Angel: I am uploading early again because I just reached 750 favorites, thank you tremendously you guys, I love you all. And we reached over 300 reviews!

I've gotten about a dozen artists asking me for commissions, but I'm sorry, I can't spare much money. I said yes to only one person because I could afford it, but that was because that price I was comfortable with. Most of my finances are going towards school so if I say yes to every single person, I'll be broke. Maybe until I find a way to pace out my expenses since I'm on unemployment. And job hunting hasn't worked out that well for me. I really appreciate the offers, but right now is not a good time. I'm so sorry.

Did Izuka get her Quirk from All for One? Interesting question because it was actually in an earlier draft. But I cut it out because once I saw it in the draft, I didn't like how it was written. So no, she's not like Lady Nagant. Anything else is speculation, not actual fact. And I have not gotten to season 7 as of now so I can't speak on what will happen to her Quirk. I'm only in the first half of season 5.

It's been two days since Hosu...and five days since Class 1-A started our internships. Because my injuries from Stain aren't fully healed yet, I'm stuck at the hospital.

Izuku sat in bed while his sister was putting on her hero costume, with the curtain shielding her from anyone else. She still had the bandages, but she could still walk fine. And her hand was fully healed too. He looked at a video that was reporting what happened in Hosu.

As for me, Best Jeanist gave me two days to recover until I had to go back to Genius Office. It was relatively a good distance away from the hospital, so I couldn't stay long. He did say there was a hospital nearby for me if I need it. She adjusted the headband so that it fit comfortably with the bandages.

Everyone on the news is obsessed with the Hero Killer. The story being reported is that seven pro heroes and four high school students stumbled upon him. Then Endeavor rushed in and took care of the situation all by himself. Endeavor had even given a press conference regarding the confrontation. And he had to fudge the truth a little so that he wouldn't mention Shoto or his classmates. Of course, that's just the official cover from the police department. The chief was true to his word. Me, Ida, Izuka, and Todoroki were never named in connection to the Hero Killer. He looked towards the two empty beds; they had already left to go back to their internships. Our injuries were explained as being caused by accidents that happened during our internships.

Although admittedly, Uraraka-Chan and Bakugo-San knew a few things from us. I doubt that they would tell anyone what really happened. I'm grateful I even still have an internship at all given the circumstances.

The day Ida got his exam results and realized one of his arms was seriously damaged...he ended up going back home to his parents' house, so his mom could take care of him.

Tenya looked up and nodded towards his classmates. The twins nodded back at him, Izuka giving him a small wave.

Todoroki's injuries weren't all that bad.

Shoto stood up while wearing his school uniform. "I'm returning to my internship."

"Back to your dad's agency?" Izuku wondered as Izuka stared at the boy.

"I still wanna learn everything I can from him," He then walked off past the two. "Besides...they're saying he defeated the Hero Killer, even though it was actually his son who helped out. I wanna see if there's any shame on his face."

"Todoroki-San," Izuka spoke up and he turned to her, seeing her gentle smile. "Good luck with Endeavor...we'll see you back in class, okay?"

"Yeah. And let me know if you need any help with Best Jeanist."

"I will. He's picking me up in the morning...and probably only just him," She gave him a sheepish smile.

Izuku himself looked a bit sheepish at the memory. Just when I think you can't get any more intense, your dad comes up. He then smiled while looking out the window. Huh. I wonder how everyone else is doing.

Someone knocked on the door and Izuku turned to it. "Come in."

The nurse opened the door, looking around. "Izuka Midoriya?"

"T-that's me," Izuka stammered meekly while peeking from the curtain.

"Oh, there you are! Best Jeanist is here for you, he's waiting in the lobby."

"Thank you..." Izuka bowed her head and then stepped out, revealing herself in her hero clothes. Best Jeanist instructed her to wear them when she left. She then turned to her brother, running up to him. "I might not be able to contact you since I have to catch up, but let me know if you need anything, okay? I'm sorry I have to leave you here all alone."

"I'll be fine, you enjoy your time with Best Jeanist!" He gave a small smile and they shared a gentle hug. "Good luck with Kacchan..."

"Ahhh," She looked away a bit awkwardly at the reminder. In the two days she had been here, he hadn't contacted her or even shown up. Not that she was expecting him to... "Thanks..." She might as well listen to her missed messages on the way down. Izuku waved as she grabbed her bag and then ran out the door. She looked back and waved with a small smile as she closed the door.

I didn't have the heart to tell my sister that one of the Nomu was in the same color as our hair. I had already given her enough trouble...so I know that if I did explain, it would be all that she focused on.

Izuku looked out the window, frowning in worry. He knew that the only way the Nomu would be similar to Izuka was if...someone had her DNA. Although from what he could tell, it didn't have her Quirk, and no one reported that it did...so now the real question was why?

The girl then pulled out her phone, seeing countless voicemails from Best Jeanist. She winced as she scrolled down to the first one, and hit play, putting her phone to her ear.

"You need to get back here now, shorty, before you're dead!" Katsuki's voice screamed, to her shock. "I need to know what the hell is going on, now!"

"Bakugo-San...?" She murmured as she was expecting to hear Best Jeanist. So the fact that it was his voice told her that he insisted on calling her before their mentor could. And she couldn't help but wonder if all of them were like this. She put down her phone and then pressed play on a random message.

"Bakugo, we'll find her," Best Jeanist then actually spoke from the message. "Calm down and hand over the phone."

"Not until she answers! Shorty, if you don't call back, you'll earn an explosion to the face!"

"Threatening your class is the opposite of what you're supposed to learn!" Best Jeanist retorted back to him.

