Time for the third installment of Loser's Lounge! I was delaying this for so long because to be frank, I enjoy writing the competition a lot more. Quick disclaimer, this will only cover episodes 16-21. The Phase 2 boots will be covered in Part 4.
Red Rain- I was hoping B's elimination would come as a shock, another instance of a big player overplaying their hand and being blindsided. MK needed her borderline hacking moment! 3 1/2 months, wow I feel weird about that lol. It feels like a lot longer ngl. As for your questions, I'll keep the answer to those a secret for now, I want to keep y'all on your toes!
myfacewhen- True
Jaron58- That was shade, we love it
Lacueva- We discussed part of this in dms.
Mortal01- It's a chapter-ly tradition for you to be like "x and y are a shockingly good duo", glad that continues. Fictional characters seem like better friends than irl people sadly. I've shaded Nichelle never talking to people a lot, it's kind of sad lol.
Chef walks in with a letter. "Who wants a chance to help someone still in the game?"
All eyes are on Chef.
"Help someone in the game?" Damien questions. "What are you talking about?"
"Let me explain." Chef says. "From now on, there will be little advantages hidden around this place. If you find one, you can send it to a player still in the game."
"Really?" Stephanie questions. "So, could I help Ryan or Eva?"
"Wow, way to spoil the surprise if you find one." Gerry comments.
Stephanie glares at the older man. "Shut up, you all knew I would do that anyways."
"Yeah, she needs to help her steroid buddies- AH!" Pete gets cut off by a punch.
"STOP FIGHTING. This letter will be hidden when you're all asleep, when you wake up, it's fair game to go after."
…
We see multiple people searching around. Near the pool area are Priya and Caleb. "Come on Caleb, we NEED to find this to influence the game!" Priya drags Caleb around.
"Priya, calm down!" Caleb says, noticing the intensity in her search.
"Why? We would still have an impact." Priya responds.
"I know you want to help Millie and all, but I'm not too interested in helping her after what Laurie said." Caleb replies.
"Oh… right." Priya realizes. "Maybe I shouldn't search at all."
"Huh? I never said you have to stop entirely, I just-"
"No, I should stop. I'm going to get too dedicated to finding advantages to the point that it will consume me. I've made the mistake of the game being my biggest priority way too often, I'm not going to let it happen again." Priya says. Caleb looks surprised. "I'd rather spend my time with YOU."
Caleb looks touched as this before the couple begin kissing. Julia walks in. "Buttknuckles…" she mutters to herself in annoyance. "I'm going to be the one who finds this!"
"Not on my watch." Damien pushes her into the pool.
"Hey!" Julia complains. "Watch it- wait, if it's in the pool, you screwed yourself over! Thanks, loser!"
Julia begins swimming around to search for the advantage. Ripper notices this and looks worried as he goes up to Sam, Beardo, and Spud. "Guys, this is bad! Look at Julia!"
"She's just swimming?" Spud questions.
"That reminds me of this swimming game I used to play-"
"No one cares, NERD." Ripper cuts Sam off. "If she's swimming, that means that she is exercising, and that can't happen! She will lose the weight that we have been trying to make her gain."
"Th- that would ruin our plans…" Beardo agrees.
"We need to kick things into overdrive."
…
We see Cameron, Ellody, Devin, and Carrie in the library, all of them searching for the advantage. "If I must ask, who are you trying to find this advantage for?" Ellody questions Cameron.
"Zoey." he answers. "I would've considered Dakota, but after hearing she threw Mike under the bus, no shot. What about you?"
"Mary. I could give it to one of my old alliance mates, but that's not needed as they're still in the majority from what I know." Ellody responds.
"Mary is too." Cameron replies.
"But she's my friend outside of the game, this was a simple equation." Ellody says.
"Fair enough." Cameron shrugs. He pulls out a book in hopes that the letter will be behind it. "Woah, that's 'The Horrors Of Reality TV', I've been trying to find this book forever!"
"Wait, what?" Ellody stops searching to look at this book. "That's one of my favorite deep dives into how fame can negatively affect someone's life!"
"Mine too, it's so fascinating!" Cameron agrees, the two nerds finding common ground. Devin and Carrie notice this.
"Meh, those deep dive books aren't my style." Carrie notes.
