Confessional - Jayshawn
Jayshawn, for a change, was speechless. "So, emo boy really just stabbed Noah. What the fuck?"
Confessional - Iko
Brushing aside his overcoat, Iko showed his torn vest. "Stephen got my belly just a little bit. There's just a little cut there, but Noah got much worse. Poor Noah, man... Wow."
Confessional - Cody
Cody sat still, a palm to his mouth as his eyes gave way to worse horror than his words could possibly conjure.
End of confessionals
Sometime after the challenge concluded, an ambulance appeared on the scene to take Noah away. The other eighteen contestants, Mercutio, and Tracy gathered outside by the road as paramedics hoisted Noah onto a stretcher, walking him towards the ambulance.
"Well, everyone," Mercutio started, then let out a sigh. "The Grads may have won this challenge, but Noah's injury is too severe for him to remain in the competition. He'll be leaving us now to go receive the help he needs."
Cody sped over to the stretcher as Noah was nearly ready to be lifted up into the back of the ambulance. Flashing red and blue lights lit him up, as well as the distressed cast behind him.
"Noah, dude, are you okay?"
He was conscious, though barely. Grunting, and paler than someone of his ethnicity should have been, he lifted up an arm and set a hand on Cody's shoulder, his eyes low-likely from sedative medicine.
"Figure this out," he grunted.
"W-w- h-h-how am I supposed-"
"Sorry, buddy," interrupted a paramedic, "but your friend needs to go now. Leave him be so he can get some help."
"Y-yeah, okay. I'll figure it out, Noah."
Up and away he went into the ambulance, then Cody slouched his way over to the others as the backdoors of the ambulance closed up. Athena raised a hand, interrupting the crowd from their stunned silence.
"Yes, Athena?" Mercutio prompted.
"What's going to happen to Stephen? Will he be eliminated as well?"
The emo stared at the grass below him, devoid of any reaction.
"He... I will be dealing with him, but he will not be eliminated. That would put the Dropouts at an advantage of five extra members."
"Chris didn't seem to mind when the Mutant Maggots had five members and the Toxic Rats had two."
"I am not Chris McLean," he snapped. "It is a pity that I must repeat this simple fact so many times. Are you understanding? I am not Chris McLean. Chris McLean is a hack, he is a soulless fiend and he belongs in the prison cell he currently rots in. All right?"
MK raised her hands and scoffed. "Fucking A, all right then, Mercuti. Let's not get your knickers more twisted than Iko's in that tripwire."
Fortunately, while awaiting the ambulance, Iko was able to put on another pair of pants.
The host stifled a harsher response. "Here is how things will play out going forward: Stephen will remain in the competition." The other six Grads on his team all took a step aside from him, keeping their distance. "Shortly after Noah was stabbed, he won the challenge for the Grads. Therefore, the Dropouts will be meeting for the diploma ceremony in one hour. However, there is an announcement I'd like to make." Mercutio turned his attention to one of the people behind the cameras, a familiar, silver-haired individual. "Brook. Step forward."
The nervous girl's wobbly legs barely managed to bring her forward. "Y-yes?" she murmured.
"With Noah's injury, we will be losing two contestants tonight. For that, you will be joining the competition, competing as one of the Dropouts from here on out."
"Uhm, oh, uhm, that's all right, thank you."
"Brook. I wasn't asking. That's an order."
"We should get her," Jayshawn interjected. "These mothafuckas have lost two challenges and they still get to have eleven members?"
"Shut up, Jayshawn," Mercutio snapped. Eerily, he slowly turned his gaze over to focus on Cody, and he added, "Yes, they do."
Cody felt his blood run cold, and he hoped he was only imagining himself wetting his pants.
"Brook, get to know your new teammates, and Dropouts, cast your votes soon. Dismissed."
Confessional - Jill
"I'm proud of Iko for such an innovative idea tonight. He nearly got us the win, but I guess since we have Brook now, it's not really such a loss. Poor Noah..."
Confessional - Athena
"I'm still just so shocked about Stephen. I mean... I mean, h-h-how could someone do something so... so awful? Noah, he... he must've... he..."
