Chapter 1: The Ice Princess Returns to Action
It's fascinating how life or destiny can change everything in an instant. It only takes seconds or minutes to alter the order that has been established for decades, years or in this case, months. We will focus on one of the known worlds. Alerts went off among certain specific people for a very dangerous news: Pyros had disappeared from his cell. They had not a single clue. Despite how alarming it was, some people decided to keep the news a secret in order to avoid mass panic. The cities of BubbleTucky and BlizzardTucky were still under repair and it was not wise to make the inhabitants panic. Many still had after-effects from the events that occurred in the battle. At this moment, we can see three people on top of very exotic and mysterious animals. While two of them rode ice horses, the other person used a Phoenix-style flaming bird. The three people advanced without wasting time in the middle of the frozen forest until they reached a hidden temple in the mountains. The three ones decided to leave their animals and they disappeared. It was a product of magic. The three guys, covered by their coats, decided to walk through the dangerous terrain and were entering the temple.
"Are you sure this is the place, sister?"
"Yes, this place began to manifest a strange magic different from ours. This must be the place" Two of the hooded figures turned out to be Lady Snow and Glacia, the leaders of BlizzardTucky and Molly's mentors. The third person removed her hood and revealed herself to be another female guppy.
"Alana, you haven't told anyone about this, right?" Glacia asked her.
"Don't worry about it. This mission is confidential, just as you requested" Alana answered calmly.
"And what about your brother?" Lady Snowa asked her.
"He doesn't suspect anything. Plus, he's at Zooli's house for a sleepover with the rest of the guppies. (giggles) He's getting used to going to sleepovers now that the vacations are here..." Alana chuckled a bit.
"Thank you for the discretion. People are not prepared to know about the incident. We must handle this carefully" Lady Snowa said calmly.
"What I don't understand is...How did this happen? Pyros was locked up without powers...How did he escape? And who did it?!" Glacia said confusedly. The three women walked through the apparently abandoned temple.
"Well, assuming someone did help him escape... Where is Pyros now? Besides, why would they need Pyros alive? I mean, Molly took care of shutting down his powers" Lady Snowa asked.
"I learned to never underestimate my father. He usually has tricks up his sleeve. Believe me, I knew 90% of his contingency plans. But still, there were things he didn't tell me. And I'm sure he didn't tell me if he had anything planned in case he was defeated" Alana explained her point.
"Well, well... But look who we have here... Three intruders in my sacred temple" A mysterious voice caught the attention of the three female guppies. Lady Snowa and Glacia prepared their ice magic while Alana prepared her fire magic to defend themselves from the mysterious subject. From the shadows appeared a mysterious hooded subject and his clothing was a black robe with purple and some flames. The subject simply took off his hood and showed himself to be an adult guppy a little old with wrinkles and bald. But he had a curious characteristic, he had black dots on his forehead made with ceremonial paint and he had lines on his bald head made of tattoos. He seemed to be a cultist or something like that "Greetings, Your Highnesses. But look who came to visit me. The Ice Queen, the Queen's Sister, and the Traitor Daughter of Lord Pyros... It is truly an honor, ladies" The subject bowed respectfully.
"I knew something was wrong here…" Lady Snowa said surprisedly.
"Zark….." Glacia said seriously.
"Great Sorcerer Zark to you...I did not dedicate years to the dark arts just to be called by my name" The old guppy answered.
"I don't care about any of these formalities, Zark! Tell us, were you the one who freed my father?! Where is he?!" Alana said angrily before summoning a flaming sword ready to force information out of him.
"Tsk Tsk…..Oh my, Alana... You seem stronger than ever. After all, you were always the best of the Sizzling Six and Pyros' favorite... Unfortunately, you could never defeat me. Do you really think you can now?" Zark commented sarcastically.
"Enough!" Alana got angry at him and attacked him without thinking or planning anything smarter.
