Hey, guys! Welcome to the new chapter of Aurora in the Loud House! I hope that you guys will all enjoy the chapter...also, I'm sorry if the chapter is shorter than usual, but since the last chapter was so action-packed and long, I've decided to write the Sweet Spot Episode as it is for a rather simple, short chapter, but don't worry, the next chapter will definitely be longer and be more action-packed...anyway, I don't own anything, except for my OCs.
NOW LET'S GET ON WITH THE STORY!
{Aurora in the Loud House Theme Song!}
Kira:
Hello, everyone! My name is Kira Baxter!
Just your average little girl who lives in Royal Woods and loves reading comics, hanging out with friends, and playing video games!
Although, if I could be honest with you guys, lately, my life has been anything BUT normal!
Because you see, when I was only eight years old, my whole life changed for the better!
Starla:
Whatsup, guys! Starla Butterfly is the name, saving people and kicking evil's butt is the game!
Now, I know that you probably don't know who I am, but you may know me better by my superhero name, Queen Butterfly!
Yep, that's me, alright, the sexiest, most powerful heroine on the whole planet...well, that's who I used to be, anyway...
It's kind of a long story, but let's just say that when I was only 997,000-years-old, my whole life changed...for the better or worst, I'm still undecided on that...
Kira:
It felt just like any other average day with me getting an A on my Math Test, having a great lunch with my friend Joshie, and when I was making my way over to my best friend Lincoln Loud's house after school, I just so happen to notice what seems to be a confused, kind-looking old woman making her way down an empty street.
An eight-year-old Kira Baxter could be seen skipping down a sidewalk that belong to an empty street with a cheerful expression on her face as the little girl hummed under her breath joyfully and was about to make a turn to head towards the direction of the Loud House but stopped as a confused Kira spotted what seems to be a kind-looking old woman making her way through the intersection very slowly due to her body looking tiny and frail.
Starla:
Let's just say that three years ago, I've faced the biggest battle of my immortal life with probably my biggest, toughest, evilest supervillain ever, and while I've come out on top and saved Royal Woods from facing total destruction, it came...with a heavy price.
A heavily injured, bleeding, and panting Queen Butterfly lay on a huge crater that was formed around her as the city of Royal Woods was laid in ruins with many buildings destroyed, the area covered in hot flames, and the smell of death radiating across the Royal Wood skies...but besides that, the town remained more or less safe and protected thanks to their favorite immortal superhero coming into save the day from a powerful female Fairy/Demon Hybrid as Starla was able to not only defeat her but also forced the mysterious supervillain to retreat and leave the city of Royal Woods for good...however, the battle was not without some sacrifices as Starla was forced to give up her body and powers to save the city and people she loves dearly.
Kira:
I was about to dismiss the old woman and continue making my way towards my friend's house when suddenly I noticed a speeding car barreling towards her with the old woman completely oblivious to it! So, without hesitation, I rushed over to push the Old Woman out of the way and saved her life!
Shrugging, a cheerful Kira was about to turn around and continue on her merry way, only to then gasped in shock when the little Black-Haired Girl spotted what seems to be an out-of-control car barreling through the streets and heading straight towards the oblivious, smiling old woman as, without thinking, a heavily worried Kira rush into the intersection and all but leaped over to the old woman as she tackled the grunting old lady onto the ground with the speeding car narrowly zooming past them as Kira panted heavily from the heavily close call while the old woman remains silent.
Starla:
I've lost everything that day...my power...my strength...hell, I've even lost my own damn height and muscular body! But what I was more worried about was my city. Who will be there to protect the humans that I've grown to care for? So, with no other option left, I've decided to swallow my pride and ask my Mother for help.
After being able to teleport herself back to the Fairy Dimension thanks to the help of an old friend, a stoic Starla Butterfly floated through the night sky of an ancient, glorious magical city filled with thousands upon thousands of male and female Fairies of all ages and sizes as the blonde-haired Fairy made her way to what seems to be a giant castle placed at the end of the town as Starla landed on the ground while wearing a black cloak to cover her body as she glances up at the huge doors leading to the castle and took a deep breath to steel her nerves as the former powerful magical heroine lifted up her shaking arm and tentatively knocked on the doors as Starla waited patiently and nervously for someone to answer it.
Kira:
Once the speeding car drove away, I turned to the old woman to check if she was okay when suddenly she latched onto my left arm and gave me an unsettling grin before a flash of white light covered my vision, and I was suddenly standing in a world full of magic and wonder.
Taking deep breathes to calm down her rapidly beating heart, Kira breathed heavily as she was able to compose herself enough to turn over to check on the old woman, who continued remaining quiet and still as Kira gave her a concerned look and was about to ask if she was alright and didn't suffer any injuries from the tackle when suddenly the old lady reaches out to grab onto the little girl's left arm rather tightly and a now scared Kira glances up at the old woman, who gave her a rather unsettling grin as she raises her arm and hovers it over the eight-year-old girl's face as, before she could react, a huge flash of light rang out.
Starla:
After being able to get some help on getting back to my home dimension, the Fairy Dimension, I went over to the Butterfly Castle and faced my Mother, who was not enthusiastic to see me after...I will tell you about it another time, but basically, after much begging and pleading, my Mother eventually agreed to help me and come up with a brilliant solution to my rather troubling problem.
Thirty long agonizing minutes later, the giant castle doors were slowly being opened to reveal the Queen of the Fairies herself, Eleanor Butterfly, flying out to view as Starla was surprised to see her Mother answering the door instead of their Guards or Servants, but was able to compose herself enough to fly up to her Mother, who stood in a battle pose of the unexpected intruder as Eleanor was about to attack the Fairy, only to see a sheepish-looking Starla taking off her cloak as she waved at her shocked Mother awkwardly. Stunned by the sight of her runaway daughter suddenly coming back into her life again after being gone for nearly a century, Eleanor then scowled furiously and was about to close the doors, only for a desperate Starla to fly in and pleads to her Mother to help her with her new condition as, after much talking and begging, the Queen of the Butterflies reluctantly decided to help out her daughter from her mess one last time.
