Ace felt himself waking up and opened his eyes to see Marco beside him, which had him smile as he stretched a bit, before he sat up. But as he did, he blinked. He wasn't in his room or Marco's room, he was in… the captain's room. But this was Marco's bed. Ace felt confused as he looked around, as this really was the captain's room. He could even see his clothes on a chair, his dresser here, and more things that were his. While he was busy being confused, Marco woke up and sat up as well. "Morning, yoi." Ace was on his way to answer, but stopped when he turned towards Marco. His hair was much longer. It reached down past his shoulders. This all felt so wrong.

Ace tried to make sense of this, but couldn't, so he tried to figure out what to say. "Why… why are we in this room? Why not your room? Or mine?" Marco blinked and looked confused. "This is our room, Ace." Ace blinked. "How long?" Marco looked worried and confused. "Ace, this has been our room for a year, after Pops retired, yoi." Ace blinked, this was not right. "Who's captain then?" Marco looked more worried. "Ace, are you okay, yoi?" Ace blinked. "Humor me." Marco still looked concerned. "You are. You've been for almost a year. You were the best choice as you beat Pops in a fight. Don't you remember, yoi?" Ace wanted to say no, but didn't want to make Marco freak out. "Sure, just morning tiredness." Marco nodded but didn't look to truly believe it. Ace didn't believe it either.

They then got out of bed, and Ace felt more shocked when Marco put on clothes. Not his usual vest and shorts, but a shirt with a jacket, pants, and actual shoes, not the sandals. This was odd. Did he change dimension again? No, he would have remembered that. They then got out on deck and everyone said hi to him, some even staying "Good morning, captain." And Ace felt this was so odd and wrong. When they got to the main deck, he looked at the captain's chair. It wasn't Whitebeard's chair, but now a smaller size of it, perfect for Ace, so Ace went and sat in it, as he didn't want to seem way off before he figured this out.

As he was sitting, more woke up, and Ace felt he was in a weird place. When Izou came out, he had on a shirt and pants, no makeup, and Haruta had on a pixie dress. As Ace sat in the captain's chair, his chair apparently, thinking that he had to be going insane as he saw people looking off. But then as he thought that, Thatch came around the corner and Ace was sure he wasn't going insane, he was insane. The reason for this was that Thatch had a medical coat on, had a buzzcut, and over all looked like a doctor. Ace wanted to ask, but he was sure Marco was already worried enough, and decided to formulate himself differently. "Marco, where is Bay?" Marco hummed. "I can get her on a Den Den, she is preparing the troops on Moby 2 as they are going to fight someone who took over an island we control. You remember that, right, yoi?" Ace nodded. "Sure. Bay is good at her job." He hoped that would work, and it apparently did as Marco just nodded and said. "Yes, she still proves herself as amazing as ever as our head of fighting. She might not look like it, but she is fierce and strong." While yes, that did make sense as Bay could fight, Ace now was sure he was insane.

The day then went on, and he tested the water out carefully, and everything was odd. He found out Izou and Thatch were not together, many looked off as they had on different clothes, were in different divisions, sounded different, or just being gone. He still hasn't seen Trevor, Mika, Cioup, Soul or Quinn, and he didn't want to ask. He had to have changed dimensions. He did get the newspaper and started to read it and felt himself going more and more insane. While he read, he found out Akainu was a pirate apparently, Yasopp was captain of a pirate crew and a Yonko, odd. Garp was apparently a pirate with his own crew, called The Fists, which fit, but still odd. Then he found something called 'Soul Times', which was inputs from the head of the newspaper, which was Soul, which again, it fit, but wrong. But when he read on, he found a picture and input about The Straw Hats, and his brothers looked good and normal, but in the picture was Shanks, who was apparently a part of their crew, and Ace felt shocked. Where did Ace end up this time?

