"Last time on Total Drama Ultimate… the Ruby Team bonded while on tour of a chicken nugget factory. Eva was disappointed about Ryan's departure on the Amber Team as Bowie Mary and Staci Sierra forged connections. The Queen's Quest 2.0 alliance already began to show cracks, as Taylor/Sadie and Anne Maria/Dakota/Blaineley began throwing shade. On Amethyst, the former Red Team and the Operation: TYTO alliances began recruiting members. On Sapphire, a fun game of chicken was played, resulting in Emma and Wayne bonding even more. Elsewhere, Jen tried to form a bond with Chase by bro talking with him. On Emerald, Axel, Nichelle, and Shawn bonded while hunting. Tammy, Sammy, and Leshawna bonded while picking berries. On the opposite side of the spectrum, Duncan and Harold only continued to grow apart as Harold felt Duncan would be a bad influence on Junior. In the end, the Ruby and Amethyst teams lost the challenge. B tried to blindside Dawn for knowing about his gameplay, but Tyler and Raj informed her of this, causing the tables to turn on our silent fella in a 7-2 vote. On Amethyst, Operation: TYTO managed to suss out who the majority alliance would be voting for, causing Chet to finally take his revenge on a Yellow Team member by booting Crimson. Now we have made it a special stage of the game, we started with 100, but now only 50 remain! Who will go home? Find out on this episode of Total… Drama… Ultimate!"

Cut to Amethyst Team
Everyone on the Amethyst Team is sitting together, but there are four on one side of the group, and four on the other. "So… the battle lines are drawn?" Courtney questions rhetorically.
"Yup." Chet replies. "We got rid of your evil goth ally, so haha!"
"Evil? What did Crimson do?" Bridgette asks.
"Exist."

"Last night was a disaster! The lines on this team are very clearly drawn in the sand. On the bright side, I have full confidence that any of us could beat any of them in a tiebreaker if we lose again. I just have to make sure they don't get the idol."

"Last night was NOT a disaster! I finally took out a Yellow Team member. Lorenzo, I hope you're proud of me from the Loser's Lounge."

The two groups split apart and began to talk separately. We first cut to Operation: TYTO, with Chet, Dwayne, Scarlett, and MK. "Alright, so we got our first target out… too bad Ryan is also gone." Chet frowns in disappointment.
"Ryan? Who cares about him? If anything, it increases our odds of winning the challenges." Scarlett replies.
"He was an original member of this alliance, he just couldn't make it to reunite with us." Chet responds with a sad look.
"How tragic." Scarlett deadpans, though her face looks a bit annoyed in a way MK notices.

"Did Scarlett need to be blatantly told that she's a tagalong in this group?"

"It's interesting how out of the loop I am on the motivations of this alliance, but it was good for me to stick with them for the last vote."

We now see Jo, Brick, Bridgette, and Courtney.
"That worked out well." Jo comments. "It was totally a good idea to listen to Crimson."
"You agreed to it, not sure why you're upset." Brick replies.
"Did I say I was upset, or did you just assume?" Jo glares.
Courtney realizes that tension may be brewing, and she steps in. "Calm down guys, we can regroup."

"Courtney is right, but losing a soldier is still disappointing."

"Yeah, I'm annoyed that I joined an alliance that instantly flopped, but that isn't a shocker considering who is the leader of it all."

Cut to Ruby Team
We see Tyler and Raj sitting together in the morning. Raj looks to be carving into a flat piece of wood. Tyler decides to make conversation. "So.. about last night, I'm surprised that the vote was so lopsided." Tyler says regarding B's elimination the previous night.
"Wasn't that our goal?" Raj asks.
"Yes, but I didn't expect it to work! That's something that Heather or someone smart would do… no offense, but we're…" Tyler doesn't even need to finish for the implication to be made clear.
"Right…" Raj grimaces at the shade. "But we managed to not let someone villainous get away with a plan, so we should be proud."
"I am, I just never thought I'd be anything more than a pawn…" Tyler admits somewhat quietly. This gets Raj's full attention.
"What do you mean?" Raj questions.
"Well… for the past few years, I've just felt like Lindsay's shadow." Tyler sighs. "Even in this game so far, I would legit just get ignored so people could talk to her. I never really thought I'd be able to do anything in this game."
Raj gives a sympathetic look. "Do you still feel like a second fiddle?"
Tyler hesitates. "Even though she's gone, kind of. What Josee said to me still repeats in my head, no one cares about me when I'm not with Lindsay. I feel like she's right about that…"
"That's not true!" Raj interjects. "Lindsay seems nice and all, but is she an extreme athlete like you?"
"No…"
"Is she still in the game?"
"No…"
"Does she have a viral video with Alejandro?"
"No, but I don't either."
Raj decides not to alert Tyler to THAT video's existence. "You get the point, there are a lot of things about you that aren't just Lindsay related. Don't try to compare yourself to the people you're close to, it's a bad mindset… I know from experience."
"You do? How did you get over it?" Tyler asks.
"I wouldn't say that I'm 100% over it, but realizing that the people we love want to be around us for a reason, despite our self doubts, helped me a lot." Raj explains. "I may not be as good as Wayne or Bowie, and you're not as famous as Lindsay, but we still have value and things that are unique to us. Just remember that. You made it to the halfway mark, you're doing something right!"
Tyler smiles. "...thank you, I needed to hear that." he scoots over to give Raj a side hug.

