Mortal01- I'm glad you caught Raj making a DC4 reference, my proofreader thought no one would understand lol. It's been a while since that Lime alliance mattered, I don't blame you for forgetting. You weren't grasping at straws with the Ashley reference, good work on catching it. Everyone would be so pissed if Sammy got eliminated by drawing a rock randomly, I should've done it to see the reactions lol (jk). Jen does NOT deserve this slander! Agreed on Chase not being prominent, I flopped him I fear.

Red Rain- Staci is one of only two first boots to still be in I think. I'm glad you liked the purge challenge. When I first started I was worried, but as time went on, I really enjoyed writing for it. High key this was a sucky situation for Jen. She either does nothing and has a 50/50 shot of going home, or tries to save herself and gets hated for it.
Lacueva- You don't have to feel bad for asking, dw lol. I'm healthy atm, I just needed to not spend all my time writing for this. Tbf, I doubt anyone reads this story for the challenges as they hardly matter here.

"Last time on Total Drama Ultimate… the Emerald Team had some juicy drama once they got back from the elimination ceremony, with the majority not being too happy with Harold. Emma and Wayne told the Sapphire Team about their budding relationship, how nice. The challenge was about capturing animals, which led to some interesting moments. The Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald Teams all lost, but a twist altered Sapphire's elimination by sending Millie to exile, and turned Emerald's elimination into a sudden death challenge. Junior lost, sending him home. Without Millie, Chase and Jen became easy pickings, so bye bye Chase. And last but not least, Nichelle gave her alliance mate Alejandro an idol. He used this to play it on Josee and take down Tyler. Now just 32 remain. Who will go home this episode? Find out on Total Drama Ultimate!"

Cut to exile
We see Millie looking at a piece of paper while she walks on exile island's beach. The previous night, she found the piece of paper in the skull in the middle of the island. "Okay, I'm near the large tree." Millie says to herself. She reads the next step. "Walk 10 paces to the left."

"What's a pace?" Millie wonders out loud.
…
"Oh right, steps." Millie realizes. Thankfully for her, she doesn't have to rely on the pace gods for help. She takes ten steps to the left of the tree and begins digging.
Confessional: Millie
"I knew there would be an advantage, and I'm working as hard as I can to get it. I have the idol of course, but that doesn't guarantee anything. I'm just wondering which of Jen or Chase got axed last night…"

We see Millie looking exhausted while digging. "This is hard…" she complains, another example of Millie's lack of physical prowess. She takes a few minutes to lay down and rest before she hears the sound of a boat that is coming to pick her up. She gasps and begins going into overdrive while digging. She pulls out a small box and smiles.
"This must be the advantage…"
Cut to Ruby Team
We see Josee glaring at Lightning at camp. Lightning looks up at her. "What are you staring at the Lightning for?" he asks with a raised eyebrow.
"You lied to me last night." Josee states.
"You lie all the time, sha-get over it!" Lightning shuts down the complaint.
"Whatever. You should've voted for Cody." Josee says.
The camera pans to Cody, who is right next to Lightning. "I'm right here."
"I know."
"Just know, we voted for you because none of us like your attitude." Cody says. "You aren't helping your case. If we lose again, you will be going home."
Alejandro is sitting by quietly as the drama unfolds.

"I feel like the team isn't happy about what I did last night, but I know I had to." Alejandro shrugs.

"Sue me for acting smug after that. They all wanted to send me home, yet they couldn't. We just need to find another idol to give them a rude awakening."

"In hindsight, we really should've split our votes between Alejandro and Josee. I'm glad that I'm still here, but knowing that Josee and Alejandro were trying to get people to vote for me before they used the idol is a scary thought." Cody says. "And about Tyler, we did drift apart during this phase, but I'm still sad to see him go."

"Lightning is tired of people complaining to him when he doesn't vote their way. Screw you, get over it."

We see Cody and Lightning leave, leaving just Josee and Alejandro. "Random question, but what did you and Jacques talk about yesterday?" Alejandro asks.
"I just helped him out so he wouldn't get hit by a horse. We also clarified things a bit more on the rivalry we have, that it's just in game and not out." Josee replies.
"So, there's less beef?" Alejandro questions.
"Yup. I probably shouldn't have been so upset about him voting out Heather to begin with." Josee responds.
"Debatable…" Alejandro mutters, as he's clearly more biased in that field.

Elsewhere, we see Sugar by the lake. Raj is seen watching her. He takes a deep breath before going over to her.
Confessional: Raj
"I felt worried after Tyler left, but then I thought about something." Raj says despite thinking not being his strong suit. "Cody and Lightning are a pair, Alejandro and Josee are a pair… maybe I need to talk more with Sugar!"

