Recap
"Last time on Total Drama Ultimate… the Emerald team reeled from their last elimination ceremony. Nichelle decided to leave the people left out of the vote alone so she wouldn't agitate them. Sammy and Harold discussed how Tammy accidentally swayed the votes to Leshawna. Speaking of Tammy, she seems to have relapsed after playing the fake idol that Ella gave to her. Millie insulted me… urgh. Millie and DJ freaked out after seeing MacArthur kill a pig. Jen encouraged Chase to go talk to Emma about his feelings… just as Kitty did the same for Wayne at the same time. Eventually, Chase finally apologized for cutting the brakes to Emma's car. In a somewhat surprising move, Emma didn't take him back. Sugar, Lightning, and Cody talked about barbecue and tartar sauce, the truly important things in life. Josee, with some coaching from Alejandro, apologized to Tyler and Raj. Raj seems okay with it, though Tyler still seems a bit skeptical. Courtney ranted to Brick about how stressful the game has been to her. Chet and MK discussed their Operation: TYTO plan. Jo and Scarlett had a pure business conversation. Noah and Bowie had another discussion, as Sierra, Izzy, and Staci bonded. Dakota still has overconfidence about her acting abilities, meanwhile Blaineley and Jacques continued their rocky duo. The challenge was barely even a challenge, as someone could put their team through two elimination ceremonies in exchange for safety during that vote. Scott took the opportunity to take it, causing Queen's Quest to have to turn on each other. In the end, Dakota and Anne Maria were the victims, leaving the Gold Team as a measly group of four. 60 campers are down and just 40 remain. How will Taylor react to her two closest allies on the Gold Team going home? How will Gold recover from their setbacks? Find out on this episode of Total Drama Ultimate!"

Cut to the Production Tent
"Uh, who are you?" Chris questions a woman who is with him, Chef, and Don in the production tent. "Chef, why did you bring her here?"
"She works for this show." Chef replies.
"Oh, I don't care about the interns." Chris shrugs.
"She's a camerawoman." Don corrects.
"I care about the camera workers even less." Chris says.
"How have you not been canceled-"
"Shut up Don. Now, can you guys explain what's going on?" Chris asks.
"Her name is Layla. She went missing for a while, but she's safe now." Don explains.
"Safety… boring! Anyways Kayla-"
"Um, it's Layla-" Layla tries to correct.
"Whatever. What did you do to get lost? You weren't trying to steal my hairdryer or something, were you?" Chris looks skeptical.
"Uh no, it was because of a contestant." Layla says.
"Huh? Did Scary Girl escape the Loser's Lounge?"
"No, it was Scarlett! I was trying to do my job and she just randomly attacked me and took my uniform!" she replies.
"Of course it was Scarlett, I knew getting her out of jail for this could've been a mistake." Chris shakes his head. "Do we have the evidence that this actually happened though? Don, you would've had to see the footage by now, right?"
"I'm only up to editing episode 18." Don says.
"Just episode 18? You've been slacking, the old editor was a lot faster!" Chris exclaims.
"The old editor didn't have to keep track of so many people. Anyways, we can check the footage of what happened the day you went missing, Layla." Don assures.
Cut to Gold Team
Taylor gives an annoyed look at all of her teammates as they do some tasks. Jacques is returning from getting water, Scott is tending to the fire, and Blaineley is laying down and taking in the sun. These are all equally important and helpful things to be doing.
Jacques crosses paths with Scott and gives him a sharp glare. "What?" Scott crosses his arms.
"Do you really think I'm going to forgive you for costing us two of our teammates?" Jacques asks. Scott decides to ignore him, knowing that replying would just spark a big argument. With a huff, Jacques just walks away. Scott looks at Taylor. "Can we talk?"
"Why?"
"It's important… let's go to the forest." Scott requests. Taylor rolls her eyes, but she goes along with it anyways.
"You do realize that I'm not happy with you either, right? You're the biggest reason the two people I was closest to on this team are gone." Taylor states.
"I know, but you'll need me, so don't stay mad for long." Scott replies.
"What do you mean?" Taylor looks annoyed.
"Blaineley and Jacques have been together all game. You can go with Jacques to get revenge on me if you want, but who will be next?" Scott asks.
"...me." Taylor admits with a sigh.
"Exactly."

"Ugh, he is right. I'm just not here for this, I've never worked with someone so… low class before."

We cut to Chris standing in a big tent. The Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Amethyst, and Amber Teams make their way inside the tent and onto their team mats. Once they're settled in, the Gold Team enters too. "Getting your first look at the new Gold Team… Dakota and Anne Maria were voted out at the last elimination."

"Now the only people remaining from the Green Team are the Forgiveness Alliance. Dakota possibly could've been a problem, so I'm not upset. As for Jacques, it is unfortunate that he is still here."

"Alright, final 40. It's time for today's challenge! Look to your right." Chris says. Everyone looks to their right and sees a bunch of VR helmets.
"Oh, are we doing something interesting?" Kitty questions. "No offense, but your button pressing challenges sucked."
"Rude." Chris glares. "But you're correct. You will be put into a very realistic VR world where each team will have a castle to defend. Each castle has an egg inside of it. Keeping that egg intact is very important, as it is quite literally life or death. Each team's castle will have a money dispenser that can be used to purchase weapons or armor. There is a better money dispenser in the middle that can buy you better items, but you'll likely get in combat if you go there. Anyways, you will try to go to the other team's castles to break their egg. Once a team's egg is broken, any kill will be final."
"Uh, did you just say kill?" Courtney asks nervously.
"Oh yeah, you guys can kill each other! It isn't real, so don't worry. Anyways, if you die after your team's egg is broken, you will be out of the challenge. The first two teams to have all of their teammates permanently dead- and let me remind you, just in the VR world, and will be up for elimination!" Chris finishes explaining.