"I didn't want Tyler to feel the way that I felt in this game… but I really like him, he's super nice. Also to all the people who say he's too clumsy, I've only seen him slip twice, so ha!"

Sugar is watching on from a distance. "EWWWWW… men hugging is offensive."
"Why?" Dawn suddenly appears from behind her.
"AH, A WITCH!" Sugar yells out. She grabs a stick from the ground and points it towards Dawn, who just raises an eyebrow. "Why aren't ya dying?"
"I'm not a witch, and even if I was, sticks are used on vampires." Dawn explains.
"Fuck!" Sugar snaps the stick in half. "Anyways, what are you doing here?"
"You seem to be upset at those two talking." Dawn says.
"Well I just… I don't get it." Sugar says. "This friendship mumbo jumbo doesn't sit right with me! We're all gonna have to cut each other's throats eventually, why waste time on being friends if it won't even last."
"Just because your mother instilled a toxic mindset of not trusting anybody for pageants doesn't mean you can't try to see why others would make friends." Dawn replies.
"EXCUSE ME?" Sugar booms. "Don't act like you know me or my family, cause you don't!"
"I just-"
"Shut it, hippie! You're only still here because of me, so don't be disrespectful."

"Some people never want to reflect on the toxic parts of their life." Dawn frowns.

"Who does that girl think she is? Just saying that crap about my family, it ain't her concern! And as far as I'm concerned, that mindset mama gave me has helped me get far in life." Sugar calls out Dawn's invasive way of talking to people.

Elsewhere, we see Lightning sitting alone in the forest. Say it with me: 'He isn't alone for long' as Cody walks up to him.
"Hey… you look mad." Cody notes.
"Why shouldn't I be?" Lightning frowns. "B may not look like it, but he can contribute a lot better than some other teammates, yet he's gone!"
"There are more reasons to vote than just challenge strength." Cody says. "Strategy is important."
"I barely had any strategy, and I won! Maybe y'all need to take a cue from the Lightning!" Lightning retorts.
"Not all of us are as good as you in physical challenges." Cody replies meekly, a little worried about upsetting Lightning with his counters.
"Hit the gym… well, you'll still not be as good as me, but you can try!" Lightning says.
"You weren't even a target, and I doubt you will be if we lose again. We only lost the last challenge because of luck, why are you so upset about this?" Cody questions.
"Lightning ain't a loser! My dad raised me to be a winner, he was so confident to the point he bet his rings on me winning, and I delivered!" Lightning explains.
Cody looks to be thinking. "Oh right. I found that video so weird, why didn't he even look at the screen." Cody chuckles at the memory.
"He usually doesn't ever pay direct attention to me. Even after I won, he was too busy." Lightning uneasily shrugs.
"Your dad ignored you? I know the feeling too well…" Cody quietly says. Those last two sentences have effectively killed the mood, as the duo now just give each other awkward stares. Cody realizes this. "I guess I should just… go now. Bye!"

We see Taylor, Dakota, and Anne Maria sitting together at camp. "Guys, I have to tell you something." Taylor says.
"It's okay to be lesbian, we still support you anyways." Anne Maria puts a hand on Taylor's shoulder.
"What?" Taylor looks confused. "No, it's about Sadie."
Taylor throws up.
"EW!" Dakota recoils.
"Sorry, the thought of Sadie caused me to vomit." Taylor apologizes. "So, a few days ago she came up to me and started shrieking in the most annoying way possible. It made me think… why don't we get rid of her? Queen's Quest could be a lot better if she wasn't a part of it, I can't deal with EEK EEK EEK for a long time."
Anne Maria and Dakota share a glance. "Well, I wouldn't exactly cry if Sadie left, but don't you have a grudge against Trent for voting you… four times now? I would think that you'd want to take him out." Dakota states.
"I do, but he's not exactly a good player. We can work with him and Scott to take out Sadie." Taylor says.
"Trent wouldn't trust us, we've been on opposite sides this whole game." Anne Maria replies.
"He wouldn't trust us, but I do know someone he hasn't had any beef with." Taylor looks at Dakota.

"Ooh, am I about to get my spotlight?"

"It's simple. Anne Maria and I's connection to Dakota in particular isn't obvious, she just needs to form an alliance with Trent and Scott since she doesn't have any issues with them." Taylor explains her plan. "She could pretend that she's working with them, but in reality her loyalty will be to Anne Maria and I."

We see the duo of Mary and Sky picking berries. "These don't look very fresh." Sky frowns. "Chris must have blown the budget on hair gel or something, so he can't get good berries."
"Chris isn't the brightest around, that sounds possible." Mary comments.

"I hate these people so much."

"Anyways, something interesting happened during the challenge yesterday." Sky says.
"What is it?" Mary raises an eyebrow.
Sky pulls out the mystery advantage. "Jo gave me this during the last challenge."
"What is that?"
"It's some kind of mystery advantage that the details only get revealed at final five. I'm shocked she gave it to me, Jo's a really competitive person. The rules say you could lend it after your elimination to someone still in the game, I thought she'd try to hold on to the advantage until the bitter end." Sky explains. "I wouldn't give it away unless I was eliminated."

"That's odd for Jo to do." Mary comments. "But the more advantages in our corner, the better."
"Exactly." Sky agrees.

"I told Mary about my advantage because she's my #1 ally. Might as well keep her in the loop about what's going on. That's what a true ally does!"