After a bit, Ace decided he needed to figure this out, and he couldn't feel Dust, but felt he had marks around, and he felt he had one on Amegakure. So Ace looked at Marco. "I need to leave for a bit, but I will be back." Marco looked at him. "Is everything okay? You've acted off today, yoi." Yes, Ace might act off, but that was since the world was wrong. Ace shook his head. "No, I just need to speak with someone I remembered." Marco nodded. "Okay, be safe, yoi." Ace nodded and smiled. "I will." Then he gave a kiss to Marco, before he left.

As he landed on the island, he felt this was more odd as there was no rain, meaning no Moira. As he was about to speak, a voice spoke to his left. "Ace?" Ace turned to see Peter there, and Peter spoke again. "Do you need to see Boss?" Ace nodded, he really did. "Yes, could you show me?" He didn't want to risk walking wrong. Peter nodded and showed him the way to what should be Daisuke's office. But when they knocked, he blinked when he heard which voice said "come in." It was Benn. Peter opened the door and yes, there was Benn, sitting by Daisuke's desk. Which was sort of good, Ace wasn't in the mood for Daisuke anyway. Ace then gave a thanks to Peter, who left, and Ace closed the door so he could speak with Benn.

Ace moved and looked at Benn as he sat down on a chair on the other side of the desk.. "You're the boss?" Benn nodded. "I am. Shouldn't I be?" Ace took a breath. "I might be insane, but yesterday, things weren't like this." Benn looked interested. "Can you elaborate?" Ace nodded. "I wasn't captain of the Whitebeards, Bay was doctor, Thatch was head chef, Thatch and Izou were a thing, Daisuke ran this place, until two days ago- don't ask- Akainu was an admiral, Garp was vice admiral, Shanks was captain, you were his first mate, and I can go on and on." Benn blinked. "May I call Karen?" Ace blinked. "What? Who?" Benn looked concerned. "She is the doctor here. I know she is stern, but she is the best. She worked with Graham for years." Ace moved a hand to his head. "No. That she didn't. Bay did." Benn frowned in concern. "I will call her now." Benn then did, and said that this Karen should be here soon.

There was a polite knock a few minutes later and Benn gave a come in, and yes, Ace was insane. He expected a new person to come in, but this was Cioup, who no longer had the fire hair, but was completely blond, her hair tied in a bun on top of her head, wearing a medical coat, and very light makeup. Yep, Ace was insane, especially when he saw the expression she had, which was stern. In a way, her stance and look reminded him of Mihawk, which didn't fit Cioup. Cioup then gave a hello to him, before looking at Benn. "What am I needed for?" Benn hummed. "Ace has some issues. He seems to believe things should be different." Cioup looked over at him, and Ace started to explain how it should be.

When Ace had, Cioup blinked. "How sure are you of this? This isn't just a small delusion." Ace sighed. "This, the world I am in now, for me this is the first day in this world, it's not the world I know." Cioup blinked, before she did some tests, asking him to state some things, like who he was, his name and age, his brothers, date and time, and he got all that correct. Then some math questions, normal procedure. When she started to ask other questions about the world, who was what, Ace said all he knew, but it was all wrong. Apparently, Garp was a pirate and had been since he took Ace in after his mother's death. Trevor was woking around as an assassin, and when Ace asked about Mika, he was told she was still married to Cade, and was a Noble, which shocked him, and when he asked if she was evil, he learned here, the Nobles weren't bad, which was odd. Also Trevor was crushing on Mika, but couldn't do anything as she was married. And this wasn't the Red Cloud, but now called Green River, this was all wrong, so very wrong. When it was done, Cioup hummed. "You seem with yourself, you know who you are and where, which date, but that is it. How long did you live in this other world?" Ace took a breath. "Until today." Cioup blinked. "Are you sure?" Ace was.

