i dont own pokemon
After the situation with mt. moon and their traveling group expanding to 9 (since seymor decided to live with the clefairy for some reason), the group had just about made it to cerulean city. drax had been paying close attention to misty as she'd been acting nervous and had suggested on multiple occasions to go to a different gym. drax knew what she was on about. he'd known from the begining wo misty really was. he also knew that according to rumors, the other three gym leaders of cerulean city were sorry excuses of gym leaders. drax wasnt the only one who knew, either. brock and elesa kept giving misty glances. the other 5 were blissfully unaware or didnt really care.
drax discretely slowed down so he was next to misty. "so when are you gonna come clean and tell ash who you are?" he asked. misty flinched and stared at drax in shock. "how'd you-" she started but drax cut her off. "one. i knew from the start. two. youve been trying to avoid going to the gym so its clear youre hiding something. three aside from you there are two other gym leaders here that already know who you are and told me despite the fact i already knew. so my question is, why are you so nervous? from the information I've gathered, youre the only true gym leader of the four. your sisters seem lazy and neglectful of their job." drax said. misty blinked at his words.
"what other information have you gathered?" she asked. "your sisters are giving out badges instead of doing actual battles." drax said. "WHAT?!" misty shrieked in anger. she stomped forward and grabbed ash's wrist. "come on, ash we have a gym battle to do!" she said. "you're taking the gym challenge too?" asked a confused ash. "no, stupid! im one of the gym leaders! my sisters are too stupid and lazy to do their job so im going t be the gym leader you're challenging!" they had reached cerulean city by this point and drax let them go. he had to do his own training. he had some new pokemon that needed to catch up with his others.
firstly, drax sent out the ralts line quadruplets. "grifist, youre with vio for sparing. evergreen you work with gyroblast." he said. the four of them gave a nod getting to training right off the bat. imediatly gyroblast had to dodge a pink psychoarrow from evergreen. she was always fast for a gardevoir. he imediatly returned fire with his back gatling guns will trying to gain some distance. meanwhile vio and grifist started trading blows. both being evenly matched. grifist and vio both had brutal fighting styles. vio's was a bit more brutal. he was not against using cheap shots and even using kicks. something gallade werent normally known for. being his sister, though meant she was use to his dirty tactics. though she was still slightly taken off guard when he kicked her in the ass hard enough to launch her off the ground. she shrieked loud enough for her other two siblings to hear. the winced as she landed on her rear. causing her to yelp again. meanwhile vio was doubled over dying with laughter. "the lass squeaks like a wailord getting shocked by a wee pichu!" vio weezed. he was laughing to notice his incoming demise. he was hit by a now fairy type grifist via punch in the face and kick betwix the legs. he colapsed in a heap while holding hos dignity. "me timbers have been shivered." he moaned while trembling from pain.
Meanwhile, drax had ralts out to observe the four pokemon spar. she had taken an interest in gyroblast specifically due to his surprisingly wide arsenal depending on his form. while his arm cannon bever changed much his back guns always changed functionality depending on his type.
drax then looked over to his newly obtained mew. who while still very young and not as strong as other older mew, was still a legendary. He had him training with glaceon and serperior since they were the more gentle of tye group but also knew how to train new recruits well.
they first attemptrd to teach mew their signature moves since mew could learn any move. surprisingly mew got the hang of both glacial fist and toxic shot rather quickly. even learning how to combine the two moves so he had ice guantlets that could fire toxic energy out of the palms.
meowth was training with drax's zorua. he was taking drax's advice to heart. and while he wasnt going to be a battler, it was still a good idea to be able to defend himself. he'd already replaced fury swipes with shadow claw.
It was good to note that most of drax's pokemon had access to more then Four moves due to breaking that limiter with how often they just make up moves like sand punch or toxic palm. the latter being created by serperior after shatter made up sand punch. he'd had his other 4 original team members working on that kind of training to increase the amount of moves they had.
so far galvantula and lucario were the only ones to have two extra moves. galvantula being very proud of herself for that accomplishment. lucario just wanted to push himself harder. garchomp and archeops were still working on it. he had snorunt work with glaceon glaceon and serperior alongside mew since she was also new. he then felt a tugging on his pant leg and looked down to see ralts looking up at him.
"Can i do that?" she asked pointing at gyroblast. "maybe." drax said. "we need to find you a metal coat first. we also dont know if female ralts can become gyroblast. grifist are female only and grifist and gyroblast seem to be the reverse of gardevoir and gallade, so you might be able to." ralts took in this information and once again stared at gyroblast. off to the side was titana and iron valiant. sparing with enough force to cause shockwaves. they were surprisingly terrifying with how hard their hits were.
after training was finished, and drax bought a dawn stone and metal coat for both ralts and snorunt, the latter already more then ready to evolve, drax headed over to the gym to see how as did. turns out ash's zorua was actually way more experienced then he thought. and whe ash had used him in battle against misty's starmie he'd one shot the poor water type wth a single snarl. pikachi had already beaten staryu then starmie beat pikachu.