Cut to Amber Team
We see the Amber Team teleported to an orange castle. "Woah, this is sick!" Izzy exclaims while looking around her.
"Look!" Staci points around. There is a castle, but Staci realizes that they're on a floating island. There is a bridge that leads to the middle part of the island that Chris mentioned earlier. That is the only way to make it to the island, as they are so high up into the sky that they can't even see the ground, so falling would lead to instant death.
"Wow, not being able to see the ground and being scared of falling is so nostalgic." Noah comments regarding World Tour.
"Enough with the past, let's go look in our castle." Mary says. "This thing looks small."
And small it is, as this is far from a huge castle. The egg is on top of the building, and you just have to climb some stairs to reach it.
"What should our game plan be?" Bowie asks.
"We need to protect our egg first, that should be our number one priority. If they can't break the egg, we can keep respawning." Mary states. "We need to see what we could purchase first."
Sierra walks over to the money dispenser. It isn't super quick at the moment, but Sierra looks at a screen that has options on what to buy. "We could get some wood… or we could go to the middle island to try and get some tougher items." Sierra suggests.
"Ooh, we totally should! I could take anyone in a fight!" Izzy cackles.
"I believe that…" Noah mutters.
"I can come with you!" Staci offers. "My great great great great great great great great grandmother Alison was a serial killer, I hope that I have the same killer instincts, haha!"
"Should we sleep with one eye open?" Sierra asks nervously.
"I can't do that, I have a strict sleeping schedule!" Bowie whines.
"Whatever. You two will need a weapon if you go out to the middle." Mary states.
Sierra purchases two sharp wooden swords. Not the best option by any means, but it's better than nothing. She hands the swords to Izzy and Staci. "Go on, make our team proud!"
"Mary, you should probably go with them." Bowie suggests.
Mary raises an eyebrow. "Why?"
"I don't know, half of our team fighting could be a good idea." Bowie replies.
"I highly doubt I'll be effective as a fighter, but fine." Mary relents.

"Not sure why he didn't just suggest Sierra, she's a lot stronger than I am. Seriously, just mention Cody and she will freak out and clean house."

Cut to Emerald Team
"That looks high." Sammy grimaces while looking at the side of their team's floating island.
"I'm so glad this isn't real." Shawn comments.
"What if they did a zombie VR challenge in the future?" Tammy brings up, causing Shawn to gasp.
"They won't do that, will they?!"
"I shouldn't have brought that up." Tammy realizes.
"I want to test dying." Junior says. After this, he runs to the edge of the island and plummets to his 'death'. The team gasps in shock. After a few moments, Junior fades back onto their platform, having recovered from his death. "That was so cool!"
"You weren't scared of falling?" Harold questions.
"If I was actually in danger, maybe I would be." Junior shrugs.
"You're still crazy for that, I wouldn't want to fall off this island." Harold says. Duncan picks him up and throws him to his death, causing a chorus of gasps. After a few moments, Harold recovers with an angry look as Duncan is laughing. "That was not cool, Duncan!"
"Oh come on, that was hilarious, and you're fine anyways."
"Yeah, chill out." Junior agrees, causing Harold to look annoyed.

"He murdered me and no one seemed to care, GOSH!" Harold looks upset. "Junior hanging around Duncan is a bad influence, I was right!"

"This is so cool, the kids at school are going to be so jealous of what I'm doing!"

"Enough fighting." Axel interjects, tired of the shenanigans going on around her. "We need a plan, who thinks they can do well in this challenge?"
Duncan, Shawn, Nichelle, and Tammy raise their hands. "Alright, we need to get you guys some weapons. I'm going to fight too."
As Axel goes to the money dispenser, Nichelle looks towards Tammy as Harold, Junior, and Duncan resume their argument now that Axel is gone. "I didn't take you for a fighter, why are you volunteering?" Nichelle wonders.
"I just have a good feeling about this one."

"Back at home, me and my friends would do sword fights all the time. Of course, we would just lightly tap each other with toy swords since we didn't want anyone to get hurt, but still! I had a lot of fun role playing those scenarios, doing it in a VR world can't be much different." Tammy says before sighing, her face showing some consideration of something.

"I might have an idea." Sammy brings up. "What if we work together with the Sapphire Team?"
"Why?" Nichelle questions, causing Sammy to hide an annoyed expression.
"Because we're the only teams with eight members left. The others might try to team up on us or something, we need strength in numbers." Sammy says.

"I would rather work with the Ruby Team for obvious reasons, but Sammy's pitch does make some sense. We don't need the flop teams like Amber or Gold to target us."

"It seems like common sense for the strong teams to try and have some unity. In hindsight, one of my biggest phase 1 regrets is not forming some alliance with the Lime and Red teams to protect each other, it could've prevented all of my allies from going so early." Sammy frowns.

"YUCK!" Taylor grimaces when Scott tries to hand her a wooden sword. "You think I'm going to fight and risk getting myself killed? I'm too beautiful to do that."
Jacques overhears this and growls at her. "You better try your best, I won't tolerate losing again!"
"Ugh, fine. Can't I just defend our egg instead or something? No one would even try to raid our castle if I was the guard, I'm pretty scary." Taylor says.
"Yeah, the possibility of hearing your voice would make me not want to come here either." Blaineley shades, causing Taylor to glare at her.
"Whatever, I'll just go." Taylor rolls her eyes, rather being somewhere else.
Cut to Amethyst Team
"Alright team, it's very obvious who should take the lead here." Courtney says.
"Me!"
"Me!"
Brick and Jo turn to look at each other.
"I know exactly what we should do to determine who takes charge!" Brick smirks.
"Same." Jo smirks back.
3… 2… 1…
"A pleasant conversation where we politely come to a decision."
"FIGHT FOR IT!"
Jo lunges at Brick, who screams and ducks her oncoming attack, causing her to smash her body in the castle. MK and Chet burst out laughing. "Fighting isn't an acceptable thing to do Jo, we are on the same team. Anyways, I think I should be the captain because I have military experience. This isn't the same thing, but I should know how to lead us to winning a fighting challenge."
"But I-" Jo looks like she wants to argue, but everyone else has looks of agreement, causing her to sigh. "Alright. What's your plan?"

Everyone looks uncomfortable at Sugar's maniacal laughing. "I can finally try slaughtering techniques on REAL people, this is the best day ever!" she cackles.
"I'm scared…" Raj whispers to Tyler.
"Do they do psych evaluations for this show?" Tyler wonders.
"I think it was proved that they didn't." Cody states, overhearing the duo and remembering MK's comment about Scary Girl in TDI 23.
"Alright…" Alejandro decides to talk to Sugar directly. "Since you're so eager, you can be on the offense. Lightning, you can join her. Cody, I'm trusting you to be able to come up with a smart way to protect our egg."
Cody looks shocked. "You do?"
"He's right. If you don't have the brawn, you better bring the brain. You could be like white Cameron!" Lightning adds.

Cody shudders. "I think he meant it in a good way, but that just gave me memories of… you know. Watching Sierra harass Cameron was not fun to watch, let me tell you." Cody laughs awkwardly. "But this is my chance to officially prove myself to Lightning, so I'll take it. I'm shocked that Alejandro of all people would offer to help me."

"In rewatching the seasons before I came out here, I came to the conclusion that Cody is a craftier player than I gave him credit for. His dodgeball trick or carrying his team to victory in Japan come to mind, I'm sure he has an idea."

