Chapter 4 – Meeting with Shinkengers
Welcome back. How's it going? If you remember well, Lincoln Loud is having a heart attack. So let's continue and see how is he. And don't forget to review and follow it.

Back to the Netherworld
Every time when Gedoushuu's attack is happening, Shitari uses his bamboo stick to check Sanzu River's level. But today there was a little water jump in the River.
"Oh, how interesting" he said.
"What is it, Shitari?" Doukoku asked him.
"Well, Doukoku-sama, I was checking water level of Sanzu River and I noticed a little water jump. It seems like a very big negative emotion at Tejinajutsu's technique, like a breakdown".
"Ha-ha. I thought this clown will be good for nothing, but it looks like he proved it wrong. Fine. Let him and Akumaro do whatever they up to now. If they could make more of this breakdowns, the human world will be flooded in no time".
"Right, Doukoku-sama" Shitari said and went back to his book.
Just then, on the rocky land of the Netherworld, several Nanashi began to come out and make their way to the human world.
Back to the human world
Lincoln Loud is still sitting on the bench looking at the ground very depressed. How can't he? He just wanted to travel with his family on a summer vacation and have fun. But now his sisters are kidnapped by monsters and he doesn't know what to do. Then he started to talk with a reader still looking at the ground. "Hi. It's your friend Lincoln Loud. You probably wonder 'Lincoln, why are you so sad?'. How can I not be sad? My sisters are captured by some monsters. I couldn't save them. I don't know where this monsters came from. I don't know what to tell to mom and dad. I can't believe I'm saying this, but this time the 'Man with the Plan' doesn't have a plan". He then sighed and finished. "I just don't know what to do".
Suddenly, he heard screaming, but because of his sadness, he didn't look up to see what's going on. The reason of screaming was because people were running away from an army of hundreds of Nanashi. When they saw a kid sitting on a bench, they wanted to attack him. But suddenly, five tiny robo-animals, looking like red lion, blue dragon, pink turtle, green bear, yellow monkey, came out of nowhere and stopped them on their tracks. These tiny robots are Origamis: Shishi, Ryuu, Kame, Kuma, Saru. They are Shinkenger's partners. And if they are here, that means only one thing.
"That's enough, Gedoushuu" cried red samurai arriving with others.
Samurai Sentai Shinkenger arrived to the scene. Each one of the suits was quite similar but different by respective color. They had a shirt with a black line in a style of kendogi with having a Shinkenger symbol on left side of the chest, white big gloves with a black line on top, black pants (with Pink and Yellow having a skirt of respective color), boots of respective color with a black line on top, golden belt with a round buckle. Shinken Gold's suit was similar to others but gold, with golden gloves, black parts being blue, Shinkenger symbol and belt with buckle being silver and having blue sleeves with silver lines on top of them connected together through back in form of endless symbol. Each one had helmets of respective color with black visors in form of their specific elemental Mojikara (kanji): Shinken Red – '火' (fire), Shinken Blue – '水' (water), Shinken Pink – '天' (heaven), Shinken Green – '木' (wood), Shinken Yellow – '土' (earth), Shinken Gold – '光' (light).
The core members of Shinkenger had a sidearm called Shinkenmaru. It's a weapon that looks like a katana with a silver blade, black handle with golden bottom. In between blade and handle there's a glass figure, that when a Secret Disk spins, shows a picture of a disk. Near to it there's a golden joint that allows a Shinkenmaru to be attached to belt. Shinken Gold's personal weapon is Sakanamaru. It's a weapon in a form of tantō shaped like a big blue fish. When the "fish's head" is pulled out, it reveals to be a handle with a silver blade.
"That's a lot of Nanashi" Shinken Pink observed.
"I wonder what attracted them, My Lord?" Shinken Blue asked Shinken Red.
"It doesn't matter now. Let's go" Shinken Red ordered pulling out his Shinkenmaru.
"Right!" others cried taking out their weapons and charging to attack.
While they were fighting, Shinken Yellow noticed a boy sitting on a bench during the fight. "Hey, kid! Run away from here! It's dangerous here!" she cried. But as she turned around to fight another Nanashi and turned back, she saw that the boy was still sitting on the bench. "Hey! Do you hear me?!"
She was distracted at the boy that she didn't noticed a Nanashi charging at her. Luckily, Shinken Green was able to protect her. "Stay focused, Kotoha" he lightly scolded.