Elsewhere, we see Eva and Sierra sharing a tense glance as they eat some fruit. Izzy notices this.
"Izzy doesn't want to see you guys have bad blood!" Izzy third person narrates her name. "I need you guys to talk out your problems like… right now!"
"Well, I'm not happy in general on this team because I know I'm a target." Eva bluntly states.
"You voted for me last time and I know you want to do it again, so I do not trust you at all. No offense." Sierra responds.
"You had a majority against me!" Eva shouts.
"Because you had an obvious alliance with the Daters. What were we supposed to do, just let you guys pick us off?" Sierra questions.
Eva doesn't have a response, but Izzy has some input. "So, are you guys besties now that you explained what's wrong?"
"NO!" both yell out at the same time.
"But you said 'no' together, that's a clear sign of friendship." Izzy frowns.
"It isn't." Eva rolls her eyes.

"I don't know where that sudden burst of wanting us to get along came from, but I don't like it."

"I'm not much of a prank artist, but this could be fun." Jen smirks from behind a tree. She told Chase about her problems with Justin and MacArthur, so Chase suggested they prank them to get back at them. 10/10 idea. "Justin is going to scream when this mud gets all over him, I can't wait to hear it!"
"Good thing you're on board to prank, I've been thinking too much recently. A prank could be good to clear my head a little!" Chase says. The camera pans over to a trap. If someone walks into the tripwire on the ground, a bucket of mud that is hanging from a tree will pour all over them.
"So, should we lure Justin and MacArthur in?" Jen asks. "You're the expert here, so I'll take your advice."
"We should. How should we get them here?"
"Say that moisturizer and donuts are nearby, I don't know." Jen shrugs.
"Ok, let me go find them-"
"AHHHHHHHHHHHH!" they hear a scream. They turn around to see Emma covered in mud. "This is disgusting!"
"Emma?" Chase steps out from behind the tree. She looks at Chase and growls.
"Are you kidding me? You're doing more of your stupid pranks?" Emma complains.
"Emma, I-"
"For a moment I thought I could walk around camp without worrying about a jump scare or prank, but I guess that I was hoping for too much!" Emma rants.
"I didn't mean to-"
"You clearly did." Emma stomps away.

"Chase is so annoying, now I'll have to wash all this disgusting mud off!"

Jen awkwardly steps out from behind the tree once she knows for sure that Emma is gone, as she did not want to also bear her wrath. "I think she's mad." Jen unhelpfully says.
"You think?"
"Well yeah, she stomped away." Jen misses the sarcasm. MacArthur walks in and notices the mud on the ground.
"What happened here?"
"Nothing!" both Chase and Jen say. MacArthur narrows her eyes, but she ultimately chooses to say nothing before making her exit.
"We should've gotten her, not Emma." Jen frowns.
"Urgh, now this will decrease the chances of her listening to me even more!" Chase looks annoyed.
"Listen to you about what?"
"Let me explain."

"Emma's lowkey crazy, I'm not sure why he would want to get back with her. I doubt she'd take him back even if he did apologize, especially after the mud thing. But maybe, I can get myself involved."

Chase shakes his head in annoyance at what just transpired. "That prank would've been so epic if it hit Justin."

We see DJ and Justin in camp. Justin is glaring at DJ. DJ notices this. "Do you have a problem?"
"Yes, of course I do." Justin says. "You were a horrible bystander during the game of chicken!"
DJ does a double take. "Excuse me?"
"You should've said something when Emma scratched my eye, look at it! It's hideous!" Justin frowns.
DJ gives an annoyed glance to the camera.

"There is literally nothing there, he's been dramatic."

We cut to Chris standing in an open field. The Sapphire, Emerald, Amber, and Gold teams walk in and make their way to their team mats. A moment later, the Ruby team enters. "Getting your first look at the new Ruby Team… B voted out at the last elimination."
Confessional: Millie
"B is gone?" Millie asks in shock. "He wasn't ever a target back on Orange, I wonder what happened… and now I've lost another ally… yay."

Once the Ruby Team is settled in, the Amethyst Team enters. "Getting your first look at the new Amethyst Team… Crimson voted out at the last elimination."

"We weren't ever friends, but that sucks to hear."

"Okay final 50, it's time for today's challenge… which will actually take place later today, but you'll have some time to practice beforehand. When you guys were making your way over here, some horses were brought to each camp. You're going to practice riding around on them, and the challenge later today will be a horse race!" Chris explains.
"Couldn't this have just been an intercom announcement? Why make us walk here?" Mary questions.
"Mary, if you question me again I'm going to…" Chris takes a deep breath to calm down. "Whatever. Head back to camp to get prepared. You'll have four hours."

"Horses and I don't get along… or birds… or attack dogs… maybe I just need to stay away from animals!"

Cut to Sapphire Team
We see nine horses, perfect for everyone to practice with. "We're going to dominate this challenge!" Chase cheers.
"Are you good with horses?" Kitty inquires.
"He had a lot of prank videos with horses… you don't want to know what he did with them." Emma sighs.
"He rode them to a butchery, I remember that story from our first season." Millie says.
"You pranked a horse?" DJ asks in confusion.
"That's not the point, let's get practicing." Jen says. She walks up to a white horse. "I'm taking this one, it's the prettiest, even though it kind of smells."
The horse gives her a glare, causing Jen to gulp. DJ walks up to another horse and pets it. "We're going to do great in this challenge, I believe in you." he says in a soothing voice.
MacArthur laughs. "You're talking to a horse?"
"What's wrong with that?"
"It looks weird when you're using a nice voice. Horses need authority, just watch." MacArthur says before walking to one. "YOU, ON THE GROUND!"
The horse ignores her.
"I SAID-"
The horse kicks dirt into her eyes.

