"Oi! Pack it up!" shouted drax to his pokemon. Several of his pokemon began cleaning up the food and other supplies from their meal. Six out of the eight that were out then turned into red light as Drax held his arms out towards them. They flew into the barrels of his gauntlets and into their respective pokeballs. The only two that were still out were his Serperior and his delta Lopunny as their pokeballs were in another team and technically weren't actually in use at the moment. Drax's Lopunny lacked the cotton-like ears that regular Lopunny had. He was mostly black with a bit of brown on his torso that looked like he was wearing a shirt with arm length gloves. At the ends of his long ears and legs were patches of grey fur. His eyebrows, much like the rest of his fur looked quite messy.

"Who's the kid?" asked the Lopunny. Hearing him speak caught ash off guard. "You can talk!?" ash exclaimed. "You weren't surprised when Serperior talked." drax said. ash looked over at drax. "I thought it was your translator." he said. "Nah, the translator is only for the pokemon that didnt take the human speech serum." Drax said. Pikachu perked up at that. "Human speech serum?" he asked. "Yeah," said drax. "Made it to give any pokemon the ability of human speech." pikachu launched himself at drax and grabbed his hood on the sides. "Gimme!" he said while staring drax in the eyes. "Grinade." said drax. A machanical arm came from his backpack and a vial came out of the end. it had a blue liquid in it. "It may take a few hours to take effect." Drax said as he took the vial and handed it to the mouse. "Is that safe?" asked ash. "Its perfectly fine." said serperior. "It usually tastes li-" "Ooh, ketchup." exclaimed pikachu after drinking it. "like whatever the pokemon's favorite food is..." serperior finished blinking at the odd choice of favorite food.

The group started heading for vermillion city. Ash at least wanted to catch one pokemon and was about to tell pikachu to go after a nearby Spearow. Drax stopped him however and warned Ash to not mess with a Spearow. There are usually others and upsetting one means upsetting the whole flock. Right after saying this a large spikey brown bird ran past the group at high speed. "what the- that was a galarian zapdos!" said drax. "Is that rare?" asked ash. "its more then rare! It's a legendary! But it shouldnt even be in kanto!" drax said as his backpack reconfigured itself into a jetpack. "Wait here. I'm gonna check out what that actually was."

drax took off after the galarian legendary only to stop as the tracks stopped in front of a magnazone. Drax narrowed his eyes at the pokemon before flicking the it on the nose. it glowed red as it transformed into a small fox pokemon. it was white with a bit of red on its head, paws, and tail. It looked like a zorua but it was wierd. Drax picked it up by the scruff of its neck. "You're a strange one." said drax with a raised eyebrow.

"Release me, metal armed human!" it said, The translator picking up his words. One of drax's pokeballs opened and a regular looking Zorua materialized. "why do you look wierd?" she asked the white zorua. "Me look weird?! Looked in a mirror lately?!" exclaimed the white zorua. "ok, ok, knock it off." said drax. "Want to explain where you came from?" drax asked the wierd colored fox. "To my knowledge zorua are supposed to look like that." he said pointing to his zorua. "How about instead you tell me where in the name of lord avalugg I am?!" the white zorua said. "Kanto." said drax. "Never heard of it." said the zorua. "how about you answer my question?" said drax. "Alabaster icelands." replied the fox. "never heard of that." said drax. "look all i know is that i was minding my own buisness and then this big purple dome thing appeared and now im here." he said.

Drax raised an eyebrow at this. "wierd." he said. "well, you're welcome to travel with us til we figure out how to get you home." The white fox looked him up and down. "Fine. But I don't want to be caught unless I say otherwise." zorua said. "Thats fine." said Drax. "I already have a zorua, so i dont need another one. what type are you anyway?" he asked. The zorua gave him an 'are you serious?' expression. "I'm ghost and normal like every zorua." he said. "I'm dark type." said drax's zorua. "Impossible! no zorua in all of hisui is a dark type!" declared the ghost zorua. "Well, I don't know what Hisui is but im from unova." she responded. "Can we discuss this later?" asked drax. He was getting a bit annoyed at the arguement.