Kira:
Once I have recovered from the sensational experience, I was treated by a couple of Fairies, one that was as tall as a freaking house while the other was about as tall as a toy, and they were able to tell me what happened to Queen Butterfly on the darkest day in Royal Woods History. Shocked and devasted by the news, I asked how can I help them, and they told me that there is a way for Starla to recover her old magic and strength back, but it required her to fuse with a Human Being with a pure heart...which was me, surprisingly.
Yelping in pain, Kira rubbed her eyes as she blinked a couple of times and then gasped in surprise when the eight-year-old girl realized that she was standing in what seemed to be a small starry dimension with several large planets floating around her and shooting stars zooming through space as Kira 'oohhhhhed' and 'ahhhhed' at the amazing, magical, spectacle before her, only to then get distracted by Eleanor and Starla teleporting in front of her as they smirked down at her cockily while Kira couldn't help but stare at them in shock and awe.
Starla:
It was a really, really, really ancient and powerful spell that only my Mother knows, but basically, it was a way for me to recover my magical prowess and supernatural strength by fusing myself with a Human Being that was pure of mind and strong of will. My Mom had used her magic to scan the entire planet for people worthy of sharing my power, and, while there were a few great candidates, we couldn't help but be drawn over to a little 8-year-old girl living in Royal Woods whose heart and will seem to be stronger than most.
Once Eleanor had explained to her daughter an ancient, powerful spell that was forgotten in time that should be able to help Starla regain her former powers and strength...sort of, the Butterflies were quick to use the All-Seeing Orb to scan the whole Planet Earth for a person of pure heart and strong will as they were able to find the person worthy of Queen Butterfly's powers, which just so happens to be an eight-year-old girl living in Royal Woods who was named Kira Baxter as, after giving her a small yet important test, they were quick to teleport her into the Queen of the Fairies Personal Pocket Dimension and explain a heavily confused Kira on what was going on.
Kira:
I was, of course, overwhelmed by the news, and I was planning on refusing the offer due to being too scared of getting all of the true responsibility and power of a superhero, but when Starla and her Mother made a good valid argument on how the citizens of Royal Woods hopelessly needed a hero to save the day and that I could use my magical powers to protect the people I love, I've eventually decided to agree to their offer and become the new protector of Royal Woods.
A bewildered, stunned Kira Baxter couldn't believe what Eleanor and Starla had explained to her as she had to take a minute to compose herself and think about the offer that they had given to her as, while the eight-year-old girl was scared about becoming a REAL superhero and face super powerful and scary villains that almost always seem to pop into the city of Royal Woods for some weird reason, the black-haired girl was eventually convinced by the Butterfly Family to agree to their proposal and become the protector of Royal Woods as the Former Queen Butterly Crimefighting Partner and also become Starla's Human Vessel to be able to channel her magical power through.
Starla:
Heh, getting the Kid to agree to our crazy plan was a real hassle, I can tell you that much. Hell, even I was a bit...hesitant to have an eight-year-old out there fighting crime and facing the true terror of the Royal Woods Rouge Gallery, but the situation was grim, and I was getting desperate to get a vessel to channel my power through and, thankfully, the Kid was able to see the seriousness of the situation as well and eventually agreed to become my new sidekick in crime!
After several tense minutes of thinking about this life-changing offer, Eleanor and Starla were relieved to see that Kira had agreed to their proposal as, after making sure that the black-haired girl had thought carefully about their deal and the many, many, many heroic responsibilities that the little girl has on her shoulders now, the Queen of the Fairies was quick to begin with the spell, which needed a lot of preparations and scented candles to be able to properly perform the magical ancient spell without suffering any ill side affects as Starla had decided to have a small chat with her new sidekick to get to know Kira better.
Kira and Starla:
And that was the day that the new Protector of Royal Woods, Aurora, was born!
A serious-looking Eleanor Butterly had finished making the preparations for the magically forbidden spell as she had interrupted Kira and Starla's friendly conversation to tell them that it was time as the girls nodded, and the duo walked over to stand inside of a magic spell circle as, after experiencing what seems to be an extremely long magical yet painful spell, a groaning Kira and Starla could be seen lying on the ground with the blonde-haired Fairy now having a symbol of a white butterfly planted on her chest while Kira has one on the palm of her smoking left hand.
After recovering from the aftereffects of the ancient, powerful spell, Kira and Starla slowly stood/flew up from the floor as they slowly turned to each other and couldn't help but be drawn over to each other mystically as the black-haired girl raised her glowing hand and the glowing Former Princess of the Fairy Dimension floated closer to her sidekick as their butterfly tattos glowed brightly.
Raising her glowing butterfly tattooed hand, a smirking Kira Baxter floated inside a beam of pure white magical energy as a grinning Starla Butterfly's body transformed into pure white magical energy and proceeds to fly over to phase into the eight-year-old girl's hand as Kira clenched her fist tightly and giant glowing white tendrils suddenly appeared as they began emitting from out of Kira's closed fist and envelopes her whole body as a flash of white light occurs and we see a cocky-looking Aurora floating in place with her whole body radiating with powerful magical energy as the Hybrid Human/Fairy Heroine struck a classic Victory Pose.
Kira!
Starla!
Let's Fly!
We cue to the middle of the night in Royal Woods as we see a grinning Halputta leading his group of Alligatormen to wreak mayhem and havoc across the large city as they spread out and began breaking everything in sight while also stealing money and expensive jewels from various stores as Halputta laughed evilly before gasping in surprise as a flash of white light flew past him and he and his Alligatormen glances up as the gang of mutants spotted a smirking Aurora floating in the air with the moon radiating behind her as all of the opponents glared at each other fiercely, and the Fusion Heroine of Royal Woods was quick to zoom down towards the group of Human/Alligator Hybrid Mutants with Halputta and his Alligatormen roaring loudly as they charged at her and an epic battle rang out.
Kira!
Starla!
Let's Fly!
