Chapter 30: Gratitude

Momo went back to the UA dorms to check on Kenshi.

"Kenshi? Sweetie?" she asked.

She heard a few distant sobs coming from a certain dorm room. She went over and knocked on the door.

"Kenshi? Its me, Momo." Momo said, "Please open up."

The doors opened revealing a teary eyed Kenshi who had been crying. Momo embraced the blue highlight gamer in her arms and hugged him tight, with no intention of letting him go.

"Its ok, I'm here, I'm here," Momo said.

"I look pathetic right now don't I?"

"Kenshi, nothing those two immature people said is true," she said.

"But I'm-"

"You are an amazing boy," Momo said as she rubbed his hair, "You've inspired people to continue pursuing their goals, you helped me with my quirk, and you've helped the entire class. You've proven to all the naysayers that you're more than meets the eye. Even your father. No. Especially your father."

Kenshi hugged her tighter.

"You're smart, you're strong, and above all, you're one of the bravest heroes in training I've seen in my life," she continued, "There are times where I'm afraid I'm not good enough. But seeing you inspires me to keep going, even when times are tough. You're spectacular, and don't you dare let anyone tell you otherwise. You're an amazing hero, and I love you."

"I love you too Momo," Kenshi said.

"Jojo?" asked someone.

The two of them turned to see the entire class.

"Hey guys..." Kenshi said as he sniffled.

"So... what was all that Bulldozer stuff those kids were talking about?" Mina asked.

"Everyone please, Kenshi isn't very comfortable talking about this," Momo said.

"Momo... they have a right to know," Kenshi said, giving her a nod.

Momo sighed.

"So... There was this hero school that was having its 30th anniversary," Momo explained, "But Kenshi's father, looking for a quick buck that day, decided to purchase the land, and replace that school with a factory."

"Oh yea, I read about that online," Sato said.

"Yea did you know Kenshi insisted that his mom and he drive to the houses of all the areas?" Momo asked, "He was 6 years old, and walked up to that crowd, and asked for their forgiveness. At the turn of a hat, they stopped blaming that man and then just... turned it all on his kid."

"I understand being angry about having the hero school get torn down, but to blame it on a child?" Mina asked.

"Those people aren't even human!" Jiro said

"Its because of that incident that I couldn't make any friends or connections. They constantly called me Bulldozer and taunted me for having that man as a father. I was hoping for a fresh start when I came to UA, but now… the secret is out."

"We're not gonna judge you for keeping this a secret," Izuku said, "We're not just a class. We're family."

Kenshi wiped his tears a way.

"Thank you guys," Kenshi said.

Momo gave Kenshi her hand.

"Now come on, we're gonna go out there, and you're gonna show those naysayers that you belong here. And we'll be right by your side," she said, "We promise."

Kenshi took her hand and got back up. Days went on and everyone was back into school action. It was time for heroics training. Everyone was at an obstacle course, with their new and improved costumes. Kenshi gave his hero costume a complete overhaul. Eri was wearing a onesie based off Izuku's costume to show her support for her daddy.

"I think I see new and improved students," All Might said, "Time to see what you all have learned during your internships! And Eri, great onesie!"

"Thank you Grandpa Might!" Eri said.

Everyone gushed at the fact that Eri just called All Might her grandpa.

"So what's this area?" Kenshi asked.

"Groups of five or four will race to get to the flagpole at the end, while evading certain obstacles that come in your way," All Might explained.

Izuku and Kenshi were in the first round.

"Deku/Kenshi is gonna win this," Ochako and Momo said at the same time.

"Oh balls," Katsuki said.

"No, Deku/Kenshi! I said Deku/Kenshi! DEKU/KENSHI!" Ochako and Momo said butting heads.

At this, Izuku and Kenshi looked at there girlfriends and sweat dropped.

"Uh... may the best hero win?" Izuku asked.

"Totally," Kenshi said.

"Although I still have a bit ofworktodosinceididjustunlockgearshiftandfajinsomeofthosemovesididduringtheinternshipwerejustmovesicameupwithonthespot-" Izuku said going into a muttering phase.

"Don't worry Daddyiknowyoucandoitbecauseyourethebestherointheworldandnobodycanevencomeclosetoyou-" Eri said, going into a mutter phase of her own.

"I think she may be Yagi's secret love child," Shoto said.

"I actually agree," Kenshi said.