Without the ability to stop it, Athena began to weep right there at the confessional table.
End of confessionals
Later, the Dropouts walked through the halls of the academy, single file with their graduation gowns on. Near the back of the line, Matcha smiled at Brook.
"Hi, Brook. Welcome to the team."
"Th-thank you."
"I sure hope we both make it through this."
She nodded a gentle nod. Through a doorway they went, leading them backstage, and eventually onstage in the auditorium where Mercutio and Tracy were waiting for them in the audience.
"Welcome, Dropouts. Interesting seeing you up there, Brook. I guess now Tracy will be doing the escorting to the Bus of Shame, hmm? Also, Iko." He said his name with stern fierceness, frightening the chubby producer.
"Yes, Mercutio, sir?"
"While your plan to hijack the Bus of Shame was inventive, you and anyone else will never do it again. Understood?"
He nodded vigorously. "Understood, sir."
Confessional - Iko
"He is scary sometimes. Anyway, I tried my best, but couldn't pull off a win tonight. This could be it for me." He sighed. "I guess five episodes is a pretty good run. I'll just miss getting to see Jill every day."
End of confessional
"The following Dropouts may receive a diploma and live another day...

Brook. Look at that. First one safe. That bodes well, yes?"
He tossed her her diploma, and the fidgety girl couldn't quite manage to catch it. Standing beside her, Damien lowered down to hand it over to her.
"Thank you," she murmured too softly to be heard.
"Athena, you're also safe."
"Goody."

He let out a breath of relief. Sitting in the audience, Athena smiled wide and gave him an eccentric thumbs up. He reciprocated on his way offstage.
"Matcha."
This only left Kobe onstage with Iko and Lauren beside him.
"Kobe, and finally, the last Dropout safe..."
Iko felt himself sweating, pressing his hands to his bangs, sticking to his forehead as Lauren's never-ending grin fought to lessen. Her eye twitched, but she refused to let it go.

"Oh, thank goodness."
"Wonderful," Lauren chirped.
"Lauren, you have been eliminated. Have you any words to say before you ride the Bus of Shame back to whatever ungodly hole you crawled out of?"
"Are you trying to imply something with those words of yours?"
Mercutio hesitated. "Perhaps..."
"You'd do well as to not berate me, young man." Lauren closed in on him, stepping down the stage to stand, looming right over the Russian host. "I will unleash a wrath not unlike the swarm of a thousand paper cuts, drenched in lemon juice and cactus poppy."
Little by little, Lauren's eyes began to roll into the back of her head. Damien cringed into oblivion, while Queen bit her lip and shook her head.
"Nah, nah, that's- that's not even remotely okay," Tracy murmured.
"You will forever regret the day of your inception, for eventually, your hatching will have led your testicles right to the blade of my shiv. I will hang you from the ceiling by your nipples before decapitating you with a twice-folded piece of envelope paper soon after proceeding to jam your head down the toilet and say things about its mother." Her pupils now vacant, the circus doll-esque girl let the Dropouts dwell on that for a moment, until she eventually let her pupils return, giddily bouncing off the stage, skipping her way down the aisles. "Bye!"
Confessional - Lauren
"Perhaps I should have been more human-like. Yeah, then I might've made it further. To think trimming the webbing between my toes wasn't enough for these people! Hey, on the bright side, I've been on the show long enough that I bet most of my restraining orders have expired by now! Ooh, maybe now I can be in the same tri-provincial area as a schoolhouse? Good things are right around the corner for little old me!"
Confessional - Cody
"Okay, Mercutio was staring right at me when he said the Dropouts get to keep their eleven members. Was bringing Brook in on their team some kind of way to get at me? Was... Why did Stephen stab Noah? I mean, shouldn't he have stabbed Iko? If he was gonna stab anybody. What if he did it because- Oh, man..."
End of confessionals
Later into the night, the Dropouts settled themselves into the grungy loser-team garage's sleep arrangements, or lack thereof. Holden leaned against a cupboard, using an old pizza box as a blanket. Iko wandered around aimlessly with his soundboard and an audio interface with multiple cords in hand.
"Does anybody see an outlet?"