Dusting off her hands, a smirking Aurora placed her hands on her hips as she floated above the heavily injured Alligatormen, who lay on the ground with pained, dazed expressions on their faces as the Magical Fusion Heroine was able to not only defeat Halputta and his Alligatormen but used her superhuman strength to literally ripped out the street from the pavement and used it to swiftly tie up the defeated, groaning Alligatormen as multiple reporters appeared onto the scene and were taking various pictures at Aurora as the Human/Fairy Magical Hybrid grinned down at them and was about to strike a 'Victory Pose!', but stopped as she spotted a heavily pissed of Chief Jameson glaring up at her, furious that the heroine once again caused massive amounts of collateral damage as Aurora waves at the Police Officer sheepishly before taking off into the air at high speeds as the citizens of Royal Woods cheered for their hero while Chief Jameson fumes angrily as he grumbles.
Flying at the speed of light, always ready for a fight!
With strength superior to Hercules and possessing magic that is oh so glorious!
Protector of Royal Woods, what is it to ya, toots?!
Her name is Aurora, the magical heroine that you could always rely!
Kira!
Starla!
Let's Fly!
Flying through the air at the speed of light, a glaring Aurora spotted what seems to be a giant 500-foot-tall green-skinned Cyclops monster making his way towards the city of Royal Woods as the blonde-haired Fusion Human/Fairy Heroine reacted quickly and zoomed forwards just as the Cyclops roared loudly and lifts up his huge foot as he was about to deliver a mighty stomp to try and destroy the town in one fall swoop, only for a beam of pure white energy to fly in under the foot and a scowling Aurora raised her muscular arms as she was able to cath the humungous foot with ease thanks to her superhuman strength as numerous citizens cheered and praised their heroine for saving their lives as Aurora winked down at them before glaring up at the Giant Cyclops Monster as she grunted and gave his foot a mighty shove that sends the screaming monster flying back as Aurora then flew up to the giant's face and pulled out her Pink Amulet as she fired a collosol beam of pink magical energy that collided against the Giant Cyclops's chest and it quickly washed over his giant body as the roaring monster was swiftly teleported into the Banishment Dimension and disappeared from sight as a smirking Aurora dusts off her hands in satisfaction.
Faced with a catastrophe, that is obviously not a fantasy!
Kira and Starla must unite to fight some crime!
And fuse into Aurora to make these villains say sayonara!
You know, if they're not...too injured to reply ;)
Kira!
Starla!
Let's Fly!
It was a normal day in Royal Woods as we see the Loud and Baxter Families taking a leisurely stroll together through the Tall Timbers Park as David and Lilith could be seen having small talk with Lynn Sr. and Rita with the former holding onto a giggling Lily as Lori was on the phone talking with her boyfriend, Leni was chasing around a butterfly, Luna was writing some lyrics for a new song on her journal, a laughing Luan was reading from her joke book, Lynn was kicking a soccer ball around, Lucy was floating cross-legged along under the shades of the nearby trees while trying to figure out a spell from her Great Grandma Harriet's Spellbook as several people could be seen spoked out of their minds at the sight of a flying emo kid, Lana was bouncing across mud puddles, Mary was helping Lola practice her catwalk...but it was clearly obvious that the light-brown-skinned little brat was trying to outdo the blonde-haired devil child as both egotistical kids were shoving each other relentlessly with a couple of glares on their faces, and Lisa was reading her scientific notes on Human/Fairy Experimentation from her high-tech tablet.
With Lincoln and Kira, we see both eleven-year-old kids walking ahead of the group a bit as they were discussing their favorite show ARGGH! with each other excitedly as the duo was subconsciously leaning closer and closer to each other until they were practically touching shoulders as Kira and Lincoln see this, and blush in slight embarrassment as they separated from each other and laughed sheepishly but thankfully and unthankfully, this awkward moment was ruined by Starla popping out of her sidekick's jacket as she pointed up with a serious, urgent look on her face.
Looking to where the Fairy was pointing, Kira and Lincoln gasped in shock at the sight of a grinning Imagination Man standing several feet away from them and was cheering excitedly at the sight of his latest imagination creation, which was a giant fire-breathing dragon, flying around in the air while breathing fire down at the forest below as Imagination Man laughing gleefully. Turning to each other, the trio shared a determined nod as they ran over to leap onto a couple of giant bushes, and, after making sure that no one could see them, Starla flew out of Kira's jacket with the black-haired girl quickly raising her glowing butterfly tattooed hand as the blonde-haired Fairy flew over to phase into the eleven-year-old girl's hand as Kira clenched her fist tightly and giant glowing white tendrils suddenly appeared as they wrapped around her body and a flash of white light occurs as we see Kira and Starla transforming into their fusion magical super form, Aurora!
Lincoln Loud, the Man with the Plan, whose strategies are always so grand!
Helps out Aurora on-demand with schemes and tricks that no villains can withstand!
The Power of Evil shall always fall to the Power of Justice, Magic, and, especially, when Aurora kicks their balls!
Yeah! No Villain can defeat the true might of the Hybrid Magical Butterly!
Kira!
Starla!
Let's Fly!
After Kira and Starla fused into their Fusion Human/Fairy Magical Form, Aurora was about to take off to face her childish yet oddly powerful foe but stopped as Lincoln spoke up and gave his friend a suggestion on how to deal with Imagination Man as Aurora perked up, loving the idea as she nodded and reached over to give a thankful kiss to Lincoln's cheek before flying off so fast that she resembled a white blur. Blushing in embarrassment from the unexpected kiss, Lincoln smiled a bit goofily before composing himself as he ran out of the bushes just as the Loud and Baxter Family spotted Imagination Man wreaking havoc in the city once more as they cowered in fear and were about to run away to safety but then beamed excitedly and in relief as they spotted a smirking Aurora flying past them.
Laughing maniacally at his latest imaginary creation burning everything in sight, Imagination Man then gasped in shock and anger as he spotted a familiar white blur flying into the scene, and a glaring Aurora was heading straight towards his Imaginary Dragon with her fists outstretched as the astral forms of Kira and Starla could be briefly seen flying beside her, and the fusion heroine proceeds to deliver a mighty punch across the Fake Dragon's face. Wincing at the sight of the Protector of Royal Woods giving his latest imaginary creation a brutal beat down, Imagination Man cried childishly as his precious knocked-out Imaginary Dragon crashed down to the ground with his large wings ripped out and his long neck tied up in knots as a stern-looking Aurora flew down to stand in front of Imagination Man to glare at him with her arms crossed.
