Waking up first Itachi could tell she hadn't moved, a swift change in his position, he was on his feet leaving her to sleep. It had been many years since he had slept as much as she did, the idea of sleeping soundly behind enemy lines unnerved him. Checking Kisame he was also still asleep, focusing on his writing in the old book with what he had learnt last night, he finished too soon as she was still asleep.

"Enjoying your kunoichi, Itachi?"

"Kisame"

The warning in Itachi's tone, she could be listening to them.

"Sour because you didn't get your cock seen to last night?"

From Itachi's bed, Sakura was listening closely, stilling herself as she heard the word from Kisame, Itachi saw her still from his desk. It was subtle Kisame would of missed it but he hadn't, raising from his desk Itachi was done with this conversation more than Kisame realised.

"I'm not sour, Kisame. Nor do I need my 'cock' to be any concern of yours"

Kisame threw his hands up in surrender, Kisame back down from this line of questioning, he was all too aware of the Uchiha being very cold, he wondered why this kunoichi had such an affect on him. Silence once again overcame the two ninja as they sat in the room. Kisame wanted to know what attracted Itachi to this kunoichi, Kisame could see he was acting weird with this kunoichi; the cold Uchiha was different more warmer. His banter with Kisame had increased. A strong example the Uchiha saying cock, it wasn't a word he would say. Departing the room, he had plans to leave the roommates to their own thing for the day.

"I know you are up, Sakura"

"What are you twelve? Going round telling people I have slept with you"

"Enough Sakura"

Turning away he was aware of her green eyes now staring at him from the bed, they were angry as he ignored her gaze, he needed to pull himself together in order for his mission to continue being a success.

"Itachi, I will fight you every step of the way"

"It is too late for you, Kunoichi"

The pillow made contact with his shoulder, Itachi just watched it, flicking his gaze to her.

"A pillow won't do much, Sakura"

"Can I borrow a kunai then?"

It was too early to start an argument with her, Itachi rose from his desk. Taking the pillow in his hand, he returned it to the bed beside her. Green eyes were watching him so closely as he crouched down before her, she moved herself back against the wall to create space between them.

"Did you not sleep well, kunoichi?"

Sakura didn't reply to him, she was done answering his questions. Itachi saw her lift the pillow, his eyes watched as he went to strike him on the head with it. Grabbing the pillow he crushed it in his grip, ripping it from her hands as he tossed it away from her. Moving in closer to her, Itachi's hands landed on the wall either side of her head.

"Kisame, isn't here. You don't need to put on a show"

She went to punch him, Itachi grabbing her wrist before she made contact. Preparing herself for him breaking the bones the pain never came as he just stood over her holding her wrist and staring down at her.

"A little pathetic, Sakura"

Sakura growled, she wondered how he got off on calling her pathetic. Pulling her arm back towards her body, he released her wrist and waited for her next move.

"Are your eyes damaged?"

The question was an extremely sensitive topic for Itachi, it was known that the sharingan damaged the users eyes to a certain level, the higher level of the sharingan the higher lasting affects it had on the users eyes. Itachi had been closely monitoring the damage done to his eyes, more than a standard users, but not unreasonable and wasn't reflected in his actions yet. It would one day in the next few years be an issue for him, but with Sasuke coming to kill him, he wasn't sure it would ultimately matter.

"That is a very personal question"

Itachi stared at her expression, the way she parted her lips as she thought. The way she looked just past his ear as she thought, he had noticed her heart rate increased.

"Behave Sakura"

Itachi pushed off the wall to stand up straight again at the edge of the bed, he could see the ties at her wrists lose as she raised her wrist to rub her bare shoulder. The t-shirt she wore had in her sleep slipped from her shoulder exposing the tattoo she wore on her shoulder. A small branch with a cherry blossom, Itachi could see the Anbu logo nestled within the design.

"Your not Anbu"

"Turns out Itachi Uchiha, doesn't know everything"

Itachi knew her skills were not at that of an Anbu, but her medical abilities would be an essential assets on Anbu missions, her ability to heal life threatening injuries could change the outcome of a mission and the outcome of a ninja's life. That may explain why she had been on the battlefield that day, she had been brought to heal ninja not engage in the battle.