"Stop, Alana!" Lady Snowa warned her. The evil guy simply smiled and summoned his weapon to block Alana's attack. Zark summoned his weapon of choice, a flaming scythe, and parried Alana's thrust.
"Grrrr!" Alana growled "Speak! Where is Pyros?!"
"Hahaha…..You really don't know? Pyros is out of reach. None of you will be able to find him. And you know what's best? Lord Pyros has slowly begun to regain his powers" Zark smirked.
"It can't be! How?!" Glacia asked him.
"My master has received outside help, you know? The best thing? It's not even help from this world... I was out of service for a long time, since I was part of the secret contingency plan. Pyros tasked me with supporting him in case he was defeated. And my role is just beginning" Zark decided to make a quick movement with his scythe to break Alana's guard and managed to push her away. At that moment, Zark extended his hand to the side of him and managed to summon a mysterious portal to escape "I still have many things to do to ensure my master's return. So I don't have time to finish you off... Well, at least I'll leave you a present from Lord Pyros. I hope you'll announce his inevitable return... Hahaha!" The Dark Sorcerer escaped thanks to the portal he created for himself. Before the women could do anything, a monster appeared in the form of a muscular and robust bull on fire.
"BRRRRRRRRR!" The monster snorted loudly ready to destroy them.
"Great, an Oxon…" Glacia prepared herself for the fight.
"This will be interesting. It's been a long time since I faced an Oxon" Alana smirked a bit.
"Here it comes!" Lady Snowa warned them.
The three women faced the flaming buffalo demon. Because all three were experts in combat and offensive magic, they were able to take it on without any problems. However, the Oxon had a reputation for being a very powerful creature, even for experienced warriors. The monster attacked with its wild attacks and flame-throwing breath, as well as trying to crush them with its hooves. Luckily, the warriors were able to prevail over the beast, as Glacia used some advanced cryogenic magic skills to finish it off. It seemed that her power as an ancient Ice Queen had not yet completely lost its power. After an extensive fight, the beast fell defeated next to the temple. The three adult guppies gathered together to discuss their recent discovery.
"Ugh! I should have guessed from the beginning! Zark was part of his plan all along" Alana said bothered.
"That's not the only thing that worries me...He mentioned that Pyros received help from...another world...Sister, does that mean that...?" Lady Snowa started to get worried.
"Yeah…..There is no doubt about that...It is possible "that" is real..." Glacia said seriously.
"Wait a minute...what are you two talking about? Do you know anything else?" Alana questioned them.
"There are secrets of the world that must be kept. That is part of the responsibility of the Ice Queen or Princess...But it seems that Pyros and Zark knew this secret...(sigh) Snowa, we have no other choice..." Glacia commented with a serious tone of voice.
"No, sister…Don't tell me that…." Lady Snowa knows what her sister is going to say.
"I'm sorry...But there is no alternative...(sigh) We need the Ice Princess to return to her duty...Molly must know this" Glacia said that before they started working on something extremely complicated, but important if they wanted to prevent Pyros from returning more dangerous than ever.
Several Days Later
"Molly….Molly!"
"Huh?!" A young guppy with brown skin and pink hair and blue fins opened her eyes and noticed that she was in a desolate place, as if she was on a battlefield. She noticed how many unrecognizable people were fighting each other. To her, the place was familiar. It was the ruins of her hometown. The impressive thing here was that she could see that her friends were there, fighting against unknown figures.
"What's going on here? Guys! Guys!" Molly tried to get their attention. But she noticed something strange. Her friends weren't listening to her and something else... They weren't alone. Each friend had an unknown silhouette fighting at their sides. But before Molly could do anything, she noticed a dark presence in front of her. It was the guy she had defeated some time ago.
"Y-You! P-Pyros?! What are you doing? You should be locked up" Molly asked him bothered and surprised. Pyros didn't open his mouth and just slowly moved forward as two unknown figures appeared. One on either side of Pyros. One was an adult guppy and the other was a younger guppy.