Izuka gave a small amused smile, trying not to cry a little at his concern, even if he would deny it later. Although maybe she should stay a few feet away from him once she saw him again... She then pressed on another message.

"Damn it, short stack, whatever you're doing, it better be for a good reason! You're lucky I don't know where you are, because you're being so damn annoying!"

She winced a bit at that last part. Maybe she'd hold off on the crying...

"Welcome back, Callista!" Best Jeanist's sidekicks greeted her once she had actually returned. Katsuki said nothing as he stared at her, noting her bandages. She smiled at the group and bowed her head, holding the case for her hero uniform.

"Thank you...I apologize for having you go through so much looking for me, and I appreciate your efforts."

"We'll be leaving soon, I'll give you ten minutes to prepare," Best Jeanist turned to her and she nodded with a smile. The trio then left for their first patrol, though Izuka was still wearing jeans like last time...

Ah. Right. I almost forgot about this... She was walking by Katsuki's right side, mainly so she wouldn't be seen from afar. Hiding behind her brother wasn't something she could do so easily with Katsuki, at least not without his permission.

There was silence as the three walked together, Katsuki glancing at her. "What the hell were you doing in Hosu with the Hero Killer?" He demanded and she closed her eyes at him not even being subtle about it. Although she was surprised that he put two and two together when she didn't say much.

"I can't tell you right now…we're in public. Can it please wait until later?"

He gritted his teeth at the girl and her quiet tone, thinking that she thought he wasn't capable of handling it. "You're gone for 2 days in the hospital, and you won't even tell me why?!"

"Enough, both of you," Best Jeanist spoke up before Izuka could say anything. "It's possible some villains were inspired by what happened in Hosu. That means they could be feeling bolder. This may just be a patrol, but keep your guard up."

"Yeah, yeah," Katsuki dismissed with a huff, shouldering Izuka as he walked past her. She squeezed her eyes shut, taking a deep breath. Now wasn't the time to be angry with him or to dwell on what happened. She had to miss a few days after all, she wanted to make the most out of it.

Best Jeanist then looked back up ahead. "Here's a question for the two of you. Patrols are mainly meant to deter villains from committing any crimes. But they also have a secondary purpose. What is it?"

Katsuki then gave a devilish grin. "If we see some bad guys, we can beat 'em up on the spot!"

"Incorrect..."

"Is it to help citizens who need it?" Izuka tilted her head curiously.

Before he could answer, a school girl pointed up ahead, standing with her friends. "Hey, it's Best Jeanist!"

"Thank you so much for keeping us safe!" Another one called out as they looked at the hero in awe. He waved without looking and they all squealed. Katsuki was baffled by this while Izuka scratched her cheek awkwardly.

"The answer is: to remind people who we are. Our presence gives the public a peace of mind." Katsuki gave a small growl as he turned away. Their mentor looked back at them. "This helps weave a tapestry of trust between the protectors and the protected."

"I think you just like getting recognized," Katsuki retorted while glancing away in annoyance.

"Bakugo-San..." Izuka sighed, a hand on her forehead.

"Hey!" A kid with his friends pointed up at them. "I've seen those guys on TV before!"

Katsuki looked up while gritting his teeth. It was bad enough that he felt like this was the wrong agency, had to intern with Izuka, and she went off on her own. And now, someone was reminding him of his unearned win from the Sports Festival. Another fan from the Sports Festival He thought bitterly while Best Jeanist handed Izuka some water. She took it with a grateful smile.

"Yeah, and an ooze villain caught him and he almost cried like a baby!" The kid pointed out while looking at his friends. His friends giggled as Katsuki seethed at this. "And then his girlfriend saved him with her Quirk, she also saved him during the Sports Festival and he swooned!"

Izuka flinched, her eyes turning wide as her face also looked flushed. "HUH?!" She yelped in alarm while firing off a shooting star, causing her water bottle to fly up into the air. Once the shooting star exploded, the water landed right over her body, Best Jeanist a little shocked himself at the assumption that the two interns were a couple. "His what?!" The girl finally properly said, though internally freaking out.

Katsuki's hair turned back to normal. "What did you say?!" He shouted while whipping around to the kids, causing them to whimper. Then they all started crying and Izuka sagged her shoulders at this.

"Have you really forgotten everything I've taught you?" Best Jeanist called out from behind. Katsuki glanced back with a small sigh. "Talk with them like a pro. The same goes for you, Callista."

"Yeah, fine," Katsuki said in defeat and she sighed slowly as she conceded as well—even though the kid was making assumptions about her too. He approached the boys as they were shaking, snot coming from their faces. The blond placed his hands on his hips. "Listen up! I wasn't helpless," He bent down to them and they recoiled back a little. "I was just coming up with ways to fight him. Sometimes a hero has to pretend he's been caught. You really think I would lose?" He gritted his teeth down at them. "You'll eat those words when I'm the new number one hero! And let's get one thing straight, she's not my girlfriend and she didn't save me from anything! You dumb kids'll never laugh at me again if you know what's good for you!"

This only made the situation worse as they screamed and cried. Best Jeanist sighed, a hand in front of his face. "He has too much pride. It would be one thing if he channeled all that passion toward becoming a hero...but at this rate, he could turn out quite poorly. So then...what do I do with him?" He watched as Izuka approached, gently pushing past Katsuki. She then bent down to the kids.