"I want to make the Gold Team lose." Josee says out of the blue. "It's my main goal for this challenge."
"Why? Shouldn't we go for the big dogs?" Tyler questions.
"It's better to go for a guaranteed victory." Josee replies. Tyler gives an understanding nod.
"Well, before you go, I have an idea." Cody says.
"Yes?" Alejandro questions.
"Why don't we use our connections to the other teams to our benefit. Raj, use your connections to Bowie and Wayne to try and get something going with the Sapphire and Amber teams." Cody suggests.
Alejandro and Lightning look impressed with this idea while Raj smiles. "I can do that!"

"Scrawny one's idea is great, Lightning should use his own connections to help too… oh wait." Lightning realizes he has no friends.

"Are we ready?!" Wayne finishes up a speech to hype up the team.
"WE ARE READY!" everyone except for DJ yells back enthusiastically. Jen notices this.
"Come on DJ, it won't be that bad." Jen assures.
"Yeah, it's just a challenge." Millie adds.
"Don't be a pussy." MacArthur glares.
DJ sighs. "Mama wouldn't approve of me hurting people."
"Mama ain't here, is she?" MacArthur repeats Leshawna's line from TDA. Little does she know…
DJ sighs again. "I don't know… I guess I should help."
"You definitely should help, we can't afford to lose." MacArthur growls. She runs across the bridge without even getting a weapon.
"Wait! We need a plan! You shouldn't… and she's gone." Emma shakes her head.

"I have a plan. Kill everyone. Simple as that."

"Her funeral… literally in this case." Chase laughs, Emma joining in.
"It's VR, but I still find that funny. She's way too hotheaded, like imagine getting mad and aggressive super easily!" Emma chuckles.
"I can't imagine what that's like." Millie says sarcastically. She purchases some wood. "Anyways, who wants to help me out?"
"I can!" Kitty offers. The duo head to the top of the castle and begin to build a little structure around their egg. Kitty, ever the social butterfly, decides to start a conversation. "How are you?"
"Good, just worried about temporarily dying. I wonder if you can feel the pain as if it were real in this VR. If so, then I'll get DJ's fears." Millie shudders at the possibility.
"Chris wouldn't want us to get hurt, right?" Kitty wonders.
"Kitty." Millie gives her a blank stare. "Did you really just ask that?"
Kitty begins laughing. "Yeah, I realize how stupid that sounds now."
Millie joins in. "Imagine a bizzaro world 'nice Chris' or something, that should be the horror themed challenge of the season." Millie suggests. Spoiler alert, this does not happen.
"Yeah, I'd take him over the real Chris. Honestly, I wish Don was the host." Kitty states.
"Studies show that 2% of the population prefer him to Chris, that's why he wasn't chosen to take the main hosting role." Millie says.
"How do you know that?"
"I can be a bit of a statistics nerd at times… I go down rabbit holes finding out some stats on the weirdest things." Millie admits. "Want to know some useless fun facts while we build?"
"Sure!"

"Getting to talk more to Kitty today was a highlight for sure!" Millie smiles. "I was so focused on the game during the Justin boot that I had my eyes on that instead."

"This is a random fact about me, but I just love listening to people ramble about… stuff. I went on a date with this guy, and he just told me everything he knew about watering holes, and I was hooked on every word! I just like listening to what others are passionate about, maybe that's why I get along with Wayne too. So yeah, I got to learn a lot from Millie today!"

We see Izzy holding some currency, as she, Staci, and Izzy were the first to arrive. "Haha, we're so going to win this!" Izzy cackles.
"Let's not get cocky." Mary says. "We don't want to lose this."
"Yeah, doing something stupid and having regrets would be the worst thing we can do." Staci replies.
"Meh, I don't regret that much." Mary shrugs. "Even the sandcastle thing in my season, it hardly affected me."
"People thought I was super devastated to be booted first or lose my hair, but I wasn't." Staci laughs.
"Yeah, I don't regret anything either…" Izzy mutters with a sad tone, causing Staci to raise an eyebrow. There isn't much time to focus on that though, as MacArthur runs in and tackles Mary to ground. She wraps her hands around the nerd's throat and begins to try and squeeze the life out of it. This isn't effective however, as Staci stabs MacArthur in the back with her sword, causing MacArthur to scream. She and Izzy begin to slash MacArthur's body until they know she'll die.

"We should feel way more uncomfortable, that looks scarily realistic." Staci notes.
"Maybe your great great great great great great great great grandmother Alison really is rubbing off on you!" Izzy says.
"Haha, that's a bad omen… I don't want to get arrested." Staci rubs her arm.
Mary coughs next to the duo. "Thanks for helping me, I-"
Mary gets cut off with a knife flying and hitting her in the face, causing Izzy and Staci to scream. "RUN BACK TO CAMP!" Staci yells as Sugar, Lightning, and Raj enter the scene, Sugar being the knife throwing culprit.

"Izzy sounded very unconvincing there. My great great great cousin Sadie- not the contestant obviously, haha was very invasive, maybe I should take a cue from her to see what's wrong! Izzy is my friend after all, I want her to leave this game with a clear mind."

Bowie, Noah, and Sierra are alone for the time being as Mary is taking some time to actually die while Staci and Izzy aren't back yet. "So… I wanted to get the three of us alone. Sierra, who would you want out next between the other three?" Bowie questions.
"Uhhhhh…" Sierra draws out. "I guess Staci. I like Izzy and I'm friendly with Ellody."
"Ellody is already out, genius." Noah rolls his eyes.
"I meant Mary, gosh- ooh, Harold reference!" Sierra squeals, causing Noah to roll his eyes even harder.
"You're friends with Mary?" Bowie questions.
"Yup!"
"I-"
Suddenly, Mary spawns back in. "Greetings. Someone threw a knife at my face."

"Who casually greets people like that-"

"Huh. I know Izzy and Staci seem close to Mary, I know I was in an alliance with her, but now Sierra too? Come to think of it, everyone except Noah has connections with her. Thinking about it, maybe Mary is my biggest threat on this team."

We see Staci and Izzy run back with their high tier currency. "Let's buy some armor, ASAP!" Staci takes charge. "Some of the Ruby Team members could be following us here."

"Stupid Amber Team!" MacArthur shouts in anger after respawning. "Give me a sword, I'm going back out!"
Wayne hands her a sword. "Alright, but please be mindful that we should have a plan-" MacArthur runs off. "She's gone… again."