"What is your style of book?" Devin asks, despite knowing the answer.
"Romance, duh!" Carrie replies.
"Why don't we start a romance story of our own?"
"No." Ennui walks in with a hard glare, causing the duo to leave.
Post Episode 16:
At the end of the day, no one found an advantage. However, that doesn't mean nothing is happening inside the Loser's Lounge. For example, we see EmmaRR chugging some beer that Brody gave her. "Thank you Brody…" she thanks. "I usually am not a fan of alcohol, but I need it after what happened."
"No problem dude!" Brody responds.
"I still can't believe it, I thought there was no reason to get rid of me." Emma frowns.
"I thought the same thing going into my elimination." Gwen says. Emma just gives her an annoyed look.
"Do you have an idea of what happened?" Mike asks.
"Well first of all, Sammy had this steal a vote advantage that she used." Emma says. "Then I got out with five votes, meaning one of my alliance members flipped on me specifically, while two others voted for Scarlett. Scarlett's vote was stolen, I voted for Sammy, but I think Izzy voted for me."
"Huh." Mike says in surprise. "Why would she flip on you?"
"Scarlett has this theory that she's Brainzilla, I asked her about it. Coincidentally, I was eliminated right after." Emma bitterly states.
"You think Brainzilla is the real deal?" Gwen asks. "That sounds as realistic as Leonard's magic being real."
"Hey!" Leonard says in offense, overhearing the shade nearby.
…
Elsewhere, we see Kelly sitting at a table by herself. She looks to be tearing up while thinking of what happened with Taylor. The memories of everything that has gone wrong up to this point won't leave her head, which only serves to frustrate her. "If anyone wants this extra muffin, come up and get it!" Ms. Martin shouts.
Kelly sighs. Maybe a muffin would cheer her up after the bloodline betrayal. She walks up to pick up the muffin. "Thanks…" she says quietly. Ms. Martin notices the hurt and Kelly's eyes and decides to speak up about it.
"Are you okay?" she questions.
"No…" Kelly admits.
"Is this about what your daughter did?" Ms. Martin asks. Kelly nods. Ms. Martin looks sympathetic. "Come in."
Ms. Martin opens the door to the kitchen, and Kelly walks it.
"Mother to mother, let your frustrations out." Ms. Martin encourages.
"I just can't believe that my own daughter would vote me out! She's my only child and I was a complete failure at raising her, Staci was right!" Kelly sobs. "I enabled her bratty attitude, and she's become a complete monster and it's all my fault! I don't know if our relationship will ever recover from this."
Ms. Martin listens to her sorrows and puts a hand on her shoulder. "Everyone was right in saying that you needed better discipline. If DJ acted like Taylor did, I would've slapped his ass to Jupiter. When she gets here, you better make better choices with her."
Kelly listens intently.
…
Elsewhere, we see Scary Girl throwing a weight into a mirror at the gym. "Hehe, I love adding more bad luck to the world!" Scary Girl giggles. She grabs a piece of broken glass and admires it. She goes to walk out of the room, but she notices something on a dumbbell.
The advantage.
Scary Girl shrieks with joy, but then she remembers that she isn't friends with anyone. That will make giving the advantage to someone difficult.
…
We see Ellody and Cameron talking again in the cafeteria while reading the reality tv book. "I'm glad to have found another avid reader around here, my team wasn't very well versed in books." Ellody says.
"I'm glad to have found one too, your insights are great. My team didn't like books either." Cameron states.
"Wayne and Lightning both said that reading is a waste of time, I can't believe them. Jo is the only one who showed SLIGHT interest in reading, that's probably why she's been killing it in the game." Ellody says right after Scary Girl walks in.
"KILLING it? I know who I want to give this to!"
Post Episode 17:
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" Brody overdramatically exclaims when he sees Geoff enter the Loser's Lounge. "What happened?"
Geoff has an irritated look on his face that concerns a few people, as Geoff is usually very chill. "Our team is so immature."
Devin looks irritated. "How are Scott, Max, and Courtney still in? They don't deserve to still be here!"
"Nah bro, it was mostly Harold's fault."
"What?" Devin questions.
"I'll explain later." Geoff says. Tom walks in behind Geoff, much to the happiness of Kelly.
"Wow Tom, nice to see you here." Kelly smirks.
