Red Rain- Nice to see your first review! DC elimination style is peak even if marshmallows are iconic. I'm glad Amy's elim was satisfying, because a character like her needs an exit that is horrible for them. I love how many reviewers put Tammy in the pleasant surprise, I bet everyone expected her to be an early boot

decoy73- Fair enough on the team colors, I just found those colors to be bland and I didn't feel like using them. Red was randomly very strong despite the team not looking to be that way, it mostly happened since I didn't know how to execute their first elim for a while since Max got changed to stay longer.

Johnathan1209- I responded to a lot of this in dms, but I'll add some more. Good shout on Nichelle for MVP strategy wise, when you break it down it makes sense. Everyone slandering Rodney is iconic

Recap

"Last time on Total Drama Ultimate… Brick was called out for his constant flipping. Chase was getting some lessons on how to be a better person from DUNCAN of all people! When you turn to Duncan for help, you know there are problems. Jo nearly had her advantage get found AGAIN! The Cyan Team focused on their past. In the challenge, the campers had to recall trivia from all the previous seasons. In a twist, four campers were sent home. On the Pink Team, Jasmine and Zoey were eliminated after Mary rallied the troops against their alliance with Sammy. On the Purple Team, Chet's paranoia of Sanders catching on to Operation: TYTO was her demise. And on the Gray Team, a power struggle between Heather and Sugar resulted in Jacques having to choose a side. He chose Sugar, sending our favorite queen bee home. Three winners down, and only 54 remain! What will happen in this new phase? What new friendships and rivalries will form? Find out on this brand new episode of Total Drama Ultimate!"

Intro

Day 41

We cut to an open field

The Red, Blue, Green, Orange, Yellow, Lime, and Cyan teams walk in for the final time and step onto their mats. The Pink Team walks in. "Getting your last look at the Pink Team… Jasmine AND Zoey were voted out at the last elimination."

Needless to say, that duo being the eliminated twosome is not what anyone expected. Those two are big names, after all. Shawn in particular looks hurt by this. In a shocking moment of empathy, Alejandro puts a hand on his shoulder. "Sorry that she's gone…"

Confessional: Shawn

"She- she's gone? Already? Aw man, how could that have happened? I feel really bad too, because I lied about the Forgiveness Alliance and now she's gone."

Confessional: Nichelle

"Can I confess something? Wait, this is a confessional, of course I can! I'm a teensy bit happy about this. Shawn and I have been thick as thieves, but obviously he would prioritize Jasmine if it came down to it. Now I'm likely to stay as his #1 ally."

The Purple Team walks in. "Getting your last look at the new Purple Team… Sanders voted out at the last elimination."

Two people are VERY happy about this, that being Jacques and Josee. The duo are hollering and running around. Josee sees that Shawn is still sad about Jasmine's boot and manages to stop herself.

"Basic manners, Josee… I can celebrate alone later… like right now!" she says before doing a happy dance.

"Those filthy cadets should've been gone a long time ago! I'm glad at least one of them is gone, hopefully Big MacArthur goes next!"

Last but not least, the Gray Team walk in. "Getting your last look at the new Gray Team… Heather voted out at the last elimination."

A chorus of gasps rings out. Alejandro and Shawn exchange a glance, both feeling the same blow from these group of eliminations. Duncan grimaces as he notices who else got eliminated.

Confessional: Alejandro

"How did Heather get eliminated?!" Alejandro asks in worry.

"I think I may be regretting targeting Heather. Heather, Sanders, AND Zoey were all voted out. That's three winners, now the remaining ones stand out even more as threats. And about Zoey going in particular, a potential ally or friend going right before a swap is terrible timing.

"Alright everyone, you know what you're here for. For 20 rounds, you all competed together. Every moment at camp was spent with those who are standing with you on your mat right now. But as you know, the game is about to change. Everyone drop your buffs!" Chris says. Everyone takes off their colored buffs that have conveniently not been mentioned until now. Chris holds a big urn. "There are 6 different colored buffs in this urn. 9 people will be on each team. "

Wayne laughs.

"Wayne, refrain from making noise for the rest of your life. Anyways, all the buffs are wrapped up. Once everyone is holding the packaging, I'll tell you to unwrap it and then you will step on whichever team you're assigned to." Chris gestures to six new mats that Chef rolled out. "Are we ready?"

"No." Noah replies.

"...Noah, also refrain from making noise for the rest of your life." Chris glares before Chet grabs the urn and goes by each team mat. One by one, everyone picks a buff out of the urn. Some people look relieved to be swapping, while some look nervous at who they'll be teamed up with. "Alright, everyone has a buff. Reveal!"

Everyone looks at the buffs in their hands as they move to their team mats. Chris and Chef look at the teams with a smile. We cut to a team on a red mat. "Alright, let's get our first look at who's on the Ruby Team!"

I don't trust those."

Raj takes a deep breath. "No Emma, Wayne, or Bowie… for the first time, I'll truly have to compete on my own. I hope I can take what Bowie taught me in the past day to do well for myself!"

Mary starts chuckling. "Uncontrollable variables like a swap would usually anger me, but it worked out!"

Anyways, your bags will be given to you though, so all advantages and belongings will be intact. Each camp has a newly hidden idol, so keep that in mind. I'll see you tomorrow for your first challenge in these new teams!"

Cut to Ruby Team

We see the Ruby Team at camp. Dawn gets a conversation going. "Hello everyone, it's nice to meet you all!"

"Nice to meet you too!" Tyler warmly responds.

"Of course it's nice to meet me, I'm Sugar!" Sugar points to herself proudly. Josee rolls her eyes.

"I hope we can all get along." Cody smiles. Alejandro and Josee exchange a glance.

"Oh no… it's going to be one of THOSE teams. Josee and I do not fit in."

"We should probably start setting up camp before night." Tyler says. Everyone is in agreement, and they split up to do varying tasks.

