The Weasley's all sat around the table, staring at the ruined remains of the diadem and the locket.
"Such little things, to be anchors for the most bile person that ever lived." Fred said as Hermonie cleared the remains into her pocket dimension.
They were taking no chances that Voldermort would find out about the destruction quickly. She had even created another diadem and placed it in the room of requirement just in case.
"A pretty thing, that diadem." Molly lamented. "A shame what had to happen to it. Maybe it can be restored."
Bill shook his head as he looked up from a letter from Fleur. "I doubt it. Even if it were possible, the goblins would be horrified at what we did to it and refuse to repair it. Sorry, Mum."
She sighed, and her attention went to the letter in his hand. "How's Fleur doing?"
"She misses us all terribly, but she is enjoying spending time with her father."
Fleur and Gabrielle's father had passed away the summer that Gabi had come to stay with Fleur and Bill. Harry smiled, glad she was getting a second chance to be with her dad. He wondered if he and Sirius would have a similar connection when they reunited. As if reading his mind, Ginny elbowed him.
"I'm sure Sirius will be excited to see you, when he arrives at Grimwald Place."
Molly looked up from fussing over the twins and Angelina. "Surely, he would come here to stay. We can put him up in Charlie's room since he is still in Romania."
Bill shook his head. "George and Angelina need that room. Unless you plan to break up the other couples, it would not be fair to make them sleep separately. Though, I do already have the funds to acquire Shell Cottage. I could go ahead and buy that and move in there."
"A fine Idea, son.' Arthur arrived in the kitchen. "I'm off to work. It will be weird to be back in the Muggle Artifact department after my promotions. Percy, ready to go?"
Percy got up from his seat and joined him. "Yes. I am not looking forward to pretending Crouch is not under the Imperious Curse. It is going to be so hard."
"Sorry, Percy," Harry ran a hand through his hair. "We need to keep the dark forces as close to their plans as last time. Not give them a reason to go off script. Which means we play into their hand again like last time."
Percy sighed. "I know, still it irks me we cannot just stake out the Crouch residence and jump Tom and Peter and put them both in a magic blocking cell until it is time to destroy him."
Ron, the only one still earing, looked up from his bacon. "Wait, is that an option?"
Harry leaned back in his chair. "As an Auror, I can create those enchantments, yes. I can secure a room against any form of magic and make it impossible to escape by force. So, in the broadest sense, yes, we could possibly do that. But so much could go wrong in such an open attack. I would rather we set things up so he can be taken down while he is districted and thinking he has won. Besides, I would like to do some practice duels with Dumbledore first before we try to attack Riddle. Even in his reduced state, I cannot be sure of victory with both Wormtail and Nagini at his side."
"We need to try and make sure Barty survives at least." Hermoine stated, "It is the least we can do since we plan to let him suffer this fate."
Everyone agreed to that and started going about their day. Harry checked the calander. It was almost Ginny's birthday. He knew there would be no quidditch that year, but his star chaser wife would be sad if she had to go back to her old, barely functional broom. He waved Bill over to him.

The next week was nerve racking for the group. Dumbledore had set Fawkes to watching Tom Riddle and Wormtail so when they departed to deal with Crouch, they could move in and take out the ring. Harry was unsure how sneaky a phoenix could be but he trusted Dumbledore. Ginny, however, was still very cross with the man when he came daily to visit and pour over ideas.
"I'll be honest, Harry," Dumbledore said over dinner that night. "I have done some research and I do not see why the poison that coursed through you briefly in your second year should not have destroyed the bit of soul that's inside you. Even though you were cured by the Phoenix tears, you were infected for more than a few seconds. This tells me even though you were an accidently horcrux, maybe because you were an accident even, the fragment of soul is nestled in more deeply than any of the other objects could be. I see now why my future self set forth the plan he did."
Harry could feel Ginny simmer from where he sat. He coughed and quickly continued the conversation.
"It was a good plan. Though it requires him to rise to do it. I would rather not risk that if possible."
Dumbledore nodded. "I will continue looking into the possibilities. I wish we could afford to keep one of the others intact to experiment on, but that would be courting disaster, as it was. Honestly, I wonder if a potion would be capable of doing it. I wish your grandfather was still with us. He was an expert potion maker and was well known for inventing new potions to suit the situation. Have you been into the Potter Vault and not the Trust Vault?"
Harry nodded. "Well, in the future anyways. It was where I got my parents rings for myself and Ginny."
He wife sighed. "Really miss my ring. I can't afford to wear it right now, even if Harry could access it."
He got up and pulled her into a hug. "I'm sorry, Gin."
She snuggled into his arms. "It's fine. Are we going to pretend we aren't dating at school?"
This was a question he had not considered. He held her in his arms while he pondered this. "Honestly, the Death Eater needs me to say safe and happy for the year, to get me to the Graveyard. I don't think there will be any risk to you until terms end. When you will be helping with the attack on Voldemort anyways. So, we will need a story about how we got together."
Hermoine smiled. "I got it, tell them that after the Veela at the World Cup, Ginny got upset and ran off and you went to find her. You two ended up sheltering together from the Death Eaters and got to really talking. You realized that Ginny was much more desirable than some Veelas and asked to date her."
Molly walked by and patted Harry on the back. "Just try to remember not to act like the married couple you are. You didn't date anyone really for two more years, so you didn't get to experience an entire year at Hogwarts with a girlfriend. If you got a friend that is dating someone, you should make a show of asking them to give you some tips."
Ginny snorted. "I trained him myself but would be amusing to see what a teen could try and teach him."
Harry did not think his blush ended for the rest of the night.

Sirius arrived at Grimwald Place the next day. Kreacher had done his best to get the place livable but had cleared out as to not see the Black Heir. He helped Molly in the kitchen as they helped set up breakfast. Harry's pulse was racing at the idea of his godfather being back in Britian and his life. He spent much of that morning holding Ginny like the lifeline that she was. He was unsure how his fatherly figure would react to learning that this Harry had the mind and powers of an adult. He wasn't worried about Ginny though. Sirius had always liked Ginny and the first time around; he had been teasing Harry about the girl.
George came down with Angelina's hand in his, Fred at his side.
"So, how are we going to tell Padfoot that we all know he is innocent and not a mad serial killer?" George asked as they sat down.
"Well, we are going to go and tell Sirius about our mission and then reveal the truth to him. Hopefully he will feel safe coming here after we are done."
"Are you going to tell him about his death?" Fred asked. "I know how weird that can be."
"I feel like I should." Harry admitted as Ginny pulled him against her. Fred grimaced at the sight but looked away. George winked at him.
"Sorry, he'll get used to it like the rest of us eventually."
Ginny snorted. "Like I care if he doesn't. Harry is mine, whether any of the family likes it or not."
Harry kissed her cheek. "I love hearing that. It feels so good to be wanted."
His wife gave him a brilliant smile. "And don't you ever forget it."
They prepared themselves after Ron and Hermoine had eaten. They had decided only the trio would go for now along with Dumbledore. Ginny gave him a long kiss before letting him go. Harry was dazed as she let go of him and went to stand next to her brothers. He thought Fred was scowling but George was making pretend throw up noises, until his sister's foot found his shin. Harry grinned as he dropped the floo powder and traveled away.
Harry stepped out of the fire where Ron and Hermoine was waiting. He gulped air as he saw a very familiar mess of black hair shaking hands with Dumbledore. The man turned and for the first time since he was fifteen, Harry looked into the dark eyes of his Godfather.
"Hello, Harry. It's been a while."
He had no idea. Harry stepped forward and hugged him close.