"Hi!" Raj greets.
"UGH." Sugar responds.
"What?" Raj looks confused.
"Do you need something? Sugar is thinking!" Sugar says.
"I was just thinking that-"
"I was thinking first, do something else!" Sugar cuts off. Raj hides an annoyed look at the rudeness.
"I was… forming thoughts that we might need to form an alliance." Raj says, using different wording to not anger Sugar.
Sugar smiles, her confessional the previous episode about being the only one without a duo partner seemingly about to be outdated. "That's neat, tell me why." Sugar urges. She knows why, but she wants to hear him say it.
"The others already have close friends, and mine was eliminated last night." Raj says.
"So, I'm just your second choice?" Sugar questions the word choice despite already knowing that Raj was allied with Tyler.
"Yup!" Raj says with a smile, missing Sugar's slight irritation as Sugar doesn't like to be a second choice in anything. "Because of that and since you aren't the most well liked on the team, we could work together to keep each other safe."
"Did you just say I'm not well liked?!" Sugar looks irritated.
"Yeah, everyone I've talked to finds you annoying." Raj says earnestly. "Anyways, do you accept the alliance?"
Sugar sighs. "Alright, but you're gonna play by MY rules!"

"Everyone likes me, I don't know what that ice bitch is talking about." Sugar gives an annoyed look to the camera before her face turns to a more thoughtful one. "I just realized that I keep making alliances with people who do ice sports."

"I formed an alliance on my own, I think I did great!" Raj says, his training in gameplay from Bowie being hit or miss at this point with how he worded some things.

"Harold and I talked earlier this morning, and he told me that he did some LARPing too. We were bored, and then one thing led to another."

Duncan walks into camp after successfully killing a squirrel.
"Hey guys, look what I-" He begins to say, but stops after seeing what Harold and Tammy are doing.
"Surrender heathen, or face the wrath of my mighty viking axe!" Tammy threatens.
"Never!" Harold shouts back.
"Okay, you asked for this..."
Tammy brandishes a stick (that's meant to imitate an axe) in Harold's direction. He dodges.
"Telecacoosta, shalatamoo, ray of fire, shoot-da-loo!" Harold recites a spell.
At this point, Duncan bursts out laughing. "Shoot-da-loo? Really?" More laughter.
"Leave us alone you big bully! Harold and I would like to LARP in peace." Tammy puts her hands on her hips.
"I'm not the big one here."
Tammy looks down at herself and frowns.
"Why are you so mean?" Harold questions, annoyed.
"You do it to yourselves. I've never seen something more ridiculous in my entire life than what just happened!"
"I don't care what you think! Come on Tammy, let's go somewhere else."
And so they do, the LARPing duo disappearing into the woods.
"Weirdos..." Duncan mutters as they leave.

"I've competed in way too many episodes, the things I see get dumber and dumber." Duncan groans.

"Gosh, I'm at my breaking point with him! I might have an idea for some payback."

Elsewhere, we see Shawn and Nichelle walking together. "So, I got to tell you this… I gave my idol to Alejandro."
Shawn looks surprised. "Really? I thought it was supposed to just be between us."
"The Green idol is. The Emerald idol isn't. Alejandro said that he and Josee were on the chopping block, so I did something to help them. I hope that we see both of them when the teams meet up tomorrow." Nichelle replies. "I also got some more information."
"What is it?"
"They have a rivalry with Jacques or something. So, if we find the opportunity to cost him a challenge or make him look bad, we'll have to do it for the sake of the group." Nichelle responds.
"I guess we can do that." Shawn says, not bothering to question the rift in the Ice Dancers. "You've really been holding things down, huh? I feel like I need to get more involved with the alliance, I've been mostly sticking to this team since the swap."
"I don't blame you, it's risky trying not to get caught talking to Alejandro. I'm surprised no one noticed that I threw him the idol."
"Hey guys." Sammy greets as she's walking in from the opposite direction.
Nichelle gives a disapproving stare while Shawn smiles and waves. "Hi." Nichelle says coldly.
"Hi." Sammy responds back with the same tone. "What's got you in a mood?"
"Nothing."
"Is it that the alliances are even now?" Sammy questions.
"Do you need your ears checked? I said it's nothing, calm down." Nichelle replies.
"Sure." Sammy glares before walking off.

"I want Nichelle gone next honestly… we've been passive aggressive to each other this whole time, if Shawn wasn't here, we'd act a lot worse."