…

After a fifteen minute time skip, we see Raj and Tyler working on building a fire. The duo aren't alone though, as Josee walks up to them. The jocks look up to her with annoyed looks on their faces. Josee notices this and gives a nervous chuckle. "Hey guys…"

"Why do you want to talk?" Tyler questions. "Didn't you say no one cares about me without Lindsay? She isn't here."

Josee gives another awkward laugh. "Oh… so there are hard feelings. I'll have you know that I was just trying to get my team the win, I didn't mean anything I said."

"You didn't seem to have any remorse until now when it's convenient to apologize." Tyler glares. "Go away."

Josee groans before walking off.

Confessional: Josee

"Uh oh…"

"I'm surprised you told her off." Raj laughs while striking the flint.

"She was probably just going to offer some fake alliance to save herself, she has to know she's a target." Tyler has a bitter look.

"True!" Raj agrees. "Anyways, it's cool to meet you!"

Tyler looks a bit surprised. "Really?"

"Of course, you were my favorite in your seasons!" Raj replies.

Tyler looks even more shocked. "I thought I didn't have that many fans…"

"Why wouldn't you? You love sports, just like I do. I think we could be really good friends." Raj states.

"I'd like that." Tyler grins.

"Cody is from my old team, but we only worked together in the last vote. Making some new friends would be ideal, I didn't like the general loneliness once Beth and Lindsay were kicked off. Hearing that Raj liked watching me makes me happy!"

"Tyler is so underrated, being on his team will be so cool!"

We see Dawn talking to B in the forest. "It's a good thing that we're on the same team, huh?" Dawn makes conversation. B gives a thumbs up. "I'm sad Zeke isn't here though."

B shrugs as a 'well, what can you do?' type response. Dawn frowns.

"Can I ask you something?"

B nods.

"Were you the one who voted for Millie?"

B shakes his head, and Dawn just sighs.

Confessional: Dawn

"Maybe it was Ezekiel?" Dawn questions out loud before shaking her head. "No… I just don't believe it."

B has an annoyed look at Dawn's question.

Elsewhere, we see Cody trying to climb a tree to reach an apple. He isn't having any success though. "Oh barbecue sauce! I can't reach, damn my twig arms." Cody complains. Lightning runs over to the smaller boy and laughs.

"Come on, you can't climb that tree?" Lightning questions.

"Evidently not." Cody rolls his eyes.

"Let the Lightning be your hero!" Lightning flexes before effortlessly climbing up the tree. He picks off a few apples and throws them down to Cody, who by some miracle doesn't drop one on the ground. Lightning grabs some apples himself before jumping down. He hands them to Cody before kissing his bicep. "Sha-BAM!"

Cody, who was watching Lightning intently, gives his signature gap tooth smile. "Wow, that was amazing strength! How did you do it?"

"I go to the gym." Lightning replies proudly.

"Wow, I've never stepped inside one…"

"I can tell."

There is an awkward silence before Cody starts laughing awkwardly. "Yeah, I guess you can… maybe I should try that when I get home. I can't pick up many weights."

"You DO need to work on that, you're so tiny that I can use you as a dumbbell." Lightning comments on Cody's small appearance.

Cody scoffs, trying to sound dismissive. "I'd like to see you try, I'm not THAT small-" Cody says before getting interrupted. Lightning picks Cody up and presses him up and down. Cody begins screaming at being lifted in the air. "PUT ME DOWN!"

Lightning obliges. "You also need to work on that, you weren't that high in the air!"

"If there's a chance to show my strength, I'm gonna take it!"

"Well, I guess Lightning isn't as unapproachable as I thought. He approached me, but you get the point."

Cut to Sapphire Team

We see Justin and MacArthur talking. "It's nice to see you again after we worked together on that cross team vote." Justin says. MacArthur nods in agreement. "Unfortunately though, Jen is still around, but I would like to change that. Would you be up for voting her out?"

"You bet I would!" MacArthur replies enthusiastically. They shake hands.

"Jen could end up being a big problem for me, I'm trying to get the numbers to take her out before she can do the same to me."

"I don't really trust anyone after what happened at the last vote, but if someone is presenting a target, I won't fight them on it."

Elsewhere, we see DJ, Jen, and Millie. "So, then he broke apart our team at the elimination ceremony. Is that the type of person you'd want to have around?" Jen questions as she finishes explaining the events of Tom's elimination days ago.

"You had multiple alliances and didn't work with him all game, and you're mad that he worked against you?" DJ asks.

"Uh, yes! Team loyalty is important… or maybe I am just salty because he took out Tom in particular, but who knows?" Jen shrugs.

"Well… we are sure to keep that in mind!" Millie assures.

"Thanks."

"I'm entering my slaughtering people with the bus era!"

"Jen and Justin have been beefing since we got here… I hope that's the only drama that stems from this team."

Elsewhere, Chase walks up to Emma.

"I-"

"No." Emma cuts off right away.

"You didn't even let me speak!" Chase replies.

"I don't need to let you speak, you'll probably say something stupid." Emma crosses her arms.

"Can you please just give me a chance to talk?"

Emma gives a ten second groan before stomping her foot, annoyed at herself for what she's about to say. "Fine, what do you need?"

Chase lights up at the chance to speak. "I'm…"

"You're?"

"I'm…"

"You're what?"

"S- s- s- s- s- s- s- s- s- s- s- s-"

Emma walks away, tired of waiting for Chase to talk. Chase gives a dejected sigh as Kitty walks up to him. "What were you doing?"

"I was trying to a- a- apol…" Chase tries to get out before he can't talk anymore.

"Are you sick? Want me to call the doctor?" Kitty asks.

"No!"

Confessional: Kitty

"I need to make sure Chase isn't up to anything, I can't have him be a distraction. But that whole situation aside, I'm going to try and make some new friends on this team! I know my sister will probably kill me for thinking about friends right now, but still."