"Medic Anbu?"

"Why should I answer you?"

"If you had trained harder, you wouldn't of been caught, Sakura"

Itachi was ready for her punch, he pulled her up off the bed to her feet. Twisting her arm behind her, he stood behind her his mouth beside her ear.

"That was expected, Sakura"

"Fuck you, Uchiha"

Struggling against him, she stepped on his foot which had no affect on him. Itachi enjoyed the toying with her, she was easily angered, easily tossed around and so much leaf spirt. Sakura pushed her hands into him, it was times like this that Itachi was glad she didn't have her enhanced chakra strength, even with just her strength she was able to widen the space between them. Itachi stepped back in an attempt to steady himself, letting one foot stay in place as the other braced him against her push back. Pushing back at her, Itachi pinned her wrists to the wall behind her. Itachi felt her breath on his neck as he leaned in towards her, she was proving to be as difficult as he thought she would be.

"Please let me go"

Itachi could tell from the tone in her voice, Itachi loosened his grip on her bruised hand as he released her. Watching as Sakura held her hand against her body, Itachi could tell it was still quiet tender for her. He hadn't noticed her favouring her good hand over the other, but come to think about it she was only punching with her good hand still.

"Calmed down?"

Sakura nodded slowly, Itachi watched as she pulled herself forwards towards the edge of the bed. Noting that the ties of her wrists had come undone, Itachi told it upon himself to secure they tightly around each of her wrists so they wouldn't come lose. Watching the ease in which he secured the ties, Sakura wanted to cry. Forcing herself to look away from him, her hand throbbed as she tried to support it. Truth be told she could use an ice pack, she was tempted to ask him but stayed silent instead. Itachi directed her to go sit at the table while he went and retrieved food for both of them, returning he could see her wrapping a bandage around her bruised hand. The white gauze would do nothing to assist in the bruises but keep the swelling down and allow it to heal faster. Itachi sat opposite her, the process was always the same as they ate, Itachi would select the items he wanted her to eat and set them on her plate. Her gaze never left the table between them, Itachi didn't mention it as she was eating fine. Her coughing made him freeze, she covered her mouth with her hands as she continued to cough. Offering her a drink, Sakura gladly accepted it as she continued to cough into her hand. Raising from the table, Itachi left her there as he got another glass and more water for her. Returning she had stopped coughing, he could see the way she sat with her hands in her lap.

"Thank you"

Itachi nodded, offering her the water glass. Itachi could feel the awkwardness in the air as he stood above her, he had tasks to do and he couldn't take her with him.

"Stay here"

Sitting alone on the bed, Sakura sighed to herself. Her bruised hand throbbing from the pain, the impact of the wall as he pinned her back against it had been hard. Itachi had gone next door to check the room he had originally intended to keep her in, entering the room he found that someone else had cleaned up the mess and the room was completely clean. His eyes caught on to three books piled on the counter, peaking his interest Itachi moved towards them. Flicking through the pile of books they were all about puppets, confused as to why they would be in here, a sound in the attached bathroom made him glance up. Sasori stepped out the bathroom, his eyes narrow as his gaze landed on Itachi in the room.

"Can I help you, Uchiha?"

"This room is for the Sakura"

"Leader, suggested I take it over while mine receives repairs"

