Mt. Freeze Revelation

At long last, the group was at the foot of Mt. Freeze where Hecate the legendary Ninetails resided. Amaris was eager to find out the truth of her past. She looked at her small group and she asked if they still had their Reviver Seeds in their paws. Noctis, being the new member of Team Unity asked for one, and fortunately for him Amaris had gained a notorious reputation of storing a large number of reviver seeds and gave one to Noctis.

Amaris asked Noctis, "What Pokémon are native in this place?"

Noctis cautioned the small group, "There are Slaking, Vigoroth, Seel, and Seviper in this mountain. Don't worry some of the Zangoose can help given their conflict with the Seviper. So long as you stay close with me, you won't be harmed."

The group began to venture into Mt. Freeze, hoping to find out the truth about Amaris. Amaris was nervous as she didn't want to believe that she was the human who foolishly touched one of Hecate's nine tails. After climbing 14 floors, the group continued to press onwards to find the stairs, a red and white Pokémon that resembled a cross between a cat and a mongoose blocking the stairs. This Pokémon was a Zangoose. Next to the Zangoose was an Abomasnow.

The Zangoose warned the small group to turn back face his Fury Swipes. Amaris refused and she stated, "I will not stop until I find out the truth of who I was before being turned into a Pikachu. I'm also trying to find Hecate."

The Zangoose stated as he positioned himself in a protective stance, the Abomnasnow moved behind him as if trying to make his partner look imposing, "I, Boromir Furyclaw will not let you pass. If you truly wish to see Hecate, those stairs can lead you to the crossroads between returning to the bottom of the mountain or going up further to visit Hecate. You must prove your worthiness to us. However, I advise you one last time: One does not simply walk up to Hecate and ask for her council, there are stronger Pokémon that will not care about your level, they will show you no mercy for encroaching in this mountain. Pupitars are also common because they can create sandstorms that will buffet you and your team. Either turn back now or my partner, Faramir Winterwood will freeze you in your tracks before you can do anything."

Amaris tried to reason with the two by explaining her situation, but Noctis and Faramir noticed a male Seviper entering in the same room and wrapped around his coils was a roll-call orb and unfortunately it was activated. Suddenly, the room quickly turned into a Monster House, as a large number of Seviper began to fall into the room.

Boromir was enraged by the Seviper's actions; however, he didn't blame Amaris or her group as he offered that if she would help them defeat the Seviper, he and his partner would allow Amaris and her party to take the stairs.

Amaris liked that deal, and she began to unleash a powerful shockwave towards the Seviper heading for Boromir, Badru began to use his Fury Swipes with Luna by his side. Robin began to use his Focus energy on himself and his comrades. Boromir used his own Fury Swipes on the Seviper that was about to bite Amaris from behind her back. Faramir used his Powder Snow, causing the area they were in to have heavy snow falling like a hard rainstorm. This gave Robin an idea and he used his Flamethrower attack to melt the snow above the large crowd of Seviper, making them wet to allow a conductive electrical attack. When Amaris unleashed a Thunder Shock, it began to evolve into a Thunderbolt as the electricity began moving from one Seviper to another.

The Seviper began to feel an agonizing paralysis; the remaining Seviper decided to flee retreating from the area, this made Boromir, and his partner look in shock at the surprising teamwork, and they ultimately decided to allow the group to carry on their journey.

Faramir told the group to not get used to this, as there would be a time they cross paths again.

As Amaris was glowing from the electrical attack, she began to order her group to walk in a single filed line.

When the group reached the Kangaskahn Statue, they decided to rest for a moment. Amaris looked inside of the statue for apples to share with her team.

Badru asked Amaris, "Do you think that Boromir will join our team?"

Amaris answered with a stern tone, "At this point, we cannot recruit anyone else. We're still fugitives, sadly."

Akantha told Amaris, "You shouldn't jump to a conclusion yet. I hope that Hecate will clear that charge on you."

Robin stated, "Akantha's right, Amaris."

Luna stated that they should continue moving, given that Gandalf and his team would still be on their trail.

Amaris understood and she decided to press forward with her fellowship.

Mt. Freeze's peak was as cold as the ice that covered this mountain. Amaris decided to scout a little further as she ordered Robin and the others to stay put and she noticed a Slaking sleeping on the stairs that would lead them to the second floor of the peak.

Amaris scurried back to the team, and she stated, "Unfortunately, we're facing up against a Slaking sleeping on the stairs."

Amaris turned her attention to Akantha, and she asked the grass Pokémon if Slaking had any weaknesses.

Akantha told her that Slaking had weakness with fighting moves.

Robin saw this as an opportunity to practice a new move he required, Double Kick.

The group proceeded to enter the room with caution, Irwin looked around to ensure that there were no other Pokémon in the room. Akantha and Badru was providing coverage and Akantha spotted a Seel that was heading towards Irwin, and she used her Vine Whip to smack the Seel away from the heroes.

She snapped, "Back away. I may look like a vulnerable Grass-type, but I have fought Water-types."

Seel shouted at the Slaking, "Sloth! You got some intruders!"

Robin used his Double Kick attack on the Slaking, which sent him sprawling on the ground. Amaris ran to the stairs and told her companions that they must proceed.

When the group got to the next floor, they found the stairs adjacent to them. Amaris saw this as a race, and she began to use agility to increase her team's speed, and she decided to make this into a race to see who would get to the stairs first. Luna loved the idea, and she cried out, "Let's start this race."

