Around ten minutes earlier, Harmony was explaining the plan to get the navy to take them. "They'll take me back, and then I'll break you two out. Kasai and Kiwi can probably get to Alabasta with them too." She made a rather proud pose, and followed up with "There's no way it could get messed up either." Kasai stared at her for a second before stating, "You totally just jinxed it." She shook her head, "Nah, that's not a real thing."
Back to the present, Kiwi was yelling out, "GET DOWN!" A giant praying mantis came out from the trees swinging. It was about to get Dave, when Kiwi suddenly stretched his arm to grab its antenna. "D-don't hurt them!" The interference caused the mantis to miss, and it turned torwards the child. "Kiwi!" Kasai called out, and everyone was about to step in, but a cloaked figure stopped them, putting their hand out. It was like they popped up out of nowhere.
"Huh? Oh, hey Bug Lady. Where you been?" Kasai casually asked. The lady took the hood from her head, revealing a pixie cut of black hair. Her blue eyes had a gentle look to them. She walked to the mantis, and just rubbed its chest. "There there, they were just leaving." The mantis calmed down, and walked back into the forest. Adam, who totally wasn't just cowering in fear, dusted himself off. "Thanks miss. Do you also need a ride off this... place?" Her response was just a smile with one word, "Nope." She jumped into the trees, and vanished.
"You alright captain?" Dave genuinely questioned, but Adam just scoffed at him, and they continued to the small boat. "Pretty sure she lives here," Kasai reassured the marines as he got on. The boat started heading for the vessel, and Harmony was poking Kiwi's cheek, pushing it inward pretty far due to his stretchiness. She seemed actually intrigued, but Kiwi just looked annoyed. "This stupid Gum Gum ruined my dream, there's nothing cool about it." He pushed her hand away, looking down at the floor. Her face went from playful to remorse. "What happened?" He sighed, and leaned back, now looking to the sky. "I was really good with shocks, especially for a half-mink." She quickly chipped in, "Wait electricity?" He nodded, "Yea, mink's can produce zaps and stuff. I was gonna be a hero, saving people with my powers. But the thing with the fruit... it's not just useless, it made me rubber." Harmony immediately got it, the whole rubber not mixing with electricity, and looked up at the sky.
"Hold on, useless?" Harmony turned towards him, quickly making her point. "You saved that marine, and that was 'cuz you could do that. I don't think there's such a thing as a useless Devil Fruit." He looked up at her, tilting his head. "How many do you know about?" She started to sweat. "Uh... well with Gum Gum?" She paused. "This the second fruit I know about!" Kiwi facepalmed. Minx tried to join the conversation, but Adam bonked him in the head. "No talk pirate scum." Harmony looked down at her hands. "The Omni Omni Fruit... wait- There's no way?" She grabbed her fingers, and started pulling up. As if her hand was made of rubber, they stretched. "AHA! Omni, as in all." Her eyes began to sparkle. "This is perfect! With this I'll be the greatest pi-" she paused, remembering there were pirate haters among them. "Hero!" she finished. Kiwi stared out at the sea, lost in thought. The boat made it to the vessel, and Julio and Minx were taken down to the brig.