Then a thought hit Ace. "I may have a way to prove it." Cioup nodded. "Okay." Ace hoped this worked. "Your name is not Karen where I am from." Cioup blinked. "What is it?" Ace hoped this would help prove something. "It is Cioup." Cioup blinked, before she grew pale. "W-what? How can you know that name?" Ace shrugged. "It is your name where I am from. You go by Cioup. And even there, Karen isn't your real name." Benn looked at Cioup. "What does that mean? Cube?"(AN: Cioup is pronounced like cube) Cioup looked shocked. "I was going to call myself that, not Karen. But… stuff. No one knows that name, beside me." Ace shook his head. "But I do, because that is the name you go by, not Karen." Cioup thought for a few seconds. "I can't deny that. Had it not been for Graham, I would have gone by Cioup. Also, spell it." Ace hummed. "C-i-o-u-p." Benn blinked. "That has to be wrong." Cioup shook her head. "No, it is not, it is correct. Don't ask why."

Ace nodded, now he felt he was getting somewhere. "As I said, that is your name. You didn't train with Graham, that was White Bay, who is head doctor on the Moby Dick. But now it is Thatch, who also has a buzz cut, not his usual hairstyle." Cioup hummed. "What kind of hairstyle should he have?" Ace sighed. "A pompadour. Like, at least at where I am from, his uncle, Theodor, had as well." Benn blinked. "He does have a pompadour. I saw him a month ago." Ace blinked. "What? No. He's dead, I killed him." Benn blinked. "No, you haven't. You don't usually kill, you do information and intel work." Ace blinked, this made no sense, before he had an idea how he could use this in his favor. "Have I ever had a run in with the Malasugi family?" Benn shook his head. "No." Ace nodded. "And when was the last time you saw my back?" Benn hummed. "Two months ago." Cioup spoke. "2 week ago, I had to check something." Ace nodded before he stood up, turned around, and lifted his shirt.

When he turned back as he let the shirt down, it was clear Cioup and Benn now believed him. Benn blinked. "How did you get here?" Ace shook his head as he sat down. "I don't know. I just woke up." Cioup nodded. "Did you go to bed yesterday?" Ace was on his way to answer yes, when he stopped as he thought. "No… I don't think so. I remember… we docked at an island, the island we are docked at right now… and that's it." Cioup nodded. "Okay, so maybe we should all go and visit this island, maybe someone is messing with you." Ace nodded, before he gave a breath. "We can, but I think Marco is very concerned for me." Benn looked at him. "I am concerned for you." Ace nodded. "I am as well. I am just trying to figure out if this is reality, or if what I think is reality. I feel like I have been or am going insane." Cioup nodded. "I get that, but we will figure this out." Ace nodded. "I hope so." Benn and Cioup seemed to get that.

Ace gave a breath. "Also, don't mention this to anyone, as I don't want to worry even more people." Benn and Cioup nodded, before they all left to the Moby with Ace's help. When they got there, Marco seemed worried to see Benn and Cioup and asked if everything was okay, to which Ace said yes, they were just here to check something on the island, which Marco accepted. Then they looked a bit around, but found nothing special, and to Ace, everything seemed odd. Ace did try his best to act normal, but he wasn't sure what normal was here, as Ace was the captain. Ace did try and keep away from the pirates, as he didn't want to worry them, he needed to try and figure out more before he would tell them the truth.

When evening came and Ace was in the bed in the captain's room, Ace felt out of place. Marco came soon after and asked if everything really was okay, to which Ace smiled and said "Yes, just a bit of an off day. Tired." Marco nodded. "Do you want me to ask Thatch for some sleeping meds, yoi?" Ace shook his head. "No, I think it is okay. Pills usually don't work well on me." Marco blinked. "But those we have does." Okay, that didn't fit, as usually they didn't have strong sleeping meds, but then again, here Thatch was the head doctor. Ace missed his home. And Marco looked off with the actual clothes and long hair. Everything here was off. He had also learned Izou hated makeup, and that Haruta really was all girly here. This place was… not home.

When the next day came, Ace woke up early as he didn't manage to sleep, and hoped when he woke he would be home, but no such luck, as when he woke, he was in the captain's room still, and nothing made sense. They then searched more around, and they found nothing. And the more Ace was around the pirates, even though it felt odd, it also felt… normal. Maybe he had gone insane and hallucinated years and years? Ace didn't know what he hoped for. Cioup also walked around with a real confidence, not shying away and not a fan of touch. Benn was very close to himself, maybe more of a short fuse than normal, but seemed to believe him, which was good.