Later on the 4 members were in ready positions.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaand GO!"

All Might said.

Izuku used 20% of Full Cowling and started to levitate and fly. Kenshi ate a Super Mushroom, grew in size and started performing parkour movements to get ahead. Mina was skating on acid while Sero was Spider-Manning the shit. Izuku started performing the Delaware Smash to propel himself further.

Kenshi was watching as he was jumping and running.

"Whoa, Deku is getting better," he said to himself, "Looks like those games I gave him are helping wi-ACK!"

Kenshi got stopped and whacked by a pipe, losing his power-up.

"Dammit!"

Izuku ended up winning the race.

"Although Izuku won, you all are improving tremendously!" All Might said.

"If I hadn't let myself get distracted I would've won," Kenshi said, "If only I were taller I wouldn't have to use the Super Murhsoom so much."

"Oh its ok Kenshi, actually its better that you're short," Momo told him.

"Why's that?" Kenshi asked.

Momo then hugged Kenshi to her chest

"Because I can do this!" Momo said, "And because you're so cute."

"Hmmmph." Kenshi said as his face was being smothered by her tits.

Everyone was getting situated and relaxed in the dorms after classes ended. Momo was reading a book to Eri and she was enjoying it. Everyone was all relaxed, but then suddenly, the door was kicked off its hinges, embedded to the wall. Everyone turned to see the pro hero Mirko in civilian clothing.

"Sup," she said.

"Ms Mir... I mean Mirko!" Kenshi said, "What a surprise to see you... uhhh isn't that my shirt?"

"Maybe?" Mirko asked, "But anyway, I figured I should come in person and thank you for the healing."

"Oh no problem," Kenshi said.

"As a reward, you're gonna be my new boyfriend."

"I'm sorry. What?" Kenshi asked as if his ears deceived him.

Ugh, come here."

She then pulled Kenshi in for a kiss. After a few seconds she let go. Kenshi was highly confused of what's going on.

"Uhhh... I'm flattered but... I have a girlfriend already," Kenshi said, pointing to Momo.

"Oh I don't mind sharing you with her, Kenshi," Momo said, "We talked a bit."

"Eh?!" Kenshi asked as he looked at Momo as if she grew a second head.

"Well good," Mirko said, "Also call me Rumi when I'm not on patrol."

"Uh... okay Mir- I mean... Rumi." Kenshi stuttered.

"And also, I'll be taking a job teaching here when needed," Rumi said, "So all of you better get ready to feel the burn."

Everyone gulped. Rumi also gave Kenshi something.

"Something from the chief of police," she said.

He opened the envelope and it opened up to reveal a check for a lot of money.

"Those people really owed you for what you did for them," she said with a smirk as she gave him a hug, "And so do I."

"So…. our two strongest students have two girlfriends," Kaminari said, "And everybody's just gonna roll with it."

"I am," Katsuki said, "Deku may be a nerd, but he deserves happiness. And if any counterparts of mine from across the multiverse say otherwise, then fuck them."

Meanwhile in another location, Tomura was watching the news, seeing that Izuku and Kenshi took care of the Nomu that was terrorizing people.

"These two are stronger than I realized," he said, "No matter. Once I acquire what I need, I'll wipe them both from existence. And then once they're gone, its time for me to destroy the one obstacle in my way."

He looked at a photo. It was one of Tenko and his family when he was younger. He started having flashbacks of when he was first created. Tenko's dad was known for working at Quirkcorp, and achieved fame for creating artificial quirks, making one for his son.

This is how Tomura was born. But he went crazy thinking there should be only one Tenko. He went berzerk and tried to hurt the others, until Tenko and Kotaro intervened, driving him away. For years he fended for himself, growing older as Tenko did. He managed to steal some of the artificial quirks, and teamed up with people to create the Nomu, based off designs from Quirkcorp.

"Enjoy whatever days you have left Tenko," Tomura said, "Because once I rise up…"

He decayed the photo into dust.

At the police station, Tenko was telling people what he saw.

"And that's what happened," Tenko said, "I've been careful with my clones since then. To think this Tomura was one of my clones,"

"Well we're doing a world wide search to find him," Tsukauchi told him, "Sources are telling us he might be planning to invade somewhere outside of Japan."

"Where at? I'll get there before he does and ambush him." Tenko said.

"Me too," Hana said.

"I-Island," Tsukauchi answered.