Drax and the two zorua arrived back to where ash was. "So?" asked ash. "It was a regional zorua." said drax gesturing to the white zorua. "This one is mine." he said gesturing to the other. The white zorua changed into a white haired Ash while Drax's Zorua changed into a red pikachu. "whoa!" ash exclaimed. "They're like Ditto!" drax chuckled. "Not quite. Its an illusion, not an actual transformation. Lets continue onto veridian." drax said and they began walking. They passed by a girl that was fishing on the way she glanced at them but kept fishing. drax noticed this and spoke up. "it looks like its about to rain. I'd recomend finding some shelter before you get caught in the storm." he said to her. The girl glared at him before speaking. "I'm a water type trainer. I can handle a bit of water. I dont need pitty from you." she said before turning away from him. Drax just stared at the girl for a minute along with ash who looked like he wanted to say something. Drax just ushered him along and they began walking again. However, he smirked as he turned his head slightly so she could hear. "Ignore her ash. She's just a spoiled brat." the girl turned upon hearing this but the two were already gone.

"Was it really nessisary to say that?" asked the hisuian zorua. "Hey, she wanted to be a brat after I offered my help. She can't blame me for something she started." drax said. "I suppose you have a point." said the zorua. "If it were me she talked to like that, I'd show her what for!" said ash. the hisuian zorua glanced at ash. "I like this one." he said. "He's got fire in him."

It started to rain soon after their little conversation. They had to take shelter in a nearby cave to make sure they didnt get drenched. "That was close." said ash. "Yeah." said drax. "Last thing I need is my suit getting wet." drax began pressing some buttons on his gauntlet. Neither trainer noticed the purple dome shape appearing behing them. The hisuian zorua did though.

"Look! That's the thing that brought me here!" he exclaimed. The trainers and pokemon looked over at the dome as it began fading. there was a large silloette that could be seen as the dome faded. when it was finally visble, the hisuian zorua's eyes widened in fear. "A-Alpha!" he screeched before hiding behind ash.

The pokemon was large with glowing red eyes and wasnt as threatening in appearance as the Zorua seemed to think it was. "That is one big lopunny." said drax. The lopunny's head snapped to drax. "A metal armed human?" she said with a raised eyebrow. "Interesting. I do not know where I am, but I shall claim it as my territory."

one of drax's pokeballs openned as serperior made herself known. She pulled out her two pistols and aimed them at the lopunny. "You aint claiming trubish you overgrown carrotmuncher." she said as her tail also aimed at the lopunny. "We could just leave the cave?" said drax. "I agree with him!" said the hisuian zorua. "You wish to challenge me, reptile? You are no alpha." said the lopunny. "your size doesnt mean anything to me." serperior said as she rushed at the lopunny. "Guess we're doing this. Serperior use mach punch!" drax shouted serperior did so landing a heavy hit on the lopunny. She was not expecting that to do much damage. Esspecially when she was thrown deeper into the cave. "So, you are mighty for a small lizard." she said. "Use toxic shot!" shouted drax. Lopunny's eyes went wide as three glowing purple orbs of energized poison flew towards her. each of them hit their mark doing more damage and paralysing the rabbit pokemon.

"well played, reptile and human." she said as she struggled to move. Her eyes widened again as what looked like a pokeball flew towards her and hit her on the head. "I suppose you've earned that." she said. "You have earned my repect human. And my service." she said as she was sucked inside the ultraball. she didnt struggle as the ball dinged, signifying the capture. "Well, now we dont have to leave the cave but we do need to get her to the pokemon center.

"You... you beat an alpha!" said the hisuian zorua. "Is that why she was so big?" asked drax. "Why are you so calm about this?!" shouted the zorua. "Alpha pokemon aren't something I've really seen before. nor anyone else. They may not be a thing anywhere besides this hisui place you speak of." said drax. "If that's how powerful the pokemon around here, I definitely need to stay around you guys." the zorua said. "I need to get stronger!" drax just nodded before noticing that the rain had stopped. "Hey, we can continue to the pokemon center now." said drax. as he began walking to the exit. Ash, the two zorua, and serperior followed.

"Wow, look at that rainbow." said ash. drax looked up and saw it. "Nice." he said. "hey look!" said ash pointing at something. Drax looked and his eyes widened. "That's the legendary Ho-Oh!" said drax. "Whats it doing in kanto?" he said with suspicion as he activated his pokedex. luckily it was actually ho-oh. "No ditto or zorua. That's ligit the legendary in the flesh." drax said. "And feathers." said ash. "I can't believe we got to see that." Both boys were awestruck at the legendary. "Come on. Lets get a move on before Arceus decides to drop more rain on us." A large ring appeared behind drax and a black and purple snowrunt flew out of it and hit him in the head. luckily, he caught it before it hit the ground. The ring disappeared before anyone saw it.

