"You sure this is a goid idea, what if Shocket freaks out." Nebula asked Rocket.
"Yes as she gets you're important to me. She's playing with Groot." Rocket told her.
It was a few nights later and Rocket had invited Nebula over for dinner so Shocket could meet Nebula hoping she would be okay meeting her but for most of the day, Shocket had been calm, having MODOK Puffs, storytime along with playing with Groot besides having an nap so hoped she'd be cool with Nebula plus he'd ordered pizza for dinner seeing Shocket stare at Nebula with curious, anxious eyes which Nebula got. Rocket had told her about Shocket and how she and Linda/Byrdie had escaped from The Collector's foryress but she was still getting adjusted to being here so wasn't pushing her to like her seeing Shocket shyly give her a thumbs up before going back to playing.
"I think it means she approves of you, I think." Rocket said confused. Nebula shrugged as the pizza was here going to answer it and paid for the food hoping Shocket would warm up to her in time.
"That's true Nebula. Maybe Linda can help her with this." Rocket told her making Nebula nod.
A bit later after Nebula had left, Shocket was getting ready for bed, doing her relaxation routine like her dad and Groot had taught her including the yoga Groot had taught her which was helping her relax before storytime feeling avyawn escape.
"Somebody sounds ready for bed, after a fun day, then meeting Nebula. It's okay that it takes you a while to get used to new people like your cousin, Casey who I should introduce you to." Rocket said to her before reading to her.
Shocket stirred later the next morning, getting up and heading to the kitchen seeing a bowl of cereal and milk waiting for her guessing her dad and Groot were out knowing they'd be back soon eating wondering what Linda was doing right now maybe having breakfast or training taking a breath to quiet her anxiety putting the radio on which was helping make the house less quiet. After a bit, Groot and her dad returned to the house hugging them making Rocket get it.
"Awww it's okay kiddo, I was talking to Aunt Roxy and Oreo, Casey's moms." Rocket told her.
"Ohhhhh that's cool, but feel a bit better now you're back." Shocket told him yawning.
He had a feeling she'd been thinking about Linda reassuring her, that Linda was doing training with the Fantastic Four making Shocket sigh but stunned they'd be seeing Avengers Campus which made her nervous feeling Groot squeeze her paw gently as Rocket reassured her it would help her like when she'd went to the New York Public Library but once she saw how cool it was, she loved it so guessed the same idea would work with Avengers Campus which Groot agreed with getting Shocket to take deep-breaths before leaving the house.