"I'll take care of that damn brunette, just like I took care of the other one" The young guppy smiled sinisterly and pulled out two knives and launched an attack on Molly.
"Oh no…You wont!" Molly reached out and managed to summon her ice sword to defend herself from the crazy girl who was using knives. For just using those weapons, she was fast and made the duel difficult for the Ice Princess. That's when she decided to push her away with a snow blow that pushed her away a little. Unfortunately, Pyros took the opportunity to throw a fireball at her that knocked her down "Aggghhh!"
"You've become weak, Princess. I think it's time to eliminate you once and for all" Pyros said preparing another magical fire attack.
"We agree" The mysterious guy standing next to Pyros pulled out a flashy gun and pointed it at Molly. And the girl with the knives prepared to attack the weakened princess. But at that moment, a mysterious guppy appeared and hit the girl with the knives in the face and knocked her down. It was at that moment that the guy shot them and Pyros as well. The hooded guy fell severely wounded and Molly approached them in fear.
"Are you okay? Why did you do it? I'm going to help you" Molly decided to remove the hood from the injured guy...And she saw something surprising. She saw an older version of herself..."WH-What?!"
"Molly…..I need your help….We need your help…..Save….Save us…."
"Help us. Save us. You are our only hope"
"Ahhhhhh!" Finally, Molly wakes up a little hurriedly after that strange experience. She took a deep breath and noticed that she was in her room. On the one hand, that calmed her down. But on the other hand, it had not been the only strange dream she had had
"(sigh) Gosh….Another dream like this? Pyros is back?...and I keep seeing an older version of myself...I hope it's nothing important...I mean, it wouldn't be the first time I see...a premonition…" Molly talked to herself, searching for some meaning in those dreams.
"Are you going to keep talking to yourself or are you going to finally get out of bed?" It was Mason, Molly's older brother, who was waiting for her at the door of her room.
"Ahhh….Mason! H-How How long were you there?" Molly asked him nervously.
"Mmmm I just wanted to see why you weren't up. It's almost noon. And since Mom and Dad are out, I'm in charge of you and Mia" Mason said proudly for his "mandatory" position.
"Oh yeah….whater- wait! What do you mean it's almost noon?! IT CAN'T BE! I'LL BE LATE FOR MY DATE WITH GILLY!" Molly panicked and started running quickly to take a shower, brush her hair, basically get ready as quickly as possible.
"Oh, that's too bad. The Ice Princess is going to be late for her date with her Prince Charming. Well, I guess I won't interrupt you. Just get back home before nightfall" Mason said funnily.
"Got it! But Im in a hurry!" Molly said as she prepared to meet the boy she loved. She said goodbye to her older brother and younger sister before heading off to meet up with him again.
Let's give you a little background. BubbleTucky was still working on repairs around the city since they triumphed in the battle against the Fire Lord. Despite the hard work, that didn't stop several families from enjoying their summer vacation. And that was just what our heroes took advantage of. Molly gained a reputation with her title of Ice Princess. Plus, she and her friends have the honor of being considered heroes for having stopped the evil forces of Pyros. But leaving that aside, they wanted to enjoy their lives as ordinary teenagers. And that was just what they wanted to do. After all, who wouldn't want to take a break after saving the world? And even more so, knowing that summer vacation was almost over. Now, we'll look at the park where our blue-haired protagonist was waiting for his beloved.
"Man….I hope Molly hasn't forgotten our date" It was Gil a bit nervous.
"I would never forget it, Gilly" She greeted him tenderly and approached him.
"Wow….You look pretty" He said with a smile.
"Don't exaggerate...I'm only wearing casual clothes" Molly said nervously, touching her own hair.
"I think you look beautiful in any type of clothing. Be it a dress, casual, battle dress, or even in pajamas" Gil said confidently. She playfully punched him on the shoulder as she blushed lightly.