"Listen, I know that you watch TV, but...it's never okay to make assumptions about people you don't know well," She gestured to Katsuki next to her, the boy looking down at her in bewilderment. "That just means you're judging us without even asking us for our side of the story. So next time, try to be a little nicer to people you recognize, okay? Otherwise you'll end up upsetting them," She patted the boy in the middle on the head gently and he looked up at her with a blush. So did the other two boys in fact.

"Y-yes ma'am!" They all said in unison, to the shock of Best Jeanist and Katsuki.

"You should get going, you probably have things to do, right? Have fun!" She stood up with a smile, waving as they ran off in awe.

"Well done, Callista. You handled that calmly and managed to bring up their spirits," Best Jeanist stated and she turned around with a smile.

"Thank you!"

"Tch," Katsuki scoffed, turning away. "Whatever. I don't bother doing crap like that."

"You should follow her example," Best Jeanist told him and the boy whipped around in annoyance.

"Like hell I will!" He grunted; the only reason why it worked was because they were distracted by her appearance. And if he wasn't being watched, he probably would've beaten them up for being all googly-eyed towards her.

Izuka slowly shook her head at Katsuki's behavior. A shadow was watching her from behind a tree. I don't know how he thinks acting like this will get—The shadow's hand suddenly snatched hers and she glanced back wide-eyed. The stranger placed a hand over her mouth before she could scream, dragging her off into an alleyway as she struggled. He pulled her all the way backwards to the wall so that it was too dark for people passing by to see. Glancing up at him though, he seemed to be a human, but if he had a Quirk, she wouldn't know.

"Look at what we have here," He sneered while holding a knife up to her neck and her eyes widened. "A cute little girl," He gave a small grin and she flinched.

Is he serious right now? She glanced back in thought, her eyes narrowed. Trying to attack me in an area like this?

"Is that so? Then I guess that means you've never seen me do this!" She moved up her elbow to hit him in the jaw hard. He let out a groan as his head went upwards from the strong blow, causing her to get free. She turned around, backing away a couple of feet. "You're really gonna try and kidnap someone half your size?"

He gritted his teeth, wiping away the blood from his mouth. "You little brat! Come back here!" He lunged forward, ready to stab her if necessary. She ducked out of the way just in time by moving to the side.

"Ever see a Comet Punch?" She asked out of the blue, confusing him.

"A what?"

"Anyone who saw the Sports Festival knows it's for this," She recoiled her arm back while flames appeared, punching the man in the face. He hit the wall, a scorch mark on his cheek. She hadn't gotten used to using that ability against people, but right now, she had to get out of there before things got worse. And the only way to do that was to defeat this man.

If he had a Quirk, he would've used it on me to block that hit. First it was those low-level thugs at the USJ and now this? What do people like this think they can accomplish, especially with Bakugo-San and Mr. Best Jeanist nearby me?

The man growled and lunged again, but she held up two fingers. She flicked one to fire a shooting star, knocking him into the wall. Instead of hitting it, though, he suddenly was thrusted forward and her eyes widened. She had no time to react as he slashed at her arm, but not a deep cut. She grunted in pain, glancing back as he landed safely back on his feet. She then held her arm as she realized what just happened. So that's his power. If he's hit a second time, he can use it against me. Either that, or the first time, he didn't have time to react, damn it.

Best Jeanist looked around for Izuka as he noticed that she wasn't anywhere to be found. "Where is your classmate?" He asked and Katsuki glanced back, seeming to be uninterested.

"Huh? You mean that idiot? Oi, short stack, stop hiding behind m-" His eyes widened as he glanced over his shoulder to not see her. "Uh! Where'd she go?"

The man who was attacking Izuka suddenly was flying across the alleyway. He landed with a grunt in front of Katsuki and Best Jeanist, to their shock. The man also had some burn marks on him. An angry Izuka stormed up to him from the alleyway as she looked out of breath. She still had the cut, but other than that, she had fresh minor scrapes and scratches. Her hair was also a bit of a mess as well, some dirt on her left cheek.

"Alright, you scum bag," She snarled down at him, gritting her teeth. "You got five seconds to go turn yourself in for trying to kidnap me. 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, out!" She counted down quickly and once she said that last word, the man scrambled onto his feet and ran for the police station nearby in fear of her. She then huffed while dusting herself off. "Idiot."

Katsuki stared at her in shock as he felt like he couldn't speak. Not only did she fight him off hard by the looks of her appearance, but she did it without anyone even noticing. Ever since the Sports Festival, she's been changing...and now after Hosu, she's almost like me. Was it really that much of a difference?

"Are you saying that man attacked you?" Best Jeanist turned to her in a bit of surprise. "Are you alright?"

"Yes, and he did manage to cut me a little, but I handled it. He scared me at first just like in Hosu. But I was thinking about what he would've done if he had succeeded, so I had to make sure he couldn't reach outside again," Izuka explained while clutching at her injury.

"Great work, Callista," Best Jeanist placed a hand on her shoulder. "Although you do need to keep your physical appearance in mind. You're still recovering from Hosu, after all, you shouldn't be straining yourself."

"Yes sir," She rubbed the back of her neck awkwardly.

"...Damn it!" Katsuki gritted his teeth, pissed off. Not only because of how stronger she had been getting, but because he didn't even notice she was gone. Imagine if she had failed, and that the man did more than cut her. How am I supposed to know how to beat her if she keeps advancing like this? Or even know if she's doing something stupid?

He then flinched as he had an idea and then walked up to them. The blond held up his phone in front of her face. She blinked at him in confusion, about to ask what he was doing before he spoke up.

"Your number!" He demanded with a straight face.

"Huh…?" She murmured with wide eyes, Best Jeanist a little shocked as well. "W-What?"