Shawn frowns as Nichelle turns to him.
"Did you hear the annoying way she was talking last night? I honestly doubt that she was joking with that talk of me being too rich and that I should give up, we clearly aren't friends." Nichelle says.
"Right…" Shawn says with a 'my friend is shit talking my other friend, but I don't want to tell friend #1 to stop ranting' face.
Nichelle sighs. "I'm probably just annoyed at that whole alliance, so I'm biased."
"What for?" Shawn asks.
"They keep getting bailed out by twists. Axel and Junior would still be here if not for the dual campfire ceremony or the purge. It's not really fair in my opinion." Nichelle elaborates.
Shawn clicks his tongue. "I get that, actually."

"It turns out that what Sammy said last night struck a nerve with Nichelle… I'm just waiting for the explosion that I won't be able to control."

"I know that I don't really need the money, but I'm too motivated to care about that. I need to prove myself…" Nichelle says without elaboration.

"Jo, we need to talk." Brick says.
"About?" Jo asks.
"I've been practicing for a rematch of our races… do you think that you're up for it?" Brick asks.
Jo laughs. "Another chance to school you? Of course! How about we take a lap around our camp, first person back wins."
"You're on! Courtney, can you stay here for proof of the winner?" Brick requests.
Courtney gives a thumbs up. "Alright. As a counselor, I know how to track who wins a race."
Brick and Jo get lined up.
"3… 2… 1… GO!"
Confessional: Brick
"It's time to finally beat Jo once and for all!"

"I found the idol!" Chet announces to Dwayne and MK.
"That's a stick." MK dryly responds.
"Oh."

"Oh well, let's keep looking." Chet says awkwardly as Operation: TYTO continues their idol search, but just like last episode, they aren't having any success.
"We better find this soon or I'll jump off a bridge." MK says.
"Jumping off of bridges isn't safe, MK." Dwayne states.
"I'm aware."
"Then why say it?" Chet inputs.
"I wasn't being serious, calm down you goofs." MK rolls her eyes.
"I'm not a goof, I'm a revolutionary." Chet corrects, causing MK to sigh.
"I guess you're revolutionary in pettiness, no one has held a grudge for this long except for you. When was Lorenzo voted out again?" MK questions.
"Day 6."
"What day is it now?"
"Day 59."

"Ok, I see your point, but revenge is needed. Don't you want to get revenge on the people who voted Julia out?" Chet asks.
MK looks at Dwayne and there's a moment of awkward tension. "On Tammy, sure. I'd have to betray this alliance to get revenge on Dwayne." MK states.
"Oh, I forgot about that." Chet replies.
"Not a shock."
"Hey!"
Dwayne begins laughing. "You two act so childish sometimes, it's funny."
"Hey!" Chet repeats himself.
"Fair, I just find arguing fun sometimes." MK shrugs.
"I feel like the dad of this group because I'm the most mature."
Chet and MK exchange a glance.
Confessional: Chet
"If Dwayne is the most mature, we're in big trouble."

"I guess you're right, that's kind of your role in this alliance." Chet chuckles.
"Meh, he'd probably be a better father figure than my real one." MK says casually.
There is an awkward moment of silence. "Are you going to elaborate on that?" Chet asks.
"No."
"Oh… but honestly, same." Chet says, causing Dwayne to look surprised.
"I would be flattered, but that's not a good thing to hear that a guy you met a few weeks ago would be a better father figure than your real one." Dwayne says with concern.
"My dad is a piece of shit anyways, don't worry." Chet waves off.
Dwayne frowns, never happy to hear something like that from a son or daughter. "Are you going to elaborate on that?" MK returns the favor by being the one to ask that question.
"Only if you will too, I'm not going to be the only one to reveal stuff." Chet says.
MK sighs. "Fine, I will after you do."
"You know how my mom is divorced and is now married to Lorenzo's dad, right?" Chet questions. MK and Dwayne both nod in unison, as that marriage is the reason the Stepbrothers were in the race to begin with. "They actually got divorced because my dad was a horrible person who would always mistreat my mother. He would constantly scream at her and I would hear it every day. I learned years later that the abuse was more than just verbal."
MK looks a bit surprised while Dwayne is sympathetic.
"Eventually with the help of a friend, she managed to escape the relationship and take me with her, but that never really left me. I was so opposed to Lorenzo and his dad becoming a part of my life because I was scared that his dad would treat her the same way mine did." Chet explains.
"Wow…" MK trails off, unsure of what to say.
"I'm so sorry to hear that you and your mom went through that!" Dwayne has a sad look. "Where is he now?"
"He got arrested later for something involving drugs, I didn't want to think about him enough to really press for details." Chet replies.
"At least he's locked up now… but wow, no father should treat their family like that, I'm glad that you're mom managed to escape and move on." Dwayne says.
"Does Lorenzo's dad treat her better?" MK asks.
"Yeah… we get along more than we did before the Ridonculous Race, that's for sure." Chet says with a choked laugh. "Sorry, I try not to think about that too much and I ended up venting."
"It's okay!" Dwayne assures. "I'm glad you could tell us about it and feel safe."
"Alright, enough about me. What about you, MK?" Chet asks.
"I'm not saying anything."
"But you-"
"I only said I would so you would tell us."
"BITCH."

