Minx came back, looking rather ruffled up. "They ain't about charity, that's for sure." Kiwi sighed, but Kasai patted his head. "Still was a good idea," he reassured. "Plus I did actually get good info~" Minx continued to explain what he learned. "A tournament!? And the prize is 100,000 beli!?" Harmony sounded more excited about the tournament itself. "That'd have us set for a good bit. We'll have one last stop before the Grand Line, where we can stock up officially." Kasai stated, then added, "I wouldn't trust the food here." Julio had been looking around since they landed. "What is it?" Minx asked. "There's something off about this place. We should win this thing and leave as soon as possible."
Inside the tournament arena, a tower housing the champion overshadowed the whole island of Rumbleton. Within, the champion, a hulk of a man, was sadly spinning a stick between his fingers. "God this is so dumb... I'm never getting any form of challenge..." A bored bland man with a green haired woman patted his back. "there there, no need to be sad," bland man said. "Yea, I'm sure some cool strong guy will beat you up eventually!~" she said with no ill intent. "say, i could get boss to do it?" She scoffed at his idea. "Bob, Lapis doesn't need to be bothered to fight, she's gotta meet up with Genkai." Bob rubbed his head, "my bad traphi." he apologized dryly.
On the other side of Rumbleton, the previous restaurant ship was making a stop to restock lost produce. Genkai was also stopping here, since the cook job was a gig for money to watch the fights. A leopard mink nearby walked over to him. Her fur was a regular leopard color, but her hair and eyes were bright blue, her eyes a bit of a lighter shade. "Genkai I presume?" her tail was swaying. He nods, and smiles at her. "When do the fights start?" She leads him to the tournament arena, making a small bow as he entered.
Kiwi kicked a rock, clearly pouting about something. Harmony walked over and crouched down to him. "What's wrong?" He sighed, "If I could still do my zaps, I'd totally be able to fight..." Harmony chopped his forehead softly. "You know what? I'll prove to you that you'll be a hero still," she smiled brightly. Kiwi tilted his head, "Huh? How?" Her smile became a smirk. "I'mma win that tournament with just rubber~" Julio nearly spat out his water, Minx looked over at her slightly worried, and Kasai started laughing. "What!? I'm confident! Every fruit is useful," she defended. Minx patted her back, "Yea but, we need the money..." She patted his head. "Hey. I got this." Minx couldn't explain it, but a look in her eyes changed his outlook. "Alright. I believe in you captain." Kasai cleared his throat, "Yea, you got this."
After asking around, they found the arena, and Harmony got herself registered. "Do you have any Devil Fruit powers?" the man asked. Harmony nodded, and answered him. "I ate the Gum Gum." After learning its 'underwelming' attributes, she gets in no problem. The rest of the crew made their way to the crowd, and the tournament was nearing its start. It was a small group, since in the town the champion is well known as a beast, almost no one even wants to try fighting him. There were a total of 8 contestants; Harmony, some muscle man, a red haired girl, an armoured knight, a robed old man, two koala mink brothers, and the Champ himself. The crowd cried in absolutely excitement. "Yes! One V Ones!" "Been so long, it's been free for alls for too long!" The contestants are shuffled, and the first match was decided.
"Bunji versus Davion!" One of the koala's and the muscle man made their way onto the stage. Davion laughed at his opponent. "Ohh no, what're you gonna do? Sleep on me?" Bunji didn't even react, just got in a fight pose and stared him down. The bell dings. Davion put his hands up, and Bunji dashed in. The mink unloaded pretty meaty punches for the speed, but Davion seemed to be tanking it. He swung down, smashing through the ground as Bunji just avoids it. He reached up, and got a grip on Davion's neck from behind. A jolt of electricity shoots through the man, completely knocking him unconscious. "And Bunji is the winner!" Kiwi looked jealous, thinking about how that could've been him winning that fight.