"Use your goddamn ears! Put your number in my phone...s-so that I know when you're being an idiot!" He gritted his teeth, a small blush on his face.

"Um...okay?" Izuka took it slowly and stared at him. "This is kind of weird, not gonna lie...but if it'll put you at ease, then I'm sure there's no harm in it. And we are still working together, after all, so it makes sense-"

"Don't tell me you're turning into Deku with the muttering!" He interrupted in annoyance. "And I don't feel anything for you, you're an annoying short stack," He huffed while looking away. She gave a sheepish laugh, putting in her number.

"I guess I did ramble a bit there, huh? Anyway, here you go," She gave him his phone back, looking away as well. Does he have to be so rude sometimes? Well, at least I can appreciate the fact that he's not calling me something as bad as mousy.

"I'm sending you a text right now so that I know you'll get mine," He tapped at his screen furiously and Best Jeanist stared at the two. Izuka pulled out her phone silently.

Is he really concerned with how she's acting? Or is this because he has some sense of what she was doing in Hosu?

Gunhead was standing in front of Ochaco in his training room. "Let's start with how you'd fight against someone wielding a blade. Uravity, try attacking me," She glanced at a fake blade in her hand hesitantly and then turned to him.

"Are you sure?"

"There's no need to hold back," He assured the brunette.

"Alright. Here I come!" She then charged forward with a yell. She then swung down the fake blade.

"When someone's waving a knife around, your best bet's to keep your distance," He instructed as he jumped backwards from her attacks. She yelled again while moving her arm forward. "If they attack directly, plant one leg and use it to pivot and dodge," He planted his feet and then moved around to avoid the blade. "Then, grab their wrist and back at the same time," He grabbed her wrist gently, moving her around. "Now you can take 'em down!" He swung the girl down onto the floor, pinning her down. "See how I did that?" He didn't wait for an answer as she grunted, unable to move. "Twist your attacker's wrist to make them drop their knife," He did so and then kicked the weapon away. "Make sure you kick it away for your own safety. So, easy peazy, right?"

She then stood up, holding her wrist. She gave a nervous expression from how fast that was. His movements were so fluid. These Gunhead Martial Arts...are amazing! She glanced up at her mentor as he ran forward. He acts cute, but he's fierce!

He picked up the knife and then turned around, holding it up. "This time, how 'bout I hold the knife? We'll keep on repeating this until it's second nature! Sound good?"

"Yes, sir!" She replied back eagerly.

Uwabami smiled while waving to her fans. Some of them held out books while others took pictures. Itsuka and Momo just watched from behind. "Look over here!"

"Um..." Momo spoke up nervously, the pro hero turning around.

"If you work as diligently as me, maybe you can have a rabid fanbase, too. They just love getting to meet a famous pro."

Momo didn't seem so sure as she gave a slightly anxious look. "This is working diligently?"

"I think she's a little out of touch," Itsuka commented a little awkwardly.

Fourth Kind was cleaning up a small park. "Giving back to the community is a big part of bein' a hero," He was wearing a vest over his suit as well as a hat on his head. "So don't lemme see you drag your feet! Understand me?" Eijiro and Tetsutetsu were wearing the same vests and hats as him.

"Got it, Mr. Fourth Kind, sir," They replied without paying attention.

"I can't hear you!"

They both then lifted up their heads. "Got it, Mr. Fourth Kind, sir!" They shouted so that they were sure he could hear them.

Death Arms was pressing his back against a wall. Kyoka was listening in on the action behind the wall using her Quirk. "How many hostages?"

"From what I can hear, I think only two," She reported and he stepped forward.

"Kay. We're goin' in," She turned to the hero as his sidekick followed. "Earphone Jack, you lead the hostages to safety."

"Uh, right," Kyoka got onto her feet. "Not a problem!"

"Let's go!" Death Arms barged his way in, followed by his sidekick. "We're pro heroes! Do as we say!"

Kyoka ran in front of the doorway. "I'll escort you. Please, come with me!" She urged the hostages as they ran out.

"We're saved!"

"Thank you so much, Hero!"

She had a small smile on her face while following them.

Meanwhile, out on a dock, Tsuyu was sweeping on the Ori Mariner. She stood up and wiped her forehead with the back of her wrist. "Ribbit..."

"Froppy!" A female voice called out to her.

"Ribbit?" She turned around to who was speaking. A female sidekick was walking over to her.

"How's the work going?"

"I think I'm all done cleaning the deck," The girl reported while holding the broom. "What now, Sirius?"

Sirius giggled while holding up two canned drinks that she brought over for them. "It's kinda boring having to spend every day cleaning, isn't it?" She wondered as Tsuyu's internship was mostly spent doing that task. The two were sitting on the stairs together.

"Ehh, a little," She confessed to the sidekick.

"You know, I felt the same way when I did my internship," Sirius confessed with a small smile. "As a kid, I'd always imagined I knew what it meant to be a hero. It turns out, the reality is very different," She then looked up to the sky. "I always figured being a hero would be super glamorous, but then I discovered it was a lot of patrols and cleaning up," She placed a hand on her cheek in boredom. "I even had to do laundry, which meant washing the captain's underwear. I had to ask myself what I was even doing here."

"So you got tired of it?" Tsuyu asked her curiously.

"At first, yeah," Sirius turned to her with a smile. "But after becoming the captain's sidekick, I figured something out. I realized what was actually important when it came to being a hero."

"Oh, really? What was it? Will you tell me?" Tsuyu wondered, tilting her head a little.

Sirius turned to her with a beaming smile. "Oh, it'll be better if you find it out for yourself! Don'tcha think?"

