Spidey Missing?
*The next day*
If you were Felicia hardy this morning, you most certainly wouldn't be in the greatest of moods. Last night Felicia got into a heated argument with her boyfriend and wasn't able to sleep well due to her mind racing about Peter mix with various emotions running through her body concerning him. The feeling of anger comes from the fact that Peter comments considering his change of behavior was harsh and leaving the way he did not help matters.
Then there was sadness for she genuinely worries about Peter since his new aggressive behavior isn't like him. Sure his new display of confidence, when he's just his self, became a major turn on, but lately, it developed into something worse. At first, she starts to blame herself for maybe being a bad influence on him. However, that wouldn't add up to his actions as of late.
Ultimately Felicia knows that something is wrong with Peter, the issue is he won't let her in and almost acts like he doesn't trust her which hurts even more. Felicia mind during her restless night took her back to when her father was around when she was younger and how despite her being mature for age Felicia's dad kept his other life from her which led to their relationship becoming strained in the past. Felicia already had to deal with abandonment from her father, the last thing she wants is to go through that again with Peter. Not that Felicia couldn't get any man that she wants, but with Peter, one could say that she is falling for him and cares too much just to let the relationship go without a fight.
"If Peter doesn't want to tell me what's going on fine, but there's no way I am going to sit back and not get answers myself," Felicia states out loud to herself before gaining some inner strength to get out of bed. She prepares her mind on the primary objective of confronting Peter and figure what the hell is going on with him.
After putting her attire on, Felicia makes her way to where more than likely Peter would be at currently. "I better go to the school and address him than, only this time I'm not taking no for an answer for they say curiosity kills the cat. Only this cat doesn't back down that easily."
Rushing over to the school Felicia tries to figure out in her head what to say to Peter when she finds him. "Should I let the claws out and force him to tell me or bring out the seductive charm? Wait he doesn't deserve any of sexual treatments from me after how he acted, though the bad girl in me somewhat found that hot. Get a grip Hardy, oblivious we need to be direct but remind him that we do care for him."
Ending the rational debate going on in her head, Felicia arrives at the school and walks towards the building scanning the area for her boyfriend. To her surprise, Felicia catches the familiar sight of Mary Jane walking like she's in a hurry.
"Yo Redhead where's Peter?!" Felicia calls out to her while running to catch up to Mary Jane.
M.J stops and looks over to see Felicia heading in her direction. "Well hello to you snow white."
Felicia glares and says, "Now is not the time, I need to talk to Peter as soon as possible. He and I got into an argument about his new change in personality, and he left me without explaining what's going. You and I know there is something wrong with him; however, he's not telling what's going on."
M.J process everything she just heard along with what was told to her earlier, and suddenly everything made sense. "That would explain Peter's mood this morning and maybe what happen before you got here."
"What do you mean by that?" Felicia questions her red-head friend feeling the curiosity side of her growing.
"This morning Peter came to school with a piss off expression, so I ask was everything alright, but he claims that he didn't get enough sleep. I tease that you probably kept him up and in return, he grunts yet didn't go into details. So to that point, I figure you lovebirds disagreed on something." Mary Jane thoroughly explains to Felicia causing a cross look to pop up on her face as she wonders, "Why is he upset at me, if anyone should be angry right now it's me."
"Okay, and what exactly went down before I came?" Felicia asks getting back on topic.
"Since we don't have the same first period together, I found out through a mutual classmate during that Peter went to the health office because he got sick I guess. I am actually on the way over there to check on him, and that's when you came into the scene." Mary Jane finishes her statement.
"In that case, count me in. Depending on how ill Peter is he's not getting out of explaining what's going on with him." Felicia states not wanting to waste any more time and gesture M.J to lead the way to the health office.
"He probably got sick from dealing with you." Both ladies stop after hearing an all to a familiar voice which turns out to be Liz Allen herself.
Felicia slight turns her head towards the cheerleader and growls, "Excuse me?"
Mary Jane groans in annoyance for she feels that this has to be worst timing ever for a Liz vs. Felicia standoff. "Liz this isn't the time for your games right now."
Liz brushes her hair back and scoffs saying in a so call innocent matter, "What game, I'm just speaking the truth. Maybe I should go check on Petey and remind him how a real woman takes care of her man."