"Shut up! I was robbed by a stupid twist, this wasn't fair!" Tom complains. "I'm going to my room!"
With that, Tom makes his exit.
…
Later that night, we see Ripper bust into Julia's room again. He has managed to acquire the highest fat gummies he can find, and he begins to force feed it to Julia in her sleep.
Post Episode 18:
We see Julia feeling groggy in the morning. "Ugh, I feel so full… all I had was a salad yesterday!"
Suddenly, Leonard appears from behind her. "BOO!"
"AH- I mean, you're weird, get away!" Julia says.
"You were scared!" Leonard taunts.
"No, I wasn't!"
"You were."
"I was not."
"You were."
"I was not."
"You were."
"I was not."
"YOU WERE."
"I WAS NOT."
"Yeesh, did I cast a delusional spell on you?" Leonard questions. "Whatever, you're finally reaping the sins of your behavior for being mean to Tammy!"
Julia begins laughing. "What do you mean, dork?"
"You're gaining weight! You bully others for theirs, it's about time you get yours!" Leonard says.
Julia's laughing increases. "I'm not gaining weight, I'll always be skinny and beautiful!" she counters.
"Check your weight then, we'll see who's right!" Leonard challenges.
Julia smirks before the duo head off to find a scale. Once they do, Julia steps on it and confidently looks at the number… which is two pounds heavier than the last time she weighed herself. "WHAAAAAAAAAAT? THIS CAN'T BE RIGHT!" Julia panics.
"Haha, never mess with me!" Leonard says. "Now I must go! Teleportation!"
Leonard runs off, clearly not actually teleporting. Julia is too worried to care. "Oh no, is his magic actually REAL?" she screams in shock.
…
In the cafeteria, people hear Julia screaming.
"What is she upset about?" Jay wonders.
"Who cares?" Amy responds while biting an apple.
"...fair point, Amy!" Mickey says.
"I know, that's why I brought it up." Amy smugly responds.
The twins look at each other and don't say anything else, knowing how easily Amy's wrath could be brought out.
Suddenly, the cafeteria door opens. Miles and Lindsay walk in. Beth notices Lindsay and sighs in disappointment, sad that her best friend is out of the game. "Lindsay!" she greets while giving her friend a hug.
"Hey Beth!" Lindsay hugs back. "And like OMG, hi Tom!"
"Hey girl!" Tom greets back.
"I'm so sorry you're gone." Beth apologizes.
"It's fine. There's just SOMEONE I have to talk to." Lindsay says with determination. She begins looking around the room.
Miles walks up to Laurie. Laurie notices the dejected look on her face and frowns. "Are you okay?"
"No, I'm kind of mad at Dakota."
"What did she do?"
"She threw me under the bus at the campfire ceremony." Miles sighs.
"Yes, she's killing it!" Sam cheers, earning glares from the Vegans and Mike, another person who Sam cheered for Dakota throwing under the bus. "Sorry, continue your conversation."
"I thought I was playing a good game, I'm sad to be here already." Miles says.
"I'm sad you're here already too… but I need to apologize again for how I acted all season. I shouldn't have let the public opinion get into my head so much, thank you for bringing me down to Earth." Laurie states.
"It's okay, I always had faith in you." Miles replies.
As the Vegans hug, something else is going down. Topher was sitting at his table and eating some fruit, but now he isn't alone as Lindsay walks up to him. "Hey!" Topher greets while flashing a smile. "Sorry you're gone, but it's good to see you-"
"Topher, stop." Lindsay says firmly. "I heard about what you did to Beth, Zee's voice gets around!"
"It does?" Zee questions. Beth motions him to shush.
"I didn't do anything to Beth, Zee is a liar." Topher says with a slightly worried face.
"That's not a nice accusation." Zee frowns.
"It's true-"
"No, it's not." Lindsay interjects. "Topher, I'm sorry to say, but your services are no longer required. Ooh, saying that phrase makes me sound so cool!"
Topher looks shocked. "Are- are you kidding me? You're firing me over an unconfirmed rumor?"
Lindsay has a moment of consideration "Well, I guess you're right that it's unconfirmed, maybe I can wait until the show airs-"
"He's trying to manipulate you." Beth gets Lindsay back on track.
