Recap
Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: The 22th day of the first round was reaching it end as the final set of matches were about to begin. First up was Dezel taking on the burst linker Centurea Sentry. Dezel put up a good fight but he was ruthlessly cut down by Centurea Sentry swordsmanship. Next up was Quark vs Mayvin. Both old men gave it their all but it was Mayvin who came out on top as Quark was defeated. Next it was the demon clown Jester vs Miyabi and his navi Shadowman. The clown proves to be more dangerous them everyone thought as he target Miyabi to win the match angering much of the crowd. Lastly it was the fallen Shepard Artorius as he took on the Nobody Xenmas. Both were intense as they didn't hold back with each other. But it the end it was Artorius who emerge the victor. Now it was time for the first round final day as the last of the matches are set to begin.

Chapter 69
Round 1 end
Nene Pov: It was now the 23th of the tournament and the last day of the first round. This been a long time coming as the round will finally ends. "Man hard to believe the first round will be over." Taiki said. "I know we spend a whole month here. I wonder if any one notice us gone?" Tagiru ask. "Doubt that Tagiru, that Master hand guy said time flow differently here. My guess almost no time have past on our world." Yuu said. " Then we have more then enough time to complete in this thing." Ryoma said. " Agreed now perhaps we should focus on the next match. Kiriha is fighting next." I said as the blonde smirk as he got up. " Yeah my team is ready to fight." He said. " You sure your up against one of those burst linkers Graphite Edge. We know those guy are pretty tough." Taiki said. "Relax Kudo, we got this we'll show them the power of team Blue flare." Kiriha said as he walk away to get ready for his match. " He is full of himself as ever." Shoutmon said annoy. " It just how Kiriha is. It best to let him do things his way." I said. " True, besides Kiriha tough he got this." Tagiru said. " Look like it about to start." Airu said as we look to the ring. We saw Kiriha walk into the ring as we saw his opponent. He was a man in black knight like armor arm with 2 swords on his back. "Alright it time to start the first match of the day. We have the general of Team Blue flare Kiriha Aouma vs the earth knight of the green legion Graphite edge." Milton said. "Sup kid let have some fun today." Graphite Edge said as he wave. "Whatever were crushing you into the ground Reload Greymon!" Kiriha shout as he call out his Digimon. "Alright it look like both sides are ready. So let set the field." Meyer said as the ar field activate. We saw it was now a snowy mountain top. " And it the Hieno mountain. Alright let get to it. Smashers clash!" Meyer shout as the match soon begins.
Kiriha and Greymon vs Graphite edge
"Get him Greymon!" Kiriha shout as Greymon charges at the burst linker. Graphite Edge move in time as the Digimon rushes past him. "Slant!" He shout as he slashes his sword into Greymon side making him cry out. " Atomic tail!" Greymon shout as he swung his tail blade down as Graphite Edge cross his swords to stop it as he holds his ground. " Woah this guy is tough if he can hold off Greymon like this." Shoutmon said amaze. "Appear so, So Kiriha should be careful." I said. Graphite Edge pushes Greymon back as he moves back. "Take this you walking handbag, Vorpal strike!" He shout as he thrust his sword forward as the blade look to extend and slam into Greymon pushing him back. "Mega flame!" Greymon shout as he fires his flame breath at the burst linker. "Spinning shield!" Graphite Edge shout as he spun his swords to counter the flames. "Kiriha I need more for this." Greymon said. "On it Reload Mailbirdramon!" Kiriha shout as he calls out the bird Digimon. " Greymon/Mailbirdramon Digi Xros!" Kiriha shout as his Xros loader glows. " Digi Xros Metalgreymon!" They shout as they combine. "Well shit." Graphite Edge said looking worry as he avoids getting crush by Metalgreymon claw. "Vertical square!" he shout as he draw a square in the air as it slam into Mtealgreymon forcing him back. "End this!" Kiriha shout. "Giga destroyer!" Metalgreymon roars as he fires his laser barrage at Graphite Edge. But suddenly the burst linker vanish and appears he appears in front of Metalgreymon face. "It been fun kid but it over Starburst stream!" Graphite Edge shout as he thrust his sword 16 times as a barrage of blue energy strikes slam into Metalgreymon making him cry out as he spilt back into his components and were recall to Kiriha Xros loader. Kiriha look stun. "And it looks to be over, the winner is Graphite Edge." Milton said. Kiriha left the ring without a word. "Woah he lost, that Edge guy is brutal." Tobari said. 'Will Kiriha be alright?" Taiki ask.