"Sorry, Chiaki" she apologized and kept fighting.
Seeing that there are many Nanashi, Shinken Red opened his buckle and pulled out a red Secret Disk with images of lion dashing through flames, it's called Shishi Disk. He inserted it in his Shinkenmaru and spun it, making the sword charged by flaming energy. "Shinkenmaru! Kaen no Mai (Dance of Flames)!" he cried and performed a horizontal slash of flames taking out some of Nanashi.
Shinken Blue spun his Ryuu Disk – a blue Secret Disk with images of dragon floating around an ocean making his sword charged by water energy. "Shinkenmaru! Suiryuu no Mai (Dance of Water Curtain)!" he yelled and performed vertical up slash of water wave at some of Nanashi.
Shinken Pink spun her Kame Disk – a pink Secret Disk with images of turtle descending from sky making her sword charged by pink wind energy. "Shinkenmaru! Tenkuu no Mai (Dance of Sky)!" she yelled and performed vertical up slash of wind typhoon knocking out some of Nanashi.
Shinken Green spun his Kuma Disk – a green Secret Disk with images of bear running around a forest making his sword charged by leaf energy. "Shinkenmaru! Kogarashi no Mai (Dance of Leaves)!" he yelled and performed a clash of slashes making his wood kanji taking out some of Nanashi.
Shinken Yellow spun her Saru Disk – a yellow Secret Disk with images of monkey jumping through mountains making her sword charged by yellow dust energy. "Shinkenmaru! Tsuchikemuri no Mai (Dance of Dust Clouds)!" she yelled and performed vertical down slash of dust clouds at some of Nanashi.
Shinken Gold took out his Sakanamaru and began performing Iai – a technique of quickly drawing out a sword and making swift slashes. He ran at light speed and slashed Nanashi all around.
When there were few Nanashi left, Kotoha looked around and saw the boy still sitting on the bench. 'What is the meaning of this? The boy was sitting there the whole time?' she thought to herself.
"Let's finish this!" Shinken Red declared and core members spun their disks once again and slashed together. "Shinkenmaru! Go-Jyuu no Taichi (Quintuple Slash)!" and the combo slash destroyed the rest of Nanashi.
"That's the last of them" Shinken Gold exclaimed as Shinkengers detransformed back to their civilian form.
"Man, I don't remember the last time there were lots of Nanashi" Chiaki said putting his hands behind his head.
"Still. What made them appear in that amount?" Ryuunosuke wondered but then Kotoha interrupted.
"Um, guys. We have another problem here".
"What do you mean, Kotoha" Mako asked her.
"Look there" she pointed at the boy, who was still sitting on the bench.
"Hey, it's Lincoln. The kid I met in the park" Chiaki noticed looking at him.
"He's been sitting there the whole fight. I've been crying him to run away but he didn't listen to me".
"Really?" Genta asked her and she nodded.
"I worry about him. You guys go back without me. I need to check him".
"I'm coming with you. I already met him and he can talk to me" Chiaki said.
"Okay" Takeru said and he, Ryuunosuke, Mako and Genta went back to Shiba house while Chiaki and Kotoha went to talk to Lincoln.
Once they came closer to him, Chiaki kneeled down and put his hand on Lincoln's shoulder. "Hey, Lincoln. Nice to see you again".
After that, Lincoln raised his head and said. "Hi, Chiaki". Then he turned his head to a girl in yellow.
"Hello. My name is Kotoha. I'm Chiaki's friend" she introduced herself.
"Hi" he said.
"Are you okay?" Chiaki asked him.
"Mmm…" Lincoln hesitated at answering and lowered his head again. "Not really".
"Do you wanna talk about it?" Chiaki asked him again as he sat on the bench to the right of Lincoln while Kotoha sat to the left of him.
"I'm just depressed about this park situation" Lincoln began to explain.
"Are you sad that the park wasn't real?" Kotoha asked him and he shook his head.
"No. I'm upset about who those monsters kidnapped" he corrected.
"You mean that group of girls? Are they special for you?" Chiaki asked.
"Yes they are. They are my sisters".
At hearing that, they were both quite shocked, eyes widen, Chiaki's jaw even dropped.
"HUH?!" Chiaki replied in shock.
"Are they your sisters?" Kotoha asked him.