"That conversation gave a lot of insight about why Chet is the way he is. I'm glad he came out of a bad situation relatively okay."

Cut to Amber Team
We see Staci poking at some worms with a stick in the forest, clearly bored. Her boredom may be cured as Noah walks up to her. "Hi."
Staci turns around. "Hi."
"We need to talk about a big problem on our team." Noah says.
"What is it?" Staci asks.
"Mary."
"That's not a nice thing to say about her nose, Noah." Staci shakes her head.
"I-"
"I don't actually care, I've said a lot worse about it! Haha!" Staci laughs, cutting Noah off.
"This is bigger than just her nose." Noah states.
"I doubt it can get bigger than that." Staci replies.
"It can." Noah says without elaboration. "Anyways, have you noticed that she's been pretty much controlling the game?"
"No." Staci calmly replies.
Noah sighs. "I'm going to be blunt with you. Mary has close bonds with everyone on the team except for me, she is deciding every vote. I think you need to take her out before it's too late."
Staci hums. "Hm… I can consider it."
"Cool."

Elsewhere, we see the trio of Mary, Bowie, and Izzy sitting at camp. Bowie and Mary are eating some chips the team won as a reward. The day has been uneventful at the Amber camp, which is very evident in Mary and Bowie's expressions. "I'm bored." Bowie complains.
"We're in agreement there. I wish we had a science novel to read." Mary agrees.
Bowie shakes his head. "I think I'd be even more bored if we had a science novel."
Mary scoffs. "Novels grow your brain, Bowie. People who don't read end up like…"

"Like?" Bowie questions.
"Everyone on this team is pretty smart actually, I don't have a punchline."
"Even Staci?" Bowie seems close to laughing.
"You have to be smart to be able to remember all of her relative's inventions with ease." Mary replies.
"Fair." Bowie concedes.
Izzy, who overheard the beginning of the conversation, walks over to the bored duo. "If you guys are bored, I can entertain you!"
Mary and Bowie look at each other with a mildly concerned expression. "Uh… go for it!" Bowie awkwardly smiles.
Izzy grabs a long wooden stick and puts one end of it into the fire. She turns around and does the same with the other end. "That's going to spread." Mary points out.
Izzy ignores her and begins twirling the lit stick like in her audition tape. Mary and Bowie watch on with some mild concern as the fire spreads closer to where Izzy's hand is. "Don't burn yourself, you wouldn't be able to help us in challenges if you do!" Bowie warns.
"Yes, that's the main cause of concern with getting burned." Mary comments.
"Izzy carries our physical strength." Bowie shrugs.
"...fair."
Right before the fire reaches her hand, Izzy throws the flaming stick up in the air. Before it can hit the ground, Izzy jumps up and kicks the stick in Mary and Bowie's direction. The two scream in worry as they barely dodge the fire. "Izzy, what was that?!" Mary looks shocked.
"You could've burned us!" Bowie adds.
"Is your heart racing?" Izzy asks.
"Yes, but-"
"Then I cured your boredom! You're welcome!" Izzy laughs before pouring a bucket of water onto the fire.

"Well, she's technically correct, I was no longer bored." Mary takes a moment of silence before sighing. "Overall, things have been smooth sailing for a long time on this team. I feel safe to the point it's unchallenging. Oh well, I'd rather be unchallenged than eliminated."

"I may banter with Noah and Mary sometimes, but at least they're normal people… if I can manage to send Mary home, then Izzy is 100% next."

We see the Gold Team all at camp with clear tension, as everyone hates everyone on this team. Jacques and Scott glare at each other as they walk by. Taylor smacks a bug that flies onto her arm while Blaineley looks irritated at Jacques for existing.

"The whole vibe of this team is negative." Blaineley states the obvious. "I think I'm the least hated though, so that's probably going to help me if we lose. Good thing a legend like me has power!"

Cut to Sapphire Team
"Why would you lie about Chase like that?" Emma questions Jen at camp. Wayne and Kitty are watching this conversation go down.
"To save myself, what do you think?" Jen replies casually, seeming unbothered by Emma's annoyance. "It was clearly Chase or myself going home because the three of you are stuck together like glue, don't blame me for doing what I needed to do."
"Ugh, I can't believe I fell for your lie." Emma looks upset at herself. Wayne walks up to her and massages her shoulders.
"Calm down…"

"I do not like being lied to, but I'm going to keep calm about this." Emma says despite us seeing the opposite just moments prior.