"Silly Gilly" Molly replied before they both laughed. They both started their date with something simple: a walk in the park and then going to eat at a simple restaurant. Molly was already hungry. So they both ordered some simple dishes and both ate to their hearts' content. This moment was perfect for talking to each other about common and normal things.
"...Hehehe really? Where are the others?" Molly asked curiously.
"Each of them had personal plans. Either with their families or with each other...If you know what I mean" Gil smiled funnily.
"Hehehe yeah….I can't believe we've only been in a formal relationship for a short time...and it feels like it's been longer" Molly commented.
"Time goes by slowly when you are with the person you love hehehe..." The blue-haired boy said.
"Thats right….(sigh) Wow….I can't believe that summer vacation is almost over... School starts soon... And imagine that a few months ago we saved the world from a crazy guy with fire powers... And some time ago I discovered something that I had hidden inside me" Molly looked at her hand, noticing a slight cold feeling on her hand. Gil remained silent, watching her intently "Gilly, can I ask you something?"
"Sure…Go ahead" He responded with interest.
"Do you think Pyros has been defeated for good? I mean... he's still alive... I allowed him to live... even though he was locked away, but…" Molly was worried about this topic. Remembering her visions and dreams, and remembering about her forgiving his life.
"Hey….dont worry. That crazy guy was defeated. You made sure he wasn't a threat anymore, remember? You left him without his powers. Even if he could magically escape... What could he do without his powers? Oh! And if he did come back, I'm sure you could defeat him again... or rather... we could. You shouldn't worry about that" Gil comforted her touching her shoulder. She just smiled at him. He made her feel like she didn't have to worry about anything.
"Hehe…Youre right, Gilly….Thanks…." They both decided to give each other a soft, short kiss on the lips and separated a little.
It wasn't long before the two of them left the restaurant and walked together holding hands. He insisted on walking her home, but Molly refused, saying that she would be fine and she shouldn't worry. Gil respected that and they both concluded their simple yet beautiful date with a kiss on the lips. On the way home, Molly noticed someone standing in front of her. She thought about defending herself until she identified the person.
"Greetings, Your Highness. I'm sorry to appear before you so suddenly... But we need to talk"
"Oh! Miss Glacia! I'm so glad to see you... But... why do I have the feeling that you have come with worrying news?" Molly asked her.
"Unfortunately, you are not wrong. Molly, I am afraid I have some unpleasant news for you... Pyros has escaped from prison... and we fear his possible return... We are sure he will regain his powers…" Glacia presented the new situation. That news hit her like cold water. She stood paralyzed for a few seconds, unable to speak.
"N-N-No…It-It cant be…How did he escape? And how did he get his powers back? I made sure to extinguish his inner flame permanently" Molly refused the idea of Pyros return.
"I have the same questions. But we have been able to confirm something. He received help from another place. From a place outside the "natural" reach. We think that he received help... from another world…" Glacia explained the situation.
"From another world? Don't tell me it has something to do with space and aliens...because at this point I wouldn't be surprised" Molly raised her eyebrow.
"I was referring more to it as "another alternative world" A dimension unknown to us…" Glacia answered her. and she notices Mollys facial expression "Tell me, Molly...Have you had any dreams or visions lately?" That question surprised our protagonist.
"A-A-Actually….Yes….I've had strange visions about another battle with Pyros...in a familiar place, but at the same time it was different...and also...I saw a version of myself...an older one" Molly answered confusedly. Glacia was thoughtful when she heard her pupil.
"So... that has awakened" She said thoughtfully.
"What do you mean?"
"You see... The Ice Princess is developing powers and gaining new knowledge as the years go by. And one such common ability is that connection. Sometimes, it is possible to feel premonitions not of one's own, but of someone else. More precisely of someone close to you, but from another world. Your Ice Princess power is connecting with someone from another reality... It seems that in your case, it is possible that we are talking about another Molly from another world…" Glacia explained her.