"I couldn't get the words out about the car thing…"

We see Emma after walking away. She is alone… but say it with me, 'she isn't alone for long' as Wayne walks up to her. "Hey Em!" he greets as he stands next to her. He notices a sour look on her face. "You look upset, what happened?"

"I think Chase pulled a prank on me. He said he needed to tell me something, then he just stuttered for a while. I'm kind of confused." Emma replies while shaking her head.

"Why does he still try to talk to you, hasn't it been years since you've been together?" Wayne questions.

"I KNOW RIGHT!" Emma yells out. She takes a few deep breaths before pushing Chase to the back of her mind. "We don't need to focus on him, let's focus on the now. How are you? I'm glad we're on the same team!"

"For sure! It feels like it's been YEARS since we've been on a team together!" Wayne agrees.

"...that's because it has been years."

"Oh, right!" Wayne facepalms. Emma just laughs in response. "How were things on your team? I wasn't really clued in."

"Bowie, Raj, and I did alright, so you don't have to worry about them." Emma answers. "How about you?"

"I didn't get any votes against me." Wayne replies, seeming happy that his only vote in his total drama career was on his first episode.

"Makes sense, who would want to vote for you?" Emma replies.

"Thanks." Wayne smiles.

There is a bit of silence as Emma takes a deep breath. "Anyways, I have a question."

"What is it? If it's math, I can't help you there."

"No. Want to talk about hockey?"

Wayne's eyes light up.

Confessional: Emma23

"The past few days have been a great learning experience about hockey, thanks Raj! I may or may not have messed up a few details in our conversation, but I was trying."

"Since when did Emma know about hockey? That's so cool, the people on Lime Team would get confused whenever I'd make a hockey joke… except Sierra, she knows everything about the Snow Owls since she is a superfan because of Total Drama."

"Hi!" Harold greets as he approaches Junior in the forest.

"Hey." Junior replies dryly.

"Want to hear a cool statistic?"

"Uh-"

"You're one of the five total drama contestants to wear a backwards hat, and one of the three to wear one with a red color" Harold informs.

"Cool…" Junior says sarcastically.

"Did you also know that you're the contestant with the thickest eyebrows?"

"I had no idea." Junior stares into the camera, furrowing his comically large eyebrows.

"How do you feel knowing that you and your dad are one of the only two full RR duos standing?" Harold asks.

"It's great, but a little shocking if I'm being honest. I didn't expect my dad to make it this far, let alone be one of the final three remaining members of a team." Junior answers.

"Good answer."

"Yeah."

"Junior's a good kid, I thoroughly enjoyed our conversation. I'm trying to get some allies in order to eliminate… you know who."

We see Harold walking away. As he walks away, Nichelle walks by. Junior looks at her nervously.

"Ok, I have a confession to make… I'm actually a big Nichelle Ladonna fan, I like a lot of her movies. Dad says she's overrated, but I disagree. It's kind of intimidating being on the same team as one of your favorite Hollywood stars."

Elsewhere, we see Duncan and Axel together in the woods. "So…" Duncan starts awkwardly. Axel has her hands on her hips, waiting for Duncan to begin the inevitable discussion regarding Heather's exit. "There aren't any hard feelings about Heather's elimination, are there?"

Axel scoffs. "Why would there be?"

"Because you and Heather seemed close." Duncan states.

"Well, I'm not bitter." Axel replies.

Duncan raises his unibrow. "Alright then." he says before going to walk off. Axel puts her foot in front of him, causing him to trip and fall into the dirt. "Hey!"

"Just kidding!" Axel sneers before walking off herself. Duncan grimaces.

Elsewhere, we see the duo of Sammy and Shawn. Sammy hugs Shawn right away. "You have no idea how lucky I was to survive the last elimination." she says.

After Sammy pulls away, Shawn gulps. "Can you explain what happened… and how Jasmine got eliminated?"

Sammy frowns. "Mary, Sky, Izzy, and Scarlett had an alliance against Jasmine, Zoey, and I. They voted out Jasmine, and they were targeting me next. I had to vote for Zoey to save myself." she explains. Shawn shakes his head in disappointment.

"I just feel horrible that she's gone already…"

"I feel the same way, I wish I could've done more on the team. But this phase is a new beginning at least, and I already know who I want to target."

"And who would that be?"

"Duncan." Sammy replies instantly. "I won't forget how he somehow decided that Amy was a good partner to have, or how he helped her fight me in a few of the challenges."

Shawn nods in understanding. "Yeah, I get it. We can vote him out."

"So now I know how Jasmine got eliminated… but hearing the reasoning for Zoey's was also interesting, now I know Sammy is capable of betraying her friends like that." Shawn notes. "That wouldn't bode well if zombies showed up. Anyways, I'll probably go along with Duncan going."

We see Tammy working on a fire in the camp. Leshawna walks up to her. "Hey girl, how are you?" she greets.

Tammy looks a bit taken aback, not expecting anyone to speak to her while she's working on the fire. "Hi, I'm doing fine. Just trying to start a fire."

There's a bit of silence. "So… how has this game been going for you? Your team lost a lot. No offense, but I'm shocked you survived seven eliminations." Leshawna states.

"I feel like I should be offended, but you're honestly not wrong." Tammy gives a small laugh. "It's been rough, but I'm not sure if this new team is going to go any better."

"Why do you think that? Anything is better than losing over and over." Leshawna replies.

"You're right, but I'm kind of worried about fitting in or being seen as useless just because of my previous team." Tammy admits.

"Just don't do any magic and you'll be good." Leshawna says.

"I haven't tried magic in weeks, you won't have to worry about that." Tammy responds.

Leshawna chuckles. "Well, that's good to hear."

"That boosted my confidence a little. Leshawna doesn't seem like the type to needlessly be rude to others." Tammy says. Thankfully for her, the TDA controversies Leshawna was in slipped her mind.

