Dragon Force

'He's slower but his attacks are much stronger than before!' Naruto was now facing off against Kimimaro, who transformed into his demonic form. 'Bones should not bend that way!' Naruto was still surprised to see Kimimaro's bone drill despite seeing it before. 'Yikes!' Naruto leaped into the air to avoid it. Kimimaro made sure to keep the damage to the tower a minimum and tried to force Naruto away from the giant Lacrima. Naruto then channelled water into his right leg and rushed towards Kimimaro, who allowed the attack to land on his face.

"You don't seem to get it. You are outmatched." Kimimaro did not flinch from the kick and smacked Naruto away from himself. He the created a rib cage and attached to it was the spinal bone whip, he once again trapped Naruto.

'Crap! Not again!' Naruto quickly channelled water into his feet to blast off, only for Kimimaro's hold to stay, with the demonic man swinging his spine and Naruto was forced to hit a large block of Lacrima, breaking it to smaller pieces.

"Oh, sorry. I'll be much careful next time, Lord Jellal still has use for the tower." Kimimaro looked at the fallen Naruto. "This tower has in taken the power of Etherion and I originally thought it was going to consume you to revive Zeref, the most evil wizard to have existed, but Lord Jellal told me his real plan."

'This Lacrima consume me? Wait…. If it's powered up….' Naruto looked at a piece of Lacrima that was about the size of his hand. 'I've had crazier ideas….. I better not puke…..' Naruto sat up and it looked like Kimimaro was about to wing again. 'Crap baskets!' Naruto comically tried reaching for the Lacrima piece with his left foot. He managed to touch it but felt himself being lifted up. 'Damn!' With quickly thinking, Naruto channelled a small amount of water to his left foot and blasted it into the air. Naruto was lifted from the ground and being tossed around. 'I need to time this right….' Naruto took multiplae slams to the ground until he was raised to the air one last time.

"You are resilient, but it is over now!" Kimimaro then noticed a brief shine. 'What is that?' Kimimaro finally noticed the Lacrima piece. 'What is that fool trying to do?' He noticed Naruto using another blast of water from his feet and he used his teeth to grab the Lacrima piece. 'Don't tell me he's going to…..' Kimimaro could not complete his thought as Naruto bit the Lacrima and began chewing it. 'He's eating the Lacrima!'

'I-It stings!' Naruto started coughing and his body was spasming until he began to focus. 'I c-can't give up!' Naruto began to adjust to the power, something Kimimaro began to notice this, and he slammed Naruto back to the ground, causing a smokescreen from the crash.

'I must finish it quickly!' Kimimaro created a bone drill again and aimed to maim Naruto before he could power up. However, a shockwave dispersed the smokescreen and Naruto stood up. Unlike last time, he broke the rib cage, shocking Kimimaro. 'He didn't weaken the rib cage, that means…' Kimimaro wasted no time and went to pierce Naruto.

"Should have ended it earlier instead of playing around." Naruto said in a much raspier voice than usual and used a water-enhanced right hand to stop the drill.

'He stopped my attack with just his hand!?' Kimimaro tried spinning his drill, but Naruto crushed tightened his grip, causing cracks. 'He's changed!' Kimimaro took in the changes to Naruto's appearance. Naruto's hair was much spikier, his forearms had blue scale-like patterns, as well as around the eyes and his eyes turned yellow with slits for pupils. His teeth were much sharper too.

"What's wrong, demon? Dragon got your tongue?" Naruto sounded vicious to Kimimaro.

'It's not just his appearance but also his personality too.' Kimimaro destroyed his own drill and jumped back, shocked at what he could see. Mentally he could see the image of a dragon. 'A d-dragon!' Kimimaro felt some fear for the first time in a long time. 'No! I will not fear him!' Kimimaro released a shockwave from his body, indicating his fury and his strength increase. "I warn you now, I am coming with the intent to kill you and my bones will not break as easily."

"Oh yeah? Then bring it!" Naruto began his attack, with a right hook hitting Kimimaro dead on. A torrent of water was released from Naruto's fist and it forced Kimimaro back, knocking him out of the tower and down to the tower's dock/beach area.

