Angel: Another weirdly placed one like the OVA not too long ago, despite it being part of the season...I know this is a special episode, because it's a prologue for the first movie, but I still wanted to write it because it's some more character development. I personally don't mind this one, but it's also not within season 3's current storyline lol. Plus the movie was already out in Japan by the time the episode was aired, yet All Might had no trouble with his super form here even though in the first half of the season, he can't take that form anymore! Also, Melissa was talking to the girls about internships in the movie, therefore it has to take place after season 2, but whatever. So if you feel the same way I do, I won't mind anyone's distaste of this episode or if you felt like you could skip reading this one. I was gonna put it in season 2 right before the movie, but the beginning and end are part of the episode, so it's gonna have to go here! Maybe just treat most of it as a flashback episode.

All Might popped up in front of a television screen with a big grin on his face. He also gave a thumbs up. "Boo! I am here!" He announced and then jumped back, landing between the twins. The three were all wearing yellow shirts that said Plus Ultra on them. Part of Izuka's hair was also done like All Might's, just further apart and tied with the hair ribbons. "In a flashy yellow shirt that matches the Young Midoriyas! Ta-dah!" He showed off his shirt, to the puzzlement of the twins.

"All Might, this isn't where we're supposed to be!" Izuku protested up at him. "The two of us and the rest of Class 1-A are in the middle of our provisional hero licensing exam! It's important!"

"Especially since Mr. Gang Orca has showed up, also how is my hair changed?" Izuka looked up curiously at her hair, looking a little embarrassed. "It doesn't look all that great..."

"I know! And hey, I think it makes you cool," All Might looked towards Izuka in protest. "And I can't wait to find out what happens next!" He flexed his arm in excitement. "But, kids—just ignore that for now!" He waved a finger.

"Why?!" The twins both asked in utter confusion.

"Here's a Q. Do you know the best way to save people?" He asked the two, his eyes shining. "With love!"

"I don't understand," Izuku answered, still poorly confused.

"How does that save people? I don't think that's the best strategy, Mr. All Might," Izuka gave a sheepish smile.

"You gotta learn to let loose," He informed the two, and they could only stare. "You're working hard, but you should have fun when you can! So let's go beyond your existing story arcs!" The three held up their fists to the sky.

"Plus Ultra!" The three announced in unison, though the twins were still baffled by what was going on.

"Hope you enjoy this super special side episode. I take a daring new turn in Save the World with Love!" He then popped up next to Izuka, nudging her in a teasing way. "I think you speak for all of us on that, what with you and Young Bakugo!"

"What?!" Izuka blushed with embarrassment, hiding her face with a hand. "N-No, I don't know what you mean by that!"

"I think you do, considering your relationship with him takes a turn! Now, cue those opening credits! Go!" All Might announced and Izuka popped up over his left shoulder.

"Wait, can we talk about this?!" She called out in protest.

No, no they could not...

End of July Before Training Camp

It was another day of classes. Toshinori stepped into the teacher's lounge with a cough. "Morning," He greeted as he stepped into the room. Cementoss and Midnight were already inside.

"Perfect timing," Cementoss glanced towards the man.

"You're on TV right now," She smiled in amusement as she pointed up to the TV above their heads. "Some kind of retrospective."

"About me?" He questioned as he stepped up, looking at the broadcast as well.

"So, just how did All Might, the Symbol of Peace, become the number-one hero in the world?" The broadcast was showing one of All Might's fights in America. "Let's take a look back on his time studying abroad in America."

He glanced back with a smirk. "You're safe because I am here!"

"That takes me back," Toshinori commented as the two little girls from the family he saved smiled at him.

"How many decades?" Midnight asked him out of curiosity. He coughed awkwardly from the question, turning away. She looked towards him innocently. Real subtle way of sidestepping the question.

Cementoss gushed while looking towards the TV. "I know that costume. It's from your Young Age!"

Toshinori chuckled a little while looking up. "Yup."

"Well spotted," Midnight complimented with a small smile.

"Oh, well, thanks. I've been a fan of All Might's since I was just a little kid," Cementoss admitted while the younger All Might jumped into the sky.

"Well, aren't you an inspiration," Midnight teased the man a little.

He then turned into All Might, striking a pose. "No, not at all!"

"Could he look more smug?" Midnight questioned and then David Shield appeared on screen, smiling.

"All Might wasn't acting alone while abroad. The sidekick who supported him was none other than a young David Shield," The announcer continued as the others kept watching.

"Wait, does he mean that David Shield?" Midnight asked in disbelief as she didn't know until today. It wasn't something that was public knowledge.

"Birds of a feather, and all that," Cementoss gave a small nod as David Shield's news about winning a Nobel Quirk Prize was shown. "It's no surprise such elites found each other."

Toshinori gave a proud smile looking at the TV. Dave. It's been far too long, my friend.

Something suddenly popped up on his computer. "An email is here! An email is here!" He glanced back at it curiously.

"It's about time to begin the special class," Mr. Aizawa spoke up to the three of them.

"I have a few notes about my costume," Midnight spoke up to the teacher.

"Not to worry. Everything is ready," Cementoss reassured, seemingly ignoring his coworker.

"Let's teach those wannabe pros a thing or two about hero-ing," Toshinori ignored his email, which was from a Melissa Shield.

UA High holds special classes for those wanting to train during summer vacation. Today's the first one this break, and we have no idea what's in store.

The classes can be about any subject, which only us students seek out if we want to. We don't know anything about them unless we take them. Which of course, Izuku was all over.