"so whats the next gym?" asked drax. "vermillion city!" exclaimed ash. "ugh, that man child?" said elesa. there was only one person elesa called a man child. "youre, kiddng me." drax said. "they still let surge be a gym leader? hes a terrible gym leader!" ash looked confused. "whats so bad about him?" he asked. "he calls his challengers babies and riles them up so they cant focus on the battle. he also believes pokemon cant get stronger without evolving." said elesa. "doesnt help that his raichu is just as much of a bully." said drax. "i call dibs on the overgrown rat!" said pikachu. "youre an overgrown rat, pikachu." said meowth. "hes more overgrown! at least im still cute!" pikachu protested. "hes got a point." said elesa. "if you want to beat that raichu, you've gotta go for speed." said drax. "speed i can do." pikachu said while rubbing his paws together maliciously. "anyway, shall we hit the road?" asked brock. "sure." said drax. "well have to do some training for the next gym though." he said to ash. ash held out a fist and drax bumped it with his metal covered one.
the group stopped halfway to vermillion to eat lunch. ash was sent to get firewood so brock could cook the food and hadnt been back in a while.
"you think we should go find him?" asked serena. "im sure he's fine." said drax. "though it never hurts to check on him. he is kinda trouble prone." the group, aside from jessie, james, and meowth who decided to stay with the camp, went to go look for ash. they found him talking to a boy in a fancy school uniform and a treadmil.
"who's your new friend ash?" asked drax. "oh, this is joe." said ash. he was being bullied so pikachu and i stepped in." the now named joe looked over at ash. "i told you they were just helping me study." he protested. "i wouldnt call 'pushing you off a treadmil and laughing at you' helping." pikachu said. "woah, it talks!" joe said. "I'm not an 'it' i'm a he." said pikachu glaring joe. "seriously what is with you humans calling us pokemon 'it'. is it that hard to ask a simple question?" joe flinched at that. "but we cant understand pokemon normally." he said. "no, but we can understand you." pikachu said.
"can we discuss something more important?" said drax. "like: what are you doing studying in a forest?" joe turned to drax. "what are you talking about?" joe said. "my school is right over there." he pointed to said school that just appeared out of nowhere. "how'd we not see that?" asked elesa. "even with the fog it shouldve be- oh, you've got to be kidding me." elesa's curious expression turned to iratation. drax noticed what she was looking at and gained the same look. "pokemon tech." he spat. "whats wrong with pokemon tech?" asked joe. "it's courses are outdated and havent been updated in the slightest, they think simulations are the same as actual experience, and even if someone graduates from here, what they've learned aint gonna do shit in the real world." drax said.
"thats not true." said joe. "oh, yeah?" said drax. "how many evolutions of eevee are there?" joe placed his hands on his hips. "not counting eeveee. three." "wrong." everyone aside from ash said. mainly since he didnt actualy know. "theres 8 known at the moment." said drax. "vaporeon, jolteon, flareon, umbreon, espeon, glaceon, leafeon, and sylveon. let me guess, you probably think theres only 15 types too." said drax. "theres more?!" shouted joe.
"dark, steel, and fairy were discovered a long time ago." drax said. joe blinked at drax's words. "normally i'd think you were lying but you answered my questions so quickly. do you have a dark, steel, or fairy type i can see?" he had stars in his eyes at this point. drax held up his gauntlet and launched out two of his pokemon. gyroblast and evergreen both appeared.
"evergreen is a gardevoir which are psychic and fairy types. gyroblast is dark and steel but he can change the dark type to any of the other 17." drax said. joe looked on in fasination at the two new pokemon he'd never seen. "these must be new species." he said. "gyroblast is. gardevoir isnt." drax said. im guessing you also have only the 150 pokemon from kanto registered at this place?" joe stared at drax before passing out. "damnit. gyroblast wake him up." gyroblast switched to water type and blasted joe with water. he imediatly was back up.
"who's in charge of this shitshow anyway?" drax asked. "oh, thats giselle." joe said. "sounds like a rich girl." said drax. joe pulled out a picture and showed drax. "and you just have this on you?" he asked joe with a raised eyebrow. "i hate the way she treats us but she i like the way she looks." joe said with a blush. "she looks like a brat." drax said bluntly. "musty over there is more attractive then her." drax said pointing a thumb at misty. misty just glared back in confusion. "was that an insult or a compliment?" she asked with narrowed eyes. "both." said drax. "anyway, take me to this chick. i'll have a word with her myself."
and heres this one done. i think its pretty good. but let me know if theres anything i should add. i know i skipped aj, but with drax around they wouldnt get lost meaning they wouldnt meet him. anyway you can suggest what pokemon youd like ash to get aside from legendaries since i already have those planned out. hes not getting either mewtwo so dont ask. and yes most pokemon that are not native to kanto that ash may obtain will be by arceus kidnapping them and placing them near drax. until ash moves on to another region that is. you can also suggest delta species pokemon but i wont tell you who gets them. anyway, see you next time.
