SK Future: Soul Kingdom Intro/Haven City
The Starship Phonix returns to Soul Kingdom after the mission to recruit the Soul Princes' Guardians. Sora speaks first. "Well, that trip around the Universe of Life took less time than expected. We have our Guardians, and, just in case, a Skylander army. Although I hope we don't have to use the army." The mere mention of the term Skylander is enough to make the Soul Princes nervous, as that's their last resort. As the Soul Princes begin to disembark, Bentley's Heartless Detector starts going crazy. Sly asks, "What's causing the Heartless Detector to freak out, Bentley? I haven't seen it respond to Darkness like it currently is in a while." "Well, Penelope and I did some tinkering, and we were able to expand the search radius to the entire Universe of Life due to the signal strength from Soul Kingdom." "That must be some signal. Where are we headed next?" "Sadly, the Keyhole is not locked in the Precursor's Domain." "That's where Jak and Daxter, our Guardians of Courage and Loyalty, live!" "If the Heartless on Precurra aren't taken care of soon, then something that's definitely worse than the Mar time loop breaking will happen…" "Get the keys to the Phonix."

The Soul Princes land on Precurra, and waiting for them are who else but Jak and Daxter. Daxter speaks first. "Finally! We were getting so tired waiting for you guys to come, I had to start telling the story of how I rescued Jak from Haven City prison for what, the hundredth time?" "Three hundred and fourteenth, actually." Bentley gets a smirk on his face. "Pi. Ironic. Huh. Well, we're here now, so I'll cut to the chase. How bad's the situation?" Jak speaks. "The Heartless have been stealing Eco from the new generators for the past little while. They're running off reservoir power for now, but that status… well, it can't exactly last much longer. We're going to need some help restoring power…" "For the first time in a while, Soul Prince duty calls…" We cut to gameplay in Haven City. "If we find a place to put them, those bits of Eco may add up to enough energy to restart the Generators…"
Across the map are Eco Harvesters, a perfect place to put bits of Eco gathered from defeated Heartless that can be transferred into the Generators. After doing this 5 times, referencing the "Unblock the Eco Harvesters" mission from Sentinel Beach in Jak 1, Bentley heads to the computer and gets a look at the code that's moving energy out of the pods. He freezes. "Bentley, you ok? Buddy? Focus…" "What? But the generators should be getting stronger, not weaker! This is all wrong! We need to pull the plug on this operation right now!" An evil smile is noticed on the faces of two people in the room. "Jak, Dax. What did you do?" "What we had to. Enough of this charade." Darkness starts pouring out of Jak and Daxter. Darkness that has a recognizable voice. The Sins of Wrath and Greed, Ira and Superbia. "We haven't seen the Sins since the "board meeting." Whatever their motives for possessing Jak and Dax, it can't be good." "What's the probability it's just the two of them?" "Run the numbers later, Bentley!" The Sins take the form of twisted versions of Jak and Daxter's Dark Eco forms as we cut to a boss fight. Don't get close to the boss, or Jak will claw you to death. Since I can tell you that the endgame for Soul Kingdom is close, I'd imagine that this fight is a bit of a difficulty spike. It wasn't planned, this reference to the actual difficulty spike going from Jak 1 to 2, but it's funny how things work out sometimes… We head into a post boss fight cutscene. Once he's sure the Sins are gone, Sora hands a Potion to Jak and Dax, and they slowly get up. "Thanks for the assist, but if I have to drink that again, it'll be too soon." Sora smiles as conversation returns to the Generators. "Allow me." Jak turns into his Light Eco form, recently supercharged after becoming a Soul Prince Guardian. The generators are quickly recharged, properly this time, after Jak casts a reverse syphon spell. "And that should do it. Sorry for almost killing you guys." "We've been through worse scares than that…" "So I take it you guys are headed out?" "That's the plan. We're going to go check on the other Guardians, just to make sure they're doing all right. You've got us thinking about the other Sins.. we'll call you if anything comes up."

Bentley gets a smile on his face.
"The Lylat System and Team Star Fox."