"Yeah, you're right. Topher, you're fired!"
"Lindsay, you won't be able to find another manager as good as me!" Topher yells.
"You haven't even done anything." Damien comments.
"You were her assistant for like two seconds." Stephanie adds.
"You did NOT rock." Rock says.
"Shut up!" Topher angrily shouts.
"Sorry Tofu-"
"You literally said my name correctly a minute ago, how did you get it wrong-"
"But this is where our business relationship ends." Lindsay says before she and Beth make their exit. Topher is left stunned.
"So… she's not as stupid as I thought."
…
We see Dave, Rodney, and Lorenzo eating together at a table. Dave notices an odd look on Lorenzo's face, so he decides to talk. "Uh… have you and Scary Girl talked since… THAT happened?" Dave questions.
"No." Lorenzo admits. "I haven't seen her at all."
"Well, that's scary." Dave says, the idea of a missing Scary Girl being a terrifying prospect.
"I hope I can find her soon." Lorenzo says.
"You might want to NOT see her again, but what do I know?" Dave replies.
"I hope things work out between you, love is truly powerful!" Rodney says, causing Dave to make an annoyed face at the lunacy around him.
Post Episode 19:
"YES!" Laurie cheers while seeing Katie is the most recent victim.
"Shut up, Laurie." Katie frowns in annoyance.
"I have to agree with Laurie on this one, you and Sadie were annoying as hell." Priya says. She and Laurie share a high five.
"Whatever, Sadie is going to win this!" Katie states. The other eliminated contestant, Owen, just looks a bit dejected. Geoff and Brody walk up to the oversized Owen.
"Hey dude, are you good?" Geoff asks.
"No, I wish I was still in the game! This is the last season and I'm already out." Owen frowns.
"Well… I think I know something that could lighten the mood." Brody says.
"What is it?" Owen questions.
"Let's throw a good old fashioned party for us losers! Give us a few days, and Geoff and I will start the biggest party known to man!" Brody replies.
"Woah dude, totally rad idea!" Geoff cheers.
"I think that would cheer me up!" Owen smiles.
"Alright then, let's do it!"
…
Elsewhere, we see Julia stepping into the gym. "Ugh, what are you two doing here?" she questions Stephanie and Caleb.
"Working out? What else would we be doing, bimbo?" Stephanie responds snappily.
"Ok, that was so rude. I deserve to have the space all to myself, so can you two buttknuckles go away?" Julia requests.
"Nope." Caleb shuts down right away.
"Yeah princess, we were here first." Stephanie glares. "Take your influencer ass elsewhere."
"You're an influencer too!" Julia growls. The women look like they're about to fight before Julia takes a deep breath. "Whatever, I'll just outshine you guys."
With that, Julia walks over to a treadmill. For some reason though, it doesn't get moving, much to Julia's annoyance. "Is this thing broken?" she goes to step off, but she trips. "OW!"
Caleb and Stephanie begin laughing at her expense. We see Ripper laughing outside the door.
"Haha, good thing she stepped onto the treadmill I messed with! Now she can't get her exercise in!"
…
We see EmmaRR and Owen talking. "You have to tell me, how are Kitty and Noah doing?" Emma urgently pesters, clearly keen on obtaining details.
"Uh… not too good. We were in the minority, the others had an alliance." Owen replies.
"Dammit!" Emma slams her fist onto the table. "One of them has to win!"
"I know, I want them to do well too." Owen says.
"You don't understand. I failed something extremely important when I lost this game, the best I can get is a win by association. If they lose, my early loss will just sting even more!" Emma replies with a tone of franticness clear in her voice.
"Emma, is this about your student debt?" Owen questions. Emma goes silent.
"Yes." Emma nods. "Can you blame me, law school costs a fortune!"
"I can't blame you." Owen emphatically nods. "But you can't control how the game goes, so don't stress yourself out over it!"
"It's hard not to…"
Post Episode 20:
"Finally, you should've been eliminated forever ago!" Devin points at Max with annoyance.
"Excuse me, you crybaby, but you do NOT insult me and get away with it!" Max glares.
Carrie tugs on Devin's arm. "Let's not get into a fight." she pulls him away.