"We'll be running this course multiple times with small groups from your class," Mr. Aizawa informed as only 7 people were in the classroom to their assigned seats. Those 7 were Tsuyu, Tenya, Ochaco, Shoto, Katsuki, and the twins. "Today it will be the seven of you. Just so you know, this will be harder than a regular class. Prepare yourselves."

They all looked at him attentively, though were still curious on what this class would throw at them. I wonder what they'll have us do. Tsuyu thought, though her face was still the same.

Izuku looked a little hesitant. Is this gonna be one of those times he threatens to expel us if we fail?

Izuka bit her lip nervously. Are we gonna have a surprise attack like Mr. All Might did that one time in the USJ?

"In this master class, you'll be tasked with saving innocent bystanders," Mr. Aizawa started to explain to the group. "And capturing a villain." Katsuki's eyes widened in surprise at this.

"We're not just studying!" Ochaco and Izuku exclaimed in happiness. "We're playing heroes!"

Mr. Aizawa gave them a glare that told them to be quiet. Izuka gave a small soft chuckle to herself towards her brother and her friend. The homeroom teacher glanced at her and she looked away, whistling innocently.

"This should be obvious. But villains commit many different types of crime. You seven will be dispatched to a scene and will need to determine what happened there. Whether or not a villain was actually at fault." Ochaco, Katsuki, and the twins looked the most excited by the instructions. "Whether or not you should fight. We will be judging your ability to assess the situation as well as how well you diffuse it. Welcome your instructors."

The door slammed open to reveal All Might from the back door. "I am here, sneaking through the back door!" He announced to all of them.

Izuku stood up happily, a big smile on his face. "All Might's teaching us?!"

"So we'll be in an actual situation we get to play out with Mr. All Might," Izuka smiled, her hands pressed together.

"You're looking extra muscly today!" Ochaco grinned up at the hero. "Yowza!"

All Might let out a joyous laugh. "He's not the only one today," Mr. Aizawa revealed as Cementoss, Midnight, and Present Mic were next to him as well. "Cementoss, Midnight, and Present Mic will be assisting. They'll be acting as special trainers. Let's get started. Head to Ground Beta and we'll begin."

Once they were in Ground Beta, all of them were in their hero costumes. They were hiding in an alleyway. Izuku peeked around the corner. "I see cardboard police cutouts," He informed as Izuka, Tsuyu, Ochaco, and Tenya took a look as well.

"This must be where the crime is taking place," Tenya guessed correctly, though Izuka felt like her back was gonna break being underneath Izuku's head.

"Why is the shortest one supporting all of you...?" She muttered in disbelief while looking up at them.

"I'll brief you on the situation," Mr. Aizawa spoke up, getting their attention. "There's been an attack in this jewelry store. The employees and customers have been taken hostage and are barricaded inside." There were indeed cardboard cutouts of police surrounding a building. "The number of villains and bystanders is unknown. As pro heroes, you have been asked by the police to intervene and resolve this incident to the best of your abilities."

"Excuse me, Mr. Aizawa!" Tenya raised a hand to ask a question as usual. "Our teachers—are they playing the roles of hostages or villains-"

"I won't be answering questions," The teacher interrupted with a deadpanned look. The whole point was for them to assume things from here on out, after all. If he answered anything, there wouldn't be a point to the special class. "Verify the situation yourself and act accordingly."

"Yes, sir!" They all answered him in unison, except for Katsuki.

"With that, let the capture training begin."

A buzzer blared to start the training. "Okay. What's our first move?" Tenya asked everyone as they took another look outside.

"That's easy. First we need to figure out how many villains and hostages there are inside," Izuku spoke up while Katsuki scratched the top of his head.

"Uraraka and short stack," All of them turned around to the blond in surprise. "You go."

"Us by ourselves?" Ochaco couldn't help but wonder, glancing at Izuka.

"If we all run in, the villains'll notice us. But you can float up to the top window and not get caught. And short stack can use one of her platforms to get up there. Plus she can use her Mercury Blast for defense if it comes to that."

The girl let out a small breath that he was even entrusting her with such a thing. I guess when it comes down to it, he really can acknowledge people's abilities...to be fair though, things have been good with him ever since the whole Shigaraki thing at the mall. "That's right!" Izuka blinked and then pumped her fists eagerly, smiling at Ochaco. "Okay, I'll protect you, Ochaco. Let's get up there and help the others assess the situation!"

"Yeah, you guys are right. We're on it! And I'll protect you too, Mido!" Ochaco pumped a fist with a smile.

"Isn't that dangerous?" Tsuyu looked up at the girls in concern.

"It is," Shoto spoke up, hands in his pockets. "But we can distract the villains." And with that, he called someone, his phone ringing.

"Who is this? The fuzz?" All Might spoke into the phone and Shoto put down his phone.

"All Might's pretending to be the criminal," He informed all of them, and then went back to the phone call. "I'm a pro hero. And you are?"

"Pro shmo. I'm not impressed," All Might mocked back at him.

"Tell us how many villains on your right hand," Izuku told the two girls. "And how many hostages on your left. Izuka can support you if you need the energy."

"Yeah. Kay," Ochaco nodded in agreement and Izuka gave a thumbs up.

"You can count on us!" Both of them turned around in determination.

"Release the innocents, and we'll consider your demands," Shoto tried to negotiate with All Might. Ochaco took a deep breath, holding her fingers together. Izuka summoned a star platform to jump onto. The two then started to fly off together towards the building.

"I'm surprised you're even trusting my sister and not yourself for defending Uraraka," Izuku blinked towards Katsuki.

"Her Quirk's not as good as mine, but it'll do a decent job," He replied in a casual tone.

"Are you actually putting faith in her abilities because you believe she's strong? Or because you like her?" Tsuyu blinked at the blond, who turned to her pissed off.