We see the former Red Team trio of Bridgette, Courtney, and Brick talking. "So, I know you guys may not have a 100% favorable opinion of me…" Brick starts with a bit of hesitation. "But we are all from the same team, we spent 41 days together and I hope that counts for something. I want the three of us to work together, and I promise I won't betray either of you."

Bridgette and Courtney exchange a hesitant glance. Courtney is the first to speak. "Well… I guess I can give you a second chance. We might need to stick together anyway."

"Agreed." Bridgette nods. "But we need two more people here to have a majority. Who do you think we can get?"

"I have an idea!" Courtney smirks.

"What is it?" Bridgette inquires.

"Crimson seems insanely passive." Courtney states. "I feel like she could be an easy vote to get on our side."

Bridgette smiles. "Good thinking, Courtney!"

"I know. But that isn't enough. Our other options are Dwayne, MK, Scarlett, Jo, and Chet." Courtney lists off. "I would suggest Dwayne for the same reason as Crimson, but the chances are that he is working with MK already."

"Couldn't we get both of them at once though?" Brick questions.

"MK would convince him to flip against us, she's too smart. Scarlett is a no for obvious reasons. So, it's between Jo and Chet."

"Didn't you and Jo compete in the same season?" Bridgette asks Brick. "Do you think you can form an alliance with her?"

Brick looks like he's about to say something, but he can only get a disappointed groan. "I… I don't know."

Courtney rolls her eyes, not liking the hesitancy in Brick's tone. "Come on, she's not that scary! We can just lead her on into thinking she's the leader, then we can cut her when she's no longer needed. She was easy to eliminate in All Stars."

Brick still looks unconvinced. "We don't have the best history."

"Then maybe we could go for Chet." Bridgette suggests.

"He DOES seem dumb." Courtney admits.

"Working with Jo WOULD be a big no- haha, that rhymed! Well, maybe 'a big no' is an exaggeration, but I'll need to see how she acts now."

Elsewhere, we see Chet and MK. "Good thing we got swapped together." MK chuckles in relief. "Now we can talk without looking suspicious."

"True that!" Chet nods. "How are you and Dwayne?"

"He saved me last elimination, so we're a duo. We can add him to Operation: TYTO, but we'll need some more people." MK replies.

"Well, it can't be any of the old red team members, they're probably a trio themselves. No way am I working with Crimson, she's a former Yellow Team member and she'll be our first target! So, we need Jo and Scarlett." Chet states.

MK shrugs. "I guess I can talk to Scarlett. Attempted murder aside, we're kinda similar. I'd love to hack the government with her!"

Chet coughs and points to a cameraman. MK looks at the camera and kicks it, causing it to break on the ground. "Not letting anyone hear that." The cameraman runs away after that, causing MK to gain a devious smirk as she watches the man run. Bridgette witnesses this from behind a bush as she wanted to go talk to Chet.

MK has a look of deep thought. "Huh, the gears are turning… I might have an idea."

We see Crimson sitting alone, a favorite pastime of hers. But as usual, someone must come in and interrupt the loneliness for content, so in comes Courtney. "Hi."

"We're forming an alliance, is that okay?"

We see Brick on a run. He is running quickly, so quickly that he doesn't notice Jo running in the opposite direction. The two collide and fall to the ground.

Jo groans in pain before looking at Brick. "We need to stop meeting like this."

That comment gets a small laugh out of Brick. "Indeed… so, how much were you running?"

"Ok, let's not do that again. I don't need to hear about you running backwards with earplugs again." Jo replies.

"We couldn't bring earplugs, so don't worry." Brick says.

There is a moment of awkward silence as neither knows what to say.

"So… once again, it seems that we are the strongest members of this team." Jo says. Brick seems a bit worried as he knows where this is going. "I know we didn't end on the best of terms in Revenge, but it's been years, and we should let the past stay in the past."

Brick looks a bit surprised. "Do you really mean that?"

"Of course I do." Jo nods before extending her hand. After a moment of hesitation, Brick accepts, and they shake hands.

After settling in, Scarlett sits down for the first time since she arrived at camp. She's not sitting alone for long though, as Dwayne approaches her.

"Hey kid!" Dwayne says while sitting down next to her.

"Hello old man." Scarlett bluntly replies.

"Yikes, that was harsh! Words hurt, you know? Well, not as much as getting blown up would be, haha! You're not gonna blow me up, right?" Dwayne jokingly asks.

Scarlett grits her teeth. "No..."

"Phew! I was worried there for a second. But hey, even if you did blow me up, it'd give me a pretty cool SCAR, right SCARlett?"

Scarlett holds back rage. "Haha."

"You remind me a lot of MK, always laughing with an attitude! My kid Junior is the same way. He never finds my jokes funny anymore..." Dwayne sulks.

"I wonder why."

"Me too! I'm hilarious, why don't people realize that?"

"I don't know." Scarlett deadpans, wanting the conversation to end already.

"You don't know? I guess that goes to show that glasses really do make people smarter! Without them, you're an idiot!"

Scarlett suddenly stands up and walks away.

We see Bowie and Noah talking in the forest.

"So…" Noah starts.

"So…" Bowie replies.

Awkward silence.

"We've been on opposite sides of the Yellow Team, and now we're together… this is awkward." Bowie points out the obvious.

"I'm aware." Noah rolls his eyes. "I know you were probably told everything, and you probably don't like me very much, but as much as you don't want to hear this… we need each other."

Bowie stops himself from laughing. "You think so?"

"I know so. There are two trios in the former Lime and Pink members, we need to stick together, or we will become the easy targets." Noah explains.

Bowie internally groans in annoyance as he realizes that Noah may have a point. "I… guess you're right."

"Can we agree to try and work together? I'd rather not see Emma so soon." Noah states.

"Fine." Bowie agrees. There is no handshake, how sad.

"Before today, I wanted Noah out ASAP. But because of this swap, I'm stuck with him…"

As if the universe is out to make Noah look stupid, we instantly cut to Eva, Ryan, and Izzy. "Sierra needs to go if we lose!" Eva explains. "She had a majority alliance on the Lime Team and tried to take us out multiple times, we can't trust her."