'His power has increased significantly! Even more than when he consumes water. I was told by Lord Jellal about this ability…. It was called Dragon Force if I recall. And at any rate, it has definitely made him much stronger. I can't play around with him.' Kimimaro, despite his fear and then anger earlier, he now felt excitement. 'Here he comes!' Naruto arrived and rushed towards Kimimaro.

"Show me your power, Swift Paladin!" Kimimaro's body released more curved bones, but this time they weren't just protruding from his body or being held by him and instead floated around him, rapidly spinning as if they were buzzsaws.

"Oh, didn't know you could do that?" Naruto was a little surprised, but he carried on heading towards Kimimaro. Naruto, as soon as he got close to hit Kimimaro again had to dodge the bone buzzsaw, which grazed his left cheek. 'Those things are fast!' Naruto the avoided the bone drill Kimimaro summoned.

'You cannot block, and I won't give you a chance to attack. My Spinning Death Blades are extremely fast and durable, all you can do is avoid!' Kimimaro originally could not control any bone that left his body, but his demonic form gave him this ability or rather helped him unlock it.

"You think spinning blades can stop me." Naruto surprised Kimimaro by channelling water into his feet and blasted towards him, bypassing Kimimaro's Spinning Death Blades and landing a kick against Kimimaro. However, he was cut from behind by the one of the spinning blades, but he managed to move out of the way before it cut him in half. "Damn, you ruined my favourite orange shirt." Naruto ripped it off himself and then felt the large cut it made. 'He's slightly slower than his human form, but that's why he summoned those spinning bones, they make up for his speed. If I get rid of them first and then I can target him before he can summon more.'

'He's plotting something. No matter, he is no longer needed alive. As long as Titania is still here.' Kimimaro recalled the brief conversation he had with Jellal who used his telepathy.

'Lord Jellal. You changed your original plan? I thought the plan was to find a wizard with great magical power and perform the ritual to revive Lord Zeref.' Kimimaro asked his employer.

'Well, the Tower requires 2.7 Billion Edeas which will be provided when the council unleashes Etherion at us. Then we require someone who has high magical power.' Jellal replied to the Bone Magic user.

'Do we still require the Swift Paladin?' Kimimaro asked Jellal.

'As a backup in case Erza is unavailable.' Jellal told him, expecting Kimimaro to comply.

"You know, those things are beginning to annoy me!" Naruto turned his back to Kimimaro and his palms were channelled with water. 'Focus and let go!' Naruto chopped two of the spinning blades and halted them. Then he grabbed them used them to deflect the other ones, he then used the two he held as weapons to break two more of them before leaping into the air and hovering above Kimimaro and his spinning blades. "Water Dragon's Roar!" Naruto breathed in to release a massive roar attack, which hit Kimimaro and his bones dead on.

As Kimimaro's bones were destroyed, including the bone armour he created to protect himself from Naruto's attack and the patch of land he was standing on was also obliterated by Naruto's roar attack. We see Kimimaro just falling into the sea, barely conscious.

'It seems I was the weaker one this time. As an assassin, I knew that I would be killed sonner or later.' Kimimaro had no regrets except one. 'Haku….No!' Kimimaro could mentally see an image of Haku and he decided for one last push. He body released a shockwave and he went back up to the surface, summoning a giant demonic-looking skeleton. It had six arms with sharp bone blades connected to the elbows. "Haku! I will win for you!"

'That skeleton looks like its barely holding together.' Naruto was right, as the giant skeleton's bones were shaking slightly some joints were starting to appear loose. Naruto dodged its arms, however, Kimimaro also began sending finger bullets at him. 'Attacking the joints should dismantle this thing and leave him open for an attack.' Naruto had to allow one of the arms to hit him to avoid the bullets, but he quickly rebounded and jumped on each arm. Naruto then used the momentum to leap into the air. 'I feel like this form won't last long, so I better end this!' Naruto joined his hands and had water channelled through of them, separating them but the water was still connected. The bubbles formed inside it and were ready to be unleashed.

(Play One Piece OST-Gigant Thor Axe)

"Water Dragon's Bubble Launcher!" Naruto released many bubbles against Kimimaro's skeleton.