Smiling at the Fusion Magical Heroine nervously, Imagination Man then lets out a loud painful girlish scream as a stoic Aurora lifted up her leg and delivered a mighty kick up Imagination Bob's lower region, causing him to fall down while holding onto his privates with a pained whimper as his Imaginary Helmet was knocked off his head and flew through the air as a grunting Lincoln ran into the scene and was able to leap and catch the powerful helmet in his arms as the white-haired boy landed on the floor and gave his friend a thumbs-up as a smiling Aurora nodded in approval while placing her feet on a groaning Imagination Man's back victoriously as the Loud/Baxter Family and the rest of the Civilians of Royal Woods cheered for their heroine's success in thwarting the villain's plan.
Fighting evil from east to west, no one can do it best
Then the fusion heroine, whose always right on time
To kick some evil bad guys butt and maybe spill a bit of blood,
So Villains, don't be sly or else...
Kira...
Starla...
Will Fly!
A smirking Aurora could be seen floating above the Loud House with Lincoln sitting on her right shoulder as the astral form of Kira sitting on her left shoulder, and the astral form of Starla sitting on top of her head as the Loud and Baxter Family could be seen standing in front of their house as Aurora, and the others flashed the readers a smirk, but then everyone frowned stoically as various villains like Lightasma, Techno Kathy, the Villain Society, Iama Cannivalwitsh, King Ox, Dr. Chaos, Copy Copy, The Phantom Ninja, Alexandra Bates and her smiling Genie Jasaar and her Genetically-Engineered Pet Elephant Manny, and The Amazing Spider-Guy began popping up out of nowhere as they surrounded our young faithful heroes.
Growing tense by the sight of their mortal enemies confronting them head-on, Aurora and the others were about to attack, but then gasped in shock/confusion as a large shadow covered their bodies, and the gang slowly looked up to see a giant version of the Mysterious Figure grinning down at them sadistically with his hands lightning up with blue fire as the Protector of Royal Woods and the Loud and Baxter Family turning to each other as they nodded, realizing the grim situation before them but wasn't willing to give up so easily as Aurora, Lincoln, and the others let out loud battle cries as they flew/ran forwards and an epic battle rang out as the title of the story appeared before the readers.
{Aurora in the Loud House Theme Song Over!}
{Aurora in the Loud House! Season 1, Episode 14: The Sweet Spot!/Are We Seriously Fighting Over A Fucking Car Seat?!}
"Hmmm, mmm, mmm, mmm, mmmm..." A happy Lincoln hummed as we cue to nighttime and see the white-haired boy residing in his bedroom in the Loud House as Lincoln was walking back and forth, getting ready for his Family's Road Trip tomorrow as he was packing up his stuff and placing it inside of his green duffel bag as the big-toothed boy dusts off his hands with a smile on his face. "Ah, finally finished."
"Hey, Linc."
"Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" Lincoln screamed fearfully while whirling around as he saw Starla resting against his bedroom window casually. "Starla! Geez, girl, you nearly gave me a heart attack!" Lincoln says while placing his hand on his still-beating heart as he was annoyed that Starla pulled a 'Lucy' on him.
"Heh, sorry about that, kid. I was flying around in the night looking for something fun to do since Kira is sleeping in her house and all of that, and when I flew past your house and saw you packing up some stuff late at night, I decided to fly over to see what's up?" A curious Starla asked as Lincoln calmed down and nodded as he walked over to sit down on his bed while turning around to face the blonde-haired Fairy.
"Oh, well, did Kira tell you about the Road Trip that my Family is taking tomorrow?"
"Vaguely, yeah, why?" Starla asked curiously while leaning against Lincoln's windowsill with her arms crossed.
"Well, you see, usually Family Road Trips are fun, right? Not so much for the Loud Family, unfortunately, since thirteen people have to be cramped inside of our family wagon, or as we affectionately call it, 'Vanzilla'." Lincoln says while pointing out of the window as Starla looks through it and saw Vanzilla parked outside of the Loud Family's Garage.
"I'm still gushing on how cool of a name that is for a van."
"Ikr?" Lincoln asked with a grin as Starla nodded with a smile. "Anyway, the reason why I'm apprehensive about tomorrow's road trip is that every seat in Vanzilla offers one kind of torture or another," Lincoln says matter-of-factly as Starla rolled her eyes at this and scoffed.
"Oh, come on, Lincoln, it can't be that bad," Starla says dismissively as Lincoln gave her a flat look before jumping out of his bed as he pulls up his mattress to reveal the above view of the van as the Loud Boy then circles the third seat from the front row.
"Well, for starters, Starla. Getting stuck next to Lily's car seat is no good because Lily tends to spit all over my comic books whenever I'm trying to read or throw her food at me." Lincoln says dryly as the white-haired boy x's out of the circled seat and then points to the back row. "The back row is so far away from Mom and Dad that it turns into the wild, wild west with the twins, who often fight each other with me in the crossfire," Lincoln said with an irritated glare while drawing a line across the back row as he then points at the first seat at the front of the van.
"And this seat has the exact opposite problem. It's right into Dad's sightline, and he scolds me for every single little thing that I do. Like eating in the car, reading my comic books, talking with Kira and my friends on my Walkie-Talkie, placing my foot on the seat, etc. Plus, it's next to the one-working speaker, and all my parents want to play is some sappy, boring, or embarrassing music from their youth." Lincoln says blankly while rolling his eyes as he x's out of that seat.
"And if you think that's bad, get a look of these seats. Trust me, it only gets a lot worse from here. For instance, there's the Sticky Seat that has used old gum stuck into it. The Soggy Seat from where Charles had peed on it. The Spring Seat from where a giant spring shot out of it and make it impossible for anyone to sit on it. And, finally, the Slanty Seat as it's basically unable to incline backwards, and my back hurts every time that I sit on it." Lincoln says while x's and lines out more seats. "Do you still doubt me?" Lincoln asked Starla while turning to face her with a daring glare and crossed arms as Starla slowly blinks at the chart that Lincoln had laid out under his bed.