"You better shut up with that crap! I just don't wanna hear her whine if she doesn't do anything like she should be," He grumbled while looking away.

"I only have one demand," All Might stated as the others watched the girls. "I want the cops and the heroes to get the hell out of here." The two landed safely in front of a window, and could see inside of the jewelry store. They could also see All Might on the phone, and he hadn't noticed them yet thankfully. He was dressed as the villain with a mask over his face. "If you don't leave, I guarantee I'll slice up these hostages." The girls could see Cementoss, Midnight, and Present Mic all dressed up. They were also tied with rope and gagged.

"Very well," Shoto agreed as Izuka looked as carefully as she could. "But first, I need information on who you've got inside. Is anyone hurt?"

"Someone will be if you don't stop taking your sweet time! Hurry up and get lost, dammit!" He yelled into the phone. Ochaco looked to the others. She held up three fingers for hostages and one for the villain. Izuka nodded in confirmation to them.

"One villain, three hostages," Izuku murmured as they looked up.

"Nice, Uraraka and Mido!" Tenya whispered, even though they couldn't hear him. He did also signal to the both of them. "Stay there. Wait for us!"

Ochaco then pressed her fingertips together, but not to activate her Quirk. Izuku gasped and moved to hide behind the building. "Quick, hide!" Tenya and Tsuyu did as asked, and Izuku took a look inside the building for himself. "It's All Mi—I mean, the bad guy."

"He's checking to make sure that everyone's gone," Shoto pointed out while Katsuki growled. He tapped an impatient finger against his cheek.

"In that case, we need to stay hidden," Tsuyu suggested to the group. "We can't put those hostages in danger."

"How do we help them?" Tenya wondered to the four. "Think there could be a back way inside?"

Here's the first big decision they must make. Should they contact the villain again and attempt to persuade him? Mr. Aizawa watched the five closely from his spot. Or...

Katsuki let out a frustrated yell from all of the sitting around and talking. "This is stupid!" He got onto his feet.

Izuku gasped in alarm at him. "Kacchan?!"

"Bakugo, calm down!" Tenya attempted to ease him, but that wasn't going to work.

"You're planning to charge straight in?" Shoto asked his angry classmate in disbelief.

"Obviously," He deadpanned with a small glare. "I'll fire off a bunch of explosions and take down that villain. You guys can save the hostages or whatever, I don't care!" That damn short stack better not get caught in one of my explosions.

Izuku furrowed his eyebrows with a small frown. Tsuyu stepped up to them both. "You're being way too irresponsible!" She scolded the fiery blond boy.

"What are you talking about?" He growled while looking through the window, not even looking back at the others. "He's right there in the window! This is our chance!" He pointed his hand forward to fire, sending himself into the air.

"Of course," Mr. Aizawa murmured from Katsuki's reaction. "I knew it'd go like this." He knew Katsuki's behavior far too well at this point. His relationship with his classmates was part of the reason why Mr. Aizawa put him with the other six.

"We have to move now too!" Tenya urged as he took the lead, followed by the others.

"Yeah. Let's go!" Izuku replied as Mr. Aizawa continued to watch them.

"Unfortunately for you, this isn't a problem you can fight your way out of," He commented, which the others didn't hear.

Izuku gasped as he noticed something once they got closer to the building. "The villain's disappeared inside!"

"Damn it, I won't let you have those hostages!" Katsuki screamed as he held out his hand and created an explosion from outside. This broke open the window as a result, the other three bracing themselves.

"Oh no! Hurry!" Tenya urged since someone could've gotten hurt. Katsuki stood there in surprise as the others stepped in.

"Wait. Is that...?" Izuku couldn't even finish his sentence.

"Now you get it," Mr. Aizawa stated as he looked from outside. On the ground was a bloody knife... "This is the moment when the special class really begins." Also on the ground...was a dead-looking All Might.

"Today's training is not what you expected it to be," Mr. Aizawa said as the five students stared at the body in disbelief. "I'm interested to see how you deal with this development."

"The villain was...killed?" Izuku asked softly, although the hostages were still tied up.

Tsuyu slowly stepped up to All Might. She bent down to him and then used her hair to tickle his nose. He let out a small chuckle, coughing a little. "Okay, All Might's still alive. He's playing. But we're supposed to think he's dead."

Ochaco and Izuka swooped down from above, landing on both sides of Izuku. "Is it because of Bakugo's blast?" The brunette turned to him in concern.

"No way," Katsuki denied, narrowing his eyes at the two. "It wasn't even that strong. Weren't you two watching? You were supposed to be our eyes!"

"Yeah, but we couldn't see anything because of all the smoke," Ochaco defended and Katsuki turned away with a small growl.

"I thought all that training I gave you was supposed to mean you could do a simple task," He turned back to Izuka, who turned around to him in alarm. "Or did you not just give a damn after the practical, short stack?"

Is he serious right now? Ochaco is right, everything happened so fast that we couldn't do anything Izuka looked at him in disbelief, giving a small shrug. "I guess I suck," She replied sarcastically, both of them glaring at each other a little.

"That's not true, Mido," Shoto walked up, placing a hand on her shoulder. "You and Ochaco were a big help to us for information."

"Thank you, Todoroki," She gave a small relieved smile.

Katsuki growled at his rival making him look bad. "You damn bastard, I'll kill you...!" He seethed towards the two.

Shoto then turned towards the bloody knife, ignoring him. "The murder weapon is a knife covered in blood."

"The building was surrounded by police, so we know no one went in or out," Tenya pointed out to them. They all stared up ahead as they knew what he was insinuating. "That means whoever killed the villain...must still be inside!" Present Mic, Cementoss, and Midnight all looked at them wide-eyed.