After a few moments, Millie walks in the scene and everyone looks towards her. Wayne is the first to approach her. "Welcome back!"
"Thanks." Millie responds with a shaky voice upon seeing Chase no longer in the camp. "Sooo… Chase is gone?"
"Yup." Kitty confirms.
Confessional: Millie
"I don't like Chase as a person, but that isn't good."

Kitty pulls Millie to the side. "I'm happy to see you again! If you're wondering, the vote was 4-1 last night."
"Who did Chase vote for?"
"Jen."
"Gotcha."

"I want Jen gone if we lose again." Kitty says. "No offense to her, but she's the only person left on this team that I don't consider a friend. Would you be willing to vote her out?"
"Of course I would." Millie smiles awkwardly, not wanting to mention to Kitty about the previous majority alliance she had.

"I'm glad that all of my friends are unified, Jen seems like an easy next boot."

We see Millie walk off on her own with her bag. She takes the box out of it and opens it and only sees a piece of paper, worrying her. She takes a closer look at the paper. "There is an advantage, but it's hidden at your camp. You have to dig under your team's flag."
Millie groans. "People are in camp all day, this sounds impossible to get without being caught!"
Millie taps her chin for a second before it looks like an idea comes to her.
Day 60
We cut to Chris standing on the beach. The Amethyst, Amber, and Gold Teams walk in the scene and step onto their team mats, anticipating seeing who got eliminated at the previous elimination. The Emerald Team walks in. "Getting your first look at the new Emerald Team… Junior automatically eliminated at the last elimination."
Dwayne gasps in shock at this.

"Junior's out?! What was the challenge?!" Dwayne looks worried.

Jo sighs. "My old alliance is dropping like flies."

Once the Emerald Team is settled in, the Sapphire Team joins them. "Getting your first look at the new Sapphire Team… Chase voted out at the last elimination."

"Part of me feels bad for the guy, but I knew it was only a matter of time once I saw who he was teamed with."

"And lastly, getting your first look at the new Ruby Team… Tyler voted out at the last elimination."

"I wish I could've really made things up with Tyler regarding phase 1, but I can't live in the past."

We see Nichelle cheering. "It worked!"

"Alright, time for your next challenge. If you win this, it's a guaranteed spot in the final 30 which means you will have outlasted 70 of our competitors and will have survived two months of this game. It's a big accomplishment, so do your best to go for it." Chris says, adding to the seriousness of the situation. "This is very simple. One randomized person from each team will head up to the platform on the beach. The goal will be to knock your opponent off-"
"Wasn't this used for the DJ vs Josee tiebreaker-"
"Cody, zip it." Chris glares. "Anyways, if you're the last person standing, you win immunity for your team. There will be four rounds, and I think you can see where I'm headed with this. The two teams that don't produce a winner will be up for elimination where one on each team will have their dreams crushed!"

"I better be up there, I easily crushed DJ last time I did this!"

We cut to Alejandro, Millie, Sammy, Brick, Staci, and Blaineley on the platform, all with dueling sticks. "Last person standing gets immunity for their team. GO!"
Alejandro instantly runs towards Staci and whacks her in the face with the stick as hard as he can to knock her off.
Confessional: Alejandro
"I will take any opportunity I can to dunk on Staci, I still maintain that the water balloon challenge was a fluke."

Alejandro and Brick begin dueling as the women watch. Sammy looks at Millie and Blaineley. "We should work together to take out the guys." Sammy says.
"Really?" Millie asks.
"I'm down, look at how strong they are." Blaineley watches as the two men are grappling at the edge of the platform.
"Ok, let's get them!" Sammy says. Millie and Blaineley begin to walk over, but Sammy shoves both of them into the water before running over to the guys and pushing Brick and Alejandro. Brick falls off the platform, but Alejandro is hanging on. Sammy quickly grabs her stick and goes to hit Alejandro in the face, but he uses one of his hands to trip her. He climbs back onto the platform and throws her off.

