Aziza, Sam, Dean and Castiel arrived at the Cabin a little past midnight and while Sam and Castiel took Dean inside, she ventured to the waterfall. Eben and Panos were guarding Zur and it looked like he made himself into a prison around her Box housing two Archangels. She walked over to it and the rock barrier separated for her hands to pick it up, now feeling a warmth coming from the Box. She then zapped herself into her bedroom and placed the Box on her dresser so that each and every morning, it'd be one of the first things she'd see. She had no temptation to even peek inside to observe what the brothers were doing because they were no longer part of her life, so she would no longer be part of theirs unless and until something made her. She gave them enough barren space inside the Box to create as they pleased and possibly make boundaries if they decided they didn't want to interact with each other. She wasn't going to force them to play happy family if they clearly didn't want to, but if they wanted to slaughter each other, she guessed that the Box would become cold to the touch and maybe then, she'd look inside to see what remained.
With a tired sigh, she rubbed her hand over her empty stomach before remembering that Dean needed tending to. She went to his room and found the older Winchester brother snoring in his bed like a hibernating bear, one of his hands interlocked with Castiel's as the Angel kneeled beside the bed. Sam was closer to the door and smiled when she entered, grabbing her hand when she stood next to him.
"How do you feel, Sam?" She asked, curious about him mentally and spiritually. She was unsure of what his mind and body went through while under Lucifer's control, but to her, he looked like her sweet Sam and their bond was strongly glowing, so she hoped he was okay as she thought. "Did Lucifer hurt you?"
"No…not at all." He admitted. "He just talked to me and he told me each and everything I could ever want to hear and I fell for it. I fell for a fake family in my head because I thought Lucifer would give Dean the heaven he deserves."
"Don't beat yourself up. He's the Master of Seduction for a reason. Honestly, I think I'd have accepted his deal too, knowing what the world's like…" She frowned as she remembered the world was dying and it was due to Lucifer's setting free of the Four Horsemen. "I thought we were gonna be able to take a break, but we've still got four big problems to deal with."
"The Horsemen?" Castiel asked and Aziza nodded. "Dean and I handled them before we came to the cemetery. Their rings are the key to Lucifer's cage and we had a plan to open it and lock him in there after we expelled him from Sam. I will deliver them to Heaven's Gate as soon as Dean wakes up. He's healing well."
"Everyone had a really good plan for stopping this." Sam commented.
"Mine was definitely spontaneous." Aziza confessed with a smile. "I'm just glad everyone's home."
SPN~*SPN~*SPN
Four weeks passed without any disturbance from the Box and Team Free Will went back to their Hunting parties, but Aziza decided to stay at home to keep an eye on the Box. She was available to efficiently provide lore information on any monster the boys came across and Cas would sometimes stay behind with her. It wasn't until Sam and Dean went on a Vampire hunt and Dean got dragged into the nest were they all made aware of Sam's superhuman strength as he went hand-to-hand with three of the five while Castiel handled the other two with his Angel Blade. It was amazing and a bit terrifying for Dean to watch his brother literally tear his way through the group of Vampires as easily as he did, but they all knew that it had to be due to Aziza's bond.
"Aziza, you've been throwing up for two weeks." Gabriel chastised from the sink as the blonde was puking for the third time that morning. She had to tie her hair back because she kept running back to the bathroom and after the third time, she made a camp in the restroom because it seemed her vomiting was nonstop.
When Castiel went to deliver the Horseman's Rings to Heaven's Gate, he found that he was being summoned to enter and did so. He was then lifted off his feet and into the clouds in a hug as Gabriel greeted him. Kali had been the one to burn Needham Asylum to the ground when she caught wind of Crowley torturing her lover. Against his protesting, she dragged him to Heaven's Gate at a playground and demanded the Angels tend to Gabriel or incur her wrath as well, prepared to go up against Heaven's masses for Gabriel.
By that time, Michael was busy occupying Adam's body, Raphael was nowhere to be found on Earth or Heaven and Dean had already killed Zachariah, so Heaven was without leadership until Commander Gabriel was coherent. Kali commanded the Angels to tend to Gabriel and she informed them of the Horsemen suddenly going missing as well, wondering if Michael was responsible. It took just a few days of being in Heaven's care, then Gabriel was able to walk on his own and his Vessel felt like it got a tune-up. He then informed the raven-winged Angel of everything that happened from the time he went missing up until Kali brought him back home. When he was done, he then put effort into managing Heaven and getting things back on track after the chaos of Michael and Lucifer.
Cas was the one to inform Heaven of how the battle ended and that Michael and Lucifer were now trapped together, but unable to ever be freed on their own. Heaven and the Earth were saved from Armageddon and the Angels began singing in praise. That same day, Gabe came back to the cabin with Castiel and he was reunited with the cutest blonde in the world.