'Fool! Bubbles won't sto….No!' Kimimaro noticed the bubbles hitting the joints, with the bones beginning to disconnect. 'H-How? I was supposed to be one of the strongest members of Death Head's Caucus and a disciple to Zabuza!' Kimimaro used his skeleton's entire body to attack Naruto.

'You've lost this time!' Naruto channelled water into his feet and broke through the skeleton's skull.

"Water Dragon's…" Naruto's mind had images of his previous and current battles with Kimimaro appear. "…..Tidal Kick!" He tore destroyed the skeleton and hit Kimimaro head on. Kimimaro instantly reverted to human form and was sent back to the ocean.

"It's over." Naruto quickly dived in and moved quickly towards the sinking Kimimaro and grabbed him before heading back to the surface. Naruto was breathing a little heavily and reverted back to this normal self.

"W-Why?" Kimimaro croaked out after spitting some water out of his mouth. He was laying on his back and could not move due to his injuries.

"Why what?" Naruto fell on his bottom and sighed in relief.

"Why d-did you s-save me from drowning?" Kimimaro could barely speak, but he managed out the words before he could fall unconscious.

"Because we of Fairy Tail value life. I understand that there comes a time where its kill or be killed but someone strong like you, I can't let you die here. You also called out a name and that made me think that you have someone important waiting for you. That Haku person is waiting for you, probably in prison, so I'll reunite you with her." Naruto remembered the usually masked person that appeared Kimimaro.

"I-I see. Showing k-kindness to y-your enemy s-shall be y-your own u-undoing. B-But I-I can't s-say that I-I'm not thankful." 'But if our Master finds us, we shall die for our failure.' Kimimaro lost consciousness and was finally beaten.

'That was scary, I never acted like that before.' Naruto felt different when he unlocked Dragon Force, as if it also unlocked his more vicious side. 'And I feel woozy…..Damn, maybe I shouldn't eaten that Lacrima….' Naruto landed on his bottom and felt weak.

"Naruto!" Naruto heard his name called out by a familiar face. Gray arrived, much to Naruto's happiness. Gray had heard the explosions and noises made from Naruto's battle with Kimimaro. "Didn't think I'd see you here. What the hell are you doing here?"

"Got kidnapped and I ended up beating my kidnapper, but I ate some of the Lacrima and it gave me a power up." Naruto felt weak. "Right now I'm feeling weak from eating it. But do me a favour, will you? I'm gonna pass out soon, so could you carry this guy to a boat and I'll explain later." Naruto fell unconscious before Gray could protest.

'Honestly, you Dragon Slayers are nothing but trouble.' Gray looked at Naruto's form. 'At least you're less of a pain in my ass then Flame Brain.'

(Back with Jellal)

'Kimimaro has been beaten? Then Sasuke will stand no chance unless he trains himself.' Jellal thought to himself silently before turning his attention back to Erza, who was on her knees and her arms stretched out, as if she was chained. She had snake-like marks around her body. He body convulsed slightly, and she fell to her back.

"Y-You placed a binding spell on me from that hug." Erza exclaimed to Jellal. Jellal then stood over her.

"I'm sorry. But I don't want to fight you Erza. I am no longer under someone's control, but that person's spell is still under effect." Jellal sounded like his old self to Erza, but she was still confused to his actions.

"Then why do you need the Lacrima?" Erza demanded rather than asked of her once former friend.

"I have no use for it personally, but to put it simply, this Lacrima tower will be a gift to my benefactor." Jellal was referring to Orochimaru.

"Then, that person won't be getting it!" A voice called out and Jellal too a flame-enhanced punch from none other than Natsu Dragneel, sliding away from Erza because of the attack.

"N-Natsu!" Erza did not expect to see Natsu arrive. "I-I told you to leave!"

"Sorry, but I can't. Not until I beat this guy and get you out of here." Natsu told her seriously, but then was confused at seeing her in her current predicament. "Why are you like that?"