"Hold on. Maybe...but it's too soon to know that for sure," Izuku spoke up hesitantly, looking towards the three. "We should listen to what they have to say first."

"He's right," Tsuyu agreed with the green-haired boy. "We need to know how events unfolded."

"It'll help us get more of an understanding of motive and opportunity," Izuka turned towards Tenya, who nodded in agreement.

Cementoss was playing as the employee. "I'm but a humble employee of this store. A villain suddenly appeared and threatened me. I handed over the jewels, and then he tied me up."

Midnight was playing an advertising agency worker. "I dropped by to pick up a few new pieces, and the villain was already here. He caught me while I was too surprised to resist him."

Present Mic was, unsurprisingly, a musician. "Yo, yo, my pros. What it do? I came to find a bomb-ass piece of frosting for my hottie GF. Then that villain laid me out flat. It was so not dope!" He struck a few poses as he was playing the dramatics a little too much...

"When the villain first arrived, was this man already in the store?" Shoto questioned the other two.

"Yes, he was browsing," Cementoss answered, glancing towards Present Mic awkwardly. "That beast knocked him unconscious, and he was asleep for quite a long time."

"And when you first came into the shop, ma'am, did you see both of these men?" Shoto then questioned Midnight.

"I didn't get a good look when I walked in," She glanced between the two. "But when he was tying me up...I noticed these two men had been in different parts of the store."

"Hm," Shoto rubbed his chin in thought. "So far their stories all seem to fit."

"Excuse me," Izuku spoke up, stepping forward a little. "We need to take a quick look through your wallets and bags."

Ochaco, Izuku, and Izuka took a look at the items themselves. "See anything of interest in there?" He asked the girls.

"She's got a bunch of credit cards and cash," Ochaco reported while looking up.

"Present Mic's is the same way," Izuku looked back at Present Mic's wallet full of cash. "They both had enough money on them to buy jewelry."

"Yeah."

"Hm? But wait," Izuka glanced towards the bag of jewels in confusion. "Why-"

"One of you killed this stupid villain," Katsuki stormed up to the three teachers, interrupting her. "Just come out and tell us, or else!"

"B-Bakugo, hold on," Izuka walked up to him, crossing her arms. "That's not how you interrogate someone. You'll never get answers that way. And besides, there's still more questions we need to answer."

"She's right. What's the motive?" Shoto pointed out and Katsuki whipped around to them.

"What?! The stolen jewelry, you moron! Plus, they're just bad guys!" He retorted back and the girl looked away in exasperation.

"To what end? If it was for safety to kill, sure. But wouldn't a hostage think about this first?" Izuka gestured to Midnight and Present Mic. "Villain or not, Quirk or not, it's still not something to risk a jail sentence for. And if he was going to be killed, why here of all places?"

"Even if that were the case, isn't it a little too reckless to kill the villain when you're locked in a store?" Tsuyu pointed out, a finger on her cheek. "You'd definitely be a suspect."

"Besides, the criminal dropped the jewelry," Shoto turned back towards Katsuki, who seethed at him. "Yet no one took the bag."

"If the theft wasn't the motive, then maybe..."

"Another conflict," Ochaco guessed, turning towards Izuku.

"Yeah," He looked up at her in thought. "If there were two villains in here, and during the attack, they argued about how to split up the loot, that could be the motive."

"If that's the case, then the hostages would have heard their conversations," Tsuyu turned towards the duo.

Izuka then flinched in realization. "And that means their stories don't match either if there is a second villain. They only mentioned one," She told her classmates and her brother.

"Nah, girl, I didn't hear anything like that," Present Mic denied immediately.

"Nor did I," Cementoss spoke up as he stepped to the side.

"Me neither," Midnight informed, though this only pissed off Katsuki more.

"Then you think the villain was working alone?" Shoto questioned the three of them.

"Yes," Cementoss replied a little awkwardly.

The back door opened and Tenya stepped back inside. "I've inspected every corner of the store. There's no back exit, and all the windows are sealed," He reported back to his classmates. "It's impossible that anyone escaped."

"Then, the person at fault has to be one of these three," Ochaco turned around to the teachers.

"It makes the most logical sense," Izuka glanced up at the girl and Izuku, crossing her arms. "The only way this could've been pulled off was if one of them managed to act like they're a hostage the whole time. That breaks their stories entirely if they carefully planned out each step."

"I didn't do it!" Midnight immediately protested to them.

"I'm innocent!" Cementoss gestured to himself.

"I'm not goin' down for this!" Present Mic cried out again a little too dramatically. "It wasn't me, yo!"

"They haven't been able to find definitive evidence of who the killer is yet," Mr. Aizawa mused from outside. "It's time for their second big choice."

"Wouldn't it be best to call the police?" Tsuyu suggested to the twins, Tenya, and Ochaco. "The investigators can get to the bottom of this case."

"Perhaps that would be wise, yes," Tenya agreed while Izuku was lost in thought.

"This is so frustrating," Ochaco spoke up to the three. "We know the culprit has to be one of these people!"

"Even if we call investigators or police, we need something more to go off of," Izuka hummed a little in thought.

Katsuki's hand started to spark. "Simple." Present Mic yelped from this tactic as Katsuki looked impatient and scary. "We'll just force them to start talking!"

"Bakugo," Shoto called out in a warning tone.

"Be a hero," Tenya looked on in disapproval.

"If you torture them, then the police will arrest you along with the perpetrator," Tsuyu warned him as well.

"I didn't say anything about torture!" He yelled as Izuka approached him in exasperation.