Felicia's patience towards Peter's ex begins to wear thin for she is already emotional with dealing with her love life, now the girl who once dated her man is pretty much asking for a beat down at this point. "Are you trying to get your eyes scratch out of your eye socket? Regardless of me and Peter issues..."
Before she can say more, Mary Jane gently grabs Felicia's shoulder to stop her from saying anything that Liz could use for ammo later.
"Aww there's trouble in your relationship with Petey, now I see where his illness came from. In that case, it's only a matter of time until he realizes his mistake and allows me to be his cure and we become back the hot couple on campus." Liz laughs and walks away leaving a furious Felicia behind.
"Don't let Liz's words get to you for she's not worth the time or energy." Mary Jane suggests to Felicia sensing the thick tension in the air between the snow-hair princess and the cheerleader.
The red-head still doesn't get what Liz's angle is by making an enemy out of Peter's girlfriend. Sure the breakup between the two wasn't the best, but Liz ended up back with Flash while Peter found romance through Felicia when Gwen decided to stay with Harry. Speaking of Flash, she somewhat feels bad that Liz pretty much used him to get back at Peter although at the same time karma has its way of coming around.
"All I need is a room with only me and her in it so I can teach her not to come after what's mines," Felicia growls not liking any idea of that homewrecker trying to steal her boyfriend even with the problems they are having.
"While I do believe you can handle Liz physically with no problems, I need you to focus on figuring things out between you and Peter. Regardless of the rough patch you two are in, I can see that you and Peter have something special going on and in my opinion, it's worth fighting for, and that type bond can't break so easily."
Felicia glances and stares at Mary Jane in a way that makes the redhead slightly nervous that she might have overstepped herself. That is until Felicia next response shocks her as she says, "Now I can understand why you and Peter are close friends."
Felicia's comment throws Mary Jane off guard for that was the last thing she expected to hear considering they had a rough start during the intro phase. "Huh, what do you mean by that?"
"Let's just say giving time I hope maybe we can develop a close friendship as well considering I can use some in my life." Felicia sincerely smiles at M.J.
The reason for the sudden want for a closer friendship with Mary Jane compare to before is that Felicia truly believes that when it comes down to it, M.J is loyal and does her best to be there for her friends. A part of Felicia hates to admit but if she and Peter had never crossed paths this past summer more than likely him and Mary Jane could have ended up together over time. Thankfully she made her move on him when she did, yet she appreciates the fact that M.J respect and wants the best for their relationship.
Mary Jane grins back as she realized that this was Felicia way of acceptance into her life. "I would be open to that. Now come on; let's go see your man."
With that said, both ladies walk to the health office where the attendant greets them as they enter inside the front door. "Hello, we are here to see how Peter Parker is doing." Mary Jane requests.
"Ah, I'm afraid Mr. Parker has been sent home due to bad cramps he was suffering. He didn't fully show signs of the flu. However, Mr. Parker insists that he go home cause the cramps were excruciating." The attendant addresses the checkup in a calm but stern tone.
"Oh okay, well thank you for informing us." Mary Jane politely responds while Felicia was processing Peter's condition.
"What the hell that can't be the only thing that's going on with Peter. Yes, he's not immune to getting sick, but with his abilities from what I learn, Peter should be able to recover from something as simple as cramps." Felicia thinks to herself as she and Mary Jane exit the building.
Mary Jane looks over and predicts what Felicia is about to do next. "So I'm guessing you are going to his place now. I would come if I could, but you know me being a student and all."
Felicia shakes her head with a smirk and confirms her theory. "No need to explain, for it probably bests that we have our discussion in private anyway."
"Keep me posted if you can?"
"Will do." At this point, Mary Jane and Felicia shake hands with M.J sending a good luck message during the exchange. Afterward, Felicia rushes over to the Parker residence in hopes that Aunt May isn't home so she can deal with Peter personally. Not that she wouldn't want to see Aunt May for they slowly have gained a better relationship with each other after being introduced as Peter's girlfriend but knowing Peter he would think that Felicia set him up by involving is his aunt unnecessary. Thankfully Aunt May wasn't however when Felicia sneaks inside Peter's room by going through his window he's nowhere in his place or anywhere in the house.