"Ribbit," Tsuyu silently nodded at her.

"Hey, Froppy!" They turned to the new voice, seeing that it was the captain himself, as he was a humanoid seal. "Why are you just sittin' there? Shouldn't a frog be jumpin' to get her work done?" He barked at her. "And I thought I told you to keep on top of her, Sirius," He looked down at the sidekick in a stern way. "Don't you slack, either."

"I've finished cleaning the deck, Captain, sir," Tsuyu spoke up politely.

"And I'm totally supervising her properly," Sirius wrapped an arm around the girl.

"Ribbit," Tsuyu nodded; she didn't want Sirius to get in trouble.

"Oh, is that right?" The Captain then rubbed the back of his head. "Guess I jumped to conclusions. Sorry about that, ladies. I apologize—my bad," He then had a pleading look on his face. "Forgive me?" Both of them were very confused, though Sirius was mostly embarrassed. This kind of behavior wasn't new to her...the humanoid seal then laughed, giving Tsuyu a wink. "I'm too cute for words, aren't I, Froppy?"

"Yeah, she's dumbfounded," Sirius retorted back, a small blush on her face. "I know I always say this, but trying to look cute like that doesn't work. The rest of your physique is just too macho!" And she had a point since his gear didn't support cuteness—at least, to her. "Your face is pretty rugged, too."

"What did you say?!" He yelled back in protest. "When I make that sweet face for kids, they eat it up!"

"Of course!" She pointed at his face. "Because they're actually making fun of you. Trust me—there's nothing cute about it."

He whined while tilting his head, attempting once again to look cute. It wasn't working on Sirius, but it was working for Tsuyu. Adorable! She thought while blushing.

"Captain Selkie, sir!" One of his sidekicks called from the upper deck. "An urgent message has just come in from the Coast Guard!"

"I hear ya! Comin' now," He walked up the stairs.

"Froppy," Sirius turned to the girl. "Will you help me unfasten the ropes? Looks like we're sailing out."

Tsuyu perked up a little and followed her supervisor. "Ribbit."

Selkie took the phone and put it to his face. "Selkie here."

"Hey, you're good at this!" Sirius complimented to Tsuyu and they both pulled the ropes to bring up the railway.

"I see. Kay, we're on it," Selkie then hung up the phone.

"The ropes are pulled in!" Sirius reported to him.

"Hear that, sailors? Emergency departure!"

"Aye, aye, sir!" Everyone saluted to him, most of them running off.

"Full speed ahead!" The ship's engines started to turn. "Good work! The Oki Mariner is on the move!" Tsuyu watched as the ship took off. This was the first time that the boat had actually moved since she had been here. And she wondered what exactly they were doing.

Izuka was looking out the window to the city, sketching the sight so she could paint later after the internship. So much time has passed already with these internships. Probably because I was gone for two days that it felt faster for me She gave a sheepish smile to herself. Still, I can't believe all that's happened, especially Bakugo-San wanting my number. She glanced down at the message he sent earlier.

'Oi, short stack, it's Katsuki. You better reply to this or I'll explode you.'

She let out a small laugh at it to herself, since she knew that he wouldn't do it. But it was still a bit amusing nevertheless.

"Hey."

She blinked and glanced behind her to see Katsuki in the doorway. "Hi Bakugo-San," She stated politely as he stepped forward, sitting next to her to look outside. It was an almost comfortable silence between them compared to before they even got to UA—well, not always, there was that time he interrogated her about Izuku's Quirk. She hoped that same feeling wouldn't come back again right now...

"So what really happened in Hosu?" He glanced at her intensely. She paused and let out a heavy sigh. This was not something she wasn't expecting...

"You know what happened. Endeavor stopped-"

"That's what they say, but that's not what you did. No way in hell would you get injured during this crappy internship. Now stop thinking I'm that stupid and out with it!" He snarled at the girl and she squeezed her eyes shut.

"Fine. Todoroki-San had texted me that Izuku was in trouble, and where it was happening."

"How'd he get your number?" He demanded to her angrily.

"He asked Mr. Endeavor to get it from Mr. All Might," She kept her eyes closed, knowing he'd keep asking if she didn't tell the truth. "He thought it was best that I knew what was really going on out there after my brother sent that text. He thought Izuku was in danger and he was right."

"That damn nerd should've just said something!" Katsuki scoffed as he looked away.

She sighed wearily and continued her story. "Anyway, I took off and you saw me fly away-"

"Which you haven't done before," He narrowed his eyes a little. "Where'd it come from?"

"I...I don't know," She sighed wearily, crossing her arms. "It just came out of me, I guess. My best guess was that I needed to get to them fast, and I acted on instinct." Izuka then looked out the window. It's not unlike how I rushed in with Izuku to save Bakugo-San.

"...So then what?" He asked a bit nonchalantly, hands in his pockets.

"Once I got there, there was a bunch of chaos that the pro heroes were handling. There...there were Nomu, but much different from before. More...unhinged, I guess. I managed to find Izuku, and he was there with Ida-San and Todoroki-San. The Hero Killer...he was in the middle of hurting another pro hero, Native. And Ida-San was paralyzed because of his Quirk," Izuka sighed a bit, moving away her pencil from her sketchbook. "He wanted revenge for his brother, which...I understand, but I don't agree that it was the best option. And so...we all fought against Stain. We managed to capture him, and we thought that was the end of it."

"You thought? A guy like him doesn't go down without a fight," Katsuki huffed at the thought.

"Yeah...but he ended up saving Izuku when one of the Nomu had grabbed him. And...then he was terrifying all of us with what he said. I'm sure you saw the video about him," She glanced up at him.