"I would choose dogs over these damn horses any day of the week."

We see Millie, Wayne, and Kitty talking. "Have you ever rode a horse?" Kitty asks them.
"Nope." Millie shakes her head.
"I have." Wayne answers.
"Same, I even did it on this show… that challenge didn't end too well for me." Kitty frowns while thinking of the Argentina round of the Ridonculous Race. "But that's in the past, hopefully this goes better."

"There is no way for the Ice Dancers to put grease on anything, after all."

"I hope it goes better for me as well, I got kicked by a horse before." Wayne repeats the story from the Rematch finale. He looks over and sees Emma. Wayne walks over to Emma, the latter is struggling to get on her horse as it keeps moving. "Need a boost?"
"That would be helpful." Emma nods. Wayne gives her a boost, allowing her to get on her horse. "Thank you!"
"You're welcome, Em." Wayne replies. Chase and Jen notice this interaction.

Jacques squeals in excitement. "I love riding horses, I'm the best at it."
"Doubt." Blaineley inputs snarkily.

"I got lucky with this challenge, every farmer should know what they're doing with a horse."

"I remember horses being involved in the Western challenge in action." Trent says.
"Didn't you flop that episode?" Blaineley questions.
"...well, I wasn't eliminated in it. That has to count for something." Trent shrugs.
Sadie notices a horse that is laying down. "EEK, I want that one!" she says before running up to it.
"Uh, Sadie, you might want to-" Jacques tries to warn before Sadie jumps on the horse full force.
The horse makes an ugly sound of pain as everyone gasps. "Ok, get up!" Sadie says. The horse groans in pain. "EEK, get up horse! I have to practice!"
"Sadie, what the fuck? Why would you just jump on a horse like that!" Scott yells.
"What? It's being lazy, like OMG get up!" Sadie replies.
"Get off of it!" Anne Maria shouts. Sadie sighs and gets up.
"That horse is broken! I'll just get a different one!" Sadie smiles. She sees another horse and runs up to it, but it runs away before she can jump on it as well, causing her to land on her tailbone.

"Nichelle, weren't you the star of Wild West Wisconsin? You should dominate this challenge." Junior states as everyone looks at the selection of animals.
"Wow, thank you for remembering that movie." Nichelle replies. "That is one of my most underrated films, I totally ate up those stunts."
"It was one of my favorites, of course I'd remember." Junior says.
"What was your overall favorite?" Nichelle questions. Before Junior could answer, Harold walks up.
"Did you know that you filmed five movies in the month of May?" Harold randomly questions.
"...yes, of course I would remember what I did in my job." Nichelle flatly states.
"I was just asking, GOSH."

"Is it just me, or is Harold like… really annoying. Anyways, Junior seems like a good kid, though maybe I am biased. I love my fans after all!"

Harold walks away and gets on a horse. He flexes to Leshawna for some reason, but he isn't on the horse for long as Duncan's bumps into Harold's, causing the geek to fall off. "Ow! Watch where you're going, Duncan!" Harold angrily says.
"That was an accident." Duncan rolls his eyes. "I didn't tell the horse to do that."
"Do you expect anyone to believe that?" Leshawna questions.
"No, but I'm telling the truth." Duncan replies.
"Sure, we totally believe you." Leshawna glares.

"I could literally just breathe and these people would get on my ass about it." Duncan complains. "Even Sugar and Blaineley weren't this insufferable, you know it's bad when the 14 year old is the only one who doesn't hate your guts."

"Ow…" Harold groans in pain. "He'll get what's coming to him, if it's the last thing I ever do!"
Harold takes a moment to think about the wording he just used, causing him to laugh. "Wow, I should totally make a boyfriend kisser remix!"

Elsewhere, we see Shawn and Axel. "Alright bucko, you better be good. If there is a zombie outbreak in the middle of this challenge, I will need you to escape quickly." Axel tells her horse. Shawn notices this and smiles while leaning down to whisper to his.
"You hear that? Same goes for you, don't become a zombie horse!" Shawn whispers. He raises his voice to talk to Axel. "Thanks for the idea!"
"You're welcome, we can never be too prepared, right?"
"Of course not!"

"Axel has been really cool so far, it's nice to have someone that is fully aware of the world we live in. Anyone who says that zombies aren't real is insane, like wake up sheeple!"

"Heather and I were on good terms, but I wouldn't say we ever were best friends or anything. I'm not saying that Shawn will be that, but we have a lot of things in common."

Tammy has her horse running around the camp. Sammy looks impressed as Tammy comes to a stop. She walks up to the fellow 'ammy' and starts some conversation. "You're doing great, how did you get so good at this?" Sammy questions.
"Back home, Leonard, myself, and a few of our friends would go out and roleplay knight battles. We would ride horses on our friend Gisele's farm, it would distract me from my home life for hours." Tammy explains. "Do you want some pointers?"
"Sure! My only horse experience was years ago. We got invited to our grandma's ranch. Amy and I rode a horse together. She shoved me into the horse shit, so you can imagine how positive the experience was." Sammy shudders at the memory.
"Oh… I'm sorry- but not shocked- to hear that." Tammy responds.
"I doubt anyone is." Sammy responds. "But yeah, I hope you can teach me a thing or two."