"Shut up and let me sleep," Queen grumbled, lying with her back on one of the wall-mounted counters.
"No hate, man, but don't you ever sleep, bro?" Caleb asked, lying with a dusty toolbox for a pillow. "
"As little as I can," he answered.
MK let out a wail and fell through a table, no longer able to support what little weight she had. As she moaned, the stolen phone in her pocket vibrated. "In a minute..."
Uncomfortably placed inside a dumpster, Damien's back cracked, and he let out a groan. "Need those damn dorms back..."
Meanwhile, Brook curled up in a ball outside the garage, leaned against the shingles of the garage's outer wall. She jolted at the sound of Athena approaching and saying her name.
"Brook. Hi there." Athena bent over to address her, her legs straight with her torso bent over.
"Hello," she murmured.
"You're so cute! Hi, I'm Athena! I just wanted to welcome you to our team. I'm really looking forward to spending time with you. Tomorrow, why don't we work together in whatever challenge Mercutio throws our way?"
"Okay."
Athena gave her one last big smile and patted her head. "I wish I had a cookie or something to give you. You're like a- you're like a little kitten or something." She giggled. "All right, goodnight, Brook. Nice meeting you!"
"Night."
Confessional - Athena
"Today may have been scary, but I'm so happy we've got a new team member!" Athena squealed with her hands balled. "I've-"
In an instant, Athena broke off, her eyes fixed on something about the camera recording her confessional. "I..." She stood up from the table, tilting the camera to better face her.
Strangely, her smiley-ness was gone, replaced with a stone-faced fixation.
She took a look at some of the logos on the camera. There was the "REC" symbol, as well as a few more logos, such as the battery charge level. Among them in the bottom left corner, small enough that Athena had to squint her orange eyes, she read tiny letters reading, "FEEDING".
Another camera feed showed a side-angle of Athena reading this word, the typical light in the eyes beneath her contacts replaced with an emotion unusual to the girl.
Her brows furrowed, her lips parted into a frown, and in a voice lower than her happy-go-lucky high tone, she muttered, "What the fuck is this shit?"
- Episode 6: Melpomene -
"Yo, yo, mothafuckin' yo," Jayshawn exclaimed, popping in from below the screen. "How the fuck we been e'rybody? Ay, don't answer that, seein' as you can't, 'cause you're watching from your TVs and shit. Aight, last time on Total Drama Million Dollar Academy! Some crazy shit happened, but we goin' get to that in a minute. We- Fish, I swear to mothafuckin' fuck, I will write yo' will with my dick in the neck wound of your decapitated head if you fuck with me right now, I'm not in the mood."
Fish chuckled. "You're such a baby, you know that?"
"Fuck off, Fish! I'm givin' the fuckin' 'last time on' segment! Piss off!"
Fish reached in for Jayshawn's ass, only for the guy to grapple him with Fish barely getting away, laughing the experience off as he departed.
"Fuck off, man! I know hitters in New York that will smoke yo' weird ass! I got connections, mothafucka! You reach for the cheeks one more time, you get turned into an example! Jesus fucking Christ," Jayshawn re-faced the center camera.
"Anyway, the teams had to do some bullshit with bayonets and reenact some obscure-ass Russian battle from centuries ago. I tell you what, dawg, some people just can't let the past be the past; that's what history teachers and my ex-girlfriend have in common. Noah came up with a whole-ass battle plan for my team, and Fish and Bowie went in to distract the Dropouts while Cody and Zee snagged the flag. Cody brought it to me and I ran like the fuckin' wind across the campus field. The Dropouts chased me, and I would've taken that shit back to my tent if it weren't for law-major-bitch shooting me with a rock and afro-dick tackling me. The Asian guy hijacked a bus somehow and took his pants off, so that's great.
"Oh, right, and Stephen stabbed Noah. That shit didn't make any fuckin' sense to me. Why did the mo'fucka stab his own teammate? Asiaface was right there! After that, Noah got eliminated on account of a hole in his belly, while Mercutio gave over that intern chick to the Dropouts. They voted off Scary Girl, which seems like the best course of action. Anyway, here my team is, two wins under our belt and still the fuckin' Dropouts have eleven members to our seven. You could call that six, considering Stephen's worse dead weight than Stewart Little after I ran him over in my '98 Buick. It's some bullshit, but there's a lot more bullshit to come-probably-and you're not gonna wanna miss any of it, right here on Total... Drama... Million Dollar Academy!"