Cut to the middle section
We see multiple people spread out and trying to get on the bridge to the other team's islands. Taylor makes her way across the Ruby bridge, Raj goes to the Sapphire bridge, and Alejandro/Josee head to the Gold bridge. We also see Dwayne, Chet, and MK wanting to go to Sapphire as well. As they try to head over without being noticed by the Ruby members who are collecting currency in the very middle, they hear a voice.
"Hey dad- AH!" Junior gets cut off by Dwayne swinging a sword in his throat on reflex. The trio gasp and Junior crumples to the ground.
"JUNIOR!" Dwayne yells out at the top of his lungs, alerting Sugar and Lightning to his presence. "I killed my son!"
"Calm down Dwayne, it's not real." MK pats his back.
"And you got us caught, way to go!" Chet points at Sugar and Lightning. Lightning throws a knife at Chet and misses despite Chet not exactly being a small target. While Dwayne is still crying, Sugar runs into him and sends him off the edge of the middle island. MK snatches Sugar's money right as this happens and begins booking it back to the Amethyst bridge.
"GET HER!" Sugar yells. Before Lightning can go after MK, Chet tackles and sits on Lightning. Sugar is offended. "THAT'S MY STRATEGY!"
The battle of epic proportions begins as Sugar tackles Chet and they begin fighting as Lightning gets up and chases after MK, who is already on the bridge. Sugar and Chet roll off the island.

We see Dwayne sobbing. "He's going to be so mad at me!" He looks towards the camera. "Honey, if you're at home watching this, it was an accident!"

"Stupid Dwayne! He just had to get emotional about killing his son, like who cares? Also, I won't forget what Sugar did…"

"Chet, more like GET THE HELL OUT." Sugar shouts at the top of her lungs. "He had no involvement in me falling off the island, and I mean it. I just took myself out with him!"

"GET HIM!" MK screams as she gets back to her island right as Lightning tackles her. She throws the currency right as she falls though, so Lightning can't grab it and run back. Jo, Courtney, Brick, and Scarlett instantly begin an ambush, managing to take out the athlete.

Scarlett has a long, satisfied sigh. "I've imagined doing that to someone before."

"I honestly didn't think Brick had that in him."

"Alright, we're good." Jo smirks. "Of course Lightning would try to take us all at once."
"I stole his money." MK laughs while pointing to the bag. She picks it up and goes to the shop area. Her eyes land on TNT, and she counts to make sure she has enough to purchase it. Sure enough, she does, so she gets it.
"TNT?" Courtney looks at it.
"Yup, time to blow Sapphire away." MK cackles.
"I'm coming with you." Chet has a devious smirk, and the Operation: TYTO originals make their way to get some payback on more Yellow Team members.
Cut to Ruby Team
Taylor has made it inside the castle, but doesn't see anyone around. "Wow, how stupid is this team? How did they leave no guards?" she asks out loud. Suddenly, she hears the sound of people spawning on the island, that being Sugar and Lightning.
"Damn, we got no currency!" Sugar complains. "Let's get some new swords and try again!"
They do just that, what a shock. Anyways, Taylor takes a sigh of relief now that they're gone, so she doesn't get caught. She slowly treks up to the egg, which has a little wooden cage built around it, causing her to laugh. "That's it? How pathetic."
"SURPRISE BITCH!" Tyler yells out of nowhere because shoving Taylor off the top of the castle to her death.

"I'm sorry for cussing, mom." Tyler looks guilty.

Taylor looks stunned. "How the hell did that klutz kill me?"

We see that Tyler and Cody were hiding to ambush anyone who was going after the egg. The duo share a high five. "Your plan was great, dude!" Tyler praises.
"Thank you, that seemed like a simple idea. Good thing the easy idea was the correct one!" Cody replies.

"INVADER!" Chase yells, running towards Raj with a sword.
"WAIT!" Wayne grabs his arm before he can hit him. "Don't hurt my buddy!"
"What are you doing here, Raj?" Kitty raises an eyebrow as Raj has his arms raised in defense.
"I'm not here to fight, I want to form an alliance with you guys." Raj states. "We can work together to take out the other teams!"
Emma smiles. "I don't see why not!"

"Raj was one of my closest allies on the Yellow Team, having his team be safe is a good thing. We just need to recruit Amber to help Bowie too."

We see Tammy and MacArthur having an intense sword fight. MacArthur looks shocked at how even it is. "How are you keeping up with me?!"
"Don't underestimate anyone." Tammy smirks as she tries to disarm MacArthur. This doesn't work. Out of nowhere, Duncan runs up and tackles MacArthur.
"Get her!"
Tammy stabs MacArthur in the throat with the sword. Duncan gets up and offers a high five. "Good work!"
"Thanks!" Tammy smiles. "Let's get that money!"
Suddenly, Chase runs up to them. Tammy points her sword towards Chase. "Woah woah woah bro, don't do anything!" he begs.
"I think we can trust Chase." Duncan states. Tammy sighs and lowers her sword, but she does grab the currency from the middle. "Besides, we have an offer to make."
"You do?" Chase asks.
"Yup. We want to work with your team for this challenge, as we all have 8 members." Duncan states. "We don't want the weaklings to target us."
Chase takes a moment to think. "Rad idea, dude!"
Chase and Duncan high five as Tammy smiles. "Who should we target? Maybe the Amber or Amethyst Teams, preferably the latter." she says, still thinking of ways to get back at the MK and Dwayne duo.
"I'm down with either." Duncan says.
"Amethyst is the way to go." Chase decides.
"I'll take the currency back to our team." Tammy says. "Chase, inform your team of this pact so nothing dumb happens with the other members."
"Alright." Chase nods. As Tammy walks away, Chase looks at Duncan. "I… took your advice."
Duncan raises his unibrow. "You… actually did? You apologized?"
"I did, and I asked if she'd take me back." Chase responds.
"Did she say yes?"
"...no."

"Oh." Duncan deadpans. "Anyways, see ya later-"
The duo get slashed with swords by the Staci and Izzy duo. They high five after showing another display of dominance in this challenge.

"We are killing it today, I love working with Staci! I'm glad that Mary picked her up as an ally, I won't have to vote her out for a long time."

"Yeah, we should probably go-" Shawn suggests before Axel cuts him off.
"NEVER SAY DIE!" Axel runs towards them. Izzy just stabs her before she can touch them. Shawn gives an awkward look.
"Yeah… I'm going to die either way, so YOLO!" Shawn decides before deciding to take a run on the Amber bridge. Staci and Izzy follow him.

"Maybe the bravest decision isn't always the smartest decision." Axel frowns at how easily she just got taken out.