When evening came again, Ace in bed and Marco getting ready, Ace spoke. "Marco, hypothetically, what if I forgot my entire life and remembered it different from a fever dream? And now I am sure I am going insane?" Marco looked at him worriedly. "I would have said we need to go to Thatch, yoi. That isn't good." Ace nodded, not speaking. Marco then came and sat down next to him, a hand moving to his leg. "Are you okay, yoi? For sure? You're still acting a bit off." Ace nodded. "I am good, just a bit… tired." Marco nodded, but didn't seem to truly believe it, which he got. Ace didn't like this place, and hoped tomorrow, he would wake up home, in the home he remembered. But if he didn't, tomorrow night, he needed to come clean to Marco.

Ace gave a breath as he woke up and looked around, still in the odd world. Marco had long hair, Ace was captain, and nothing made sense. They looked around more, and he could see Marco and Thatch speaking often, and Ace was sure it was about him, as Ace was sure he was acting not himself here. As they were looking around and had for some hours, the clock now 4pm, Marco came over to him as they were in a shop. "Ace, could you come to the infirmary, yoi? Thatch and I would like to speak with you." This was it, Ace was busted, and he would come clean now.

But as he was about to leave, Benn looking at him with concerned and troubled eyes, as Ace had lost it, he had to, he heard the shop owner of the store they were in speak to a worker who was fixing a cabinet. "Lorenz, could you hurry with the cabinet." This Lorenz seemed annoyed but nodded, before Lorenz went back to look at the cabinet and found out the issue was with the hinges as he said "I miss when Shanks was the captain of Red Haired Pirates and Akainu an admiral." Ace blinked. "What did you just say?" Lorenz shook his head. "No, I am sorry, I didn't mean that." Ace shook his head. "No no, please. Who is the captain of the Moby Dick and Whitebeard pirates?" Lorenz blinked.

Marco seemed more worried with that, "Ace-" Ace cut him off. "No! Who is it!" Lorenz gave a breath, looking at the cabinet. "Whitebeard is, he- wait no. I am sorry. You are." Ace shook his head. "No! I am not! What were you doing three days ago?" Marco seemed upset, and Ace could see Marco moving towards him, also now seeing Thatch here, Cioup with them, who might have told Thatch about everything. Lorenz blinked, looking at him. "I was a paramedic, as in I help around as a doctor on this island. Why-" Lorenz didn't stop speaking, but Ace couldn't hear it as his ears rang, before he felt like he was falling, now hearing his name being said, before he opened his eyes, no idea when he closed them.

Ace gave a groan, his head pounding, closing his eyes before he opened them again as everything was blurry. He blinked when he saw Lorenz by him, same with Marco, Trevor, and Cioup, who looked like she should. Lorenz smiled. "There you are. How are you feeling?" Ace felt confused. "Dizzy." Lorenz nodded. "Understandable. Can you tell me who the captain of the Moby Dick is?" Ace blinked, before he burst out laughing as he couldn't help it, feeling like he laughed like a maniac.

Marco moved to stand, everyone doing the same. They were in a shop right now, and they had just been speaking to someone who worked here about getting some new furniture for the meeting room. As they were up, Ace spoke as he walked, looking back at them. "We should get new chairs, the old-" Marco spoke. "Ace, look out!" Ace looked forward, just in time to see a cabinet door which opened by itself that hit Ace in the face and Ace was down. He was sure Ace would have been able to avoid that, or seen it coming, so this felt odd.

Marco ran over to Ace, who was out, but tried to rouse him, to no avail. Trevor and Cioup, who were close, came fast to help as well, but so did a stranger. The stranger looked at them. "My name is Lorenz, I am a paramedic, meaning I am a doctor that moves around the island if it is needed. His name is Ace, right?" That was good, they might need a doctor. "Yes, it is Ace, yoi." Lorenz nodded and did his best to wake Ace, many looking worried and some leaving to get Bay ready.