Aziza groaned as she flushed the toilet again and put the lid down to sit, wiping a bit of purple residue from her mouth; it was the same color as her and Sam's bond. "You can't eat, you can't sleep, your back's aching and you're throwing up purple gunk. What the hell is wrong with you?"
"I don't…know, Gabriel." She stifled a burp. "I'm just sick. This is what happens when people get sick."
"You aren't just some random person and you've been sick for two weeks. That's not normal."
"So fix me!"
"We already tried that and it didn't work!" He rebutted, throwing his hands in the air as he was prepared to start dancing as if that would somehow cure her when his Grace obviously couldn't. "You've never even had a goddamn cold before and now, you're sick and I can't heal you! What the hell did you do to yourself?!"
There was a hard banging on the door then. "STOP YELLING AT HER!" Sam's voice boomed through the wooded barrier as it shook under his fist.
"Calm down, big boy! You might be superpowered now, but I'll still turn you into the giant Moose you are!" Gabe threatened and the banging stopped, but Aziza's groaning was persistent now. He watched as she all but tore her shirt off and began persistently scratching at her back like she had chickenpox; she was going deep enough to leave behind little red lines. "Aziza, quit it before your tear your spine out."
"I can't…itches soooo bad…" She whined before spotting the sink's cabinet doors and pulling them open in search of the loofah on a stick she thought would get to the spot she really needed.
While she was crouched over, Gabriel's brows came down in confusion as he saw little white tufts begin appearing in the small scars on her back. He dropped to his knees to gently take one between the tips of his fingers and slowly unfurled it…a feather.
One by one, Gabriel plucked each feather from the thousands of tiny scars on her back and they eventually all unfurled into three sets of wings the color of moonlight rimmed with sunshine, filling the entirety of the bathroom. Aziza released a huge sigh of relief and ruffled her feathers, standing and knocking over everything from the tub to the sink with her gigantic wings.
"For the love of Father, control those things, Aziza!" Gabe sputtered, lost somewhere in the mass of her feathers.
Unknowing of what else to do, Aziza zapped herself outside where her new wings could be displayed and she could get a grip on them. They were flapping and she couldn't tell them what to do or move them herself, but the center set wrapped around her torso and partially covered her face to only reveal her eyes and hair, the bottom pair curled around her legs and the topmost pair were keeping her airborne about six feet in the air. Inside the cabin, Sam was pacing back in forth in front of the bathroom door when Gabriel finally opened it; he was covered in white feathers. Before Sam could ask what happened to Aziza, he began seeing her in his mind, but only her head was visible; the rest of her body was covered in a white glow. He could see that she was in the backyard, so he led the others there and stood before his Soulmate in utter awe. He was sure she had no idea about having been equipped with wings and he certainly didn't read anything about her having grown wings at any point in her lives with Gabriel.
As gently as he could, Sam reached out to stroke the middle set of wings and they slowly opened, only to stretch out and engulf him in their softness; her feathers felt like clouds and pixie dust on his hands. He could see her fully now and she was smiling that gorgeous smile of hers that always made his heart skip a beat, but she had a rainbow aura around her that seemed new, so he attributed it to her newfound Light, maybe the color of it. Not long after Dean woke up, she told himself and his brother about her interaction with God at Stull Cemetery.
But when it began to move, Sam followed it and the rainbow settled on Aziza's stomach before coming together to create a spark, then two circles floating side by side; one was peacock-blue while the other was basil-green and they looked like little bubbles hovering there.
Gabriel gathered the boys and they all got to witness Aziza prancing and flying around the backyard, laughing and cheering and she glided through the air with Sam in her arms. She's given herself the ability to fly before, but she had no idea that she was capable of growing a pair of her own wings like the Angels. She and Sam were now hovering above the top of the waterfall and she was hugging him as they floated.
"Aziza…I think you're pregnant." He told her with surprised glee.
"What?"
"I can see Graces inside your stomach, little ones." He smiled. "And maybe that's why you've been throwing up. Maybe your wings have something to do with your first trimester or the babies maturing."
"I'm pregnant?" She asked again and Sam excitedly nodded. "What color are they?"
"One is green and one is blue."
"Why can't I see them?"
"You can't?" She shook her head and Sam thought for a moment before taking her hands into his and hoping to share his vision with her, but as she searched her flat stomach, she found no trace of the beautiful things Sam could see.
Gabriel called them down to the ground and Sama told him the news and the Archangel almost passed out at the information, but after hearing Sam's reasoning, it made sense. He was able to see the two Graces nestled inside Aziza's stomach, much to the blonde's annoyance that everyone could see her babies except herself, and found himself hugging Sam in congratulations on becoming a father.