Izzy nods. "Sounds quirky!"

Ryan and Eva give blank stares to each other at that response.

"Would you consider voting for her?" Ryan questions.

"Okay! Now please leave, I'm thinking about how camel babies are born and you guys are ruining that."

The blank stares are now replaced with concern.

"Fascinating." Sky says while rubbing her face. She doesn't give more than one word response to anything Sierra says.

"Greetings." a voice says. The voice belongs to Mary, who walks in and sits down. "You got some firewood? Nice work."

"I did, no one has talked to me since we arrived at camp. Makes sense, everyone else has former teammates." Staci replies.

"Well, you shouldn't be excluded, so allow me to introduce myself. My name is Mary."

"I know that, haha!" Staci responds. Mary tries not to roll her four eyes.

"Well, I'm glad you do."

"Most people wouldn't, you're a pretty forgettable contestant! My memory is strong though, it comes from my great great great great great-"

"That's enough." Mary cuts off. "So, I have a big offer."

"I don't need your nose, haha!" Staci jokes.

"No wonder no one wants to talk to this girl." Mary thinks in annoyance. She takes a deep breath before giving out a poorly acted fake laugh, though Staci doesn't comment on it. "Humorous indeed, but what I'm offering is an alliance. I feel like we could make for a strong in-game duo."

Staci gasps. "An alliance? Cool! My great-"

"Your relatives invented alliances, yes. Would you accept?"

"I would!"

"Trent and Justin only worked with me last phase because I was their only option since the brats were allied, I'm sure of it. Mary came up to me on day 1, that makes me really want to work with her!" Staci says.

"Um…" Taylor looks around, re-processing who's on the team. "It could be worse, I guess. But ginger farm boy, ex-feral, and squealing bitch don't seem fun to be around…"

"For real! Enough talk about the flops on the team though, who should we talk to? I don't want to be voted out because no one even knows who I am." Taylor questions.

"Did someone say Dakota?" Dakota says while walking up to the girly duo.

"Oh heyyy!" Taylor greets. "My bestie Anne here was just talking about you!"

Dakota raises an eyebrow.

"In a good way, of course!" Taylor adds.

"We kept trying to get her out, but the circumstances were in her favor." Anne Maria answers.

"I feel so bad for you, she made me want to die in my season and she was there for like a day." Dakota replies.

"Zeke? If so, good. After the Aftermath producers made Geoff and I talk about him nonstop, I got tired of hearing about him."

"I was tired of him since the first episode." Sadie says.

"So... What were your guys' teams like?" Trent suddenly asks.

"Terrible. Scott replies a few seconds later. "Half the team shunned me for being a villain when I didn't do anything wrong to a single one of them!"

"That's not fair, you shouldn't be judged for your actions in previous seasons." Trent says.

"You really believe that?" Scott questions. Trent nods in response.

"I didn't have that problem, but I felt like I formed no bonds with the people on my team. One of my allies was annoying, and I couldn't hold a conversation with the other. A majority of my conversations were business transactions!" Jacques rants.

"I liked my team... Mostly. Something about fat females were just unlikeable, eh?" Ezekiel refers to Millie and Sadie.

"That's literally Sugar!" Jacques comments.

"And Staci." Trent adds.

"If Devin was a female and fat, I'd say the same about him." Scott says. The squad laughed together.

Once everyone has finished collecting wood, Scott, Trent, and Ezekiel notice that Jacques is carrying more than the rest of them combined.

"Show off." Trent jokes, being somewhat jealous.

"My career is based on balance and carrying a ton of weight. This is light work!" Jacques boasts.

"Well, let's get back to camp before it stops being light work and our arms give up on us." Scott suggests. The others agree, and they begin walking back to camp.

Day 42

We cut to Chris is an open field

We see the Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Amethyst, Amber, and Gold teams walk in and step onto their new team mats. "Well, you already saw who was eliminated yesterday, so we can head right on to the next challenge! It's simple… truth or dare!"

"Didn't we already have a truth based challenge?" Mary questions.

"We did, but this is a bit different. I will spin a wheel, and whoever it lands on will get to ask anyone they want 'Truth or Dare'. If they choose truth, you ask them a question. If they lie, they're out of the challenge. If they choose a dare and either refuse or fail the dare, they're out of the challenge. At an undisclosed point, this challenge will end and the two teams with the least members remaining will see me tonight."

"Dare." Axel gives a confident look.

"I… uh…" DJ stutters.

"Come on DJ, give her a good one!" MacArthur encourages.

"I dare you to slap yourself in the face!" DJ says. Everyone gives unimpressed looks. Axel slaps herself lightly in the face and stays in the game.

"This should be fun." Chris chuckles while rubbing his hands together in anticipation.

"Fuck that chicken." Sugar glares. Clucky Jr looks ready to attack her, but Chef gives a stern glare. Clucky Jr instead goes up to DJ and…

"DJ is telling the truth!"

Everyone gasps.

"I thought for sure you did." Duncan comments.

"Hey!"

"Moving on." Chris says before spinning the wheel. It lands on Sammy. "Sammy, your turn."

"Uh… Ryan. Truth or Dare?"

"Dare, why not?" Ryan laughs.

"I dare you to kiss one of the women on your team." Sammy dares. Everyone gives an "oooh" at the dare, knowing that it would cause problems between Ryan and Stephanie.

"Damn girl!" Leshawna laughs.

"Sorry team, but I don't want to get yelled at, and I don't want to kiss any of you- no offense. I won't do it." Ryan hangs his head in shame.

"Ryan is out of the challenge!"

"THAT INSTANT KARMA!" Sammy pulls at her hair. "Dammit… I really don't want to kiss Duncan, but we need to win this challenge… but would the team judge me for saying no?"

Everyone watches Duncan and Sammy looking at each other. "Sammy… we don't have to do this, I know we'd both rather put Amy in the past."