"Another world? Another me?" She was more confused "That "Molly" was asking me help"
"These visions...plus Pyros' escape...and other clues have led me to this conclusion: Pyros is in another world, plotting his return and revenge...Molly, I hate to ask you this but...We need you, the Ice Princess, to return to action. You must train to regain your fitness and embark on a dangerous new mission. I don't want to ask you this, but the fate of our world, and the other's, is at mortal risk...and only you can do something about it" Glacia explained the situation. Deep down, Molly didn't want to get involved in another risky adventure where she or someone she loved would get hurt or worse. But she knew that her power and role was a great responsibility. And she didn't want anyone to suffer because of Pyros. So she agreed.
"Alright….When we started?" Molly asked confidently.
"We'll start tomorrow...Oh, and this is important...Don't tell any of this to your friends...I need you to concentrate and keep it a secret between us...We don't want to create panic" Glacia ordered.
"My lips are sealed, Miss Glacia" Molly said confidently. It seems it was time for her to regain her status as a magical warrior with mastery of ice magic.
From that day on, Molly began meeting with Glacia to regain her warrior status. She hadn't had to use her powers seriously since the battle against Pyros. Luckily, it didn't take her long to get back to practicing the simple and advanced techniques she learned in her last adventure. And she even managed to learn a few new tricks. She handled all of this discreetly, without telling anyone about what she was doing in secret. A few days later, the big day arrived: The mission. Molly packed a backpack with supplies, ready for the new mission of her life. She went with Glacia to BlizzardTucky, where she was equipped with new accessories, some weapons and more supplies. Then, both decided to go to a mysterious cave several kilometers from BlizzardTucky. In that cave, abandoned for millennia, there were some catacombs and ancient runes. After walking for hours, they arrived where there was a mysterious arch with runes and mysterious symbols.
"Where are we?" Molly asked.
"This is an ancient rune that connects to other worlds. This ancient artifact allows you to go to worlds that are inaccessible by conventional methods. Thanks to years of research, I have managed to handle unknown coordinates and this is ready to take you to the world where Pyros is hiding. This artifact works with the magic of the Ice Princess. That is why I needed you to regain your status. I will open this portal and your mission will be to investigate Pyros' whereabouts. If possible, bring him back here. Do you think you are ready for this, your highness?" Glacia explained the new instructions. Molly sighed a bit, thinking about her family and friends.
"(sigh) Im ready….I would like to be able to say goodbye to my loved ones in case I don't return. I know that when it comes to Pyros it is a huge risk. But...here we are...I just want to see them before I leave" Molly said quietly.
"Well, if you want to see us so much…"
"Huh?!" Molly heard familiar voices. She turned around and noticed the presence of many people. But let's highlight the Bubble Guppies. They had all come with her.
"Guys! What are you doing here? Did you come to... say goodbye to me?" Molly was surprised.
"Say goodbye to you? Of course not...We'll go with you!" Gil said confidently.
"WHAT?! Oh no….This is a mission that was entrusted to me" Molly said nervously.
"Well….Yes and No…" Lady Snowa appeared… "They will go with you"
"If you think you're going to go into an unknown world without friends or reinforcements... you're crazy, my friend!" Deema said happily.
"We are a team...Obviously we will go with you" Goby added.
"But…I don't get it" She didn't understand.
"Did you really think you would go alone? I trained you separately so you could concentrate properly. While my sister and Attica trained your friends. Molly, you are powerful, but I learned that you are more powerful with your friends around. They are the key to your victory" Glacia explained.
"Please do not forget that unity is strength" Nonny reminded her.
"Together we defeated Pyros and his forces...and we will do it again" Oona added.
"I wasn't thinking of letting you go alone at any time" Zooli said.
"I will definitely go. You will need my help if we want to defeat my father" Cryo said seriously.