"Well, after seeing all of that, I have to say no. Vanzilla really needs to get fixed up, by the way," Starla says while flying down towards Lincoln as the white-haired boy shrugs.
"Yeah, we keep telling that to Dad all of our lives, but he keeps ignoring us. Anyway, luckily, judging by my calculations, there's only one seat in the whole van that is safe from it all, and I call it...The Sweet Spot!" Lincoln shouted dramatically while pointing at the first seat from the second row as it has the words, Sweet Spot, written on with a huge circle forming around it. "And tomorrow, it will be mine, 'cause I'm gonna stake it out tonight."
"Oh, nice, can I tag along?" Starla offered as Lincoln stared up at her in surprise.
"Well, sure, you can, but I'm surprised that you want to help me out with something so small."
"Eh, I'm already small, so why don't I try fixing small problems?" Starla says jokingly as Lincoln laughed a bit. "But, on a more serious note, I'm bored as hell, so why not? Besides, it's been a while since we have an adventure together, so let's do this, Lincoln!"
"Right!" Lincoln cheered as both he and Starla dropped down to the ground before jumping back up as both of them wear a light gray cap with two black lines on their cheeks, a long-sleeved dark gray turtleneck sweater, long black pants, and black shoes.
After dressing up in their sneaky attire, Lincoln reaches out to grab his green duffel bag while Starla flew ahead to phase through the door as she looked around and smirked as the young Butterfly noticed that all of the Loud Family were fast asleep and was quick to open the door for Lincoln as she signaled him to make their move. Nodding, Lincoln placed his duffel bag over his back as he and Starla started sneakily making their way down the dark hallway with the blonde-haired Butterfly increasing her aura to shed some light for her and the white-haired boy, who accidentally stepped over his sleeping cat Clifford's tail as he meows loudly in pain until getting knocked out by Starla as she threw a burst of sleeping powder on his face and the housecat instantly fell asleep. Giving Starla a thankful look, the duo then continued sneaking out of the house as they made their way downstairs and walked over to the front door as Lincoln opened it, and he and Starla stepped outside as they ran over to the car and got inside.
"Huh, that was easier than expected." Starla commented idly while sitting on top of the car seat that Lincoln was sitting on as she lowered the light of her aura.
"What do you mean by that?" Lincoln asked with a raised eyebrow as Starla shrugged.
"Well, no offense, Lincoln, but something unprecedented always shows up to mess with your plans." Starla stated matter-of-factly as Lincoln rolled her eyes at what she said and scoffed.
"Oh, please, when did that ever happened?" Lincoln asked as Starla give him a flat look but didn't say anything as the buck-toothed boy pulls out his walkie-talkie and begins talking with Clyde. "Come in, Nose Bleeder. This is Road Tripper."
"Sorry, Road Tripper. I have to keep the line clear for my friend Lincoln."
"This is Lincoln, Clyde."
"Oh...hi, Lincoln!" Clyde greeted cheerfully as Lincoln rolled his eyes goodnaturedly while Starla chuckled.
"Awww, that boy is too precious for this world...well, maybe not to precious with his creepy crush on Lori, but I digress." Starla says with a shrug as Lincoln shushes her to be quiet and not alert Clyde of her presence.
"Operation: Sweet Spot is a success! I've secured the seat!" Lincoln stated with a victorious smirk as he and Starla shared a fist bump.
"Great job...so, who did you get to sit next to you?"
"Who did I get to sit next to me? Well..." Lincoln says before trailing off as he realized the small flaw in his plan.
"Told you something unpredescent will show up to ruin your plan." Starla says with a smug look before her eyes widened in surprise as Lincoln began throwing a temper tantrum while screaming very vulgar curses as Starla blinked and slowly smirked approvingly as she chuckled. "Ha, ha, ha, Angry Lincoln is Cool Lincoln." Starla says as Lincoln turned to give the former powerful Fairy an apologetic look after calming down.
"I'm sorry that you had to see that, Starla. It's just that having the wrong sister next to me could totally wreck the Sweet Spot."
"Make sense, so which Loud Sister do you not want to sit next to you for your Family Trip?" Starla asked curiously while leaning against the top of the car seat in a more comfortable position as Lincoln begins to think.
"Hmmmm, well, it definitely can't be Luan since she will just hit me with a pillow constantly while yelling 'Airbag deployed!'. Lola is also a no-go since she will just try to give me a manicure or do my makeup the whole time. And it definitely can't be Lynn, or else she will force me to play Auto Attack the whole road trip."
"Auto Attack? What's that?"
"It's a game where Lynn punches me every time she sees a car, and if I try to punch back, I will lose the game."
"Classic Lynn." Starla says while rolling her eyes with an annoyed look on her face as Lincoln nodded before an idea popped into his head as he gasped excitedly.
"I got it! Leni! Whenever she's not driving, Leni usually readers her fashion magazines in the back and the motion of the car always puts her in a daze, and she'll leave me alone!"
"Hey, that's a good idea, Lincoln! Let's go!" Starla says while flying over to hide inside of Lincoln's dark gray sweater as the white-haired boy quickly got out of the car and made his way back to his house as he walked upstairs and approached Lori and Leni's Room as Lincoln walked inside.
"Psst, Leni." Lincoln says while walking over to Leni's side of the room as he tried to wake up his sister, who seems to be having a nightmare as the blonde-haired teenage girl tossed back and forth in her sleep.
"Oh, scrunchies! Oh, leg warmers!" Leni screamed fearfully as she thrashed around in her bed.
"Leni! Leni! LENI!" Lincoln whispered-screamed while shaking Leni awake as she blinked at him tiredly and in shock. "Oh, good. You're awake. Listen. Will you sit next to me in the car tomorrow?" Lincoln pleaded as Leni yawned but nodded.