We cut back to the platforms, but now it's Jen vs Harold vs MK vs Noah vs Taylor.
"GO!"
MK and Noah go after each other as a continuation of their banter from the tiebreaker in Sierra's elimination. Jen and Taylor look at each other and smile before double teaming Harold, knocking him off the platform. They turn their attention to Noah and MK. Jen takes out Noah, and Taylor takes out MK, leaving the two Cyan women as the last two.
"Let's act like we're fighting, we need to catch up." Taylor says before the two half heartedly swing their dueling sticks.
"Yeah, we need to. What happened to Anne Maria?" Jen asks with concern.
"We added Dakota to our trio, but Scott got them eliminated." Taylor states.
"Ugh, that sounds awful! Can you get Scott out as revenge?" Jen questions.
"Probably not, Blaineley and Jacques are a duo two. They are a part of Queen's Quest, but I might have to betray them." Taylor replies.
"Do what you need to do, at least you have options. I'm probably going home if my team loses." Jen sighs.
"Really?"
"Yup."
"Hm… then you should knock me off, I'm in a power position tonight and can afford this loss." Taylor says.
"Wait, are you serious?" Jen looks shocked.
"Of course I am. We really need to kickstart this alliance again. The new phase is coming soon I assume, so I'll try my best to get us both there. I'll try to solidify some allies on Gold, even if it's Scott…" Taylor says. With that, Jen knocks Taylor off.
"Sapphire is safe!"

"Jen is the only other OG member of the alliance left, helping her out is ideal."

We cut to Shawn, Dwayne, Bowie, and Jacques on the platform.
"GO!"
Shawn rushes over to Jacques and smashes him in the face with the dueling stick while Bowie and Dwayne begin a fight of their own.
"Ouch!" Jacques groans as Shawn hits him over and over again before throwing him off like a man possessed.

"I know it was the challenge, but that was needlessly aggressive!"

As that is going on, Bowie easily dispatches Dwayne. "It's you and me, zombie boy." Bowie smirks. The two finalists run towards each other and clash. Bowie tries to sweep Shawn's legs, but the latter jumps up and kicks Bowie in the face, causing him to stumble backwards. Shawn uses this opportunity to swing the stick to knock Bowie off, getting him the win.
"And the Emerald Team is safe, none of the teams who lost last time will be seeing me in back to back campfires!"

We cut to the Amethyst, Amber, and Gold Teams.
"So, you're guaranteed to go up next." Blaineley looks at Scott.
"Don't screw this up for us." Jacques gives an icy glare. Scott rolls his eyes.
"I'll try my best."
…
"Please don't be Chet." Courtney crosses her fingers. "It has to be Jo or I!"
"Hey!" Chet shoots daggers. "I would crush anyone put in front of me."
"I sincerely doubt that." Courtney deadpans.
"Yeah, we have a better shot at winning this than you do." Jo replies.
Chef walks up to the team. "The person going up for this final round is Jo."
Jo cheers. "YES!"
"You better deliver." Chet says sternly.
"Good luck." Brick says.
…
"Sorry that I lost, I was so close." Bowie looks disappointed in himself.
"You performed the best of any of us who went so far." Staci assures.
Bowie smiles. "Aw, thanks-"
"But you still didn't win, so we could be screwed, haha!" Staci laughs.
Bowie's smile drops as Noah puts his hands together in prayer. "Please, please be Izzy!"
Chef walks up. "It's Mary."
Noah sighs. "We're probably doomed."
Mary shakes her head. "Don't worry guys. I may not be as strong as Scott or Jo, but I have something they don't."
"And what would that be?" Noah questions.
"A plan."
…
We cut to Jo, Mary, and Scott on the platform for the final round. "BEGIN!"
Jo runs towards Mary, who sees it coming and runs away. Scott runs up to Jo while she's distracted, and swings towards her stomach. It hits, knocking her to the ground. While he tries to shove her off the platform, Mary comes up from behind and swings, knocking him off the platform.
"And the Gold Team is up for elimination!" Chris announces as Jo stands up.
"You won't be able to take advantage in a one on one fight!" Jo says. "Don't run away this time, let's fight!"
Mary just stands there without a word at the edge of the platform.
"Are you just going to stand there, or will you face me?" Jo asks. Mary doesn't respond again, causing Jo to get angry and runs towards her. Before Jo's swing can hit Mary, Mary side steps, causing Jo to lose her balance at the edge of the platform. Mary knocks her off, ending the challenge.
"And Mary scores for the Amber Team, making them the last team to be safe!" Chris announces. "This means that the Amethyst Team will also be up for elimination tonight!"

Noah takes a sigh of relief. "I'm so relieved, I thought that we would lose that which would've been very bad for me."

"Of course I had a plan. Jo is easy to anger."

Chef scoffs. "I would've won that."

Jo screams into her hands out of frustration. "How did I lose to Mary? It sucks that the Amber Team won." Jo sighs. "One of them probably has Sky's advantage, the fact that they have immunity makes this worse. I need to find out which one of them has the advantage."

"At least everyone on the Gold Team lost today, so they can't blame me in particular."

"I blame Scott for our loss! It's time to finally send him home after he cost us the win."

