Harry Does Different DXXXVo

Incest Is Almost The Best 10

"I am deeply ashamed, Regent Potter." The Deputy Headmistress was speaking very stiffly "Four years of abuse that I did not see. Right under my nose! I am not an Auror, but I know the signs of suffering from Unforgivables! You crack the case in barely four months."

Harry smiled grimly, sitting in the office across from her. He blushed slightly "Well, you're not a teenager trying to have fun, ma'am. Catch my meaning?"

"I see." Her face stony.

He nodded "I don't think you do, quite. In a way, I think many of the students sensed something in Harriet's behavior. The lack of a dating life. Harassment by girls, and boys."

"How does that - -" she began.

He cut her off "I've not seen enough of her, but The Ice Queen of Slytherin as she is known, has a similar reputation. Understand, I am not making an accusation, mine is merely an observation. But, already Harriet is different. Better. Healers insist she needs more help."

"You do know Professor Dumbledore always argues for mercy and understanding." She pointed out.

Harry shook his head "It is the opinion of House Potter that its Earl will best recover if our sentencing request is approved."

"And that is?" her eyes narrowed.

Again, a headshake "Harriet does not need to think everyone knows what he did to her. But I'm all for you attending the sentencing. He brutalized her and took away her memory to cover the crime. It's not about revenge …well only… but she needs to know he'll never see the Sun again."

"It is disrespectful to Him." Somehow McGonagall made the H felt in her protest "He is our leader."

"That's a prior conversation I had. Jumping to the end, he is YOUR leader. And being the Head of Hogwarts OR Head of State for Magical Britain OR Head of State for Planet Earth is a lot for anyone. Don't you, in a way, have about three-and-a-half full-time jobs? Nevertheless, the more top-notch spectators tomorrow, the better." And having dropped his last bomb, Harry departed.

Courtroom #10, traditionally the meeting room for the whole Wizengamot, and the largest in the Ministry, could add spectator space for hundreds more by making balconies of courts on the floors above. And the Ministry made over GG2000 selling tickets for the privilege. Even then, vastly more wizards and witches demanded their right to see. Albus Dumbledore was present, not however, in the presiding officer place, merely among those of his House's Ancient and Noble peers. Not the highest tier even. Those familiar with Wizengamot dynamics were deeply curious about the empty Malfoy seat among the lowest tier, while Narcissa Malfoy occupied the top-tier Black place. Minister Fudge took centre-stage "This 695th term of the Wizengamot is now in session. This afternoon's sole business is sentencing of convict Severus Tobias Snape. Bring in the prisoner!"

"Aww shaddup!" the prisoner snarled as he passed different attendees "You're as mouthy as your brats!" He wore a bright green, no pockets, one-piece outfit. Plus special magic-suppressing bindings.

The rather old Junior Auror who took great pleasure in so attiring him gleefully explained "Should be well on my way to Senior rank by now. But thanks to your shitty non-teaching. Color pretty close to the AK, ain't it? Go ahead, try to escape, please. The bindings? So proud of old Granddad's invention, besides suppressing magic there's a spell on them. Real special. Hehheh. Pull too hard and your hands, or feet [hehheh] just fall off."

Advocate Harris could only roll her eyes and sharply snap "Every word increases the likelihood you get Kissed!"

"Court is now in session!" Fudge's voice was hard "While the convict may say whatever he wishes at this point, I remind everyone else that you are here on sufferance. I have no compunction in closing the galleries and removing all but the Wizengamot. There are sentences that precedent has set regarding this …individual… however, based on a victim's statement the court may either increase or decrease the punishment. I yield the floor to House Potter."

Harriet's small voice was amplified "I know many of you are mad for all the political reasons of an unwanted heir. But imagine it being your wife, mother, daughter. The healers say I need to slowly get those memories back. I know it happened to me. But in a way, I feel like every time he took away my memory he murdered THAT me. Though, really, how do we know he DIDN'T do it to someone else?"