"I won't." Cody nods. They look over to Dawn, who is touching all the horses and talking to them. "Uh, what are you doing?"
"I'm trying to send positive vibes to these horses, we want them to feel motivated and ready to help us win the challenge." Dawn smiles.
Lightning looks a bit bewildered. "That's weird, but if it helps us win, keep at it!"
Sugar rolls her eyes at this, as does Josee. "I doubt that matters."
"Wow, being polite is a red flag to you, how shocking." Tyler comments. Josee resists the urge to scream.

"She said she liked belle bottom jeans, can you believe it?" Anne Maria asks Taylor.
"Yes, that witch is on death's door, of course she would like those in 2026. My mom is even worse." Taylor says.
"Are you two going to practice?" Trent questions the talkative duo.
"We are, ugh." Anne Maria glares.
"MY HORSE IS BACK UP!" Sadie yells. She runs up to the horse and jumps back onto it, causing it to fall down again. "Darn, this thing is so weak!"

"Ok, I think I'm ready to practice." MK says uneasily while on the horse.
"Alright, good luck!" Dwayne cheers. He punches the horse in the side to get it going, which was clearly the wrong thing to do. The horse kicks Dwayne in the stomach, causing him to fly back into Brick. The horse goes crazy, causing MK to cling on for dear life.
Unfortunately for her, if this was life or death, she would be dead as she's flung into the lake.

"Oops… keep me away from any animal that you can ride! At least this season, I know not to slap the animal until they collapse!" Dwayne refers to the camel incident in the Ridonculous Race.

Elsewhere, we see Jo and Scarlett talking. "We need to talk." Jo says.
"What do you think we're doing right now?" Scarlett replies.
"Oh… we're talking." Jo realizes.
"Exactly. Anyways, what do you need?" Scarlett asks.
"Do you feel close to your alliance?" Jo questions.
"Oh, I see where this is going." Scarlett interrupts. "You want to know if there's a crack in my alliance because you think that you're on the bottom of your own due to the others having the same phase 1 team?"

"Pretty much." Jo replies. "I think I have a good idea. We remain as a part of our alliances, but we should have a deal of our own."
"I can be down for that." Scarlett agrees. "I know that I'm on the bottom of my alliance too."

We see Sky, Staci, Mary, Bowie, and Noah all together. "We've been practicing for a while, do you think we can win?" Bowie asks.
"Probably, how bad can we be?" Noah asks.
"If Sierra was here, she would be slandering you for possibly jinxing us." Mary notes.
"What does Sierra know?" Bowie questions.
"A lot." Mary responds.
"I would rather not risk jinxing us anyways." Sky says.
"Don't worry, we're going to win a horse riding challenge with no struggle! My great great great great great great great great grandma Josephine invented horses! Before her-"
"How did she invent horses?" Sky cuts off with a confused look.
"She birthed one!" Staci replies, causing the foursome to give each other worried glances.
"Uh… how?" Noah asks, though he wonders if he'll regret doing so.
"She-"
"And that's enough of that." Mary cuts off.

Every team makes their way to their team mats, but their horses got transferred with them this time. "Welcome everyone, it is time to really start today's challenge! But… there is a bit of a twist."
"What is it?" Noah asks.
"Can't you let me finish? You guys would be able to get information from me a lot quicker if you weren't so keen on interrupting." Chris glares. "Anyways, I made it seem like that everyone would be participating in this challenge. In reality, only two people from each team will be racing!"
Everyone gasps.
"Can we pick?" Dakota asks.
"No." Chris replies. "Why do I always get asked, I never let you pick. Anyways, let's see who will be competing in the horse race!"

"It's time to start, everyone get ready!" Chris ignores her. "The course will be a simple straight line with some obstacles in your path. The last two teams to have their representatives cross will be up for elimination, and one person on each of those teams will have their dreams crushed later tonight. Now, get prepared!"

We see everyone on their horses, except for Sadie. "Sadie, can you please hurry up? We can't keep these horses all day!"
"Aren't they robots?" Noah asks.
"Nope, we are borrowing these from the Graham family farm." Chris says. Sadie goes to jump on the horse, but the horse is aware of her tricks this time, and it kicks her in the face. Some people gasp at this as Sadie screams. "You know what? I'm tired of waiting, GO!"

Sky, Tammy, Jo, Alejandro, Josee, and Jacques are leading the pack. Sky is in first. "Try hard…" Josee mutters, quite the hypocritical statement on her end. The horses all jump over some hurdles and rocks that are in the way. Sky, Tammy, and Jo pull ahead, leaving Alejandro and the Ice Dancers together.
"Jacques." Alejandro says coldly. Jacques shivers as he looks towards him.
"Uh… hey, Al!" Jacques greets, causing Alejandro to return the shudder.
"Do not call him that." Josee reprimands.
"Sorry…" Jacques frowns. "What do you need?"
"What do you think we want to talk to you about?" Josee rolls her eyes at Jacques' fake naivety. "We heard everything in the Truth or Dare challenge loud and clear, you betrayed Heather."
"I…"
"You betrayed our alliance!" Alejandro says angrily.
"I wasn't even there when you formed it, you just added me on at the last minute! I should be allowed to play the game the way I want to!" Jacques snaps, causing Josee to flinch.
"We're partners, we should play this game together!" Josee retorts.
"You didn't even pick me to join your team, you chose Alejandro!" Jacques yells in anger. "You of all people cannot be saying that. I had other allies before Heather that were a priority to work with. We may be partners on the ice, but out here, I can do whatever the hell I want!"
"Well fine, if you want to be enemies, we will see who comes out on top!" Josee shouts.
"Fine!"
"Fine!"
"Fine." Alejandro calmly adds, getting weird looks from the Olympic champions.