"It might as well be torture to them. There are other safer ways to make them talk," She gently put down his hand and he yanked it away a little forcibly.

"Yeah, yeah," He grunted at the girl and then noticed Izuku hadn't said anything. Meaning he was thinking of something, and it pissed him off. But if the practical exams were anything to go by, Izuku's plans hadn't strayed them before...he didn't want to ask, but he felt like there might be something he was missing. "...Hey, you damn nerd. You've got a new idea, haven't you?"

Izuku gasped in alarm at Katsuki calling him out. Izuka blinked up at him incredibly and then looked towards her brother with wide eyes. "Well. Something's bothering me here," He confessed to the both of them.

"What is it?" Shoto asked the green-haired boy.

"Something Izuka said earlier brings back a good point. Why did the villain barricade himself inside the store?" His sister gasped a little as she didn't even think about that too hard until now. "You know? Cause...if he wanted to, he could have just escaped with the goods earlier. So then, why did he stay?"

"He's right," Izuka rubbed her chin, pacing around a little. "Something else too. If he had the goods, he could've taken a step further to rob the hostages themselves. But he didn't do that. Any other villain would've escaped by now before any heroes showed up to try and get away with it."

"Timing wise," The twins looked up at Cementoss. "The authorities arrived just as I was putting the jewelry in a bag for him. He had no opportunity to flee or steal from the customers."

"Did you call the police?" Ochaco wondered to the teacher.

"I never had the chance," He shook his head in denial.

"Someone outside the store must've seen what was happening. They're the ones who called the police," Tenya eyed the three suspiciously.

"If that's the case, then it has to mean...Midnight, it was you!" Izuku stared at the woman.

She gasped in alarm at his assessment. "What? Me?"

"You were the only one who came into the jewelry store after the villain was already here," Izuku explained to the anxious woman.

"Don't be hasty, Midoriya," Tenya warned from behind.

"Don't you make us look like a buncha idiots," Katsuki growled towards the boy. "Why would somebody who called the police come inside to face the villain and allow themselves to be taken as a hostage?"

"Hear me out," Izuku implored for him to listen. Midnight frowned a little, which didn't go unnoticed. "I think she's the reason the villain barricaded himself in here to begin with. Midnight. You knew the man on the floor before this incident, didn't you?"

"A second villain doesn't make sense if there's only evidence of one...that is, unless one of the hostages was an accomplice. The villain didn't barricade himself before Ms. Midnight came in," Izuka held up a finger. "Think about it, she wouldn't have been able to get in if they were barricaded the whole time. That means the villain let her in on purpose because he was already familiar with her."

"And not just as an acquaintance—you knew he committed crimes," Izuku finished for his sister. "You saw him and knew he was going to rob the jewelry store, so you called the police the moment he went inside so they would stop him. And then, before they could arrive...you decided to go in yourself." In his head, it kind of played out like a soap opera. "He must've been shaken to see you. But he also understood your true intentions. Why you were there. Even so, the villain continued the robbery and tied you up like the others."

"Not because he was betraying you, but because he wanted to make it look like you were innocent," Izuka spoke up, crossing her arms. "You knew that calling the police would've been the only way to stop him for good. Even though it didn't work, you still risked rushing in for him despite how dangerous it was. And with the relationship you two share, it also explains why he didn't rob you because he wouldn't have been able to."

"While he was doing that, the police arrived, and he was forced to barricade himself in the store," Izuku finished for her.

"No!" Midnight protested at the two. "Why would I willingly put myself in danger like that?"

"Because you wanted him to change his life!" Izuku argued back, narrowing his eyes. She gasped sharply at him. "Didn't you?"

"No one would go to that length for anyone unless they really cared deep down," Izuka's eyes softened a little. She glanced out of the corner of her eye at All Might and then noticed something, her eyes going wide.

Midnight looked away, biting her lip. "No matter how many times you tried to convince him to step away from crime, he wouldn't. So you made sure that this time, he'd be forced to change his ways," Izuku theorized, earning a gasp from Ochaco.

"Wait, Deku, Mido. Even if things happened the way you two just said they did...why would she kill the villain?" She asked the both of them.

"All she wanted to do was get him arrested," Shoto pointed out to the duo.

"Yeah, that's right. She has no motive to kill him," Tenya spoke up in confusion.

"True. There's no motive," He gritted his teeth a little, alarming his friends. "That's why the murderer..." He then turned around to face his friends. Izuka placed her hands on her hips, glancing over her shoulder. "Isn't one of these three." Izuka nodded in agreement with him.

"What are you talking about?!" Tenya screeched at him in disbelief.

"Seriously, you guys, hold on!" Ochaco stepped in front of him, waving her hands.

"Could it have been..."

"Suicide," Shoto finished for Tsuyu gravely. "Right?"

"...Probably," Izuku turned around to the three teachers, narrowing his eyes a little.

"Look closer at his wound and at the hostages," Izuka implored the others and they did so. "It could support someone stabbing him in the stomach, but none of them have any defensive wounds or even blood on them. The villain would've struggled with them if he managed to see it coming. That proves it was self-inflicted."

"Once he figured out what Midnight's intentions must be, it's likely he still expected to escape as planned. But then we pro heroes showed up on the scene," Izuku informed the others, Ochaco's eyes saddening.

"He refused to be taken alive," Tenya rubbed his chin.

"Not quite," Izuku contradicted, causing the class rep to look up. "I think he was worried about something else. If he was caught by the police, his relationship with Midnight might have been exposed, putting her in all sorts of trouble. If that had happened, a dark shadow would've fallen over the rest of her life."