Amaris began to speed towards the stairs, hoping to get to them before an enemy would stand on it. Amaris was able to reach the stairs, allowing her and her fellowship to move forward.

When they reached the peak, Amaris noticed that Hecate wasn't there, and she suddenly heard Gandalf's voice piercing the silence, "We have found them at last."

Robin turned around and he noticed Team ACT was now behind them and Draco complained how Amaris' fugitive act has led them to this cold place.

Just as Gandalf and Amaris' teams were about to clash, a Ninetales appeared, breaking up the fight. The Ninetales was a beautiful golden fox with crimson eyes and had nine tails. Each imbued with a curse.

Gandalf asked, "Are you-?"

The Ninetales scolded Gandalf, "I am Hecate. I will not allow you to attack my guests, Gandalf."

Gandalf asked Hecate if the legend was true or not.

Hecate told them that the legend was true, however Amaris was not the human that was cursed to become a Pokémon.

Draco stated, "I knew there was something fishy about Gideon's story. Amaris didn't seem like a treacherous type."

Robin, Irwin, Akantha, Badru, and Luna were not amused by this, and they began to demand an apology from Team A.C.T.

Gandalf apologized, "I had no idea that I jumped to a false conclusion."

Terra stated, "I would argue that since Gideon started this, he should apologize for making a fool out of us!"

Hecate also stated, "There is also no correlation with the foolish human and the disasters in our world. However, I would advise to be on your guard-"

Suddenly the ground began shaking, as if an earthquake was hitting the region.

Gandalf muttered, "Gaius."

Amaris asked, "Gaius?"

Gandalf answered, "He is a Groudon. This legendary Pokémon is beyond any of you because Gaius is said to have created the landmasses and is in an eternal struggle with Poseidon the Kyogre. My team and I will go down and quell this beast. This can take a few days. I recommend using them to rest."

Gandalf turned to the group, and he stated, "I would advise you, Amaris, to return to the town, so you can clear your name."

Amaris was eager to return to the town.

Meanwhile back in the town, Gideon was enraged to see the townsfolk exhausted. Carlos argued that most of them turned away from Mt. Blaze due to the intense heat. Things began to take a turn for the worse for Gideon as Chanda who was hiding a secret smile, as she rushed to the town square crying, "Amaris has..."

Gideon "We're rid of Amaris?"

"No." laughed Chanda, "The opposite, Amaris is back!"

Gideon didn't believe her at first, but when he pushed her over, he saw Amaris returning with Robin, Luna, Irwin, Badru, Akantha, and Noctis by her side; a shocked expression was on his face.

The town was shocked to see Amaris having a small fellowship.

Noah cried with enthusiasm, "Amaris! You're back!"

Irwin shouted, "Hi, everyone! We're back."

Noctis was astounded to see that he was now in the Pokémon Square. Amaris told Noctis that it would take some time for him to get used to this beautiful village.

Badru was so happy to be back in the square once more.

Gideon decided to ruin the celebration by yelling, "Hey Robin! Irwin!"

Robin snapped, "Oh, it's you, Gideon. It's been a while."

Chanda began to laugh at this, and she stated to Gideon in her thoughts with glee, "Say goodbye to Team Meanies bank account."

Robin scolded Gideon, "Gideon, you pulled the wool over the eyes of the town with those lies about Amaris. Amaris was innocent and had nothing to do with Hecate's curse."

Badru's father's tail flickered in agitation as he stated to Gideon, "Unfortunately for you, your Team Meanies' account has been declared null and void. All the Poké that you stored has been transferred to Amaris' team. Consider this penalty for your dishonesty towards your fellow Pokémon."

Robin explained to the town that they met Hecate the Ninetales and confirmed that Amaris was not the human who touched one of Hecate's nine tails.

Noah revealed that he too believed in Amaris as innocent.

Gideon tried to ask for some proof, only to receive angered jeers from the town.

Nigel the Pelipper as if on cue shouted as he dropped articles, "Extra! Extra! Read all about it."

Basil had no idea what this was about and when he read the article, he began to feel dread, knowing that his parents were going to be infuriated with him for aiding and abetting a troublemaker.

Carlos wasted no time as he read the article that said, "Extra Pokémon News: Amaris Innocent! Amaris and her team visited Hecate under the watchful eye of Gandalf and proved they had nothing to do with the human in the legend. As a result, Gideon's words were nothing but malicious lies."

Gideon cried, "Run!"

Chanda had enough of Gideon's foolishness as she walked right up to Gideon and slugged him in the face.

Chanda snapped at Gideon, "When I asked you if you've seen Amaris, you told me no. Because of your dishonesty, I quit your team. Guess what? To add insult to your injury, I made a bet with the Persian Bank manager Mr. Ardeth that if Amaris returned with the truth no matter what day it was all the Poké that we collected would be transferred to Team Unity's account. I'm joining Amaris' team, and you will not stop me."

Amaris was shocked to see this and Chanda told Amaris, "I was supporting you in secrecy. I didn't want my cover blown until the time was right."

Basil was about to run for it, but his father was right behind him and decided to take Basil to have a long talk about what he had done.

Hannibal was enraged by this as he snapped chasing after the ghost-type Pokémon, "Gideon! I'll make you regret your decision!"

Hannibal wasn't alone as Carlos and Percy the Snubull followed suit.

The parents of Amaris' teammates began flocking in as they began to reunite with their children.

It was a great day.