"Yeah" Lincoln answered and showed them his family photo.
"You have ten sisters? That's crazy!" Chiaki said looking at the photo.
"It's true. But I won't trade it for the world" he said with a little smile.
"Such a happy family" Kotoha said looking at the photo as well.
"Yes it is" Lincoln said. But then, his smile faded and tears began to rolling out on his cheeks. "I suggested them to come here on a summer vacation. We were supposed to have some fun. But now, my sisters are captured. I-I tried my best to save them, but they got away. I-I-I don't know… what to do. I feel myself so… so…"
Suddenly, he was cut off when he felt being wrapped by arms. He turned his head and saw Kotoha hugging to comfort him.
"It's okay. It's gonna be okay. I know how you feel" Kotoha said having little tears of her own.
"You… you do?" Lincoln asked her and she nodded.
"I also have an older sister. She was always there for me to help. Now I'm doing the same for you".
"I promise to you, Lincoln. We will help you bring your sisters back" Chiaki said ruffling his white hair.
"Really? You two will do that for me?" Lincoln asked with a little hope.
"Yeah. We know how to deal with those monsters. And not just two of us. Our friends will help you too. Let's go to Shiba house".
"Are you sure about this, Chiaki?" Kotoha asked him.
"Yes. He needs help and we made a promise. Let's go, Lincoln" he said and they got up from the bench and made their way to Shiba house. On their way, Kotoha took out her Shodophone and called. "Mako-chan…"
Meanwhile in Shiba house
During the time when Chiaki and Kotoha were talking to Lincoln, rest of Shinkengers arrived at Shiba house. Hikoma asked them about their trip to amusement park, and they told him that the park was Gedoushuu's trap. He was also surprised at why their Sukima Sensor didn't ring over Gedoushuu's arriving. Just then, Mako's Shodophone ringed and she picked it up opened it.
"It's Kotoha" she surprised and started to talk. "Hello… What?" she frowned a little at what Kotoha told her but at the end she became soften "Got it".
"What did she say?" Ryuunosuke asked her.
"She said she and Chiaki are going back and the kid is coming here with them".
"What kid?" Hikoma asked.
"During our walk in the park, Chiaki bumped into a boy named Lincoln, who came here on a summer vacation with his family" Genta explained.
"Why are they bringing him here?" Takeru asked Mako.
"She said that he will tell us himself" she answered.
At evening, Chiaki, Kotoha and Lincoln came into Shiba house. To say that Lincoln was surprised seeing a traditional Japanese house in understatement. And following the traditions, he took off his shoes. Once he went inside, he was amazed by the interior of the house and especially by the armor that he wanted to touch it but he was yelled at from behind.
"DON'T TOUCH IT" Hikoma yelled making Lincoln turned to him and bow.
"Forgive me for that. I didn't know" he apologized to the old man.
"You are forgiven" Hikoma said softly.
After that, he looked around and noticed others inside. But what caught his attention is a young man in red sitting higher than everyone.
"Eh, why are you sitting like you are a king?" Lincoln asked him tilting his head.
"You fool! How dare you to talk to our Lord like that?!" a man in blue yelled at him.
"Lord? Are you a real lord?" he asked pointing on Takeru. And once he nodded, Lincoln immediately fell on his knees and bowed. "Please forgive me for my rudeness. I had no idea. I thought that…"
"Whoa-whoa-whoa. Calm down, kid" a young woman in pink softly told him.
"Is he okay? Why is he like that?" a young man in gold asked Chiaki.
"I'm not sure" he replied not understanding Lincoln's sudden attitude changing.
"Tell us about yourself" Takeru told Lincoln.
"Okay" he said still sitting on his knees and cleared his throat. "My name is Lincoln Loud. I'm middle child of Loud Family from Royal Woods, Michigan".
"Do you have siblings in your family?" Mako asked him.
"Yeah. Five older sisters and five younger sisters".
At hearing that, everyone, except Chiaki and Kotoha, were quite shocked. Even Takeru was eyes widen.
"Huh? You have TEN sisters?!" Genta asked with shock.
"Ridiculous. No family has this amount of children" Ryuunosuke exclaimed.
"But it's true. Lincoln, show them the photo" Kotoha told them.
He nodded and took out his family photo to show the others. And so, he began telling them more about himself, his family, how he ended up in Tokyo and how his sisters were kidnapped.