"Hi." said the snowrunt. The translator giving it a female voice as was the snorunt's gender. "Are you a trainer?" she asked drax. "I am. Are you a delta species?" asked drax noticing the off colors. "whats that?" asked the snorunt. "A pokemon with the wrong typing." drax replied. "I'm dark and fairy!" she exclaimed. "That's a yes." drax said. "You mind if a catch you? Im doing research on other delta species and you'd be very helpful." drax asked. "You got food?" she asked. "yes." replied drax. "Can I evolve into a froslass?" she asked. "That's for you to decide not me." said drax. "Do I have to stay in the ball?" she asked. "Not unless you want to." said drax. "Catch me." she said. drax took out a ball and caught her with it. Ash just stared at drax. "That was the wierdest pokemon capture I've ever seen." he said. "It won't be the last." drax said.

Not long later the group arrived at a small white building. It had an officer jenny talking through an intercom warning people about a couple of theives in the area. she noticed the group as they were passing. "hold it you two!" she shouted ash she grabbed ash by the collar and drax by the cloak. she was not prepared when one of drax's pokeballs opened revealing glaceon. her arm was coated in an ice gauntlet as she grabbed jenny's arm.

"take your hands off my trainer!" she said as she glared at the woman. jenny was too stunned at the talking, human looking pokemon to respond. She shook it off a moment later and pointed at pikachu and the two zorua. "Where do you two think youre going with those pokemon?" she said. "To the pokemon center? duh." said drax's zorua. jenny was once agaim shocked at the talking pokemon. "does she actually think you guys are stealing us?" said pikachu. halfway through the sentence he started speaking human. "Woo! It worked!" he said once he realized. Jenny was even more caught off guard by this. "I knew I shouldn't have eaten that expired donut." she said. "You're perfectly fine." said drax. "I gave pikachu and zorua a serum i made that allows pokemon to speak human language. here." he said handing jenny a vile. it works on all pokemon just make sure yours are okay with it before you give it to them."

jenny then turned her head towards the still angry glaceon. "what about that one?" she said pointing to the human/pokemon hybrid. "she's an accident." drax said while smirking slightly. "Oi!" said glaceon. "I kid. I kid." drax said. "I made another serum by accident and she took that one." jenny looked back and forth between the pokemon andher trainer. "So why not make a serum to change her back?" she asked. "Hell no!" shouted glaceon. "I like being tall and being able to punch shit!" she demonstrated by punching drax in the arm. then shaking it off since his arms still had the exosuit over it.

"The only pokemon here that's not ours is the white zorua." drax said pointing to the pokemon. "He's just kinda following us." "you invited me." the hisuian zorua said. "Doesn't really change what i said." drax replied. "why can I understand him?" jenny asked. "My translator." drax said tapping the light on his chestplate. "interesting." said jenny. "well, sorry for bothering you and accusing you of stealing pokemon. I've been a bit on edge since those thieves have been around." she said. "Are they that good at their job?" asked drax. "Actually, no. But they're damn good at escaping. they'd probably make better actors with the preformance they put on." drax looked thoughtful at this. "We'll keep an eye out for them." he said to jenny. jenny nodded and they headed off to the pokemon center.

ash had called his mother after arriving at the pokemon center. she was happy he made it and was introduced to drax. afterwards he called professor oak.

"Ah, hello ash." said the professor. "I see you made it. And before gary even." ash perked up at that. "I beat gary? Wasn't he in a car though?" oak nodded. "He's probably catching any pokemon he comes accross. Speaking of which. He bet me 100 bucks you wouldn't catch a single pokemon before getting to the pokemon center. I bet him otherwise." ash sweat dropped and was about to break the news to the professor before the hisuan zorua jumped into view of the screen. "my goodness what pokemon is that?!" the professor exclaimed. "it looks like a zorua but its color is different." drax walked over upon hearing that. "it's a zorua but i think he's a regional variant. He said something about hisui." he said to the professor. "hisui, you say? thats what the sinnoh region was called long ago. wait, did you say he told you?!" oak said shocked. "i have a translator that can turn pokespeech into human language." drax said. "fasinating. you must tell me how it works when we meet in person!" oak said before a ringing could be heard on his end of the call. "oh, thats my pizza got to go!" he said ending the call.

"that man has weird priorities." drax said. "oh, yeah." he said running over to nurse joy. "hey could you heal this lopunny i just caught?" drax asked. "a lopunny? in kanto?" asked nurse joy. :you wouldnt believe the story if i told you." he said. "oh, i should probably go back there with you. shes a bit agressive and seeing you without me around might cause her to feel threatened." drax explained. "why would she feel threatened?" asked joy. she doesnt seem to trust any human but me since i bested her in a battle." drax said. "alright come on." nurse joy said as drax followed close behind. if he had stayed a bit longer he wouldve noticed the sillouette of a large hot air balloon above the pokemon center.
