"You're evil Gramps!" Naruto emptied his stomach in a trash can and drank some water Makarov offered him. "My pranks aren't that bad."
"Not bad you say? You somehow dyed everyone's hair orange! The guild wanted your blood, you're lucky this is your punishment." Makarov then laughed. "Your motion sickness is punishment enough, but you being here is for your safety. Unless you want Erza to beat you to a pulp…..again?" Makarov shivered at mentioning Erza, making Naruto shiver too.
"N-No. I'm good!" Naruto was then given a pat on the head by the short old man.
"Good. I will be at the meeting, stay here and out of trouble!" Makarov went to the Guild Master's Hall, leaving Naruto alone.
'Gramps is no fun.' Naruto walked towards the forest and watched out for the lake. Naruto wasn't that good with directions, but he can sense water within a few miles thanks to being raised by a Water Dragon. After 10 minutes, he saw a light through the forest.
"Great Fireball!" Naruto heard a voice from the light and towards it. He saw a young boy with black hair and dark clothing unleash a human-sized fireball at the lake. The boy is a younger Sasuke Uchiha.
"C-Cool!" Naruto appeared beside Sasuke and made him jump until he tripped and fell into the lake.
"Gah! What's the big idea!?" Sasuke coughed out the water that went out into his mouth when he fell in the lake.
"My bad. But I saw you make that large fireball and I thought I'd say hi." Naruto sounded too energetic for the Sasuke.
'First that kid who eats metal and now this kid.' "Hn." Sasuke turned his head to the side and gave a simple response. He did not expect Naruto to hold out his hand to help him up.
"Don't be like that! My name is Naruto Uzumaki, nice to meet you." Naruto gave him a grin. Sasuke refused his hand got up himself, twisting his shirt and releasing his water from it.
"I am Sasuke. Sasuke Uchiha."
This was the first time Naruto met Sasuke and their rivalry would begin on this day.
(Present)
"Water Dragon's Deep Fist!" Naruto quickly tilted his body, avoiding Sasuke's lightning-covered blade and hit the left of Sasuke's body with his water-fist and sent the raven-haired youth was sent back. Sasuke pointed his sword upwards and released a bolt of lightning, Naruto was shot by it and was down to one knee. Sasuke landed on his other side and held his left side, hissing in pain.
"You know it will do you no good! Even if your friends beat the shades, there is still Jupiter Cannon waiting to finish off those pathetic fairies!" Sasuke laughed and this made Naruto angrier than before. 'That and that our numbers are superior to yours. There are battalions of Phantom Wizards, excluding the members you fought with earlier.'
"You just don't get it. Unlike you, I have faith in my friends. We might have retreated earlier, but that was because Gramps got hurt. When you push us to a corner, we'll fight until we can't anymore. No one in Fairy Tail will give up!" Naruto got back up, as did Sasuke and they clashed once more.