"I might've. Should've brought me, I could've stopped him faster than any of you losers."

She shook her head slowly at him and then paused. "Anyway...we went to the hospital, and the Chief of Police visited. He suggested we either let everyone know what happened and face the consequences. Or say that Endeavor captured Stain since he had shown up at some point..."

"...Because then people would whine about you guys stopping him," He guessed correctly and she nodded.

"And that's why I couldn't just stand around and do nothing. They were in danger, and I had to help. I know it'd be easy to brag that you think Izuku was too weak to stop him to his face, but please don't tell-"

"Why would I tell anyone? It's not like it helps me become number one," Katsuki interrupted with his arms crossed and she did a double take. "So don't ever go off on your own like that or else I can't beat a corpse!" He pointed at her in warning, which got her attention.

"Huh? Were you...worried that I'd be dead?" She blinked slowly while staring at him; his messages and current behavior seemed to indicate that at least. But she wasn't going to mention them since he'd get mad.

"N-No! Shut up," He turned away with a growl. "I didn't care."

"Uh-huh...well, I'll leave you alone, then," She stood up, gathering her things. "And...I'm sorry again for what happened."

"Would you stop that?" Katsuki glared at her a bit. "What's done is done."

"Uhh, okay," She murmured in a bit of confusion and then left. The blond watched her and then scoffed to himself.

I have other things to focus on than her. Even though it pissed me off what she did... He was more bothered that she didn't bother to contact anyone for hours, because she was dealing with a dangerous person.

The Oki Mariner continued to sail. "So, what are we dealing with?" Sirius wondered to Selkie.

"The Coast Guard got a tip that there were stowaways on the trade ship, Nysan, but things may not be what they seem," Selkie informed his crew. "Officials inspected the ship, but they didn't find any stowaways hiding on the vessel. Upon further investigation, though, they discovered that important cargo from the ship's freight list was missing. I'm sure you all know what that means," He then winked at Tsuyu. "What do you think, Froppy?"

She tapped her chin in thought. "...It's likely that before the Coast Guard arrived, the stowaways moved the cargo to another ship somewhere close by and fled the scene of the crime. In fact, it's possible that the stowaways had plants on the ship."

He gave a hum of thought from her assessment and then gushed like he did before. "Correct!"

So embarrassing... Sirius and the rest of the crew thought to themselves.

Adorable! Once again, only Tsuyu thought he was cute.

"It's our job to find these criminals," Selkie turned serious again. "Based on the information we have, they probably escaped on a small boat. We will deliver them to the Coast Guard!" He then tapped a few keys on the radar in front of him. "Considering the Nysan's position, this is the general location that would make the most sense as an escape route. Authorities and other sea rescue heroes are also searching for them," The map zeroed in on one area specifically. "We'll be focusing on this area. Take note." He then looked out the window to see the sun setting. "The sun will set soon. That means you'll be searching for the bot via radar. I'll take to the ocean and look for them myself. That's all! Got it? Let me hear ya, sailors!"

"Aye ate, sir/Ribbit!" All of them saluted to him.

Selkie then jumped off the boat in his gear, his flippers shifting as he swam at a fast speed.

Sea Rescue Hero, Selkie! His Quirk: Spotted Seal! He can do pretty much anything a spotted seal can. That includes making a sonar-like sound and using its echo to determine the position of his opponent. He's also very strong!

Selkie continued making the clicking noise with his mouth, but didn't sense anything. They aren't anywhere around here. Guess I'll have to widen my search!

As he continued swimming, the Oki Mariner took their designated route. Sirius and Tsuyu were out on the top deck, keeping an eye out. "As expected, I can't see anything in the darkness," The girl commented while using her binoculars, glancing over her shoulder. "And we haven't seen anything on the radar yet, either."

"Never fear," Sirius told Tsuyu, who turned around in confusion. "Don't forget; the captain's looking for them too!"

"Incoming message from the Coast Guard!" One of the crew members reported from inside the boat. "A fishing boat thought to belong to the stowaways has shaken off a hero agency patrol boat. It was last seen headed toward the area that we're in charge of searching!"

Tsuyu gave a slightly worried sound while turning to Sirius. Something then rose out of the water, and it was revealed to be Selkie. He spun around as he landed. "Captain!"

"I've confirmed the location of the missing fishing boat we've been looking for," Selkie reported to the whole crew. "This is our chance! Turn off the lights and get close without letting them know where we are!" Sirius gave a wink towards Tsuyu to not worry.

"Aye aye, sir/Ribbit!"

Soon, a boat was indeed in sight of them. "Captain. We found the boat," The one driving told him as they looked out the window. "I don't think they've spotted us."

"Good. I want you to block their course with the Oki Mariner, then board their vessel while setting off a flair," He informed one of the sailors.

"Aye aye, sir!"

"What should I do?" Tsuyu wondered curiously as she wanted to help in some way. She was here for her internship, after all.

"You stay here," Selkie glanced down at her.

"Ribbit," Tsuyu blinked in shock; she thought she could help at least a little...she would have to face this kind of situation in the future, after all.

"Sirius, you're with her."

"Yes, sir!" She responded without hesitation.

"But how can I learn if I don't get any experience?" Tsuyu questioned in a bit of protest as Selkie opened the door. He then turned to her while pointing a finger.

"Just be quiet and do as I say, intern. Let's go."

"Aye aye, sir!" Two sailors followed him out and Tsuyu stared with a small frown.

"Ribbit..." She murmured sadly as Sirius put her hand down. She glanced at the girl, noticing her disappointment immediately.

