Jay had finally got past the boss completing the level and now the blue ninja was bored. He would go mess with his yang but she was out buying groceries , kai had taken wlydfire for a training/bonding trip, zane and cole had went to discover master wu's secerts. It was just him ,nya, and sora left at the monestray though sora has been distant since arin being closest to him .

Lloyd walks in looking tired as he grabs a drink . " I'll probably get home late tonight a mission came up " he says running a hand through his hair. Jay is concerned " actually I think you should stay here and let me go after all haven't had a solo in a while " he suggests . Mainly because he knew llyod hadn't been sleeping well but also because since he returned the others have refused to send him out alone.

Lloyd considers the thought of letting jay go . The mission was simple a load of stolen drugs were being sold and all jay needs to do is capture the crooks.

He sighs" I think your ready for a solo but nya would freak out on me".

Jay grins" that's why we are going together " at that time nya walks in " who's going where ?" she instantly looks alert. " Lloyd needs a break so I'm going on his mission company would be nice " he suggests to her. She agrees quickly and llyod gives them the time and location.

" thanks for letting me come with you " she says shyly as they're waiting for the deal to go down . Jay flashes a smile " of course I felt that fear after you know what " they refused to say his name or the word wish to this day.

" I know this fear is terrible I get scared if you leave my eye sight." she shudders as she recalled the first time. He only went to the arcade but when she realized he was gone she broke down crying. Kai found her instantly asking what happened " he's gone" is all she sobbed. Soon the entire team was there " he went to check out the new arcades." cole said remembering their conversation . Unfortunately Jay wasn't wearing his gi so he didn't have his comms on him luckily he had his phone and after a threatening call from Kai soon she was sobbing as he held her. He apologized for not telling her about his plans promising to not do it again .

She frowned was she becoming too clingy. "looks like our cue" Jay's words brings her attention back to the moment . She could figure that out later for now though it was time to kick ass with her Yin.

They jump from their spot catching everyone's attention . The crooks aim their weapons " you ninja just couldn't stay away that'll be your last mistake " the boss signals his goons to take care of them . The couple dodge the shots running at them . Nya punches one in the jaw jumping to avoid the others. She preforms spinjitzu knocking out the rest. Jay leaps in air landing behind the group punching the ground unleashing a burst of lightning the goons groan falling unconscious. He grins " don't look so shocked if you were from Ninjago you would've known that won't work with us".

Henry had been effectively building his business since the merge and now it was all crumbling before him . He looks at the drugs if he could hit one with it he can get away . He smirks " well as nice as this has been I think we're done " he tossed the pack at the girl. Jay pushes her back getting a face full coughing. Nya rushes to his side" are you okay ". she looks him over though he seem fine aside from the hazed glint in his eyes .

He stares intensely at her like he was studying her . She gets worried not knowing what drugs were in his system. His eyes have a dark glint as he tries to grab her . She jerks back out of his reach" Jay" she says cautiously taking a step back only for him to step forward . She considers what to do obviously she needs to get away before they draw attention to themselves and figure out what is in his system . She turns to run hearing him growl and footsteps trailing behind her . . . the chase was on.