Fairy Tail continued to fight the Shades, not knowing that most of the wizards they fought before were still in Phantom's base. But they were still in the main hall, away from Natsu's location, which is why he did not find any in his way.
(Phantom Lord's Main Hall)
Phantom Lord's wizards stood in the main hall with a giant lacrima in front of them, with some members having their hands stretched out and standing next to it.
"I'm tired!" One of the closer ones complained.
"Idiot! Master ordered us to stay here. This is for Lord Sasuke!" A female member swooned when she mentioned Sasuke's name.
(With Natsu)
'This guy can control fire!' Natsu was facing off against Totomaru. He learned that Totomaru can control flames and can use different types of fire, each with a unique property. However, Natsu deceived him and spat at him, annoying Totomaru. Totomaru used a type of flame which smelled bad and for Natsu tasted bad. Natsu had to focus and destroy the lacrima if he wanted to save his guild.
(Back with Naruto and Sasuke)
'Dammit! I won't lose here!' Sasuke was panting heavily, and his attire was ripped and he had a few wounds, as did Naruto.
'I can't lose here!' Naruto was also breathing heavier than usual, but he got up and wiped the blood off his mouth. "Just stop it Sasuke. I know that you've gotten stronger, but so have I." Naruto was not being arrogant this time, he wanted to end this fight as soon as possible.
"You want to me to give up? No chance in hell!" Sasuke then smirked. "And why do you want to end this fight? Are you secretly scared of losing to me again?"
"No. if this was any other day, I'd like nothing more than beat you, but my friends need me. So, please, just give up." Naruto's words made Sasuke's eyes widen before they narrowed.
"You're annoying. Even when you're selfish, you always look out for those weaker than you! It sickens me! I could care less about that Heartfilia girl! I want you broken!" Sasuke yelled and had lightning channelled through his left hand and rushed at Naruto in much faster speed than the last time he used the spell. 'I'm much faster than before and this Chidori is much more powerful than the last one!'
As Sasuke reached Naruto, everything seemed to slow down for them. Sasuke went for the kill, only to have his wrist grabbed just before impact.
'No! Not again!' Sasuke remembered last time he used Chidori, it was against that snake demon and Naruto managed to catch him. But unlike before, Sasuke's focus was on Naruto and he was faster than before.
"I told you to stop it, Sasuke." Naruto channelled water into his left hand and hit Sasuke, making him skid on the ground, his Chidori dissipated. "The reason why you can't beat me right now is because I'm not fighting for myself this time. I told you that I'm fighting to protect all the people I care about."
"Shut up!" Sasuke's body glowed with magic, surprising Naruto.
(With Jose)
"I see. You had to resort to it after all." Jose had a crystal lacrima which glowed. Within the guild hall of Phantom Lord, the ones closest to the lacrima fell unconscious. The other members took their place instead of helping out the fallen ones.
(Back with Natsu)
'I've got control of my flames now!' Natsu engulfed his entire body with flames, heading towards Totomaru, who could not control the flames Natsu was emitting this time around. Totomaru jumped out of the way as Natsu destroyed the lacrima with his attack.
'He managed to gain control of his flames! This means I am at a disadvantage!' Totomaru knew that he could not win in a fair fight against Natsu now. However, Jose had anticipated this and activated the failsafe and Phantom Lords secret weapon. The room began to shift as the outside of Phantom's headquarters changed shape.
(Back with Naruto)
"How do you like this!? Organic Link Magic! My magic power has been restored!" Sasuke laughed and began to overpower Naruto. Whilst Naruto could still withstand the attacks, he had to conserve his own magic power and he had already withstood powerful spells from Sasuke earlier.

"Organic Link Magic? What the heck is that?" Naruto was confused but he could sense Sasuke's magic power rise.
"You really are an idiot. Organic Link Magic allows us to link ourselves with objects or other people. You can guess the rest because I'm in no mood to talk to you." Sasuke rushed towards Naruto, who began to go on the defensive.
"Wait? Does that mean you stole the power from your guild mates?" Naruto was answered by a lightning fist, sending him flying back and landed on his back. Naruto rolled to the side as Sasuke appeared above him to strike him down. Naruto channelled water through his feet and hit Sasuke dead on, sending him back. "Okay then. Seems like you got your second wind. Let's end it Sasuke! This time I'll tie the score!" Naruto then sped near Sasuke and used his water-enhanced feet to kick Sasuke upwards.
"Idiot! With my magic resotred, I can use stronger spells now!" Sasuke made another Chidori. 'Agh!' Sasuke hissed in pain as Naruto's last attack managed to hurt him badly. 'Taking their power doesn't heal me nor get rid of my fatigue. And the damage I took from earlier is still here. All I did was restore my magic.'
"Water Dragon's Tidal Kick!" Naruto's watery kick collided with Sasuke's Chidori. Naruto's attack managed to hold against Sasuke's at first, only for Naruto to be blasted back into the forest, hitting every tree in his path and having his face planted in the ground.
'He forced me to use Chidori. And one near full power too. I don't want to waste any more in case if I face Titania or any of those other fairies later on. Especially since I'm wasting time finishing off this loser.' Sasuke's power boost was only temporary, and he wanted to conserve strength to defeat Fairy Tail's other powerful members. Sasuke made his way towards Naruto, looking at Naruto just pull himself out of the ground.
"Heh. Come on Naruto. What happened to that bravado from earlier? You realise that you cannot beat me?" Sasuke was being arrogant.