"Alright, so we should probably head out now." Kitty says. Suddenly, MacArthur spawns in and sees Raj.
"INTRUDER!" MacArthur shouts. Before anyone can stop her, she runs up to Raj and shoves him off the island.
"MacArthur!" Wayne scolds. "He's working with us!"
"Oh… oops." MacArthur facepalms. "In my defense, how was I supposed to know that?"
"You could've thought that none of us were attacking him for a reason, but I get why you did it, don't worry." Millie assures. Jen rolls her eyes at this, clearly not being MacArthur's biggest fan by any stretch.
"We can recover from this, don't worry." DJ assures, though his voice is still shaky from the nerves of this challenge. Chase respawns.
"Hi."
"Hi." DJ greets. "Alright, let's-"
BOOM.
An explosive was thrown at Sapphire's tower, causing it to blow up, obviously breaking the egg.
"The Sapphire Team's egg is broken, any deaths with them will now be final!"
"Oh no!" Millie begins panicking.
"I'M GONNA DIE! MAMA, I'LL MISS YOU!" DJ begins to sob.
Jen glares at him. "Dude, this is VR! You will be fine in the real world."

"I had to go through so much therapy because of the first three seasons, this one is NOT helping."

We see Chet and MK suddenly run up to the whole team with swords.
"What do we do?!" DJ panics.
"YOU DIE!" Chet yells as he stabs DJ with the sword, causing him to fall to the ground. Kitty tackles Chet, but MK uses this chance to stab her in the back. This angers Millie, who tackles MK to the ground and uses her own sword to take out MK and Chet.
"DJ and Kitty are gone." Emma worries. "There are only six of us left!"
"We have to fight anyone off who comes near us." Jen says. Any other obvious statements to make, Jen?
Cut to Emerald Team
We see Tammy come back with currency. No one is shocked, as Duncan respawned and told them everything that happened. "We formed an alliance with Sapphire like you suggested Sammy, though obviously they can't respawn anymore, so I'm not sure how well they're going to do." Tammy says. "Let's buy some better items before ambushing Amethyst."
Junior has a bit of a conflicted look as his dad is on that team, but he doesn't say anything.

"I don't really want my dad to be up for elimination, but I'd also rather not draw more attention to us being one of the last duos from the Ridonculous Race still standing, so I'll let them target his team to prove that I'm a team player!"

"Alright." Sammy nods before they do just that. "Where's Shawn?"
Axel shrugs. "I lost to Izzy and Staci, but he's still fighting. That's impressive considering that they both have armor."
"Well, the playing field is about to be evened." Sammy smirks. As everyone begins to get prepared, Nichelle walks up to Sammy.
"Hey."
"Oh… hi."
"So… we're like… good after what happened at the last campfire ceremony, right? We don't need to have any hard feelings." Nichelle says. "We kind of went after each other, but that means nothing."
"Uh, of course it doesn't." Sammy replies. They share an awkward handshake.

"Of course it means something, what is she on about? She might target me next, in fact." Sammy takes a moment before sighing. "Maybe I'm being a bit… over dramatic. Shawn would prevent her from voting for me if we lose again… right?"

We see other Gold Team members look irritated after Taylor won't stop ranting about what happened earlier on her failed egg murder attempt at Ruby's castle. "Then Tyler SHOVED ME DOWN! I fell to my death, and it was like so sad!" Taylor looks upset.
"Can they do it again? You'd stop talking if you were dead." Blaineley comments with an eye roll, her relatively not rude nature with Taylor earlier in the phase being gone after receiving her vote the previous vote. Taylor responds by picking her up and throwing her off the island in a similar way to Duncan and Harold earlier on.
"Taylor!" Scott and Jacques yell in annoyance at the same time. Once Blaineley respawns, it looks like we're about to get a fist fight, but they hear footsteps. They turn around to see Alejandro and Josee invading the castle, which causes everyone to follow them. Unfortunately, Alejandro is too quick and manages to easily break their egg.
"The Gold Team's egg is broken! Any deaths with them will be final!"
Jacques and Taylor double team and manage to pin Josee down. Alejandro jumps down and stabs Jacques, but he is quickly taken to the ground and fights with Scott. There is one woman who is clearly upset about losing the egg, and that is Blaineley. Taylor takes out Josee quickly with a sword, but Blaineley has a different approach. She takes off her high heel and hits Alejandro in the head for three minutes straight until he fades away, having respawned.
Scott gives her a look of surprise. "That was brutal…"
"That's what they get for targeting us!" Blaineley seethes. "Now that Jacques is gone, only three of us are left."

"Let me tell you, my high heels are DEADLY weapons. I've had to use them against some touchy men at the start of my career."

"We took out their egg! We just have to come back and put their whole team up for elimination!"

Cut to Sapphire Team
We see Raj and Tyler walk on the Sapphire Bridge. "What happened?" Tyler asks.
"MK and Chet blew up our tower." Emma pouts.
"Can I get an apology for the murder?" Raj requests MacArthur.
"I'm sorry." MacArthur says very quietly.
"Huh?" Jen didn't hear clearly.
"I SAID I'M SORRY!" MacArthur shouts.
They have bigger problems to worry about though, as Scarlett, Courtney, Jo, and Brick run in on the scene. "Sorry, but we have to take you out." Scarlett says bluntly.
"You aren't sorry!" Tyler says.
"Mmm… you're right." Scarlett gives a light chuckle before the squad runs towards the Sapphire Team and jock duo. Courtney easily mows through the two Ruby Team members, now making it 4 vs 6. Any kill on Sapphire will end their journey in this challenge, so they need to be careful.
"The Amethyst Team's egg is broken! Any deaths on their team will be final."
"WHAT?" Courtney yells out in shock. The Sapphire Team takes this as the perfect time to attack, a full on sword fight now commencing. Very unsurprisingly, Scarlett and Millie are the first to fall on each team. Chase and MacArthur are easily dealt with right after, leaving it to be Emma, Wayne, and Jen vs Courtney, Brick, and Jo. Predictably, the Sapphire Team members get mauled.
"And the Sapphire Team are our first losers for today! They will be up for elimination!"
"YES!" Jo cheers out, the trio sharing a high five.
"How did our egg break though?"
Cut to Amethyst Team
We see Tammy, Axel, Nichelle, and Duncan finish off Chet and MK. Dwayne on the other hand is escaping via the bridge. "Get him!" Axel roars, and everyone follows.

"Did Junior send the team after mine because I accidentally hit him? I feel horrible!"

"MK and I may have died, but we successfully screwed over the Sapphire Team. Hopefully Emma or Kitty are gone."

