James watched Kendall walked away. Feeling hurt by Kendall words. He saw Hawk.

"Hawk!" James yelled.

Hawk turned around and looked at James. "May I help you?"

"Why did you offer Kendall a record deal last year?"

"What are you talking about? I never offered anyone a record deal." Hawk said.

"Kendall said you offered him a record deal last year to him."

"Well, obviously he's lying. I haven't been here in six months."

"Why would he lie?" James said.

"Aren't you two best friends and in a band at Rocque Records?" Hawk said.

"The band broke up two years ago." James said.

"Really? I'm shocked. I been busy with my new home. I been getting ready to sell this place for a year in a half now." Hawk said. "If someone been in there, they been trespassing."

James couldn't understand why Kendall lie to him. They used to be best friends. But Kendall was different now. He decided to walk back to the Palmwoods when he spotted Kendall, flickering a lighter.

Kendall saw James and rolled his eyes.

"What do you want now?" He asked annoyed.

"Why did you lie about getting a record deal at Hawk Records?"

"Why do you care?"

"Because we used to be best friends."

"Well, we're not anymore." Kendall said.

"Can't you forgive me? Carlos and Logan forgave me, and they're not mad at me. They understood I needed a break." James said.

"You think I didn't understand that you needed a break? I understood. What I don't get is how you never messaged me or called me back, but you always had time to update Logan and Carlos. I felt like you were mad at me for some reason, and I couldn't understand why. Then they decided to quit the band without even discussing it with me. How I felt and what I wanted to do. You all left me behind. And you want me to forgive you? You see this lighter? I got it the day Logan and Carlos wanted to quit the band without even discussing to me about it. It was also the day that we learned you may never come back here. Our friendship went up in flames that day." Kendall said, opening then closing the lighter.

"I'm sorry you feel that way." James said.

"I have only one question for you."

"What's that?" James asked.

"Why didn't you messaged me or called me after I tried numerous times?" Kendall asked.

James looked at his phone and saw the message Kendall sent him. Instead of responding to him, he set his phone down. He really wasn't sure what to say. Sure, he kept Logn and Carlos updated but not Kendall. What could he say? After what happened before he left anyway. There was a part of him that wanted to message Kendall, and the other part wasn't sure if he could face the truth.

Hoped you liked it. Can Kendall forgive James? Will he? What are your guys thoughts about why James didn't kept Kendall updated.