"Where the hell are you Peter Parker?!" Felicia shouts in the empty room out of frustration of this wild goose chase she's in. Even though her anger, Felicia starts to understand that a lot of things concerning Peter are not making sense like why would he fake being sick to leave school plus the attitude change something is wrong with Peter, yet the question is what?
"I'm not going to get any answers by sitting here all day. Maybe the Black Cat will have a better chance?" With determination in her system, Felicia exits through the window and heads home to ready herself for patrol as her alter-ego.
*Somewhere in the city later that night*
"I told you for the last time, Marshall, I have made my decision. Now leave me alone!" A blonde woman yells out to a man following her from behind.
"Baby please, you know we are great together hell I could give you the same amount money if you would just leave your job." The man pleads in an intoxicated state.
The woman stops and turns to face him saying, "I'm not going to explain to you again you know why I can't just leave my job. If you don't leave me alone, I will call the police."
Right as she is about to walk off, the man who is the woman's ex-boyfriend grabs her arm aggressively and tells her, "You are not going anywhere," in a threating tone.
"Let go of me Mar..." Before the woman can continue, she gets cut off when her ex twists her arm muttering in her ear with his breath smelling like alcohol hitting her nostril, "If I can't have you by persuasion than I will have to make you come to your senses by force." The woman begins to panic until they both hear a loud thud of a figure landing on top of a car in from of them.
"Are you tone death of something because I'm sure the lady told you to let her go." The voice belongs to none other than Spider-man his self, who appears not to be in a friendly mood.
The man lets go of the woman harshly and focus his attention towards the vigilante. "Spider-man this has nothing to do with you!"
Spider-man pops his knuckles and rolls his neck in an intimidating matter. "Believe me when someone attempts to harm another person especially in the case of a man getting physical with a woman it becomes my business. Not to mention you look like you can't handle your liquor, so that makes it worse."
"Screw you; no one is going to take her from me especially the wall-crawling menace of the city." The man rage charges at Spider-man, who in return, jumps over him landing on his hands and proceeds to knock the drunk man out by pushing his hands and double drops kicks him to the car.
Spider-man follows up his attack by shooting a shot of webbing to trap him for the police. "For the record, I did that with my eyes closed." He claims cockily before going over to check on the woman he saved.
"Are you okay miss?" Spider-man helps her off the ground.
"Yes, thanks to you Spider-man. I most certainly don't think you are a bad guy like the media paints you out to me." The woman responds as thankful as she can while regaining her composure over her ex's actions just now.
Spider-man waves his hands mockingly in victory over the woman's comment about him. "Thank you, for once someone appreciates my OW!"
Out of nowhere, the woman witnesses her hero shout in pain and covering the side of his rib cages before rushing over to check on him. "Spider-man what's wrong?!"
"AH, the pain from before only this time my sides feel like Kraven trying to claw his way out of me from the inside AHHHH!" Spider-man screams as he suffers from the pain before passing out...

AN: After a long hiatus, after getting messages left and right on when the next update, I finally come back with an update for the most request story on my page. I honestly suffer from writing insecurity when it came to my writing in general because I take this seriously and don't want to give updates to do it. I'm slowly trying to get past that and get back into the writing game so with that said thank you all for the support over the years. I can't guarantee when the next update but I will say unless I say so this story is at no point being ending or quitted on so you don't have to message me about that.
So as you pretty much can tell this chapter is mostly center around Felicia for the idea of this story is not to just put all the spotlight on Peter but also remind the fans that Felicia is more than how she was used in the earlier comics. Thus the reason for developing the friendship between her and Mary Jane for again that's the one version of M.J that I like and the one who I wouldn't have minded seeing with Peter if the Series kept going. Also, Felicia needs some friends, so what better way to start than to have one who shares a mutual closeness with her boyfriend.
The Spider-man part, in the end, should now give yall idea of what's going on with Peter especially since it was done on tv before. That's my final hint until the reveal that will be coming up soon in the story. Also, I'm bringing a version Night Nurse from the old comics for a while I love Claire from the Marvel Netflix series I wanted to do my spin on the night nurse character for this universe, and while she will have a long term role no, she will not be a love interest for Peter so relax haha.