"I HAVE RIGHTS!" shouted the prisoner. But he yanked his right fist close to his body, apparently in response to some warning from his bindings. "I want what is MINE!"

Harry protectively stepped in front of Harriet "Thanks for mentioning that. You will never know, except by vague rumor, the fate of Baby X. This to deny you even the knowledge of the baby's sex. As for what's yours, acknowledging his known Potions talent and factoring in the prestige and pay from being a Hogwarts professor, there was building consensus to add Snape to the roll of Noble Houses. As an addition to any personal punishment, The Moste Ancient and Moste Noble House of Potter lays claim to any and ALL holdings of the Snape Family."

"YOU! POTTER! YOU'RE DEAD!" only the memory of the earlier warning kept Snape in his seat, but his voice was full of malice.

From the top-tier boxes came "Minister, that seems a reasonable demand. This body must send an unequivocal message, line theft cannot be tolerated."

"I thank the Archduke Parkinson for his support." Harriet gave a better account of herself than in her earlier speech.

An inside joke to the Potters, Harry retorted to the prisoner "If you so wish, but that would be too close." Then nodding at a few right nobles "Of course, House Potter would view that as taxable income. Even to the ICW in Jerusalem." After an overwhelming vote in favor of the proposal, he grinned "We thank our peers. I think this will smooth over a punishment House Potter believes would be more effective."

"Dementors provide the ultimate in security, Harry." Opined Albus from his seat "Though I have long argued that their use represents an unnecessarily cruel punishment."

Harriet interjected "The Moste Ancient and Moste Noble House of Potter notes the comment from The Ancient and Noble House of Dumbledore. And will pursue Our own justice in this matter." No one missed the rebuke in the young witch's tone.

"I demand to be freed and immediate custody of my child!" demanded the prisoner, taking all care to not pull too hard on his bonds.

Not that she was in any actual danger, but Harry shoved Harriet behind him snarling "Now you get yours! Could have just left her alone! Petty prick! Nothing James Potter MAY HAVE DONE as a boy justifies what you did! House Potter has negotiated an alternative to Azkaban. We believe, Dementors to the contrary, imprisonment there is too soft. Sitting in a cell, food brought to you." He sneered impressively "Maybe your life won't be half bad, brewing for Gringotts for the rest of your life. Half the value going to Harriet, of course, in reparation. Not in Britain, maybe the gold mines of California, or the diamonds of Africa."

Snape snarled "Well I refuse! I'll not work for those half-pigs!"

"Maybe then, you'll just be a mine slave." Harriet hissed hatefully.

The Minister for Magic was deeply sensitive to the political winds, his wand went off and "Aurors! Take the convict away! Though, I would be remiss if I failed to praise Advocate Harris for her performance. My dear, you did the best you could with what you had."

"You want someone to really blame for this?" yelled Snape as Aurors secured him for transport "Take it up with the almighty Greater Good Dumbledore! He's been behind everything for a century!"

From his place among the middle-ranks of nobles, Dumbledore waved, dismissively "He's delirious. Obviously delirious. Not that I begrudge him, mind you. Stress of a trial. The vindictiveness of a loss of a child, and being essentially sold into slavery."

"Harriet's had enough, I think." Harry handed her off to the kindly, at least to all appearances, Minister. Then in front of plenty of witnesses besides the whole Wizengamot "We have repeatedly said there is NO Snape baby. And House Potter is getting closer to a decision on the matter of Baby X. If he makes potions for two centuries, he won't have repaid the damage he caused!"

The Archduke of House Parkinson took advantage of the moment "I think now the appropriate time to consider Albus Dumbledore's ongoing leadership of the Wizengamot. I move for a vote of No-Confidence." Warwick then called out his secret ally with a silent look.

"It does seem we are in adjournment." Harry gave a displeased look, this was sooner than he'd schemed for, but nodded "During our next session House Potter will be pleased to co-sponsor such legislation."