…
We see Dave and Ella talking. "Hey, my prince, it's good to see you again!" Ella smiles as the two are eating fruit. Dave laughs. He and Ella never completely cut off contact, and Ella uses prince as a nickname.
"It's unfortunate that your team was so bad, a lot of people with potential just hosed by being stuck on it." Dave says.
"Well, you live and you learn." Ella says. "When we first came together, I was convinced that we could win by pure heart… that turned out well. Oh well, I'm rooting for Tammy to win this."
Dave laughs. "Tammy?"
"Yes? What's the matter with that?"
"I mean, not to be rude, but she's LEONARD'S friend. Leonard! The guy who has a 0% success rate in doing anything successful. I have a feeling she floated her way this far." Dave says.
"Actually, not really." Ella corrects. "Tammy has been one of the MVPs of our team and she has the idol. She isn't like Leonard, she can separate fiction from reality."
"Really?" Dave asks in shock. "Are you sure that we're talking about the same Tammy?"
"I am… I just want Leonard to come to the same realization about magic so he can make the strides that she has." Ella states. "I want to get through to him!"
Dave smiles. "Well, if Tammy can manage to not be stupid about the magic, maybe there is hope for Leonard! Do you want to try and do something about it?"
Ella returns the smile, and the pair shake hands.
…
We see Lorenzo walking by Brody's room. He hears loud noises and knocks on it. Brody answers the door, and Lorenzo sees that Geoff is also inside. "What is going on?" Lorenzo questions. "I keep hearing yelling and crashing."
"Sorry dude, we get really hyped when planning parties!" Geoff apologizes.
"I can't believe I got worried that we would never do this again." Brody laughs. "I really feel bad for kidnapping that baby now!"
Lorenzo looks confused for a second, but kidnapped babies aren't his priority at the moment, so he asks another question. "Do you guys know where Scary Girl is?" he asks.
"Nope, sorry bro." Brody says.
"Haven't seen her anywhere… not that I'm looking out for her, haha!" Geoff chuckles.
"Alright then…" Lorenzo walks off.
Post Episode 21:
"HAHA, LOSERS! YOU SAMEY SYMPATHIZERS GOT WHAT YOU DESERVED!" Amy shouts at Jasmine and Zoey as they enter the Loser's Lounge.
"Wait, how did two people from one team get eliminated?" Jay asks in confusion.
No one cares about Jay's question, sadly for him.
"Amy, shut up or I'll break your teeth." Jasmine glares, causing Amy to gulp in fear. What isn't fearful however is the reunion between Mike, Zoey, and Cameron. The trio reunite with a group hug. Cameron breaks off to allow for a Mike and Zoey kiss.
"I've really missed you guys, it's so good to see you again!" Zoey says.
"We missed you too!" Cameron says.
"How did you get eliminated?" Mike asks.
"There was a double elimination for our team." Zoey frowns. "I got screwed over."
"I'm sorry to hear that." Mike pulls her into another hug.
Sanders looks around. No one seems to care about her elimination, that is kind of sad if we're being honest. Heather on the other hand does get some reaction. "Wow Heather, I thought you'd last longer." Gwen says. She realizes that it's probably not the best thing to say to a recently eliminated player. "Oops, sorry."
"Whatever, stupid Jacques and Sugar." Heather rolls her eyes.
"Sugar got you out?" Ella says with a frown.
"Yup."
Ella looks sad. "She's always going to be the way she is…"
Before anything else can happen, the doors burst open. Geoff and Brody are here! "Dudes, we are about to set up a party! Who's in?"
Everyone in the room shows some degree of intrigue.
…
We see everyone except Scary Girl at the party. The Tennis Rivals are looking at Ennui, who is just sitting in a corner while drinking a soda. "Hey pale rider, are you going to talk to anyone?" Gerry questions with his trademark chuckle. Ennui isn't amused and doesn't respond.
"Emo kids these days, thinking they're so trendy and edgy." Pete rolls his eyes.
Elsewhere, we see Stephanie and Owen with a bunch of shots around them. Geoff is standing on a chair. "First to down all their shots win! GO!"
Stephanie and Owen begin chugging their drinks.
"You got this, Steph!" Caleb cheers her on. Priya looks invested in this contest as she's clutching to his shoulder. Carrie smiles at seeing how relaxed she is.
"Come on Owen, kick her ass!" Emma cheers for Owen.