"Sure. I mean, it's the least you could do. You did just save me from a bad fashion nightmare." Leni says while going back to sleep as Starla popped her out of Lincoln's sweater, and the duo grinned victoriously as they shared a fist bump. "SOCKS WITH SANDALS!" Leni screamed in her sleep with a terrified expression on her face as Starla shivered in disgust.
"Oof, been there, girl. Leni must be having a pretty bad fashion nightmare. Socks with sandals? Yuck!" Starla says while sticking out her tongue in distaste as Lincoln shushes her and pulls her down into his sweater as the duo made their way back down to sneak into Vanzilla again, and Lincoln pulled out his walkie-talkie to talk with Clyde as Starla flew out of Lincoln's sweater and rested upon his shoulder.
"Road Tripper to Nose Bleeder."
"Sorry, Road Tripper. I have to keep this line-"
"It's Lincoln! Operation: Seat Next To The Sweet Spot is a success!"
"Excellent...so, who's sitting behind you?"
"...FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCCKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK!" Lincoln screamed into the heavens as a wincing Starla covered her sensitive ears and flew off his shoulder as Lincoln tossed his walkie-talkie away and slumps against his seat as he sighs dejectedly. "Ah, so many ways to ruin the Sweet Spot! How did I not think of any of this?!"
"Calm down, Lincoln, even the greatest planners make mistake every once in a while, but in those moments, instead of freaking out, they improvise, so which Loud Sister can sit behind you?" Starla asked while flying over to pat Lincoln on the head reassuringly as he sighs heavily but calmed down as he sits up from his seat and placed his hand on his chin as the buck-toothed boy hummed thoughtfully.
"Hmmmm, who can I have behind me? Well, definitely not Lana since she will torture me the whole car ride with her stupid peashooter and most certainly not Lori since she spends the whole ride texting with Bobby, which means she gets carsick and barfs...usually on me instead of barfing on the floor or out of the window..." Lincoln stated with a very dry, irritated glare on his face as Starla blinked at this slowly in disbelief.
"Lincoln? Care to remind me to one day have Kira and I fetch a nearby bear from the woods and have it puke on Lori while she's sleeping?"
"Thanks, I will." Lincoln says while giving Starla a thankful look before an idea popped into his head as he beamed excitedly. "Wait, I got it! Lisa! True, she won't shut up about all the dangers of car travel, but the beauty of the Sweet Spot is that it has one working window, and the wind of the road will drown her out!" Lincoln says as Starla smiles and nods as they ran out of the house and quickly made their way up to Lisa and Lilly's room as Lincoln and Starla started negotiating with the half-awake child genius.
"...So, you'll sit behind me tomorrow?"
"Sure. It's safer there anyway in case the engine comes loose and flies into the car, crushing everyone up front." Lisa stated bluntly.
"That window better work." Lincoln grumbled to Starla with an annoyed frown as the Fairy nodded in agreement.
"By the way, why is Starla in our house instead of sleeping with Kira?" Lisa asked curiously.
"Oh, Kira snoring pretty loudly tonight, so I decided to bail and sleep with Lincoln." Starla lied smoothly with a shrug as Lisa nodded, following that logic as she then went back to sleep, and the duo quickly made their way out of the room as they closed the door behind them.
"Nice, lie." Lincoln complimented as Starla nodded with a grin. "Anyway, let's go back to the van and-,"
"Wait, Lincoln, for just in case, I think it will be a better idea for us to go back to your room and make sure that the seating system isn't messed up and your able to have a peaceful car ride on the Sweet Spot the whole trip." Starla suggested.
"Oh, hey, that's a good idea. Let's do that." Lincoln says as Starla nodded and the duo walked over to Lincoln's Room as the Loud Boy pulls up his mattress to reveal the above view of the van as the white-haired boy and the Butterfly Superhero began setting up the proper sitting arrangements, but then they were interrupted by Lisa abruptly walking into the room.
"Hey, guys?"
"What Sweet Spot?! I mean, hey!" A panicking Lincoln screamed before calming down as he and Starla quickly hides the chart as they turned over to smile at Lisa nervously.
"I have one addendum to our legally binding verbal agreement. I'll sit behind you only if Luna's not next to me. Her singing gives me an extreme case of tinnitus." Lisa says with a glare while crossing her arms as she's a little miffed on hearing her older sister rock out to some music and screaming like a banshee right into her freaking ear.
"No problem. I think I can move some things around to accommodate you."
"Yeah, so just go back to your sleep. We will take care of everything." Starla says reassuringly as Lisa nodded and leaves the room as, after making sure that she was gone, the duo pulls up the chart again as Lincoln and Starla looked it over briefly and turned to nod at each other in fierce determination as a small montage occurred, and we see Lincoln and Starla making many seating negotiations with all of the Loud Sisters, sans Lilly and Lucy since one of them is a baby and the other doesn't want to ride on Vanzilla due to being able to fly on her own, as after nearly two hours of perfect planning, our faithful heroes were able to finish with the Vanzilla's Seating Arrangement.
"...and Leni goes here, and we're done!" Lincoln exclaimed happily while hiding away his Vanzilla's Seating Arrangement Chart as he and a grinning Starla shared a high five.
"Sweet Spot, here we come!" Starla says, getting invested now in getting that Sweet Spot as she and Lincoln then went back down to sit on the Sweet Spot on Vanzilla with Starla once again riding on Lincoln's shoulder as the white-haired boy pulled out his walkie-talkie to talk with Clyde again.
"Road Tripper to Nose Bleeder. Operation: Fill All The Sweets Around The Sweet Spot is complete."
"That's awesome...but what about the-," Clyde asked curiously before getting cut off by a very irritated Starla as she raised her hand and began blasting the walkie-talkie to smithereens with a couple of well-shot magical white blasts as Lincoln's shattered walkie-talkie fell down onto the floor with smoke coming off it as huffing Starla turned to the buck-toothed boy.
"Sorry about your walkie-talkie, Lincoln, but I do NOT want to go back to your house and spend the next two hours planning our your Family's Seating Arrangaments." Starla says as Lincoln waves off her concerns.