"At least I know for sure that Jacques is going to be a mainstay in the enemy category. No one votes out Heather and gets away with it… other than me of course, but I am a special case!" Alejandro gives a smirk to the camera. "If I have the chance to send Jacques home, I will take the opportunity."

"I am tired of people getting mad at me for making decisions. Josee did not pick me, then she had the gall to get mad that we weren't playing together… bitch, it's your own fault we didn't! Josee sighs. "Maybe I have made some mistakes about our partnership, now that bridge is burned. But like usual, I will come out on top."

We cut to Sky and Jo in the lead. "So, thanks for the advantage." Sky smirks.
"You're welcome." Jo replies, not too concerned about giving a long response as she has a race to focus on.
"Can I ask you something?"
"I'd prefer if you could ask me at a better time, but since we're in the lead, go right ahead." Jo says.
"Why did you give me the advantage in the first place? You're super competitive and everything, you seem like the type that would horde advantages if anything." Sky asks.
"I wanted to show that I trust you." Jo replies. "We know each other outside the game, and you seemed pretty cool then. I want to work together in this game!"

"I will leave out all the other reasons, I sound a lot nicer using that trust argument or whatever."

Sky smiles. "Thanks, I'll keep that in mind. You'll get to see what a great competitor I am when I get first in this race!"
Tammy's horse carries her to their level after jumping over an obstacle. "Hi!"
"How are you doing so well?" Jo questions.
"I'm good with horses." Tammy beams.
The trio hear a faint scream in the distance. "Come on Tammy, you're doing great, get first place!" Harold yells, trying to encourage his teammate from a distance.
"Thank you, I'm going there!" Tammy yells back. Her horse pulls ahead of Jo and Sky, and she turns her head towards them. "See you in the finish line!"
Tammy turns around to see a branch. She isn't able to stop herself from hitting it. "AHHHH!" This causes her and the horse to slow down. Sky and Jo duck these branches quite easily, causing them to pass Tammy in short order. Jo turns to Tammy.
"Goodbye loser, see you at the finish line!" she yells.

We cut to Sadie, still at the starting line.
"You got this, Sadie!" Trent tries to encourage.
"You haven't completely flopped yet, don't give up!" Dakota adds.
"It's so over…" Anne Maria sighs.
"I'll try to get on the horse again, that will work!" Sadie mumbles. She walks up to the horse and gets kicked in the face again.

Millie, Harold, and Justin are trailing behind Bowie and Bridgette. We see Bowie and Bridgette. "So… what's your favorite color?" Bowie asks.
"Blue." Bridgette responds. "How about you?"
"Purple!"
"Wow, that's cool!" Bridgette exclaims.
"Why are we talking about our favorite colors during the challenge?" Bowie suddenly questions.
"I… have no idea. Good point, maybe we should focus." Bridgette says.

We cut to Millie, Harold, and Justin. "GOSH, I thought I would be doing better than this!" Harold complains.
"Horse riding is for uggos, I am not shocked that I'm failing." Justin shakes his head.
"Justin, we are probably going to lose!" Millie worries.
"Don't worry, we just need to stay ahead of Harold, then we're good." Justin gives a reassuring smile.
"I'm right here!" Harold says.
"I don't care." Justin replies.
"Wow, what happened to drama brothers' unity?" Harold questions.
"I don't care about that during the challenge, not sorry."
"GOSH, can't you be apologetic?"

"I lost many brain cells during that conversation. Please send some money to the funeral of those brain cells!" she jokes.

We cut to the finish line as Jo and Sky tie for first, with Tammy right behind them. Jo and Sky share a respectful look, while Tammy looks proud of herself for the good placement. Right after, Alejandro, Jacques, and Josee cross.
"FIRST PLACE, WE GOT THE GOLD!" Josee cheers loudly. "When it isn't luck, we always deliver!"
She and Alejandro share a hug as Chris repeats that Emerald won from the finish line.
"Wait a second Chris, how did you get here?" Tammy asks. "Weren't you at the starting line?"
"Tammy, the secrets of this show are none of your concern." Chris responds. "Anyways, neither Sapphire Team member has crossed, and the Emerald, Amethyst, Amber, and Gold Teams just need one more person to finish this challenge. Let's see who will make it!"

Just seconds later, Bridgette followed by Bowie cross the line. The duo share a high five. "The Amethyst and Amber teams are safe! Since Sadie is still at the starting line, we can assume that the Gold Team is not winning this challenge. Justin and Millie need to finish before Harold if the Sapphire Team wants to win."
"Come on, Harold…" Tammy says to herself.
We cut to Millie, Justin, and Harold. Harold is slightly behind the two as they see the finish line just in sight.
"Come on, we can't lose our lead!" Justin yells.
"I'm trying not to!"
"Come on horse, you got this!" Harold encourages his horse to pass them. The three of them make it to the finish line and…
"Justin followed by Harold followed by Millie! That means that the Emerald Team is the last team safe tonight. I will be seeing the Sapphire and Gold teams at tonight's campfire ceremony, where we will determine 50th and 49th place!"

Sadie gives a thumbs up before Blaineley and Jacques walk away. "You were lying, right?" Jacques questions.
"You bet I am, she needs to go after that awful performance." Blaineley responds.
The duo share a mutual content look as they go to find the others.