We cut to Jacques, Taylor, and Blaineley. "It's going to be Scott, right?" Jacques asks.
"Yeah, he ruined everything for us. Time to avenge my girls!" Taylor agrees.
"Easy boot." Blaineley shrugs.

"This is completely deserved."

Later, we see Scott talking to Blaineley. "You know who I want to target." he says.
"Jacques?"
"Yup. I know you don't really like him either." Scott says.
"It was that obvious?" Blaineley laughs.
"Very." Scott replies dryly. "Will you vote with me? Remember, I did play my idol on you after all."
"I remember." Blaineley says. "That did more for me than anything Jacques did."

Later, we see Taylor and Blaineley. "So…" Taylor starts. "I know you and Jacques are a duo, but-"
"I'm fine with voting for him if that's what you want." Blaineley cuts off.
"Oh… really? You are?" Taylor asks.
"I am, he's been pissing me off for weeks." Blaineley scoffs. "Getting rid of him would be a dream."

"Hm… honestly, Blaineley wanting Jacques gone makes me consider voting for Scott. I think either way I'd be safe in a team of three. but Blaineley hates Jacques so I wouldn't be outnumbered if we were the last three on the team like I thought… what to do, what to do?"

Cut to Amethyst Team
We see Courtney, Brick, and Jo looking for the idol while discussing the vote. "Who do you guys want to target?" Jo asks while looking in a bush.
"MK. She did cheat last time, so-"
"It has to be Dwayne." Courtney cuts Brick off.
"Dwayne? But MK-"
"Dwayne enabled her cheating, and he's the one with the least strength of the three." Courtney cuts him off again to explain her reasoning. "We can't think about who deserves to go home the most, it's about who we can most optimally send home."
"She's right." Jo agrees. "Chet has proven that he can win a tiebreaker, and MK would be a threat in an intelligence challenge. Dwayne isn't really good at anything."
Brick sighs. "I still think it should be MK."
"We outnumber you on this stance, and we're voting for Dwayne. That's an order!" Jo says.
Confessional: Courtney
"I will NOT let morals screw me over again like it has so many times this season."

Elsewhere, we see Operation: TYTO also searching for the idol. "I don't think we're gonna find it before the elimination." MK worries.
"We have to keep looking, it's all we've been doing for the past few days." Dwayne says.
"While we look, who should we vote for? Jo proved today that she's beatable in a tiebreaker. Just make her angry or something." Chet suggests. MK has a hesitant look, causing Chet to sigh. "What's the hang up on this plan?"
"We haven't found the idol yet, which makes me think the other alliance has. They'll probably play the idol on Jo because that weakness was exploited, which makes me think we should go for a less obvious option." MK replies.
"So, Brick or Courtney?" Dwayne asks.
"Yeah."
"Alright, which one should we go for?"
Cut to Gold Team at the campfire ceremony
"Welcome Gold Team! You're pretty familiar with this place, huh? Well, one of you won't have to see it again after this. Get voting!"

"You may think you have me cornered, but I've had you beat up here for weeks." Scott points to his brain while voting for Jacques.
"You were a traitor who cost us multiple team members for your own self interest, it ruined my sage burning! This is payback." Jacques votes for Scott.
Taylor has a bored expression while writing a name.
Blaineley smirks as she puts her vote into the urn.
Voting Over
"If anyone has found a hidden immunity idol and wants to play it, now would be the time to do so…"

"Alright. Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will have to leave the campfire ceremony immediately. I'll read the votes."

"1st vote… Jacques."
Jacques scoffs before scowling in Scott's direction.
"2nd vote… Scott. That's one vote Scott, one vote Jacques."
Scott scowls at Jacques in return. Taylor and Blaineley exchange a glance.
"3rd vote… Jacques. Two votes Jacques, one vote Scott, one vote left…"
Jacques's jaw drops while Blaineley grins at him.
"69th person voted out of Total Drama Ultimate… Jacques! That's 3, you're out."
…
Jacques quickly stands up. "Are you kidding me?! You choose to keep Scott over me?!" Jacques questions angrily.
"Bye!" Blaineley says in a taunting voice. "I've been tired of you for weeks at this point."
"I helped save you back in phase 1!" Jacques growls.
"You should never trust a diva like me." Blaineley shrugs.
"What about you, Taylor?!"
"Meh." Taylor doesn't give a real response.
"Time to go, bud." Scott snickers.
"Scott is right. Jacques, please leave." Chris gestures for him to make his exit. Jacques flips the team off before leaving.
Confessional: Scott
Scott laughs. "He was so angry after the button thing, but I pulled through again! Remember when I was down in numbers 5-1? I've been making a great comeback."