"Eh, it's okay, Starla. Nose Bleeder was compromising the missions with his questions anyway." Lincoln says before yawning as he rubbed his eyes. "Welp, now that Operation: Fill All The Sweets Around The Sweet Spot is complete, I'm going to get some shuteye."
"Alright, that's cool. I'm planning on going back home, anyway. See you another time, Lincoln." Starla says as Lincoln nodded and fluffs up his travel bag as he uses it as a pillow to sleep on, and Starla was about to fly up through the roof of Vanzilla to go back home, but then both of them flinched as someone begins banging at the window, waking Lincoln up as Starla froze and immediately flew down to hide under the car seat as Lincoln sat up from the Sweet Spot and saw all of his Loud Sisters, minus Lily and Lucy, standing behind the window, looking pretty miffed as the white-haired boy smiled at them nervously.
"Hey, girls. What's up?" Lincoln asked while rolling down the window as his sisters glared at him.
"What are you up to, Lincoln?" An annoyed Lola asked as Lincoln gave her and the rest of his sisters a feign, innocent look.
"Me? I'm not up to anything. Just, you know, catching some Z's in the car like guys do."
"Hmmm, nice try, Lincoln, but we know that you're up to something since your wearing your sneaking clothes, and we had also found...this!" A livid Lori exclaimed with her and Leni and Luna pulled out Lincoln's mattress and slapped it against the window, showing Lincoln his seating chart as it was clearly obvious that they have all found out about his operation.
"You went into my room!?" An infuriated Lincoln asked before blinking slowly as he stared at his sisters in bewilderment. "Wait a minute, did you girls seriously not only pull out my mattress from my room but brought it down here so that you girls can tell me that you have figured out my plan? Wasn't it easier to just take a picture of my seating arrangement chart and show it to me?"
"...In hindsight, that sounded like a much better idea. I wish that we would've thought of that before we lug down that heavy ass mattress downstairs." A wincing Luna says as she and the rest of her sisters mumbled in agreement before composing themselves as they turned to glare at their younger/older brother.
"But that besides the point! What's the Sweet Spot?! And why are you in it!?" Lana interrogated as Lincoln sweated nervously and laughed awkwardly as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Oh, it's, uh...it's the worst seat in the whole car! I put myself in it so none of you would have to suffer."
"Then why is it called the 'Sweet Spot'?" Luan asked with crossed arms and an unbelieving raised eyebrow.
"...Because I'm being a sweet brother for taking one for the team?" Lincoln said lamely as everyone gave him half-lid eyes for his poor excuse, and even Starla facepalmed from her hiding spot.
"According to my calculations, the Sweet Spot is actually the best seat in the car for various reasons including air circulation, proximity to parental units, and the lack of chewable adhesive on the cushion." Lisa says while doing some quick calculations on the trunk door as an outraged Lincoln stared down at her in pure disbelief.
"Oh, come on! It took me eight months to figure that out!" Lincoln exclaimed while facepalming in frustration as his sisters glare angrily at him.
"Shocker." Lisa says while rolling her eyes as Lincoln glared down at her in irritation.
"Well, if that's the best seat, then I should get it. I'm the oldest." Lori says matter-of-factly as the rest of the sisters, however, mumbled their disagreements.
"No way, brah! You'd just barf all over it, Princess of Puke! I should have it!"
"Beauty before age!" Lola shouted with a smug, arrogant smirk on her face.
"Yeah! So I should get it!" Lana retorted as her twin sister narrowed her eyes at her while Starla laughed amusedly at the small burn.
"That seat belongs to me, dudes!" Luna screamed.
"No! I want it!" Leni yelled with a rather uncharacteristic angry look on her face while flipping off her rockstar younger sister as Leni was most likely still miffed and irritated due to her nightmares.
"Hey, hey, you can yell all you want, but I'm already in the seat, and possession is nine-tenths of the law," Lincoln says with a grin as all of his sisters slowly turned to glare at him harshly.
"You're gonna possess a bruise in a minute!" Lynn says threateningly while lifting her fist as Lincoln sweated nervously.
"Uh oh."
"Get him!" Lana shouted as a panicking Lincoln ducked down and rolls up the window as he locks the door before they can attack him.
"Whew, that was close," Lincoln whispers to Starla, who nodded as the Loud Sisters yelled at him angrily, and the duo shared a triumph laugh as they did a fist bump, but much to their shock, a peeved Luan opens the door on the other side of the van. "Dang it. I forgot about the broken lock." Lincoln laments with a flat look on his face as he briefly pushed Starla further under the seat to hide from his sister's view just as Luan pounces and tackles Lincoln onto the van floor as he tries to get out, but she pulls him back as Luna tackles him as well, followed by everyone else joining in as they all start fighting over the Sweet Spot.
"JesusChrist! Are the Loud Sisters seriously ganging up on their brother over a fucking car seat?! Those girls are fucking animals!" A pissed-off, shocked Starla exclaimed while looking on for Lincoln worriedly as he and his sisters were fighting so roughly and loudly that it woke up everyone in the neighborhood due to their commotion, including the Loud Parents as an enraged Rita poked her head out of the front living room with a livid expression on her face.
"THAT IS ENOUGH!" Rita screamed, causing the Loud Siblings to stop fighting as they looked over at their mother worriedly. "Everyone, BACK to their rooms this minute! I don't want to see ANYONE in that car until 7:00 AM!" Rita ordered before pulling her back inside of the house as she slams the window shut, and the girls started exiting Vanzilla as a bruised, panting Lincoln stayed behind a bit to recover from the girl's thrashing.
"Good luck getting the Sweet Spot now." Lori says to Lincoln with a smug smirk with her and the rest of the girls laughing at him mockingly as they head towards their house, leaving behind a fuming Lincoln as he growls at the situation in anger and punches the car...only to wince in pain from it as he covers his mouth to silence himself.
"Lincoln, calm down before you continue hurting yourself!" A concerned Starla exclaims while flying out of her hiding spot to land on Lincoln's outstretched bruised hand as Starla placed her own hands against his and begins healing the boy's injuries with her magic.