"What do you say, Molly? A new adventure together?" Gil extended his hand. She just smiled and took his hand.
"A new adventure together….Together as the Bubble Guppies!" The 8 young guppies put their hands in the center as a gesture of unity. They simply received applause from the others. They were friends, family and allies who were in the previous battle. Before the guppies began their new journey, they began to say goodbye to their acquaintances, family and other friends. For now we will only focus on some of them.
"I don't want you to go again, Molly!" Mia hugged her.
"I don't want to leave either...But if I don't, that bad man Pyros will come back and we don't want that to happen...I'll be back as soon as I can..." Molly hugged her. She turned to look at her older brother.
"Take care of yourself, sister. If something happens to you, I won't forgive you" He said funnily, although he said it with concern and hugged her.
"Ill be back in one piece….I hope hehe" Molly chuckled.
"Don't make such jokes. Anyway...Be careful with that pyromaniac guy and...don't be stubborn and listen to your boyfriend and your friends" He advised her.
"Noted" She smiled. Now with other characters.
"Take care of yourself, Nonny" It was Nelly, her "adopted" sister.
"Ill be good…" Nonny answered calmly.
"Take care of yourself, little sister" Kiko, Oonas older sister bowed.
"Ill, sis!" Oona bowed to her too.
"Hey...take care of my little sister, okay?" Kiko winked at him.
"Ouh..S-Sure…" Nonny answered with a small blush.
"Hey, are you sure you're not coming with us? You'd be very useful on the mission" Cryo asked her older sister Alana.
"As much as I'd like to kick our father's ass, I have another mission here. Lady Snowa, Glacia and I will prepare a line of defense around here in case our father plots to return. We're a contingency plan so to speak. But, I trust you, you're stronger than you think" Alana touched her shoulder.
"Thanks, sis" The fire and ice guppy expressed his gratitude.
"Hey, Zooli….I ask you to take care of my little brother. Or for him to take care of you. Whichever comes first" Alana joked a bit.
"Oh yeah? Well…I promise you that we will watch each other's backs. I can guarantee that" Zooli smiled.
After many goodbyes, the 8 Bubble Guppies finally met up with Glacia. She was the one who would give them instructions. The guppies were carrying supplies and their weapons.
"Very well. This will be a very dangerous journey. You will go to a completely unknown world. The only thing we know is that Pyros is there and he is slowly regaining his power. The mission will be to find him and bring him here. We must take advantage of the fact that he is not so powerful yet. This arch will be activated by my magic and will open a portal to that world. When you return, Molly will have to use this" Glacia gives Molly a necklace with a peculiar design resembling a shell that glows blue "This necklace will open a portable portal back to this world whenever and wherever you want. But I warn you, it only works for one trip, since Molly will have to use her magic. And when she uses it, it will temporarily leave her powerless. Therefore, use the portal wisely. So... are you ready?" Molly looked at her friends and the other guppies looked at each other and nodded.
"We are ready!" All the 8 guppies expressed.
"Good….Here we go" Glacia began to charge ancestral magic to recharge the ancestral arch so that it would activate the portal. Under the arch, a dark blue portal began to form. The guppies looked at the portal in amazement. Molly took a few steps forward a little nervously, but Gil stood beside her and took her hand to reassure her. She looked at him and smiled. They both decided to enter the portal, hand in hand.
"Together…." Molly said.
"...Until the End…" Gil finished her sentence and both of them entered into the portal.
"Hey, wait for us! I want to come in!" Deema ran after them and entered the portal.
"Wait, Deema! Not so fast!" Goby entered behind her, Oona, Nonny, Zooli and Cryo just saw each other and decided to enter together. They began their mission to save their world and even save another world. None of them knew what could be waiting for them on the other side of the portal.
"Bubble Guppies…..Save our worlds…." Lady Snowa said quietly. This would be the beginning of an unimaginable adventure.