The teacher shed a few tears, looking away. "People wouldn't have been able to trust her again, and she could've lost her job too," Izuka clenched a fist in front of her heart. "Imagine having that kind of reputation for the rest of your life. And the villain didn't want that for her..."

Izuku frowned a little. "That's why this villain...silenced himself with his own weapon. Midnight didn't say anything because she realized what he was thinking when he took his own life, the sacrifice he was making so that she could live." Midnight continued to cry, covering her face while kneeling. Izuka looked a bit uncomfortable with how serious she was over her role, but decided to not comment. "Out of respect, she couldn't say anything."

"...You think Midnight and the villain were that in love?" Ochaco looked towards the twins as they closed their eyes.

"Mmhm," Izuku gave a small nod.

"Just look at her, Ochaco. She wouldn't react that way if they weren't..." Izuka wiped at her eyes.

"That's so sad," Tsuyu cried a little too. "Midnight was only trying to help the criminal because she cared so much about him."

"And the robber was trying to save Midnight, because deep in his villainous heart, he loved her, as well," Tenya spoke up gravely, though he wasn't crying.

"They were both just trying to look out for each other," Shoto looked away as he could sympathize, though he wasn't crying either. "That's ironic, isn't it?"

"I believe...that this is the truth behind the attack in the jewelry store," Izuku spoke sadly, the others looking upset.

"Ribbit..." Tsuyu murmured in a bit of despair.

The only one who was not moved by this tragic story was Katsuki. He looked pissed while looking away as he wasn't expecting this. But also, he found it to be a dumb reason to commit a robbery. This was actually some kinda love story?!

"Okay, that's enough," Mr. Aizawa spoke up from outside.

"Ooh!" Midnight stood up in excitement, having calmed down. "This was so fun!"

"What a 180!" Everyone except Shoto and Katsuki froze upon seeing this from her.

"Thanks, you three," Mr. Aizawa looked towards the three teachers. "You're all done here. Save your strength for the next group?"

"What'd you think of my acting?" Present Mic wondered as the three walked away.

"I'd reel it in a bit," Cementoss commented as he also thought it was a bit much.

"Midoriya, Mido," Mr. Aizawa looked towards the two.

"Sir!" They both answered curtly to him.

"Your deductions were exactly what we had scripted for this scenario," He revealed, to their shock. "The villain did stab himself with his own knife. It was smart work getting to that conclusion by asking a logical series of questions."

"Wow!" Ochaco smiled in support of the two. "Praise from Mr. Aizawa!"

Tenya smiled down at the twins. "Extremely well done, Midoriya and Mido!"

Izuku chuckled in embarrassment with a small blush. "I-it was nothing, really," Izuka giggled bashfully, rubbing the back of her neck.

"But you weren't perfect," Mr. Aizawa pointed out, getting their attention. "You seven overlooked one major thing."

"Huh?" The four blinked in confusion.

"Therefore, you earned...0 points."

Everyone yelped except Shoto and Katsuki from his assessment. "You've gotta be kidding!" Katsuki shouted towards him.

"What do you mean, Mr. Aizawa?" Izuka frowned a little towards him.

"Observe," He glanced to the ground and they looked towards the body...to see that it was completely gone.

"What?" Ochaco asked in utter disbelief.

"The villain's body is gone!"

Izuka ran towards the entrance, gasping. "Guys!" She waved them over as All Might cackled like a villain, running away from the scene.

"He's alive!" Izuku, Ochaco, and Tenya yelled in unison.

"I'm fleeing the scene and running toward freedom!" He announced, leaving everyone baffled. Mr. Aizawa then stepped outside to join them.

"You were all under the assumption that the villain was a corpse, so you didn't tie him up. And that's why you all fail," He revealed to his students. Most of them whipped around in alarm, as they thought All Might being dead was part of the scenario.

"Is that even allowed?!" Katsuki growled out, not looking back.

"Didn't you realize that All Might gave you a hint about the truth? He tried to help you. When Asui tickled his nose," Mr. Aizawa explained to all of them. Tsuyu let out a shocked ribbit as she realized that he wasn't meant to be moving, but he did. "He reacted, didn't he? You thought it was a mistake. But he was alive," He then walked away from them, leaving them stunned. "That's it for your special class. You're dismissed."

"Aw, man," Izuku whined at this.

"One of his deceptions again," Izuka gave a small frown. She should've known he'd do something like this.

"That's a dirty trick!" Katsuki growled out angrily.

"Uh!" Tenya then realized something. "Wait a second. If the villain is alive, then—he pretended to kill himself, but looked for a chance to escape the whole time! He didn't stay there for Midnight!"

"Midnight misunderstood and thought he did everything because he wanted to protect her name and honor," Tsuyu closed her eyes in despair.

"But their love story!" Ochaco cried out in disappointment.

"It was...!"

"Never real," Shoto looked up to the sky.

"They just made us think it was...! None of them ever said anything about seeing him take his own life," Izuka groaned in realization, dragging a hand down her face.

"I hate this test," Katsuki snarled, both by failing and by the tricks. "And this love stuff!" His yell was so strong the window started to crack.

"The window!" Ochaco yelped, and they all screamed as smoke came from the store.

Izuka coughed as she waved a hand. Once she recollected herself, she walked towards the broken glass, examining it closely. Izuku looked at the corner of his eye to see her bending down and picking up two glass pieces.

"Huh?" Ochaco noticed her too. "What are you doing, Mido?"

"Hm..." She ignored the question and summoned a small flame from her hand. She pressed the two glass pieces together as they started to melt. The girl then gave a satisfied smile as they formed together. "I can fix the window!" She offered, getting the attention of the other four.

"Really? How so?" Tenya blinked as they came over to see what she was doing. Katsuki stayed behind as he looked over his shoulder.

