Chapter 10. Fight to survive, path to the System found
At the Rebel base many of its members are trying to repair most of the damage that they had received from the last battle against the corporations, NEST and the controller system, most of them are wondering if they will be attacked again or survive that the enemy will comeback to finish the job, at the same time Raven looks around the base trying to get a grasp of the situation.
Raven: … the damage looks really serious and they hit us really hard… I wonder how much longer we can hold out if they come back?
Naruto: hey! Raven!
Raven: huh? Naruto? What do you need?
Naruto: well Big Boss wants to talk with you, me and Sasuke about something extremely important.
Raven: something extremely important?... well let's see what it is he wants to talk about.
Naruto nodded and the two heads off to see Big Boss so they can know what he wants them to do as they head to the command room they see Sasuke by the door waiting for them, they don't exchange words because they are here for the same thing, then the three goes inside to see Big Boss who was waiting for them.
Big Boss: so you all here now.
Raven, Naruto, Sasuke: …
Big Boss: here's the mission for you three.
Big Boss shows them the hologram map of Layered and then he pointed to the middle part of Layered, then he tell them there mission.
Big Boss: you three will be heading directly to the middle section of Layered which hides a hidden secret passageway, you three are to wipe out much of the enemy forces there once you are done I'll contact you later, now go and get yourselves ready.
The three nods and goes to the hanger and gets in there machines then they head to the mission area.
(Scene change)
(Armored Core V – Strive)
After a few minutes the three arrived at the mission area and where the hidden path that leads to the controller system is located, but they are confronted by an army of the corporations forces that spotted them.
Corporation soldier: enemies spotted all units open fire don't let them get near!
The battle soon began as the corporations tries to stop them with everything they have, the three avoid the attacks and began fighting against the army of corporations showing no mercy to any of them as each of them are taken down by the three.
Corporations soldier: keep fighting we can't let them through!
Corporations soldier 2: if they find the path to the System we are all going to die!
The corporations forces fight as hard as they can but all of it is in vain as they are all taken down, then three comes in to try to stop them.
A.C pilot: you three think you can stop the controller? What a foolish idea!
A.C pilot 2: there's no place for you in this world, die Rebels!
A.C pilot 3: time to face judgment rebels!
The three then began fighting against NEST that try to stop them from reaching the controller, but things go from bad to worse as another 9Ball arrived on to the scene as the battle becomes more deadly than ever before, the three avoid the attacks as much as possible but still took some serious damage from there enemies but they continue to fight, Sasuke uses his speed to limit the damage then he got close to his opponent and cuts through them, then Naruto takes down his opponent using his speed and guns them down, finally Raven cuts his opponent down and blasts them with the grenade launcher, now 9Ball was the last one left but they know they'll be more but they decided to at least destroy this one.
Raven: let's take him down.
Naruto: lets!
Sasuke: say good night.
The three attack together causing major serious damage to 9Ball as it gets torn apart by the trio as sparks electricity is shown all across its body, Sasuke approach the red A.C and cuts it down as the battle has ended with no more enemies coming for them anymore.
(End of music)
Raven looks around for the passage that leads to the controller system and he finds it but before they enter they see a carrier with ammo and repair equipment stored in it along with a message from Big Boss.
Big Boss: listen up you three, the corporations are going to send there army to us, so we are going to be decoys to keep them busy for a while but even they are starting to get hit by the controller as well, this is your last mission, destroy the controller system once and for all, good luck to you three.
After the message ended the three knew there's no going back now, they get there repaired along with getting back some ammo from the last big battle they went through, once they were done the trio approach the passage.
Raven: you guys ready?
Naruto: of course I am!
Sasuke: let's go end this once and for all.
The three then enters the passage and heads to destroy the controller system and end the danger, meanwhile while the controller itself prepares all of its defenses for the dangerous elements that are coming for it at the same time an unknown machine is seen in the darkness getting ready as well for the coming battle.

Then everything fades to black.