Early into the crack of dawn, Athena made her way out of the garage, slipping past Matcha and Jill's sleeping bodies on the floor. Once she was out onto campus, her pace was brisk and hurried. She made her way inside the academy building, reaching the library, where she headed to the confessional table.
She fiddled with the camera, opening up various slots, a frown on her face the whole way through the process. Whatever it was she looked for didn't seem to reveal itself to her, which grew frustration within her. She'd become so engrossed in what she was doing that the sound of footsteps and the soft closing of the library door didn't gain her attention immediately.
"Motherfucker," she muttered.
"Athena?"
She turned to see Caleb approaching. Instantly, she lit up and rushed to hug him.
"Hi, Caleb! You're up early."
"I could say the same about you. What were you just doing?"
Athena hesitated. "What do you mean?"
"I thought I saw you fiddling with the confession cam. Is everything all right?"
"Everything's fine! I'm not even sure what you think you saw, but I am completely fine. In fact, I'm even more fine now that you're here," she added as she gave him another hug. "Have I told you about how much I appreciated you rescuing me from Fish last night? That really meant a lot to me."
"Ah, it was nothing," he replied. "It's just, I see that you're a wholesome soul, and Fish was out of line. Didn't matter if there was a challenge at hand, you don't deserve to be treated that way."
Athena pulled away, but stayed standing close, looking up to meet his shimmery eyes, an innocent, beaming smile on her face. "R-really?"
"That's right. You know, at first... nah, maybe I shouldn't say that."
"No, no, go ahead," Athena urged. "I like it when you tell me things."
He smiled. "Well, Athena, I've gotta admit something. I really like you. You're sweet and not like anyone else here. I know you're not always sure about yourself. At least, that's what I've gathered, but I wanna be there for you."
Standing up on her toes, Athena kissed him. His eyes widened with surprise, then he closed them, accepting her gesture. She pulled away with red cheeks, and stammered, "Uhm, wow, I-I'm sorry, I don't know if I should've-"
"No, it's okay. That's okay. You should've."
Less embarrassed, she smiled up at him, taking his much larger hands in her own. "Oh, Caleb. I like you, too. S-say, would you mind looking out for me again in today's challenge? I'm... What happened to Noah, it's... it's just made me feel like I'm going haywire. I might need a little boost. Do you think you could do that?"
With satisfaction and relaxation in his dark eyes, Caleb nodded. "Of course I can."
"You're the best!" she peeped, hugging him a third time.
Spying from afar, peeking her beanie'd head out from the doorway, MK grinned and stepped out into the hall. "So, that's where Caleb went." The klepto pulled out the stolen phone and browsed her collection of confessionals as she walked away. "Seems like there's all kinds of budding romance around here. I might just vomit."
Turning a corner, MK bumped into Cody, who squared up, then relaxed once he realized he was in no immediate danger.
"Oh, MK, sorry."
"Watch it, short stuff."
"Well, my 'stuff' isn't quite as short as you are."
"Do women everywhere a favor, and refrain from mentioning 'your stuff'."
"What's that in your hand?" Cody asked.
MK snatched Matcha's phone away in a flash despite Cody not actually reaching for it. "None of your damn business! Go back to the Best Buy that you're probably gonna get hired at after you lose the competition, geek."
The scrawny Grad watched her leave for a moment, then murmured, "Jeez, I'm really gonna have to remember that line."
"Psst!"
At first, Cody wondered if it was MK who had said that, but she was on her way down a hall, leaving him be. He peered around, but no one else was around him. Scratching his head, he jolted when he heard a, "Hey. You. C'mere."
He glanced around even more thoroughly. He was surrounded by lockers, with the morning dawn shooting rays of light into the academy through a big window to the right of Cody. "Uh..." He recognized the voice to belong to a girl, but beyond that, was lost.