Marco felt worried but Ace seemed to come to again after a minute, and Lorenz smiled. "There you are. How are you feeling?" Ace seemed confused. "Dizzy." Lorenz nodded. "Understandable. Can you tell me who the captain of the Moby Dick is?" Ace blinked, before he burst out laughing like a maniac, which had Marco confused and worried. Trevor seemed the same as he said. "Infirmary, you're going to the infirmary." Ace laughed still but not as bad as he said. "Oh Lord, please tell me Bay is there. I want to see Bay." Trevor blinked and seemed more worried. "Why wouldn't she be there! You know what, forget it. Going now." Trevor then lifted Ace up and looked at Lorenz. "Thank you for your great help, but I feel something is wrong." Lorenz nodded. "No issue." Ace was still laughing as Trevor left, seeming to be out of Ace's control as he laughed.

Marco quickly followed after and they went to the infirmary, where Trevor updated Bay, who also seemed shocked Ace was hit by the cabinet door and was out, as it couldn't have been that hard of a hit. Bay checked Ace and after checking his eyes, she clicked her tongue. "You are fine, no concussion that I can detect. Why did you laugh? That didn't fit. And why wouldn't I be in the infirmary?" Ace hummed. "How long was I out?" Marco thought for a second. "Maybe a minute at most." Ace blinked. "Was sure it was longer. In my mind, I lived through 3 days. I woke up in the captain's room, not sure why, Marco beside me. Why was since I was the captain of the Moby as Whitebeard had retired to his home island to relax. And do you know who the head doctor was? I am not even going to let you try as you will fail. It was Thatch. And he didn't have the hairdo, he had a buzzcut. And he wasn't with Izou, and everything was wrong. "

Trevor blinked. "Thatch was head doctor? What was Bay?" Ace nodded a bit. "She was the head of fighting. Which makes sense as she can fight. But yeah. It was… not fun. Also," Ace looked at Marco. "You had long hair and wore actual clothes and shoes." Marco blinked. "I did, yoi?" Ace nodded. "Your hair reached down your shoulders." Marco blinked. "Odd." It was. Trevor then spoke. "And what about me?" Ace hummed. "You were crushing bad on Mika from what Benn told, who was leader of Green River, what the Red Cloud was called. And Mika was still with her ex-husband and a Noble with him, but not a bad one. It was odd, Nobles weren't as bad. And you-" Ace looked at Cioup. "You were head doctor of Green River, aka Red Cloud, and your name was Karen, not Cioup." Cioup blinked, before she gagged. "never. If I ever say that, shoot me and tell my parents I was possessed and there was no other way. Urgh. Karen?!" Ace hummed. "I have a feeling you don't like that name." CIoup nodded. "Met some… Karens, hate them. Why did I choose that name!" Ace shrugged. "Beats me, just glad I am back and everything is normal:" Trevor nodded. "I get that." Marco was glad Ace was okay.

Ace chuckled. "But you should have seen it. Izou hated makeup, was not a crossdresser, Haruta wore a pixie dress, Benn was leader of the Green River, Garp was pirate, Shanks was in Luffy's crew, Akainu was a pirate. No clue where Moira was. Glad I didn't meet Daisuke as I am still mad at him." Trevor blinked. "You need to tell me everything." Cioup nodded. "Me two." Marco hummed. "Me as well. This sounds… odd, yoi." Ace nodded. "It was, it felt so wrong. just as I woke up, you were about to take to the infirmary to have a chat with Thatch, aka head doctor." Marco hummed, "Wonder what would have happened at that chat, yoi." Ace sighed. "I would have been labeled insane, I am sure of it." Bay hummed. "Yes. Or at least treated like you'd be having a small to large psychotic break." Ace nodded, "I can agree with that. That world was… off." Marco got that, but it was all good now, and Ace was good. He couldn't wait to hear about everything that was odd in this place.