I nob. "He'll be fine, most likely sulk somewhere to cool off. Don't hold it against him." I said. " But this prove Graphite Edge is strong. We need to be prepared should one of us end up fighting him." Ryoma said. "Right, let see what the next match will be like." Tagiru said as we waited for the next match to start. Jeri Pov: We were in awe as Graphite Edge was able to defeat Kiriha partners with great skill. " Holy shit that guy took down a freaking Digimon!" Kazu shout as he grab the sides of his head in shock. " Shouldn't be surprising Kazu, we seen those burst linker4s to be pretty powerful and from what Kirito group told us." Henry said. " Yeah, we need to have a plan to deal with then." Kenta said. " Or else we are sooo screw." Terriermon said from on top of Henry head. " Relax everyone, I'm sure we will be able to handle them when the times comes." I said trying to clam them down. " Jeri right, we need to keep ours heads on straight." Guradromon said. " Alright, then let focus on the next match. It me and Terriermon vs Scarlet from Team SSSN." Henry said. " Shouldn't be too much to beat that wannabe pirate." Terriermon said with a smirk. " Maybe, he look pretty strong during the Vytal festival." Kenta said. " Don't worry we have this handle guys. Come on Terreiermon." Henry said as they start to leave. "Will Henry be ok?" Suzy ask, I smile to the 12 year old. " Don't worry he will be fine, had faith in your brother." I said assuring her. "Yeah Greenie got this." Impmon said. " Hey it about to start." Mako said excited as we look to the ring to see Henry and Terriermon walk in. Scarlet came in from the other side. "Alright it time for the next match. We have the Tamer of wisdom Henry Waver and his partner Terriermon vs the pirate of team SSSN Scarlet." Milton said. " Hope your ready to walk the plank punk." Terriermon said. "Well see about that." Scarlet said as he ready his weapons.
"Alright look like both fighters are ready, so let set the field." Meyer said as the ring started to change as it look to be a warehouse with tall shelves. "And it the Eighth clan warehouse, let get to the action. Smashers clash!" Meyer shout as the match begins.
Henry and Terriermon vs Scarlet

Terriermon digivolve to Gargomon
Scarlet rushes at Gargomon as he as he try to slash at the rabbit man as Gargomon use his gun hands to block it. "Dude personal space much? Bunny pummel!" Gargomon shout as his fist glows green as he slam it against Scarlet knocking him back. Scarlet move back as he fire his flintlock pistol toward our friends as they took cover behind a shelf. "This place make fighting tricky. There are many places for Scarlet to ambush them." Liollmon said. "True, but knowing Henry he have a plan." I said having faith in my boyfriend. Gargomon jump out from hiding to aim his guns. "Here some real fire power Gargo lasers!" He shout as he open fire. Scarlet ran as the energy bullets rip apart the shelf as Scarlet got out of sight. " How about you come out and fight us matey." Gargomon said as he walk around looking for Scarlet as Henry stay close to his partner. "Careful Gargomon in this close space, he can easily come from any direction." Henry said as bullet came from above them. Gargomon shield Henry as he shot up making Scarlet take cover.
"Let take the high ground." Gargomon said as he pick up Henry and use the shelves to jump up and land on top of them. There they saw Scarlet as he ran at them. Scarlet swung at Gargomon with no mercy while he fire his gun at close range. Gargomon held the teen off as Henry was looking through his deck for something that could help. He look to find what he needed. "Here comes help Gargomon. Digi-modify Glademon cross slash activate!" Henry shout as he swipe the care. We saw a pair of sword form in Gargomon hands as he use them to parry Scarlet attacks. Scarlet did a downward strike as Gargomon deflected it with a cross block. He then kick Scarlet in the chest to force him back. " Sorry you didn't make the cut Cross slash!" Gargomon shout as he rushes forward and slash Scarlet across the chest. Scarlet was send flying into the wall out cold. "And it over folks, Thanks to Henry quick thinking he and Gargomon have claim the match." Milton said. "They did it!" Suzy shout with a cheer. "That they did, that mean his crest is safe for the round." I said. " For how long." Kenta said. 'All we can do is hope for the best four eyes." Impmon said. I nod. " Yeah, for now let wait for them to get back and watch the final match." I said as we waited for the others to get back. Takato Pov: Things went as I expected them to go for Henry. He one of the smartest people I know as he was able to out smart Scarlet quite easily. "Look like Brainiac is making it to the next round." Rika said with a smirk. " Appear so, with this his crest is secure for now." Renamon said. "True, but we still have more to get through." I said concern "You alright Takato, something look to be troubling you." Mythra said. "Just curious about the next match. That girl we met on the first day Ryuhoshi is fighting next." I said. " Right her, just who is she it like we know her from somewhere." Rika said. 'Not sure, whoever she is there something strange about her. But it her opponent I'm more worry about." I said with my arms cross.