"You wanna go with them, Froppy, I know. I get it," She placed a hand on the girl's shoulder. "But you know something? Thing is, even though we're only up against some stowaways, this could still be dangerous. So we have to follow the captain's orders. We'll support them together!"

"...Ribbit," Tsuyu nodded, though was still a bit hesitant.

"Captain, we've impeded their intended course as ordered," One of them stated into the speaker.

"Alright. Then you can leave the rest to me." A light then shined on the stowaway ship. "This is a pro hero. Stop your ship!" He ordered the villains inside, to their shock. "We're here on behalf of the Coast Guard. We will now inspect your vessel!"

Selkie kept an eye on the crew, who didn't speak at all. They just glared at him, and one of the captain's sailors approached. "Captain! I looked for the missing cargo, but I didn't find anything."

"Yeah, same here," The second one reported.

"See, what'd I tell ya?" The leader retorted to them in annoyance. "You'll find nothin' but humble fishermen aboard." There was suddenly a thud, alarming him as he looked at the storage unit. Selkie had his foot right over it.

"Then you can show us what's inside this too. Can't you?" He raised a challenging brow.

"It's just a bunch of fish down there."

"Then open the hatch and let's see," Selkie ordered the trio.

"What a pain!"

"This is pointless!"

They opened it up for the heroes to take a look. "It's too dark to see anything clearly."

"Can't you turn on the lights-" Suddenly all three were pushed inside and they yelped in alarm as they fell. The three crew members they interrogated were the ones responsible.

"I did exactly what you said. So please, there's no reason to kill me," The man pleaded, as he was the one actually following orders. The two bird-like men surrounded him from behind and he gave a terrified sound.

"Oh, we won't kill ya."

"Don't worry!" They then pushed him inside too, a splash being heard. The two villains then closed the hatch.

"I think we bought some time," The one in red smirked a little.

"It'll be easier for Boss Innsmouth to do what he needs to do now," The one in blue gave a pleased look, the two bumping fists.

"I think this means our job here is complete."

"See ya!" The two then jumped off the ship entirely, landing in the water.

"Captain!" The one driving called out for Selkie and the others. However, their communication was down. "Captain, please respond!" Tsuyu glanced over her shoulder from the window. "It's no use—we've lost contact. I'm going over there!"

"Hold on!" Sirius warned before he could leave, a hand to her ear.

Sirius! Her Quirk: Good Ear. She can hear high frequencies that normal people can't detect!

She then listened closely and heard a clicking sound. It was Selkie's echolocation, and he was using it to send a message to her. "The stowaways," She murmured while repeating it, glancing at the others. "Different boat!" Both of them flinched in alarm. "We're fine. Find them! Go, start the ship!"

"Right!" The sailor did as ordered, Tsuyu at a bit of a loss.

"Ribbit..."

"If that boat was a decoy, then the stowaways are probably heading toward the shore," Sirius explained to the two. "Hurry!"

"We're going full speed!"

"Shouldn't we rescue the Captain and the others?" Tsuyu couldn't help but wonder.

"The Captain is relying on us to follow his orders," Sirius reminded the girl. "If we believe in him, then we trust in his course of action," She then gave a small smile, as Tsuyu realized that this was part of being a hero: trusting your team. "Do you have faith, Froppy? In the captain and in us?"

She narrowed her eyes in determination and answered with a small nod.

Sirius stared up ahead while on the dock, keeping her eyes focused. "Right there!" She looked at some big rocks in the distance. "Hiding in the shadow of those rocks!"

"Damn it," The sailor driving muttered from behind the glass. "This won't be easy."

"Cut the engines and approach their blindspot," Sirius told the sailor behind them.

"Yes, ma'am!"

Sirius then turned around to the girl with a small smirk. "Whaddaya say—you in this with us?"

"Ribbit!" She answered with a nod.

"There's someone keepin' watch," The sailor noted as someone from the back was standing guard.

"Froppy. Can you bring the guard over to us?" Sirius instructed the green-haired girl.

"Leave it to me!" She then grabbed the guard with her tongue, alarming her.

"What's happening?!" She yelped as she was sent flying above their heads. "No, no, no!" She landed in the sailor's arms. "You guys, we're-" Sirius covered her mouth before she could speak further.

"If you answer our questions, then we won't have to get rough with you," Sirius warned the guard.

They left her tied up on the rocks. "Ready."

"Do it," Sirius responded and Tsuyu used her tongue to lower all three of them onto the boat safely. "There's only one other person on this cruiser. He's hiding out in the main cabin," She informed after using her ears.

"I can take care of him," The sailor stepped forward, only for a black substance to hit him in the face. "Ah! My eyes!"

"Watch out!" Sirus warned, only for a tentacle from up ahead to knock the sailor into a rock. He groaned as he couldn't move. "Froppy!" Tsuyu yelped as Sirius pushed her out of the way, only to be caught instead.

"Sirius!" Tsuyu called out in concern for her. Suddenly a bunch of tentacles emerged from up ahead, laughter being heard.

"I've got you now," A voice spoke up, Sirius gritting her teeth in realization.

"A villain!"

The villain was a large humanoid octopus. "And here I thought I'd gotten away with it. But you idiots just won't give up, now will you?"

"Ribbit," Tsuyu narrowed her eyes; it was up to her now to save them both.

