"Next match! Sir Drey versus Simon!" The knight, fully loaded in armour and a sword, and the old man with nothing but his cloak entered the ring. They shared no banter before the bell ringed, and Drey drew his sword, blunt side as to not kill, but was aiming for the knockout. Simon turned his body, easily avoiding the swing, and muttered something under his breath before blasting Drey away with an impressive fire blast. The armour tanked it well, but melted quite alot, deforming it heavily. He shedded the now useless shell, revealing a ripped physique, and he dashed in. The old man jumped up, throwing some dust that exploded into smoke. "What trickery is this!?" he called out, swinging blindly. Simon jumped in from behind him, mumbling up another fire attack, but is cut off by Drey putting his sword on his shoulder, the end of the blade smacking into his head. "Heh, predictable." He turned quickly and full-force kicked Simon in the gut, flinging him back a bit. Simon gasped, the air absolutely knocked out of him into orbit. "You magic users think you're so clever. Get some actual combat experience instead of reading all those books."
"Sir Drey is the winner!" The crowd cheers. Julio, who grabbed snacks, was munching loudly. "When's captain fighting? I wanna watch her bounce around~" he said after swallowing. Kasai tried not to, but laughed at that. "500 beli Harmony wins this," Minx dared Julio. He shook that hand, "Bet." The announcer came back out. "Next match! Jam versus the reigning champion, Grump!" The red haired girl, a mere fighting staff in her hands, and the huge hulking man entered the ring. She shook in fear, but a look of determination in her eyes kept her from running. "G-Grump! Where's my sister!?" she yelled out. He cuts her off from any more questions with one strike that launched her into the wall, cracking it. Blood coughs from her mouth as she falls to the floor. "And there it is! Champion Grump is the winner!" Minx started looking worried. 'That was powerful...' he thought. "Final match of round 1, Harmony versus Birrani!" Harmony cracked her knuckles, and the second brother stood. They entered the ring, and Birrani's hands started sparking in a strange way. Kiwi looked startled, "Wait! That's like what I had! That guy can probably shoot out actual bolts with just his hands!"
The bell dings, and he closes the distance going for a punch to the face. She reacts moving her head, and going for a counter strike. He responds by jumping back out of her range, but then she suddenly stretched up to grab him, pulling him back into the punch. She delivered it to his face, throwing him back. He wiped the blood from his face, looking absolutely pissed.
He started zapping his hands, and rushed up to her, using the same rapid strikes as his brother, but now using electricity. Harmony had her arms up to block what she could, and he goes through her center, breaking her guard and smashing her chin. Her body stretched up a bit from this, and using the opportunity, flung her head down into his. Birrani grabbed his head, crying out before giving Harmony a death glare.
His hands sparked like crazy, and he put his palms towards her. "Harmony!" Kiwi cried out. Two bolts of electricity zapped out from his hands. It blasted right into Harmony, but she just patted her body. "Holy shit! I'm still alive!" He rushed up, grabbing her face and full-send jolting her. "Ooooh yeah~ Rubber can't be shocked~" she goes for a gut punch but he jumps back. Suddenly, she stretched her arms at him, grabbing his shoulders. He looked at her in fear, and she smiled innocently before delivering the most devious knee to his down-unders. He fell, whimpering as Harmony is declared the winner.
