Chapter 4

Hawks soars through the sky alone on his way to the designated meet up point thankful for another day to see Jean. This "split" has been so much easier than expected— and, from the feedback from her maybe we will make it through this.

Hawks lands, and, though he is a little early, notices it seems like fewer heores are there sure US ones there and he knew his team was just waking up but... He scans for Jean.

Nothing? But she said she'll be here.

Getting nervous, Hawks walks around the area trying to convince himself something is not wrong.

"Yeah, I guess there's been a huge falling out between Xavier and the commission back in Japan."

Hawks overhears someone saying. He discretely drops in close enough to eavesdrop on the conversation in hopes to learn more.

*KNOCK* *KNOCK*

"Come in." The President says behind her desk as the door opens two goons step inside the room shutting the door behind them.

"Madam, we have documents you requested." One of them says handing the folder over to her.

"Good, hopefully this works in our favor, we can't afford this backfiring or leaking to the press. You two are dismissed for now."

"Yes Madam President." The other says as they both now and leave the room.

Enjoy the time you have left with them Hawks. This truce is reaching its end.

*SWOOSH.* *THUMP*

Hawks strikes with feather swords as he takes down a member of the humanize crew. They just follow another lead finding a small group of them meeting close to a library. He pins the guy down as ten more was rounded up by Tokoyami and Sato.

"Any bombs?" Hawks asks snaps his head up. The heroes with him shake their heads.

"No, it's empty. Just these members." Replies a hero from the US. Sure most of the locals were in charge of evacuation as hawks and the others were to handle finding the bombs but..

"Okay. Let's book them and keep going then." Hawks hands the guy over to the officers as he starts to make way off the scene.

"Hawks, Sensei wait! Is something wrong you've been more.."

"Spacey and touchy"

Botb Tokoyami and Dark Shadow say running up to him. Hawks faced them, slight twitch of his wings. He hasn't seen any of the X-men at all today, rumor was the ones here went back to New York to help there.

"I'm peachy. Come on we need to keep moving, we need to clear this area before we move on to another." With a flap of his wings he takes off quickly.

"He seems distracted." Ojiro says walking to Tokoyami with Sato.

"You know him better than us. Just hope he can get it together." Sato says.

"We do indeed. Let's go Dark Shadow we don't want to lose him."

"Aye, Aye."

"We'll meet the others from class 1-B than." Ojiro says. Tokoyami nods as he takes off with Dark Shadow after Hawks. You can trust us Sensei. Don't you dare, push us away.

When Tokoyami's phone rings he answered it and his eyes widen as his stomach drops. Izuku's voice rang through the phone as he and Hawks flew over the city. He meets Hawks tried but alert eyes, few forming bruises lace the pro's face already.

"They're targeting the top heroes. Plan to set off and kill them!" Izuku says, awhile Shoto was replying the info to his dad and everyone else.

"What's going on?" Hawks asks his intern.

"We have the locations of the trigger bombs and their targets." Tokoyami replies. "And we running out of time."