"Huh?" The villain then noticed her. "How sad. A girl and some kid are all that's left to stop me?" Sirius dug into her back, pulling out something. She then let out a yell as she tricked to attack, but the villain saw this and knocked right out of her hand. She gritted her teeth and then grunted as his hold on her got tighter. Tsuyu was about to move. "Uh-uh, not so fast. I'll give her back just as soon as the Coast Guard calls off their search. But first, you're gonna help me unload the cargo, got it?"

Static suddenly came in. "Sorry." He looked up in confusion, Sirius giving a nervous look as it was coming from her ear. "Our transmission was blocked, and we're still stuck on the fishing boat. The captain made it out. How are things on your end? Tell me your status. Please respond!" He pulled out the communication device that was a retractable fin from Sirius.

"So this is actually a radio, huh?" He eyed it curiously, looking towards Tsuyu with narrowed eyes. "Here you go, kid. If you value this woman's life, then repeat after me. Unfortunately, we weren't able to track down the stowaways."

She flinched in alarm, knowing that she couldn't let Sirius die. "Froppy! Don't do-" The villain covered her mouth with another limb, and she muffled.

"Sirius!" Tsuyu cried out in worry.

"Hurry up, now!" The villain urged and she glanced behind her. The sailor was still unconscious, so he wouldn't be able to help either unfortunately. He noticed the girl's hesitation. "Oh, I see. You don't care what happens to your friend here. Come on, get to it." Tsuyu frowned a bit towards Sirius. "Well?"

" I realized what was actually important when it came to being a hero. The captain is relying on us to follow his orders. If we believe in him, then we trust in his course of action. Do you have faith, Froppy?"

She then lowered her head as she understood what Sirius was trying to teach her this whole time. "...I get it now." The villain stared at her in confusion, Sirius whimpering a little. Tsuyu then pressed the button to speak. "The stowaways are at the double rocks!"

Sirius gave her a relieved look. "Thank you, Tsu," She then grunted as the villain tossed her away.

"You stupid little brat!" The villain swung down his arm and she jumped over it. She slid down the rocks, jumping away as he attacked again. "I'll kill you!" She landed on a tree branch, which he destroyed seconds later. "Stop jumping around and stay still, dammit!" Sirius opened up an eye as Tsuyu flung her tongue around Sirius' waist. He then used this opportunity to grab her tongue. "Oh, yes! I've got you!" He then dragged her across the rock, and she landed, groaning weakly. He loomed over her, gripping her tongue so that she couldn't use it. "This is the end, Froggy." He cackled as Sirius gritted her teeth, looking over her shoulder. "You're just a helpless child," He reached out a hand towards her. "But since you came here uninvited, I'll have to teach both of you a lesson!"

"Ribbit..." She muttered weakly just as something jumped out of the water. The villain looked back and was suddenly knocked away from Tsuyu, getting dragged upwards. Two of his sidekicks then fell towards the water.

"Boss!" They both cried out to him.

"My brothers!" He watched them land, gasping at the sight nearby.

"Ribbit," Tsuyu gave a relieved smile as it was revealed to be Selkie. "Captain!"

"Sorry for being late," He gave a small grin. "Leave the rest to me!" He suddenly got ink thrown in his face.

"Think again!" The villain lunged forward to attack, Selkie jumping over his arm. He then clicked his teeth, kicking down the villain's head.

"Even if I can't see..." The villain gasped as Selkie landed on the rocks. "I know where you are," He then lunged forward. "You can't hide, villain!"

He stepped back, recoiling back his arms. "You bastard!" He flung his tentacles forward, Selkie blocking every shot. Sirius sat up and lunged forward.

"Captain!" She grabbed the villain by the leg, pulling him back.

"It's over!" Selkie came flying down with his foot outstretched, kicking the villain in the face. He groaned as he landed in the water, creating a huge splash.

"The captain's amazing!" Tsuyu looked up ahead in awe.

"Froppy!"

"Ribbit," She turned to Sirius and jumped, landing in front of the sidekick.

"Are you alright? Did he hurt you?" Sirius asked in concern.

"I'm okay. But what about you?"

She gave a small smile in return. "Well, thanks to you, I'm still here."

Selkie then popped his head out of the water. "You two did a great job here. Thanks to you, we caught the stowaways," The villains were currently laying on shore, unconscious. The sailor groaned as the ink was off, holding his head as it felt like it was splitting.

"Captain," Sirius smiled at him and he gushed again.

"Thanks so much!"

"...You really are hopeless," Sirius slowly fell to the ground in embarrassment.

"...Sirius, I'm really glad I had the chance to come to this internship," Tsuyu spoke up, getting Sirius' attention. "I think I get it now. What's important when it comes to being a hero. And it'll definitely help me become a pro!"

Sirius gave a small smile in return, resting her head on her arms. "Well, that's nice."

The next morning, the villains were being hauled off by the Coast Guard. "Arrest all the stowaways. We were able to recover all the illegal drugs they were trying to bring in. It was a big haul. By the way," The Coast Guard then turned to Tsuyu. "You didn't tell me that you got a new sidekick, Selkie."

"Ribbit," Tsuyu turned around in confusion.

"She's a UA student," Selkie informed the Coast Guard. "Here for an internship."

"Well, you don't say," The Coast Guard blinked at her in surprise. "We put you through something scary today, huh? I'm sorry."

"Hey, now," Selkie spoke up in protest. "Don't treat her like a kid. Froppy may not have her license yet, but she's an excellent hero. I'd stake my name on that!" Sirius hummed and eagerly nodded in agreement with him.

"Well then, I guess I can look forward to working with you again," The Coast Guard approached the girl. "Hope to see you soon, Froppy," He held out his hand and she took it. She blushed from the praise, giving a small smile. She was glad that she got to grow within her internship.