The Adversity Twins watch as this goes on and they gag. "I would not be able to do that." Mickey shudders.
"Same here, good thing we're anti alcohol!" Jay adds.
Beth overhears this. "Maybe you should take some notes, Lindsay."
"Omg, I got drunk and fell off the stage ONCE, Beth!" Lindsay rolls her eyes. "It became a meme, and no one thought less of me!"
"Ya, it was iconic!" Tom input.
"EEK, you fell off the stage?" Katie questions. "That is so quirky!"
"It was!" Lindsay says.
"You know, your voice sounds kind of similar." Katie notes. "We should be friends!"
…
Topher frowns as he notices what's going on. He gets a drink for himself and begins chugging. It seems that this season has traumatized everyone into becoming alcoholics to cope with the pain, this show is totally healthy! Topher is joined by Sanders.
"Are you okay?" she asks, noticing the sour mood he's in.
"Do I look like I'm ok?" Topher snottily replies. Sanders sighs.
"What happened?"
"I got fired by Lindsay!" Topher frowns. "I didn't steal Chris' job, and now I couldn't hold my job as an assistant!"
For some reason, Sanders feels a pang of pity. "Tell me more."
…
Julia looks at the food with a frown. There are these chips that Julia always would use on a cheat day, but with her recent weight gain, she isn't interested in chowing down. Ripper walks up to her. "Hey Julia, how are you?"
"Go away." Julia glares before walking off. Ripper walks over to the TDU band of Rock, Spud, Beardo, and Sam.
"Things are working out perfectly gentleman! She won't even eat her cheat day food!"
"How do you know what her cheat day food is?" Sam asks.
"She vented about it when we were plotting the cheating in Rematch. Anyways, we're doing a good job at turning her into a fatty!" Ripper replies.
"You're doing what now?" Rock questions.
"I WON!" a voice shouts. Stephanie is screaming in joy while standing up on a table. Owen collapses to the ground.
…
Laurie looks at some meat food options. She's resisting the urge to make a scene. "Remember Laurie, you can't control others…" she tells herself. She sees Miles right behind her.
"A few weeks ago, you would've been destroying this party." Miles laughs. Laurie joins in.
…
Jasmine, Cameron, Ellody, Mike, Gwen, and Zoey are all sitting at a table and eating snacks together. "Those guys really know how to throw a party." Mike compliments.
"I would know, I went to one of their parties." Ellody says, getting gasps from everyone else at the table.
"YOU went to a party… willingly? Not just because you're stuck here?" Cameron asks in shock.
"Geoff and I bonded in Morocco on the race, he invited me to a party and I agreed to go." Ellody explains.
"Geoff just brings out the party in people." Gwen mentions. "I wouldn't have been caught dead at a party when I first came onto this show, I've really broken out of my shell."
"Right! You never would've been friends with someone like me." Zoey laughs.
"You know… being out sucks, but at least everyone can spend time together in a stress free environment!" Jasmine says.
She should've watched her words, as Amy storms in. "Ugh, what is going on here? The Samey Sympathizers have formed a clan?"
"Amy, I said go away." Jasmine glares.
"Nah." Amy grabs a glass of water and pours it onto Jasmine. That was a big mistake, as Jasmine stands up and growls. Amy realizes this and tries to run, but Jasmine grabs her by the hair and picks her up. "PUT ME DOWN!"
Jasmine doesn't oblige, and she walks Amy to a janitor's closet and throws her inside. She effortlessly grabs a table and pins it to the door so Amy can't escape.
"Woohoo!" Zoey cheers.
"The less Amy, the better." Gwen laughs.
Dave watches on and smiles. Brody walks up to him. "Hey dude, are you enjoying yourself?"
"I am." Dave replies. "Maybe seeing Amy get hosed improved the party a lot. Thanks for caring though."
"I won't forget how we bonded." Brody says.
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?" a voice yells. Ms. Martin walks in with a shocked look at the wild party going on.
And that's it! Nothing really important happened here lol. Credit to Joel Connell for the idea of having Ms. Martin and Kelly speak. You guys can give suggestions for Loser's Lounge, the ones I got are fun ideas and I could always use more.
See you next time as the remaining 50 contestants continue their quest for 10 million dollars.