"Codester, in here. C'mon."
Finally the geek's eyes came across a door between two long rows of lockers that he'd initially not given any attention to. The door read "JANITOR'S CLOSET", and he suddenly felt himself growing excited.
"Londyn? Could that be you?"
"Come on, get in here already. I'm really wet."
A thumping in Cody's heart and a tingly feeling overtook him. "Say less!" He jaunted his way over to the door, opening it up with swagger, only to find that it was not Londyn waiting inside, but instead recently eliminated contestant Izzy.
"Oh, that's right; I'm awake," Cody murmured.
In a cramped space between brooms, chemical bottles, mop buckets and more cleaning supplies, Izzy was standing in a little mop bucket filling station, drenched from head to toe in soapy water for some reason. Cody shut his eyes and averted his face as the redhead shook like a dog, just as vigorously.
"Nice, all over me."
"How ya doin', buddy?" she asked, then reached over to shake his hand with as much force as she'd shaken herself. Cody let out a low drone sound, the sort of sound you make when you're going over bumps and making sound to hear the difference in your voice. "Say, you ever drink enough clorox to forget who you are? I almost thought my name was Sam Pecker!"
Only then did Cody put two and two together. "Izzy, what are you doing here? Have you been in the academy this whole time?"
"Almost the whole time. I escaped the Bus of Shame and snuck back in here after I got eliminated." She nodded and smiled. "Uh huh. I had to make sure that the demon girl from the other team got eliminated. Yeah. So, I was gonna give it three episodes, and if they still didn't get rid of her, I was devising a plan to build a nuclear fission core that I would offer her to eat. Then, all her skin would fall off. Yeah."
"Uhm, epic stuff there, but Scary Girl got eliminated already, like you just said. Why the whole janitorial shower?" Cody countered.
"Well, my sis Noah got stabbed! I'm thinking my new thing is being a superhero. Yeah. I oversaw the demon lady getting oof'd outta here, and now I've got even more superhero work to do."
Cody felt his stomach sink at the recent memory of his friend being stabbed. "Yeah, that's right. It was Stephen that did it. People are saying he tried to get Iko and missed. Between you and me though, I don't know if it really was an accident."
"Mmm, right, yeah. He's shady. Shady like the tallest tree, salty like a peanut, and smooth like the cocoa butter from the cocoa plant."
"P-partially. Izzy, do you wanna help me figure out if Mercutio is, you know, a weirdo? He tried to choke me."
"Mmm, for fun?"
"No, not for fun," he retorted. "There was nothing fun about it!"
"Calm your titties, sweet thang. I'll be keeping a lookout, and together, we can solve this mystery. K?"
"Yeah, let's- let's do it. Except, how are we gonna do it?"
The crazy redhead didn't decide to give him an answer, instead crawling up over cleaning supplies and bins and the like to reach the ceiling. She pushed on one of the ceiling tiles, moving it aside as she struggled her way up into the rafters.
"Whoop, little slippery this time," she remarked, and then she was gone, making a muffled noise as she scaled through the ceiling.
"Great," Cody uttered. "That's, uh, sort of unfinished business we had there, Izzy."
Confessional - Jill
"So, here we are, a couple days out from Athena kissing me, and she's acting like it didn't even happen... It just- I don't know. It's got me sort of uncomfortable around her..."
End of confessional
The shot shifted to a view of the girls' dorm from the outside, the sound of Londyn sighing happily playing over, then we shifted to see her inside, lying on the floor pretending to make snow angels on the rug.
Confessional - Londyn
"The whole girls' dorm is mine. Literally, that's kind of a flex. I kinda miss Alanna, not really Izzy, and I know I was worried about getting lots of attention, but... I'm used to it! And I've got so much space. Ooh! Maybe I do a photoshoot in the dorm to make a little money while I'm still in the competish? I'd be the first Total Drama contestant in history to make money while competing! Then I could order a pizza. Ooh, fuck, a pizza would slap."
End of confessional
Londyn stopped doing rug angels for a moment, wondering, "But who could I ask to do the photoshoot for me?"
After a pause, the shot shifted to Londyn charging out of the dorm, squealing, "Fish! Fish! Fish, where are you?"