"He put a binding spell on me. Right now, I can't move my legs or arms or even my entire body." Eerza replied to him which made Natsu grin briefly since he thought about tickling her as payback for her beating him up many times in the past, but he then heard Jellal speak, returning to his serious demeanour.

"You have a way of interfering with other people, Natsu Dragneel." Jellal's personality shifted again. He sounded much more aggressive than when he spoke to Erza. "You know, I heard many stories of you being the most destructive being whenever you fight strong opponents. I want to see if its true."

"Well, then I'm happy to oblige!" Natsu charged towards Jellal who simply stood there, waiting for Natsu's attack.

(Back with Magical Council Headquarters) (Play One Piece OST-A Powerful Foe Arrives)

"How many children have you corrupted and betrayed? Answer me Orochimaru!" Sarutobi was enraged, though he took the defensive and summoned mud walls to protect himself from Orochimaru's aura snake's fangs.

"This time it was not me. Ultear placed a possession spell on Jellal, or Seigrain as you would know him. I simply freed his mind without undoing the spell completely so that Ultear here would be none the wiser." Orochimaru looked at the poisoned girl and smirked, turning his gaze back to Hiruzen. "Of course, it still amplifies his rage and other negative emotions, meaning even if he has good intentions, he has the capability of attacking anyone who threatens his goals. But I'll undo the spell when I next see him in person. So, my old teacher, will you allow me to leave, or do I have to kill you?"

"Even if you kill me, another shall take my place. And I won't be making this easy for you, my old student!" Hiruzen Sarutobi then removed his robes to reveal his battle attire, wearing a black jumpsuit with mesh parts, gauntlets and a helmet with the kanji for 'fire' engraved on it. Hiruzen was ready to battle Orochimaru and stop his plans.

"Please do entertain me!" Orochimaru opened his mouth and reached down his throat, pulling out a double-edged straight sword.

'The Sword of Kusanagi. So, you still have that accursed blade. Then I cannot be lax.' Hiruzen summoned his own weapon, a large staff.

"That's the staff of the Monkey King, Enma. That is your weapon of choice, Sarutobi-sensei." Orochimaru used the term he used to call Hiruzen back when he was under his tutelage. They charged each other and ignored the nearby Ultear.

'T-The p-poison is spreading!' Ultear could barely breathe, but she then heard footsteps and saw the feet of the mysterious person who appeared and looked up to see Sasuke. Orochimaru and Hiruzen noticed his presence immediately.

'He's Kakashi's former apprentice and Itachi's younger brother, Sasuke.' Hiruzen stared at the boy who picked up Ultear by her hair. He then transformed into his demonic form, summoning his wings. 'This form…..He drank the blood of the demon! That means Jellal gave him this blood.'

'I see he had an affinity for the demon's blood.' Orochimaru smirked and then continued attacking Hiruzen, who managed to defend himself with his staff. Sasuke used this chance to fly off with Ultear.

(Back with Natsu)

Jellal had succumbed his rage and sent a blast meant to kill Natsu and Erza, but Simon defended them, making the behemoth of a man fall. Erza was freed by the binding spell thanks to Natsu using his flames to burn it off. Erza held Simon who only thought of Erza before he died, causing the normally strong woman to cry out for now deceased friend.

'S-Simon. H-How could I-I…No! My vengeance must come first!' Jellal's self-loathing only made the possession spell's negative effects take over and he lost most thoughts of his regret. Natsu knew that he could not defeat him as he was now, but like Naruto before him, he ate a piece of the Lacrima and began rolling around the floor, holding his neck before regaining his self and adapting to the power. Just like Naruto, Natsu has scale-like patterns around his eyes and face, with some on his arms.

'This power…..Dragon Force!' Jellal thought and despite his unstable state, he was still able to think of battle tactics against Natsu. 'I've come too far!'

End. Next chapter or two should end this arc and do not worry, I am still trying to deviate from canon, but I feel Natsu's first usage of Dragon Force is necessary, and I did not know how to write it in my original way just yet. I kind of took the cheap route and made the Possession Spell just effect his darker thoughts instead of full on brainwashing. Of course, it will be undone but now the damage is already done. Plus, Simon was basically the only real death in Fairy Tail unlike most of the fake-outs.