"I decided to go with Jacques. I'll be the swing vote next time since I doubt Scott and Blaineley are close. With that, I think I'm going to be the power player of this team!"

Courtney growls. "If we had just kept Scarlett, we would not be in this situation at all! I'm confident I can beat Dwayne, but it's still frustrating." She takes a deep breath. "I will NOT go easy here! I've been through hell and back on this season alone, let alone this whole series! I am not going down so easily!"

MK looks legitimately nervous. "I was scared that the votes would be on me. I hope Dwayne pulls this off."

We cut to Dwayne and Courtney both standing on logs on the beach. Each has their hand tied to a connecting rope. There are two piles of rope that connect. "Your challenge is very simple." Chris begins to explain. "Both of you are going to pull your rope as hard and fast as you can. Eventually the rope in the middle will straighten out, which is where the real difficult part of the challenge will begin. You'll be trying to pull your opponent off of their log. The person who gets pulled off of their log first is out of the game. Understood?"
Both Courtney and Dwayne nod. Chef blows a whistle, signaling that the challenge is on. Courtney and Dwayne both quickly begin pulling their rope, causing Jo to be a bit shocked. "Huh, surprised the old man is doing so well." she comments.
Courtney realizes that Dwayne is keeping up and her determined expression turns into a scowl as she picks up the pace, now easily outpacing Dwayne. "Come on Dwayne, faster!" MK cheers.
"Yeah, we can't have Courtney win!" Chet adds. This comment doesn't help, as it only further annoys Courtney who's now at a blazing speed.
"Courtney far ahead right now, this might be a blowout!" Chris commentates on the challenge.
Dwayne looks worried as Courtney is nearing the end of her pile of the rope. He lets out a yell as he picks up the pace, which causes Courtney to do the same. She makes it to the end of her pile and begins pulling, causing Dwayne to nearly fall off.
"You're done!" Courtney yells at the top of her lungs. Dwayne tries to keep his balance, but another strong tug from Courtney forces Dwayne off his log and out of the competition.
"And Dwayne is the 70th person voted out of Total Drama Ultimate!" Chris announces.
"Yeah, that's right! Take your cheater enabling ass home." Courtney taunts in the heat of the moment as she jumps off her log and throws her rope towards Dwayne. She takes some deep breaths as Jo walks up to congratulate her.
There are no congratulations for Dwayne however, as Chet and MK walk over to the newly eliminated player. "I'm sorry guys, I tried my best." Dwayne sighs while looking at the ground.
Chet groans. "Operation: TYTO might be on life support."
MK has a frown on her face. "This sucks, things will be different without you around."
Dwayne chuckles. "I'm sad to be leaving, but I'm glad that I'll get to see Junior again! As for you guys, I enjoyed the time we had on this team. You two are both smart players and I know you can get out of this situation, come up with some good schemes to turn the tides! I'll be rooting for you two, my island children."
MK groans. "Island children? You're so damn corny."
Dwayne widens his arms. "Can I get a group hug before I go?"
Chet shrugs. "MK was right, you are corny… but sure."
The Operation: TYTO trio share a group hug before Dwayne separates from the two and makes his exit.

"Weirdly enough, I think I'll actually miss Dwayne…"

Courtney takes some deep breaths. "I got a bit hot headed there with how I conducted myself after winning the tiebreaker, but I'm safe! Final 30, baby!"

We cut to Chris alone after the campfire. "Well, I think that wraps up this episode! 70/100 cast members have been eliminated, and only 30 remain. Who will go next time? There's only one way to find out, and that's by watching the next episode of… Total Drama Ultimate!"
And that's it for episode 31! Sorry that this chapter is so short, it's admittedly a bit of a filler after a lot of twists and turns the past few episodes and I didn't feel the need to artificially stretch it, episode 32 has more content.
Jacques- This was a bit of a long time coming, he would've been a phase 1 boot I believe if phase 1 ended at final 50 like originally planned. I know some people were rooting for Jacques to outlast Josee, but let's be real. He was one of the least important characters to the story left, and he was difficult to write for and added less. This wasn't ever going to be his season, but he played a decent role at points. Now Gold Team's story can finally advance, how will the remaining trio do without him?
Dwayne- Speaking of people who stay longer than expected, it's Dwayne! Legit this guy survived elimination so many times, he was originally going to be one of the pre-Julia elims on Blue Team instead of Leonard. I'll go into more detail when the season ends, but it was a miracle he survived this long to begin with. But honestly, I'm not upset. Dwayne was a popular character who had a nice dynamic with MK, and no one would expect someone like him to survive this long. How will Chet and MK do without him is the question.
