Percabeth is 18 and starting senior year at Goode High. Enjoy :)))
DON'T SUE ME PLZ
I AM BROKE AND DON'T OWN PJO AT ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL
It all started at a regular hang-out in Sally Jackson-Blofis's apartment, where the Seven, Grover, Nico, Will, Calypso, and Reyna were sprawled out in the living room, playing an intense game of Monopoly.
Grover, Hazel, Frank and Jason had gone bankrupt already, while Nico was in jail and Piper was trying to charmspeak herself out of paying Will's property fee. Reyna looked like she was about to kill Leo for singing the ear tip of her dog token. Piper ended up paying the fee and went bankrupt, eliciting a loud "Whoop-de-doo!" from Will before he rolled the dice and landed in jail with Nico. Leo got excited when Reyna's piece landed on his property and ended up burning the board to ashes. Flaming sparks of paper money landed on the carpet and would've caught fire lest Percy hadn't used his water powers to douse the flames.
"Leo!" Everyone whined.
They retired to the couch, Grover, Will, Nico, and Reyna sitting on the big couch in front of the TV. Leo squashed in with them and Calypso sat on the floor, her head between her boyfriend's legs (not like that you dirty minded pigs) and back leaning comfortably against the couch. Piper sat on the armrest of the couch, Jason went to go get drinks, Frank and Hazel sat on a smaller couch perpendicular to the big one, and Annabeth sat on Percy's lap, cuddled together on the loveseat on the other side of the big couch.
Annabeth's head was resting in the crook of Percy's neck and he had his arms wrapped loosely around her waist, one of his hands playing with her golden curls.
"You guys are always attached at the hip," Leo commented with the edge of a snicker in his voice. "I bet you couldn't go a week without each other!"
"Oh yeah?" Annabeth retorted almost instantly, her competitive side kicking in. "Twenty drachmas."
Leo smirked. "Deal." His nose caught on fire with the excitement and Calypso quickly reached up to snuff it out with a fireproof handkerchief. These days, Leo was so hyper that he had to wear fireproof clothes almost all the time. Today, he had on a black t-shirt and loose shorts, tailored by Calypso.
"School's starting tomorrow," Leo continued confidently. "You guys have to pretend to not know each other for a week. If anyone finds out you're dating in a week, you have to pay up."
Percy scoffed. "If anyone in this relationship's gonna lose control first, it's definitely Wise Girl. Remember how you jumped me as soon as I came back from Camp Jupiter the other day?"
Annabeth blushed and elbowed Percy. "Oh, please. We all know that you're going to break first, since you couldn't go two seconds without kissing me this morning. You're so clingy."
Their parents' natural rivalry showing, Percy and Annabeth jumped out of each other's embrace, facing each other with competitive flames dancing in their eyes. Green against gray.
"Thirty drachmas you break first, Seaweed Brain," Annabeth taunted.
"Starting tomorrow?"
"Yup."
They shook hands on it and sat as far away from each other on the loveseat as possible as if trying to prove that they could resist the temptation even now, but ended up making out in front of their friends.
Leo chuckled to himself. This was going to be the easiest bet he's ever won.
(the next day)
The Demigods walked into high school for their first day. They had gotten everyone new enrolled. While they were in the office getting their schedules, Percy and Annabeth went to their separate homerooms.
(Annabeth pov)
I walked into homeroom with Mrs. Zimmerman, already missing the comforting presence of my Seaweed Brain. But I couldn't lose that bet. I had to prove to Leo and Percy that I didn't need them.
I took a seat near the back of the classroom, right next to the door and a window so that if any monsters attacked I would have a good escape route. However, I could also see the board perfectly from here.
A girl walked up to me.
"Hiya! My name's Julinn and I think we're going to be great friends!"
She held out her hand to shake mine and I took it. This girl seemed very quirky, but smart and confident. She seemed like a great person. Julinn sat down next to me. She was a couple inches shorter than I was and had short-cropped black hair, soft bangs rimming her face in an angelic way. Her hair had a gentle wave to it, curving around her silver-framed glasses and framing her eyes elegantly. She was pretty, no doubt, but if I had to guess, she would definitely be a total bookworm.
We exchanged numbers and started surveying the other people in the room, strategically guessing who was a nice person, who was a bratty slut, and who was a perverted jock. She definitely seemed like a daughter of Athena...but she was 100% mortal. She had both parents and no strange things had ever happened to her.
Turns out we had all the same classes together. Julinn also loved architecture and was a whiz at math, just like me! Her friendliness almost made up for Percy's absence...almost. No matter how nice mortals were, they simply couldn't compare to the emotional connection I had with other Demigods.
(Percy pov)
I walked into homeroom, taught by my stepdad Paul. Some guys made friends with me since we were all on the swim team. I learned that their names were Jake, Ryan, and Toby. Toby had a girlfriend (I think her name was Jolie? Julie? Oh, right. Julinn) and they had been dating for six months. Ryan and Jake were single and spent their free time either having water gun fights or checking out girls, which I found ridiculous. Who would look at girls when their beauty simply couldn't compare to my Wise Girl? Oh...my Wise Girl, who I couldn't even acknowledge at school yet. :(
I sat down, tuning out as I daydreamed about Annabeth's beautiful curls...how they wound around my finger perfectly...how they shone in the sunlight and smelled like lemons and ambrosia...
Stay tuned for the next update...coming tomorrow!
Expect daily updates with a few exceptions :)
R pleaseeee...