"It'll take a bit of effort. Glass is a form of art, so if I just use my flames on badly damaged windows, it could help with minimizing collateral damage in the future," She informed as she started forming glass into a pile.

"Whoa, I didn't know you could do that!" Izuku recoiled back in alarm.

"Well, my Quirk does allow me to use fire like Todoroki-San and Bakugo. You might wanna step back though..." She glanced back sheepishly at them.

"This could be very dangerous!" Tenya told her in his usual class-rep way. "Are you sure you should be doing this, Mido? You could burn yourself if not careful."

"I haven't practiced this at all," She confessed, to their confusion as she picked up a bunch of glass in her hands. "But luckily, I am Class 1-A's local artist," She smiled as she lit her hand, now holding a clump of molten glass. She pressed them together to mold them into an orange substance. She then stretched it out into a small square shape of the window like it was nothing, to their awe. Izuka looked up at the building and took a deep breath, blowing into the orange substance to make it as big as the building. A few seconds later, the glass cooled off to reveal a brand new window panel. She made a platform to stand on while the panel was underneath her arm, standing on it and elevating herself off the ground.

"We should all help her," Tsuyu looked at her classmates.

"Oh!" Izuku flinched in realization that it was a big window. "Right!"

And so, with Izuka's ability to blow glass, they all pitched in to fix the window. Even Katsuki helped out as he looked up at the girl laser-focused on fixing the building. She floated back down safely once the window was repaired, looking like it was never broken. The girl smiled proudly, hands on her hips as a shine came from the window.

"Good as new. We should head back now," She stated to the other six.

"That's so cool you can blow glass, Mido!" Ochaco smiled in excitement. "I bet you've got a lot of ideas for glasswork now, huh?"

"You'd be really good at making vases," Izuku smiled a little and Izuka was about to answer when Mr. Aizawa stepped in front of them.

"Not so fast."

They all gave shocked expressions to see him there. "Mr. Aizawa," Shoto murmured in thought, wondering why he came back.

"I saw you fix the window," He then turned to Izuka specifically. "Where'd you learn how to blow glass, Mido?"

"Ah..." She scratched her cheek awkwardly. "Well, I used to take pottery class in junior high. And so I just figured the two were the same...in that moment, I just remembered my lessons from back then, especially about how it works in a kiln."

"Huh. You're finally utilizing your Quirk in daily life, it seems...and it could save a lot of time when heroes damage property," He then turned around, his back to the seven. "I'll pass you for Mido fixing the window. But don't expect me to change my mind every time she manages to catch me off guard."

Izuka blinked in shock that he even admitted this to them. He walked away, and once he did, everyone except Katsuki and Shoto kneeled in front of the girl. They clasped their hands in joy with tears flying from their eyes.

"Thanks, Mido!" They all shouted in unison, alarming her.

"Ah?! I-it was nothing, all I did was fix a window..." She waved her arms rapidly to try and get them to calm down.

Katsuki stared at her in disbelief, giving a small scoff. He did have a small blush on his face, though. So what if she can blow glass now? Even if it was...kinda cool. Damn it, shorty, why do you always manage to surprise me? You must really enjoy making me flustered.

The door opened to the teacher's lounge, revealing Toshinori still in his villain get-up. He let out a cough. "Staying in my muscle form for so long is excruciating..." He walked back to his computer to see the email he never opened. "Oh, that's right. I had an email." He flinched once he saw who it was from. "It's from Melissa...?" He then opened it up to give it a read. "Dear Uncle Might..."

It's been such a long time! Melissa Shield here. I bet you're surprised to get a message from me. I'm writing you because I-Expo will be held on I-Island soon. She smiled while looking out to the island, hoping to hear from him soon. Where Papa and I live! Schools in Japan are on summer vacation right now, right? You should come see Papa! I'll send you a formal invitation to the Expo later. A Japanese hero who fought villains while studying abroad reunites with his American friend after so many years. She smiled while walking down a pathway, looking to all of the flora. Don't you think it sounds dramatic? PS: This is a surprise. He'll be so shocked if you show up out of the blue! Can you imagine the look on his face when he sees you again? She beamed up at a plane in the sky.

Toshinori looked up at the ceiling with a small sigh. It was true that he hadn't seen David in years...

"The Symbol of Peace?" David wondered as he and All Might looked out to a sunset.

"I wanna see a society where everyone can smile without worry. I will become a Symbol of Peace—a beacon of hope in this world," All Might revealed as his cape flowed in the wind.

Dave...

"I am here!" All Might announced while dragging some luggage behind him. "Waiting to ambush the Midoriya Twins on their walk home from UA!" He stopped in front of Izuku, but not his sister since he didn't know that she didn't walk home with her brother. "Hi!"

"Huh?! What are you doing here?" Izuku asked in shock; he hadn't had a run in like this with All Might ever since he told the twins the truth about One for All.

All Might turned back into Toshinori and he coughed. "Young Midoriya..." He then looked around for Izuka. "Where is your sister?"

"Oh! She doesn't actually walk home until later," Izuku rubbed the back of his neck. "The after-school crowds and all, you know? But considering today, she might be home a little early. I think she's still at school if you wanted to see her..."

"I'll call her and have her stay where she is, but it will cost me a trip back to the school," He gave an exhausted sigh. "Anyway, there's a place called I-Island. You ever hear of it?"

"Oh yeah, for sure!" Izuku gushed in excitement upon hearing the name. "I-Island is amazing! Every company in the world that's involved in the hero business invested money to create a technological paradise for the research and development of Quirks and support items! The result was an artificial, mobile island where almost 10,000 scientists now live. It's incredible! Its security system-"

"Do you wanna go there with me?!" He yelped at Izuku, blood flying from his mouth.