Elsewhere, Scott and Trent are talking. Scott is drawing with a stick. "Do you think we will get targeted? They can't be stupid enough to keep Sadie after all that she did to drag the team down today, right?"
"I wouldn't be shocked if they were that stupid. Even if they got rid of Sadie, they would still have a 5-2 majority over us. There are zero drawbacks to keeping us in." Trent replies.
"Oh, I know." a voice says. The boys turn their heads to see Dakota. "I don't want Sadie around either."
"Really?" Scott asks skeptically.
"I need to be honest with you guys… I know we haven't talked much, but that majority alliance isn't going to last, and I don't have a good position within it." Dakota says. "I can try to convince the others to get rid of Sadie tonight, then I can be a secret agent who secretly works with you."
Both guys looked shocked. "Are you serious?" Scott asks.
"Yes, I think I made a mistake booting Ezekiel and I want to rectify that tonight."

"Yeah, she's useless and we have a majority either way." Anne Maria adds.
"Alright, so it's locked in!"

We see Emma, Kitty, and Wayne together in the forest. "Guys, this might shock you who I want to target tonight." Emma says.
"Wait, she isn't targeting Chase?!" Kitty thinks.
"I want to target Chase." Emma says. Wayne gasps.

"I know, shocker." Emma states. "But we should try to eliminate him."
"That's fine with me." Kitty says. "He's kind of… not the best person."
"Well, I guess I'm in." Wayne agrees.
"We need to get some more people on board." Emma says. "Who do you think we can get?"
"I have someone in mind." Kitty smiles.

"I've been friendly with Millie as of late, maybe I could get her and DJ to also vote Chase out."

Justin and MacArthur are talking by the lake. "So, we're going to target Jen?" Justin asks.
"You know it!" MacArthur replies with enthusiasm. "She's going to pay for working with Lindsay and Tyler!"
"And working against me for over a month, like how do you even do that?" Justin questions.
MacArthur ignores this. "Who should we get to vote with us? I'm pretty sure Wayne, Kitty, and Emma will be voting for Chase, so we can't get them."
"Wait… shouldn't we just vote Chase to guarantee that we're safe?"
"If you want to take the weak and safe route, then by all means. If you want to get a major threat to your game out, then you'll target Jen." MacArthur replies.
Justin takes a deep breath. "I- I guess you're right. Chase and Jen seem friendly, so we just should go after Millie and DJ for a plurality."
"Smart thinking." MacArthur nods.

"I know Sanders told me not to play risky, but think of it like this: If Chase is still here, this is always going to be a conflict between him and Emma. If we boot Jen and keep Chase another round to boot him then, the last seven on this team would have an obvious trio that would force Millie and DJ to work with us. It's risky, but if it pays off it guarantees that Justin and I survive multiple votes."

We see Chase and Jen. "So, like… you might be fucked, but who should we target?"
"Wayne?" Chase suggests.
"Why?" Jen asks. "I thought I asked a rhetorical question, it should obviously be Justin."
"Justin? That makes no sense."
"He's an opp, dude!" Jen explains in a Chase like way of talking.
"Ohhhh, I get it! No one likes an opp!" Chase says.
"Exactly. But two votes won't be enough, and we already know three people will be voting for you. Justin and MacArthur are voting for me, so getting DJ and Millie is our only chance of surviving this elimination ceremony." Jen says.
"Then we need to get them on board!"

DJ and Millie seem to be having a calm day. With the barrage of voting offers they're about to get, that won't last for long.
"HEY!" MacArthur shouts as she runs up to the now startled duo.
"Uh… hi, how are you?" DJ greets after recovering from the near heart attack MacArthur gave him.
"You guys need to vote Jen. NOW!" MacArthur demands loudly.
"We will!" Millie quickly says.
"Good." MacArthur walks off.
DJ and Millie turn to each other. "Are we?" DJ asks.
"I don't know, do we even have a real reason to target Jen?" Millie asks.
"I don't think so, but it could get us into a four person alliance with MacArthur and Justin if we do." DJ says.
"Hm, good point."

Kitty walks up to the duo. "Hey Millie, hey DJ!"
Both smile. "Hi!" DJ greets.
"Okay, so we need to talk about the vote tonight. Emma, Wayne, and I are going to be voting Chase for obvious reasons. I hope that you guys will join us. I'm not saying you have to, but it'd be ideal." Kitty pitches. "I hope you consider this!"
"We will." DJ says.
"Thanks a bunch." Kitty states before walking off.
"Wow, another pitch, hehe…" Millie nervously laughs as some intruding thoughts begin flooding her mind.

"Hey!" Jen walks up to them.

"Is everyone just obsessed with us today?"

"Hi." Millie greets.
"So-"
"We need to talk about the vote?" Millie interrupts, knowing full well what Jen was going to say.
"I… yes, how did you know?" Jen asks in shock.
"Lucky guess." Millie shrugs. "Anyways, who are you going to pitch?"
"Justin, I know he's probably been going around and spreading my name. It makes sense to return the favor." Jen explains her reasoning. "Is that okay with you guys?"
"It is, we will consider it." DJ says.
"Can I raise another offer?" Jen requests.
"Uh, ok!" Millie nods.
"Us three and Chase could form an alliance. That would take up half the team after Justin goes." Jen pitches. "I would like to work with you two, you seem nice enough."
"Thank you!" Millie smiles at the compliment. "Anyways, can you give us some time to discuss?"
"Of course." Jen replies before walking away.