Itachi hadn't been notified of such by Leader, nodding in understanding he left. This would make things more difficult, he would have to leave her for an extended period of time loose in his room. His concerns were what if Kisame returned while he was away, was Sakura stupid enough to answer Kisame. The possibility of her being injured if she engaged in an argument with Kisame, opening the door to his room Itachi narrowly dodged the plate that came flying his way. Sakura stood in the small kitchenette, multiple cabinets open as she had been searching for anything of use to her. Exactly what he needed today, Itachi sighed taking in the shattered plate on the floor behind the door. Activating his sharingan, Itachi caught her as she fell. Setting her on the bed he didn't want to have to keep using the sharingan, it meant that if she was approached by an Akatsuki member she would be completely defenceless. Leaving to find Kisame, Itachi locked the door so even Kisame would be unable to enter without significant effort. Sakura screamed into the empty black void that seemed to surround her, taking into account that this was an endless word created by Itachi. She slammed her fist into the ground, watching it crack around her. It seemed within his sharingan she had use of her chakra, beneath the crack she could see what appeared to be the leaf village. Smashing the ground again, she leapt down into the village. It was further away then she thought, Sakura braced herself as she stopped just above the ground just hovering there. Glancing round she reached out to touch the floor and fell the couple of inches barely sticking the landing. Spotting a much younger Itachi, she could his distinctive features even as a teen. Moving towards him, those black eyes rose to hers as he strode past her. Sakura didn't want to be here, she would of preferred to stay in the black void, that place at the very least didn't have Itachi.

"Follow me" The young Itachi ordered.

Sakura shook her head, she wasn't following this illusion anywhere she had to figure out how to get out of here. Heading away from the young Itachi, Sakura found she kept appearing back at his side. The free smirk that covered his face, as she looked at him. It was appearing like she had no other choice then to follow this young Itachi, letting him guide her for the village. It looked so strange, everyone looked so much younger then she had ever remembered them. The buildings and the streets also different from how things looked now. A distant voice shouting at her, made Sakura stop in her tracks. Closing her eyes, she could hear her own voice screaming. But it wasn't in this sharingan illusion it was outside of that, the distant feelings of hands over her body made her shiver. The illusion word seemed to be melting around her, the void seeming to return as she tried to figure out what was going on.

"Itachi, what is going on?"

Sakura felt cold surround her, the young illusion of Itachi standing before her in the black void.

"I'm only an illusion"

Sakura cursed, she didn't like what she was feeling. Shaking her head, she knelt on the floor to try and rid the feelings and noise from her mind. Something was going on in the real world, wishing she was about to get out of Itachi's sharingan. There had to be a way, she had known Kakashi had managed it, but he had a sharingan and it had put him in the hospital. Back in the real world, Hidan stood above Sakura with Pein at his side.

"Is this really the girl, Itachi is so infuriated with?"

"Yes, it is, Hidan"

Sakura was lying in the bed on her side facing the wall with her back to them, her mind was with Itachi's sharingan still as they watched her. Leader had been pleased to find out Itachi and Kisame had left for the Rain village, he needed to investigate this kunoichi. With Itachi hovering around, it had been hard to tell if she would be a threat to the organisation. Pein hadn't factored in Sakura being trapped within the sharingan, it did make matters more difficult to get an impression of the girl. Pein's hand lifted the bruised hand from her side, inspecting it closely he squeezed one of the bruises feeling as she gently tried to pull it back against her body, he grabbed her wrist with his other hand and repeated it. Kisame had filled him in on the injury to her hand, that Itachi had made her heal. Pein wondered why she hadn't been allowed to heal the bruises it seemed like a dick move from the Uchiha. Maybe Kisame was over reacting, but Leader had seen it himself with Itachi acting strangely. Hidan rolled her over on to her back, he ripped the front of her shirt in the process as he touched her waist and stomach. The girl screamed in pain as Pein squeezed her injured hand and Hidan ran a kunai across her stomach creating a shallow slice along the flesh.

"Enough Hidan"

Taking his leave, Hidan knew he was of no use while she was out in the sharingan world. Leader remained standing over, he wondered why Itachi kept her mind occupied within the sharingan while he was away. Allowing his chakra to enter Sakura's body, he broke the control of the sharingan and left. Curling up in the bed her hand was throbbing in pain, she glanced round the room to find it completely empty. Sakura had definitely felt someone had been in here with her, their chakra still lingered in her body, as she forced herself to sit up. Heart pounding in her chest it seemed so loud, time passed so slowly in the silent room. The door to the room was closed over, moving towards it she went to close it when it opened to the Akatsuki Leader was standing right there, waiting for her. Not given the chance to scream Sakura was slammed into the ground, she struggled to pull her body to her feet as Pein threw her across the room into the wall. Looking up from her position on the floor, Sakura knew she was in grave danger.
