Everyone was on board, Nakama was Doggy Paddling, and they were right behind Genkai, but they were just a little faster. The darkness didn't help, but Minx was keeping his eyes on them. He could see in the dark, and was directing Julio on steering. Kasai and Harmony both shifted into their wyverns, Harmony's more-human fusion though was different now. Her arms, instead of the scaley claws, were wings. "Oh, cool, was just gonna say hop on but that works," Kasai said.
Traphi turned her head towards the Nakama coming behind them. "Genkai, they're coming." He patted her back. "Once we're past the Calm Belt, they can't get after us-" He's shut up by Harmony attempting to dive bomb the boat they were on, but Traphi turned, locked her eyes with Harmony, then her yellow eye turned red. Harmony froze in mid-air, unable to move at all. Traphi then turned back after a second, and Harmony could move again. They started slowing down, and she returned to Nakama. "We got it! They're slowing down!"
The waters were strangely calm, and Minx looked around. "Oh shit... Julio-" An absolutely massive sea beast rose from the calm waters, disturbing the surrounding. This set off a reaction where all the beasts started coming up, blocking Nakama's advance. Harmony jumped up with her wings, trying to knock the sea beast away. "Get out of the way! I gotta get Kiwi!" The beast didn't seem bothered, and just tried to eat her.
"Harmony, we should regroup-" Julio suggested, but she cut him off. "Keep going!" she demanded as she throws out a huge wave of wax, but the beast tanked it, crushing through it. "Harmony! We can't get-" Minx tried. "Keep going! I got this!" She tried punching it again. "Get out of the way!" It physically smacked her away onto the deck with its face. "Harmony! Julio get us out of here!" Kasai called out, but Harmony just got back up. She climbed up onto Nakama's head, staring down the sea beast. She saw Genkai just about to pass the horizon, and she felt her rage boil over "HEY!" It faced her, and went to chomp the ship.
"I SAID GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY!!"
The beast stopped in its tracks, staring directly into her eyes. Its face changed to one of fear, and it quickly dove down, the rest following it. Everyone stopped to stare at Harmony for a second before she turned to Julio, not even able to explain that herself. "Full speed ahead Julio!" He grabbed the wheel, returning Nakama to pursuit. "Yes Captain!" Everyone had a new look, going from hopelessness... to straight ready to throw down. Genkai was far enough away they couldn't notice Nakama following them, and believing there being no way past the belt, he believed it was a success. "The Boss will be here for the kid in a few hours. Take him to the exchange site. Job well done everyone." Once everyone went inside to celebrate, Nakama came over the horizon.