"What the fuck!" Millie exclaims. "We have three separate voting offers, this all comes down to us!"
"That's a lot of pressure, but you're making it sound like it's a bad thing that everyone wants to work with us." DJ raises an eyebrow.
"It's not a bad thing, I just… it's a bit overwhelming. We're going to disappoint people by not voting with them- wait a second! They could target me because of the challenge! What if the seven of them are all actually in a secret alliance and this is some elaborate plan to pull the wool over our eyes to blindside us? What if they're talking and laughing at how stupid we are? What if-"
"Millie." DJ firmly interrupts. "What is wrong with you?"
Millie pauses. "What do you mean?"
"There is no evidence or reason for you to think that everyone is lying, now you're freaking out. You got Caleb out because you freaked out for no reason too, so this is becoming a pattern which is concerning. What's wrong?" DJ asks.
Millie takes a deep breath. "...DJ, I'm scared."
DJ nods. "I've gathered that."
"No, not just of being eliminated… but of how everyone will treat me when this season is over." Millie elaborates.
DJ looks confused. "What do you mean?"
"How did the public respond to you after you competed?" Millie inquires.
DJ shrugs. "It was alright, I wasn't exactly a hot topic or anything. People were upset about the animal curse, but I could not blame them, I was upset as well." he replies.
"When I got back from my first season, I got every negative comment in the book hurled at me. Stuff about how useless I was, things about how I didn't deserve to make it to the finale… that I could handle, I know I wasn't the best player. I also understood people questioning my friendship with Priya, I know I did a lot of things wrong with that. But seeing it repeatedly adds up. For months, all I saw was constant negativity regarding me, and it eventually spiraled into personal attacks about my appearance. I would get death threats and people telling me to die every day." Millie explains.
DJ looks shocked at hearing this. "It was that bad?"
"Yes… and I made things worse by how I acted in Rematch by not reading the training guide and the four point slide incident." Millie says. "I came into this season wanting to play a good game, so no one has a reason to insult me, but I've still been making constant paranoid mistakes like the Caleb boot. I doubt things will get any better once I get home."
"Millie… I don't know what to say…" DJ stumbles on his words.
"That's fine, I just-"
"I now know what to say." DJ says, a quick turnaround on his part. "You shouldn't concern yourself with what people online say, they will say things just to get a reaction out of you. I won't pretend that I know what you went through, as I wasn't constantly slandered, but you need to just focus on the opinions of those who are important. You may have made some mistakes, but if you keep the paranoid attitude, you'll just continue to spiral."
Millie takes his words in. "I know that you're right… it's just really hard sometimes."
"And I get that." DJ replies. "But do you get what I mean?"
"I do… I need to stop being scared and I need to start kicking ass!" Millie vows.
"That's the spirit!" DJ cheers. "Now, who do we vote for?"

"I'm thankful to DJ for sticking by me, even when I didn't deserve it… he's right, it's time to stop letting the opinions of others control my every move!"

"Welcome Gold Team to the elimination ceremony! One of you will be going home. Now, get voting so we will find out who that unlucky reject is!"
We get a quick cut of everyone voting before cutting back to the campfire ceremony
"If anyone has found a hidden immunity idol and wants to play it, now would be the time to do so…"

"Alright. Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will have to leave the campfire ceremony immediately. I'll read the votes."

Trent doesn't react.
"2nd vote… Sadie."
Sadie glares at Trent.
"3rd vote… Sadie. 2 votes Sadie, 1 vote Trent."
Sadie turns her glare to Scott.
"4th vote… Sadie. 3 votes Sadie, 1 vote Trent."
Sadie's eyes widen in shock.
"5th vote… Sadie. That's 4 votes for Sadie, 1 vote for Trent."
Sadie's jaw drops for a second, but she instantly recoils in pain.
"51st person voted out of Total Drama Ultimate… Sadie! That's 5, it's time for you to go."

"EEK- ow! How could you guys do this to me?!" Sadie gasps in shock.
"You're awful at everything." Anne Maria replies.
"And you're annoying." Taylor adds.
Sadie takes a deep breath. "Oh well… I know that even though I didn't win, people are probably talking about me for how I did this season, and that's a big win in my book after not getting any screen time after Katie left back on Wawanakwa. Bad luck to all of you except Trent, bye!"

Sadie- The controversial queen! Ok, everyone might be very confused about her portrayal this season, and it's about time I explain. The first written Total Drama series I made was based on a discord camp I hosted. Sadie's character in that was a joke exaggeration and "EEK" was a meme in the server. I decided to carry that over as some of those people read this story. So, you may be asking: You made Sadie completely fucking annoying for a joke that only specific people understand? You'd be 100% correct, and I have 0 regrets. Everyone getting so mad at her character was hilarious. I'll push back on people who call her a waste of space in Phase 1 though. You may dislike her, but she objectively wasn't. The conflicts around her were a major impact on multiple votes. Also, if she left over Caleb, what would the team even do, just have everyone be friends? Millie throwing Caleb under the bus brought a lot more conflict than an easy 7-2 boot. I get the hate for her though, she was designed to be annoying lol
Justin- RIP! Tbh, Mortal01 singlehandedly extended his stay by giving me the idea to improve his relationship with Anne Maria, so credit to him. I didn't make them actually become lovers because that wouldn't really make sense, but still, they became friends! But in all honesty, Justin was a difficult character to write, and he doesn't bring anything to Sapphire Team compared to everyone else, so he was not long for the game once phase 2 hit.