"Man, that's messed up" Genta said getting a nudge from Chiaki.
"I'm still surprised about this family" Ryuunosuke said.
"But why would Gedoushuu kidnap your sisters?" Hikoma wondered.
"You know I have a little Deja vu about this" Mako said.
"Why so, Nee-san?" Chiaki asked her.
"Do you guys remember the incident of bride kidnapping?" she asked her team and core members and Hikoma already realized what is she talking about. But Genta was confused as much as Lincoln.
"What are you guys talking about?" Genta asked them.
"You weren't there when this happened, Genta" she said to him and began explaining. "You see, there was a time when Gedoushuu were kidnapping brides. We didn't know where they were taken so we…" but she was cut off by Lincoln.
"Wait, wait, wait. Can you explain to me what are you talking about? I already told you about myself. Now it's your turn".
They were surprised at his call but nodded in understanding.
"That's fair. Okay, I'll tell you" Hikoma said and began explaining pointing his hand at Takeru. "The man infront of you is XVIII's head of Shiba clan, Shiba Takeru. About 300 years ago, the head of Shiba clan led his retainers in fighting against Gedoushuu and…"
"Jii" Takeru interrupted him. "Too long".
"Sorry, My Lord" he apologized, lowered his head and stepped back.
"Let me tell you in simple way" Genta started to tell Lincoln. "We are Samurai Sentai Shinkenger".
"Shinkenger?" he asked tilting his head in confusion.
"Yep. A team of heroes fighting against Gedoushuu, those monsters that were in the park".
"Really?" Lincoln's eyes lit up for being a hero fan.
"Yeah. I'm Shinken Gold. Umemori Genta".
"The same in Red. Shiba Takeru".
"The same in Blue. Ikenami Ryuunosuke".
"The same in Pink. Shiraishi Mako".
"The same in Green. Tani Chiaki".
"The same in Yellow. Hanaori Kotoha".
"Okay. I understand now. You can continue, Mako".
"Thanks, Lincoln" she said to him and continued. "As I was saying, we didn't know where they were taken, so we pulled out a fake wedding with me being a bride to let myself be captured and we found out where they were taken".
"Do you think that his sisters were taken for the same reason?" Kotoha asked her.
"I doubt about that" Lincoln said getting their attention. "I maybe don't know about Gedoushuu, but I know about villains from comic books. If their plan has failed, they don't repeat their mistake".
"That's quite right" Ryuunosuke hummed putting his hand to chin and then asked Takeru. "What are we going to do, My Lord?"
"Me and Kotoha already promised him to bring his sisters back" Chiaki clarified to others.
Takeru thought for a while and said to Lincoln. "Very well. We will bring your sisters back".
"You promise?" he asked and Takeru nodded. Then he bowed once again. "Thank you so much, Lord Takeru. I appreciate it". Then he got up and proceeded to the exit. "Well, I need to go. It's getting dark and I promised mom and dad to return before sunset".
But before he was out of the house, four man in black with their faces covered in black cloth appeared in front of him. "Uh, guys?" he asked turning his head back to Shinkengers.
"Don't worry. These guys are Kurokos. They are responsible for cooking and cleaning in Shiba house" Ryuunosuke explained to him.
"So, this guys are your servants?" he asked trying to understand.
"Something like that" Takeru told him and addressed them. "Bring him to our spare room" and they nodded.
"What do you mean?" he asked again.
"My Lord decided that for your safety it will be better if you stay with us. Until your sisters will be saved" Hikoma told him.
"Okay. But can I call my parents to warn them about?"
"Sure, dude" Chiaki said and they watched Kurokos taking him away. Once he was out, they were thinking about everything they were told about. They still couldn't believe about this big family and they wouldn't help Lincoln bring his sisters back. But since Gedoushuu were involved in this, they have to help.
Back to Lincoln, he was in a small room with a bed in futon-style. He called his parents and they weren't happy that he and his sisters didn't come back, even telling him that they will be grounded for this. But he managed to calm them down and said that his sisters were kidnapped. They were shocked and wanted to call the police, but he told them that he found some help and promised them that he will returned ONLY with sisters. At first they weren't sure about it, but gave up and told him to be safe. Once they hung out, he took off his jeans and laid on the bed, looking at the celling and thinking. 'Girls. I hope you are ok, wherever you are', then he closed his eyes and fell asleep.