Noticing it as he exited the boys' dorm with Zee, Bowie facepalmed. "I literally can't with this girl."
"Dude, I love a gal who's passionate about seafood, yo," Zee commented, slinging his hands through the air in a gangsta-esque fashion. "A little bit of trout, maybe some tilapia? That shiiiiiii-" he imitated a record scratch noise "-goes hard, dawg. Ooh, I gotta go ask Tracy if he's cooking any shrimp this morning."
Bowie glanced at Zee as he ran off, baffled.
Confessional - Bowie
"How does one person lack that much brain power?"
End of confessional
Meanwhile, Londyn managed to catch Jayshawn and Fish on the other side of the academy in the middle of an argument.
"Bro, it's a fuckin' ass; it's pretty well within the realm of a personal space bubble, aight? You don't touch that shit, mothafucka."
"Hi, Fish!" Londyn peeped. "You wanna come do something with me?"
"Little old me, huh? What do you want, cutie?"
Blushing, she replied, "Come to the girls' dorm and I'll show you? Question mark?"
Fish smirked a suggestive smirk. "Sure."
The facially tatted girl raced off, with Fish casting an amorous grin back at Jayshawn on his way out. Jayshawn grumbled to himself as he leaped up to cling on a tree branch, doing pull ups.
"Ain't nobody should want a bitch with a face like an art major's doodle book."
Inside the girls' dorm now, Fish wandered in with uncertainty as Londyn made her way over to her bed. Beside it was a ring light and a camera with a long lens attached.
"You sure I'm able to be in here, sweet thing?"
"No other girls on the team but me, right? It's no problem."
"Aight, so what am I doing?"
Londyn took her shoes off and climbed up onto her bed, positioned up on her calves to explain. "So, I'm gonna get the camera and the lighting set to my liking, and you're gonna help me take some pictures for my OnlyFans. It'll be so easy, don't even worry about it."
"Ah, sounds sexy. All right, well, you better get your clothes off, then, huh?"
She hesitated. "Well, actually, the shots I had in mind were for general subscribers. Besides, I mostly like to leave a trail of breadcrumbs, you know? Tease my audience. Psychological testing has been done to confirm that if you show-"
"Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm hearing a lot of blah blah blah, baby. I think you would garner a lot more attention if you were at least topless."
"Well... All right." Convinced, Londyn stripped off her shirt. "Let me just get set up no-"
"Why'd you stop?"
"Hmm?" she peeped.
"What, people pay you for your body and you're not even letting them see your body?"
Londyn glanced down at herself. She still wore the Nike pro shorts she'd worn in the dodgeball challenge, and now the majority of her chest and stomach were showing, except for what the bra covered. She didn't respond at first.
"Come on, Londyn, just take the bra off. You've gotta be good to your customers, right?"
She shrugged. "I mean, okay, I guess you're right. I'm just gonna get everything set-"
"How about you take the bra off first? Just get ahead of schedule, you know?"
"I... okay."
Fish watched with amusement as Londyn wrapped her arms behind her back to undo the bra, taking it off and setting it beside her.
"Damn. Those are nice. Those are really nice. Maybe some of the best I've ever seen. They're not fake, are they? They're almost too good to be true. Oh, shit, Londyn, I'm really sorry about this, but I've gotta run."
"Got to- huh?" she whimpered.
"Yeah, I've got some shit going on that I forgot about," he replied, heading out of the dorm. "That's my bad, honestly. I'll make it up to you. See you."
After he shut the door to the dorm, Londyn slouched on the bed, topless and crestfallen.
Confessional - Fish
"I came up with the best idea. Each day that we're in the competition together, I give Londyn a little attention, and get her to show me a little more of herself each time. So long as I say eventually we're gonna do the photoshoot, she'll keep coming back. I mean, she's obsessed with me. It'll be easy. Now, you may wonder, why not just do the photoshoot and get her completely naked? Because, dear viewer, that isn't how you control women. You need to give them a tiny little bit, then snatch it away from them. This is a kill two birds situation; I get to see titties, and I get a valuable alliance. Mic drop."
