lowering the amount of gravity he had on Kevin.
"Your right… It's too late for me…" Kevin stated with a look of shame.
Gravattack stopped his attack and walked up to Kevin. "It's never too late, Kevin." He said offering a hand to the man.
Kevin looked up at him. "Really?" He said reaching out to grab Gravattack's hand.
Both boys suddenly felt a wave of nostalgia hit them. From their first battle, a deformed Kevin looks more Teramand than human and a human Ben reaches out a hand of friendship for him to take.
They then felt memories that weren't their own, of a different Ben and Kevin both of similar ages shaking each other's hands as team members and friends.
Two roads, two different choices that they made.
But it didn't matter.
Because both boys knew what choice they would make.
Plus these two boys were different from the other two.
Kevin had lost all the innocence that he ever had. All he cared about was revenge.
And Ben…
Kevin suddenly spawned a sharp crystal, thanks to Diamondhead's powers, and got ready to stab Ben in the chest.
And Ben… was a lot less gullible.
Kevin stopped in his tracks as he realized all the weight was back on him and felt himself getting crushed.
"Fooled me once," Ben stated before he put some weight on the roof above him and sent it piling down on Kevin's head.
Gravattack then turned and started running for the hangar. He almost got to the door but Kevin, in his monstrous form returned and grabbed Gravattack and pinned him to the wall.
He sent an electric blast through Gravattack's body. "Once I kill you, I will decimate this world and your little Team!"
Gravattack growled but both stopped as they saw two hands shoot out of the door to the hanger and pry the door off the wall. Ben widened his eyes as he saw Superboy.
Behind him, the air was being sucked into space and all three aliens felt the pull but they were all strong enough to fight against it.
"What- what are you-" Ben asked him but was cut off.
"You had a minute left," Superboy said with heavy breaths. "And I got tired of waiting." Superboy rushed at Kevin and delivered a fierce uppercut to his jaw and sending Kevin spiraling toward the wall.
"Damn, you!" Kevin 11,000 yelled out as he rushed at the two. He used his right and left tentacles to grab them and throw them into the hangar where everything was still being sucked out into space.
Gravattack increased their weight to make it so they stayed on the ground instead of being blown into space.
"You will all die!" Kevin screamed out a purple sound wave about to hit them but they both dodged out of the way.
"Yo- you ready?" Superboy asked with heavy breathing.
"Yeah!"
"IT'S HERO TIME!"
Kevin's eyes widened as they both delivered a punch to his face which sent him flying back. "ARRRG!" Slammed his right tentacle on the ground and sent a large amount of green electricity through the metal hoping to shock them.
Gravattack curled up into a ball and levitated off the ground. Superboy was hit by the electricity but powered on through and still ran towards Kevin shooting heat vision out of his eyes that spit through Kevin's chest.
Superboy then delivered a harsh tackle and slammed Kevin into the ceiling before moving out of the way of Gravattack who increased Kevin's weight and slammed him into the ground before slamming him into multiple parts of the hanger. While this is happening the ship had hit its self-destruct timer and was currently blowing up sections of the ship.
Superboy with his super hearing could hear it and decided they needed to wrap this up.
He charged Kevin one more time, Kevin tried to use his fire but the suction from space put it out instantly. Kevin tried throwing Diamondhead shards at him but they were also sucked out into space before they hit their target.
Gravattack pulled Kevin towards him with Superboy lining up his punch. Both then delivered a super punch right into Kevin's face and sent him hurdling toward the exploding part of the ship.
With almost no sound both boys could barely hear the "NOOOOO!"
Both Ben and Superboy ran out of the hangar and started flying toward Earth.
Mount Justice
October 27th, 23:10
The whole Justice League stood in front of the Team, all of them had a couple of bandages tied around them. Some even had black eyes while others had broken bones.
Batman was the first to step forward. "Good job." He said simply making the Team look at him.
"Originally today we were going to have you take a test. You would be put in a psychic simulation where you wouldn't have any chance of winning. The Justice League would be dead and you were under attack by an alien invasion, there wouldn't be any chance of you winning because with each scenario there would be another, and another, until you all had died as well." Batman stated as each of the Team members looked at each other before agreeing to hear out the rest of Batman's speech.
"But today you showed us what would happen in that scenario, where the Justice League can't help you and you all were on your own." The Team all smiled at that. "You persevered through every challenge." Koriand'r, and M'gann both hugged each other in happiness. "You showed great strength," Kid Flash high-fived both Robin and Aqualad. "And teamwork throughout the mission." Zatanna, Batgirl, and Artemis all shared a smile. "And you made the tough call." Conner and Ben both fist-bumped and smirked.
The Justice League smiled as the Team all started to celebrate their accomplishments. "And let's welcome our two new members!" Ben called out grabbing both Batgirl and Koriand'r. Batgirl was in her normal suit now but still had the Mechamorph armor with her.
"Can't wait for the next mission!" Batgirl said with a large smile.
Koriand'r smiled as well. "Yes, I can't wait for our next adventure as well!"
Artemis smirked a little before bumping Kori's shoulder. "You know, your going to need a hero name if you're going to work with us."
Kori thought for a moment before she smiled. "Well… my name translates as Starfire in English. So you can call me Starfire!"
The Team all smiled and kept up their celebration, Captain Marvel joining making them all laugh at his childish attitude.
Space
October 28th, 3:00
Kevin's body floated in space for hours slowly colliding with stray remnants of the ship.
His eyes slightly opened as he saw a purple portal open up in front of him that he floats through.