"Yeah, if Axel can kiss Ripper, nothing is too disgusting!" Nichelle comments, earning a glare from the survivalist.

After a moment of hesitation, Duncan and Sammy begin kissing. Five seconds in, Anne Maria makes a comment. "You can just TASTE Amy in his mouth!"

Sammy nearly pulls out in disgust, but she manages to finish. Both look disgusted as they sit down. Chris begins laughing. "That was great, I knew this challenge would be amazing!"

"I dare you to go inside a small box for twenty minutes." Harold dares. Josee gasps in shock.

"How dare you!"

"Because you chose dare, duh. GOSH!"

Chef walks in with a small box.

"How do you just casually have that on hand?" Cody asks.

"We prepare for this stuff. Josee, get in."

Josee is hyperventilating just looking at the box. She looks like she won't go in, but Alejandro puts a hand on her shoulder. "I know you can do this Josee, it's just twenty minutes and our shot at gold increases." Alejandro assures. Josee takes a deep breath.

"Fine, I'll do it!" Josee says. She heads into the box.

"While Josee does that, let's continue!" Chris spins the wheel again. It lands on Wayne.

"Uh… Raj! Truth or dare!" Wayne asks, getting a few shocked looks.

"Dare, bro!" Raj says. "Nothing can phase me!"

"Eat a dozen rotten eggs!" Wayne dares.

"You're on!"

Chef comes in with rotten eggs.

"Seriously, how did you just-"

"Cody, shut up. Raj, get to eating!" Chris says.

Raj doesn't need to be told twice, as he starts eating right away. In just 30 seconds, he finishes the rotten eggs. "BOOM!"

"And Raj survives!"

Bowie gives a horrified look to the camera.

The wheel lands on MacArthur. "I pick Josee." she says while pointing to the box Josee is still in. "Truth or dare?"

"TRUTH." Josee yells.

"Do you resent Jacques for saying he didn't want to go pro with you anymore?" MacArthur asks.

"YES." Josee yells.

"And the truth comes out!" Chris announces. Jacques has a shocked look.

"I…" MK cuts herself off as she ponders the question in her head. "Well… I think she looks way better than I do, so I guess not?"

"UGH." Taylor complains that her question failed.

"Why did she even ask that, that question sucked." MK rolls her eyes. "Do not take that answer as weak."

The wheel lands on Courtney. "Ezekiel, truth or dare?"

Ezekiel rolls his eyes at being picked again. "Dare."

Courtney takes a moment to think of a dare before a lightbulb goes off. "I dare you to get on the ground, growl, and scratch yourself like you did when you were feral."

Ezekiel gasps as some others look shocked. Dawn in particular looks miffed at that dare. "Is that really necessary?"

"Come on Zeke, do it, we don't want to lose." Taylor says.

"Yeah, come on!" Blaineley adds.

"I… I can't." Ezekiel frowns while looking at the ground.

"Come on, please?" Blaineley pleads.

"No, I won't. You won't pressure me into it." Ezekiel remains firm. The team mostly looks upset, but Trent puts a comforting hand on Ezekiel's shoulder.

"And Zeke is out!"

"I wasn't going to do it, it hits too close to home." Ezekiel frowns.

The wheel lands on Josee, right after she gets out of the box. "Har-" she is about to yell out, but she looks at Nichelle and Shawn and decides not to target the Emerald team. "Eva, truth or dare?"

"Dare."

"I dare you to let everyone poke you for five minutes. You have to not get mad."

"I can do that." Eva says confidently. Everyone not on her team walks over and begins prodding her. She does well for a few minutes, but then…

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Sadie screams into Eva's ear. She stands up and punches Sadie.

"You idiot, are you trying to make me go deaf?"

"Eva, you got mad! You're out of this one!" Chris says.

"That wasn't poking!"

"But you got mad during the timeframe, so you're still a loser."

"Truth." Nichelle replies.

"Is it true that Hollywood begged you to come back instead of the other way around?" Dakota asks.

"Um, of course it's true. Why wouldn't they want me?" Nichelle questions.

"Truth." MK puts a hand on her hip, a little worried about what Tammy would do if she chose dare.

MK shrugs. "That's my personality, making wisecracks at people. It's hardly personal."

The wheel gets spun again, this time landing on Axel.

"MK, truth or dare."

"I swear to god stop picking me-"

"Alright, I'll pick dare!"

"I dare you to fight a bear… again." Axel smirks.

MK stops moving right away. "I- no."

"That's right." Axel says proudly.

Josee looks at Tyler and Raj, then back at Harold. She wants to lie, but she knows that she'll be called out. "I don't feel bad in the sense that I had to do it to make sure my team won, but that doesn't mean the possibility of me feeling bad in other ways doesn't exist."

Shawn instantly runs away in fear.

"We can't even get a real zombie, what a baby." Chris rolls his eyes. "Someone get him back, but he's out of this challenge!"

The wheel lands on Lightning.

"Sha-oh yeah! It's my turn!" Lightning cheers before pointing to Blaineley. "You look like the girl who bumped into me in Germany, so I want REVENGE. Truth or dare?"

"Truth." Blaineley checks her nails.

"Why were you hugging a bear?"

"It's none of your business." Blaineley glares.

"ANSWER."

"NO."

"If you won't answer, then you're out of the challenge!"

"Well, we're losing a point." Courtney complains.

"You're on!" Chet smirks.

We cut to Chris and Chef watching Chet drink from the toilet, both trying not to vomit.

The wheel lands on Jo. "Bowie, truth or dare?"

"Dare." Bowie smirks.

"Back to the kissing themes, I dare you to kiss Raj."

Raj laughs. "That's not even a challenge!"

Bowie on the other hand looks horrified, as Raj just ate the rotten eggs earlier in the challenge. As Bowie looks shocked, Scarlett nudges Jo and whispers. "You should've said Chet, that would've been an instant KO for him in this challenge."