"What you mean?" Kenji ask. "He was the rank 2 Espada Barrigan Luisenban. The visord Hachigen told me he was very dangerous. See each of the Espada reflect an aspect of death." I said. "Aspect of death?" Elize ask. " Yeah, Stark was solitude, Harribel was sacrifice, Ulquiorra was nihilism and Grimjoww was destruction." I said. 'And this Barrigan?" Rika ask. " Old age, he had a power to make people age around him, it even worst in his release form. Once there he have a attack that will age everything to dust in a instant. Beating him will not be easy." I said. "And Ryuhoshi is facing this guy, that not good." Pyra said worry. " Let hope she have a plan for him, here they come." I said as we saw the fighters coming in. Ryuhoshi turn to look at Barrigan to get a good look at him. He was a large man with dark skin wearing white robes fit for royalty. His left eye was blind with a scar over it as his mask fragment was that of a crown on his forehead. In his hand was a large black battle ax. "Alright it time for the final match of the first round. We have the mask fighter Ryuhoshi vs the Espada Barrigan." Milton said. "Disgraceful, that I must fight a worthless child." Barrigan said annoy. Ryuhoshi flick her wrists as a pair of blades deployed from her gauntlets. "You're an arrogant one aren't you. Guess I need to take you down a peg." She said as they got ready. 'Alright both fighters are ready to start. So let choose the field." Milton said as the ar field activate. The field was now on top of a mountain trail/ "And it the Rayfalk Spirit crest. Alright let finish this Smashers clash!" Meyer shout as the match soon begins.
Ryuhoshi vs Barrigan
Ryuhoshi made the first move as she charges at the Arrancar. "Foolish you walk into your death." He said as he swung his ax down at her. But Ryuhoshi move to the right to avoid it. She then slash his arm with her right blade drawing blood. "Harsh rebuttal!" She shout as she slash him with her left boot blade and does a full spin kick to the right side. Barrigan was push back as he look mad. " How, how are you not affected?" He ask in shock as he swung at her as she jump back. What is Barrigan talking about. Ryuhoshi move back then charge at him. "Gouging spin!" She shout as she front flip onto her hands and strike him with her boots blades while spinning. "Bala!" Barrigan shout as he shot the energy burst at her. She just walk slowly as she deflect the attack without effort. "Why isn't my aspect of death working on you girl answer me!" Barrigan shout as he jump at her as he try to cut her with his ax as she effortless dodges him. "Wait is his power not working at her?" Elize ask. "But how is that possible?" Pyra ask. "No idea, let see how this play out." I said as we focus on the match. "Avalanche fang!" Ryuhoshi shout as she did a back flip to stun Barrigan to stun. Then follow with a clockwise spin kick to knock him back. " The reason your aspect is not working is because I'm protect by time itself. Now it time to finish this you filthy Arrancar!" She shout with hatred in her voice as her arm blades glows a bright blue as she rushes at him. "These are the wings that will lead to a new tomorrow!" She shout as she gave Barrigan a 10 slash hit combo making him unable to move. She threw her arms back as the blades extend with a blue light as they look like butterfly wings. "Shining wing dance!" She shout as she land an x shape slash against Barrigan chest as he was send flying out of the edge of a chiff and out of bounds. "And it over folks, the winner by ring out is Ryuhoshi!" Milton shout. "Woah that was incredible." Lunamon said in awe.
"She strong but what did she mean she was protected by time itself?" Rika ask. " I might have an idea but it can wait, here comes master hand." I said as Master Hand came onto the stage. "Well done to all our fighters who made it through the first round. But the tourament is far from over. Rest up, for tommorow the second round begins." He said as he took his leave from the stage. " Come on let head back to get ready for tomorrow." I said as we make our way out. First round is over as it time to start round 2. Wonder what in store for us.