"Says the guy who stole power from his own guild." Naruto was punched in the gut by Sasuke. Sasuke then grabbed Naruto's head and slammed it to the ground.
"Power is power. No matter how I gain it, I simply took it and made it my own." Sasuke dragged Naruto's face, shocking him with electricity as he harshly dragged him before tossing him further into the forest.
"And what about your guildmates? What if they get hurt?" Naruto barely dodged Sasuke's lightning-encased hand. Sasuke, followed up with a kick, but Naruto caught it, only to be shocked by lightning and blasted back by Sasuke.
"Who cares. They should be pleased that their magic was put to good use." Sasuke frowned internally. 'Naruto…..How are you still conscious? I will have to kill you at this rate.' Sasuke wanted Naruto to suffer and break, killing him would not satisfy him. 'I did not notice earlier, but he's moving his body and forced himself to head towards this direction despite being hit by my attacks.' Sasuke followed the path of destruction Naruto caused when being blasted away. Sasuke was surprised to hear a sound The sound of flowing water.
'This is….No!' Sasuke saw that Naruto was by a river stream and he looked mighty hungry or thirsty in Naruto's case. Naruto began to consume the water. Sasuke already ran towards him, his sword completely covered in lightning.
"Thanks for the food!" Naruto had water channelled through his right foot and turned around. "Water Dragon's Tidal Kick!" Naruto's Tidal Kick collided with Sasuke's blade. However, the results were different as Sasuke was the one who was overpowered, and his sword destroyed.

"I forgot to mention that being a Water Dragon Slayer means I can sense nearby water. I also knew that there was a river stream somewhere around here since I've been to this forest a few times. You changed Sasuke and now I'm going to pay you back for your part in hurting my friends!" Naruto then cracked his knuckles.
"As if!" 'His magic is restored! I guess he's given me no choice!' Sasuke used his broken sword to unleash a lightning serpent. Naruto took the attack head on this time, using a water enhanced arm to deflect it to the side, making it hit the ground and dispel. 'No!'
"Water Dragon's Deep Fist!" Naruto hit an uppercut. He then grabbed Sasuke and hit a water-enhanced knee into his gut. He then tossed Sasuke into the sky and breathed in before releasing a more powerful Dragon's Roar to defeat Sasuke.
"No!" Sasuke focused and made one last Chidori, this time in full power! "I won't lose! Not to you!" Sasuke had a crazed look and broke through the spell.

'He's using that spell again….Chidori. maybe I should test out that spell.' Naruto focused and gathered water into his right hand. However, this time the water channelled into his palm, forming into a sphere. Naruto thought about the time he met the person who showed him this move.
"Now kid. This is a powerful offensive spell. And since you upheld your end in the bargain, even though it wasn't exactly what I meant, I'll teach it to you." A tall man with long white spikey hair said to a younger Naruto. In his hand was a sphere of light.
"This spell, you can use it with your own element. My former student created this technique so that any element can be used to form it. But be warned, it is not an easy spell to master, no matter the element used to create it." He then looked at Naruto. "The name of this spell is….."
(Resume OST)
"Dragon Slayer Secret Art: Rasengan!" Naruto's water sphere collided with Sasuke's lightning palm. Their moves clashed and released a large shockwave which destroyed most of the area around them.
"N-No!" Sasuke's spell broke first and he was blasted back as the sphere burst into a large blast of water and hit him dead on. Sasuke was in the air until he fell, landing with a thud.