Bowie grimaces while walking up to Raj. "Make this quick." Bowie says. After a quick kiss, Bowie tries his best not to throw up, while Raj is blissfully unaware of Bowie's disgust.

Chase gulps after hearing that.

"It's not, I survived it!" Trent seems prideful.

"I survived that before too!" Sugar replies.

"Ok, we'll call in a helicopter. As we do that…"

The wheel lands on Justin. "Leshawna, truth or dare?"

"Dare!"

"Slap the person sitting next to you as hard as you can."

Leshawna instantly slaps Junior, who falls down and groans in pain.

"Hey, you can't just hit my son like that!" Dwayne reprimands.

"Sorry, but I had to for the challenge." Leshawna shrugs as Sugar enters the helicopter that just landed. Junior looks dizzy as the wheel is spun again.

It lands on Sky. "B, Truth or Dare?"

B makes a D with his hands.

"I dare you to talk."

B facepalms, knowing in hindsight that it was obvious that someone would pull that.

"Truth." Taylor rolls her eyes.

"Truth!" Chris says before spinning the wheel yet again. It lands on Kitty.

"Dare." Courtney cracks her knuckle.

"Get on the ground and bark like a dog."

"You wanted to humiliate someone, so it seems fitting to make you do something similar." Kitty shrugs.

We get another spin of the wheel, this time with Tyler being who it lands on. "Justin, truth or dare?"

"Truth. I won't risk a challenge that could hurt me."

"Well, I've been curious about how you've been doing… where do you work?"

"Oh, I don't want you to kiss anyone. I want you to shave your head." Sammy says to some gasps.

"Hell naw! My poof is too good to get shaved." Anne Maria denies.

"Well, if you deny it, you're out of the challenge!" Chris says. "Now to spin the wheel again-"

Sugar comes crashing down onto the wheel.

"Is she okay?!" Emma asks in panic.

Sugar stands up. "Yeah, I'm all good!"

"How did she survive that, and we all survived our building exploding, yet Rock's ankle hurt from a simple jump?" Mary questions out loud.

"Injuries only happen when it's convenient, don't you know?" Chris questions. "Well anyways, since the wheel is destroyed, I guess the challenge ends a few rounds early! Isn't that fun?"

Sierra takes a deep breath. "Alright. Should we get Bowie and Noah on board?"

"I suppose." Mary shrugs.

Elsewhere, we see Eva, Izzy, and Noah talking. "Hi Team E-Scope!" Izzy waves, the screen being hit with a blast from the past with this reunited trio.

"Hi." Noah deadpans, more concerned about the vote than greetings. "So… who are y'all thinking?"

"Ryan!" Izzy says.

"NO." Eva yells. "It has to be Sierra!"

"I don't want to vote for Sierra. How about Bowie, he seems sus!"

"That may not be the best idea either." Noah shrugs. "How about Staci? Do any of us care about her?"

"Well, not particularly." Eva admits. "BUT IT HAS TO BE SIERRA!"

Izzy and Eva begin arguing the merits of voting Sierra, causing Noah to facepalm.

We see Mary picking some berries by herself. "Heyyyy girl!" Bowie flamboyantly greets.

"The classic 'sound as gay as possible' move when talking to a woman to seem friendly. I see his tactics."

"Hello, Bowie." Mary nods formally before standing up straight to meet Bowie.

"Girl, we NEED to discuss this vote. You seem cool-"

"We both know that's not true Bowie, you don't need to compliment me to discuss the vote."

"Oh thank god." Bowie sighs in relief. "Those glasses are anything BUT cool."

"I prefer good vision, not showy pink hearts, but I digress. I'm thinking about voting for Eva or Ryan." Mary states.

"Me too. Sierra apparently has a majority on Lime, but that's a problem that could be taken care of later on." Bowie replies.

"Exactly!" Mary says. "Especially since Eva is friendly with Noah and Izzy outside the game, that could be a potential problem."

"Agreed, we can't let Eva get too much power. Either taking out her or one of her potential numbers is crucial tonight." Bowie nods.

"Glad we're on the same page here. I feel that we could make for quite the formidable duo." Mary says. "You seem to have your head on straight."

"Thanks." Bowie smiles. Somehow, the obvious joke is not made. "I agree."

"Hm, I didn't know she of all people had game. I'm fine working with Noah and all, but I need more than just him."

"Isn't Eva the one with…" Sky trails off. "Nevermind. What do you think, Izzy?"

"I'd like for it to be Ryan." Izzy says. "He's nice and that's LAME, haha!"

"Being nice isn't lame." Sky comments. "But I guess we can do that."

Sky and Mary exchange a glance, both having the same thought.

"We couldn't really openly target Eva in front of Izzy without worrying about her reaction. Besides, we'll still likely have a majority next time even if Eva stays. Anyways, Mary and I went to inform a few of the others about the plan."

We cut to Noah who is getting some water by the lake. "Hey there!" Bowie greets.

"Oh, hey. Who do you think we should vote for? I'm thinking of Sierra." Noah says.

"Well, I'm not, and neither is most of the team." Bowie lightly chuckles.

"Huh? What do you mean?" Noah questions.

"Most of the team is against Eva and Ryan." Bowie explains. "We have to jump on board."

Noah grimaces. "Alright… but who are we voting for?"

"It feels like I had no say in anything today…" Noah rubs his head.

"I'm worried." Ezekiel admits to Trent. "I was the first one out of the challenge on our team, I could be going home."

"EZEKIEL." Sadie immediately blurts out. "He deserves to go home, he voted out Katie!"

"It's like she's trying to give us reasons to keep him."

"I don't care who goes." Jacques shrugs.

"I want it to be Trent, I've had to deal with him for like… ever. I'm sick of his face, let's vote him out instead." Taylor inputs.

"But Ezekiel is more annoying." Blaineley comments. "He somehow is a pale farmer, like how do you even accomplish that?"