"Ugh, I know, I know, it's just that I'm so angry! I worked really hard to get this seat, and now my sisters are going to ruin it! I can't lose this seat! What do I do?!" Lincoln asked panickedly/nervously as, after finishing healing her friend's injuries, a thoughtful Starla stood upon his hand and placed a thoughtful hand on her chin as she hummed before an idea popped into her head as the blonde-haired Fairy grins mischievously and looks up at Lincoln.
"Whitetop, I got it. Here's the plan." Starla says while flying to whisper into Lincoln's ear as he nodded along to what she's saying and smirked slyly as he chuckled approvingly of her plan.
Fast forwarding in time, we cue to morning time as we see the Loud Sisters glaring at each other through their bedroom doors with tensed looks on their faces as none of them was willing to lose the Sweet Spot, especially to Lincoln as they noticed that their brother hasn't come out of his room yet, but was sure that he was still sleeping inside of it as they hear him snoring soundly in his sleep. Raising an eyebrow at this suspiciously, the Loud Sisters then shrugged as they figured that he probably accidentally fell asleep and were all too eager to steal his precious Sweet Spot as, the minute it reached 7:00 AM, all of the girls let out fierce battle cries and raced out of their rooms as they made their way downstairs while shoving, punching, kicking, walking over each other roughly the whole way as the Loud Sisters appeared outside and begin fighting each other for the rights of the Sweet Spot like brutish savages, waking up the neighbors again as a grinning Lola sneaks past her siblings and made her way over to the van as she opened the door...and gasped in shock as she spotted a smirking Kira sitting on the Sweet Spot with a relaxed demeanor.
"Hello, girls, good morning. How was your sleep last night? Because, quite frankly, all of you look really terrible right now." Kira says with a mocking tone while waving at the shocked Loud Sisters cheekily as they stopped fighting to turn to her in disbelief/confusion.
"Kira? What are you doing here?" Lola asked with a surprised raised eyebrow as Kira leans back against the Sweet Spot with a smug smirk on her face.
"Oh, well, you see, Lincoln called me a couple of hours ago and told me all about the Sweet Spot situation, so since I'm such a good friend of him, I decided to stakeout the Sweet Spot for him."
"That...cheater! He called for backup! Grrr, we should've thought of that!" A pissed-off Lori says as everyone else mumbled in agreement.
"He, he, yeah, sorry girls, but the Sweet Spot belongs to Lincoln. I mean, he was the one who came up with a plan to have it, so it's only fair that he rides it." Kira says with her arms crossed as the Loud Sisters slowly turned to glare at her.
"Oh, it's not over yet, Kira. Don't think that we won't force you out of that seat, so why don't you step out of the van or else things will get ugly." Lynn says with a scowl while cracking her knuckles as an unfazed Kira continued smirking and shook her head.
"Yeah, I don't think that you should all lay your hands on me."
"Why?" Luan asked with a glare as Kira merely pointed ahead, and the Loud Sisters turned their heads and froze in their tracks as they saw the Loud Parents walking out of the house with a grinning Lincoln following after them while wearing his normal clothes.
"Hey, girls, you ready to go on our Road Trip?"
"And, hopefully, we won't have any trouble today, right?" Rita asked the girls with a sharp glare as they flinched nervously and smiled at their mother anxiously as they nodded and stepped away from the van.
"Yes, of course, Mom. No problem at all." Lori says with a small awkward laugh as Rita narrowed her eyes at her daughter and nodded in satisfaction.
"Well, good. Now everyone, get in your seats. We should be leaving in a few minutes." Rita ordered as the Loud Sisters nodded while making their way into Vanzilla as each sister glared at Kira, except for Lilly and Lucy as the little baby was resting in Rita's arms while the Goth Girl had flown ahead of her family during the night to fly easier to their assigned destination than in the daylight.
"Oh, hey, Kira, what are you doing here? Didn't Lincoln told you that we're taking a Road Trip today?" Lynn Sr. asked curiously as Kira nodded while jumping out of her seat as an eager Lincoln walked over to sit on the Sweet Spot and made sure to give his sisters a triumphant, smug grin as they all glared at him furiously.
"Yeah, he did. I just came over to wish him goodbye." Kira said with a sweet, innocent smile on her face as she placed her hands behind her back.
"Awww, that's so sweet, Kira, and don't worry, you will be able to see him tomorrow." Rita says while walking over to bend down and kissed her future daughter-in-law on the forehead as she and her husband then made their way over to sit on the Driver/Passenger Seat of Vanzilla.
"He, he, he, noted. Bye, Lincoln." Kira says as the cheerful little girl waved at Lincoln, who waved back at her as he closed the door and the Loud Family then drove off to begin with their Family Road Trip as, after making sure that they were gone, a smirking Starla flew out of Kira's jacket while wearing her normal clothes.
"Victory Pose." Kira and Starla whispered while sharing a fist bump as the girls laughed.
"Ah, I love foiling the Loud Sisters plans against Lincoln. It never gets old. Thanks for the help, Kira." Starla says in appreciation as Kira nodded with a little smile on her face.
"Your welcome, Starla. Besides, you know that I'm always wiling to help out Lincoln."
"Yeah, I'm sure you do~," Starla says teasingly while giving Kira a knowing look as the magical girl blushes lightly and looks away shyly, but then both girls flinched as a loud beeping rang out.
"What os that?!" A surprised Kira asked with her and Starla rummaging around their clothes as the girls pulled out their Hero Alliance ID Cards, which were flashing brightly as they beeped loudly.
"Emergency! Emergency! All Hero Alliance Active and Reserve Members report to the Hero Alliance Headquarters at once!" The Hero Alliance ID Card says as Kira and Starla shared a serious look.
"Oh, no, it looks like the Hero Alliance is in trouble."
"Yeah, so let's go out and help them." Starla says with a cocky smirk as Kira slowly smirked back and nodded as the girls then looks down at their H.A. ID Cards and pressed a button on them as they activated the teleporting function on their cards and were swiftly teleported out of sight as, luckily, no one was able to see that due to it being too early in the morning.
And done! I hope you guys enjoyed the chapter, and I can't wait to write the next one.
Anyway, as always, I will catch you all later.
