when drax, entered the school it was everything he expected. arcade machines everywhere. students ranging from children to adult. non of them graduated.
joe brought them to a girl woth dark colored hair. she had several boys around her. they were complimenting her skill and she was pridefully holding her head high.
"ah, joe." she said in a haughty tone. "are these new students with you?" joe was about to respond but drax cut him off. "like hell i'd be caught attending this pathetic excuse of a school. he said glaring at the girl. Several boys glared at him and got up.
"dont you speak that way to giselle!" one of them threatened. "shut up, kid. youre not intimidating." drax said. "you. brat. battlefield. now." drax said pointing at giselle and then the battlefield. "how many badges do you ha-" she was cut off by drax. "if all you're going to do is talk it proves how little experience you have. i didnt come here to talk about badges. dont waste my time." he said.
giselle got a little iritated at his words but got up and walked to the battlefield. "we'll see how good this school actually is." drax said loud enough for everyone to hear. giselle sent out a graveler and smirked cockily. "Grinade, randomize my teams so I don't know who I'm sending out first." drax said. "Got it." said a voice from his backpack.
drax held his fist forward as one of his pokemon shot out. when the pokemon fully materialized it revealed gyroblast. several students stared in shock at the pokemon they'd never seen before. "what pokemon is that?" exclaimed giselle. "one of the over 800 pokemon this sorry excuse of a school doesnt know about since they only think there's 150." drax said. giselle narrowed her eyes at the new pokemon. "there's only 150 pokemon." she said defiantly. "use flash cannon." said drax.
gyroblast pointed his arm cannon at graveler and unleash a powerful flash cannon. giselle was caught off guard by the sudden attack. "graveler dodge it!" she shouted. graveler got out of the way just in time. "what type was that move?!" she demanded. "ive never seen that move before!" drax simply scoffed. "i know." he said.
"you idiots only know about 15 of the 18 types of pokemon. gyroblast here is two of those three that you dont know about. Use bullet punch." drax said. gyroblast was in front of graveler before he could react and slammed multiple fast and brutal punches into the rock type. graveler was knocked out after just one attack.
gyroblast narrowed his one regular eye at the trainer in disgust but didnt say anything. giselle grit her teeth and returned graveler. she sent out her next pokemon which was a cubone. cubone looked around before seeing the imposing figure of gyroblast. gyroblast for his part approached the cubone and simply knelt down and placed a clawed hand on cubone's head. he then stood and walked back to drax. not before sending a murderous look at giselle though.
when he arrived at drax's side he spoke up. "she dares send an inexperienced child to the field of battle." he said. several students cried out in shock at gyroblast speaking human. "it talks!" giselle shouted. she flinched when gyroblast pointed his arm cannon at her. "i am clearly male." he said. "you clearly view pokemon as tools for your own goals. tell me why i should not take your head off for sending a small child with no battle experience to the slaughter?" giselle looked over at drax.
"control your pokemon!" she screamed. "control him?" drax asked. "i only call out commands in battle. he's not some animal for me to order around." some of drax's pokeballs were shaking. they were angry. several of his pokemon let themselves out. most of them glaring at giselle. "ash, elesa, brock, misty. lets go." drax said as he and gyroblast turned to leave. "where do you think youre going?!" shouted giselle. "you idiots are so far behind in terms of knowledge on pokemon yet you act like your the greatest thing since the discovory of pizza. you dont know anything on the other three types of pokemon, you only know about the 150 pokemon native to kanto, you use simulations in place of real battles, you send young pokemon into a battle they have no chance of winning, and you have no real battle experience against a real opponent. if i were in you, i'd ditch this school and start over with a real journey and some real experience." drax said. he turned to joe. "you coming?" he asked. joe stiffened briefly before shaking it off and joining the group. leaving the other students to stare at the backs of the leaving group. some thinking about drax's words. others glaring at him.
as the group arrived bac at their camp, glaceon patted drax on his shoulder. "nice speech, boss." she said. "i thought we agreed to not call me that?" said drax. unlike the rest of drax's pokemon grifist was turned away from the group. since they were no longer around a bunch of people, she'd been acting wierd. if anyone paid attention to her they'd see steam rolling of her head and a deep blush on her face. "holy crap that was hot!" she mentally screamed as she thought back to drax's speech. nobody actually knew that grifist had felt this way about drax. she'd hidden it very well. she was the only other pokemon drax had that had taken the human/pokemon hybrid serum. she'd wanted to try it for herself much to drax's confusion as it wouldnt change her appearance much. drax had actually made a modified version of the serum that'd turn the patterns on grifist's body into clothing. nobody questioned her on what her reasoning was for taking the serum. they probably shouldve to be honest. grifist had always been more attatched to drax then the other female pokemon he had. even before she evolved. now if only drax actually paid closer attention to her behavior. maybe she'd get her chance? Nah, no way a human and pokemon relationship would work... right?
dont any of you complain. several pokemon in the anime have shown romantic interest in humans before. mainly latias and ash's chikorita. this one just happens to be more possible. dont worry i wont be touching on grifist's romantic interest in drax all that much. this is a more comedy focused story. besides, they wont actually get together for a long time. besides, she'll have competition. not gonna say who. so dont ask. anyway, see you guys next time.