"H-How!? How did you become so strong!?" Sasuke demanded, managing to retain the strength to speak.
"I told you. I'm fighting for my friends, my guild and more importantly, my family. I got stronger because of them and they motivated me to surpass my limits. And I might not be a prodigy like you, but I trained and fought a lot tough people to get stronger. I never wanted to beat you this way." Naruto looked at Sasuke with pity, who only got angrier.
'You dare look at me like that! Fine! I'll use all they got!' Sasuke activated the Organic Link one last time to take the remaining powers of those in Phantom Lord's headquarters.
(Phantom Lord's Guild Hall)
"S-Sasuke!" All the members in the room had their powers stolen, barely having enough left to survive.
"That lacrima…..Organic Link Magic!" Erza had arrived. A lot had occurred after Natsu destroyed the lacrima. He was taken out of Phantom's headquarters by Happy after it changed into a giant robot, which was making forming a special magic circle. It would release the dangerous spell known as Abyss Break, which composed of the 4 elements that the Element 4 possessed. Hence why Erza was inside the headquarters now, she was searching for one of its sources. Natsu was weakened by his motion sickness and would have been finished if not for the intervention of Gray and Elfman. He was told to get out of building and go save Lucy, who was once again captured by the enemy, which Jose foolishly announced. At the same time, Mirajane's plan failed and she was held by the giant robot's hand.
Elfman managed to gain control of his Full-Body Take Over, but before he could, he beat down Sol easily. He managed to save his remaining sister, accepting his past sin and becoming stronger as a result.
Gray was now facing off against Juvia and Erza continued to look for Aria.
(With Natsu)
"Rest up Loke. I managed to find Lucy's scent, so I can find her now. Let's get going Happy!" Natsu and his winged companion. Natsu was informed by Reedus to where Lucy was located, he managed to create a small bird to call for help with his Pict Magic. Loke also managed to take out the grunts, but was defeated by Gajeel.
'Sorry for not being much help. I thought I could protect Lucy, but that Gajeel guy was too tough for me. I guess that I don't have much time. I'll be joining you soon, Karen.' Loke's mind had the image of a green-haired woman.
(Back with Naruto)
"This is the end!" Sasuke pointed his left hand upwards, which released a lightning bolt into the clouds, with lightning also surrounding his body.
"What did you do!?" Naruto could sense that Sasuke took more power and that the clouds changed to grey. Naruto knew something was coming and prepared for the worst. He saw that from the clouds emerged lightning, shaped like a serpentine dragon. 'T-That looks powerful!' Naruto knew that he could not dodge and decided to power through it.
"Suffer! You damn loser! Great Thunder Dragon!" Sasuke crazily yelled out, moving his left arm, to unleash his attack, only for his lightning dragon to burst and the lightning around his body to cancel out. 'N-No! Their power was not enough and my body is too weak!' Sasuke looked at Naruto with hatred, who only stared at with pity and sadness. "Enjoy this victory, because the next time, I will k-kill y-you!" Sasuke's words slurred until he finally fell unconscious.
"Sasuke….." Naruto looked at his rival sadly, but knew that their was still a guild war going on. He left, not even caring that he evened up their score at last. Now it was 50 wins and losses for both. Someone then appeared above Sasuke's body.

"I cannot believe it, the prodigy, Sasuke Uchiha, defeated by the Paladin of the Sea." It was Jellal. "But I have some use of you." Jellal picked Sasuke up and smirked. "My plan shall come to fruition. Soon I shall gain what I desire."
End. Sorry for the delay, but I always get interrupted every time I type it up and then lose my ideas. Do not worry, I will deviate a lot more soon, so far I have only deviated a little, but that will change.
The Organic Link Magic was inspired by Seven Deadly Sins, where Helbram was linked to Holy Knights and used their power to unleash a powerful attack. However, his injuries, fatigue and the fact that the Phantom Wizards did not have enough power to give Sasuke. Great Thunder Dragon is basically inspired by Kirin, but there's a reason why I did not call it that.
Also, you guys can guess who Naruto met when he was younger. Yes, his Rasengan is water-based, but factor in that his magic is Dragon Slayer Magic, it is quite powerful.
Next, I will update Dark Heart. I will update when I can for my stories, but I do have a lot of problems at home.