Izuku gasped sharply at the question. "Really? You want us to go together...?"

"I don't mean we'll just be goofin' off. Now that you've officially become my successor, there are lots of tricks of the trade you need to learn about," Toshinori told him with a serious expression.

"You're doing it for me...? Are you sure about this?" Izuku asked him cautiously.

"Not just for you. For your sister, too. I already know she'd get a lot of artistic inspiration there," He gave a small smirk.

Izuku smiled at his mentor in determination. "Let's go!"

"Then you'd better run up to your room and pack your bags right away so we can jet. Can't keep the plane waiting. Pack your sister's stuff too, we might have to call her and get her to haul her ass back here."

"We're going now?!" Izuku yelped upon learning this information.

"Yes! Hurry up! Go!" Toshinori urged the boy.

"Ah, yeah, yeah, I'm going! Don't leave without us!"

Izuka sighed in relief while grabbing her things from the classroom. Today was a long day after all of the craziness with the special classes. So she didn't paint outside today, she sketched inside the classroom to relax her. They may have passed the exams, but Class 1-A still had a long way to go...

She put her stuff gently into her bag, grabbing her black one as well. She stepped towards the doorway and then a shoe stepped into the hallway. She blinked as Katsuki revealed himself, leaning against the doorway to stare at her. The girl gulped nervously since she told him to not walk her home, but he kept insisting on it. So she had just went along with it even though she could've just gone with anyone else...

"You gonna stand there all day or are you coming? I don't have all damn day to wait on your slow ass," Katsuki grunted and she rolled her eyes, walking out into the hallway. He took her black bag as usual, turning around. He quickly glanced over his shoulder though as...what she said during the special classes came back to mind.

"No one would go to that length for anyone unless they really cared deep down."

He glanced towards a ticket he had for I-Island. She wouldn't be a choice for anything, but...she does love art for some reason. She'd go nuts to see everything there. Not because I care, but because I know that she'd miss out on it if I don't ask.

He came to a stop, causing her to look up. "Listen up, I'm only gonna ask this once and never again. You know I-Island?"

She gasped, her eyes lighting up in awe. "Of course I do, they have so much cool stuff there...! I've always wanted to go...why?"

"Well..." He dug into his pocket, glancing up at the girl again. "There's-"

Her phone went off and she looked at it to see it was her brother. "Ah. It's Izuku, I have to take this." He gave her a wide-eyed look as she answered. "Hello?"

"Izuka, you have to come home right now!" He shouted into her ear and she moved away her phone in pain. Katsuki's eyes twitched a little as he heard him and Izuka put her phone back to her ear.

"Why? What happened? Are you and Mom okay?"

"Uh..." Izuku then remembered that Katsuki walked her home every day after class. So he couldn't explain over the phone what he was doing. "It's just important!" He tried to hide his excitement. "And it can't wait, so are you able to fly home?"

"I-I could, but what's going on?" She stammered a little in confusion.

"I'll tell you soon, I promise! Just get here fast!" And with that, he hung up. She turned around to the baffled Katsuki as she grabbed her bag.

"I'm...really sorry, but Izuku needs me right now. Rain check, okay?" The girl asked nervously and didn't wait for a response as she ran off. He watched her summon a flying star and flying off before he could react. He stared up at the girl and then gripped his tickets angrily.

The damn nerd interrupting me...whatever it was, he better have a good reason for being a bastard.

"Young Midoriyas!" All Might grinned widely at the twins. "Did you enjoy my star turn as a criminal? You almost caught me! Man, I'm such a sucker for love stories."

"Really?" Izuka asked him in a bit of awe.

"Well, it wasn't actually a love story," Izuku pointed out a bit awkwardly. "But! More importantly, we're all going to I-Island really soon, aren't we? What's it like over there, All Might?"

"I'm so excited!" Izuka gushed, bouncing up and down a little.

"You'll both see! But only if you watch the movie!" All Might grinned down at them.

"Oh, I get it, nice plug. People can watch My Hero Academia: Two Heroes in theaters soon!"

"Or in this case, read The Symbol of Light's take on it right now!" Izuka gave a small knowing giggle.

"Spoken like true heroes of marketing!" All Might praised, earning bashful laughter. "Next time, we'll continue where the last episode left off! Can Young Midoriya, Young Mido and the rest of their intrepid classmates defeat Gang Orca, who barged into the middle of the second round? Will they be able to get their provisional hero licenses or not? They might fail miserably!"

"Come on, why would you say that?" Izuku felt a bit mortified at that.

"It's just part of the preview..." Izuka let out a nervous chuckle.

"And the most important question on everyone's minds: Will Young Mido ever confess her love for Young Bakugo?!"

"Ohhhh," She let out a loud embarrassed whine as her whole face got red. "Why would you—I don't love him!"

"You love Kacchan?!" Izuku's eyes lit up and she hit her head against the table, mortified.

"Now you've got my brother started..."

"Thank you so much for watching the show," All Might grinned widely while looking up ahead. Izuka let out another whine as she straightened up to face straight ahead like Izuku. But her eyes were closed.

"You are the real heroes!" The two said in unison, bowing.

"Just please don't insist that I love Katsuki..." Izuka pleaded while bowing as well. "I'd die of embarrassment..."

"You ready, kids?"

"Let's say it together!" The three smiled, pumping a fist. "Go beyond! Plus Ultra!" They pumped up their fists to the ceiling.

"And thank you for reading this edition of the special episode for the fanfiction story of The Symbol of Light!" Izuka smiled with a small wave.