"No idea, but Trent going wouldn't be a bad idea." Dakota says. "He's probably a more competent player."

As the group of six debate, we cut over to Scott eating dirt. "Hey… ew." Trent attempts a greeting, though the gross out factor ruins it.

"Thanks for the warm greeting." Scott rolls his eyes as Trent and Ezekiel sit near him. "What do you guys want? To discuss the vote?"

"Yup!" Trent confirms. "We want Taylor gone."

"Sure." Scott replies. "I don't care for her."

"Nice!" Trent cheers.

"I'm not trying to do anything major to put a target on myself, I need to see the team dynamics after the first vote to know what I need to do. Unlike with the Red Team, I don't have the luxury of having days to figure out I'm in trouble."

Later on, we see Jacques getting some water as Trent walks up to him. "Hey, man."

Jacques spits out the water in his mouth. "You scared me!"

"Sorry…" Trent apologizes.

"What do you need?"

"Remember how us guys bonded while picking up the firewood yesterday? What would you think about turning that into an actual group to vote out Taylor?"

Jacques is worried but hides it. "That isn't a majority though, do you have another girl on board?"

"No, but I'm pretty sure you could get Blaineley. Weren't you guys on the same team?"

"We were…"

"Get her, then we can eliminate Taylor. Just think about it."

"Hm… if I worked with the guys, Blaineley, and Sadie by extension of Blaineley, I would have a lot of power that only an Olympic champion like me deserves!"

We see Jacques walk up to Blaineley and Sadie. "Girls, we need to discuss the vote just among the three of us now. Scott, Trent, and Ezekiel are voting for Taylor. What would you guys think about possibly flipping sides and working with the guys instead?"

"No!" Sadie flips out. "I don't want to do that, we have a perfectly good set up as is."

"We can have an even better one though. I doubt the guys are THAT tight, Anne Maria and Taylor have apparently been a duo for a while though."

Blaineley has a conflicted look, though Sadie stays firm. "No."

"Blaineley, what do you think?" Jacques asks. Both he and Sadie look at the washed up celebrity as she internally debates.

"Jacques does make a good point, but the question is… does Jacques want Taylor out for that reason, or just to work with the guys?"

Cut to the Amber Team at the elimination

"Ahhh." Chris looks around. "For the first time this phase, we are sending someone home. All of you are familiar faces to the campfire, but for one of you, it will be your last trip here. Get to voting and we'll see who the first phase 2 boot is!"

"We haven't been on the same page since Rodney left, sorry about this." Ryan frowns while voting Sierra.

"Sierra, I don't even need to explain." Eva votes.

We get a quick cut of Noah, Bowie, Mary, Izzy, Sky, Staci, and Sierra voting before we cut back to the campfire.

"If anyone has found a hidden immunity idol and wants to play it, now would be the time to do so…"

"Alright. Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will have to leave the campfire ceremony immediately. I'll read the votes."

Sierra gulps.

Sierra looks at Eva and Ryan.

Eva glares at the rest of the team while Ryan just sighs. "I was hoping this new phase would give me new life in this game, but I guess not."

We cut to Eva and Ryan standing near the dock of shame. "Eva, I know that Stephanie and I are gone, but you got this." Ryan says. "Sorry that this happened."

"It's okay." Eva replies. "I'll make them PAY."

"Please don't act irrationally." Ryan pleads. "You won't make a comeback if you piss them all off."

Eva sighs, knowing that he's right. "I'll try my best… and thanks for everything you've done for me."

The duo share a hug before we cut away.

"Same situation as the Lime Team, just new colors. I'm mostly disappointed in Izzy and Noah though."

Noah sighs. "I wish it would've been Sierra."

We see the Amber Team exit and the Gold Team enter

"Well… despite your name, you did anything but achieve gold." Chris comments with a chuckle. "One of you is going home tonight. Let's see who that is."

"I'm tired of you, it's been six weeks too long getting to know you." Trent votes for Taylor.

"Sorry, but you're weird and you caused me to lose in Revenge." Anne Maria votes for Ezekiel.

"I'm so nervous…" Ezekiel groans while voting for Taylor.

"Byeeeee!" Taylor taunts while voting for Ezekiel.

We get a quick cut of Scott, Dakota, Sadie, Blaineley, and Jacques voting before we cut to the campfire.

Ezekiel's eyes are wide as the camera pans to Blaineley, Sadie, and Jacques.

Ezekiel looks down in disappointment.

"48th person voted out of Total Drama Ultimate… Ezekiel. That's 5, that's enough. Time for you to go."

Trent shakes his head at Jacques, who just shrugs in response.

"Aw man…" Ezekiel frowns. "At least I wasn't the first boot."

"True, you did better than usual." Trent says some nice words.

"Someone tell Dawn that I wish her good luck." Ezekiel says before standing up and walking out.

Ezekiel walks up to the boat of losers. He and Ryan don't exchange words before the boat takes the duo away.

"YES! I got some revenge, that was for you Katie!"

We cut to Chris alone at the campfire. "Well, two more are gone! How will the new phase develop? Find out on the next episode of Total Drama Ultimate!"

That's a wrap for episode 22. I feel like next episode will be the true beginning as far as interactions go.

Ryan- This probably doesn't come as a shock as Ryan was easily one of the least relevant campers still in the running. Idk, he just wasn't really easy to write for. We'll see how Chet and MK react to their fellow Operation: TYTO member's departure.

Ezekiel- On the other hand, this might come off as a surprise as Zeke had some decent prominence in phase 1. Unfortunately for him, his storyline came to an end last episode so RIP. He was a rollercoaster to write for. In the first ten episodes or so, I struggled mightily to write for him because I just didn't know what to do and writing scenes with him and Dawn seemed difficult. Things clicked later on when the crush came into play, and I think it was a nice subversion to not have them end up together. He made it further than ever and has friends now, so despite going in the first half, he still has things to celebrate.
