InuYasha lifted his hand one last time as the train left the station, taking with it an important part of his own heart; Kagome. He took a deep breath, in one go, then let it all out as a way to try and ease his already born yearning, despite the mere minutes that had passed since saying goodbye. To part with her was strangely painful to him, like being back in his teenager years but without that room for emotions to overpower him, and govern his actions. He was an adult now, and could not allow himself to be that vulnerable.
In fact, he would need to be at work in two hours.
He smiled to himself, before his own pathetic misery, and reflected on his own thoughts as he undid the steps he had taken by Kagome's side, leading him outside of the Nakano train station.
Why was he feeling like a wounded animal?
Why was the coming day making feel this greedy?
How as it possible that the last three days, full of joy, love and passion, were becoming a nightmare inside his head?
His smile remained there, ironical; there was a certain logic to his mood, for after the high that Kagome's presence meant to him, her absence was now bringing him down, hard.
He filled his lungs with the fresh and cold air outside the station, gazing up to a gray sky, an omen of his coming days; two weeks just as gray until he is able to go to Tokyo.
The constant of time felt like a kick in the balls, as he strode through the cold streets, bound to the house he shared with his mother. He had spent the last three nights at a rented apartment, since Kagome and he needed the intimacy… but that was something that needed solving, he told himself; to get a small apartment in that zone of Japan wasn't too big an expenditure.
Yet… there was still one small detail to sort out.
Would she come live with him?
The thought wandered around his mind, unfinished; he could certainly propose it, yet with what right, if he couldn't offer the same?
His collaboration with Jinenji was going great, their number of customers steadily growing, which was healthy to their business venture, to say the least. It just wasn't responsible to think about abandoning it.
He laughed at himself before that last idea. He had never been a man prone to adventure when it came to finances, not even back when his sexual life was an overwhelming chaos; however, that didn't deter him from feeling quite capable of buying a ticket for the first train to Tokyo, and to Kagome's side, at the Nakano station. He stopped in his tracks then, looked back, and tried to cool his head through sheer willpower. Two weeks, he thought, in two weeks he'd be able to be with her again.
He noted his phone vibrating in his jacket's pocket, and when he checked the message Kagome sent him, he found a picture of her collarbone, and of the hickey he himself had left her amidst their passion.
Two weeks, he repeated in his mind, crap.

A/N
Here I bring you another one of Kimi Ni. I love this sequel, and I love how light it feels to write, without some date to adhere to, and although I know some would wish I dedicated more time to it… the freedom these drabbles give me, as a creator, is a much needed breather.
Thank you for reading and leaving your comments, I read everything you write even if I haven't answered them yet.
Kisses!
