-Naruto-

Turkey day! Naruto absolutely loved this day last year (never turn down a ton of free yummy food!), although he didn't really get why this day in particular should have so much. Harvest season surplus, maybe? Seems kind of wasteful, honestly. Of course, Naruto's not stupid. It's a holiday, that's kind of what a holiday is. But there's usually something else to go with the food, right? Like Christmas gets presents. Meh. Don't question free food.
"It's Thanksgiving, brat. I don't know much about human holidays, but that name doesn't really leave a lot of guesswork here. Probably a day to express your thankfulness or something like that. Dunno how that ties into a ton of food, though. Probably some historical stuff that I just don't care to learn."
Makes sense. So it's a day of thankfulness? If that's it, then the meal itself probably doesn't actually matter a whole ton to the holiday itself, although that does seem to be the whole center of the celebration. If Sasuke's family invited Naruto, does that mean they're thankful for him? Naruto is practically glowing with happiness at the thought. And the Uchiha really are observant, because Mikoto is quick to ask him about his sudden joy. Which Naruto is happy to elaborate on. Sasuke looks like he could melt through the floor in awkwardness! But Mikoto-san seems happy, and Itachi is (subtly) radiating pure joy. Fugaku... is almost as awkward as Sasuke. Oh! Idea!
"Hey, Mikoto-san, do you think I could do a late Thanksgiving for you guys?"
Mikoto blinked in confusion.
"I suppose, but you don't have to. We invited you to be a part of our Thanksgiving, after all. We don't expect you to feed us in return!"
"But it's a thankful day, right? You give food to the people you're thankful for!"
If it was possible for Sasuke to look like he wanted nothing more than to melt to the floor in both happiness and embarrassment, it would be happening. Naruto was incredibly pleased with the reaction.
"But, um, it'd be kinda different from a normal Thanksgiving, 'cause I'm not a super great cook. I'm a good baker though! And I'm finally opening one of my first Foxbux in a foreign nation, so I thought we could go there! You guys could get my new shop's first donuts!"
Mikoto glanced at Fugaku, who didn't seem to have any objections.
"Well, I suppose if the Hokage has no objections, we'd love to take you up on that."
As it turned out, the Hokage approved. As much as he loves Naruto, the trip to and back would take about a week (plus however long they stayed there), and a week of peace is a week of recovery for the very confused economy. Even better, Naruto managed to invite Shisui and Hinata! Hiashi jii-san insisted on coming with his daughter, but Hitomi-san wanted to stay behind. Apparently traveling with a baby is hard, and she didn't want to leave Hanabi for so long.

-Fugaku-
.
Hiashi has been quiet on the journey. That's good. It means he's scared of Naruto, which is even better considering that he's practically a part of the clan without actually being an Uchiha. Fugaku can (and absolutely will) use this against Hiashi at any given opportunity. But right now, it'd be best to just enjoy the trip. As clan head, Fugaku has to stay in the village most of the time to lead the clan. Mikoto has to stay home too to take care of the children and the house, and Sasuke has never been outside the village before. Itachi is the only one who regularly goes outside, but that's for missions. Never sightseeing. Fugaku is happy to enjoy this low-stakes trip with his family.
Naruto is leading the way. Most of them know the general way (he did tell them the country), but Naruto's the one who invited them over and he's the one who knows the exact location of his coffee shop, so he's the one leading. Although he's rather distracted with his squabbling with Sasuke. It seems Naruto made a rather unflattering drawing of Sasuke, and Sasuke took offense. Fugaku peeked at the drawing. It actually wasn't bad, especially for a nine-year-old. Actually, it was clear Naruto put care into it. It was a rather strange angle, though.
The squabble started to devolve into a brawl. Might as well put a stop to it.
"Naruto, why did you choose to set up shop in Wave?"
Naruto paused in his brawling to squint up at Fugaku.
"Everyone in Wave really wants a job. Apparently it's been hard to find work recently? Plus, there are shortages of, like, everything! Any half-decent smuggler could easily make thousands just bringing food! Dunno why the border's so tight, but it's easy enough to get supplies for the shop through. And it gave me an awesome idea! I can buy from local farmers and hire local bakers, so we can have a mix of my baked stuff and local baked stuff, so people have a reason to travel to foreign Foxbux! If I get big enough, I might even get critics rating the different restaurants!"
Fugaku nodded in approval.
"A good idea. Eager workers and a unique menu are good for your business plans."
"Right? But the gangs are a pain."
"Gangs?"
"Yeah! I've got thugs and other idiots showing up at the door all the time! It's so annoying to fight them off, but it's fun to find enough dumpsters to lock them all in!"
Yeah, Fugaku's not going to question that. In a poor country like Wave, it would certainly make sense for some gangs and other criminals to try to steal from a relatively wealthy shop. Most likely, Naruto will always have to deal with those until the economy recovers. Except the idiots (or the desperate) who just don't learn their lesson.
Either that or some shipping magnate is trying to choke out Naruto's business. If that's the case, the poor fool is in for absolute pain and suffering. Fugaku does not pity any idiot who tries to mess with Naruto's coffee.

-Hiashi-
.
Hiashi wasn't exactly sure what to expect. Admittedly, he'd never been inside the Foxbux in Konoha, so he was going in blind. The gang at the door was different, but not exactly surprising, given the conversations on the way. Itachi and Shisuidispatched them rather quickly, and with surprising viciousness. Apparently, they don't take kindly to gangs trying to destroy Naruto's new shop. Hiashi will have to make a note of that. Not that he's stupid enough to mess with Naruto.
But the real surprise was the inside. Somehow, it was filled with live turkeys, and there was a mess of pudding everywhere! Naruto was very displeased. Especially when it turned out that the two clones he left behind to watch the store were the ones who did it "because it's Turkey Day, and what better turkey than a live one?". A wrestling match immediately broke out between Naruto and his clones (who all made more clones. Naruto's clones have enough chakra to make more clones? How terrifying!) There was a full-on war between Naruto and himself, which eventually spilled out into the streets.
The Uchihas seem disturbingly used to this. One of the clones (somehow not involved with the conflict) brought out a turkey one of the locals helped him cook, and they tore it up and just started snacking on the turkey and donuts almost like popcorn while they watched the show.

A/N - Happy Thanksgiving guys! It's kind of late at night, but I was a little busy with family and stuff. But I had a random burst of inspiration at ten at night and threw this out as fast as I could