"You know… channeling the LARPing memories for this challenge made me think about my conversation with Ella back when I decided to drop the magic. That conversation is ringing in my head, the way she told me that if I can separate facts and fiction, I can still LARP. Maybe everything with the idol was a misunderstanding, I shouldn't have made huge assumptions." Tammy says, seeming a lot more positive than she did at the start of the day.

Cut to Sapphire Bridge
Before Courtney, Jo, and Brick can head back to the middle area, they are shocked to see two items thrown. One was thrown to an area behind them, and the other was thrown right in front of them. They gasp as they realize what it is.
"Fire!" Brick yells in fear.
"Haha, the Lightning is bringing the heat!" Lightning cackles as he throws two molotov cocktails on the bridge, effectively dooming the trio. "You don't kill me and get away with it!"
"We're going to burn!" Courtney screams.
"Yeah, I'm not feeling the pain." Jo decides to jump off the bridge, preferring that to getting burnt. Brick and Courtney follow in her footsteps, taking all three out of the challenge, and leaving only Dwayne left for the Amethyst Team.
Cut to Amber Team
"Someone is coming!" Mary yells in a panic. That someone ends up being Shawn. Bowie and Sierra both try to hit him with their weapons, but his zombie survivalist training pays off as he easily dodges them and gets into the castle.
"Stop him!" Noah shouts. Everyone tries to, but Shawn begins breaking the wooden structure around the egg. Sierra manages to stab him in the back right as he breaks the structure, but he slumps over onto the egg, breaking it anyway.
"The Amber Team's egg is broken! Any death with them will be final!"
"NO!" Izzy yells as she and Staci make it across the bridge.
"The Emerald Team could easily come over and get us, what do we do?" Bowie worries.
"We could fight them off." Sierra looks confident.
"Nah." Noah says, instead getting a sword and taking a different approach. He goes to the ropes and cuts them, causing the bridge to fall.
"What did you do that for?" Bowie questions.
"If they can't reach us, then they can't kill us. We can't do anything either, but at least we can't lose." Noah replies, causing everyone to look impressed.
"That's… brilliant." Bowie says in the same manner he did to MK back in Rematch.
"That's my friend!" Izzy beams.
"Clever thinking, we should be safe." Mary smiles.
"I know, I'm great." Noah takes a mock bow.

We see Lightning and Sugar chasing Dwayne, who ran into the middle to escape Emerald.

"They're back!" Scott yells in horror as Alejandro and Josee aren't finished, they've made their way back to the Gold Team. "Go away! Alejandro, isn't there some villains team unity?"
"Nope." Alejandro says bluntly as another fight breaks out. Blaineley takes off her other high heel.
"Want some more of this?" she asks. Alejandro flinches a bit, but he and Josee don't back down. Alejandro and Josee clash swords with Scott and Taylor, while Blaineley grabs her heel. Scott ducks a hit from Alejandro, causing the sword to hit Blaineley in the head instead. Josee manages to slash Taylor in the stomach, leaving it as 2 on 1. Scott decides his best option is to run away.

Anyways, I have an announcement to make regarding the Amethyst vote for tonight." Chris states. Don, Chef, and camerawoman Layla enter the tent. "Do any of you recognize this woman?"
"No." is the unanimous answer.
"Really? No one on the Amethyst Team recognizes her?" Chris asks.
"Is she a celebrity?" Brick questions.
"She's nowhere near my star power." Nichelle says.
"True that, she's just a camerawoman. And a few of you broke the rules."
A chorus of gasps is heard.
"What happened? Who broke the rules?" Brick looks around angrily as Operation: TYTO looks nervous.
"Scarlett assaulted this camerawoman to steal her outfit and camera. MK used this to cheat and pose as a camerawoman to get clued in on important conversations." Chris explains, causing everyone to gasp in shock.
"Actually, I revoke my gasp. That doesn't shock me at all." Bowie says. "Sounds very MK-like."
"Sounds very Scarlett-like too." Shawn notes with a glare.
Brick, Jo, and Courtney look stunned as the pieces of what has been happening begin to click in their heads.
"Chet and Dwayne were aware of this happening too." Chris adds. Junior looks at his dad in shock, but the older man avoids his gaze in shame. "Chet and Dwayne technically didn't break the rules themselves, so they won't be punished. However, you can only vote for MK or Scarlett tonight."
More gasps. "WHAT?" both women yell at the same time.
"Sorry, there has to be rules to enforce." Chris shrugs. Brick looks at the camerawoman who had a sad look on her face after all that's happened. "Anyways, I will see you all tonight."

"For the first time, I'm actually nervous tonight… I hope Jen or Chase go home."

I got cheated out of two allies, just like how I always get cheated in this damn show. From Harold rigging the votes, from me not being able to participate in a tiebreaker in World Tour, from the challenge being changed after I won it in All Stars, to this… it's so annoying."

We see MacArthur talking to DJ and Millie. "I know I was upset at you two for not voting with me last time, but I forgive you." MacArthur says. DJ and Millie exchange a glance. "Do you think that you two can save me? You should vote for Jen or Chase."
"Which one would you prefer?" DJ asks, preferring to let MacArthur direct the conversation.
"I'd rather it be Jen, but I think the others are more likely to vote for Chase." MacArthur answers.
"So, you want it to be Chase?" Millie questions.
"Yup." MacArthur responds.
"Alright, we'll see if the others are on board." Millie replies before she and DJ walk off.
"We can't have it be Chase." DJ says. "We have an alliance with her and Jen."
"I know, it should just be MacArthur tonight." Millie agrees.
"Well… I wasn't saying that." DJ states, causing Millie to raise an eyebrow.
"What do you mean?"
"Wayne, Emma, and Kitty seem like a tight trio." DJ says. "If we don't take them out soon, we won't have another chance."
Millie looks hesitant. "I know you're right, but I am friends with Kitty. I'm worried that she's going to be upset if I don't vote with her again, and I think she'd be okay with targeting MacArthur."
"I feel like she would want to vote for Chase though, isn't Emma still mad at him?"
"She hasn't ranted about him in a few days, so maybe it died down." Millie suggests. "Besides, my logic for this is that we will still have the majority if we take MacArthur out in a 4-3. Her leaving also won't upset anyone, so we can get the peace at camp for another few rounds. And after everything that happened at Orange, we could use some peace!"
DJ laughs. "True that. We don't need any more 'EEK WHO VOTED FOR ME' or fighting over stray votes."
Millie also laughs, very happy that the memories of the Orange Team are firmly in the past. "I get your perspective though, taking a shot at a trio would be smart."
We see the power duo look conflicted as we cut away.

"This seems like a difficult decision right now, but like going to my family's restaurant, we will always make the right choice!"

We see Emma, Wayne, and Kitty together. "MacArthur has to pay for killing Raj!" Wayne says.
"You're seriously mad about that? She didn't know." Kitty says.
"Okay, I'm not mad about that, I just don't think she was good at the challenge all day and she's not the most…" Wayne trails off.
"Pleasant?" Emma fills in the blank.
"Yeah, that! I want to vote for her." Wayne says.
"Works for me." Kitty smiles.
"Same!"

"After Chase apologized, I don't feel the urge to vote him out! I feel at peace with him, so MacArthur is my bigger problem right now."

Lastly, we see Jen, Chase, DJ, and Millie all together. "We need to decide quickly. The others want MacArthur, are we good with this?" Millie questions.
"They want MacArthur and not Chase?" DJ looks surprised.
"He apologized to Emma, they're good now." Jen explains, causing DJ and Millie to have mildly surprised looks.
"You apologized for something? Consider me shocked." Millie says, getting an eye roll from Chase.
"Whatever. Can we vote for Wayne?" Chase requests. "He won before."
"So did MacArthur." Millie points out.
"Who does MacArthur have though? No one likes her because she's an annoying, overconfident, loudmouth-"
"Horribly dressed, rude-"
"Ok guys, that's enough." DJ cuts off once Jen joins in, not wanting to be needlessly rude behind anyone's back. He neglects to point out some of the hypocrisy in what Chase is criticizing. "Chase makes a good point about that trio."
"MacArthur told us that she wanted to vote for you, but if you want, we can vote for Wayne." Millie says.
"She was targeting me?" Chase frowns. "I thought she would target Jen!"
"Hey!" Jen looks annoyed.
"What?" Chase looks confused. "Anyways, maybe getting MacArthur out wouldn't be a bad idea…"
"But Wayne, Emma, and Kitty are a threat." Jen reminds them.
We see the squad continue to debate.

"According to that training guide, the best way to control a vote is to not make it obvious that you're controlling the vote. I'm worried the tip is not working though! I really want it to be MacArthur who goes, but the others seem worried about that trio. I know Chase has a massive ego still, one apology doesn't change that, so telling him that MacArthur is targeting him might sway him. I'm trying to do this without being forceful."

"So, you guys thought that assaulting an innocent cameraman was okay?" Brick asks MK and Scarlett as everyone is in the camp except for Dwayne.
"You cheated to play that idol correctly, that's insanely unfair!" Courtney yells.
"Good thing none of us got screwed over." Jo gives a glare towards Scarlett, who looks nervous at this.
"It was MK's suggestion." Scarlett states bluntly, causing MK to gasp. She knows that Scarlett is right, but how dare she point that out loud. "She told me what to do, I just did it."
"That's not true!" MK scoffs. "My plans never involve hurting people, they just involve cheating."
"And why should they believe you?" Scarlett asks.
"Because I'm not the one who tried to kill everyone!" MK says. "You hurt that poor woman, and for what?"
"Yeah, Scarlett." Chet says. "MK did cheat to find out about who we should play the idol on, but she never wanted you to hurt that poor lady."
"You guys aren't believing this, right?" Scarlett asks with a hint of worry in her voice.
"I mean, it's hard not to. You did try to blow everyone up last time." Courtney states.
Confessional: Scarlett
"The war of throwing each other under the bus is on. I know that Chet and Dwayne are going to stick in MK's corner, so I'm going to have to try and get Jo back on my side."

We see Scarlett and Jo talking. "You cheated and didn't tell me?" Jo looks upset.
"Why would I tell you? You would've ratted me out." Scarlett says.
"You should've told me because we're allies Scarlett, that's kind of how it works!" Jo shouts. "I'm not friends with Crimson or Bridgette, but they didn't deserve to get screwed over."
"Whatever. Keeping me is your best option. Dwayne, MK, and Chet are closer to each other than they are to me. You'd have to go to a tiebreaker against them."

"On one hand, Scarlett is right. On the other hand, I don't trust her at all anymore, so I'm not sure about our deal… without being able to cheat with idols, any of myself, Brick, or Courtney could crush any of them in a tiebreaker."

We see Dwayne sitting by himself near the lake. Brick notices this, and despite being upset at him being complicit in the cheating, decides to check up on him. "How are you?"
Dwayne sighs. "I've been better, I feel horrible about the VR challenge."
"Why? You were the last one standing, you didn't do anything wrong to cost us the win."
"I accidentally stabbed my son, then his team targeted us! I feel like a bad father for it." Dwayne frowns.
Brick looks unsure of what to say. "I don't think you're a bad father because of an accident in a VR world, it has nothing to do with real life and I'm sure he knows that. I doubt he leads his team either, so I don't think he targeted you." Brick assures.
Dwayne sighs. "I just want to be the best father I can be, and sometimes I feel like I'm not doing enough."
Brick frowns at this statement. "I'm sure you're doing your best… but we need to talk about the elephant in the room."
"Yeah, the camera thing… I…"

"We were having a more emotional conversation, but then I realized something! I have to protect MK and really sell Scarlett as the bad guy. That would be her karma for rolling her eyes at me all the time." Dwayne has a petty expression.

"When Scarlett suggested the idea, I-"
"So, it was Scarlett?" Brick asks.
"Yeah, did you not know?" Dwayne has a fake confused look.
"She said it was MK, but MK and Chet fought back on that."
Dwayne's fake confused look doesn't leave. "Well, it was Scarlett. Anyways, she never told us that she hurt the woman to get the outfit or anything, she just said that she was going to get an outfit and camera. We did cheat for the idol stuff though and MK was involved, I won't deny that. But knowing that Scarlett is hurting people again has me worried, what if she does something similar to what she did in Pahkitew? I remember binge watching that season on the flight home from Ridonculous and being stunned!"
"You know, you may be right." Brick says with an annoyed look.

"With or without what Dwayne said, I regret not targeting Scarlett sooner. She is a horrible person and does not deserve to make it this far, the fact that I ignored this for strategy makes me feel horrible…"

We cut to MK and Chet. MK is pacing around nervously while Chet tries to calm her down. "MK, relax!"
"How can I, I'm on the chopping block! I'm screwed if they don't believe my story!" MK panics.
"Because this isn't going to help you!" Chet says. "Think of the positives, we managed to get the Sapphire Team up for elimination."
"I know, but that won't matter if I go next!"
"MK, please have confidence in yourself. You're an Operation: TYTO original. You've come up with so many innovative strategies. The confessional hacking, the intern outfit, and the camerawoman stunt were all your ideas. You took a trainwreck team in Rematch and made them go from the minority to the majority by the time of merge because of your ideas. You really think this one bump in the road is going to slow us down?" Chet questions. "You survived how many eliminations on a terrible team as one half of a recent power couple? This is just another obstacle."
MK resists smiling. She won't be caught dead being moved by a motivational speech. "Fine speech." is her sarcastic reply. "I guess you're right. We just have to keep trying."

Elsewhere, we see Jo, Brick, and Courtney. "This vote comes down to us." Courtney states bluntly. "It's nice to have some guaranteed power in this game for once."
"True." Jo laughs. "Anyways, Scarlett or MK?"
"I think Chet and Dwayne want Scarlett." Courtney says.
"So, we should vote for her?"
"No, I think it's the exact opposite. We should use Scarlett as a number." Courtney replies. "Dwayne, MK, and Chet are a stronger trio, we'd have to go into a tiebreaker if we lost again."
"Fair point." Jo notes.
"But Scarlett has tried to kill many people, and her stunt by attacking the woman shows that she hasn't changed her violent ways! If we don't eliminate her soon, we will regret it." Brick says. "Someone can get really hurt if she finds a way to control this island."
Jo and Courtney grimace, thinking about what happened in Scarlett Fever. "I get that, but we can just boot her next time-"
"If that's your logic, she will flip back to Chet and Dwayne the next round and we will have to do a tiebreaker either way. The reason we didn't vote for her last time was because she could win a quiz tiebreaker. If we vote her out now, then our biggest tiebreaker threat is gone. Any of us could beat any of Dwayne, Chet, or MK." Brick lays out his idea.
"If we make her think we're on her side, we could pull off a 3-2-1!" Courtney argues.
"Do you think that she would stay by us even if she thought we were with her? She's smart enough not to settle for number four in her alliance." Brick argues back. Jo knows how true this is with the deal the duo made earlier in the game.
"Brick, please just vote out MK! There's at least a chance we won't do a tiebreaker if Scarlett is still around, we will have to do one if MK is still here." Courtney pleads.
"Courtney, I don't think I can break my moral code here… I regret keeping her around to begin with, but knowing that she hurt an innocent worker crosses the line of no return. Even if it was MK's idea, Scarlett still physically hurt someone when she didn't have to, Chris said it himself." Brick replies.
"Jo, you have to have an opinion, right?" Courtney looks towards Jo.

"Every vote just has to be stressful, doesn't it? I know there is a shot of no tiebreaker with Scarlett, but I'm so confident we could beat the other three that I'm not thinking about that."

"Why does Brick always have to think with his heart? How much money is on the line? Sure, Scarlett's a bitch, but you gotta do what you gotta do sometimes." Courtney gives a sharp glare to the camera, knowing full well how far someone can go to try and win the game.

"They tried to get my opinion, I just stayed out of it for a while. I'm conflicted because I have a working relationship with Scarlett, but she did betray me and Brick has a great point about the tiebreaker. Chet won a tiebreaker, but it was against someone way weaker than the rest of us."

Cut to Sapphire Team at the campfire ceremony
"Welcome to your second elimination ceremony, Sapphire! One of you will be eliminated. Let's see who that is!"
We get a quick cut of everyone voting before cutting back to the campfire ceremony
"If anyone has found a hidden immunity idol and wants to play it, now would be the time to do so…"

"Wow guys, way to play it safe. A 7-1 is sooo brave." MacArthur comments with venom.
"Sometimes big moves aren't the smart ones." Jen shrugs with a smirk, glad her enemy is gone.
"Whatever, thanks for being liars." MacArthur glares at DJ and Millie before walking out. Both share a bit of a guilty look.

We see the Sapphire Team exit and the Amethyst Team enter
"Welcome Amethyst Team! Seven of you are here, but only two of you can be voted for. Get rid of one of those dirty cheaters!"

"Thanks for snagging me the camera costume, but you'll have to suffer the consequences for my idea." MK votes for Scarlett.
"MK, if I go tonight… I don't know what I'll do." Scarlett sighs.
"No way are you a higher priority to me than MK is, so bye." Chet votes for Scarlett.
"Sorry that this had to happen." Dwayne frowns while voting Scarlett.
"I don't think that I convinced Brick to vote for you, but fuck it, I'm doing this anyways." Courtney angrily votes for MK.
Jo slowly writes a name down.
Brick looks sad while closing the voting urn.

"62nd person voted out of Total Drama Ultimate… Scarlett. That's 4, it's time for you to go!"

Courtney rolls her eyes at the result, though she wasn't surprised. Scarlett stands up and her hands begin shaking, worrying everyone at what she's going to do.

"Good game." is what Scarlett gets out. "MK, despite you causing my elimination… I did have some fun when I did some dirty strategy, so I guess this phase wasn't a total loss."
With that, Scarlett makes her exit, shocking everyone at how calm it is. Scarlett joins MacArthur in the boat of losers. "A cop and a criminal, how fitting." Scarlett gives a small chuckle at the situation.
"Eh, if you pay me I could help you escape."
"Wait, what-"
The boat leaves.

"I didn't do what Courtney wanted this time, but I feel like I grew from the last phase. I made my intentions on who I was voting for clear, I didn't leave anyone in the dark this time."

We cut to Chris alone at the campfire. "You think MK and Scarlett would've learned from the last time they broke the rules, but no. Anyways, only 38 are left now! Who will be going home next? The only way to find out is by tuning in for our next episode of Total Drama Ultimate!"
Episode 28 is done! This wasn't a very plot heavy episode, instead being more focused on the action of the challenge. Not many episodes are like this in TDU, so I hope it was somewhat refreshing in that regard.
MacArthur- She finally couldn't beat the allegations, y'all were predicting her downfall very early. She was one of my favorites in the first batch of episodes, but it's clear that I struggled to find a role for her halfway through and she lost some of her early shine. I know it may be weird it wasn't the same round she pulled a big move, but her attempt at a big move at Justin's boot put her the minority, so it was still a flop because of her big move itus.
Scarlett- This might come as a shock, even to me! Her elimination wasn't planned until after I already started writing the challenge, the Amethyst elimination format was completely different. (aka it wasn't just MK/Scarlett ufe) The reasons for her elimination are pretty simple. She was my least favorite to write on the team. She had the least notable support from reviews on the team. The original direction this team was heading in was too similar to another, so I changed it to differentiate them. She felt a bit too similar to another player from a writing perspective. There are other dynamics that need more time to explore that are more interesting or popular than what Scarlett can offer. She got some nice stories with the Brainzilla arc and the camerawoman, but she lost the day here.
